yes, even if they're the same surgeries! and yes, even if the cis person is intersex!

that does not make a cisgender person meaningfully "trans" in any way what are you people talking about?

being transgender is kinda, fundamentally about being a different gender than you were assigned at birth! and the societal pressures that come with being that are always going to be different than someone who has the same gender that society assigns them!

like this line of thought implies that, being transgender is just a process of surgeries and hormones and medicalization? which, i shouldn't have to tell you that's transphobic but it kinda fuckin is !

Some time later, he's got the realization that oh, huh, he likes Usopp. And oh, ugh, he likes the Cook too. And he might lament his own feelings about it, but eventually he tells them and then Zoro has two boyfriends.

And then one morning, Usopp comes to breakfast looking incredibly sleepy, and casually gives a "Morning, babe" to Zoro before taking his seat.

And Zoro finds he likes that. He really really likes it. And he's definitely showing it on his face somehow because soon after Sanji is ranting and raving about Zoro being an absolute hypocrite, because how dare he complain all this time about Sanji and Usopp calling each other honey and cher and darling, when he was just as bad as them-

Usopp is more awake now and trying not to laugh, for Zoro's sake. Zoro is very red and keeps trying to interrupt Sanji, but Sanji just talks louder over him. Zoro would start a fight, but Sanji hadn't finished serving breakfast yet and his arms are full of plates so he's forced to suffer.

actually since the dashboard is throwing both sides of the worlds stupidest fucking argument at me I’m gonna go ahead and say I think "start a new paragraph when you'd imagine the camera angle changing" is GREAT writing advice precisely because it tells you absolutely fucking nothing.

there are films with jumpy editing that cuts to a new shot every five seconds. There are films that are entirely made up of one continuous shot. Those two styles evoke completely different feelings in an audience. Similarly, a piece of writing with zero paragraph breaks is gonna feel incredibly different than a piece of writing with constant paragraph breaks.

the same way different camera angles and shots are tools for filmmakers to use, paragraph and line breaks are tools for writers to use, and it’s up to the individual writer to choose how to most effectively use them.
