ANYWAYS!!! Guess who recently finished the EVA franchise minus the rebuilds and has been in a horrible chokehold over it, this anime ruined my life but hey at least its intro theme is nice……

Well, I wanted to draw some stuff for it! All together these pieces took exactly 48 hours and 20 minutes… with the cover-piece taking ~35(?) of those hours. These were… very, VERY time costly safe to say LOL,,, I am super, SUPER proud of how the cover came out though, everything on it was drawn, colored, rendered, edited, whatever, BY HAND stroke by stroke (as you can see below)

The text, the lineart, the shadows, the colors, the snowflakes on the bio and Shuri, EVERYTHING was done by hand, it was horribly time costly but it did come out very, VERY well in the end I would say (fun fact! I also didn’t originally have the textless version of the cover, and I had to trace all of the lineart for bio’s tophalf by just guessing what line when where and what the hell was going on /silly)

this was a very, very hard project to do all together, but it was also a really nice learning experience too, I’m happy i did it that’s for sure :3!

I let down the people I love. You know, I let Dad down, and now I guess, I'm just supposed to let you down, too. How can I? How am I supposed to live with that? What am I supposed to do? Sammy? What am I supposed to do? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!"

Bobby comes in, offering Dean food and carefully suggesting it's time to bury Sam's body. He vehemently refuses. Even when Bobby tells Dean the world is ending Dean just tells him “..let it end!” because for Dean it already had. Bobby is hesitant to leave Dean there, alone with the body, but Dean is insistent.

Dean sits alone with the body. Moving closer to it to speak with it, as if Sam can hear him, as if he's in there somewhere still.

He is totally incapable of accepting that Sam is dead. That his baby brother, his Sammy, is gone. Still raw with the grief of losing his Dad he cannot accept that Sam is lost to him.

Do you think in the two days he spent with his brother's body that he reached out to touch it. That he cradled Sam’s head in his hands and felt the coolness of the once warm skin. What would a man do who had reached the fraying edges of his ability to process grief..

WAITTTTTT Now that I think about it, it isnt just Malleus who's re-enacting a similar situation as Meleanor during the present time (aka they're the powerful mage who uses their magic to "terrorize people" but actually just trying to protect the people they value), but its also Silver re-enacting as Knight of Dawn--!!! and no i dont mean when Silver finally battles against Malleus, i mean right now during this dream hopping arc, where the humans (STYX and all the NRC students) are using his magic to take down Malleus, much like how the Silver Owls exploited Dawn's magical prowess to kill Meleanor 💀✨

there is a Certain Trans Woman Reviewer who consistently has ire directed towards her and who also has faced some pretty serious allegations and while I want to say I'm not disputing either those allegations or criticisms I am like...more than a little put off and suspicious of peoples intense hyperfocus on her. especially considering how small of a role she generally plays outside of this kinda niche cartoon community. I'm positive that the focus that is coming from people who otherwise don't care about children's cartoon criticisms is entirely based in the lolcow style fixation on trans women and it raises red flags for me when I see queer people equally invested in her "downfall". I hope its clear that I don't want to dispute or disrespect anything serious, its more that this is very transparently part of a larger trend of turning trans women into spectacles and using their alleged misdeeds as justification. I think people should genuinely interrogate why they are so hyperfixated and invested in her specifically and why they are so satisfied seeing her fall from grace.
