[ID: A comic starring Rob Walters, from @sharkneto's fic series shifting together. This is the version of Rob who exists in the canon(ish) Hargreeves' native timeline, who does not know Five well but is now his therapist.

Rob holds a slip of paper with the Commission's phone number.

Rob: "Okay. Calling a company of assassins. Cool."

Rob, dialing the phone and smiling: "Hi, I'm looking to be connected with your employee health department. I'm a psychologist trying to track down a patient's previous health records."

The Commission agent who picked up: "Um. One moment." Then, distant: "Do we have that?"

Rob looks concerned.

Commission Agent: "Would the Office of Agent Fitness help you?"

Rob, head in hands: "Is that the employee health department."

Commission Agent: "It's the Office of Agent Fitness."

Rob, regaining composure: "Okay. Sure, you can transfer me. I'll hold."

Commission Agent: "Certainly! Beatrice, can you go get Don? Can I ask who you're calling about?"

Rob: "I don't think I can legally tell you that."

Commission Agent: "Legally?"

Rob: "You know, HIPAA."

Commission Agent: "Hippa?"

Rob, concerned: "You... DO follow HIPAA, right? As a corporation with employees in the U.S. you're required to protect employee personal info."

Commission Agent: "Well that sounds pretty nice! I don't think they've done that yet."

Rob looks deeply disturbed.

Commission Agent: "Oh look, Don's here! Here you go." He hands Don the phone.

Don: "Office of Agent Fitness, how can I help you?"

Rob, half collapsed on his desk: "Hi my name is Dr. Robert Walters. My patient is a former employee of yours. I'm calling to get his medical records transferred to my office."

Don: "Sure, who's the employee?"

Rob: "Last name Hargreeves."

Don, thinking and not consulting any files: "Hargreeves..."

Rob: "Number Five Hargreeves?"

Don: "Oh, Mr Five!"

The other commission agent spins around and shouts "HE'S CALLING ABOUT MR. FIVE?!" in front of several other agents. On the other end of the line, Rob looks deeply annoyed.

Don: "That guy's a legend! Anyway, yeah we can get you his records. Robert Walters, you said?"

Rob: "Uh, yeah. You can send them to-"

Don: "Oh, we already have an address on file. You'll get them shortly." There's a click as he hangs up. Rob looks horrified.

Rob: "They what."

There is a SHNK sound, and back at home, Sarah Walters opens her fridge. She pulls out a canister from a pneumatic tube.

Sarah: "Uh. The fuck?" End ID.]

So, this is the version of Sarah and Rob from the canon-ish timeline that the Hargreeves return to at the end of Holding It Together. Neither of them ever met the Hargreeves until they got Rob to be Five's therapist. Rob asked if Five has any previous mental health records. Five said "uh the commission might have some, here's the number for the front desk". and now Rob gets to go oh god oh no oh fuck what is this place

almost all of the text was written by @sharkneto i just illustrated it. and did some light editing to make the dialogue fit into a comic panel

aka i work in a doctors office and the concept of trying to ask the commission for medical records was extremely funny to me. thankfully, shark agreed with me lmao. other hilarious jokes here include the fact that they physically get a guy to come down to the office instead of just putting rob on hold and transferring him. bureaucracy is soooooo funny right guys??

long post about the 10/8 update incoming!!!!!!!

ok i dont usually post my thoughts on updates bwcause im the number one adhd rambler of all time but here we go.. you get to read them today!!!!!!! SO. one of my big HSBC theories is that Ult Rose is actually the mastermind of sorts behind the whole story. not in an evil way, because dirk isnt even evil, just in the way that she knows a lot more than shes letting on!!! and that dirk and al might not be the only ones with real influence here. this theory was first thought up by my friend @classpectpokerap and its called the "Gloves are Canon" theory and you can read about it more in-depth here and here! as a fun challenge go back and read the epilogues and early hs2 (and also new updates) with the idea that rose knows more than we think. youll get some really fun stuff out of it and hopefully youll be convinced :p

SO ANYWAYS. how does this concern the 10/8 anniversary update?

HOO BOY

first of all, lets get a few content warnings and things outta the way. this lil analysis is gonna talk about some suicidal characters and suicidal ideation so plz !! be warned!!

first off, we know that Ult Dirk is really just afraid. hes not scary or intimidating at all, to the reader, because he killed himself in one timeline and hes really just trying to do it again. he even says this in the epilogues- that he hopes his death is Just when it comes, and he hopes its dave that does it. dirk feels as though he doesnt belong- hes always felt this way. he thinks the world and his friends would be better off without him, and his last gift to them is to create a new universe where they can start fresh outside of lord english's influence for good. he might be the most obnoxious narrator on earth c, claiming that he knows whats best and that hes doing right by everyone and by you, as the reader. but the TAGLINE of the epilogues are "tales of dubious authenticity". it tells you from the start that youre dealing with the worlds most unreliable narrator here. a guy who says one thing, says hes fine, puts on a mask to make himself seem stronger, but is always harboring the most pain. who also thinks this way?

rose fuckin lalonde!!!!! this isnt just beyond canon either. try and count how many times she did some suicide mission shit in og homestuck. and how non chalant she was about every single one. this character trait stuck around, and its especially clear in the 10/8 update.

and who does she reference, saying that he made the right choice to kill himself?

bam. this miserable motherfucker wants Out.

notice how she doesnt say "kill himself". she says LEAVE. as if she knows ult dirk is in the other timeline, alive and well. as if she knows that she could have done that too. made the right choice. the canon choice.

but what does that mean, in terms of Gloves are Canon? well, if you read the gloves are canon theory part 2, it states how at the beginning of candy, rose's ult self visions completely went away supposedly, but by the time HSBC picked up last year, theyre back...and worse?

how? its only been a few days, in universe.

was she lying about them being gone? is it the influence of having the Light, the Narrative, the Eyes of the Reader back on her now that the comic is going again? was she ulted the whole time just like dirk and we dont know it?

to the reader, the rosemary breakup in both timelines was a destruction of rose's character. but to rose.....its what she thinks kanaya deserves. rose thinks kanaya deserves a life without her. rose thinks shes BETTER OFF without her. and maybe deep down she thinks the whole timeline, and the whole universe, is better off without her too.

i have a lot of thoughts on the other two parts of the update, but i wanted to focus on the concept of ult rose with this post because. god. idk her whole section was so potent and not only confirmed my theory, but just made me feel sick!! /pos

anyway taking a break from other aus because i've been thinking about my fallout au a lot lately! i'm currently building Eventer in fallout 4 to get pic refs but that'll take me quite some time. for now, an updated version of the au framework!

i wrote this: "since we have joe, bk, and ky now i have to add them! i think bk and ky were traveling together for awhile, both of them being from a recently opened vault. joe i think is someone from a different settlement that takes a shine to michael and follows him to Eventer." in a different post but i already want to change that so *scribbles over it* REDO god this au has so many retcons already

i had to read more this bc i started fucking RAMBLING

gavin is not a vault dweller, he is a mr. handy who was put into a synth body (like curie) this explains his british accent and also i think it just fits. i have a wip of a fanfic of them doing the procedure to transfer him into the synth body that maybe one day i'll finish and post here, who knows.

YOU KNOW I GOTTA ADD THE NEWBIES <33 it will be very hard for me to not make joe "guy who gets inexplicably attached to michael and follows him everywhere" in every single au i make but for this i think joe might be a vault dweller (for reference, jeremy and previously gavin before i retconned him were the only vault dwellers) i just think being a vault dweller can give you that kind of new baby but quickly learning the ropes feel that joe has for me still

bk is definitely a shop owner or caravaner that eventually just moved in because she made so many friends. she has such a big and friendly personality i really see her making a lot of social connections and being on good terms with most people who caravan or have stores. i think in eventer she runs a weapons store!

ky i can see as almost like, the unofficial mayor of eventer. she brings everyone together and makes the community closer! she's great at organizing events (heh) remembering important things about what the community needs or wants, ect. she isnt "in charge" as no one really has all the power, but i think her jack and trevor are the ones most respected and who people go to when they need a town wide decision made.

speaking of, i decided i wanted to have trevor and alfredo sort be what valentine is and make them detectives! i want to incorporate more red web vibes in my aus and fallout is a perfect place for that as there are canonically aliens and cryptids in the fallout universe, as well as. you know. murder and such.

as far as who lives together and their roles in the community the updated version would be:

michael and lindsay live together and run a general goods store and as such are involved in trade with other towns and farms nearby. lindsay is a ghoul in this au btw. because i couldn't not make someone a ghoul and i think ghouls are fucking badass so its them, as the most badass person in ah.

gavin lives alone but has several cats. he is the doctor and runs a small clinic out of his home.

jack lives alone and is the radio dj! mostly playing music but also settlement wide announcements when necessary and covering the news ect, like most fallout radio djs do.

trevor and alfredo live together and run a detective agency. when they don't have any cases, trevor builds stuff to help the community and alfredo picks up guard duty rounds as he is one of their most competent with a gun.

matt and jeremy live together! matt works with their livestock (which is just a handful of brahmin and also a radstaag they cant get to leave) while jeremy is more of the "main character" since i made this au because of him, so he goes off an adventures the most. of course he comes back at least every 2 days because of his cats! who if you'll remember, are an eye bot (zipper), a tiny securiton (booker), and 3 real cats.

bk and ky live together - bk runs a weapons story which i am electing right now to call Friendly Fire because thats their team name but also it FITS SO WELL OMG - anyway ky helps with this sometimes when she's not busy planning a cookout, or helping matt set up something for the animals, or giving jack news updates to talk about ect.

EDIT I FORGOT TO ADD JOE: joe lives alone and i think is the head guard like he patrols and keeps the town safe bc its very open. he also delegates patrolling schedules ect. cannot stress enough how he is not a cop tho. he is guarding the town from mole rats and raiders not arresting ppl for crimes.

Like domino's pizza? Also what the fuck is cablepool?

so okay. for reference, cable aka nathan summers is this time-traveller who was born many years in the future in a dystopic society. his goal was to hop around and prevent that future from happening. he ended up joining the xmen and yadda yadda, rest is history. domino is his on-again off-again love interest and deadpool is his partner. i'll get to it in a moment

so dominos power is being able to control luck. no, really. she gives her opponents bad luck and in turn gives herself good luck. it is (from the wiki) "…largely participatory - in order for the luck to take effect, domino herself must engage in an action whose chance she can affect. for example, if domino were to stand before a hail of bullets, she would be shot. instead, she must take action; in attempting to avoid the gunfire, she will miraculously bob and weave just right to avoid every single shot." which is SO interesting on its own to pull vriska analysis from. also, one kind of funny note about her design is that her right eye is surrounded by black in the shape of an eyepatch! that eye also glows sometimes. so you see why i think she was the inspiration for vriska. there's also a lot of similarities with her backstory and personality but i'm not a domino scholar and i don't wanna mischaracterize her here so all i can say is if you want to know more about her and how she inspired vriska, check the wiki lmfao

so now lets wrap around to cablepool, the best example of nicieza yaoi this side of the mississippi. i will be perfectly honest this one isnt even subtext its just canon. they quite literally went to intercourse pennsylvania together. you can watch this amv for examples of what their dynamic is like ive been entranced by it for all of today. also this one because its really funny. regardless. so deadpool was originally created in new mutants vol 1 issue #98 as a mercenary who was hired to take out cable so they spent a lot of their early years trying to kill each other. they are forced to stop avoiding or attempting to kill each other in cable & deadpool vol 1 because of this virus that had infected both of them and thus the only way for them both to survive was to merge their dna structures in an event which i like to call cablepool homoerotic goop cannibalism. the result of this is that cable cannot time travel without taking deadpool with him. following your lover across the multiverse because of fate and to save the world? thats vrisrezi as hell! anyway they cure the virus and they get to stop bodysliding together woohoo. a similar thing happens when cable gets lost in alternate universes and deadpool has to travel through a bunch to save him. then there was everything with cable and providence … so providence was this little paradise island that cable built off of his orbital station called providence that got attacked by aliens and space pirates and deadpool ran in to help only to find oops! cable doesnt actually fully trust him! so cable 'dies' (he doesnt actually die he comes back) along with providence because thats how much he doesnt trust deadpool. which is reminiscent of the jack noir confrontation innit? vriska was so convinced of her own heroism and skill and so afraid of trusting others that she preferred to die than not be at the center of the narrative (fitting as well since deadpool is obviously a very meta character lol). they havent interacted a whole lot beyond that after cable & deadpool ended because the x-editors are evil and hate me and they hate nicieza yaoi and also deadpool is now a Popular Character so they have to tear him away from his roots and make him gay with spiderman instead for some reason. but i get it. get me on a cable & deadpool book i'll be normal (i will not be normal). anyway that book ended in 2008? iirc? which means it was likely On The Mind whilst writing homestuck. and if hussie wasnt into deadpool but WAS into daredevil enough to make a daredevil clone oc i will eat my hat because deadpool And specifically cable & deadpool is like, completely in tune with their writing style. anyway theres my proof that domino is vriska but cablepool is vrisrezi that was most certainly not an excuse to talk about my xmen Hope you all enjoyed it👍

So quick background on sonic: Its a franchise that began as videogames but they've since grown to comics, tv, movies, etc. Sonic the Hedgehog is the main character and he's a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog who's whole thing is he can run very fast. Since the franchise is so big its collected a lot of characters and various interpretations of said characters resulting in a multiverse kinda like superhero comics (marvel, dc) have

So one of these "universes" is a tv show called Sonic Underground. In this show Sonic is one of 3 triplets born to a Queen (and they have a band and magical music instrument-weapon necklaces. im not making that up thats lit every single episode) making this a canon royalty au. And what goes hand-in-hand with royalty aus? Arrange marriage au/marriage alliance au. Which is where this mess was born

See here for a more in-depth thought process but basically i started looking through all of sonic media for possible royal love interests, cut that down by 1 universe per character, then cut that down again by canon character age, before finally cutting out ones that just didnt work (ex. mermaid princesses). Which is where this list comes from

So i took my list and altered the stories to better fit in the Sonic Underground universe, and tada! Thats whats posted here. I'll explain each character under the read more

Universe: several of them

Canon: he has a alien sperm donor who happens to be the ruler of a entire alien race (called Black Arms) that is quite murderous

AU: same deal but instead of being alligned with Earth he is a actual part of the Black Arms and holds a political/leadership position

Universe: a couple of them. I think its primarily SatAM tv show and Archie Comics

Canon: are canon royalty! And Sally is canonically Sonic's love interest in her universe(s)

Universe: she's from a alternate dimension. She's Sonic's counterpart but their worlds are different enough she isnt really considered a alternate version of Sonic himself

Canon: is canonically the Princess (and implied monarch) of a Empire

AU: slapped her story into the same dimension as Sonic and shrunk her empire down to a kingdom so it could fit* in the Sonic Underground verse

*the planet is called Mobius but so is the kingdom so i decided to make Sonic's kingdom a global empire

Universe: tbh idr but it was probably Archie Comics

Canon: in this universe only he's referred to as the Prince of the Golden Hive Colony

and grian slowly going insane while scar has already accepted that he's chaotic

but them only being able to lean on each other in the end

and the first time that happened they had to punch each other to death

the second time they were separated in the chaos of last episode war and both individually died

and now theyre gonna be forced to die together

and then fucking flower husbands

scott (canonically) sobbing over jimmys last death as he had been shot in the middle of a war that scott also died in, and scott had no time to process it until everyone finally left him alone and he just built a grave and broke down

then latching onto pearl in last life and them being the one duo that never broke up in any way as they had agreed to not go face to face in the final battle

and then in double life, scott latched onto cleo as that was the only other person he had any sort of positive personal history with, and they went looking for pearl and by the time they found her they were pissed that her and martyn had just ignored looking for them

so pearl was left on her own, martyn wanted revenge but also wanted to be with cleo, cleo and martyn had beaten each other up, and scott was just like yeah no bye

and then pearl, at first going into some sort of hiding, as she stays awake longer, 5am pearl our beloved loses her dog and just takes it out on the world, freezing herself in a snow bath purely to hack away at scott's health and openly being suicidal just to get back at scott because why should she care? she has nothing left, nobody cares about her, and scott hurt her for (from her pov) no reason. she has nothing to lose and may as well get revenge

scott's view of pearl is just changing for the worse as pearl isn't with it and nobody knows how to handle that, describing her as having gone batshit psycho and wanting nothing to do with her, so much so that he tries to break up other couples (and in the process, having to have ren also be openly suicidal due to a failing relationship), yet still caring for pearl, because one, he kinda has to as he doesn't wanna die, and two, he knows pearl, they spent and entire lifetime together from day one, she's not in a good headspace and scott knows it's his fault

grian's going crazy trying to keep scar from being chaotic as hell, all the while causing his own chaos, subtle enough to not be recognized until the damage is done and even then nobody learns their lesson. he's seen scar be suicidal ("you can slay me and take the enchanter") as well as pearl ("do you want to die?!" "YES!!"), he's seen scar slip further out of touch with reality, talking people into doing things that isnt worth it in the slightest, and he's seen scar latch on to things that they can't give attention to right now. he's seen scar take every risk possible and not realizing the dangers of it - and if he does, he couldn't care less. grian's seen jimmy be excluded and tossed aside and made fun of, and while grian does this too, he sometimes feels bad for him. he's been preyed on for is gullibleness, he's been excluded just because he's jimmy, and he's been tossed into rivers and left to drown just because it's funny

grian's gone to bigb as an escape, and the two want to do something about it, but their universally decided soulmates and the stigmatization of others make it hard - bigb doesnt want to be the reason ren's suicidal, and grian doesn't want to be either - grian also doesnt wanna just up and leave scar, as he's gonna get himself and therefore both of them killed or worse

a gasp left your lips as you felt the bullet go through your chest. you started falling backwards but never made contact with the floor as your son, farlan, caught you before you fell.

“isabel! call dad, mom has been shot!” farlan frantically called to his other half. jean and the others were fighting off the kid who shot you but you were too focused on the pain to even process that.

“mom? mom, please hold on. i can patch you up if auntie hange has something with her” farlan said, tears streaming down his face and putting pressure on the gunshot wound as isabel and levi came running in.

“dad” farlan cried, levi rested your head on his lap and farlan instructed him to put pressure on your wound while he finds something to patch you up.

your comrades were frantically trying to help while restraining the two kids that got on board. you were starting to get numb but you still felt levi’s arms around you.

isabel kneeled beside you, looking stoic as ever but a few tears streamed down her face at the sight of blood gushing out of you.

farlan came back with a first aid kit as the three of them tried their best to stop you from losing anymore blood.

“y/n. y/n, please talk to me” levi said, seeing you practically lifeless in his arms. you weakly looked up at him, smiling sadly.

“i’m dying” you muttered weakly, the two kids froze for a second but continued to bandage your middle again.

“tch. don’t say that, mommy. you’re not going to die” isabel said, her face was carefully blank like her father and you weakly smiled at her.

”that should do. mom, please hang on” farlan pleaded, helplessly watching the bandages get soaked in blood. levi watched his kids frantically try to keep you alive but he knew that you were about to leave them soon.

but he didn’t have the heart to tell them that.

your eyes started closing, seeing a rather inviting bright light when you did and you knew you weren’t going to survive.

“farlan, isabel” you called out weakly as the twins hovered above you, the tears streaming down their faces was breaking your heart. you didn’t want to leave them behind.

“take care of each other and don’t fight anymore, okay?” you whispered, a tear falling down your cheek as they couldn’t do anything but nod. they grew up in a world where they have to constantly say goodbye to people they loved and cared for, they knew what death looked like and it broke them to see it on you.

“levi?” you whispered, looking up at your husband — stoic face, not a single tear in sight but you saw past that mask like usual. “take care of them for me”

levi nodded, keeping his promise as his grip on you tightened. “i will, brat”

your consciousness was slipping away, darkness engulfing you as you looked at your family one last time.

“i love you guys”

levi was the first to notice when you fell limp in his arms, taking a sharp intake of air — building up the courage to tell his kids that you were gone.

“mommy?” isabel asked, shaking your body lightly as farlan observed you closely — trying to see if you were still breathing.

“dad, mom’s not breathing” farlan said, looking up at his father with tears in his eyes. levi averted his gaze, unable to look at the sad expressions on their faces.

“mom! mom, please breathe again. you can’t leave us. mom!” farlan tried desperately but you were long gone. isabel snuggled up to levi’s side, watching her twin try to get you to breathe again.

once you arrived back in paradis, the scouts got a coffin made for you and scheduled a funeral done as soon as possible.

levi had been here way too many times, burying comrade after comrade but never did he thought that one day, he was here because he was burying you.

you laid peacefully in the coffin, all traces of blood from the gunshot was wiped clean. it looked like you were just sleeping from how serene you looked.

“levi, it’s time” hange said as levi nodded, he guided the kids to your coffin — unable to stop the tears from falling down his cheeks.

”i’ve been trying to stay strong for farlan and isabel but now i’m not sure if i can anymore” levi said, cupping your cold cheek as you laid unmoving.

“watch over us up there, y/n“ levi said, leaning down and kissing you on the lips for the last time.

farlan and isabel said their goodbyes along with the rest of squad levi and hange. your coffin was closed and you were carefully placed on the ground and they started to bury you.

isabel was the first to breakdown, yelling for you at the top of her lungs to come back. farlan followed within seconds, hearing his sister breakdown also caused him to breakdown.

levi helplessly watched his kids yell for you to come back, denying your death at the top of their lungs. tears continued to fall down his cheeks as he kneeled down and hugged his kids tightly.

YES YES YES OKAY LETS TALK ABOUT THIS this got incredibly long because I just have a lot to say (and i included screenshots) and i prob got a little off topic but. but lets get started anyways:

i haven’t read that particular storyline in a few months so i might be missing/misremembering some details here, but that whole ‘time prison + future tim’ thing was like. a really really interesting concept and the implications/impacts it has are a big part of why i liked tynion’s detective comics run as much as i did even with it’s flaws in characterization (such as treating tim like he was jimmy neutron boy genius and making steph..... be all ready to quit/breakaway from the team like that. the steph quitting characterization really started i think in batgirl convergence and unfortunately has haunted her since, even though pre reboot never giving up was like...... one of her defining traits. dc i hate you sometimes) 

i think that one of the biggest things that bothers me about the situation is how little we saw most of the other characters in the batfamily grieve (aside from steph and some with bruce, but again the way steph was portrayed just... hhhhhh. it very much reduced her to ‘tims girlfriend’ more than i’d have preferred) but otherwise like...as far as I can remember there was maybe one line in that monsters crossover thing where dick mentioned tim was gone, jason had a single line about avoiding the funeral in rhato, i dont think they showed any reaction from babs at all until after he was back, and the most for damian I recall is at the end of the 2014 teen titans run (#24) where he looks at... a case with the old red robin uniform Tim wasn’t even wearing anymore when he died? and that just bugs me. Instead of getting to see the actual funeral we get one flashback to it way after the fact once Bruce already knows Tim’s not actually dead

But at the time when they all DID think he was dead? the closest thing we see was in that same teen titans issue (#24) there’s a memorial-type ‘sharing stories’ thing after the funeral with tim’s titans friends but.... we don’t see something like that with his family. tim is a major presence in these peoples’ lives, they are his family, when he gets sent into time prison its even SAID how loved he apparently is

its just... idk. they all thought he was dead, and if they had put more emphasis on showing not just telling how that effected EVERYONE (not just steph) in the batfam, it might have felt a lot less like they were just putting tim away until there was a story idea for him. (like obviously I know they can’t make everyone’s stories revolve around Tim, but I’d have way preferred a detective comics issue of the funeral/memorial with the family than having there only be a teen titans one, I think it would have... held more relevance & meaning... but instead they just went right into that monster crossover story instead of lingering on this)

but then the Tim story itself once it does pick up way later, with titans tomorrow/future tim coming along having that whole “tell conner you’re sorry” “who’s conner?” exchange with current tim... that opens up A LOT of things to think about, and I think was pretty interestingly done if i’m remembering correctly. future tim recognizes the timelines are different, and ya know goes off to try to change things further ("whaddaya got there?” “a gun to kill batwoman” “NO!!!!”), theres lots of fighting etc etc the good guys win as we expect, but once that’s all settled tim’s left there with this whole. thought process

which ya know is the big indicator there’s weird timeline/reality fuckery going on (or also the read here can be that tim and kon are so connected across all space and time that their bond can transcend anything even timelines and realities and reboots... “and they were soulmates” “oh my god they were soulmates”) 

ANYWAYS lets not forget that tim isnt the only one who learns about this other timeline stuff during this whole situation!

Brother Eye has records of future tim’s timeline, and cass & steph see who they used to be! and as soon as steph finds out ‘holy shit i was ROBIN and BATGIRL?’ she also desperately wants to know more! which then a bit later leads into young justice 2019 where instead of going off to college like they told Bruce they were gonna, Steph and Tim go get the help of Zatanna to see what might be going on in their brains with these timelines and weird feelings (as we see in flashback form in yj 2019 #5)

and HOO BOY DOES SHE FIND THINGS! she gets in there and finds out that oh yeah, their brains had very much so been tampered with, and with her magic she undoes some of it, by unlocking memories, and Tim finally remembers Conner! (also in case u were wondering, that panel is specifically a callback to this one from yj 1998 #17 when Cissie quit the team)

one thing that I think is weird/interesting/idk if it gets... properly addressed even, was that Zatanna also poked around Steph’s brain too and she didn’t remember everything? Might have something to do even with how Tim had been in time prison, might have taken less work from Z to open things up because of that? Who knows

additionally i wanna call attention to how he said “That entire chapter of my life” which... leading into my next point a bit... strongly leads me to believe even though he’s remembering some things he definitely does not have ALL of his memories back (because theres a lot more than just the young justice ‘chapter’ of tim’s life that was drastically changed by the new 52 & rebirth) 

BUT moving on, i wanna bring up this part from later on (after they figured out that there was a crisis that caused things in the world to change, which is why their memories/brains were messed with) in issue #16

so yeah, I think it’s indicated even though Zatanna brought back some memories and opened up his brain a bit, there’s still many holes, and some things seem more like dreams rather than memories and he’s probably unable to tell which are which on his own to some extent. (also for reference the real thing that Tim thought was just a dream is... likely yj 1998 issue #1)

So based on the things i’ve brought up here (which are the things I remember off the top of my head, I could easily be accidentally leaving shit out LMAO i haven’t fully read through any of these books in at least 3 or more months now) I think it’s safe to assume that Tim definitely has a head start on getting back his memories before Death Metal happens, but that it was by no means a complete thing. So the after effects of Death Metal are probably just gonna... be a little less drastic for him vs most other people because it was already happening, but it’ll be kinda filling in the remaining gaps? 

And like you said he is absolutely one of the few people that already knew about about the timelines/the fact that these crises have happened and changed things, but pretty much all the other young justice characters are also aware that there was meddling in the timeline/that multiple timelines and alternate universes like this exist since they were all together as a group when it got explained (in like. yj 2019 #15 i believe is where most of the explaining happens) (and cass as well is aware of things to some extent because of her and steph’s interaction with Brother Eye) but the difference is that Zatanna didn’t go into everyone’s brains, so they aren’t dealing with the same memory things as Tim (and possibly Steph? because again Z DID go in her brain, she just wasn’t able to unlock all the same things as she did with Tim) 

but yeah in general i SO wish this was explored more, both in canon and in fanworks (fanworks tho... that can still happen >:3c). Memories hazily coming in for Tim while Kon and Bart are able to confirm or deny things, him dealing with conflicting memories and feelings about his past as they trickle in... like I think we’ll start to see these types of things moving forward across a lot of titles with Infinite Frontier (i BELIEVE dont quote me on this but I BELIEVE the person writing Damian’s upcoming solo had mentioned in an interview that the memories coming back of the other timeline aren’t going to be an all at once thing but will be more gradual for most characters) but the fact that it theoretically had already been happening for Tim for MONTHS and we only got that one crumb indicating it in #16 of it instead of any actual exploration makes me SAAAAAAD

hmm probably magic as well as her life as a daughter of a nobleman. a smaller point, and not all that 'word' related, but her being traped for most of her life. first, in the grasp of her parent's hands, pushing her into a mold of a perfect daughter, and later on her husband's, pushing her into becomin a perfect wife. it isnt apart of the world buildin, but sumthin i keep goin w characters from the world.

Is there any significance behind their eye color? 

ahh yes. kinda at least. i wanted to give Madonna more tired, if not lifeless eyes. and i also wanted her eyes to be a calmer color, just for her face not to seem too overwelming, as her red hair already pops out a lot, so chosin grey/white for her eyes was sumthin i needed to do. plus, her main colors are supposed to be reds, blacks and whites.

kinda. i did design him w Katya and 7 in mind. he is 7's father so he should have sum similarities w her. and as for katya, i wanted her to be different from him, by quite a bit. cus of that, i ended up givin him lighter skin tone, blond hair and golden, dragon like eyes. and gave katya a bit darker skin, dark brown hair and turquoise eyes.

mm i guess is i gatta keep in mind that while he is affectionate and an open person, he's still hunreds of years old. he is smart and more than capable of lyin, and isnt scared of bloodshed. he's still dangerous and makin him seem too himbo like would be a hard mistake. and the fact that cus he's that old, he is lonely. sure, he does have kimiko, who's been w him for most of his life, but he still has to live w the fact that everyone round him will die, the fact that he will be left alone, be it now or later. he should show apritiation towards life, as he knows that its fleaing and could be ended w a single blade.

Ok i'll bite what's a homestuck ~ra✨

oh!! you said the magic words, ra <3 so! without further ado...

let me tell you about homestuck.

ok i never really expected this day to come but holy shit it did and now i am incredibly stumped for words.

homestuck is... a lot. its a webcomic, for starters, that ran from April 13 of 2007 to April 13 of 2016. it was made by andrew hussie, his magnum opus from his series of MS Paint Adventures which is named such due to the art... being made in MS Paint.

the whole hubbub and reason why every 4/13 homestucks come crawling from the pits of hell with grey paint and apple juice is because it is the most significant date in the series. Aside from it being the literal start and end points of the webcomic itself, April 13 is the birthday of homestuck’s main character: John Egbert.

The series itself revolves mainly around four teenagers: John Egbert, Dave Strider (my beloved <3), Rose Lalonde, and Jade Harley. They play this game called SBURB and are essentially... sucked into it and undergo lots of crazy shit within it. I don’t want to get too into it, but its... certainly interesting. For reference, remember they are called the Beta Kids.

At some point in the series, our four protagonists encounter twelve new characters (known as the Beta Trolls) notably themed after each of the zodiacs. These characters are known as trolls. They have grey skin, yellow eyes, and candy corn-esque horns, which is why youll often see many people with those features in the tags of homestuck. They are also major characters in the series and are fan favorites of MANY.

Hussie created an entire culture for these creatures. buckets are known contraceptives and the world they live in is hierarchal. Their worth is based on the color of their blood (candy red being the mutant outcasts, to fuschia being royalty), and each troll of these twelve is denoted by their zodiac symbol.

they also have a different social structure.

of the troll romances, there are four kinds. this isnt super relevant, but most people are confused so here is a breakdown of Quadrants that is grossly oversimplified. also note that these are usually portrayed as monogamous (i.e. you can only have one of each quadrant)

- Matesprits (♡) are your typical lovers--translated as romance to humans. noun: matespritship

- Moirails (♢) are your best friends. they also have the task of being your pseudo-therapist because alternia (troll world) is fucked up like that. noun: moirallegience

- Kismesis (♤) are... hate fucks? essentially they’re your sworn enemies but also you care about them and have sex sometimes. enemies to lovers but you never stop being enemies personified. noun: kismesissitude

Auspistices (♧) are like self designated referees or marriage counsellors. They usually find antagonistic troll pairs and work their problems out, basically feeling nosy because they want their friends to get along.

i really dont have any excuse for why these are so complicated, but the common excuse is that trolls are incapable of feeling like, love as we know it? a lot of their base feelings are pointed towards lust or pity. idk. my homestuck knowledge is rusty. also all the trolls are canonically pansexual i think?

ANYWAY.

Homestuck is typically lauded for its both amazingly chaotic vibes (search Dave Strider quotes or dancestors character designs for reference) and interesting storytelling medium. it doesnt tell a story like any other piece of media ive ever consumed, thus making it interesting to go through. The whole thing also began on a poll system wherein fans actually CHOSE the actions taken in the story before it got too big and hussie simply wrote it by himself. all of the music and animation was made by FANS in collaboration with hussie, leading to AMAZING sequences, [S]Cascade (which is up on youtube!) being one of the best examples. 

the whole series is beset on all sides with lots of inane and colorful ideas. Some may call homestuck too “”busy”” and cramped to be good, which i dont totally disagree with. Amid the already colorful cast and dialogue, homestuck also touches many things like time travel, parallel universes, and even existentialism at a few points.

The timeline for each character is absolutely whack beyond comprehension, and most characters in the series have died at least TWICE (Dave and Dirk at the lead with at least 8 deaths each). There are even further amounts of mindfuckery with alternate sets of characters like the Alpha Kids, composed of Jane Crocker (also born 4/13), Dirk Strider, Roxy Lalonde, and Jake English. 

Among these characters, I’d like to say that Jane is technically John’s grandmother while John is Jane’s father, Dirk is Dave’s older brother/father and Dave is ALSO Dirk’s older brother and father, Roxy and Rose are each other’s moms, and Jake and Jade are somehow each others grandparents.

Confused? We are too.

...and psst, there are Alpha Trolls aka The Dancestors too. One’s themed after Dante Basco.

Moving on from that, there are guardians and travellers and even more troll ancestors--basically so many characters that if i listed them all i think tumblr would crash this post. They all die and live and fight and die again over and over, but I think that getting into it would reveal a few too many spoilers and also just make my fingers hurt.

Definitively? I don’t think there’s any way for me to tell you all about homestuck and my deep feelings on it in a single sitting and one ask. The webcomic is a vast and deep experience that I don’t want to ruin you experiencing for the first time with too much babbling, but just know that it is something i think is simply brilliant. People definitely shit on it, and most homestucks will tell you themselves ironically or unironically that it ruined their lives, but as a final note--i just wanted to end my 4/13 ramble with one final reference.

Does zukka fit a flower shop/tattoo shop trope? No, absolutely not. Am I writing head canons for it anyway? Yes, because I want to, and I said so, so I’ll make this work

-zuko loves the arts. Has loved the arts since he was young. He passion starts in the theater, and that’s where he starts to branch out

-maybe, just maybe, he leans away from theater a little bit because of his dad

-he doesn’t really talk about it, but he knows that he ended up going into his field because it was a little bit more masculine

-it takes a couple of years and a lot of therapy for him to separate his history with his dad from the work he very much loves to do, even if he started for all the wrong reasons

-but he’s good at it

-he’s a really good fucking tattoo artist

-zuko does almost exclusively in blackwork

-on occasion he does spot color, and ok of course his signature spot color is red, because its BOLD

-but he really really loves blackwork

-there’s a flower shop on the same block as the shop he works at

-but lets get this straight sokka absolutely does not own this flower shop

-aang does. Sweet sweet aang, who’s a vegetarian, who gifts his beautiful girlfriend katara flowers every other week despite the fact that its literally from his work

-katara loves it no I do not take criticism

-sokka just likes to stop by to bully aang hang out

-a lot

-its also because katara hangs out there so often and sokka just really loves his sister okay

-plus sometimes he brings his work (he’s an engineer, what a smart boy) and works in the back room, paperwork and math and all the administrative stuff

-there’s a little restaurant around the corner that the gaang goes to all the time, its cozy and warm and they don’t mind when their group gets a little too rowdy because they’re nice and they tip as best as they can for young adults in these trying times

-anyway every single person in the goddamn world works on this street okay

-yes this restaurant is iroh’s. We like it that way

-iroh is very nice to them and they are very nice back

-zuko does live in the area but come on, cities are big, you don’t run into people you know ALL the time

-even when they hang out at your uncle’s restaurant all the time

-zuko also has weird hours. He kinda sets up his own schedule, especially around his clients appointments

-but one day zuko is at the shop and a client is a no show, which always sucks even though he has their security deposit, so instead of sulking and going all the way home, he grabs his bag and heads to iroh’s

-settles down in a corner there, out of the way, with a sketchbook and headphones in so he can work on a flash sheet

-his uncles presence is warm and inviting just like his restaurant and zuko feels better just for being there

-and then, even over his music, he hears someone go “hey! He did my tattoos!”

-and zuko looks up to see the gaang, only one of which he recognizes - ya know, cuz you kinda don’t forget doing a massive body-scale blue arrow tattoo?

-and aang didn’t really intend for it to become anything, he was just excited, but zuko also isn’t sure because he’s awkward so he does say hi

-and the gang just kind of hovers over his flash sheet for a while and invites him in and somehow he ends up at their usual table

-(maybe its because he’s AT their usual table, he realizes. Small world, everyone wants the corner)

-now let’s not forget

-sokka is a bisexual disaster

-zuko is beautiful and sokka kinda wants to hate him for it? He doesn’t but he would love to

-also he doesn’t see any tattoos on zuko so he’s skeptical like aang are you SURE you didn’t hit your head

-toph is delighted no I did not forget her she just is too good of a character for me to write her justly

-but anyway she punches sokka (with affection) any time he voices too much skepticism

-on a different day, sokka goes in to zuko’s shop, because he’s around and he wants to see it for himself

-he isn’t allowed to watch zuko work of course, but he does get to watch zuko come out with a finished client and take some pictures of it

-it’s very impressive, and okay, maybe he DID do gang’s tattoos

-which just means sokka is smitten

-zuko is also smitten do not worry. They are both disasters

-zuko gets adopted into the gaang and they start to hang out. Their shops are so close, they love iroh, their ages are similar, and they get along after enough time. Its nice. Zuko likes it

-one day it rains, and gets really humid, and its fucking hot. So zuko finally takes off that dumb beat up leather jacket he always wears, only this time its not covering a long sleeves shirt, he’s wearing a tank top

-and sokka takes it back because zuko not only has tattoos, but they WORK for him

-zuko doesn’t have any shitty tattoos, because he spent so long dreaming of the theater and thinking that he couldn’t have tattoos if he ever wanted to be on stage, that by the time he finally acknowledged that his dreams had changed, he was working with and around tattoo artists and could afford to jump straight to full on intricate sleeves that took several sessions each

-it is the only good thing his father has ever given him. Jk he doesn’t credit his father for shit and somewhere in this universe there is room for his father to go to jail. Its already happened, and he’s sure he’ll have to tell his new friends at some point, but not now. He doesn’t wanna

-anyway his tattoos are beautiful. And all botanical

-they all have little scientific names nestles between the branches and stems, it dips below his clothes line, but they’re gorgeous

-pretty much everyone wonders why the fuck he doesn’t show them off, but he shrugs

-“I do, just not. here.”

-he likes to be recognized for his OWN work on his street, by his shop. Not for the work that’s on him

-aang is very excited and begs him in that way where you don’t REALLY have the option to say no to come look at his flower shop

-zuko does, its very pretty

-sokka pays attention to all the flowers and colors he likes

-color was hard. Zuko only does blackwork, how is he supposed to know which color flowers to give him?

-if he ever asks zuko out. Which he’s gonna at some point, because aang may be happily oblivious (or is that just his own way of playing the game? Sokka never knows) but katara is onto him and he has a limited amount of time to ask before katara does it from him

-they meet at the shop, the whole gaang, but this time everyone shuffles out early to leave the two dumb boys alone, and sokka asks to walk zuko home

-“idiot! You’re supposed to take him OUT not HOME”

-but the walk is nice and sweet and then, sadly, too short

-but sokka does make it a habit

-eventually he gives zuko a package and dashes away after their walk

-its a picture frame, with a bunch of pressed flowers, collaged in with snippets of poetry. zuko can tell they’re from different books, because the sizes and kerning and fonts are all different, and that’s a nice touch of detail

-when he looks them up, he finds a couple of them are from plays, not poetry books, and he binges the plays

-it also comes with a note from sokka that says “you get what I’m saying, so just. Text me if you wanna talk about it”

-he does text sokka

-they go out on a very nice date to a restaurant that ISNT owned by zuko’s uncle, and then go out on many more dates after that

ok /j /j but!!!! minecraft diaries :]! its this rlly old minecraft modded survival series/roleplay made by aphmau. it was started on march 11 2015 and went for three seasons (the third is unfinished and currently privated on the aphmau stories channel so the canonicity of it is dubious). its very much not worth watching bc its super shit and theres a lot of problems surrounding it such as serious subject matter dealt with poorly and genuinely just. bad writing. however its my childhood and i still really like a lot of the concepts such as shadow knights and the magic system, so i decided to rewrite it! also catboys are a canon thing

the storyline wasnt developed in the slightest til abt the midway point in s1? its very all over the place and there are so many plotholes and romance is pushed on every single character no im not joking and the main character is just a mary sue (along with her canon lover, aaron, who is just aphmaus husbands sona) who also happens to (spoilers) be literal god so thats fun

by the s3 point the other main series on the aphmau channel called mystreet (the same characters in an urban setting; they live in a cul de sac) had grown in popularity so they halted s3 production to focus on it. then that story got an actual plotline which to my reputable sources (see: mel and my ten year old sister) is absolute shit but idk ive never seen it and never will! but i digress the versions of the characters in mystreet are horrid caricatures of the actual characters and make them out to be so shallow and surface level and also laurance isnt even fucking in it for 80% of it which means that it suck /hj

there was at some point a diaries rebirth which has like? 20 eps i think? but thats on pause rn bc of covid and im not rlly a fan bc frankly they infantilize the main character from what ive watched in it and No Thank You! so yea :]! aphmau has other series such as my inner demons and void paradox (the vp concept is so sexy i rly like it ngl) which in the case of mid exist outside of the mcd universe (technically vp too but laurance shows up so not rlly) but theyre much less popular

Stupid random theories, headcanons, and unpopular opinions of mine

My mangle theory :

I cant be the only one here who thinks that mangle was taken apart by little kids. It wouldn't make sense that little toddlers would be strong enough to pull apart a metal robot. That's because the kids didnt break her, william did. Mangle seems like he was an inspiration from funtime foxy because sister location happened before AND a lot of times, "toy foxy" is often referred to "funtime foxy". Due to this inspiration, mangle had the ability to record voices and things just like funtime foxy. Why am I pointing this out? Well, why would mangle randomly have static noises and a broken radio sound? It's her recorder, it's broken. He recorded many things and then recorded something that someone didnt want anyone to find out about. That someone would be William afton. William is always suspicious and doing evil things.Let's say that, oh idk, maybe William murdered someone, some person called the cops on him, (which explains the police messages n stuff in the radio) William killed that person and his the evidence of the murders. At least that's what he thought. Mangle was somehow recording the whole thing. William had no other choice but to take her apart and destroy him. But then William thought that it would to suspicious to have mangle be randomly broken the next day and so he fixed mangle up in way where it looks like shes fixed, but one tug hes broken and the kids are there to blame for. All of this might be a stretch I know, but apparently in one of the fnaf 2 minigames where theres a mangle Sprite, in the files or sources codes or WHATEVER IDK, there's a hidden message that says "he was here" or something like that. THAT CAN SUPPORT THIS THEORY errr headcanons? Idk I should go sleep lol

Micheal headcanon:

I always wanted to believe that Micheal was the older brother/Bully and that the bite victim was a different character. Why? Because I want more..character for Micheal. He went to sister location because he wants his torn apart family to be back together. He went to save Elizabeth and he never forgave himself for being the one to 'kill' his brother and all that failed. I wanted Michaels story to be exciting and emotional because of his past and the whole family thing

I also always liked to think that Micheal started working out to gain some strength before becoming a technician because he knows that the robots are strong and dangerous. That way things can be more action packed with Michael punching through pipes and walls, and holding back animatronics trying to grab him, and just...cool stuff

Fnaf headcanons:

Freddy has a nice deep voice and that's his real voice. When it comes to preforming during the day, he talks in his "family friendly" voice which is all goofy and fun (kinda like Patrick star's voice) The animatronics are a lot different on stage. It's as if they play as characters and they change their voices sometimes (like Freddy). Chica acts like this ditzy cute country gal, Bonnie is a laid back chill bon, foxy is just more ...pirate, and Freddy is a fun loving silly lead singer

Nightmarriones pupils change shape to Express his emotions. (Sad=tear drop pupils, sick=swirly pupils, angry=skull or fire pupils)

Lefty has his own voice instead of a whispery girly voice because he is his own character. He may look like the rockstars but he was made differently. The rockstars were built by some factory or company and they have advanced technology which gives em the ability to have emotions, personalities and to do tricks. Meanwhile lefty was built by henry in a shed or something. Henry only focused on programming him to find charlie and he had to make lefty look like the rockstars to blend in and not be suspicious. Other than that, lefty was a total rush job. Henry only wanted Charlie therefore, Henry didn't care to give lefty a personality, emotions, an EYE, or stablness.

In the afton family, the mother is sweet, kind, caring, and over protective while william is outgoing, silly, and isnt afraid to do anything (before he went insane). Usually kids have similar personalities to their parents soooo I like to think that Micheal is more like his mom but looks like his dad and that Elizabeth looks like her mom but acts like her dad. Why? Because I always saw Michael as a hero, he cares for others and he wants to save his family. He is sweet and protective like his mom. Elizabeth is rebellious and sassy. In the sister location mini cutscene with William and Elizabeth, she disobeys william to see baby and that's a rebellious move. Elizabeth likes adventure and crazy things so she wont follow the rules any time soon.

Funtime chica does all the rockstar's make up. When months pass by, the rockstar's paint would peel or chip and so ft. Chica would repaint their lipsticks, eye shadows, cheeks, etc. And they look fresh and new afterwards

Even though puppet and Goldie (and all the other animatronics) have been through so much shiz, they still try to keep their cool and enjoy life

In the rockstar crew r. Bonnie is the creepiest. Yeah, he seems chill and is self centered, he is the only rockstar who is most likely to murder someone if he's told to do so (this isn't counting ucn where they all kill). All on Bonnie's songs are so creepy and he sings about killing you in unique ways. Stuff like making slivers (or slippers) out of you, flaying your flesh, smashing your face into concrete, ending your life, and stabbing your heart with his guitar. He's definitely into gory stuff

Springtrap has two different personalities. Most of the time he's himself, spring bonnie. A kind fun loving bun who completely changed his personality after becoming springtrap. He is know constantly scared, upset, and afraid of Williams next move. He hates being an evil monster but it's not something he can control due to William still having control over him. When the slringbonnie side of springtrap gets mad or upset that's when hes weak and William takes control and becomes the evil side of springtrap. Springtrap is very aggressive and very strong. Slringbonnie tries to fight back Williams spirit, but as time went on and when the kids got sent free, spring bonnie got lonely and gave up which let William take full control over him. Sprjngbonnie is gone, its William now (which explains scraptrap)

Idk if this is a theory or headcanon but fnaf 1 bonnie is blue. Yes, he is known to be purple and everyone says and draws him purple but he's blue. Maybe it's the certain blue color he is but due to lightning it makes him look very purple. When he's in more darker areas, bonnie is very blue but when he's in the light areas, hes purple. Let's not forget how every single version on bonnie is blue (except for extras like spring springbon and bonnet etc.) Exept for fnaf 1 bonnie. That doesn't make sense if one of the originals would be purple but all the other versions are blue. One more thing, in the silver eyes, they mention that bonnie has blue fur ;) this was a dumb rant sorry

Shadow bon is evil and can shape shift cause hes a goopy shadow boy and shadow fred is his lil assistant

After fazbears fright burned down, William got to take control over springbonnie(trap) and roamed the streets at night. He roamed dark allies and probably killed whoever slighted him. It was a long walk but he was just trying to get to his destination, fred bears diner. Because of the fires, the springtrap suit was more ruined and unsturdy and so it was time for a change. Somehow William got out of the suit but he's weak without one so he picked an old spring bonnie suit, scraptrap. (According to the fnaf minigames there are multiple spring bonnie suits so that why spring trap looks different)

I got more headcanons but this post is already to long :p

My Unpopular opinions:

Am I the only one here who's not way into the whole Michael AI theory?? Like it kinda makes sense but at the same time, making a whole new robot son with advanced technology IN THE 80s does not give the fnaf-y feel?? Ya know what I mean? Like it doesn't fit the theme? Also the ai thing is in the books and the books are a different universe from the games sooo idk why matpat still connected them?? Hsjsbsjsjsn fnaf is just waaaaay to confusing. Also please dont get mad at me for this opinion cause matpats ai thing is just a theory, its not canon

Foxy isnt super great. Dont get me wrong, I love foxy and he's an amazing character but I don't get why he got so much attention and hype

Bonnet and lolbit should just be canon already. They're not canon characters but they're included in sooo many things in fnaf so might as well make em canon

Funko needs to make a fnaf 2 figure set where you collect t.chica,t.bonnie,t.freddy, puppet, one of the withereds or shadows and you collect them all to make a mangled mangle figure. I would DIE for a fully formed noodle fox figure, how cool would that be?

THE OWLS ARE IN! IT’S TIME FOR THE SURVEY RESULTS!

So, as many of our followers are probably aware, we recently did a survey to get a feel of what people thought of our blog. We got a total of 57 results and we are grateful to each and every one of you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. Now, we’re here to share the general consensus of what people thought and how we will accommodate these opinions.

We’ll definitely have some changes to the blog, so read on to see what those changes are!

Before we begin, we have a few things to briefly mention.

The results are pretty scattered. We didn’t want to restrict anyone, so most were free response or included “Other”. In hindsight, there were a few questions that could have easily been multiple choice without really restricting anyone. (Side eyes the first question.) Therefore, most of these will just summarize the results we got. Occasionally drop the graph for the multiple choice questions.

Because of the large amount of responses we got, not every answer will be listed here. We highlighted the things that were either most commonly mentioned or had us thinking the most.

Our original quotes often don’t have sources. But if there’s one where a mod forgot to credit a source, please just message us and one of the admins will fix that!

Yeah, we’re working to fix that. I like pretty blogs too.

Strangely enough, we got this a few times but our later poll about how often to post were contradicting this. So, unfortunately, we will not be adjusting this.

We’re sorry you feel that way. We always put it in the tags, just in front of the source. We are more of a mod-based blog rather than a submission-based blog. Anyone is welcome to submit, but about 98% of our posts are created by our mods.

How often should we post?

We got a lot of variety here. Some say once a day (which is how often we currently post) was ideal. Others put stuff like...

“I wouldnt mind my entire blog just being filled with your posts.”

While Once A Day is the most voted for, the rest of the options put together, which we’ll name Two or More Times a Day, do win overall. Since we have one new post followed by a reblog, we’ll compromise by posting two times a day, but with one new post a day (the second being a reblog).

In UTC, what times do you prefer us posting?

As expected, not many people cared. But two people felt very strongly and voted for 12am, 1am, and 6pm UTC. So, we’ll consider that.

What characters, relationships, universes, etc. would you like to see more represented in our posts?

We got a lot of responses here, primarily being more Wolfstar, Jily, and BFFs James and Sirius. We also got a lot saying we should post about Hinny, Romione, next gen, FBAWTFT, etc. in which I remind you that this is a Marauders blog.

We also got the hilarious response that said we should maybe post about the “merauders”. Well, we can certainly promise you that.

We also got a lot of people saying more McGonagall. That’s something we can definitely do.

Would you like to see more original quotes from us?

For the longest time, the option 50/50 was at exactly 50%. Kind of disappointed that is no longer, but the 25% option is at 25%, so that’s something. Anyway, we’ll aim for 50/50.

What else would you like to see us post?

This was one of the results that will make the biggest change to the blog. People seem to really love these ideas. So expect...

Marauder Mondays! Every Monday we’ll have Marauder Monday, where we’ll answer asks, reblog posts, and have a party! Probably when we’ll post the “extra” posts, like our GIFs, graphics, aesthetics, videos, etc.

How would you feel if we did sponsored posts?

Combined, it seems like ~75% of those who took the survey are good with sponsored posts.

These results honestly surprised us. We’ve gotten a lot of offers of sponsorships in the past but have always denied them because we didn’t know how our followers would feel. We probably won’t do this in the near future, but it’s an option.

What kind of projects would you like to see us host?

We got so many people suggesting merch. Shirts, stickers, pins, other merch... So we’ll keep that in mind! We’d love some Marauders shirts ourselves.

Shipping meme ( Still accepting !! )

9. Who are some characters you ship your muse with?

At the moment, I only have a handful of ships with Rosie. Given shes difficult as hell to deal with, shipping is not always easily (1. because of the nature of her doesnt make her easy to love and 2. Because I'm a babu and dont like to feel like I'm jumping the gun on people to love her askgifn)

She varies by fandom, but I have about 4 at the moment

- The main ones are with Guts (@cecidesent) is one of the first ships she had when I got here to tumblr. Berserk fandom has died out but it still is my first love before the fandom like tore itself apart. Although my Guts isn't around publicly, the verse where they shared their immortal lives together and Rosie spends her lifetime lamenting him in the modern day is the :V: The Fall: verse.

- My most common one you probably see on my blog is my Marvel verse, where Rosie is married to Eddie Brock(aka. Venom) (@osteum) and they have a family of 6 kids( 4 birthed, 2 adopted) all together. It has a lot of development behind the scenes but it's kind of my go-to if I'm not using my main verse because I love my symbiote kids and it honestly leaves a lot of room for exploring because of the up and down of their parents relationship, but also because of the anti-symbiot policies in the Marvel universe and how people see them. Rosie is still a leader of the angel squad and real deal always ready to throw down because of the bad reputation symbiots have the the people that shit talk about her Eddie and Venom. Its wild. This verse is found in the :V: Fate can be kind: tag.

- My other Marvel verse is with Wendell Vaughn (@quantahope) where Rosie and Wendell are still in a developing(long distance) relationship. Its honestly really sweet with the two of them sharing that burden as protectors, and it's full of jokes and their two strange families coming together. Mia and Malakaid love Wendell and Epoch, and Mia is an especially bad influence now that she has the power to convince her naive siblings to cause trouble with her. It may be new but it's still so fun. Found in the :V: Wendellverse: tag

And lastly is a plot driven ship with Lauren(@sunflcwcrr) which started out as sweet but Rosie is a crazyass bitch and the ship has lowkey turned toxic mainly of Rosie's part( Aka. She keeps wanting to impulsively hurt and kill this girl every time they're even slightly intimate) , but 2 single moms coming together after heartache and using each other for comfort for what is no more is a true angst trip.

Those are my only ships at the moment, while Rosie may playfully flirt and have relations with people (aka @maxskulline and @skulldxddy) that may seem border shippy, true ship with her is fairly difficult. Its honestly at a point where like.. Rosie really doesn't want to always be the first one to be chasing the other, she isnt too crazy about one sided pinning because noe shes an older lady, so for now those may be the only ships I got going on now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In her own canon, ships that occur are mainly with:

- Kasimir( now an ex-husband)

- Rocky( verse dependent, but deceased in main canon.),
