I think it's funny that the trailblazer has a moral system in their head where they get a little trophy every time they do something good, for the sole purpose of making them feel righteous, and if they also rack up enough good person points they can make a self indulgent bad eeevil choice, and also some of the things they get good person points for aren't actually good things their morals are just fucked. It's even funnier that Will Stetson wrote a whole ass SONG ABOUT IT

Sincerely, a poor soul who is obsessed with Milgram but knows very little about Fire Emblem.

Lukas is my beloved character of all time :) Comfort character to rival all comfort characters :) He’s just like me fr :) He’s so healing to watch heal :)

He’s from Fire Emblem Echoes, and for a good portion of the game he’s that mentor/tutorial character who helps you/the protagonist through the new world you’re thrown into. The thing was, they put together an incredibly complex asexual, neurodivergent guy who’s not really in it for the fighting (but is damned good at it anyway). They gave him the sweetest and saddest smile possible. They gave him the most relaxing voice you could imagine. They gave him two of the wackiest and complimentary friends. How could I not fall in love?

Basically, he reveals that he’s not involved in this whole war because he wanted to be – his father and brother conspired to send him away to fight for their own gain, not really caring if he lived or died. He took on the new life with just as much motivation as if he chose it himself, though. He’s not here for any dreams of glory or violence, he just wants to help the new friends he’s made ;-; He has a really big heart, but he’s not afraid to make the tough call and commit war crimes. He’s gentle to the child soldier protagonists, but is the first person to trust them and allow them into the army. 

Fire Emblem is notorious for its fanservice, which is why I will forever be Insane over his support conversation with one of those friends I mentioned. He describes his struggles with romance and desire, perfectly describing an asexual experience. His friend, Python, responds with so much kindness. It’s done with a lot of tact and respect, and was one of the final pieces to my own acceptance of my asexuality. 

Less intended, but he talks about his struggles with emotions that comes off as low-empathy neurodivergence, or a form of Alexithymia. He doesn’t feel strong emotions most of the time, then occasionally gets swept up in them and lashes out. (Sorry for all the tmi but) this is also something I struggle with. Though I come off overly excited online, I’ve dealt with the same coldness/heartless accusations he has. His writing and voice acting really drive it home, and it’s wonderful to see. Once again, he’s treated with immense respect for this trait. He feels self-conscious about it, but the cast sees that as a strength of his.

His relationship with the other two knights is super fun! I could go on separate rants about Python and Forsyth, but just know they are equally perfect. They all compliment one another so well, and hype each other up in such lovely ways. They've even got a fun RGB color scheme going on :3

OKAY I AM CUTTING MYSELF OFF because I could go on forever about him 😂 He holds such a special place in my heart -- it's silly, but thank you sm for asking :’) And, since you mentioned Milgram, this reminded me of a super goofy comparison to Yuno I made as one of my first Milgram posts, as well as my wips of the Fuuta-Lukas outfit swap I need to finish...

I wrote my little Purge March section for Lights, Camera, Sing Your Sins :) Since I just snuck it into a preexisting chapter, I figured I'd make a quick post with it on it's own 👍

Amane knelt on the cold tile. She watched the water trickle from the ends of her hair. She could feel droplets across her whole body. She shivered slightly in the tight space.

Before Jackalope had even finished uttering ‘cut’ , a dozen hands were lifting her off the ground. Her head spun with all the voices offering comforting words. 

She gaped from inside the bundle of towels she’d been immediately wrapped in. Kazui had pulled one tightly around her shoulders while Yuno was using another to dab at her head. Kotoko knelt in front of her, rubbing her hands between hers to warm them up. Muu held up her change of clothes, with what looked like one of her own sweaters thrown in. Shidou and Fuuta ushered them out of the set pieces. The area had been designed to look as clustered as her home, but it was much more open than the cameras caught. With just a few steps she was back in the bright, warm studio.

Amane frowned, trying to shrug off the towel. “There’s no need for all of this. I signed off on my script, same as you all. None of you were treated as such during your videos.”

Mikoto poked his index finger into her shoulder. “Yeah, because none of us went through half the shit you did. Trust me, this isn’t because you’re a kid, it’s because this is majorly fucked up.”

She opened her mouth, but all her words died out. For so long, she’d repeated her protests that this was just how things were. She was finding it more and more difficult to argue with the others. She was having a hard time knowing what was wrong to believe.

“I really enjoyed your marching band rehearsal yesterday,” Shidou said, offering a warm smile. She did not return it. She could see through his weak attempt to change the subject. “Er… that looked very fun…”

“Yes, yes!” Yuno chimed in, giving her towel-swaddled body a squeeze. “I didn’t know you could baton twirl! You need to teach me, I’ve always wanted to do stuff like that!”

“Of course.” As the others joined in agreement, Amane did manage to return a bit of their warmth. She was rightfully proud of yesterday’s work. She’d impressed them with her perfect routine. It felt good to boast of a skill that none of those older than her could. Though it was shameful to admit, Amane was really looking forward to tomorrow’s filming. She wouldn’t even mind Shidou’s attention, if he was part of the group praising her talents.

As Yuno went on about the cute costume she’d get for filming the next day, Amane heard Mahiru from behind her. She’d grown more agitated with Jackalope, and her voice raised.

“What paperwork? This is horrific. You should be able to take her out of there in an instant.”

“We’ve got some unorthodox methods here, but I am not stealing a child. Please, Shiina, I’ll tell you when we make progress. Heh, don’t let this turn you into a kidnapper.”

“Well,” she could hear Kotoko, “it’s better than a murderer. Which is what I may be after watching this. And for real, this time.”

Fuuta joined in. “If I ever see any of these fuckers in person --”

“Keep your voice down,” Kazui said, “that’s her family you’re talking about. …Not that I disagree. But she doesn’t need to hear that.”

“Why not?” Fuuta muttered. “She was gonna do it anyway…”

It was true. Though, her motivation had been righteous, virtuous. Theirs was out of vengeance. ...Though, was vengeance in another’s’ name better? What about vengeance in her name?

“Either way,” Jackalope said, “I’m doing everything I can. You’ll be the first to know, okay?”

Amane tried not to dwell on it. Today, she just needed to hold her head high and do her duty, no matter how difficult things became. 

And she had always excelled at that.

So, she sank into the warm bundle. She leaned into Kotoko beside her. She accepted a drink from Haruka. She talked with the others as they asked more questions about her upcoming routine. Conflicting thoughts about what was wrong may have plagued her, but in that moment, she knew for certain that this felt right.

Oc Pride Appreciation Week 1: CHRIS

Say hi to Christian! Also known as good ending void gang au.

She found out she was trans and aroace after the events of undertale with monsters up on the surface, and god was it just a breath of fresh air.

Before the events of void gang, she worked as a pastor, didn’t feel like the job for her, she quit, and now she wants to try become a doctor. She was also dealing with a lot of pent up anger that she eventually learned to calm it down, but it was still around and she never really knew what it came from. Overall tho, nothing ever felt right for her, like a hole she didn’t know what to fill with, until the surface when she started experimenting with “the new human things” just to do some joking around, but it actually just made her feel so much more comfortable and happier then she was before.

And thus lgbt questioning began and now we’re here!!

But then again, if you noticed the “good ending” attached to the au, and the fact that chris is a gaster follower character, Chris never made it to this point, “dying”/ “grey-ified” before frisk falls down and going to the surface. So it makes me sad that i don’t have much about her at her best, but ain’t it that there’s probably a lot of people who probably don’t make it to this point as well, and so i still be proud of her knowing she was gonna figure it all out :].

Ahhh, I sincerely hope you've been doing well. ;.; I don't know if you even remember me at this point since it's been SO LONG since I've really been on here much but I've been thinking of you so much lately and I needed to crash into your inbox to tell you why: I finally watched Mob Psycho 100.

And I see, so, so much, why you love and adore it and seem to continue to love and adore it based on your header (which I saw and excitedly snapped my fingers and said "THERE'S THE GOOD-BEANS I STILL REMEMBER!" XD ♥ I kept thinking of you the entire time I was watching the series because you are the one I associate so much with MP100 because of how often you talked about it and posted media from it and whatnot and I just cannot thank you enough for cementing the show in my brain as a potential thing to watch because it has become one of my hall of fame series now that, many years later, I finally sat and watched it. I am still crying over what happened in season three and I just. WOW!!! hi i just wanted to mention w/ your angst hcs that kotoko did actually say she didn’t try to kill any of the guilty prisoners! in her t2 voice lines she says that since milgram is a 3 trial system, she only wanted to “rough them up.” not to mention that in a tl convo she gets on kazui’s ass for stopping her but (unless i’m missing smthn) she never says anything to shidou, which i think implies that even if she was attacking them, she doesn’t mind them receiving medical attention bc she doesn’t actually want them to die. i rlly love you’re writing btw!! i especially adore how you wrote kazui 💖💖

👀👀👀 Omg YESS thank you telling me!! I was remembering her timeline convo with Mikoto, but it's been a while since I've looked at the voice lines -- that's so good to know >:0

The way she words it is really interesting because she didn't spare them for her own reasons, but for Milgram/Es' sake. I'm so intrigued by her mix of working outside of authority while still bending over backwards for it within Milgram 🤔 And I guess her attitude towards Mikoto may be different because of his (seeming) lack of gray area in his murders, and capability to harm Es. And you're right! She never has any problem with Shidou, or attempted to finish the job, so she definitely wanted the others to recover, huh...

I'm so glad my headcanon works hehe -- though, instead of worrying about taking another life, her guilt stems from failing her righteous duty and getting in the way of justice, which is a very cool twist!

(And ahh thank you sm :'D I'm so glad!! I really enjoy writing him, that means a lot <3)
