Watched the RWBY x Justice League crossover with my wife and ngl it wasn’t bad! At least for the RWBY fans. I can see this being not the best for JL fans

But the RWBY content we got from the characters was honestly really nice to see! It felt like a sorta breath of fresh air after V8 and V9 destroyed me psychologically and physically

Basically it’s a good movie if u wanna see somethin stupid. U really gotta just let things happen as they happen, and accept whatever’s goin on as fact. A lot of nodding along n just rollin with the insanity.

I will say the best part for me? The fight scenes oh they were ALL bangers, loved each and every one of em.

j2 divorce v1 was unmatched. the fact that it started with the news of the prequel and everyone pissed over john and mary’s “beautiful love story” only to devolve into jared padalecki having a full blown meltdown on twitter.com that very night. absolutely insane turnaround in terms of dash vibes. no one knew what to do we were checking for updates like a frantic intern at a news station during a national crisis. no one knew what was gonna happen next the tweets just kept coming. he called robbie a coward and then deleted it but not before we all screenshotted it. misha collins tweeted “love and miss you both” and everyone replied “who are you again?” and he hung his head and said “the ass leaker” before shutting up. eric kripke and jensen ackles had to tweet the next day about how they all had a good long chat and everything is good a la your parents sitting the kids down after they overheard the knockdown drag out fight they had in the other room and saying “we’re not getting a divorce sweetie, your dad and i are okay we promise” and some fans (j2 stans) tearfully nodded their heads and went to play trains while others sighed in frustration and mumbled “why can’t you just leave each other already” before skulking out of the room. misha collins filmed himself in a bathtub outside for attention.

The dim light of Aventurine's private quarters cast an amber glow over the room, reflecting off the myriad of trinkets and luxurious odds and ends that adorned the shelves. He lounged in his chair as always, legs crossed, head tilted, a half-empty glass of brandy in his hand. The smile that graced his lips was one you knew well—practiced, confident, and sharp. A mask.

“You’ve been unusually quiet tonight, darling,” he said, his voice lilting with feigned amusement. “Planning something, or is the weight of my brilliance just too much to handle?”

You folded your arms, standing in the center of the room. “Kakavasha.”

The sound of his real name stopped him mid-sip. The glass hovered inches from his lips, his eyes narrowing like a predator caught off guard. The room seemed to still, the silence so heavy it was deafening.

“What did you just say?” he asked, his tone sharper now, defensive.

“Kakavasha,” you repeated, softer this time, stepping closer to him. “Your name. Not Aventurine. Not the persona you wear for the world. I’m speaking to you—the person behind all of this.”

His smile wavered, a crack forming in the facade. For a moment, he looked at you as if you’d struck him, as though hearing that name from your lips was a wound he hadn’t prepared to guard against.

“Don’t,” he whispered, setting his glass down with a trembling hand. “Don’t say it like that.”

“Like what?”

“Like it means something,” he hissed, standing abruptly. His movements were quick, defensive, his hands curling into fists. “That name—that name belongs to someone who should’ve died years ago.”

You didn’t flinch. You didn’t step back. Instead, you moved closer, your hands reaching out to gently touch his face. He recoiled slightly at first, but you persisted, cupping his cheeks with a tenderness that shattered whatever defenses he had left.

“Kakavasha,” you said again, and this time, it broke him.

A sob tore through him before he could stop it, raw and guttural. He sank to his knees, his arms wrapping around your waist as if holding on for dear life. His head pressed against your stomach, and his body shook with the force of his crying.

“I—I can’t,” he choked out, the words barely audible between sobs. “I don’t deserve this. I don’t deserve you.”

You knelt down, your hands cradling his face as you forced him to look at you. Tears streaked down his cheeks, and his eyes were wide, glassy, and vulnerable in a way you’d never seen before.

“Listen to me,” you said firmly, though your voice was laced with emotion. “You are Kakavasha. You are not the sum of your mistakes, and you are not the monster you think you are. You’re a person—a person who has been through hell and back, but you are not unworthy of love.”

He shook his head, more tears spilling over. “I don’t know how to—”

“You don’t have to know,” you interrupted, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead. “You just have to let me love you. That’s all.”

His sobs quieted as your words sank in, his breathing ragged but slowing. You kissed his cheeks, his nose, his lips, each kiss gentle and patient, as though you were mending the broken pieces of him with your touch.

For a long while, he simply stayed there, his head resting against your chest as you held him. When he finally spoke, his voice was barely a whisper.

“I didn’t think… I didn’t think it was possible to feel like this.”

You smiled softly, brushing a strand of hair from his face. “You deserve this, Kakavasha. You deserve to be happy.”

The name lingered in the air, not as a weight but as a promise. Kakavasha—the man who had survived the desert, the betrayals, and the crushing loneliness—was still here. And for the first time, he allowed himself to believe that he could be loved.

The road to healing wasn’t easy. Aventurine—no, Kakavasha—was a man accustomed to wearing masks, to hiding behind his sharp wit and dazzling charisma. There were nights when his fears got the better of him, when he pulled away, scared of the vulnerability that came with being loved.

But you were patient.

You were there to steady him when he stumbled, to remind him that he didn’t have to face his demons alone. Slowly, he began to open up, sharing pieces of himself that he had long buried. His laughter became more genuine, his smiles less calculated.

And one day, as he watched you reading on the couch, bathed in the golden glow of the evening light, he realized that he no longer feared losing you. Instead, he felt a quiet determination—a promise to himself that he would protect this love with everything he had.

Because for the first time in his life, Kakavasha understood what it meant to be truly alive.

Borrower Stan AU Ideas

Soooo... A while back I talked about wanting to find a Borrower Crossover with Gravity Falls where one of the bros was turned into a borrower.

I had some ideas. So I'm gonna post them for folks to use, mostly with Stan falling face-first into Borrower-fication and ending up in Ford's care.

Starting with some general things.

Stan gets kidnapped/cursed while on the road and turned into a “borrower”. He is now small enough to fit in someone's hands and has mouse features. He is terrified because everything is so much bigger than him now.

He will never take his normal height for granted again.

After “moving in” with Ford, Stan gets a fancy dollhouse of some kind, or even just one of those things to make little model rooms, and turns it into his bedroom/private space. May start as a single room, then later gets the house so he can have more space that won’t risk any accidental injuries while he’s tiny.

He’s attached to it even after he gets turned back to normal. Possibly picks up dollhouse making as a hobby? They are surprisingly intricate and that turns out to be a little bit fun to get into.

Also, Shermie is the one with Stan’s car. It didn’t get wrecked or whatever. He got the call and picked up the car bc Stan was his brother. Their dad had been awful to him, but that didn’t mean they should just let it be lost. That they should brush him under the rug and pretend he was never there.

He planned to talk Ford into taking it so that he would have a car again but keeps forgetting to bring it up since it’s usually their Mom who calls them all.

That, or he has told Ford and now the whole family is quietly freaking out bc WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM?? Why is all his stuff still there? Why does it look like he was living out of it??

Now for the actual starting points, bc I had 3 of them.

Stan getting to Ford V1- Is This Yours?

Illegal Pet Trade is def a thing and possibly what they were planning to do with Stan after turning him Tiny.

They kept him with a natural borrower for a few months. Borrower tried, desperately, to teach him as much as they could before the “unnatural cold” made by their captors took him away. (Deeply hoping and praying that they could teach enough for him to escape and survive.)

Magic crime ring responsible either gets busted and all the turned-borrowers are rescued and slowly returned to their families. With Stan being delivered to Ford while still in hibernation by one of the witches.

(Used magic to find the relations and scope them out for safety before actually handing over the victims. Don't want to leave them in dangerous places by just assuming the family would care. Some families, though well-meaning, turn worse when faced with supernatural stuff.)

Ford gets the box Stan is in, reeling because that's his brother in there! Small and vulnerable and he almost ended up in the hands of people who would have treated him as little more than an exotic pet for them to brag about.

(There is a horrific lurching in his stomach at the thought.)

He is also given the witch's home phone number when he declares that he’s going to find a way to fix it. Telling him “If you figure out a way to undo that magic, I will pay you in solid gold for it. Literally.”

He then sets to carefully wake Stanley to try and get as much information as possible out of his brother in hopes of reversing the magic/curse. (Without hurting Stanley either.)

Their rocky relationship does get brought up, Stan’s self-wroth issues get brought up, and a shocking amount of baggage (and then comfort) get addressed in the interim.

Stan Getting to Ford V2- Delivery for the Science Man!

Ford, while talking to someone/thing in the forest, learns about tiny people who refer to themselves as “Borrowers” who often live in the walls of normal human homes/towns. Endlessly curious about such things, he asks for more info.

He’s told that they’re (overall) just very small humans, though they share some stuff with mice and small rodents. Some are even able to hibernate over winter. The, let’s say fairy, explains that Borrowers are really hard to find by people like Ford, despite their proximity, because they’re terrified of big people like him. “They’re tiny and honestly pretty frail. It would be easy for someone like you to crush them in your hands if you weren’t careful.”

He asks if there would be one in his house and gets told “Probably not. Your house is too new and the walls are a little on the thin side. They usually live in older houses with thicker walls and floors.”

He is disappointed by that info, but then the fairy tells him that they’ll keep an eye out and see if they can help him by coaxing one into letting him talk to them.

A While Later, just long enough for Ford to have put the idea out of his mind, the fairy leaves a package at his door with a note saying something along the lines of “told you I’d come through��.

He brings the box inside, because Um? What? And opens it to find Stan inside. Deep in a mouse coma and probably not able to wake up until Ford can raise his body temp enough so it doesn’t think winter is setting in anymore.

On Stan’s side, he got made mousy a while ago (maybe a year or two? Possibly three if I wanted to really stretch it) and got sort of adopted by an Outside Family (Borrowers who live Outside) who took it upon themselves to teach him how to survive. They kinda just- looked at this clueless man and went “Oh, oh you are going to die if someone doesn’t help you soon.” And then they did that.

He stayed with them for about a year before getting separated while they were moving north. So he is without his help when he ends up in the Gravity Falls area.

Was kind of rescued by the fairy, who clocked the family resemblance and told him “Oh, cool. I know a place you can stay. New place in town and the guys is such a scatterbrain. He totally won’t notice you there. Plus it’s so much safer than running around in these woods if you’re not magic.” Then used magic to send him into a mouse coma (possibly by claiming it was safer than trying to fly him around themself while he was awake), packed him in a magic box to keep his temp down, then dropped him in front of Ford’s place.

Neither of them is ready for this to be their reintroduction to each other.

Stan getting to Ford V3- Oops Fidds Broke Up a Crime Ring

It starts with Fidd’s little Tater-tot overhearing some guys at the park talking about grabbing people for sale. Even hearing a tiny voice shrieking to be let go. He, being a good boy, races to tell his mom and his dad that there are bad people who are trying to hurt a bunch of mouse people.

Fidds is hesitant because Mouse People? That couldn’t be real. But his Tater-tot is insistent that someone is being hurt so he feels like he should at least do something to check. So he takes a couple of little robots he made and sends them off to grab evidence.

And they bring back evidence. A lot of it, actually. Which looks like stuff for some kind of illegal pet trade. Clearly whoever was doing this did not factor in robots to keep their secrets safe. He is very alarmed about it.

One of the pieces of evidence is a box that’s cool to the touch. That, according to some of the papers he now has, says that it’s keeping the “products” from being able to escape. A note about the cold sending them into hibernation.

And, inside that box, is a cage full of tiny mouse-people. One of whom bears a rather striking resemblance to his old college buddy. And a few others who look like children.

Many things can be said about Fiddleford McGucket, but standing idly by when children were in danger wasn’t one of them.

He proceeds to put the fear of GOD into the criminals before handing (slightly altered) versions of the records to the police.

Emma-May, as a mix of hobby and side income, likes making fancy dollhouses for people. Gets damn good commissions for them. A love she learned from her grandfather who left all of his dollhouse-making things to her after he passed away. She sets up the Borrowers in the VERY FANCY house that was passed down to her.

Some of them reveal/explain that they’re not supposed to be mouse-people, Borrowers is the term, but used to be homeless/drifters who were snatched up at some point. (Stan, reluctantly, admits to being one of those, and hoo boy does that give Fidds some Concerns.) Some of them say they can’t even remember how they were snatched, just waking up in a cage one day and suddenly being small enough to fit in someone’s hands.

They get stuck for a bit trying to figure out a way to turn the ones who weren’t born Borrowers back to normal, but help comes when Fidds remembers that Ford studied the strange and unusual and tiny people certainly fit that, right?

Ferryman, Gabriel and V1 love triangle that ends in a polycule

Where V1 fell in love with Ferryman because they're the only one apart from terminals to take them in and show kindness.

Ferryman is in love with Gabriel for saving them so long ago and giving them hope (like in cannon without the love part maybe)

And Gabriel falling in love with V1 for getting his shit rocked by them. Plus discovering he's got a masochism kink.

V1 decides to take a break from their decent trough Hell, and visit their beloved Ferryman who they don't remember what exactly happened with after they fought the Leviathan in Wrath.

Then find the Ferryman in one of the messed up houses praying to an altar to Gabriel, the ship is gone, since the incident with the Leviathan. And then approach the Ferryman with the same kindness that they were given.

They find some way how to communicate, sign language, writing, or whatever else, and strike a deal that V1 will guard and help the Ferryman while the ship is rebuilt, and they will in turn get a permanent residence in the new ship. (V1 didn't want to have a permanent spot, the Ferryman was just insistent)

Gabriel visits because he's been looking for the machine everywhere because they haven't been going down Hell like usual and wanted to ask Ferryman about them. And just finds V1 in Wrath helping the Ferryman rebuild their boat and retrieve anything from the bottom of the ocean.

By literally putting a hook and cord on V1, while the Ferryman stays at the top and fishes them out every time there's three light tugs at the cord. With Ferryman almost dropping the fishing rod once they saw Gabriel and the angel helping them fish out V1 who clung to the Ferryman with a somehow still intact artifact or statue, or book, but freeze as they see Gabriel.

They would have shot Gabriel square in the face if it wasn't for the Ferryman stopping them.

So basically, Ferryman is the only thing keeping V1 and Gabriel breaking out from another fight.

And all 3 decide to just rebuild the Ferryman's boat and remain civil.

Shenanigans undoubtedly ensure. Where they all learn they love things about eachother.

V1 loves how the Ferryman would let them climb over them and would teach them sculpting. Skeletal hands over metal ones ensuring the right amount of force was put on whatever little statue they were making as a bonding experience. And also loves seeing Gabriel just itch and seethe for a fight or to swing his swords again.

The Ferryman dare I say it, likes the attention and company the two provide while they fix their ship. And they're almost thankful that they lost the entire library full of hand written fanfics by themselves of them and Gabriel. That's one thing they're thankful for.

Gabriel loves how humble the Ferryman is about it all. "It was just a boat, nothing too serious." Taking time off from the ship building to make something for the two while V1 feeds off of Gabriel, since the Ferryman can't provide all much blood. And V1 as well for being so much more caring and careful with the Ferryman specifically. A close person to him. He's not jealous surprisingly, he's actually glad that they're treating the Ferryman so caringly.

I'll probably add to this post whenever I have the brain worms to work out more headcannons.

That managed to make Morty even more nervous. He knew that the stars could still poke through, even with the minimal light sources all around, but the knowledge of light pollution potentially getting in the way. It could almost ruin his plans. Maybe.

Or maybe he was overreacting to nothing.

Once his counterpart got in, he hurried in after. Sat down beside the other. This time things felt less closed in and a bit more comfortable. Perhaps because the Ferris Wheel's cart was roomier or maybe the photo booth prepared him well for this moment.

Either way, they were here and that's all that mattered to him.

The cart was lifting and the ride began to come to life. He only caught a glimpse of the scenery. The sunset just like a painting or something one would see in the movies. Orange and pink hues giving a comforting vibe. Though, his mind was elsewhere.

Up until now, he forgot about the drinks and snacks that they bought earlier at the store. Something that they decided to share while being on the ride. And he was just about to mention it and look through the bag.

Only when his counterpart's voice cut through the silence, he perked his head upwards. Staring into those hazel eyes. The sunset reflecting off of them, showing not only the brown within them, turning them golden, but the green as well.

Wow...

All sense of thought were gone. He couldn't tell where the conversation would be headed or what was about to happen. Those perfect eyes before him mesmerizing him in a way that he didn't know possible. So magical, beautiful, so....

The soft touch of lips on his own caused a little gasp to come out of him. His surprise melted away as he relaxed into the kiss. Both of his hands were quick to reach for the other's face, cupping those cheeks gently.

He didn't care about the shopping bag filled with their drinks and food. Not even about the sounds of bottled drinks rolling across the floor.

Nothing could ever bring him out of enjoying this kiss. Gentle, firm, and so very soft. It caused butterflies to swarm within his stomach. His chest filling with a fire that he didn't know existed.

For a moment, he thought about deepening the kiss. This was all he's been waiting for, what he'd been craving since he came to term with his feelings for his counterpart. Yet, he couldn't bring himself to. Nervous thoughts filled up his mind faster than he could realize.

As he pulled away from the kiss, he let out a few heavy breaths, foreheads pressed together. "I..... P- M-Morty.... I...."

It was so hard to say something, but he felt like he had to. He couldn't just leave it like this. In awkward silence and hope that his counterpart could guess how it made him feel. That's not how it worked.

"I... I-I, uh," Fuck it, maybe words weren't the right option. "I... kiss me again.... please."

Morty nodded in agreement at his other self’s words, managing to hold back the urge to swallow. He already knew that his nervousness would have prevented him from enjoying the sight, but that wouldn’t matter as long as his counterpart would have a good time.

“Y-Yeah, you can’t usually see them well b-because…you know. L-Light pollution and stuff,” he replied, hoping that his comment wouldn’t be taken in the wrong way. He wasn’t trying to sound like a know-it-all, he only wanted to fill the silence before it got too awkward. “B-But, uh, here there isn’t a lot of artificial light, s-so…it’ll be really pretty, yeah.”

Just as his counterpart would look prettier in the dim light of the stars, but that was a thought that he kept for himself. The last thing he needed now was more pressure and forcing out a compliment with obvious romantic implications would have lead to that.

Despite the anxiety constricting his chest, a little chuckle left his lips at the clumsy attempt at a bow. Geez, his counterpart should have no rights to be so cute, but he was and it made Morty’s heart beat a little faster.

He stepped inside the cart first, taking a seat on one of the benches and hurrying to pat the spot next to him. A silent invitation for the other to take it. He couldn’t have him sitting across from him. That would have made trying to kiss him even more awkward.

Soon enough, and perhaps too soon, the Ferris Wheel started to move, slowly bringing their cart further and further away from the ground. The lights of the stalls faded and so did the setting sun, leaving behind a trail of pink and orange shades that, however, were quickly swallowed by the night sky.

Morty allowed himself a moment to watch that show of colours, taking in a few steading breaths. Now or never. Do or die.

“Uh, h-hey, I wanted…There’s…” He started to stammer out, not knowing what he wanted to say, let alone how. “I-I…We’ve…Y-You’re a great friend an-and an even more amazing person an-and, uh, I…”

His voice trailed off. Why were words always so hard? What was clear was that he was going nowhere with his speech, so he had better act before he lost his courage.

“J-Just…if…D-Don’t hate me,” he breathed out, as quickly as he could, and the next moment he was gripping at his counterpart’s hand and leaning forward.

In hindsight, throwing himself on the other probably hadn’t been the best idea, but he managed, by some miracle, not to knock their foreheads together. Instead, his mouth ended up where he wanted, pressed against his counterpart’s in a chaste but firm kiss.

Morty’s eyes shut tightly as his heart pounded in his chest, excitement and fear of rejection mixing in his chest. Yet, he refused to acknowledge it, just as he ignored the way his palms were sweating and how dry his throat was.

All that mattered right now were the warmth of that body, so close to his own in a completely new way, and the softness of those lips.

PSA for All TS3 Players (and even TS4 players)

For the past few days I've been molding my ideal TS3 experience with essential quality of life mods, and one in particular has recently been deleted. As we all know, TS3 didn't ship with an official Open For Business type pack, they decided to put bits and pieces of one on the store, if you ask me, they're trying to pull the same idea with TS5 (Project Rene) - but I digress. Anyways, The one mod that gives you that Open For Business experience/functionality, Sim State - The Sims 3 Open For Business Mini Expansion v1.4, is GONE. I was devastated because it's the one mod I can't play without. Thankfully, Wayback Machine was able to capture a fully functional download page over on MTS. Please download this mod while you can! Even if you don't play TS3, but you might in the future - store it in a folder somewhere. There's no telling when or if the creator will upload it again.

Eh so I’m bored and just want to go a WR filled rant so I’m just going to go on another talk about Whiterose undoubtedly going to be Canon because of all the factors and potential and stuff we seen

So feel free to read and comment and do whatever in regards to this but but i will let you know that if you approach my post and be negative or a troll, just going to ignore ya

Anyways, let’s begin with the rant by starting off with the most obvious part: Patterns/Soulmates

Starting off with this part, it’s relatively simple idea to get across when I say… There is a literal pattern that shows how all Partner ships are going to be canon and why it makes sense they would be canon. Which one of the strongest pieces that prove this point being the whole pattern of opposites attract that balance each other out.

Something that can be greatly seen with Ships like Bumblebly, Arkos, and Rennora, All canon partner ships.

And this is something that can especially be with Whiterose and with how Ruby and Weiss are practical opposites since the beginning but they greatly balance each other and greatly understand each other better than anyone.

They are Fire and Ice, the warmth and the cold, now with Vacuo and what we see with Ruby/the schnee family, The Hero and the Villain.

However, despite their differences or how opposite they are, we see how Ruby and Weiss balance each other out.With Ruby’s warm personality balancing out Weiss cold personality or how Weiss fighting style helps to balance out and support Ruby’s fighting style

And we see how well that balance helps the other out… and happens when Ruby and Weiss are unable to balance the other out

But another fact we should take note when it comes to the whole pattern is how, so far, all canon partner ships all seem to be soulmates and that can be heavily supported by how the partner selection ceremony from V1 seems to be based on soulmates with the whole idea behind being that Partners selection are left up fate/destiny.

Literally thrown into a forest and are meant to run into someone and make eye contact with them for them to be your partner for coming years, something that literally can be drawn out and seen as a thing for soulmates/a soulmate concept (heck, the eye contact stuff with is something I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a lot of soulmate Au’s or stories use).

But ultimately there are other factors and things that make the whole pattern very obvious or some stuff that just just describe the pattern and the whole soulmate stuff, but honestly that’s just going to lead me to figuring some other stuff and then talking and ranting more and more and not talking about the other points

So moving on, let’s now talk about Potential

Starting off, let me just go ahead and say that this is probably going to be a short point I’m going to talk and that it is essentially me just saying that out of all the ships for Ruby or Weiss, Whiterose is the one ship that really only has the potential/has the greatest amount of potential to be canon.

Why? Well that’s very simple, incredibly simple actually

Ruby and Weiss are the two people who greatly need to talk to each other and greatly need a heart to heart moment in RWBY. They are both practically tied to each other arc’s now due to stuff that happened back in V8 and V9 as well as now how quite literally, they are both the only people who can give the other what they are missing… what they need to be whole again.

They are tied in that, back in V9, they both failed each other and feel significant guilt over that failure for each other… and undoubtedly have a desire to try and be their for the other or do something to apologize/make up for that failure in V10 and beyond, much the same as a few other ships.

They are tied in that they are both the only person that can give what the other needs with Ruby being the one person who can/has already given Weiss a place she can call home again among team RWBY and Weiss is the only other character who can be the one who will always be by Ruby’s side and fill the missing void left by Summer and Penny, be the one to help put Ruby back together through being someone can make that promise to remain and to always believe in her no matter what.

And just overall, with what happened in V9 and all the connections and how Ruby was the only to notice Weiss pain about Atlas or Weiss was the one who truly understood what was wrong with Ruby and why she was hurting as badly as she was without telling anyone

It’s very clear as to why Whiterose will become canon from looking at how much potential they have and how their relationship will have a major role in V10

But another way is to look at how much growth their relationship has already gone through and easily determine through that growth the ship being canon

What exactly do I mean by we can tell WR is going to be canon just by looking at the growth of the relationship so far? Again, very simple

Much like every ship that is so far canon and so far every development, a major factor in each partner ship is how the characters within each ship causes the other to grow and change in different ways.

For example

With the Bees you have how Blake and Yang gradually help bring out the best in the other with Blake being more joyful and happy and Yang being more calmer and patient/less prone to anger, or how both Blake and Yang were able to help them to change and realize that they are worthy of love and not afraid of it

Or

With Arkos how Pyrrha helps to train and make Jaune not just a better fighter/leader but genuinely more strong willed and courageous, or how after Pyrrha’s death, while being the reason Jaune pursued such a path, being the one who ultimately managed to get Jaune to change and move on from the pain and sorrow and instead honor her memory then avenge

But how is that his all relevant to Whiterose and how they grow, well, it’s because Ruby and Weiss help each other to grow and change in that way as well

Ruby helps Weiss to change and become genuinely more warmer and more understanding and patient, to become less of a ice queen and rather someone who is far more supportive, inspiring, kinder, and warms

Weiss helps Ruby to change and become more of a better fighter/leader and to help her become more understanding and determined, to no longer be the anxious girl just starting beacon to the brave and strong huntress who stands up and manages to inspire the world to work together.

And we know this to be the case with how “one small act of kindness brings about marvelous change” or however the blacksmith puts it, we see that with Ruby and Weiss, and with all the other partners

We see that with how Weiss back in V1, with a single moment of kindness of showing that she believes in Ruby and sees she can be a great leader as well as a promise to be the best teammate

Help to change the two to become far better then ever and to grow in ways that are quite marvelous indeed

And we also don’t see just positive changes, we all some negative changes or pushes that causes thing to happen

With all ships and WR especially

Bees have the losing one another causing them to change both negatively and positively, Arkos has Jaune losing Pyrrha and pursuing revenge changing negatively first and then ending in a positive manner, Ren and Nora separating in V8 and being lost/confused on who they are and what they want in a negative sort of change til after they reunite and figure out what they want first

Ruby and Weiss change negatively in V9 and most likely a part of V10 for Weiss with how Ruby lacks Weiss as a major pillar of support and how she misunderstands Weiss words or what she is doing, causing her to break her mask finally and to let out all that she been bottling up/hiding away (though this does lead later to how Ruby learns she is just enough/she doesn’t have to be perfect). As for Weiss, we don’t fully see the effects yet and don’t see how much Weiss is going to negatively change from some events but due to JL part 2 and how Weiss character is… needless to say it’s probably going to be something

Either way, just from looking at Ruby and Weiss is growth, we can tell that they are incredibly important to each other and they are very special for each other.

But overall

There is many ways to see how Ruby and Weiss are incredibly special to each other and especially how Whiterose is undoubtedly going to become canon. Many things that can be pointed to and just a whole bunch of cute stuff

But overall, I hope you all enjoyed this little talk I did and had a good time reading it or whatever, I might make a part 2 in another couple of months for the heck of it because why not, it’s fun and it just something to do during the hiatus

Ultratober art challenge- favorite song! (2 weeks late oops)

drawing this was such a journey so I have some progress shots and notes below

This was inspired by an Ultrakill themed October art event I saw on twitter. The first prompt was "favorite song", so I had to choose between Duel and Castle Vein. I ended up going with Duel because I already had an idea for a drawing of V1 and V2.

I wanted the drawing to look similar to the album covers for the game soundtrack, so I went with the solid red and black style (yellow just to highlight where the wings would go on the sketch).

I assumed this would just be a short project, since there were only two colors and no background... I was wrong.

I got a bit overzealous and really wanted to put as much detail onto V1 and V2 as possible, to make up for the lack of background. After spending over an hour detailing V1, I realized not only did I still have to add the wings, I had to do it all over again on V2.

The wings were kind of a nightmare. I had trouble figuring out both the correct perspective and angles, but also positioning them so they didn't cover up any important parts of their bodies. If you notice that the base of V2's wings look different from V1's, It's because I still hadn't figured out how to draw them properly at that point (and I was too lazy to go back and fix it later).

I'm happy with the end result though. I considered adding some motion blur, but I felt like it didn't really improve the composition in any way so I left it out.

"Superhero video v1" is peak cinema

The first moment that made me lose it was the one with tigers going over black borders

They just took the thing that roars and is considered cool and put it all over the place 😭

Then of course lots of explosions and barely stable low resolution video which is super funny on its own

Even more animals! Elephants in the city with robotic voice saying in fast tempo "elephant green screen effect" is the funniest thing I've seen in a while

The MLG shooting guns meme😭

Things like this really remind us that their style of humor isn't exactly modern

On the side note Orange in cut videos was also dancing to "Peanut Butter Jelly time" and "Spectre" by Alan Walker which were popular around 10 years ago (?)

Sometimes it's hard to tell if being a little outdated is a deliberate character trait for CG (as they were very present during 2010s internet era) or it's just an Alan thing XD

Aquarium with fish and little bubble sounds as Orange lays on the ground🐟

Who in Alan's team came up with this and why is it making me giggle??

And now let's talk about the ending — undoubtedly the best part of this video.

Defeated Green falls on the ground (with an explosion of course) then png car rolls in, then it all explodes again😭

People are cheering, lots (and I mean lots) of confetti falls out of everywhere, we barely see the characters themselves and it all ends with brief sound of "Yippee!" and two jumping kittens from the same meme 😭

Credits start but confetti keeps falling

There's an explosion at the end and text "red was here" which was kept in the second version as well

Summing up I just can't help it but be amused with Alan's team making this one minute long video as funny as possible and putting as many explosions as possible. It feels exactly what CG would do XD
