The more Harry sunk into his work, the more his friends pestered him about it. Their lives differed from his, and though they tried to understand, Harry privately felt that they simply could not, and never would be able to.
Still, Hermione was the most persistent when it came to trying. “Harry,” she said, “we’re worried about you. No one knows what being the Master of Death really means. You never sleep, you never eat—I know you said you don’t need to, but…” She paused. “This is new to all of us. It’s new, what… what you are.”
(What you have yet to become.)
“I’m fine,” Harry said, putting on a smile. “Never better, really. I promise if anything does come up, I’ll tell you right away.”
“It’s not just that.” Hermione chewed on her lower lip for a moment, then said, “Your eyes, they’re… far away, sometimes. You’re here, but you’re not listening, like you aren’t really here.”
Harry supposed he had a tendency to let his mind drift lately. There were so many thoughts in his head, a whole muddle of them overlapping, as though the dead he worked with were all calling to him from the beyond, and one particular voice clear and high above the rest.
“I think… it’s like he’s with me, sometimes,” Harry admitted.
Hermione frowned. “Like who is with you?”
“My dad,” he lied quickly, already vowing to never bring it up again. He didn’t want to worry her. It was not a good thing after all, even in the magical world, to have voices in his head.
Hermione’s gaze softened immediately, as he’d known it would. “Of course.” Her hand reached out to cover his, warm and heavy and alive, so unlike the hands he had grown used to as of late. “I’m sure he is, Harry.”

Adam Stanheight x reader? Reader asks Adam out on a date.
Hope you like it, anon! <3
Note: Adam is so precious, he is such a baby 😭😭
You are enough | Adam Faulkner-Stanheight x Reader
Summary: Adam feels insecure, but either way he will always be enough for you
Tumblr media
You felt so nervous after making the decision to ask him out on a date. Okay, you didn't know each other very well, it had only been 3 months since u had started working at that photography studio in the center of the city with Adam.
But since you met him, you felt on heaven, he was certainly the kindest, most gentlemanly and romantic man you had met in your entire life. Always worried about you, he always asked how your day was, if you were satisfied with the teamwork. But a big step was never made on either side.
You were almost 99% sure that he would accept your invitation, but that 1% was still pounding in your head with fear of a possible rejection from Adam. You thought for several days until you decided everything and memorized all the possible lines in your mind, even though you knew you would easily forget it right away due to your extreme nervousness.
You left the bathroom after putting some water on your face to try to calm down and went towards the main room of the studio again, walking in silence, you saw something weird, Adam was facing away, placing a paper under the door while holding other papers in the other hand.
"What are you doing?"
You asked and he got scared, turning back and dropping all the papers on the floor, he was pale like a ghost, you controlled your laughter seeing him completely clumsy trying to pick up the papers from the floor and getting even more nervous. You shook your head and crouched on the floor to help organize the papers again.
“I… it’s nothing”
He said nervously, standing up again and swallowing hard, looking around. You crouched down again and picked up the paper that was under the door, Adam became desperate again and tried to take the paper from your hand. You dodged and opened the letter, which had your name on it, starting to read.
“Did you want to ask me to go on a date ?”
You smiled and he immediately blushed, scratching his head.
“Yes...okay, i know you wouldn't accept it, it was a silly idea, wasn't it? i'm sorry, y/n."
He spoke a little sadly and started walking away quickly, you went after him and pulled his arm, sighing.
“I think you read my thoughts, Adam. I was also planning to ask you out. Why did you think i wouldn’t accept your request?”
You asked a little worried. Adam was very sensitive and you knew that very well. He was extremely surprised after your confession, he would never have imagined that a beautiful and desired woman like you would agree to go out with someone like him.
“Well... im not good-looking like the other guys here, i don’t have many money or a nice house, you can find someone better.”
You gave his face a quick caress. Trying to comfort him, he closed his eyes enjoying your touch.
“I think the best guy is right in front of me. It’s a shame he’s so shy.”
“R-really?? Y/n you are the best girl too!!”
He said happy.
“Adam, you are simply the kindest guy i have ever met, so loving and charming, you are enough for me... Of course i would accept!”
He smiled shyly.
“So… today after work? We can have a pizza, a burger, I don’t know.”
“Of course, I will eagerly wait for you, Adam. Until later."
You whispered in his ear, feeling his hair stand on end, and placed a kiss on his cheek, seeing him turn red again. He said goodbye a little awkwardly and you entered the room again, still with the paper in hand.
Final note: please, reblog if you liked! 💖

Hey, I just wanted to say that I LOVE Attack on Prime, it's an amazing emotional roller-coaster! I'm so sad that there's only 3 chapters left, but I'm very happy with what you've made.
One of my favorite aspects of this story was parenthood and how Optimus filled that role with Eren, while (IMO) Megatron had a similar experience with Mikasa.
Maybe I'm looking too deep into things, but I always felt like Megatron became Mikasa's father, the same way Optimus became Eren's father.
Thank you again, I'm very excited to see how AoP will end!
So...it's technically two chapters of the main story that's left. Chapter 99 is going to be an Author's note along with me posting all the fanart people have done of my work as well as the links to their accounts so they can get the respect they deserve and just thank everyone for their support over the past decade. I'll also be talking about certain OVAs I'll be writing that is separate from the main AOP storyline. I'm still debating on a few things regarding those. I will also be writing a new anthology because there are quite a few things I can't fit into the next chapter.
But since we're near the end, I guess I can talk more about Megatron and Mikasa's dynamic.
So Megatron and Mikasa's dynamic started off as more of acquaintances than anything else, but Mikasa was the only human Megatron was getting along with because Mikasa was the only one in the Survey Corps that was willing to kill at the time. You could also apply this logic to Levi, but Levi was already suspicious of Megatron, preventing them from ever getting along.
Besides that, Megatron only valued strength in the beginning and didn't really understand the complexities that made humanity worth fighting for. Mikasa was just a strong teenager with a strong affinity for loyalty, which is something he respected and kind of reminded him of Soundwave. And Mikasa noticing that Megatron valued strength, tried to show him that humanity was worth fighting for through her own strength and bravery.
However, the one thing that Megatron didn't like about her in the beginning is her attachment to Eren. And he's told her before that it is her fatal flaw: being attached to an impulsive fool that's marked for death. He's warned her about this because he doesn't want her to fall into a trap because he respects her strength and ability to fight, but nothing else.
One of the biggest indicators in their change in dynamic when Megatron and Mikasa go to Hizuru together. In the previous chapters, Megatron does encourage Mikasa to try and use her long-lost status to her advantage, which she does, and Megatron ends up going with her to Hizuru to secure the alliance. And the Hizuru trip is first time he's been around Mikasa for an extended period of time. Sure, they have had conversations in the past, some of which were vulnerable for Mikasa herself, but Hizuru is where Megatron is finally able to understand Mikasa completely and recognize that she's a shy girl who desperately wants to live a normal life because it was so cruelly ripped away from her.
After Hizuru, there's a definite change in their dynamic with Mikasa showing a little bit more trust in Megatron, and Megatron is slowly starting to see the worth in humans overall. Part of it being that humans don't only have worth when they can fight. There's a bit of a backtrack with whole Annie situation, but the biggest change is when Megatron reveals his name to Armin and Mikasa in order to completely gain their trust because he wants to be a better person.
After that, Megatron and Mikasa's relationship does improve, but there's the obvious hiccup of Eren going rouge, and Mikasa letting her feelings conflict with the importance of stopping the world from ending. And through all of this, Megatron isn't feeling indifferent or even annoyed, Megatron just feels bad for her and Armin and everyone else that Eren is hurting. He understands just how important Eren is to Mikasa and why, but Megatron was still willing to take on the role of killing Eren for the sake of the world, even if it meant destroying the fragile relationships he's worked so hard to make between Mikasa and the others.
Megatron's not really a father to Mikasa per say, but their relationship is definitely a significant improvement compared to what it was in the beginning. Actually with the new anthology coming up, I'm excited to explore just how much Megatron's dynamic with the Survey Corps and Mikasa has changed.
Although Levi and Megatron will always hate each other. That is a constant.
Anyway, thank you for your support.

Okay, so I'm fully into my HP obsession again (honestly, I don't care what anyone says or how much the world tries to cancel this fandom. This is my childhood, it's a part of me that's always there and I eventually go back to between the other things) and therefore, the Marauders era's obsession.
And like, I've always loved them for some reason. Honestly, when I found fandoms and stuff and saw they're actually almost a fandom on it's own, I was so happy and relieved that I'm not the only one. (I realised at one point that I love HP yet I've never read a fic that's not about them from this fandom...)
But I've been thinking about some things and also came across some random videos summarizing what we know about them (because there are so many hcs that most people accept as common that it's easy to forget the real facts) and now I have so many thoughts I need to share because they haunt me.
-They were like... Big jerks. Especially James and Sirius. Mostly them, tbh. Like, not only because we see them from Snape's perspective in memories and he hates them but because, well, they were mean. Especially Sirius (he's my absolutely favourite character but still), he's done pretty shitty things. I think James mostly had beef with Snape but they were overall kinda bullies.
-Even though I love Wolfstar just as much as 90% of this fandom (I mean the Marauders era), I think they're a famous ship just because we get to see interactions between them while alive and not just flashbacks but I don't think they were really close back in the days. James and Sirius were the ones extremely close and maybe if we had seen extended Marauders' interactions or they were eventually all alive, then most likely Wolfstar wouldn't have been that popular.
-I'm 99% sure that the great friendship between Lily and Remus is completely fan-made. I believe Remus was the most reasonable (but nobody can convince me he wasn't the mastermind behind 99% of their pranks at the same time) and wasn't into being mean with anyone so it's possible that they were interacting on much better terms than her and James (I mean, until they got together) but I don't think they could have ever been called friends.
-In fact, canonly, Sirius was taller than Remus. (What a shock, right?)
-Lots of people say stuff like "Who was the fifth guy in their dorm?" and there are many theories about it but do we even have a proof that the four of them were in the same dorm at all? Nope.
-Now that's my personal opinion but... I absolutely believe they were really good friends and while at school at least, nobody was left out intentionally but... Maybe Peter betrays them in the end because of some build up stuff throughout the years. We know James and Sirius meet on Hogwarts Express and immediately become best friends. We don't know when Remus and Peter join exactly but it must have been shortly after, I think Peter is pretty much the last who joins. Seeing how some of the people are very good friends, it's a bit hard to truly feel a part of a friend group and might make you feel a bit left out at times (but that's basically a rule in every friend group, tbh. There are the two best friends and well... the other, still close friends). There's also the fact that Peter canonly wears the Sorting hat for over five minutes so here you have another episode of feeling kind of left out. Then later they learn about Remus and they all decide to support him and even learn how to transform and Peter is the last to learn how to do it too. Then even later, James and his family take Sirius in. What I'm trying to say is, we have no canon information of any of them doing anything for Peter and I'm not saying that they weren't good friends, it's just that he was exposed to them doing stuff for each other, and like, really big stuff too (granted, it was really all about helping a friend in a big need) but he was never the center of it + some occasions that might have left him feel kind of uncertain and uneasy about himself like not being sorted for a longer time or needing help to transform. And the result might be feeling emotionally distant from the group and with desire to prove himself worthy of something. So, that's maybe why he finally turns to Voldemort.
-They canonly don't trust Remus much by the end and even suspect he might be Voldemort's spy.
-There is a big chance that Harry and Remus really meet when Harry is 13, meaning that he never saw him as a baby.
-Speaking of feeling left out earlier... I think Remus might have also felt so more often than not. I think they were all into innocent pranks but he wasn't into actively being a jerk, especially considering that he was someone who would have gotten lots of hate if people knew about the werewolf thing. The stupid prank in 5th year must have been a real punch in the gut too. The fact that he gets to stop interacting with them and they even start mistrusting him. Lots of things, really. AND HE STILL NEVER BETRAYED THEM, WAS NEVER A JERK TO ANY OF THEM, AND GOT TO LIVE FOR 12 YEARS BELIEVING THAT ONE OF HIS BEST FRIENDS KILLED THE OTHER TWO!!!
Okay. I made myself enough sad for one evening. Might add more to this.

Plot Bunny - My Doll (slave!rottmnt!Donnie x Reader)
We open to a world where yokai (both mutant and yokai are referred to as such because as long as you have non-human blood you're lumped into the same category) are commoditized as playthings. It’s stylish for the riche to buy them as companions for their children. It shows they can take care of another being (one that needs more maintenance than a pet) and because they’ve been trained and cost a pretty penny. They're the whole package as they entertain, protect, and utterly obey. They're raised to do this without question. Reader is given Donnie at a young age (5ish) and he's of a similar one. You are confused over the ‘toy’ concept and don't understand how he isn't a person regardless of how he looks. Donnie is cold, resolute, beaten down, and doesn't act in the slightest without being told. Reader vows pretty quickly to never ask everything of him. You grow up together and Reader resents the system and loves their doll, but you're torn. While you may be too young to understand the word ‘consent’ you understand the concept and that Donnie can’t give it...
Sound like fun? Read the entire plot bunny by joining the 1$ a month tier, afreakingreader, over on my patreon!
FAQ:
What is this?
Did you know that when I'm not writing, I'm writing? By definition a plot bunny is "a story idea that refuses to go away until it is written." Basically even though Weak Spot takes up 99% of my thought processes, the other 1% of my mind is still overflowing with creative. I've got to write these bad boys down and bring them to a sort of fruition. What you will find if you subscribe is a fully realized idea in outline form. It only isn't a true 'completed' fic because it doesn't have any of the nuance I would put into writing. That being said it is 'done' in my mind because I have no plan to turn it into a fully realized work.
Why is this behind a paywall?
Now fan fiction can exist using elements of copyrighted material because it is free. I don't claim to own or have any affiliation with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or their properties. I do claim that the unique concept of my creations and my time which is wholly my own. When you support me on Patreon, you are not paying for the work itself (all my work is free), you are instead paying for my time and to get behind the scenes content and insight into my writing. Here, since these are not 'completed' works and instead 'outlines,' they fit into the behind the scenes box.
What are the tags on this?
My Doll is rated Teen, afab reader, has a happy ending, is a romance of sorts, childhood friends AU if you could call it that, and a journey of liberation.

Now that it's been a little over a week since the finale was released, I'm going to give some of my final thoughts on Murder Drones.
While I'm going to miss this series a lot, I really do think it's for the best that it ended here on a high note, as all the mysteries being setup throughout the series concluded in ep 7/Mass Destruction.
Absolute End was twenty minutes worth of satisfying wrap-ups.
Thoughts/comments in order:
⋅ Nori and Uzi briefly interacting at the beginning of the episode was great. LOVE that there was a little semi-realism here: no sound can be heard in space. Nori and Uzi having to find ways to communicate was clever.
⋅ N finally getting to pilot a spaceship :').
⋅ The VERY CUTE convo between N and Uzi that they are, in fact, dating was perfection. While they're falling through the atmosphere. While on fire. This was so good you guys. They are such a great main couple. Have loved their slow burn throughout the show <3.
⋅ V IS BACK. Was already 100% positive Lizzy's "secret friend" was V, so this was not a surprise.
⋅ Now, while I was hoping for J to see the light in the final episode, I was happy with what we got instead. Confirmation that she knows what has happened to Tessa, and that she has ultimately taken the cowards way out. She won't fight the inevitable.
Love the brief hint that she has TRIED to make things right with V in the past; warn her about Cyn's plans.
"If I promised you anything, it tricked me too."
:(
Also props to Shara Kirby here. J didn't play a huge role in the series, but the few lines she did get in the finale were great.
⋅ Legit my favorite part of the episode is that corny bit N and Uzi do while they're still falling towards Copper 9. Uzi blasting Cyn with the solver (null-solver? blackhole-solver?), THE WINK, Uzi and N: The Drone Killers, and the final sunglasses pose.
ABSOLUTE DORKS ILTHEM SO MUCH.
⋅ I also love that they are IMMEDIATLEY completely fucked up beyond belief by Cyn moments after this. That was devastating holy shit.
⋅ CYN IS SO SCARY IN THIS EP. Cannot believe how good the "call back ping" scene is.
⋅ N has never had problems with panic attacks throughout the series, so I can only assume this is due to him having access to his own memories now? Cyn could keep his personality intact by, as Uzi put it in ep2 "turning his memories to soup".
Which gives me the impression that he could potentially go comatose without Uzi there to hold his hand.
JFC.
⋅ V's heartfelt confession that everything she did was to keep N safe was a fantastic scene too. I went into this episode assuming 99% of the cast would survive, but I was definitely panicking here.
Me: "Do something N. DO SOMETHING."
N: *does something and is immediately ko'd*
Me: "NO, NOT LIKE THAT!!!"
⋅ Khan was redeemed early on the series for me, given how much effort he immediately put into trying to be a bigger part of Uzi's life after the pilot episode.
That being said, it was nice that he managed to come through in a clutch and save N :).
⋅ "Weirdly hot robots" Uzi lmao. Further confirmation that this entire show really is YA/Twilight spoof.
⋅ "I think dumb things are figgin' cool and I. AM. FREE." Yeah no, I can understand why this is a very niche show. The humor is very. Um. Look, I love her so much, this was so funny to me. The final message of the series is literally "be your dopey, cringe self - get the guy" hahaha. Teenage-me would have made this series my entire personality. Or, I would have at the very least appreciated the message.
⋅ BOSS BATTLE!! It's insane how good this scene looks. This was an absolute joy to look at. Adored the addition of Nori's ipod nightcore mix as the main battle song.
⋅ Allanah Fitzgerald is a riot actually.
⋅ I was not fooled by the N fake-out death lol. Good setup to further prove the trio are absolutely in sync now though. Probably my favorite part of the fight scene.
⋅ The fight against Cyn ending in a very grounded way was...interesting? Literally just Uzi making an appropriate strategic decision in a split second.
⋅ Tessa's ribcage oh my God.
⋅ Nori still being infatuated with Khan is so funny.
⋅ Uzi not coming out of this scot-free makes sense. The setup for that reveal was great.
V: "Oh, she's still a cringelord it's her UGH".
⋅ N twirling her around and squeezing her and crying into her shoulder omfg why are they so cuuteee.
⋅ Uzi coming full circle from the pilot scene presentation, complete with an updated "protag/heroes journey" slide:
"Forget about all of this insanity. Get tunnel visioned on spooky corpse robot reveal. Work backwards from there."
LMAO
⋅ Khan excitedly cheering about the fact that Uzi essentially decided she should have never gone outside. Blink and you won't notice that Nori is with him, but she iiisss.
⋅ Final classroom scene and end credits were fun:
- "THAT'S MY GIRLFRIEND!" - N is learning to draw manga (from one of those awful Western "how to draw manga" books from the early 2000s) - V is very affectionate/proud about this - V and Lizzy are very close now - Doll's body is for some reason there too (??) - V is definitely drinking from a dead worker drone in this scene lmao - The group shots of Lizzy, V, Thad, Uzi and N together were cute - J is STILL ALIVE. Why is she obsessed with leaving via the ship...? - Gin Rummy game finally happened. Also Nori again. - "Pog in chat!!" Why. - Doll's funeral (or well - memorial presentation by Lizzy) at the prom. I love how pissed N and Uzi look lmao. - V playing chess against the sentinel
⋅ AAANND we get the final confirmation that Uzi is in fact, permanently stuck with Cyn/the Solver, as it can speak to her. I'm not buying the "everything's a hologram and everyone's actually dead" theory because the show is simply not that cynical. But I do love that this certainly leaves the audience with questions at the final moment.
Again, I'm gonna miss this show and these characters. Would love to see them explored more in the future *emoji eyes at Glitch*.
Cannot wait to see what Glitch has in store, in terms of new shows. I'm shocked at how high quality indie animation has gotten in the last half decade, and I'd like to see more of it.

Hiiii I'm here just to ask if u have some canmaker/showmaker/canyon hcs and if u can share some w us? (´ . .̫ . `) I really love how u characterized them it just feels real and like v human god (I wish to write like that one day) and yeah, also happy late saturday showdown !
Hi, and thanks for the ask!
I am always happy to share hcs, especially for CanMaker - I greatly appreciate the compliment of my characterizations (I try very hard!), and happy late Saturday Showdown to you as well!
Here are a few new headcanons for Heo Su, Kim Geonbu, and the two of them together:
Su loves to sing, but is atrociously bad at it. He adored music class in grade school and despite being very shy in normal circumstances he would always belt out off-key notes at top volume whenever the class sang in a group, much to the dismay of everyone around him. The only one who has ever agreed to go to karaoke with him more than once is Geonbu (and Geonbu enjoys it, too, because his ears can withstand the noise and seeing Su happy is so, so worth it).
Geonbu was actually pretty popular during his few years of secondary school and still keeps in touch with a few of his old friends. I mentioned in a previous fic my hc that he had a girlfriend for a while - that poor girl had a crush on Geonbu for years without him noticing until a mutual friend told him about it and he decided to ask her out, just to try it. They got along fairly well and stayed together up until Geonbu decided that he was going to drop out to pursue a career as a pro-gamer, at which point he politely broke up with her only because he was afraid he wouldn't be able to dedicate enough time to her and thought she'd deserve better. She was very understanding and supportive of that decision and they're still on good terms to date.
Heo Su's biggest secret, one that he's never told anyone, is from when he was still fighting with his parents about wanting to become a pro-gamer: one time, in retaliation for his mom stealing his mouse, he snuck into her room and stole an antique pearl necklace that belonged to his great-grandmother. He hid it in his room and planned to return it once his mouse was back, but then he completely forgot about it until a few months later when his mom noticed it was missing. Naturally, she FREAKED OUT - the police were called and everything - and Su certainly wasn't going to let her know that he was the one who took it now, so he just... didn't say anything and kept it hidden. He took it with him to the Damwon dorms in a well-wrapped bundle, and keeps it in the pocket of his suitcase where he can forget about it 99% of the time. Now that years have passed, he's considered returning it, but he thinks he might just wait for his mom to die and then put the necklace on her in her casket.
Meanwhile, the most trouble Geonbu ever got in as a child was the one time he got yelled at for feeding noodles to the family cat.
When it comes to love languages, Su both gives and receives words of affirmation but also really enjoys physical touch. Geonbu likes receiving words of affirmation and naturally gives acts of service. In short, how their relationship dynamic ends up working is Su insisting that Geonbu cuddle with him, which he is more than happy to do, then Su praises and teases him for it and Geonbu says "I love you too" and they're just... yeah.
Clearly quality time comes (came?) naturally to them to after living and working together for so long - I've talked about movies and karaoke but to be honest their best dates have always been when it's just the two of them together in the dorms - like Su sneaking into Geonbu's room at 2 am with a handheld video game console and a bag of chips and ordering Geonbu to feed him while he beats this boss. Then they both climb under the covers together so it's all dark except for the light of the screen and Su gets so locked into the battle and Geonbu is happy to just be there with him, watching his little expressions and giving him nutritional support. When Su finally defeats the boss he shouts because he's so happy, and Geonbu has to shush him because the others are sleeping, but Su is just too excited and snuggles up next to Geonbu to make it clear that he's spending the night there. A minute later, Su complains about their being chip crumbs on the mattress and Geonbu's just like "Really. I wonder who's responsible for that."
Hope you enjoyed these! These two are just so sweet ugh, thank you for the prompt and don't hesitate to reach out again if you want more!
Have a great day!!

Hold on, I actually have something to say about Lucky Spencer, his recasts, and the punishment of actors through character assassination.
Under a read more because I have A LOT to say:
For some reason, every January for the last few years, I watch clips of General Hospital - sometimes storylines I've seen before, and sometimes stories I want to see for the first time. This January I decided on Lucky (JJ) and Elizabeth, and I've watched every scene of theirs I could find from '97 to '99 and '09 to '11. I'd seen a few of their older scenes, a bit more of their recent scenes, but it was my first time watching everything from the beginning. Two months later and I'm still thinking about them, how sweet they were together as teens, and how the writers ruined them over and over again.
My first memory of watching GH was with my older sister, and it just so happened to be the episode in '99 with Lucky's funeral and the reveal that he was alive. As a lover of angst, I was enthralled. I wanted to know what happened next. Now in hindsight, that was truly the end for them. Sometimes I feel like Lucky died in that fire and he never came back. Lucky said it himself in a scene with Luke in '10 - "Elizabeth and I never recovered from that fire," and he was right. And it is so disappointing to me. A small part of me almost wishes I didn't know how good they were then, so that I never learned how far they'd fallen.
The characters as teenagers were beautiful together. They were IN LOVE, and they sold it, and had better chemistry than almost any characters I've ever seen. I know this is a soap opera and almost no one is allowed to stay married to one person, much less with their high school sweetheart, but I just wish they hadn't done so much deliberate, irreparable damage to this couple. And for what?
From the wiki I read recently, Jonathan Jackson wanted to leave as early as '96 or '97 and they convinced him to stay, which I'm grateful he did so we could get the Liz/Lucky story. I hate that he left, and really dislike recasts in general, but I would never begrudge an actor for wanting to move on from a soap opera, even if I miss them. And to expect an 11-year-old actor to commit to a lifetime as one character is ridiculous. He wanted to leave again in '11, and while that was incredibly disappointing, I understand why he did.
He's said in interviews that he wanted to work with Tony and Becky, and have Liz and Lucky reunite, and have lighter stories. I know actors rarely get a say in their storylines, that they've gotta shut up and do the work they're given, and I get that. But considering those requests were the whole reason he even agreed to come back in the first place, why did they apparently agree when they had no intention of following through? So he left, which was within his right to do. Creators/producers/writers don't have to cater to actors' wants, but then they shouldn't act surprised when the actor leaves when they've lied to get them in the door. So yeah, I don't blame him for leaving, and I'm happy for him that he got Nashville soon after.
Unfortunately, now Lucky has since been punished for this. They turned him into a deadbeat dad who doesn't see his kids. They absolutely did not have to do that. They could so easily say he talks to them at least once a week on the phone, that he sees them every few months, and sends them gifts on their birthdays. It might not be perfect but at least it's not the complete abandonment of his children. Jax was allowed an offscreen relationship with Josslyn, so why can't Lucky? It's so out of character for him to do this and the writers' motives are so transparent to me.
And frankly, I feel like they've been ruining Lucky since the first time JJ left. After running out of JJ scenes to watch, I finally grit my teeth and watched some scenes with the recasts. I watched some of JY's Lucky return storyline. The actor was fine I guess, but I didn't buy him as Lucky, and the chemistry with Liz just wasn't there anymore. I hate the brainwashing stuff and how he no longer loved Elizabeth. If I'd been watching this live then, I probably would've quit because that is NOT the story I would've wanted to see with these characters.
GV's Lucky is even worse. I'm sure the actor is good in other things but that character was definitely not Lucky. I mostly blame the writing, but every time I see him, I say aloud to myself, "I do not know this man." Lucky would not be a cop. From some scenes I've seen, he was controlling and downright mean to Elizabeth. He was so unlikable and annoying. While the drug addiction storyline is good for drama and a challenge for actors, I just don't buy that as a story for Lucky, and definitely not the cheating. Again, it's just so very out of character that I simply don't think of that man as Lucky - that rage-filled, Dudley Do Right cuckhold? I realize this sounds really harsh, and yes there were some nice moments too (I begrudgingly admit their 2005 wedding was very sweet) but for me the bad far outweighed the good. I don't know what the character (and actors) of Lucky did to deserve such character assassination
It's very telling to me that the moment JJ returned, Lucky was allowed to be smart again. Competent at his job. To actually be respected by the other characters. What a concept, huh? There's no way JJ would've returned to that mess of a character otherwise. I agree that it's fucked up that GV was fired and that JJ was told that GV moved on of his own volition, but I'm glad JJ returned for the time he did, even though they had no idea what to do with him.
Siobhan? She was fine at first but then became shrill. And she was just the rebound girl he never should've married. The Balkan storyline was definitely not one of their best. Lucky's exit - which both JJ and Tony complained about - by having Lucky leave his kids just before Christmas to go talk to some rocks? Wtf were they thinking? An actor leaves and they no longer have any obligation to make a satisfying conclusion for fans, I guess. The Liz/Nik affair was so gross to me. I don't know a lot about Becky's firing, but they clearly wanted to punish her and her character too before getting rid of her. While I hate what Liz did, I don't hate the character, because they clearly had some kind of vendetta against Becky to want to trash her character so thoroughly. And I understand that's even the nature of soap operas - that everyone gets the chance to fuck up and do unforgivable things - and I guess that's just an aspect of soaps that I absolutely hate. That some characters aren't allowed to stay good and true to themselves for the sake of drama and who's the daddy storylines.
I know there are GH fans now, and probably many back then, who are sick of LL2 and want Liz to move on. And that's fair. But I'm also sure that there were so many people who wanted them back together, especially after JJ returned. I was one of them. What an absolute waste of history and chemistry. Jonathan and Becky both wanted it. A lot of the fans wanted it. They didn't even have to keep them together forever - soap couples never last - but to NEVER allow these characters any happiness together when we finally had JJ back is one of the biggest fumbles I've ever seen. They ruined the characters a long time ago, and they ruined this couple yet again. And I'll never forgive that.
I want JJ to come back as Lucky, I always will, even if it's just for a little while. He probably won't, and why would he after last time? I don't want a recast but if they decided to then maybe I'd give him a chance, only because I want them to stop trashing the character. But honestly whoever they cast probably still won't be Lucky to me - JJ IS Lucky, and some characters just can't be recast. I'm trying to make my peace with that, and with the fact that the last time we saw the REAL Lucky and Liz happy together was back in 1999. The showrunner and writers at the time had the rare opportunity to fix that in 2010 and chose not to do it. Why? I could never guess.

Oh wise one in the ways of elves, do you have any thoughts or suggestions for how to portray the age/longevity of elves compared to humans? And older elves vs younger elves? I have an ongoing story I'm working on involving several elves, one of which is in his early hundreds, the others being a bit older. I'm struggling with how to convey that this character is older than any of the human characters, but still pretty young and inexperienced compared to the other elves. It's ok if you don't, don't feel like you have to answer.
Ah! Well, I think the best place to start there is to consider what living and expecting to live a very long time would do to a person. You know how people in real life often gain a keener sense of what actually matters as they grow older? Imagine that but magnified several times over for old elves. I think old elves, like we're talking 550+, do not give a fuck. Nothing fazes them. They've seen it all. You could run naked across a plaza screaming "THE CABBAGES ARE NEAR" like your ass is on fire and you'd get little more than an eyebrow raise and a wry comment out of them.
Middle aged elves (300-550) are probably the most well adjusted and comfortable with the ebb and flow of life. They may have loved and lost a few times, had a few different long-running careers, or finally achieved completion of a project they've been working on for a very long time. They've seen some shit, but they haven't quite seen everything, so they've still got a zest for life. They've also probably learned how to handle failure and grief really well by then. And they've probably lived through too many "end of days" times to take that shit seriously anymore.
Young adult elves (100-300) I imagine to be more...emotional, especially those in only their second century. That's when they're really starting to get hit with what it means to be an elf and to live a long time. They are constantly losing shorter lived friends and loved ones from their youth to old age while elven society is celebrating them just reaching full adulthood. Can you imagine how it would feel to be an elf who married a human when you were both in your 30's and you watched your spouse grow old and die while you stayed young and then only a decade or so later, your elven peers are like "Happy Centennial! Congrats! You're an adult now! Let's throw a big party!" Like, the angst, bro. Young adult elves have gotta be the angstiest fucks. It's like when you're 20 and you have to act like an adult and the idea of independence is exciting but there's also that grief of everything you're leaving behind and that fear of what comes next. Also people now expect you to start having accomplishments. It's a fucking mess.
Elves 20-99 (I like to call this period pre-centennial, since "child" and "adolescent" don't really seem appropriate) are probably in the zestiest part of their life. The world is their oyster. They're physically mature now and can really start exploring all that life has to offer. It is the time of fucking around and finding out. Travel! Study a craft! Train in a discipline! Get married! Have kids! Thot it up! Devote yourself to a cause! Become a murder hobo! Whatever strikes your fancy.
Okay, so now that we've sort of parsed elven stages of life, let's talk about age difference dynamics. You've got an elf who's past his centennial, but is still young. This is the Getting Attached To Humans Will Make Me Too Sad period of life. Perhaps your elf is reluctant to grow close to humans and keeps them at arm's length. Perhaps he's a bit casual about things that humans find to be a bigger deal, especially with regards to how long some things take. Perhaps he really plays up the whole "I'm older than you" thing in some fashion. To older elves, though, perhaps he's an angst machine that needs to chill out. Perhaps they ask him about his long term goals or have expectations of him. A good general comparison would be like...he talks to humans like an 80 year old talks to a 20 year old and other elves talk to him like a 40 year old talks to a 20 year old.
Hope this helps!

Thankyou for your comment about that Chick a fil fan person. They don't seem to have any insight at all, to "deliberately touch him" and ask if he gets attacked? It's creepy. They're old enough to know better. But I think he wants to be seen, he could afford to get someone to pick up take away for him. It's like that cafe in Paris, from the servers account he kept talking until she asked him if he was TC and got a photo with him. So I don't know, it seems to have a purpose.
Hey Nonny! Thank you for your message.
I get where you're coming from but I feel like, even if we agree, there's more to say around your thoughts for them not to be taken in the wrong way.
I don't now how old this/these fan(s) are but even if they're not that young, they're young enough to have grew up with different codes and more importantly they're not old enough to understand every way how they grew up has an impact on their behavior. They don't understand that getting "deliberately touched" is something Tim (and every famous person in his position) must have experienced a thousand times already. That he sees right through them even if they try to act chill about it. They don't understand that they're sharing pieces of lives that don't belong to them, lives of people who have have huge needs to keep these very few pieces of their life for them because they're public people.
But how could they? They're sharing every detail of their lives online almost since the day they were born and they grew up seeing everybody around them doing the same thing, from their mom sharing pics of their food on Facebook to their high school friend who did a "what I eat in a week" video every month on youtube and became a micro-influencer doing so to their favorite singer vlogging through their promo. They grew up in a time where everybody is a famous person in the making and every famous person is a friend you can talk to with the phone in your pocket. Of course they see nothing wrong by telling everybody what Timmy's order is or when and how he was there.
That's why I'm more about opening up a conversation than saying they're disrespectful or should know better, even if I'm not sure any of them is on tumblr but maybe somehow the topic will end up on instagram or tiktok or whatever.
About Timmy. I haven't done this in a while but let's talk. And first let's remember two things about him: a) 99% of people who met him have perceived him as a nice person, b) he has anxiety about what people will think of him every time he knows the interaction he's having at the moment has a chance to be a worldwide news in the following 24hrs. So him chatting with random people he's ordering food from could very much be a) him being nice because he's nice or b) him being nice because he doesn't want the world to think he's an ass (which could also be being nice in some people's book but you know, i love nuances) or a mix of the two at the same time. And not necessarily be about him wanting to be seen.
On that same thought and the whole he can go unnoticed when he wants to/he could have someone do it for him. To start with the latest, of course he could but why would he? If he's hungry and he's driving past a drive-in (lol) why wouldn't he do it himself? To not interact with 3 people who might recognize him and be happy to see him? What a way to become completely disconnected from the real world and end up like these not so enviable rich people who are unable to survive a day without the help of two PAs.
I do also think "he can go unnoticed if he wants to" doesn't mean the same thing in 2023 that it did in 2018. I do believe that he didn't only buy a 12 millions dollars house because he could make Apple pay for it but because it's an easy way for him to be safe when he's home. Which might not have been possible in a regular house or building. I do believe that going unnoticed for him now mostly mean either staying home or only go to private places (like someone else's house) or some of these exclusive places where you only fine rich people and have every chance to make you become an ass. And even if you can live with that, I bet sometimes he just wants to take a bite on a good old fast food and live the same life as us peasants. Does it qualify as "he wants to be seen"? Not sure. For me it's more like a "he wants that thing and he doesn't care if he's seen in the process."
Sorry, that's probably way more than anything you were asking for. I hope you don't mind me sharing some (long) ideas around your own thoughts but since you stopped by my inbox, I guess you don't 😅😘

Hi, not sure what my question is really, just looking for some support. I'm 6 weeks post stage 2 (urethral hookup/ scrotoplasty/ vaginectomy). After a few infections and a blocked catheter that required an A&E visit, I was 'healed' enough to try to pee standing up (before they remove my catheter).
However, the urethra hook up has completely failed, and the stream just comes out of a hole under the new scrotum. Im devastated. It's been a really tough recovery for me, I've been in pain most days with the supra pubic catheter, and having it for 6 weeks has been almost torture. To now have to face peeing out of a hole for the foreseeable future, until a repair surgery can be organised, and then go through all the recovery again, has really sent my mental health downwards. Anything I do read online or vlogs about stage 2 is guys celebrating finally getting to pee standing up and the relief of having the surgery done. I'm grateful to have got this far, but it really knocks you back when things go wrong.
I don't feel like there is much support, when I look online at trans groups it's 99% people who've just started their transition, and want to know about T or top surgery, but very little about the later stages (I get that phallo is not for everyone). Just looking to hear from others who have been in a similar position and have successfully completed a repair surgery. I have so many questions there's no answers for, how long will I have to wait? What are the chances it will fail again? Sorry for the rant.. just hoping someone may be able to give me some advice
Hi Anon,
I know exactly how you feel. My stage 2 left me with the same, multiple infections and 6 weeks with a catheter which was really painful. I’ve been told that I clearly have a fistula and I’m now waiting on repair surgery.
It’s absolutely devastating when you realise that your surgery has failed, especially after bearing the pain of the catheter for so much longer and that ending up being for nothing.
Fistulas in stage 2 are very very common and as such Mr Christopher does not view them as a need for an urgent repair. So like you I have no idea when I’ll get my repair.
The complication rate for bottom surgery is hurrendously high. So lots of guys are coming out of surgery with complications and being left for unknown amounts of time.
There is no support for this sort of thing or enough being talked about the fact that while so many (understandably) want their first stage, it’s not until you experience complications that you realise how much this can effect you. The wait for repair surgery is a lot worse than waiting for your first stage. This is not something that will be understood until complications are experienced.
If you would like to send me a message off of Anon, I am happy to discuss this with your more.

Great selection, this took me a long while to hunt down the answers! From the Fandom end of year ask.
favourite fandom you joined this year
Bit of a cheat because it's a 'sub' fandom, but I'll say Andor (star wars). Avatar is right there, yes, but it doesn't have the oomph of Andor. Avatar has a ton of missing character development, and if the world were more approchable, I'd see myself doing a lot of fix its and missing scenes. Andor is difficult on the other hand because it's so perfect. Hard to feel like I have anything to add to the fandom. But it's the one show I've been rewatching to death and having so much respect for.
favourite fic of the year
This is basically impossible to piiiiick.
I'll mention Fathers & Daughters, even though it's my own, because you have to goddamn love a fic to spend more than a year slaving over it. And I dooo, and yes I AM working on the final chapter still, soz lol
The hottest smut I've read was Boundaries by Spiced, and well, I did nag about it when we discussed the idea, and it's a gift, but that doesn't change the fact it's the best :3 Very happy with it. It's hot by my ace standards. Basically very mindfuck focused. Fandom is Andor!
And then for multi chapter, I'm going to mention this absolutely insane and amazing FE3H complete fic To Those Who Are Never Going Home by MadameHyde. It's set after the game in an Empire win, where a lot of the Blue Lions find themselves teaching at Garrech Mach. I didn't read the tags so some reveals blew my little brain out of the water, it was amazing. Super prose, very character driven, really enjoyed it.
favourite fanart of the year
I thought this would be hard to answer, and then I realised it wouldn't be, actually, even if I'm cheating. BOTH these Maliketh fanarts have been my screen backgrounds for MONTHS. This one is on my phone and on my better Discord :
And this one is my laptop background :
They're dope and Maliketh is top pubber and I'm still obsessed with him. He's peak design and radiates blorbo energies. He's broken and I wanna fix him and pet him and--
favourite author of the year
@spicedrobot That one isn't too hard. I've read a LOT of their work this year, by vertue of doing a lot of beta swaps, and because they write some very delicious ships. They are responsible for 99% of my smut intake in 2022. Also I think it says a lot about an author that you can beta them every other day and never get tired of their unhinged content. They're just that good. (They are in a constant state of wrangling me over my terrible comma game, so they're also very patient and could have strangled me a long time ago, yet they didn't!)
favourite creator of the year
Very hard choice, especially when it's so broad and I've already struggled with the fanart one… But I'm going to go with :
@aromansoul. I just really love their art, and finding them through a shared Silco obsession was delightful. They have a very unique style, with colours that seem to float and come in and out of focus. You'll be staring at a super rendered area and it's perfect, and then you look elsewhere and realise half the drawing is just broad strokes… Absolutely tricks my mind, it's delightful. Also they have some fantastic unique designs of their own content that I think are dope.
favourite OC you met this year
Ah, finally an easy one! Meet Rain Drenched Mountain. He's @scuttlebuttin's Predator OC and he's very sweet. I love his design, his lore, and I think he has great taste. Very handsome lad and each time I see more art of him I feel like a little kid. I mean, Scuttlebuttin is a big favourite artist, and where they're not in a very very distressing blood-gore-clown period, I'm always thrilled to see what they post. Just check out their Odin fanart for the new God Of War, it's out of this world!!

If Sakura was so popular why is she one of the most universally hated female characters of all of anime and manga? I mean seriously you ask a fan of other series who are a fan of Naruto and you will likely hear them say Sakura is one if not their least favorite characters. This was the case long before the fandom lost their shit with Sakura not ending up with Naruto I've heard nothing but non-stop Sakura bashing anybody can go to forms before 2014 on any website and you will see soccer bashing almost Non-Stop these fans completely revise history and count on people being ignorant of the state of the Naruto fandom before the end of the manga.
I'm just being more and more convinced that most Sakura fans just hate the Naruto franchise in general and only like Sakura out of spite they're sad and pathetic people who can't move on that their shitty ship was never Canon and their stupid shit ruined what could have been a good Naruto movie I'm referring road to ninja that could have been great had it not forced a shitty ship that was never going to be Canon. I'm sorry if I'm come off as an angry Hinata fan who's sick and tired of dealing with a bunch of bullies who had done nothing productive with their lives except harass other fans and creators and act like complete children I can't name a signal fandom in any anime that's worse than Sakura if anyone can name one worse I Will Wait cuz I can't find any.
I know what you mean they are in denial, like Sakura had her moments, but 99% of the fandom are aware of how bad she is and notice all the bad things about her and her character and what she does.
Sakura fans try to convince themselves that Sakura is popular, but that was never the case, even in the official polls Sakura only gets votes cause she is shown so much since she is on the main characters teams. Every time Sakura is show you can easily pick out so many negative things about what is happening, what she does or how she acts. Sakura fans are the minority in that they refuse to see how bad Sakura is and basically hate the rest of the fandom and Naruto franchise out of spite.
Road to Ninja would have been really good without it forcing the NaruSaku parts. Like really it could focused more on how Naruto takes RTN Hinata loving him. Even if it wasn't canon would have been nice to see Naruto getting flustered over Hinata and for her to give some heartfelt words for why she looks him. Plus Menma clearly wasn't interested in RTN Sakura so likely he would have gotten with Hinata sooner. They could have made a contrast since Menma seems to have given in to hatred and how people mistreated him after he became a Jinchūriki and how while his life was nice it wasn't all good as Menma wouldn't have gone through the big events that lead to Naruto finally earning acceptance from the village.
And RTN Hinata's personality could have been somthing she developed cause she wanted to defend Menma from the public criticism he got after he became a Jinchūriki. You know how normal Hinata couldn't approach Naruto due to her family crushing her confidence it could have been the opposite with RTN not having her confidence crush and instead becoming protective of Naruto. However because of Sakura he mistakes Hinata for a fangirl. Also having RTN Naruto be the only one to figure out that Naruto wasn't Menma on her own but still notice how similar they are.
They could have played around with the movie in a lot of ways if they didn't force the NaruSaku parts. It's really annoying as it was made after Pain, but also after Hinata and Naruto had that Zetsu scene during the war. Basically feels like the team had NaruSaku fans who weren't happy about NaruHina gaining momentum and tried to force the end ship to get changed by putting NaruSaku as the movie focuses in hopes it would gain traction.

LONG RANTY ASK AHEAD; SORRY IN ADVANCE
I think people who go “oh you can’t like cogs they’re capitalists and colonizers” are… lame? I guess? I mean yeah they’re fucked up, but toons aren’t sunshine and rainbows and complete innocence: toons regularly kill cogs, albeit temporarily, unless we’re talking about Clash. Because a toon KILLED a suit in Clash. That is an important event. TOONS landed the first casualty within the Clash continuity. And even outside of Atticus, Toons regularly assault and destroy cogs! Idk if it’s the case in other private servers and continuities, but in Clash, you as the player are regularly asked to kill specific cogs to HARVEST THEIR BODY PARTS. Toons aren’t fully innocent, and Cogs aren’t complete demons. At least Cogs don’t actually kill Toons, they just make us really sad for a while! And hell, most of the time, Toons are approaching Suits first, initiating battle usually on our terms. I’m 99% sure that buildings aren’t a thing outside of Clash!
Speaking of which, to elaborate a little more on Clash Toons and their crimes, since the post that got me riled up about this was bashing Clash for having interesting characters (none of the toon npcs except Tumbles are even remotely interesting)…
Besides from Atticus actually literally dying, toons have done at least one other extremely fucked up thing. Winston is a prisoner of war. The things the Elders did to him definitely violates the Geneva Convention, mostly pertaining to the treatment of POWs like him. No matter what anyone does, SOLITARY CONFINEMENT is always unethical and fucked up. Flippy and Lowden clearly know about and seemingly SANCTION it, allowing the Elders to just… keep a man caged up in absolute isolation?! Fucked up! And that’s on top of us pretty much POACHING Suits! Taking parts of Pencil Pushers for purposefully bad pies, taking springs to shake seltzer water, toons clearly have pencils and springs of their own, and yet we get asked to kill cogs for this stuff???? And that’s just a few examples! In Daffodil Gardens, you get asked to seek out and take the bones of sellbots! Suits can be rebuilt, sure, and even flunkies get rebuilt. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not absolutely fucked up that we are killing suits to take parts of their bodies.
Also, saying someone can’t like a character because they’re evil is like… really stupid? We aren’t glorifying and romanticizing colonization or capitalism, we just find COGs more compelling than Toons. That’s how it is with villains. But it really pissed me off how they brought up all this stuff about Clash, then disregarded all the horrible shit Toons do.
Hey anon, I think this is a pretty well thought out argument. Not the most politely worded, but your point does come across easily. I'm not going to make a public statement on this topic since sharing any of my beliefs is a good way to start drama and conflicts that I don't wish to partake in.
That being said, there are exactly two objective facts I would like to point out.
In TTR and also in several of the original TTO tasks, you as the player are indeed tasked with taking parts from Cogs on several occasions. As for other servers, I couldn't say because I haven't played them.
If you're talking about Cog buildings, those have been a thing since TTO. They are not a Clash exclusive feature.
Obviously you made this ask anonymously, but if you made a blog post about it and sent it to me then I'd be more than happy to read it! I'd recommend conducting yourself professionally if you went that route because people are otherwise more likely to get very emotional and make a big deal over everything {and I personally find arguments written in a calm, professional manner much more convincing}, but it's your blog so at the end of the day it's really all up to you.

I haven’t watched the Logan Paul interview yet but what was so disappointing about it besides the drinking? X
I 👏 need 👏 your 👏 reaction to LP on that Logan Paul podcast. So many thoughts.
_
Sigh... so many thoughts and like 99% of them not good ones!
I knew it was going to be a bit shitty, but I wasn't expecting it to be a complete mess from start to finish. From the drinking while recording (which was like noon there), to the kind of drunk confessions till the end. All the talk about being wasted most of his life and a bit of cringy stuff about his own mental health that were a bit scary to me. Last year he was so self aware of his problems during the podcast he did with Steven Bartlett, now it's like he doesn't give a flying fuck of how his public image is affected by all of it.
Then all the mentions about wanting to fight people were super weird to me. The fact that he and Steve (his manager) apparently have a lot of physical fights... that doesn't seem to be a very healthy relationship in my opinion!
And don't get me started on the whole "I dislike Zayn" narrative that they now seemed to think was a good idea! The only thing that kind of made sense through that whole rant was that he will always understand Zayn because he knows what he has been through.
In conclusion, all of it seemed super cringy and so weird. Showing a very fake persona that didn't seemed okay at all. I'm a bit speechless but definitely don't recommend this shit to anyone.
Btw this could be my covid brain making me a bit harsh, but I didn't like it at all!

Hi! Sorry in advance for my bad English! I wanted to get your opinion. Why do you think Harrison does so little in movies/series? Is he too picky about his roles or is there too much competition? Don't get me wrong. I understand that it's not easy being an actor and especially getting a part, but over the years hasn't he had an offer even for a minor role!!!? Sometimes I think he wants to do major roles and big projects, but not everyone is so lucky and by turning down small roles he misses his chance. I've been following him since 2017 and am really worried about his career. Only 2 series in 6 years (I'm not counting short films and 1 minute cameos in Tom's movies). Catch 22 is a good show, but Harrison is 10 minutes long. And the series "the regulars" was a flop, although I liked it. It's not a masterpiece, but it's not too bad either. I think there were big bets on this series, especially Harrison's, but in the end it was unlucky. And this year we have another series in which Harrison will have a small role. I just want the best for him! And a second question. I'm almost 99% sure that Harrison is auditioning for the role of Johnny Storm. He has said himself that he would like to play him and more than once. But what are the chances of him getting the role? He has very little acting experience and I'm afraid that's not in his favor. He has a great friendship and chemistry with Tom Holland and I think they would show it perfectly through Peter and Johnny if they ever crossed paths in the movies. And I know that Harrison and Tom stopped interacting on social media so that Harrison could develop as an independent person and actor. And that's the right thing to do. Because there will be those who will say that he gets roles because of his friendship with Tom. It doesn't work that way, though. And I'm glad he took that route. And I really wish him luck and lots of good roles!
Your English is wonderful!
He said that The Irregulars put him into a new bracket of acting jobs in the last interview he did, and he's mentioned auditioning somewhat recently, too.
He's also gone to some acting workshops that posted photos of their participants on Instagram, as recently as this past week, so he's obviously still interested in acting and working on honing his craft.
However, at the moment, he seems to be heavily involved in promoting the rum brand he cofounded, HAMA. There have been events, and he's made at least one appearance at an unrelated event where he was photographed with a bottle. He also took photos while he was in New York City of him holding a bottle in a variety of locations.
I wonder if he was in the US for audition(s) then. I don't know how that works these days. The role he took in the anthology series that's coming out later this year had a completely virtual audition process. He mentioned his height being brought up by someone who met him in person for the first time and thought he'd be taller.
I'm more heavily leaning toward him being picky about what roles he auditions for and being involved with multiple ventures.
If he has auditioned or is auditioning for Johnny Storm, I'm sending him all the good vibes. He does have a lead role in a Netflix series under his belt, which isn't a small role like his role in Catch-22 was, so hopefully that will help get him in the door.
It would be really cool to see him on the big screen with Tom! I don't really go to see movies in theaters very often, and I would definitely go see that.
But I very much hope he finds happiness in whatever he ends up doing -- whether that be acting, being an entrepreneur, or something else entirely.
