I like all the different shades of white in this room accented with wood and different patterns. The tent pavilion is “interesting”, in that I’m a New Englander and can’t imagine seeing one in the Northeast. Kudos to the brave soul who decided to put all of these beautiful furnishings and antiques under a tent.

ID: When Isotta had returned to the pavilion, the tables were set out and food was prepared, and when water had been brought for their hands they sat down to eat. As they ate, Gariette looked out and saw Palamidesso going by looking for them, and pointed him out to Sir Tristano. Tristano got up and went to meet him, taking him by the hand and leading him into the pavilion, where he disarmed and sat at the table. They all passed that night in great joy.

Hii, I hope your request are still open. How are you today?

Can you write a fluffy where the reader and Mel go to a abbott party (they’re already a couple and everyone at abbott knows it) and they are just super soft with each other in front of everybody. Than Mel drinks a little too much, they go home and the reader has to make Melissa takes off her makeup and do her skin care before bed.

Drunk Melissa

“We’re staying long enough for me to down a margarita with Barb and that’s it we’re outta there.” Melissa waves her hand from the drivers seat. You can’t help but chuckle at her dramatics. You know she doesn’t like being around the group, but you promised Janine you’d be there.

“It’s gonna be fine, Mel. Especially if you’re gonna be on the grill and I’m bringing you drinks.” You beam.

When you pull up to park Janine booked a pavilion at you hop out of the truck grabbing the drinks you brought from the backseat and pull a reluctant Melissa along.

“Melissa, y/n!”

“Hey, Janine.” You smile at the woman spotting Gregory with Jacob and Zach. Barbara walks over briskly with two sugar rimmed drinks in hand.

“Thank god you two are here.” She says quietly handing a drink to Melissa.

You laugh resting your hand on the small of your girlfriends back.

“Y/n, Melissa, come play against us!” Jacob calls out tossing a bean bag across the lawn to the other board.

You can’t say no to kicking jacobs ass at a fun lawn game.

“Ha! C’mon, babe. we can knock them out in a few tosses.”

Melissa grins, with her drink in hand she follows you out to the Cornhole boards standing next to Gregory on the opposite end.

“Alright, kid, make this fast I have to get on the grill.” She gestures for Jacob to take his turn before sipping her drink.

When Jacob tosses the first back he misses miserably, the bag landing right in front of the board.

Picking up your bag you you take a step forward and and wind back letting the bag go. You watch it fly through the air and when it lands right in the hole you whoop and jump.

“You challenged the wrong girl, Hill.” Melissa jokes from the other end of the boards.

Tipping your chin up you blow her a kiss before you get ready to toss again. Much to Jacob and Gregory’s chagrin, you and Melissa shut them out in Just a few tosses.

As the evening goes on everyone’s seated under the pavilion, and Melissa is a few drinks deep with Barbara. You think she’s had three which means as you sit next to her she can’t keep her hands off of you.

One hand is playing with your hair while her other arm is wrapped around your waist. “You’re so pretty, mia cara.” She whispers into your ear. You loved when she got tipsy and spoke in Italian.

You turn your head to kiss her temple with a little laugh.

“Awww.” You hear Janine gush. When you look over you see Barbara and the younger woman smiling at you both.

“You’re both seeing drunk Mel where she gets all nice, soft and touchy.” You explain with a laugh.

“I don’t know how I feel about seeing Melissa like this.” Gregory says nervously.

With that Barbara hands her another drink. How the woman seemed completely sober still was beyond you.

By the end of the evening while everyone’s saying goodbye the red head gives everyone a hug.

“Barb! Are we still doing brunch tomorrow?” She asks clinging to her best friend.

“Yes we are,” she laughs patting her back, “y/n you need to get this girl home.”

You smile grabbing yours and Melissa’s purses. “Mel, I think we should get going.”

“Oh okay.” She nods, giving you a thumbs up and coming to your side. You laugh when she reaches down and pats your butt.

“Alright, we’ll see you next week guys.” You wave as you two walk off. Even in Melissa’s truck she can’t get close enough to you. When you get home, you help your love out of the truck.

“It’s so high up!” She giggles taking your hands to get out.

“Cmon, baby. Let’s get in and get comfy.” You beam getting your key out. Melissa keeps her arms wrapped around you the entire way inside and up the stairs. It’s hardly 8 o’clock but you know as soon as you two hit the couch she’s gonna doze off on you.

Up in the bathroom Melissa hops onto the counter looking at you with a dopey smile while you get the makeup remover wipes.

“You’re takin care of me.” She hums resting her hands on your hips.

When she gets drunkenly going like this, you can’t do anything but smile. “Of course I am,” You carefully start with her eye makeup admiring the smile lines by her eyes as you remove the shadow. You get to her eyeliner and let out a little laugh when she reaches up booping your nose.

“You’re beautiful, hon.”

“I was just thinking the same thing about you.” You gush. “Your smile lines, your freckles, your lips. All of you.”

Melissa ducks her head with flushed cheeks wrapping her arms around your waist and practically slumping into you.

“I love you, Mel.” You whisper rubbing her back. “Let’s get you to bed.”

So imagine nico and will have been together for a few years, nicos around 18 and wills like 19 or something and he's been at university for a year or so and recently nico been noticing some strange behaviour when they talk over IM/Phone at first he brushes it off as the stress of studying and a long distance relationship but after awhile he starts to get suspicious so next time will gets cagey and end their call early because he's "tired" and needs to get some "studying" in before he goes to bed. nico waits 10 minutes before shadow traveling into wills dorm and surprise surprise what does he see? Will fucking someone else.

The guy wills with spots him first and freaks out like "Who the fuck are you? You creep!"

"Me?" nico points at himself eyebrow raised "until just this second I was his boyfriend of 4 years. Who the fuck are you?"

Of course will starts panicking

"it's not what it looks like, it's not what it looks like, I can explain"

The side piece is pissed "YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND?"

Nico is not amused "not anymore he doesn't" he drawl deadpan with a hint of something dangerous

Anyway it's a big mess and nico dumps his ass and goes back to camp of course the seven and reyna want to kill will. percy and jason are especially angry and ready to destroy him but nico, nico is calm and collected weirdly so.... Suspiciously so,

Now nico is a son of Hades of course he hasn't forgiven will and of course he's not gonna let him get away with this but he's got a plan he knows exactly how to get back at will

So when nico looks at his friends sat around him discussing their rather imaginative plans to... Dispose of will and says "no. you're not going to do anything to will I know exactly what I'm gonna do" when multiple whats? Are chorused back at him he smirks sharp and dangerous a glint in his eyes a little to similar to his fathers "I'm gonna fuck his dad" he drawl slow and confident "well I guess it'd be his dad fucking me but you get what I mean" he flicks his wrist nonchalantly.

Now the last few years have been good to nico having a somewhat safe place to live, eating regularly, sleeping properly and not spending as much time in the underworld have done wonders, he's healthy and to put it simply he's hot! He's grown some he's still skinny but in a toned healthy way he's still pale but his natural olive undertones are back he's a real Italian beauty and in the last year or so people have been more jealous of will than they have of nico

So none of them doudt he could when he says he's going to sleep with apollo but it is a shock to hear, percy bless him chokes on his drink and nearly dies, annabeth seems like she already knew what he was going to say and is to busy patting percy back to give much more of a reaction, jason falls backwards like he was hit, piper and leo are just fucking cackling, Hazel looks horrified but reyna looks vaguely proud a little smirk pulling at the side of her mouth.

And that's that he's decided he's going to have sex with apollo.

Months later when wills arrives back at camp for summer brake he spends hours looking around camp for nico before he plucks up the courage to approach the seven (reyna, Hazel and Frank came to visit just to witness the figurative murder about to happen) and asks if they knew where nico was he almost pisses his pants from the looks alone and fears they might have killed him if a yellow Maserati hadn't chose that exact moment to barrel out of the sky an park outside of the dining pavilion

"dad? What's he doing here?" will mutters as apollo steps out and round the car before opening the passenger door and no no no this can't be happening will thinks to himself almost hysterically staring wide eyed as none other than Nico Di Angelo steps out looking deliciously sex mussed, hair ruffled, lips kiss swollen and so so red and pretty, hickeys lining his neck there's no mistaking what he's been up to especially when after closing the door apollo has nico pressed between the car and his body leaning down to pull him into an absolutely sinful kiss that goes on way longer than is appropriate for such a puplic setting not that nico or anyone other than will really seems to care

Then apollos pulling back and making his way to the drivers side calling out "see you later angel" with a wink before getting in and driving off leaving nico to make his way towards will no no not will... nico bushes past him without even sparing him a single glance will turns to watch as nico situats himself at the table between percy and jason and jump right into a conversation like nothing happend and will is starting to realise as he glances around that no one seems to be reacting to what just happened other and some campers sending him some sneering smirks that is, which... Which means... This.. This isn't the first time something like this has happened is it?

He must look like an idiot standing there gaping at nico but he can't help it he had assumed those moths ago when no pissed off member of the seven turned up on his door step ready to kill him that nico had asked them to leave him alone that he must have still loved him and that there was a chance he'd take him back if he apologised enough obviously he was wrong

When nico finally looks at him says "can we help you?" .. "actually never mind I don't care, go" flicking his wrist in a shooing motion casually with an air of disinterest

Will thinks this may be worse than if nico had just let his friends have their way with him which thinking about it was probably the point......

Osborne House

Hi guys!!

I'm sharing Osborne House . This is the 11th building for my English Collection.

This was also a request from one of my patreons, so I hope it does not desapoint.

History of the house: In 1843 Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were looking for a seaside retreat for their growing family to escape the pressures of London and Windsor. The Osborne estate, then owned by Lady Isabella Blachford, was recommended to them by the Prime Minister, Sir Robert Peel (1788–1850).

The estate was initially leased, then bought in May 1845 for £28,000. As the existing house was too small, an extension was required. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert did not want to be restricted by the Department of Woods and Forests, which was then in charge of all government building, so Prince Albert bypassed the department’s architects. Instead he commissioned Thomas Cubitt (1788–1855), the master builder and developer of much of the Duke of Westminster’s Belgravia estate in London, to advise him.

Cubitt recommended that rather than alter the old house it would be best to build a new one, and proceeded to design it in collaboration with Prince Albert.

OSBORNE TAKES SHAPE

The first phase of building was completed in 1846 with the Pavilion, housing the private rooms of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the royal nurseries. The household wing, containing accommodation for members of the royal household who accompanied Queen Victoria to Osborne, was completed in 1848.

After the old house was demolished in 1848, the main wing, completed in 1851, was built on its site, and was linked by a long corridor to the household wing. The main wing was used initially by the royal children. The terraces on the north-east side of the Pavilion and main wing were designed to complement the house and are filled with the signature features of classical Italian gardens.

Neighbouring Barton Manor was thoroughly ‘restored’ by Cubitt and its outbuildings were organised as a model farm. Other building projects included estate cottages and lodges, a dormitory for male servants, and a landing house for the coastguard, with a sea wall along the coastal edge of the estate.

This house fits a 64x64 lot and was downsized to fit, so it lost some of its glamour.

It is not furnished except for the state rooms and some private bedrooms (for pictures and reference), as it was requested for that purpose.

Just read your gazebo tags and I'm now very desperate for this story it's just! Such a fun concept!

The wiki entry for gazebos says they're related to "pavilions, kiosks, alhambras, belvederes, follies, gloriettes, pergolas, and rotundas" plus possibly the holhuashis in the Maldives, which leads me to think that various guild members.....maybe went a little overboard with the taxonomy. I mean, it was the 19th century! Everybody was naming butterflies or measuring skull shape or pinning Amazonian beetles---you can hardly blame the zeeb-keepers for getting into the spirit.

Even today, the international conferences can get very dicey when it comes to such things---back in '97, the Italians got very offended by a Turkish keeper, who tried to insist that a kiosk and a pergola were functionally the same breed. Thankfully, only 9 people died. (17 if you count the unfortunate waitstaff.)

I'll also note that the American Association of Canopy Keepers (AACK) has been having a very polite, extremely chilly fight with the British Association for Rotundas & Follies (BARF) practically since the American gazebo was recognized as its own distinct breed. The Brits continue to insist that there's no meaningful difference between the 17th century garden houses at Montacute, and the American summer house at Mount Vernon; the Americans, meanwhile, insist that the Brits simply do not know what they're talking about, and come back once you've invented something as nourishing and enriching as the barbershop quartet.
