Recently I read Transformers: Skybound FINALLy!!! it was fantastic, cant wait for the next issue

Highly recommend reading it tho, its a greattt comic and has super awesome art

Everyone's already talked about this but wow Optimus is portrayed so well!!! I love the dialogue when he describes Cybertron. Also love the pink backgrounds i some panels!! Anyway the interaction with him and Spike feels good and authentic. nice

The fight scenes. SO good to me, I think the art is super dynamic and the way the sound effects are written give great impact. The artist knew what they were doing for sure. I love how they use the comic media to its fullest. With those different shaped slanted box panels, and the smear lines when somethings moving fast idk

I also looove the shading in these comics!! and the linework like on their faces really helps the atmosphere. once again i love the sound effects (especially that big TONG) when starscream gets hit lol it just looks like all the fonts were designed or drawn by the artists yk?? and the variety of camera angles throughout is cool too.

Also love the relationship between optimus and the humans. It feels... better than how other transformers media has handled it (imo). I think its sweet

again great comic art the lighting.. the EVERYTHING idk i just admire this artist a lot (i think his name is daniel warren johnson, although it switches to Jorge Corona later) one thing i love in particular is how the lines are like... a little messy and sometimes a little all over the place-to depict their wear and grime. cool!

Next. Cant talk about skybound without talkingabout THE DECEPTICONS. oh my god. starscream is a spawn of hell. what a bitch. like actually he might be at his worst here hes so diabolical. Anyway even though hes very evil hes still enjoyable to watch because its just idk pure villain. Soundwaves care for his cassettes is sweet as usual. PUNTING Ravage is crazy. cannibalizing Skywarp is crazy. FGELP IDEK WHAT TO SAY except i like the art a lot here as usual its great very comic-y again. SOundwave stays a favorite character.

THIS is an iconic and great moment of skybound, i love it, i lvoe that optimus is willing to use this cannon to further the battle yk also looks badass

Gotta say these are two of my favorite pages throughout the whole series. Love the color and camera angles.

Hello Everyone :D

I have come here to make an announcement!

I've come here to announce that I am working on a solo horror project; More specifically I am making a horror comic/short YouTube video around Generation Loss!

I never talked about it here (( tho some people who follow me on twitter might know what im talking about )) so I decided to tell you guys :D

A little about the Project: An old Tape recording of a rather particular Game Show was found. The tape is only titled "Ranboo's Game Show"; The Recording Is of a game show and Its host, Ranboo, just going and playing these minigames with a really...odd audience. The recording seems fine but something about it..just seems...off.

I want it to have VHS and spooky effects, as well as jumpscares and such.

Also I want it to have similar spooky vibes as The Walten Files and The Mandela Catalogs as well, though I cant be 100% sure I will be able to achieve this type of stuff.

Im doing it to train my horror aspects and stuff because I know Im not the best at it (( even though I love horror and stuff ))

In the current moment I have been researching on game shows and what specific minigame will be featured + how it works.

Im hoping to have a script/a written out idea of what will happen by the end/middle of next month since its all over the place still.

For now I have old REALLY BASIC storyboards from old ideas and the 1st desing for Ranboo in this project (( note: it may or may not change in the future ))

How will the Comic / The short YouTube vid work?

In a comic format, it will work like this:

You make your choice and go to a certain page/part to see what happens next

ex: If chosen B, go to part 3

As for a Youtube video, the best example of it would be "A heist with markiplier" kinda stuff.

In the final minutes, the choices will be shown as unlisted videos that you can click and watch to see what happens.

However the video option depends on two things: 1) If i find a good free editing software 2) If I learn how to edit + if it turns out good

But thats about all That I can say for now; I will keep you guys updated! If you guys could share your ideas in the tags or give me some support that would be epic!

Cause while yes, I am excited and determined to make this project and finish it, I also have a fear and doubt that people wont like it or/and feel dissapointed when it comes out; So any bit of support and stuff really helps me.

Meta question: how much do you prepare for this blog? Every year is an absolute treat, pun intended, but I find it impressively hard to tackle it all in one month like how you do it. Do you ever work on comic pages etc throughout the year?

Oh ho?~ A very meta question indeed! So you wish to know the secrets of this blog? Well keep reading to find out!

Ive actually been meaning to get to this question for a while now but literally hadnt had the time nor the right reaction image. But as to answer your question in full- Short answer: Yes! Long answer: Yes, but not well xD Long long answer: Generally speaking, as soon as this month is over, im already starting to plan out the next year, trying to get an idea of what I might do or where the story might go. I had actually planned on doing another 'big' story this year but of course life got in the way and I couldnt do it. Not to mention there were some other factors that also made that difficult, as there are certain events that need to happen in a certain order for those things to continue. And those parts have to come from another POV but thats a spoiler so I cant say much else about it. Tho if im able to get an idea and story planned out, I take the month of September to start working on that. For those that dont know, I do commissions as a source of income throughout the rest of the year, so that cuts into a lot of my time to make this a full time thing. I try to get all my work done by September and I take that time to strictly work on October content if I can help it. This is where the story or merch are mostly created- tho the merch is much more last minute as I dont always know what it is I want to draw |D; I have a lot of ideas honestly but not always the skills to pull that off. This year I had actually done a lot of the merch way before September- tho uh... I realized that after finishing all of this year's first "print" it would have been far too suggestive even in a SFW setting, so I had to quickly come up with another idea, which I did thankfully! But it was very much cutting it down to the wire! The first "print" and all its versions will be available on my Patreon. Some stories do just happen, like last year's, since thats when the pandemic hit along with many other things. An idea came to me so I was able to work with that, which then kind of accidentally gave me an idea of how to lead into more of the actual story. There are really two main factors that keep me from always having a story: 1) Time and 2)Backgrounds as I just REALLY DONT LIKE DOING THEM. I can draw the characters but if I have to do a new background I just cry inside xD; So yeah, im sure you didnt need to read all of that but I got excited to share some 'behind the scenes' stuff so there I went on rambling!

Which also means i take medication for it, which i forget a lot. And because of these things i have anxiety tics, where it ranges to making noices and twitching a bit to full on hitting myself and saying random shit. my gender is constantly changing, sometimes i have a hard time keeping up w it and a hard time telling what it is, my main gender is noenfluid tho ! right now i cant decipher what my gender is, i’ll let u know once i find out dkdj i love having a fluid gender tho cuz one day i can be a really dark xenogender and then i can be the opposite the next day. its as if my genders constantly on the move

i also havent decided on a set of pronouns yet since pronouns are way more confusing to figure out, with gender, i just know instantly what it is. i adore trying out different pronouns though and currently im just dropping my pronouns for now ! its so fun scrolling through tumblr or different neopronoun lists or even making up different neopronouns/nounpronouns :))

sometimes it can get difficult since i like having my pronouns, gender, aesthetic, lifestyle etc. all be aligned and all corelate so i tend to box myself (i think bc of my autism? or ocd?) in which makes it hard for me to figure it out added on with my insecurities, it gets hard. but im working on it everyday and each day i become more comfortable in my gender identity :)

ive also learnt that i figure things out at a slower pace so even tho my friends have already figured out who they are months ago, im gonna take my time ♡

love how nightbeat is pretty much agreeing with the decepticon ideology here, even if its clear that he isn't Actually a decepticon - it just drives home the fact that, in this story, The Decepticons Were Right About A Lot Of That Stuff (or at least, they had a reason other than ‘destruction’ for rebelling).

pre-war prowl is such an interesting character. actually prowl in general is such an interesting character...I kinda wrote him off during my first read of mtmte (and even a little during my second readthru) as just this dude who’s an asshole (espec bc my prev tf experience involved watching tfa as a kid, and this prowl is very different from tfa prowl lol)...but prowl is SUCH a multi-faceted and interesting character, even in the relatively little we see of him in mtmte 

plus it was interesting to learn later that prowl was one of the characters that jro wanted for mtmte and didn't get, and MAN i wish he got prowl bc I would've loved to see what jro would've done w/prowl on the lost light, that would've been amazing. like, just imagine the arc he would have...I have no idea what that arc would BE, but I know it would be awesome. plus I’d be really interested to see how prowl would factor in, relationships-wise, amongst the crew of the lost light. so much potential!

I love how like, its clear both of them are absolutely anxious and worried about others opinions on them, which is clearly something they got from being Firestar's grandkids, deputy kids and leader kids. And bramblestar too, I recall him being quite the anxious lad ahhah. Sparkpaw will be showing confidence and being loud but the second anyone isn't approving of her or she does something "wrong" she gets small and quiet, and she ended up setting a high bar for herself by being good at hunting and fighting so I'm curious to see how that will go. Also there's nothing wrong with being guided through a crowded place to meet others Sparkpaw!!! I bet the two of them would be stuck without not knowing how to talk to others had Needlepaw not shown up. I love them, my gf is mocking me saying I'm a Sparkpaw kinnie.

Apprentices will like learn about a thing and tell everyone about it all the time and assume its always true in every situation and thats valid I love kids like that. Also in my head Needlepaw kinda looks like a porcupine. Oh boo she's fatphobic >:(

Overall! Frigging loved it this book was GOOD and a great start for the series I am very excited to read the rest, SO WORRIED ABOUT SKYCLAN THO AAAA the characterizations were great the characters were great the pacing was fun and I didn't get bored once!

I think o only wish I had read this sooner really so I could look up others thoughts without getting heavily spoiled about the last books, I can watch a few videos already though thats a start ahhaha. But yeah it was great and it felt very good to read, haven't swallowed up a book so quickly in a very long time!!! Very happy I finally got my hands on this 💕💖💕💖💕💖 cant wait 2 start the next one
