started off as me redrawing some of my initial mairon designs and ended up going on an rpg tangent 😭 i really wish i could have done the portraits in a pixel art style to better fit the aesthetic but my canvas wasnt the right size!!! i ended up changing annatar completely (im still contemplating how much i prefer this one compared to his old one however...!) and adjusting post-numenor sauron a bit when compared to their old 2022 sketches! im probably gonna do more redraws in the months to come cause of all the stuff i wanna change when i look back to some of my old designs haha 😳

i like to think each 'form' sauron takes eventually has different mannerisms and likes/dislikes the longer he stays in them without shapeshifting into something else, but one thing they all have in common is being predisposed to nagging melkor 😎

I realized that Maizuru, despite being with Kabru's party for a while, still gets Holm's race wrong.

At first I thought it was kind of the joke of the whole thing. Calling Marcille a frog woman, Holm a dwarf, and getting Rin's name wrong. Holm looks tired, annoyed or maybe a bit embarrassed by this mistake. He's the only one who's background is not "explosive". Marcille's and Rin's are, and his is just plain, dark, and with those lines at the bottom. Why? Maybe for comedical effect. Probably because he's been telling her he's a gnome before this. Just like Chilchuck doesn't like being called a kid and people still call him that, Holm doesn't like being called a dwarf and people keep calling that.

It's not uncommon for people to mix those races, and since Shuro's party isn't the best with races (they don't even know Chil's a half-foot) they probably just think Holm is a wierd-looking dwarf. They probably hadn't seen any gnomes before. If it was Maizuru's first time seeing a gnome and calling it a dwarf, it could be understandable. But she's been with kabru's party long enough to realize that that dwarf is, actually, a gnome.

I think she doesn't believe Holm is a gnome, just like Marcille or Senshi don't believe Chil's an adult.

That's the face of someone who's tired of this shit. It's like when someone tries to guess your country just by the way you look. There's maybe a bit of ignorance at first, but I think Maizuru is deliberately deciding to not believe Holm when he tells her he's a gnome for the first time. And he's so done.

The world feels like dragon age. Combat looks snappy and fun. The voices are beautiful. The music sounds amazing. Closeup facial animation looks a lil fucky. Solas and Rook and Harding and Neve look beautiful. Why is Varric's hair black. I'm very intrigued about the PCs origin. Idk but after the gameplay reveal it really feels like coming home to Thedas

continuing off of my last posts!!! s2, ep10 (gotta mention it bc ik some people don't find these in order, and also bc i like doing it teehee teehee) WE FINALLY GET TO SEE THE BOYS to my memory - think dean is learning how to drive here :3 but to be completely honest with you guys i think they just went "CAN WE GO PLAY WITH THE CAR" and brock went "fuck it go do whatever just be careful" and set up a course for them lelz

dean is so careful and hank is so excitable.. like calm down omg he was literally STRESSINGGGGG over them not going fast enough WITHIN the compound ( , ; - ;) but i DO think it's cute that he even stuck around to keep dean company in the car. most likely just because he wants to be with his brother, which is sweet. (also bc brock probs told them to stay together I KNOWWW but like cmon he also just likes being with dean)

pandora doing regulus makeup for cheerleading, like a smoky eyeshadow and a nude lipstick that makes regulus eyes pop out more and lily watching from the bleachers in her ugly band uniform, wanting so desperately to go up to him

see this is so cute and i can get behind it but…. my pandora thinks reg’s cheerleading is so lame unfortunately :/

all of the skittles do but they show up to support him anyway because they’re all codependent on each other and loyal to the bone even while disregarding each others boundaries on a regular basis (re: the skittles have a book club where they meet up every week to go through regs diary…)

also my pandora doesn’t use makeup!! it would make her appearance too different from evans and neither of them would ever want that. makeup doesn’t make any sense to her and she knows absolutely nothing about it. she’s the kind of girl who would look down on people getting plastic surgery because the idea of changing yourself is insane to her <- heavily connected to her needing to be as similar to evan as possible. <- doesn’t include gender affirming surgeries and both her and evan discuss at length if one of them should transition so that they’re the same gender. they’re so silly and their main character trait is their bone deep need to be the same person

anyway…. went off on a tangent sorry… but my reg is also most often masc!! so he doesn’t really see the appeal of makeup either i’m afraid :/ he likes the glitter and putting it on his face before cheer practice and what not but that’s as close to doing his makeup as he gets. my dyke reg looks and acts almost exactly like he always did except that there’s this calm vibe coming off of him now. something a little more free and content. instead of the aristocratic clothes he wears big shirts and big pants. maybe he grows his hair out a little longer than before… but other than that he looks the same mostly <3

however i love the idea of pandora throwing glitter at his face before cheer!!!! i think she would love that and i think reg would let her. he doesn’t really care about how it looks, just wants glitter on his face !! and i imagine lily seeing them and being SO jealous and upset and misunderstanding the whole situation…. SHE wants to be the one to throw glitter all over regulus .. and then lick it off even if its probably gross……
