"How oblivious is she?!

I've known Elaine for 15 years now. The first time I met her I paid her no mind, I mean, she was Vale's sister, but now I'm doomed!"I rant to Madonna.

Madonna just rolls her eyes and then goes back to reading her book.

"Well, I can see why Elaine is avoiding you. You're a damned idiot."

Xavier scoffs. " Well, I have to tell her somehow, it's getting annoying."

"I got an idea! I'm going to get her paint." Xavier says as Madonna giggles and goes back to her book.

The next day...

"WhY ArE ThEy AvOiDInG mE?!" Elaine cries to Madonna. Madonna slaps her forehead and groans while Elaine bangs her head against the table.

Suddenly Elaine stands up, slamming her palms against the table, stars shining in her eyes.

"IM GONNA GIVE HER A NEW SWORD!!"

Madonna gives her a deadpan look.

The next day again...

Madonna talks to Vale about the pathetic situation between his sister and his guard.

Vale started to pity them, how could he not? They are idiots in love. Vale and Madonna decide to write letters to Elaine and Xavier for the two of them to meet up before Vales spar with Xavier.

It's been about three days since Xavier talked to Madonna. They had bought the gift but he had no idea how to give it to her. He was thinking and he was thinking hard.

Well, she couldn't think for long since Vale barged into their room " Don't forget that we have a spar tomorrow." Vale says as he places the letter on the cabinet.

Elaine wasn't much better. She had worried that he wouldn't like the sword. She didn't know if they had a new sword and she would end up looking silly to them.

She decided to go to the garden, maybe she just needed to get a breath of fresh air-

"Elaine, there you are" she turns around to see Madonna walking up to her. "Xavier wanted me to give you this." Madonna gave Elaine a letter and before she could react Madonna walked away from her.

When she opened the letter she saw a sweet note saying that Xavier wanted to meet before the spar. Elaine happily walked to her room.

The day of the spar...

Xavier walked to the place where the letter had said. He was feeling about as much excitement as stress, it's like they dreaded this moment but at the same time, they were eager to meet with Elaine.

Elaine was running late. A sense of worry went through Xavier, did she chicken out? Did she just forget? 'Ah forget it.' They thought to themselves. She was about to leave until-

"Xavier wait-!" She heard a voice running towards them. he turns around to see Elaine sprinting toward him. "I'M VERY SORRY I'M LATE. I WAS TRYING TO FIND MY GIFT AND I WAS PANICKING ABOUT IT-" She continued to apologize to me. When she calmed down I started to speak.

"It's fine Elaine, here I got you something." Xavier gave Elaine the paint.

"Is it-" " It's paint. I got it for you since I know you use lots of it."

"And I got you- um- ah- uhm-"Elaine says. Before I can reply she abruptly speaks "Nothing! It's nothing, well good luck with your spar! " Then Elaine hurries off.

Before Xavier can enter the training grounds, Elaine runs up to her." Xavier, I got you something!" She gave him the sword, a new one " Where did you get this?" Xavier speaks with a surprised tone of voice "Oh I asked Vale to get me a sword, I wanted to get you a new one since the last one broke, I hope you like it!" Elaine declared.

Xavier was flustered but he couldn't do anything about it since Vale was already waiting for her.

1 hour later...

Xavier was wrecked. He was lost in thought during that spar thinking about the gift that Elaine gave her which Vale noticed.

He went to get some water after the match meeting Elaine on the way. "Oh hi, Xavier! How did the spar go?" Elaine questions." It went fine, I liked how the sword is easier to wield, and thank you, I truly love it."Xavier says.

Vale and Madonna sat and looked at the two love birds. "I guess we are the wingmen," Vale declares. Madonna scoffs and continues to drink her tea.

I have an exam tomorrow and I don't feel ready at all. The good news is, if I fail it's not that bad because it's just a middle exam to let us breathe a little more for the finals, but at the same time GNNNNHH

I really hope I can manage to pass it just to have something less to worry about
