if you watch good omens you’ll be able to watch Deadloch they’re on the same service. Uhhhh One of the actors from ofmd is there shes one half of the main duo (the other half is played by Kate Box who’s an amazing actor and Dulcie is now one of my fav characters ever) gets to wear an open Hawaiian shirt for like 3 of the 8 episodes which is a bonus. ok this is embarassing but I've never actually seen the X-Files, so I'm just going to go off the vague knowledge I have from my mutuals who post about it: Izzy works for some government agency investigating weird stuff. After his old partner abandons him he gets stuck with the department screw-up, Jack. Neither of them are happy about it; they've known each other for a long time and they worked together for a while way back. Izzy thinks Jack is lazy and immature; Jack thinks Izzy is stuck-up and boring. Their first investigation together is a total disaster; Jack swears he saw a UFO and Izzy just writes it off as him being high and hallucinating, then Izzy terrifies a witness into not speaking and ruins their best lead. After that they realize they have to at least try to work together or they'll both lose their jobs. Jack quits doing mushrooms on the clock and Izzy tries to listen more, and they develop a begrudging respect (well, Izzy develops a begrudging respect for Jack; Jack is in love with him from day 1). In their next case Izzy gets himself kidnapped by the big bad and Jack has to save him. Izzy realizes that maybe Jack is somewhat competent and starts to catch feelings (which take him at least a full season of denial and repression to act on because that's more fun for me lol)

I know I'm annoying about it but this show feels special and queer-normative to me like OFMD and Owl House and Gomens season 2 do. We need more stories like these.
