correct me if im wrong but we don't see anyone else eat souls in soul eater besides soul himself and he eats that shit crazy so i like to imagine that hes the only one who eats them like that and everyone else is just like

"i need grumbo to be more insane about each other this season" this and "i need more scarian" that, well i think that perhaps scar and mumbo should be more insane about each other. maybe even have their own robot child or cactus ring together. how about that.

i think i remember a post made about this ages ago but i don't remember enough to find it, but one thing that i really love about star stable's story, and wish the writers leaned into, is that there's no winning for the soul riders.
the dark riders just want garnok to be freed. once he is, that's it. game over. jorvik is gone. maybe a future group can come together, maybe later down the line he can be contained again, but for all intents and purposes; jorvik's immediate destruction is basically guaranteed.
the most the soul riders can do is contain him. and hope that the next round of soul riders will be able to do it again, and again, and again. it feels so much like real life in a way that's both really sad and really uplifting. we can't kill the bad guy, and we never will. and people that want us gone forever can be held off, but that kind of insidiousness won't go away. it can't be killed. it's not like stories where you defeat the big evil wizard and now everyone is happy for ever. all you can do is try your best to hold it off this time, and hope that the people who come after you will do it again, and again, and again.

Do you think. That after Sanji asked Zoro to kill him. He took a moment wonder if, had Kuina lived to adulthood, at the end of their journey, would whoever killed Mihawk first have to fight the other to protect their title? Do you think the next time they fought after Sanji’s request, Kitetsu would cut just a little too close to Sanji’s throat, because her master was too preoccupied thinking, would I have been able to do it? Kill her, if it came to that? For my dream? and later when he’s carefully wiping Sanji’s blood off his blade, do you think, that maybe he would think- the dream was hers before it was mine. Would I have felt betrayed, then, if she killed me? Or proud? Pleased? Happy?
When Sanji interrupts his thoughts to say, what the hell has got you so distracted? Am I too boring for you to take seriously? do you think Zoro would glare at him in silence cause there’s no way for him to articulate that he’s never taken anything more seriously in his life.

but i did manage to draw these after many a week of drawing absolutely nothing
sorry for getting into spn in 2024. you jump in to your friends' watch party (in s6, in some of s6's worst episodes) for funsies and then three days later youre watching s1 "just to have something in the background." and then you watch spn for 20 days straight from start to finish. and then the tragic little gay people haunt you
