Hey, when you are submitting for this blog, you really need to at least submit the bare minimum here. There's a bullet in the rules list (the first one, in fact) that states what AT A MINIMUM should be included with each submission:

Link to the work

What you loved about it

I get asks every once in a while where someone forgets the handle, and that didn't used to bother me, but the last few times I've hosted FF, I've had a TON of submissions that don't include the handle or don't include a link or even a title to a fic. And I've gotten some that have none of that information at all. Just a hyperlink with no additional thought.

Like y'all. I spend a LOT of time on this. Can you not take five minutes to tell me what you liked about what you're submitting? Or just to make sure the info is correct? It really didn't used to bother me, but it's becoming SUPER prevalent at this point, and I really can't add a whole lot to nothing (I try to add a little commentary to each submission, but if there's nothing to go off of, and I'm not in the fandom, I'm just at a loss).

Please. PLEASE. Do the bare minimum here. Otherwise, I'm just going to start trashing asks. Because why would I put in all of this effort if the people sending me stuff can't be bothered to take a few minutes to ensure the submission has these things? It's supposed to be a way to APPRECIATE stuff, but when you can't even be bothered to write a sentence or two about what you liked, then why bother? I know accidents happen sometimes, and things like handles or links get forgotten, but it has become so frequent that it's a problem.

I find it so funny, in light of TikTok’s imminent American demise, that even now they aren’t considering moving to tumblr. The last two social media refugee crises (Twitter -> X and whatever happened with Reddit) prompted a wave of wide-eyed new baffled tumblr users to flood this app and yet last I heard all of the tiktokers are flooding en-masse a Chinese social media app. That is entirely in Mandarin. Instead of moving to tumblr.

At the company retreat, one extremely drunk girl asked what my pronouns were. (Eventually, it took her a while to word the question.) After the whole conversation was done, she goes- "YEAHHH GURL, Get on with--with THY bad self! See what I did?? They/them/thy."
