Nikolai took off his eye patch and then held fyodor's bloody arm really close to his face and in the next panel it looks like he pressed it against his face

And when fyodor possessed the guard it was because his blood got into the guard's eye

And the way it fell on his eye looks like Nikolai's eye scar and its on the same eye too

And after that nikolai vanished

It reallyy looks like foreshadowing

I think asagiri only made chuuya appear more and keep saying fyodor really died as a distraction

Also from the looks of it nikolai is about to get character development or at least get a bigger role which makes it even more possible

whats getting me about the animation of 109 is like. theres so little room for interpretation now. in the manga last month dazai got some final words after he was shot, he continued to physically react even after being hit point blank, it wasn't clear whether he really died or was just faking it. in the anime though? there's little room for interpretation. no final words, no physical reaction to the extra shots, he just gets hit point blank and falls down limp. that's VERY LITTLE WIGGLE ROOM FOR A FAKE OUT DEATH. I'M SCARED GUYS. IT FEELS. BUNGOVER.
