mcc standard time is still such a cute yet practical thing to me because if you've been around mcyt fandoms long enough, you've probably at least heard of mcc. it's like, a big centralised standardised well known event that takes place at the same time every month (sans daylight savings). so if you know when mcc takes place in your timezone, if we start talking about streams / events based on mcc standard time, it turns into a quick calculation instead of googling obscure timezones (sorry they're obscure to me lol). +3 mcc standard time. -2 mcc standard time.

anyways according to false's stream schedule, plateup with hermits takes place at one hour before mcc standard time, aka. one hour from when this post was posted.

no because m still confused at everyone saying this is a bad/boring event. Every Single Server Wide Event these past 6 months have been very lore and riddle focused, with a minor focus on pve during those lore events. it felt unbalanced. the admins have stated before that they want to do events for all playstyles. this is our First Time getting a proper server wide event for a different play style.

the pvp guys need their enrichment too. there is still lore and riddles in this event but thats the minor focus! and thats okay! sometimes other playstyles need to be accommodated and have a place where everyone knows its gonna happen! main island has a gentlemans agreement to not go stupid go crazy between the islanders and that makes it boring for the pvpers. sure they Can set up their own little scuffles with rules but theres something fun about The Hunt that you cant do on main island.

the pvp guys dont get to show off a lot in events. a lot of them dont participate in the lore events point blank OR they get assigned to pve clean up duty while the loreheads get to learn secrets. if you arent able to find entertainment in this event its okay to stop watching for two weeks! ur fellow fans will keep you updated on here/twitter/discord.

HIGHLY underrated and very funny mcyt fic trend is just putting philza minecraft in there. doesnt matter the smp i can near guarantee if you look in their tag theres at least one (1) fic with philza minecraft in it. its like a mold he just spontaneously grows there

ChilledChaos in MCC is maybe the most bizarre crossover that I've ever seen from this man in the literal decade that I've been watching him and I am so excited

My guy relearns minecraft every time he plays it. Every session of it is like watching a newly born dear learn to walk and discover guns in the same moment

I think sapnap has been looking for something to work towards for a long time. I think both him and george are streamers who are really motivated by feeling like they are working towards accomplishing something, and in the dsmp era that was doing bigger and better streams - gaining more and more viewership etc. but when that stuff hit a peak they also kinda hit a wall in terms of streaming passion. I think george has kinda gotten that same thing by trying irl streaming and being able to "conquer" that streaming genre and being successful at it and having fun, but I dont think sapnap has found that thing yet. I think they all focussed a lot on snapchat during the snap era because it was something they could work towards- they were gaining followers and they could get deals and learn the snapchat hacks, but then that started plateauing as well. I'm interested to see where sapnap goes from here even if I'm not thrilled with the platform choice.

One of the people on chilled's team is one of the top mc event players (places an average of 1st in a very similar event) and a lot of people are ranking the team higher bc of him (he is also new to this event though so people are not placing the team as high as they would otherwise)

Right and I get that. And granted idk how good Oli and Kara typically do, or how much one players point count can affect the entire team's placement.

But I mean. This is Chilledchaos we're talking about. Team TIES consists of people who play minecraft for a living.

I don't know if you've heard, but Chilled said yes to participating in this event despite not even knowing what type of competition it is. He has absolutely no clue what happens in MCC. I watched this man ask chat what the second C stood for. I watched him look at his calendar live on stream and put his hands on his head in distress as he goes "It's in eight days?!"

So yeah y'know I wonder if it can really make enough of a difference that they breach last place. Red can do okay point wise but it means nothing if the other teams do even slightly better cuz all 4 of them know how to play the game.

Like I said, we are in for a fun time not a winning time lmao
