#my posts#gameblogging#its called afterimage#its very pretty and has a nice atmosphere#the protagonist has a name and a voice and actually talks#it kinda reminds me of ori a lil bit#i guess bc the music is chill but not sad#its quite colourful also#the movement and controls feel a bit clunky#and the movement ability you start out with is an awkward backdash#and its kind of hard to see the protagonist for some reason#her running animation is really awkward#and the freeze-frames when you take damage#they last about as long as the death animation in hk lmao#and also enemies get knocked back when you hit them but you dont#you also cant move forwatrd while hitting#its kinda weird#so i dont think its the best thing ever#yet at least#but it is fun#oh and there's a level up system and consumables n shit y e a

LOST: Season One
#lost#abc lost#lost one cap per ep#this was a project i was gonna do anyways but the timing worked out that i could post the first one on the 20th anniversary!#this is one cap per ep every season. from left to right. and this is important: its not a cap that sums up each ep#its a cap that REPRESENTS each ep. the way i choose them varies every episode#sometimes its an utterly iconic moment. sometimes it reps the theme of the ep. or it hits with a theme of the character themselves#sometimes the cap i use won't even involve the character whose centric episode it is. trust me. this makes sense#anyways i'll give a good example: for outlaws i was so tempted to use a shot of the judgemental soulful gaze of the boar#or perhaps sawyer in the rain after he shot that man#but! i used that shot of sawyer's dads legs as sawyer is hiding under the bed. i feel it worthy because this moment. this scene#is literally a core part of sawyer. it's a defining moment of his backstory. of his character. so yeah. makes sense yeah?#anyways some eps had Too Much going on (lord i could make one of these for exodus part 1 alone) and some not enough#or well they DID but like lacked in caps that Hit in the way im thinking. thank heavens charlie shot ethan cuz i was worried about that ep#i was like ''aw shit what am i gonna use'' and then an iconic lost moment happened kjhfdsjkhfd#anyways. there are 25 eps in season one. so im really glad that the last ep contains one of the moment iconic visuals/moments in all of los#oh i should add that these caps are unedited. i did not fuck with the colours or saturation in any way#i found 'em and i pieced them together. this is harder than it sounds. i browsed through all the screencaps of every ep of season one#and i will do so the remaining five seasons#some of these were super easy like i knew what cap i'd be using before i even started (eg. do no harm. the moth. in translation)#but some took some real Thinking. and some eps even had several caps that would have worked. this has all been quite interesting#also yeah. y'all already know damn well what cap i'm using for the very last episode

#I'll take good care of her~#*ahem*#the stuff in caps is from me earlier when i first had the idea#she wanted that to be the text but didnt think i might want to.. talk about the drawing process. thats why this awkward transition is here#anyway.. when drawing characters simply i like to draw them like little miis or perhaps teru teru bōzu#thats why her skirt is longer and why she doesnt have arms#also.. i dont use colored pencils often. and while i do have quite a few this is the closest i could get to the Bocchi the Hot! Pink#(or should it be Bocchi the Hot Pink! ?)#anyway.. i also only wanted to use the Bocchi the Hot! #SPOILERS im gonna talk about my thoughts. vaguely#god administrator looks so good in like every single scene. the three panels where she [redacted] AAAAAGGHH#i think that's my favourite composition from the issue. maybe in the whole series.#it's definitely lacking in polish compared to issue 6 but in issue 6 literally every panel was a painting. so really this has been a return#to form. in the style of the first couple issues. and i think the style and colouring still look great.#GOD the opening. the opening. i love it so much. tf2 has such insanely good artists and writers for an objectively stupid as hell story#i love that the mercs get to retire. its so fitting for the time this issue is coming out in#they've been replaced by a new generation of team fighting games and that's okay....what's the matter mags....you wanna live forever...?#i had a lot of expectations for how pauling and administrator's arcs were going to go and im quite satisfied honestly.#idk tf2 can get away with a lot of bullshit just because of it's tone. i think pauling realizing that the reality she was in was just.#Fundamentally Stupid. on every level. and that's okay. that was really good. AND AGAIN REMARKABLY THEMATIC#she wanted it to be evil and all-encompassing and for it to Mean Something and it never really did. that's okay. it doesn't have to be.#sometimes you have to let it go.....and move on.........#i felt a little mixed on the child-rearing but again acknowledging that this universe is stupid it definitely reads as tongue-in-cheek#y'know someone isn't REALLY retired until they start settling down. and there's enough subversions to it that it keeps the kind of#bizarre and irreverent tone. which i so dearly love from these comics. and it fits for the characters that get it#engie also looked really good. man.#YAYYY............ it's over. it's done. we're all free. it's a smissmass miracle.#tf2#beepbeep.txt

if you melt chocolate into your chai does that make it a grimy-chai (like a dirty chai but no coffee) or a spiced hot chocolate
#occurred to me during my experiments of making drinks match skintones#im able to get darker tones with the vegan chai powder than the plain one#while the vanilla chai is slightly yellower and more saturated#also using caramilk instead of white chocolate to lighten gives it a more realistic colouration#i havent experimented much with alternative milks for this but i am excited to see what the warm off-whites will do#since cow milk is so desaturated (colour wise)#also i might try source some other kind of syrups than the strawberry#since its a pinkish red - not quite magenta and i want a truer or at least warmer red for experimentation#also might try to source a blue (blueberry?) syrup or find my green (lime) syrup i got from the bakery#- to see if i can create bruise colours#on a side note if i can find two different ways to cause the same colour change that'll be amazing so i can then work around#-taste preferences or just flavour profiles clashing#anyway uh#thumbs up emoji#plygnt

i think it says something about the zero day fandom that this comment from an openly nazi 15 year old with the literal ss symbol in his username on an edit of the movie just got liked and replied to like normal. like yes this is a random isolated incident but is nobody else concerned about the trend of fans of zero day and other shooting movies (and/or true crime fans) being in or supporting literal hate groups and that just never gets attention because it’s an ‘edgy movie’ or an ‘edgy community’ or whatever… and like dude idgaf thats a goddamn nazi. that’s someone saying racial slurs. are you stupid
