A twist. A step. A leap.

Yzl’s fingers barely brush against the ground as she flings herself away from the enemy’s blade. The moment her palm touches the ground, she pushes herself upwards again.

A turn. A duck. A lean.

The blade gently brushes against her ear as she pulls her head to the side. A few white hairs flutter at the edge of her vision and into the dust kicked up around them. Her opponent puts so much force into the swing, he stumbles past her; gives her time to back away. But she doesn't stay away.

A jump. A stomp. A kick.

The blade spirals along the ground, slamming into the white wood walls of The Pit. Yzl steps across the man’s back and shoulders; he still tries to get up, lifting her up with him. Clicking her tongue, Yzl raises one leg before quickly slamming it back down again--right against his ribs. She tried not to break anything, but she was growing bored. She just wanted to be free of such a predictable fight, and luckily the man yielded.

A hop. A spin. A bow.

A hidden smile from The Boss, better than any hard won coin.

It's so inchresting since my work friends have gotten into this cool club with our manager they have been acting weird towards me. It's just so weird like they were just at my house eating up my food FOR FREE!! Its like at work they basically ignore me and treat me like I'm unhinged but outside work we're friends THE COGNITIVE DISSONANCE OF IT ALL.

I am being gaslit daily into thinking I'm crazy and unstable because I don't want to automatically subscribe to office culture especially for a boss that repeatedly lies on me. And get fed up on how I'm boxed out.
