Okay okay okay
Leo, but he has to stay quiet
Or
Donnie wthout his tech
Who takes the victory?
OOF this is hard-
Because we see both of them mature and grow throughout the show on how to fight successfully without banter and without tech. (The season 1 finale showed that while their own fighting style was better for them, they still had a lot of skills without talking during the fight or relying on tech. And then they took the best of both worlds in the next season and the movie.)
All things considered, I think that Leo would win. He is more strategic when it comes to fighting, while Donnie is more of schematics. For a while though, I think the two would be very evenly matched!! Leo would likely wear him down after a while.
#I love the twins so much omg#disaster twins for life#they are precious#and I really do feel like the two would be evenly matched for a while#it's a shame we never really got to see them sparring each other#like in the 2012 show#*cough cough thanks Nickelodeon*#*side eye*#sorry Don I really think Leo would win tho#asks#ask me anything!#blog#rottmnt#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles: the movie#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#teenage mutant ninja turtles#rottmnt leo#rottmnt donnie#leo#donnie#leonardo hamato#donatello hamato#turtles

I used to see Sephiroth and think “damn he’s the Marilyn Monroe of video games and anime,” but after delving into his backstory and seeing Crisis Core/Reunion and Ever Crisis I just feel sad.
I mean when you think about it he really had no one. He only knew Glenn, Matt, and Lucia for that one mission but he never forgot about them, despite all of them leaving him behind. Then Angeal and Genesis who- I’m sorry, I know this is also an unpopular opinion- also treated him like crap. To me it always seemed like Genesis didn’t really care about Sephiroth at all. We’ve never seen him being nice to him, even prior to degrading. During that one spar we saw of them three Genesis really seemed like he was going for the throat and like he was letting his rage and jealousy take over, and Angeal had to break them up. At first I used to think that at least Angeal was a decent friend to Sephiroth, but the more I think about it the more it seemed like he was on Genesis’ side because he was his childhood friend and simply acted as a peacekeeper between them three than anything else. Sephiroth didn’t hesitate to offer his blood/cells when Genesis needed it and Angeal even commented on how Sephiroth had lost weight when he sees him the last time, probably from stress and depression.
So not only did he never have friends who cared about him and who he always cared more for than they cared for him, he was also raised in a lab his entire childhood by a psycho who’s his biological father (he didn’t know about that part but it’s still horribly messed up.) And even with all of that he still grew up to be a good person- before all the trauma drove him crazy. He still wanted to genuinely help and save people, and he got attached so quickly. Even with every reason to be horrible he wasn’t, until the whole dam of emotions and mistreatment broke.
Sorry for the long post. I was just looking back at the Seph lore and started feeling really sad 😕
Sephiroth is a very tragic character, and he was failed by every adult in his life from the very beginning, first by his parents—one being an unethical twat and the other being his mother, someone who he would later come to really yearn for and had no idea she was part of the reason why his life was the way it was. He was Shinra's lap dog from birth to Nibelheim, and the only respite he had from it all were his friendships—and he was an extremely loyal friend to everyone. He was loyal even to SOLDIER despite the program being part of the problem.
It appears Glenn, Matt and Lucia were his first friends who really taught him what it was like to care for other people. The thing is: the FS trio were as much of Shinra's pawns as Sephiroth—albeit to a lesser extend because Seph was their golden boy. And so were Genesis and Angeal. They were victims of the Jenova Project too, and had every right to be angry, and Genesis' actions are more understandable (not excusable) once you take into account how the degradation likely preyed on his mental state. Genesis and Angeal are complex characters, but unfortunately we don't have as much narrative context and content for them as we have for Sephiroth, which ultimately makes Sephiroth easier to sympathize with despite what he goes on to become later. He's an incredibly tragic character who everyone rightfully adores, also because of who he was as character Pre-Nibelheim, before he understandably lost his mind. It's a damn shame so many people disregard the compilation, because there's so much of Seph's backstory to be explored that adds even more depth to his character.
I think Genesis and Angeal were good friends to Sephiroth, but you have to understand that they were both degrading while Sephiroth was (physically) fine. So of course they latched onto each other and left Sephiroth behind, especially if they thought Sephiroth wouldn't understand their desertion and wouldn't abandon Shinra to come with them. I don't think they were bad friends, but they—Genesis especially—underestimated how good of a friend he was to them. I hope chapter 2 of FS can show Sephiroth and Angeal's (fingers crossed Genesis too) friendship before the crisis ever started. Only then will we know what their dynamic was like.

Connor and the Brat {Part 4}
A/N: Ellis and Olivia are going cause quite a mess in the next few parts for our dear Brat and Doctor Rhodes. I think I’m gonna make their ages Brat (25/26) and Connor about 10 years older. Also Brat actually needs a name so I will have to decide but right now we have Mackenzie, Cleo, Eleanora, Ravenna, and Niamh.
TW: Victim shaming, victim blaming, ‘slut’ shaming (basically bullies blaming Brat for being SA’d) NSSI. If you are uncomfortable with any of these things please don’t read any further of this part. Your mental health is important please remember that ❤️
Connor had originally planned to just had straight to Goodwins office after leaving the psych ward but after seeing the two nurses laughing and giggling he couldn’t help but have tunnel vision and storm towards them. Olivia’s eyes widened and she hurried to fix her hair and smooth down her scrubs, Ellis following her lead and they both smiled at Connor in a (what he assumed to be) seductive manner. “This is the 14th day in a row you’ve been up here Dr. Rhodes, you got a crush?” He really should have just not said anything but a dry chuckle made it’s way out of his mouth.
“Jealousy isn’t an attractive qualities ladies.” They seemed taken aback but he was in attack mode now for how they had treated and spoken to Brat. “No man wants to be with a woman who intentionally tries to keep other women in a psych ward.” Olivia looked like she wanted to say something but he held his hand up tk stop her. “Intentionally sabotaging someone’s treatment plan is more than enough reason to get fired, having them be baked in a shower room for more than an hour? I can make sure you don’t ever get a nursing job ever again.” Ellis fixed her mouth into a firm line.
“I should’ve known she’s run to you, she’s your little pet. Maybe if she had dressed more appropriately she wouldn’t have been raped. She probably liked it and that’s why she didn’t tell anyone.” Even Olivia seemed taken back by what Ellis had said, Connor had never wanted to hit a woman before but he would have no issue with laying her out cold on the hospital floor.
“She didn’t have to run to me you both ran your mouth to Ava in moments of jealousy and she told me. And even if she did she had every right to. You have no business being on the psych floor if this is how you talk about your patients.” The three had been so busy verbally sparring with each other they hadn’t heard Dr. Charles or Ms. Goodwin walking yo behind them.
“Perhaps we should discuss this in my office.” Connor watched as the color drained from both Olivia and Ellis’ faces. He nodded and walked in behind the two nurses. “Now what I just overheard Dr. Rhodes say along with what Dr. Reese and Dr. Bekker have to say has me greatly concerned. Why are two of my psych nurses bullying a patient because she has a good report with Dr. Rhodes?”
“But she only wants Dr. Rhodes. She refuses to behave for anyone else, it’s clear she’s infatuated with him and he’s being unprofessional in continuing to see her.” Connor was honestly shocked that Ellis felt like Goodwin wanted her to open her mouth right now.
“Be that as it may Dr. Charles and Dr. Reese are both aware of how often Dr. rhodes is there and have not expressed any concern so it is not your concern. Even if they had expressed concern what you two did is behind reprehensible. You will both be assigned to new floors pending an investigation and up to termination.” Olivia had started silently crying but Ellis looked like she could stab any and everyone right now. It’s probably best she didn’t go back to the psych ward because he knew she would go after Brat. “You badges have been restricted from you going up to the psych ward as well. Ellis you will be under Dr. Rhodes as his nurse and Olivia you will be with Dr. Bekker.” Oh Ava will eat Olivia alive after this he’s sure. “Are there any other concerns I need to address?” Ellis opened her mouth like she had more to say but quickly closed it and shook her head. Smart woman.
“Connor why don’t you go discuss the new situation with Ms. Scott before group seeing as how your shift is over?” Dr. Charles spoke up and Connor nodded before exiting the office. One thing still bothered him though. Why were Ellis and Olivia gunning after Brat so hard?

extra help | gojo satoru
what’s a teacher to do when his student is building up so much cursed energy? help her get it under control, of course.
pairing: gojo satoru x f!reader
wc: 4.7k
warnings: smut, 18+ (minors dni), teacher/student relations (reader is of age), fingering, oral (f receiving), dirty talk, sir kink, unprotected sex (do not do this), lowkey corruption, squirting, exhibitionism (?), creampie, gojo refers to himself as “teacher” because i said so
note: barely edited, something to ease the brainrot. gojo satoru hollow me challenge.
“Can you maybe, I don’t know, shut the fuck up?”
The jab spews out of your mouth before you can stop it. Your filter is long gone, the thoughts that pop into your head forming into verbal words without the chance to even process them. Once you hear it, you mentally slap yourself. Now you just look like an asshole.
“Jeez, no need to be a bitch about it,” mutters Nobara. She rests on the concrete steps on her elbows, appearing utterly disinterested with her head tossed back and eyes closed, soaking in the fresh air.
“I’m not being a bitch.”
“Yes, you are.”
“I’m not!”
“You kind of are,” Megumi says quietly, shrugging slightly when your incredulous expression finds his to be stoic and unmoving. He leans down to scratch behind one of his dog’s ears. His nonchalance boils your blood even further, effectively working you up past your melting point. A bitter laugh leaves your mouth.
“...You motherfucker-”
“Good morning, everybody!”
You sigh, lips hanging open with the rest of your insult frozen where it was interrupted. From over the small hill behind you, Gojo Satoru greets everyone with a bright energy you aren’t capable of returning this early in the day.
You try your best to shake it off. The other students wave back happily as you sulk, aimlessly stretching your arms over your head in an attempt to push out the thousand things running through your mind, not one of which you’re capable of dealing with.
And maybe it is a good morning - the sun is out, the air is cool, there’s not a breeze passing by to mess up your hair. It’s a lovely day to be training. Megumi has been walking his dogs around the field, Yuuji has been racing himself from one end to the other, meanwhile the others take turns sparring. The springtime weather is rewarding, which is why it’s such a shame you can’t enjoy it.
Gojo reaches up a hand to lift one side of his blindfold. Though he’s standing all the way over on the steps, you can see his eyes clearly, crystalline blue and staring with scrutiny. The man leans forward into his gaze, and the way he’s inspecting you soon irritates you further.
“What’s with all the cursed energy?” he asks, letting his blindfold fall over his eye again.
Yuuji perks up at the comment from where he’s been sitting after his run, pulling out blades of grass between his fingertips. “So it’s not just me?” he pipes up, pushing himself up to his feet. He seems relieved, turning his attention to you. “I thought maybe you just had a bad day but it seems like it’s seeping off you all the time now.”
Your lips press into a thin line as your eyelids droop in annoyance, trying to think up a reasonable answer quick. Unfortunately, you don’t get the time to do so.
“I don’t need to see it to feel it,” Maki adds. She finishes tying up her laces, objectivity unmoving with the deadpan spreading across your features. Your jaw tenses. “Didn’t want to say anything in case it would make you angrier.”
“Too late!” you snap, huffing as you place your arms over your chest. The number of eyes on you has your cheeks burning, and paired with your current vexation, makes you feel even worse.
“Well, what are you angry about?” Yuuji asks.
“I’m not angry about anything.”
“That sounds a little defensive,” Gojo comments.
“You seem frustrated, that’s all.” Yuuji looks at you with a genuine curiosity that makes it hard to be mad at him. His doe eyes couldn’t possibly imagine what the real issue at hand is.
“Yeah, she’s frustrated all right,” Nobara juts in. Her tone is whiney and annoyed, and you hope the glare you send her will shut her up, but she acts as if she doesn’t see it, only looking down at her nails in distaste. Then comes the zinger. “It’s because she hasn’t gotten laid in months.”
“That is not true!” you yell, but the obvious rage bubbling out of you gives it away.
“Cursed energy can build from that?”
“It would explain a lot.”
“That sounds definitely defensive.”
“Shut up!” you shout, throwing your hands over your face to hide your cheeks burning in embarrassment. Then you’re sitting back on the field, hanging your head low over your knees. Quietly, you mutter, “You promised you wouldn’t say anything.”
☆☆☆
“You wanted to see me, sir?”
The walk here had been nerve wracking enough. Your heart had been stuck in your throat since the track this morning, if not from the sheer embarrassment of Nobara telling everyone you were sexually frustrated, then surely from the way Gojo had asked you to meet with him later in an old classroom rather seriously before walking off.
It scared you half to death upon hearing it, and just thinking about it scared the other half, so you’re hanging on by the thinnest of threads. The others comments hadn’t helped either, teasing about the frightening methods he’d use to dispel the energy, or how he’d berate you for being so stupid, or whatever else the maniac of a man had to offer.
Gojo leans back lazily in his chair, long legs thrown over the desk for his comfort and leisure. He stretches, letting out a satisfied groan with his arms straightened behind his head as you close the door behind you.
“About time you got here. Been waiting forever.”
The lights are off, but evening sun pours in through the wall of windows that look out over the courtyard to brighten the room. He tosses a small apple plush above him with a smooth flick of his wrist, catching it on its down arc with ease. It looks like a marble with how it sits in his massive palms.
“Well, this wing is on the other side of campus,” you swallow, fiddling with your fingers absentmindedly. That reminds you...“Why are we this far, anyway?”
He sighs, placing the toy back down at the top of his desk and resting his chin on his palm. You can feel his eyes on you through his blindfold. “To solve your problem, of course.”
“My… my problem? No, I don’t have any problems,” you say with a shake of your head as genuine as you can muster, a nervous smile flashing across your expression as he stands. His hand trails along the desk as he moves around it. When you get the feeling he doesn’t believe you, you start again, “If it’s about what Nobara said, it’s really no big deal-”
“While you’re a talented sorcerer, you’re not a very good liar.” He comes to a stop in front of you, towering over your small frame. His head is turned down toward you but you refrain from making eye contact. Trying to maintain your composure, you look straight into his chest and then avert your eyes to the sid, looking anywhere else in the room but him - the chalkboard, the windows, the posters on the wall - that is, until he takes your chin in his hand and tugs your face up to look at him directly.
He’s taken off his blindfold, the black cloth crumpled in his palm and already tossed to the floor.
The way you’re staring at him, that desire that lies just below the fear, has his dick tenting in his pants. When he focuses, he can see the cursed energy radiating from your body, dark and cloudy as it surrounds you. “Yuuji’s right, it’s practically seeping from you,” he coos, eyebrows drawn together in concern.
He drinks in your apprehension with a sadistic sort of delight, and you don’t miss the feel of his eyes as they trace down your body. “My student is struggling,” he says tenderly, tapping his index finger along your cheek lightly. “What kind of teacher would I be if I didn’t help?”
He eats up the way you look at him, swept away and hazy, your brain turning to mush at the sound of his voice. Heat pools in your panties, and the subtle manner in which your thighs shift against each other is not lost on him.
The tension in the air is electrifying. Leaning down to your ear, he says what’s been on his mind for weeks. “Don’t think I can’t hear you at night, touching yourself, trying so hard to make it go away on your own.”
His words leave your throat dry and stomach churning. Your face burns, thinking of him listening to your pitiful attempts to get off. Clearly, the sleepless nights of trying to cum, letting slip the small whimpers you couldn’t care to hold back, hands buried in your panties and writhing in your bed sheets, were no secret to anyone but you.
You’re almost mortified. You would be, if it wasn’t for your hot teacher standing in front of you, smiling as he remembers how pretty you sounded, offering to fuck the shit out of you to sate your frustration.
And god, just how pretty you sound. He’d never admit it sober, but the times he’s taken “random” late night walks around the buildings that have ended up at the outside of your bedroom door are far too many to count. Palming himself through his trousers, panting as he pictures you just through the slab of wood exactly how he plans on having you now.
“I...I don’t know if we should be doing this,” you mumble in a moment of clarity, gaze flickering to the window in the door that lets you see into the empty hallway just outside. Swallowing hard, scenarios of your classmates walking by, peering through, clouds your head. “What if someone…”
“They’re on the other side of campus, remember?” he teases. His fingers slide back along your jaw, brushing your hair from your forehead before settling to cup the side of your face. “You can make all the noise you want out here.”
Heat spreads through your core and inner thighs accompanied by a visible shiver, a pleased grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. The proximity alone is making you wet. His presence is overwhelming with the unimaginable power he holds over you.
His neck tilts down to reach you, hovering with his lips not a breath away from yours. Gojo waits. Tentative, you press your mouth to his and your eyes flutter shut, feeling him smile as his hands make contact with your hips. He’s gentle and slow, his lips pillowy and soft against yours, moving carefully as if not to scare you away.
He muffles a timid whimper with his mouth and takes the lead, kissing you harder and pulling you into a firm lip lock before spinning you around and walking you backwards toward the desk. Hesitant hands reach up to his shoulders, something Gojo senses immediately, shy hands working up the confidence to splay over his broad shoulders. He knows you so well by now - there’s a reason you’re his favorite student.
“Let me help, princess,” he insists, breaking away to quell your uncertainty. “You know I’m the only one who can.” Gojo’s voice is hypnotizing, his promises filling your head with a desiring haze.
Your tiny, timid fingers hanging around his neck, crawling up his nape as if searching for safety, have him reeling. He might just devour you, so cute and innocent and willing in front of him.
You’re melting into his touch as his hands squeeze your hips, rubbing up your sides until they lay a firm grasp on your hips, sitting you fully on the desk. His touch is teasing and featherlight as he drags it up your calves, hiking up your skirt to get where he wants to be, situated right between your thighs.
“None of the other guys fuck you the way you need to be fucked, right?”
He may be cocky, but it’s for good reason.
Gojo Satoru is older, he’s experienced, he knows what he’s doing. He knows you, in fact, more than you think. Don’t be fooled - he sees you sneaking off campus, sees the texts you send to the boys in the nearest town, overhears how you talk to them over the phone when you think no one is listening. He also sees how disappointed you look every time you return from one of your escapades.
You’re mature for your age, but no one is willing to fuck you like it. Except him, of course.
A large hand cradles the back of your head to keep kissing you. His mouth is ravishing, absolutely eating up the feeble mewls that escape you. Deft fingers unbutton your uniform with ease and slip it down your shoulders to reveal your chest as if he’s done it a thousand times.
He moves to unclasp your bra, but is surprised to meet your bare skin. He pulls back from your mouth to meet your eyes, and you already know what he’s thinking with the way he looks down at you, head tilted back with a dark mirth.
“No bra?” he inquires, rolling your perky buds between his fingers, and your lack of verbal response, that guilt in the slight raise of your eyebrows, tells him everything he needs to know. “Naughty girl. Makes me think you were expecting this.” He makes you purr like a kitten, free hand kneading at your chest, coaxing out sweet little noises that make his dick throb in his pants.
You inhale sharply at a particular tweak of your nipple that has your body tingling, arching into him. “Sir, I-”
His mouth is on your neck, sucking on that sensitive spot below your ear, just next to your jaw. The feel of his teeth gently scraping down sends chills through your shoulders and down your back, subconsciously tilting your head to the side and exposing more to him, inviting him to your body even further.
“It’s okay, you can tell me how bad you need my cock,” he says against your skin.
Your body flushes hot beneath him. A hand cups your clothed core. The friction has your hips lifting in desperate motions for more, pushing against his fingers for some kind of relief.
“Poor thing, too horny for your own good,” he says, peering down at you. He tugs at the tiny, delicate bow sewn into the lace band of your panties, a smug expression passing over his features. “But don’t worry, teacher’s here to make you feel better.”
He hooks his pointer finger underneath the center of your panties and pulls it up, forcing the fabric taught against your slit between your folds, urging a cry to fall from your lips. You’re absolutely aching for more, pussy desperate for contact as your hips buck. His opposite thumb goes straight to your swollen clit where it bulges through the thin cotton, reducing you to whines as he applies light pressure.
“So sensitive,” he says with a teasing lilt in his tone, caught between looking at your pussy and your dazed expression. “You want my fingers?”
He knows he’s supposed to be helping you, but he can’t stop himself with how cute you look like this. He’s already thinking of just how far he can push you, just what he can get you to admit to him.
“Yes, please,” you’re begging, pulling your lips under your teeth, and how can he say no? He has no other choice but to indulge you.
He pulls your panties to the side and finally, his long, thick fingers sink inside you without warning, pushing a lewd moan from your throat.
He groans at the way you pulse around his digits. Your walls suck him right in. “Fuck, look at your pretty little cunt. Feels good, huh?”
Your mouth falls open as you nod, staring at him through half-mast, glassy eyes. Light amusement covers his face as he works your walls diligently, curling up and massaging that spongy spot he knows you like from the sounds you’re making.
“Yeah, I know it does. Need it so bad, don’t you?”
“Yes, ah, need it so much,” you whine. At this point, you’d follow his every command, answer his every question, if it means he’ll keep doing what he’s doing. He connects his lips to yours again, swallowing up the noises that leave your throat, before moving down. He trails his mouth over your sensitive, flushed skin, burning to the touch as he leaves harsh, bruising marks behind. He’s kneeling down and throwing your legs over his shoulders without hesitation.
He has you desperate and shameless with how he’s making you feel. It doesn’t matter that he’s your teacher, it doesn’t matter that you’ll have to face him in class after the fact, all that matters is how hot and aching your core is, how bad you need him there to fix it. “More, sir, p-please.”
He groans at the name you’ve given him, that you’re addressing him by so earnestly. He never even asked you to, so when it spills out of your mouth so submissively, he can’t help the way it goes straight to his cock. “So polite, aren’t you? Let me hear you, be specific.”
His fingers leave you clenching around nothing as he pulls them out of you, watching the string of slick stretch until it breaks. He slips them right into his mouth, licking your arousal off of his fingers, humming in delight.
You’re fixated on his glossy, wet lips, entranced by the slight smile to his words. “Please, your mouth,” you plead breathlessly through a gulp.
He presses a chaste kiss to the plush of your thigh, eyes flicking up to meet yours. His lips ghost over the tops of your knee socks and nip at the slight pudge that squeezes out.
“Since you asked so nicely,” he murmurs. Then, he’s diving in, latching his warm, wet mouth onto your pussy. You feel yourself gush under his lips as his tongue laves harsh strokes against your entrance. He has you quivering, your hips moving on their own accord over his face.
You squirm under his relentless tongue, swiping through your slick and spreading it all over your inner thighs. He laps at your fluttering hole before suckling your clit into his mouth, hot tongue flicking over it before releasing with a playful pop.
He thrives off of the whimpers leaving your mouth. A loud moan tears from you as his fingers plunge into you again, hands shooting to his snowy locks to ground yourself. You’re throwing your head back, keening in the firm grip he has pushing back your leg, his tongue swiping at you expertly while the pads of his fingers curl up into the spot you need him at, keeping his head pressed tight to your drooling cunt.
Pointed flicks of his tongue target your clit, puffy and sensitive, and you can’t help the way your hips buck up for more, babbling nonsense. His firm muscle prods at your hole before flattening and licking wide and short strokes up your folds.
“Aw, you wanna cum, don’t you? Gonna cum for me like a good girl?”
You only have the strength to nod, eyes squeezing shut and your lips parted in choked breaths.
“Look at me,” he commands sternly, and your lids are prying open immediately, struggling to keep your gaze on him with the pleasure he’s relentlessly forcing on your body. His plump lips are lustrous with your arousal. “Go ahead. Cum.”
His eyes bore into you as your face contorts, body tensing all over as you tip over the edge. That coil in your stomach which Gojo has so masterfully built snaps like a rubber band, shattering your mind as pleasure ripples through your body. You’re still as your release surges through you, making him moan against your pussy.
“That’s it, there you go,” he says with a growl as you take your first breath after the inhibiting pleasure fades, eyes darkening as he watches you, keeping pressure on your nub with his thumb, smooth strokes working you through your high.
He carefully helps you drop to your feet, rubbing soothing circles into your hips, planting kisses to your temples before spinning you around to face the desk. You’re wobbly, but it’s nothing he can’t compensate for with his natural strength.
“Gonna take such good care of you,” he mumbles, large hands exploring the expanse of your back. He pushes you down, gentle fingers trailing up your spine until they find their hold on your hips like they were meant to be, loving how pliant you are beneath him.
The anticipation has you dripping, heart pounding as he flips up your skirt again, pussy aching to be filled. You hear the tugging of his trousers down to the floor, and a hefty exhale as he gives himself a few strokes in his palm.
His cock, hot and heavy and hard, presses into you slowly. You feel his girth immediately, cunt stretching deliciously to accommodate his size. It’s instant relief, finally the pleasure you’ve been desperate for, a drug you have to be careful of or you might just get addicted.
“Fuck,” he groans lowly, “So fuckin’ tight for me.”
You’re stuffed to the brim, focusing on how full you are, his fingers massaging the flesh of your ass as he gives you a moment to adjust. He feels his self-restraint thinning as you squeeze him. He’s gonna make you drool for him, make his cute innocent student into his little whore, make sure teacher’s the only one who touches you like this.
At first, his pace is slow and steady, sensual pumps that expertly drag against your gummy walls. You can feel his tip spreading you open, every burning curve and vein and ridge of his head as your pussy molds to him. But once your legs start shifting back for more, he speeds up the rocking of his hips, fucking you brainless on his cock.
“How we feeling, princess?” he pants. He’s the only thing you can think about, mind scrambled from the white hot feel of being fucked so well.
He doesn’t have to ask to know - the string of heedless whimpers that you make are evidence enough, on top of the obscene squelches that echo every time he pounds into your sopping cunt. He pulls your wrists back from where they cling to the desk, white knuckled, to your sides. A strong arm snakes around your front, pinning your arms and waist close to his chest, caging you in while the other seeks purchase on your breast.
“F-Fuck, I- ah - so good, sir,” you sob, feeling your brain blank with the way his grip moves up to your neck, expertly pushing into the sides to cut off your blood flow. It’s dizzying, your pussy tightening around him for more.
And then he stops.
You’re about to whine, your walls fluttering around him, begging him to move, when his hand reaches to cover your mouth. He shushes you gently, snapping quietly towards the door.
Someone is calling your name outside. “Hellooo? Hey Y/N, you over here?” It’s Yuuji, pacing the upper floor, walking straight down the hall and soon to pass the very door.
Your heart jolts in panic - why would he come looking for you? Why would anyone? The whole point of being out here was so that no one would come, right?
“Sorry to go back on my word, princess,” Gojo whispers. A wave of his hand creates a small masking barrier in front of the window, but it does nothing to hide the sound. “Gonna have to keep quiet for me. Can you do that?”
You nod your head, wiggling back against his hips pressed hard and unmoving to your ass. He pulls out slow and thrusts back, mindful of the noise of contact. It takes all your focus to bite back your moans.
“Don’t want your classmates seeing how slutty you are for a good fuck, do you? What if they walked in, saw you like this on your teacher’s cock?”
The thought has your hole constricting his length. You can already envision Yuuji’s shocked expression as he stares you down, his respected senior, nothing more than a babbling mess as Gojo Satoru fucks you raw in an empty classroom. The man behind you holds back a laugh.
The footsteps pass without the hint of something much filthier than extra help transpiring beyond the thin walls. You think you might have even seen a tuft of pink hair whizz by in the corner of your vision - whatever the matter, he’s gone, and you can finally catch your breath.
“Dirty girl,” Gojo rasps from behind you, slamming into you roughly, a sinister smile tugging at the corners of his lips while his fingers force themselves into your mouth, “you - hah - you fucking love it.”
That spring in the base of your tummy starts to coil taut, rising faster than ever. “Love it,” you choke, stimulated tears forming at your lash line, “love it so much!”
His pace is relentless, your slick gushing all around him. He’s building you up just to break you down, the only one who can help you take the edge off.
“Tell me what you want,” he says through gritted teeth, “I’ll give it to you.”
Holding you tight to his chest with locked arms, he completely covers your body with his tall stature, inescapable and confining.
“Fuck, wanna - wanna cum so bad, so bad, sir.”
His large hand trails its way over your waist, soft fingers moving down, down, until they slip right over that little sensitive bundle at your front, cool and wet, that has your breath catching audibly in your throat.
Gojo places his mouth just behind your ear, tone soft and sultry. The pad of his index finger rubs firm circles over your swollen, aching clit. It elicits a filthy sound from you that makes his cock twitch inside you. “Right there, huh?” He feels you clench as your legs tremble beneath him.
Your climax crashes over you in hot, unforgiving waves, tightening your walls and creaming all over every inch of his length. “Come on, give it all to teacher,” he encourages through heavy pants, making your skin prickle, and it’s just what you need. A chorus of loud, high pitched, breathless moans tumbles from your mouth as you ride it out.
You’re drenching his fingers, making a mess as your squirt drips down and coats his cock, making him growl into your hair. He coaches you through it, stringing out his praises, “Just like that, mhm, good girl.”
His eyes fall shut as your cunt suffocates his cock, feeling his hips stutter as you suck him in. With a guttural, hungry groan, he’s burying his load in your waiting hole. He snaps against you once, twice more, hard and quick as he starts to come down.
A moment passes to catch your breaths, heartbeats beginning to slow in tandem. Gojo nuzzles his face into the back of your neck and sighs before placing an affectionate kiss there.
Your legs are jelly beneath you so he’s careful when he releases his grasp, slowly turning you around to face him and sit back on the desk.
“You alright?” he asks, wiping away the wetness under your eyes.
It’s safe to say that you’re relieved, in more ways than one. Your shoulders feel lighter and as does your chest, like everything you’ve been shackled to has been lifted off with a good fuck.
“Yeah, much better.” There’s a tired grin to your words.
He wipes away the sheen of sweat that has collected on his hairline and reaches over you to grab a few tissues off the desk. He’s gentle as he cleans you up, dabbing up sweat and cum from where it drips down your thighs.
“You should get some rest. I’ll get you out of class tomorrow morning if you need it. Make up an excuse or something.” He pulls up his own trousers and helps you button up your top again, then lowering you back to the floor so you can be on your way.
“Let me know if you ever need any more assistance,” he winks, patting the top of your head. He smooths down a few stray hairs, putting you back together in at least a somewhat presentable way. “My help is always available to students that need it.”
Because while all that cursed energy may be under control, your relations are far from over.

Everything Right/Wrong with Ninjago “Rise of the Serpentine” E5: Can of Worms
I really wish we got to see more of Lloyd and the ninja prior to the Green Ninja reveal :(. Also, this contains a reference that only a small fraction of people will likely understand fully, but I couldn’t stop myself. DISCLAIMERS: Show owned by LEGO. This is not a professional review/critique - it’s primarily intended for comedy.
Comment/reblog and follow for more! Read below the cut!
- Theme ✅
- Lloyd can whistle, and regularly whistles his way around the Bounty. I don’t know why this is a win, but it is ✅
- At first this was gonna be a sin for having the audacity to name a video game something as stupid and obvious as, “citar legend,” but now it’s a win for my phone for repeatedly correcting it to “cig@r legend” every time I tried to type it out ✅
- Never forget that in a matter of what must’ve been hours, Lloyd managed to not only beat Kai at “his game,” but managed to top his own high score like 4 times ✅
- “…later bro” ✅
- Why does Jay do nothing and just let the sparring bot attack him? Couldn’t he just Spinjitzu his way out of this or something? ❌
- Also, what did Lloyd do to the sparring bot? Either he genuinely has knowledge of how to tinker with it and purposefully made it go haywire, or he just beat it a couple times with a wrench and hoped it would attack Jay anyway. Either option is worth a win ✅
- At first I thought he was waving, but based on his hand placements, I think Lloyd is saluting the ninja as he walks away from them?? ✅
- I don’t know who the ninja are yelling at right now, but they’re not even looking at each other ❌
- “How am I supposed to strike fear in this? It’s pink!” Zane finally learned about gender roles. Is this character development, or character regression? ❌
- I love that before Wu opens the door you can see Lloyd’s silhouette just standing there waiting… menacingly ✅
- “I got first dibs on-“ Cole threatens to beat an 8 year old for adding spice to his soup ❌
- “Why can’t you teach us to paralyze a man with one finger? Or find out if a man is lying by the twitch of his nose?” “Because not all lessons are about fighting!” Maybe not, but Jay’s ideas sound a h*ll of a lot more useful considering what they do everyday ❌
- “And I misplaced my lesson book.” Wu loses his lesson book and then suddenly forgets everything he’s ever known about this ancient craft he’s been practicing for literal centuries ❌
- How sound-proofed are those doors that they completely block out Lloyd’s voice when Cole closes them?? ❌
- “… live with us, but my sister??” Kai wants his baby sister to live alone in a blacksmith shop just because she isn’t a ninja ❌
- “But those tombs could be anywhere!” Shame we don’t have someone here who literally helped to imprison the serpentine in the first place, isn’t it? ❌
- The tombs are BARELY in line with that symbol. If the writers wanted to make this make sense, they easily could’ve just gone with a less complicated symbol. I really don’t know what the point of this was ❌
- “Light as a feather, pinky” ✅
- Btw, Glacier fans, how many times have you rewatched this scene?
- I was gonna add a sin for the Mailman because why was he delivering mail to the Constrictai tomb, but at this point I’m just gonna say he’s omnipotent or something and move on.
- “You shouldn’t sneak up on people like that” It didn’t? The frog was standing there the whole time, Fire Cracker ❌
- “No, I’m the real jay!” Call me crazy, but this was actually really good set up for Kai’s venomari-induced vision to be a million Jays attacking him and him struggling to figure out which one was the real one. But sure, elves and gingerbread people work too, I guess
- “I’ve never fought little people before!” You’ve fought Lloyd, isn’t that close enough?
- Cool save but what was Nya’s dart supposed to do? If it was a tranquilizer it wasn’t very effective ❌
- Detail of Samurai X wearing Nya’s bracelet ✅
- But also, how do none of the ninja notice that they’re wearing Nya’s bracelet?? ❌
- We have dr*nk Adora, sick Luz, Marky Wu, AND thawed-out Sprig, but stoned Kai will always be the OG ✅
- Jay spills his drink all over the table and makes no effort to clean it up ❌
- “It’s a can of worms I don’t wanna see open.” Line exists solely for the purpose of claiming that the title of the episode makes sense… which it doesn’t, but the writers were short on time and literally couldn’t think of anything else so it’s what we’re stuck with ❌
- “Don’t worry, it’ll ware off soon.” The little wink Jay does at the end>>>>>✅
- Also, plasma shippers, how many times have you rewatched this scene?
- Kai screaming in this clip will never not be hilarious ✅
- Why does Pythor have such a hard time uniting the tribes in these next few episodes? I know they were supposedly at war, but it couldn’t have been that bad of one if there were casual friendships between them like Skales and the Fangpyre ❌
- “Friends, enemies, and enemies who pretend to be friends” Pythor definitely has a better public speaking grade than I do ✅
- “That’s a lot of snakes…” Actually, that’s a frighteningly low amount of snakes considering these tribes are supposed to make up an entire race of people ❌
- So do the serpentine bond over r@cist jokes or…?
- ^ “What’s going on? Why am I losing them?!” I don’t know, Pythor, but maybe you should ask the brightly colored ninja hanging from ropes in midair where everyone can and should see them what they think. They look like they could shed some light on the situation ❌
- The serpentine were somehow harder to defeat and escape from when we were just dealing with one tribe at a time ❌
- Jay dangling off the bike ✅
- In Tournament of Elements, you can actually see that Chen has Zane’s pink suit, which implies that Lloyd sold it or something and just found a new one here ✅
- How did Lloyd manage to rig the fridge to do this???? Whether you want to admit it or not, kid Lloyd had a braincell that everyone likes to ignore ✅
- The episode moral was supposed to be that rumors are destructive, but it actually features the heroes weaponizing them against their enemies. So, always use destructive means to achieve your goals because they’ll justify each other eventually, kids! ✅
Sentence: Lloyd’s hidden braincell

clueless - maki zenin x reader
request: “I was thinking Maki Zenin x Fem reader where y/n is really intimidated by Maki and has avoided her since they first met each other. Despite that, they both have feelings for each other and after a while Maki gets annoyed with y/n and confronts her to figure out why she keeps avoiding Maki. And then the reader accidentally confesses and says something like “how could I not feel intimidated by someone so hot!?”” - @wh0legrain
summary: it’s difficult for you to read maki’s intent when she tries to become more approachable to you, which throws of your plan of trying to avoid her at all costs. alternatively titled: maki zenin is terrible at flirting (genre: fluff, attempt at humor, idiots to lovers)
warnings: like one or two swear words, mentions of bruises/scrapes from training
word count: 2.6k
a/n: i honestly had so much fun with the dynamic between maki and reader here! i love the idea that maki would have no idea how to flirt lmao
“don’t look now, but she’s looking at you again.” panda, your current sparring partner, peered at her over your shoulder as you got into a fighting position. of course, out of curiosity you immediately turned around, and unluckily for your own ego, you made direct eye contact with maki. she seemed to have no intent of backing down from your impromptu staring contest, intense black eyes remaining on you, and had you not been so focused on trying to figure out what had caused this sudden interest in you, you’d have noticed the amused glint in her eyes.
did she really have no shame in being caught staring at you?
before giving yourself any more time to process her expression, you whipped your head back around to face panda. at least you were able to take note of the amusement on his face.
“i don’t get why she keeps glaring at me.” you huffed annoyedly, still feeling her gaze burn into the back of your head. shouldn’t she be busy sparring with inumaki? “if it’s about that one time i borrowed her uniform skirt because mine was in the wash, she should be more mad about inumaki and gojo taking it every time she’s on a mission to try it on.”
panda had a shocked expression on his face, as if to ask why the hell you knew about the boys prancing around in the girl’s skirts whenever the opportunity arose, but it was quickly wiped off to be replaced by a knowing sort of smile.
“no, i doubt that’s why.” his voice rang with the sing-songy sound of knowing something you didn’t, but you simply chose to raise an annoyed eyebrow at his annoying little game rather than question him.
even as you ran at him, fists raised defensively, you swore you could still feel a pair of sleek eyes trailing your movements. you slid to dodge panda’s swing at you, leaving a layer of dirt on the hem of your shorts. despite succeeding in avoiding sparring with maki, which admittedly sounded absolutely brutal, you felt extremely ungrateful for panda’s strength as he lifted you up by the wrist. somehow he managed to end up with you flipped onto your back, despite your best efforts to sweep his legs out from under him. if losing to a literal panda in a fight wasn’t embarrassing enough, it didn’t help that this was the moment maki had decided to suddenly start paying attention to you, a fact you became acutely aware of as she hovered over you, her figure shadowed by the sun behind you.
“you okay?” she cocked an eyebrow, extending a hand to pull you to your feet, making you suddenly conscious of how her legs were positioned on either side of you, so you laid beneath her. when you were unable to sputter out a response, she sighed softly, leaning down so she knelt with her knees resting on the dirt on either side of your thighs. a hand waves in front of your face, and makis brows furrow slightly. “did you hit your head or something because of that idiot?” she cocked a thumb at your sparring partner.
something about her sudden proximity seemed to shock you out of your distracted daze, making you push yourself up so you held yourself by palms flat on the ground. taking note of how close your face was to hers, the corners of her mouth turned up in a smirk, her lips parting slightly to show her teeth. you weren’t even sure if she was aware of the fact that she was smiling right now, or the effect she was having on your already embarrassed state as she leaned over you, her figure shadowing yours.
why was she so intent on making fun of you?
“i’m fine!” you managed to blurt out, pulling your knees close to you to escape the compromising position she’d put the both of you in.
her eyes remained playfully narrowed and her lips turned up, but as she opened her mouth to say something, you practically sprung up from the ground as if you weren’t bruised and tired from fighting, turning on your heel to go back to panda. you flashed an awkwardly apologetic smile, before shrouding yourself in panda’s shadow.
you found yourself grateful for the shadow panda cast on you, as it shielded your eyes from the sun, and the glare you knew was inevitably resting behind maki’s glasses.
the four of you remained sparring until the first glimpse of heavy gray clouds masqueraded the blistering sun. you helped panda up from where he’d laid on the ground, spotting out of the corner of your eye none other than gojo, who looked almost comical inspecting the state of the sky with his usual dopey smile while still adorning his iconic blindfold. had you not known any better, you’d say he looked like a complete idiot.
on the other hand, maki, who did know better, seemed to have no problem stating that he did, in fact, look like a complete idiot.
“so are you just gonna stand there all day, moron? or do you actually have something important to say for once.” maki crossed her arms over her chest, making her jacket taut over her muscles, catching your attention for the briefest of moments. you quickly averted your eyes back to gojo in hopes of not being caught staring as she had earlier, as if you were a kid caught with their hand in the cookie jar. though you couldn’t see gojos eyes, you could sense a sort of mischief from him as he smiled at you. was today just some weird holiday where people stared at you for no reason that no one had informed you about?
“you guys seem to have the sky on your side today.” gojo smiled widely as his gaze flickered between the four of you lined up in front of him. “since it seems to be about to rain, you guys can get off a little early today, just go clean up in the bathrooms if you need to.” he waved his hands at you all, in a motion that seemed to be shooing you away.
you begin to feel the beginnings of drizzling rain hitting the tip of your nose, and the top of your head, and take that as your cue to leave. letting out a breath you didn’t know you had been holding in, you unzipped and shrugged off your hoodie, throwing it over your shoulder as you turned towards the heavy doors of the school building. you’d only gotten a couple steps closer than you’d been before you heard the familiar sound of your name, called from the less familiar source that was maki zenin.
“wait up!” she called, taking long strides to catch up to you. “if we’re cleaning up now, i’ll come with you and i can help you if you got scraped or anything.” her hand rubbed the back of her neck, and a soft smile cracked onto her lips, egging you on to respond.
you furrowed your brows slightly. she had never bothered to help you out like this before, so what made it different. “i think i’ll be fine.” you hoped your embarrassment at the idea of the situation didn’t show on your face.
“tch, it’s not like i’m planning to kill you in there or anything.” honestly, you wouldn’t be surprised if she had been. “it’ll just be weird if we’re both patching ourselves up in silence when there’s clearly a more efficient way to do it.”
screw her for always being correct.
you nodded your head in agreement in a way that was comically defeated. she motioned for you to follow her, and so you trailed behind her like a lost puppy.
though you had no way to prove it, you could’ve sworn that gojo winked at you from underneath his blindfold as you passed him.
the two of you walked in silence that seemed comfortable for you, but maki seemed clearly impatient.
“i wanted to check on you and ask if you were alright.” she broke the silence, pulling off her rain stained glasses to wipe them on the edge of her shorts. “you seemed really frazzled earlier, so if you hit your head or something we can take you to shoko, i wouldn’t want you to get seriously hurt or something.”
you were somewhat surprised by her words, but feigned indifference as you smiled reassuringly. “i’m fine, was just kinda lost in my thoughts earlier. guess you kinda just caught me off guard.” you were telling the truth, so why did it feel as if you were lying straight through your teeth?
as she swung open the girls bathroom door, she gave you an incredulous look, as if she was trying to recall the events of the day that could have made you so tense. you hoisted yourself up to sit on the sink, leaning back with a sigh of relief from finally relaxing your muscles. maki grabbed the small first aid kit, positioning herself to stand between your legs,a position that was oddly reminiscent of when you’d been on the field earlier. she caught your wrist in your hand, causing you to jump slightly as her eyes scanned your forearm, riddled with some bruises from training, but nothing that really needed cleaning.
“what could i have possibly done to catch you off guard?” her words sounded concerned, but contrasted the teasing smile playing at her lips. under the fluorescent lights, you could make out the flush tinted on her cheeks from being outside all day, as if she’d been kissed by the sun herself.
suddenly you felt very shy, twiddling with your thumbs in your lap, and willing your eyes anywhere but where they’d meet maki’s. to her, your current flustered state was an amusing contrast to how you were when fighting curses, your usual confident and strong willed demeanor had been replaced with the attitude of a bashful school girl. still, you knew you’d have to be confrontational in this moment.
“please stop teasing me, maki.” you looked her dead in the eyes, wiping the amusement from her face, and swapping it with a mixture of shock and worry.
“i’m not making fun of you.” she shook her head, her already pink dusted cheeks turning more red. “what makes you think I am?”
you chucked humourlessly. “well if the glaring at me wasn’t enough, you seem to keep trying to embarrass me. if it’s because of that time i borrowed your skirt without telling you, i really am sorry, but stop trying to make fun of me.”
“when did you borrow my skirt? i always just assume it’s the boys being idiots. you can borrow my skirt anytime you want.” you wished you could be mad at her for her nonchalance. “besides, YOU’RE the one who’s always avoiding me, panda told me i should try to be more approachable, so i thought eye contact might help.” she shrugged exasperatedly, placing her hands flat on sink, resting on either side of your thighs.
“well, you don’t exactly have the most approachable face when you’re making ‘eye contact.’ you had me thinking you were plotting my downfall in your head or something.” she stifled a laugh at your overdramatization. “it was totally intimidating.”
“oh?” her smile was dopey, one that only you would be flustered by. “does that mean i make you nervous?” her voice was hushed as she tilted her head downwards toward you, looking satisfied with herself.
“well you’re gonna make anyone nervous if you’re sending them death glares one second and offering to clean their wounds the next.”
her only response was a laugh as she buried her face in her hands. it wasn’t a mean laugh, not one directed at you, more so just her laughing at what idiots the both of you were being.
“you really thought i hated you?” her words were spaced apart by involuntary giggles, her mouth was stretched into a wide grin, almost like one from gojo. “man, i thought i was so obvious!” she turned to hoist herself next to you on the sink, leaning her head on your shoulder as her whole body shook from laughter.
you said nothing in response, just processing if this moment was real. you’d hardly seen maki smile before today, let alone laugh.
“you mean to tell me you’ve spent all this time avoiding me because you thought i hated you?” admittedly, when she repeated it back to you after her outburst of laughter, it did sound rather ridiculous. but to be fair, she should’ve considered the possibility before her sorry attempt to be more approachable.
“it’s not my fault you scare the crap out of me, i mean, how could i not be intimidated by someone so hot!” your mouth moves faster than your brain, and she lifts her head from your shoulder, making you hyper aware of both your words and your sudden proximity to her face.
shit.
your eyes are wide as saucers as you stare at her, convinced that, like a dinosaur, if you don’t move, she won’t even notice you’re there. much to your dread, she smiles yet again (seriously, today alone make up a solid 90% of the times you’d ever seen her smile.)
“you’re such a dumbass, you know?” you can hear the laughter threatening to bubble up in her voice. you wish you could come up with a clever comeback, but you just stared back, moth gaping like a fish out of water. “the reason i was asking panda for advice was because i like you. in hindsight, i suppose he’s probably not the most reliable when it comes to relationship advice.”
“all you really got out of following his advice was making a fool out of me.” you looked down at your feet. “but i guess i kind of did that myself anyways.”
“don’t beat yourself up about it. it’s cute.” she leaned forward so she was in your peripheral, willing you to look at her. “plus if you weren’t such an idiot, i’d have to keep sending you ‘death glares, as you like to call them, to get your attention.” she chuckled, and you lifted your hand to shove her playfully, before she caught your wrist effortlessly, tugging slightly so you could feel her breath fan on your face.
once again, your mouth moved before you had time to think. “maki...can i kiss you?” you’d taken note of how her eyes darted between your eyes and your lips.
it was her turn to be bashful now. she nodded slowly, her eyes half lidded, as she dared to close the small amount of distance between the both of you. without second thought, you press your lips to hers tenderly, letting your arms loop around her neck, hands meeting between her shoulder blades. her eyelashes tickle your face as they flutter closed, with her hands balancing her, palms flat on the sink counter. the pitter pattering sound of rain from outside echoed in you ears.
the kiss is messy and awkward, but in that moment, you felt on top of the world, smiling into it without a care in the world as your fingers played with the ends of her ponytail. you break away reluctantly for air, taking in the dopey smile on her face, and the way her hands reached to grab yours to hold in her own, rubbing small circles in the back of your hand with her calloused thumb. her breathing is soft and steady, clearly still readjusting after your kiss. wordlessly, she leans forward to rest her head on your shoulder, so you can feel her breath hit the crook of your neck, making your breath hitch in your throat.
“thank god you’re such an idiot.”

i love your blog so much! i’ve been thinking, what kind of things do you think loki would do with his bestie?? like would they paint, maybe shop? (if you have smth that’s similar to this then feel free to ignore it LMAO)
honestly what Wouldn’t you do once you and Loki are close?
granted, it does take a While to get to that level of trust
and to really be able to just Relax around each other and let your guards down
but once you do get to that point?
hoo boy
you two would do almost Everything together
mornings? you’re both drinking tea and judging everyone’s outfits as they come in to get breakfast
“I see the spiderling is wearing the same kitten pajama pants yet again.” “To be fair, I think Tony got them for him. But I concur, doesn’t he have literally anything else to wear?” “And here comes Thor, hair a rat’s nest, as per the norm.” “We live with the most powerful beings on the planet and there’s hardly a lick of fashion sense between any of them. Shame.” “Y/N, I completely agree.”
in fact, pretty much all of your time at the compound is spent together
reading, sparring, going over game plans for missions, all of it you do together
even the mundane things such as chores like doing the dishes or laundry duty, you both end up working on it together
mostly because the two of you are inseparable anyway
and also a little bit because everyone else on the team is a little Too intimidated by Loki to actually try to separate the two of you
your free time away from the compound is also spent together
you go on “outings,” as you like to call them
since Loki’s still pretty new to Earth culture, you’ve taken it upon yourself to introduce them to all your favorite places and things
sometimes you set aside days to be complete tourists
seeing the Statue of Liberty, riding the ferry, getting pizza in Times Square
you even convince them to go see Wicked on Broadway
after which, Loki was adamant about seeing as many plays and musicals as they could get to, dramatic theatre kid that they are
and the sight of them completely enthralled by the shows always makes you smile, anyway, so how could you ever say no?
you take them to all your favorite little hidden gems
the coffee place on seventh street that you adore because it’s always empty in the evenings
the corner of Central Park where there are no joggers or scammers selling photocopies of artwork at outrageous prices
you even take them to the ironically-named Valhalla Bar, which you frequented long before you ever knew any of the Asgardians
you’ll never forget the one time they got absolutely shit-faced on a single pint of beer
“Isn’t Asgardian liquor supposed to be, like... really strong?” “Yes, well, I’m not Asgardian, so.” “...doesn’t that mean Asgardian liquor should have made you this shit-faced, too, if not more?” “................I don’t know right now.”
you also end up with Loki participating in a lot of your personal hobbies, as well
your photography, your drawing, your painting, whatever it is that you do for fun, Loki ends up at least trying
you let them hold your Good(tm) camera and show them how to aim and how to use the grid to center photos
most of them come out a little blurry and off-centered, but you had fun doing goofy poses from them anyway
you get Loki a blank canvas to work with while you’re doing your own painting, and try not to get jealous that painting comes so naturally to them
“How are you so good at that? Have you painted before?” “No. Just lucky, I guess.” “Mm.” “Why, are you jealous?” “No.” “Y/N.” “I’m not.” “Y/N.” “I’m not.” “...” “...okay maybe just a little bit. Look at how you blended those colors together so perfectly. It took me months to perfect that.”
errands? also done together
when it’s your turn to buy groceries for the compound, Loki always tags along
and throws things in the carts that absolutely No One in the compound wants or needs
“Loki, nobody even has a cat at the compound, why would we need catnip?” “I mean, we could put some around T’Challa and see what happens.” “...” “Don’t tell me you’re not at least a little curious.” “...maybe just a little.”
all in all, the two of you are absolutely inseparable
practically joined at the hip
when one of you is sad, the other is doing everything in their power to help you feel better
bringing tea or a favorite book or queuing up dumb TikTok compilations on YouTube
your each other’s wingmen
gassing each other up when you have dates, making sure you’ve got everything you need for when you’re going out
waiting up at night to make sure that the other got home safe
even though you’re both Literal Avengers and know how to handle yourselves
it’s just what you Do
and you wouldn’t have it any other way

Noticing You, Noticing Me
Summary: You're the daughter of King Organa, but many outside of your kingdom don't know you. Your brothers Anakin and Varlo are the ones who are in the spotlight. Then your father holds a celebration in your kingdom for many others to attend. Will a certain someone notice you there?
W/C: 1.7k
Warnings: swearing, fighting, light angst
- - -
A knock sounded at your door.
“I didn’t know you were expecting anyone,” your eldest brother, Anakin said with a cheeky smile.
You rolled your eyes as you went to answer the door, “You know exactly who it is. This time, can you at least pull yourself together long enough to not drool over her before you leave.”
He couldn’t help but chuckle as he adjusted his position on his chair. “I’m afraid, little sis, that would be impossible with how close I am to marrying her.”
Once again you rolled your eyes before greeting your best friend, Padmé.
Anakin and Padmé had been together for as long as you could remember. It was a wonder that it took this long for them to get married. Yet, they still aren’t. Their wedding isn’t going to take place for nearly a year from now.
To your surprise, you were met by a very annoyed look on your friend’s face which immediately filled you with concern.
Before you could ask what happened, Padmé answered for you.
“Varlo is a right piece of shit,” she said angrily.
Although you couldn’t see, you knew Anakin had straightened in his seat as he listened. The smallest thing that happened to his fiancé tended to always throw him into an immediate protective mode. Well, that happened with whoever he was extremely close to.
“What did he do this time?” you asked as you guided her into the room. Varlo, your other older brother, had a tendency to be a bit of a pain. Although the two of you were super close, he could sometimes go too far. Especially when it came to people other than you and Anakin. The only person he didn’t mess with was any of the guard or your father, Bail Organa.
Your friend plopped down on the sofa beside Anakin’s chair with a sigh.
“Nothing today really,” she said, sighing once again. “Just playing games that I don’t have the energy to deal with today.”
“Would you like me to talk to him,” Anakin cut in, taking Padmé’s hand and gently massaging it. He was sitting on the edge of his seat, ready to go find Varlo to set him straight. You had to stop yourself from chuckling.
Padmé only shook her head, meeting Anakin’s gaze. Right then, was when you rolled your eyes for the millionth time as he did exactly what you asked him not to.
Clearing your throat, you took your place beside your friend.
“Anakin, didn’t you say you would meet Ahsoka, Sir Fisto and Sir Koon at the training grounds?”
An alarmed look took over your brother’s expression.
“Oh no. What time is it? They’re going to kill me if I’m late again.”
Both you and Padmé looked at each other with looks of amusement as Anakin shot out of his chair. After he gave her a quick kiss goodbye, he fled the room. You wouldn’t have been surprised if he ran to the training grounds.
The two of you burst into laughter once the door had closed.
“You’re marrying that,” you said through your laughter.
“True, but you’ve dealt with that your whole life. He’ll still be your problem.”
Padmé’s statement threw you into another fit of laughter.
Once the two of you had calmed down once again, you turned in your seat. She mirrored you.
“So, what brings you here today other than obviously wanting to be in the presence of the best person in the world?”
She beamed and looked as if she wanted to tease, until some sort of realization came over her. “Have you not yet heard?”
Confusion filled you. “Heard what?”
“About King Organa’s celebration at the castle next week. Has he not yet told you?”
You shook your head. “Anakin and I have been here all morning. So was Varlo for most of it.”
A look of understanding came over her. She knew how close you and your brothers were. So much so that the three of you would always find days where you would all spend time with each other. Whether it be in one room or going out to a nearby village to have some fun.
“I heard that King Qui-Gon Jinn and his son, Prince Obi-Wan Kenobi would be attending. There’s also…” Padmé trailed off when she saw your far off gaze. “Y/N?”
“Padmé, you know no one will notice me. Hardly anybody knows I exist. So many think my brothers are the only children of my father,” you replied as you felt your throat tighten. Although you tried not to think about it, it was still painful.
Padmé moved closer to you and took your hand with a caring smile.
“The only thing that matters is that we care for you. The people in the villages care about you and all the good you do for them and helping the poor. If other kingdoms don’t see you because they only see your brothers, who cares? Anakin and Varlo love you. Your father loves you. And you have me.”
You gave your friend a grateful smile. She always knew how to cheer you up, and this was no exception. Every time you felt like you would never be noticed, she always reminded you of how you were. Deep down, you knew you were. Other than your family and close friends, you also had people like Ahsoka, or Snips as Anakin likes to call her, and others like Rex, the head of the royal guard, and Sir Kit Fisto and Sir Plo Koon. Not to mention the multitude of guards that you were friends with. Especially Fives and Echo.
The more you thought of it, the bigger you smiled.
“See,” Padmé started as she squeezed your hand, “there you go. Your kingdom loves you.”
Before anymore could be said, another knock rang out through the room. When you answered, your father was there.
Looking over your shoulder, he chuckled, “I see you already found out about next week.”
“I did.”
When you looked over at your friend she couldn’t help but smile sheepishly. She tried her best to let your father, the king, be the one to give you the news of these things, but she usually got to you first.
You knew, though, that your father preferred it. He was busy enough so it was nice for him to save some time.
“I also wanted to tell you that the first guests will start arriving six days from now.”
For a moment you thought to yourself. “Father, that’s the day I said I would go to the Naboo village to assist in the set up of a small festival.”
Although it was true, your father knew of your true intentions. It’s not that you didn’t like greeting parties, but you knew you would most likely be looked over. So, in your mind, what was the point?
You were expecting your father to try and reason with you, but a sympathetic look came over him as he smirked.
“Alright, my sweet. At least promise me to tell Anakin-”
You opened your mouth to interject but he raised a hand to silence you.
“You get to tell him. Not only that, but you must also promise me to come to the ball that will be held.”
A smile crossed your lips at the mention of a ball. It was always a time where you and your brothers and Padmé could really have fun. Most of the night you and Varlo would dance together while you stole a couple dances with Anakin. If you weren’t dancing, you were with Padmé. Sometimes the two of you would sneak off and she would tell you of the gossip she had heard. Balls were events you hardly ever dreaded.
“It’s a deal then?” your father asked as you reminisced in the memories.
You smiled brightly as you caught a glimpse of your friend who still sat on the sofa. “Deal.”
-
“Come now, my prince. I heard that King Organa has a daughter,” Cody, Obi-Wan’s best friend and protector, said as they sparred.
Obi-Wan chuckled. “Do you really think I’m that desperate?”
Dodging his opponent’s strike, he was able to push Cody back far enough to where they were circling each other, looking for an opening. It was nearly impossible as the two have sparred with each other for so long that they knew every move the other was going to make before they could even act. This left this period of time to be dragged out as they used it to catch their breath, wiping sweat away from their eyes.
“Desperate? No. But you never know.”
“I wasn’t even aware that King Organa had a daughter,” Obi-Wan said as he finally broke the still moment.
Cody laughed, “Not many do. Not when you have two famous brothers like Anakin and Varlo overshadowing you.”
The two stayed silent for a moment as they fought each other off. Each block and strike being made with precision that drew the fight out longer.
“I guess you have a point,” Obi-Wan grunted out as he locked his sword with Cody’s, bringing them face to face.
“She does amazing things for her kingdom too. It’s a shame that no one pays attention to any of it.”
Obi-Wan felt a slight sense of guilt fill him. It only built as Cody explained more of what you’ve done for your people. How had he never heard of you? Why were none of your accomplishments well known in other kingdoms?
He got so lost in thought that he left an opening for Cody. Being the talented fighter that he is, he took it, throwing Obi-Wan to the ground and pointing his blunted sword to Obi-Wan’s throat.
“Are you sure ‘desperate’ isn’t the right word?”
“More like entranced, my friend,” Obi-Wan said with a fond smile at the commander.
Cody rolled his eyes before offering a hand to the prince. “I should mention her more often if it means I’ll win.”
Shaking his head with a soft chuckle, Obi-Wan turned to put away his training gear. Now thinking that the trip to your kingdom may not be too bad after all.

fitting in
bucky x reader
summary: an unfortunate series of events or Bucky Barnes tries to fit in at the compound
warnings: some talk of sex, fluff, curse words, awkwardness
word count: 1,828
To say Bucky’s glad to have Steve would be an understatement. He’s delighted and overjoyed to have a best friend, a brother who never gave up on him, who saved him, who brought Bucky to the compound, a place he calls home and introduced him to his teammates, the people Steve wholeheartedly loves. Steve’s family in a way. Bucky’s happy for Steve, he really is, but sometimes he feels jealous, and sometimes, he cannot help, but wonder how would it feel like to fit in, to have the same friendships Steve has with the others. He’s drinking his morning coffee when y/n comes into the kitchen at 6:03am. She rubs her sleep painted face, and he smiles, offering to make her a cup. Grateful, she sits down, watching him try and figure out the espresso machine. He, himself, never uses it, preferring to make coffee the 1940s way, with a kettle and coffee grounds, but he remembers y/n making a disgruntled face every time Steve hands her an old-fashioned cup of coffee, and so even though he doesn’t understand how the machine works, he’s modern enough to know that pressing the ‘black coffee’ button will make her a cup she’ll actually like. He doesn’t say anything when she pours, what seems like, half a bottle of creamer, either, even if he doesn’t understand it. She smiles after taking a sip, and it brightens Bucky’s heart. Ironically, he’s always more careful around y/n, because she’s the nicest, and she made him feel welcome from day one. Bucky doesn’t want to lose her trust. He smiles to himself when she pats a chair, inviting him to sit right next to her, and he gladly accepts it, sitting down so close, their arms brush against each others. Neither speak up as they drink their coffee in comfortable silence, and watch as the rising sun paints the sky in warm orange and golden hues. He puts his mug down, studying her as she closes her eyes, relishing in the warmth coming through the window, and strangely, he feels more content than he did in the last 70 years. But then she suddenly opens her eyes, startling Bucky and he accidentally moves his arm, in turn knocking his cup down, and the boiling beverage spills down y/n’s old t-shirt. Wide-eyed, he start mumbling something along the lines of sorry and it was an accident, but she puts a hand on Bucky’s shoulder, and slightly smiles at him before disappearing from the kitchen. A sight makes its way past his lips and Bucky lets his head fall down, forehead hitting the hard marble.
Embarrassment washes over him again when he and Steve enter the gym for their 12pm training session, and he sees her. y/n’s standing in the boxing ring, having changed out of the t-shirt into a more sparring appropriate outfit of a workout bra and leggings. “Ready to get your asses kicked, boys?” She laughs, the sound of it coming teasing and sweet. Rolling his eyes, Steve puts a hand on Bucky’s shoulder when they walk up to the girl.
“I’m not fighting today, but I’m sure Bucky’s ready.” Bucky smiles timidly upon hearing Steve’s voice and straightens his shoulders. He nods his head, throwing his towel to the side, and chooses to climb up into the ring from the side instead of using the stairs. Bucky’s tall, so it’s easy, and y/n playfully rolls her eyes when they’re standing eye-to-eye.
“Show off.” y/n teases, but Bucky has no chance to reply, as she swings herself onto him just seconds later, wrapping her legs around his head, and throwing Bucky to the floor in a couple swift moves. They lock eyes for a bit, and y/n tilts her head, as if asking why he’s not moving, but Bucky quickly recollects himself, grabbing onto her ankle, and bringing her down onto the floor before she can attack him further. She swiftly gets up, Bucky following right after, and for a couple moments they just walk, both in fighting positions, and both ready to attack when the time will seem right to do so. She gets behind him, and when Bucky tries quickly turning around, he accidentally lifts his metal arm up, hitting y/n in the stomach so hard, she falls out of the ring and on the hard floor, groaning. Steve jumps up from his spot, running to check up on y/n, but thankfully, she’s uninjured, the only sign of the accident being an already forming bruise on her right shoulder. “It’s my fault, really.” She groans out, but Bucky does not seem to hear that. y/n leaves the gym shortly after that, and Bucky tells Steve about the coffee incident, stopping him before the blonde has any chances of making fun of the man.
It’s 3:12pm, when the shower in Bucky’s bathroom runs out of hot water and he’s walking up to Steve’s room. Usually, he’d knock before entering someone’s room, but it’s Steve’s, and Bucky knows Steve stayed behind for an extra cardio session. Shaking his head at the blonde’s passion for working out, he strips off his clothing, and enters the bathroom. It’s warm and a little foggy, almost as if someone was just showering, but Bucky’s not fazed, thinking it was probably Steve that came down to shower before his run, a towel still left close to the shower’s curtain. Neatly placing a clean outfit and a pair of boxers on the sink’s edge, he looks at himself in the mirror. If he thought spilling boiling coffee down his crush’s t-shirt or knocking her down was embarrassing, his ungodly thoughts seem downright shameful. A war happens inside his mind as he looks down at his hard-on, but Bucky needs this, he needs to let down some steam. Grasping the sink, Bucky palms his dick in his hand; he thinks back to her legs wrapped around him, and the way her ass, covered in lacy panties, peaked from under her shirt this morning. It’s only when an involuntary moan slips past his lips, does y/n fully understand how much trouble she’s in. Her shower had run out of hot water when she’s gotten back from the gym, so she went over to Steve’s without thinking much about it. Except now she’s soapy and wet, stuck in his shower, with only a curtain between her and Bucky, and she’s pretty sure those are moans that she’s hearing. Her mouth drops open when she realises she might be listening to Steve and Bucky having sex, and when the thought fully settles in her mind, she vows to herself to never use other people’s showers without asking. It’s both a relief and a nightmare, when a metal arm pushes the curtain open and a naked, mortified Bucky stares back at her. Her gaze drifts to his hard on for a moment, before she closes her eyes all together. Bucky tries his best to not let his eyes wonder around her body, but the image of her, seemingly perfect, curves already carved deep, deep into his brain. Closing the curtain, he hears the water start running again, before a hand reaches for a towel, and seconds later, y/n steps out, wrapped in the fluffy, white material. She tries smiling at him, but he’s still naked, as in the midst of shock he forgot to cover himself, and it’s awkward as hell, so y/n quickly scurries past Bucky, and out of Steve’s room completely. Looking down, Bucky sights. “How in the fucking hell are you still up?”
When the whole teams comes to the dining room for their usual 8pm dinner, Bucky’s too mortified and embarrassed to look y/n in the eyes. He can sense she also feels awkward, avoiding him as much as possible, setting the table up and bringing dish after dish from the kitchen. When she comes out with the final plate, the only open seat is next to Bucky, and even though she still feels weird, she reluctantly sits down, and even smiles at him slightly. Everyone’s plates are full, and people have started eating when Steve sparks a conversation.
“So, all the hot water in my room was gone when I got back.” He focuses on Bucky and y/n. “Either of you have something to say?” Shaking her head no, y/n continues eating her meal, playing innocent and smiles at their Captain. “What about you, Buck?” Sighting, he puts his fork down, and looks at his best friend.
“Alright, I took a shower in your room, because mine was broken.” He admits, hoping Steve will leave the topic alone, but strangely, he doesn’t.
“At least two people had to shower in my room to use up the hot water.” Bucky can only hope his face isn’t flaming red, but he can feel the heat rising up to his cheeks and spreading down his neck. Noticing Steve’s waiting for an answer, y/n turns to Tony.
“I can’t believe you’re a billionaire, but half of the showers at the compound are broken.”
“y/n, I also found your panties in my bathroom.” Choking on her bite, y/n takes a sip of her drink, before meeting Steve’s eyes. Everyone’s looking at y/n and Bucky, Tony’s amused face doing nothing, but fuelling y/n’s anger. “Did you and Bucky shower together?”
If Bucky could have just one wish, he’d wish for the Earth to swallow him whole in that very moment. “Steve, we were not showering.” Bucky blurts out, realising how insinuating it sounds only when half of the team’s jaws drop to the floor.
“Did you have sex instead?” Natasha asks, a teasing smile on her face.
“No!” They both blurt out at the same time, faces heated up in embarrassment. Bucky looks at y/n apologetically, and raises his eyes back to Steve.
“We didn’t-“ he starts “I didn’t-“ he tries to form a sentence, but keeps choking over his words. Knowing the team won’t believe them either way, y/n takes over for Bucky.
“Steve, Bucky and I are sorry for not leaving you any hot water. The rest of you can go back to eating.” Y/n has that overly sweet smile on her face, but when she turns to Bucky, her face softens, and she rubs his shoulder, whispering it’s not worth it. And so he drops the topic, leaving it alone, and goes back to eating his meal in quiet. But for what seemed like the worst day ever, it’s not so bad; it’s the first time Sam doesn’t make a joke where his teammates laugh at Bucky, instead laughing with him, and it’s the first time Tony smiles, genuinely smiles at him, gesturing to y/n when she isn’t looking and holding thumbs up. And when the sun has hidden all the way, and the time for sleep has come, y/n smiles at him before disappearing into her room, and, yeah, he thinks, I guess it wasn’t such a bad day after all.

My Girl
Word count: 1847
Set end of season 3 start of season 4ish
Summary: You and Daryl have an unspoken relationship and when a new girl comes to the prison, you let her know very clearly who Daryl is with.
Warnings: Swearing, TWD gore, reader is a bit hot headed.
Rick bringing the people of Woodbury to the prison was definitely a surprise to you all but in this day and age, strength came in numbers so you were lucky to have this many people now. The governor was still at large and no one had any idea where he could have possibly gone which meant that you all needed to be prepared. Most of the people from Woodbury where either older or didn’t know how to fight which was an issue. You were one of the best fighters among your group along with Daryl, Maggie, Glenn and of course Rick but Rick had other commitments which left the four of you to run lessons. Maggie and Glenn taught the newcomers how to use guns and knives while you and Daryl taught hand to hand classes. Most of your classes involved sparring and it always helped when there were even numbers of people but today Rick had brought in a new person who he had found on the road a few days ago. She was quite small and didn’t know how to fight at all, you wondered how she had survived this far.
Rick brought her over to you and Daryl once she had rested for a few days, she was now ready to learn to defend herself.
“You’re not gonna find better teachers than these two.” Rick led the girl over to you and Daryl, gesturing towards you as he spoke. You both walked up to meet the two of them in the middle of the field. “Mia, this is y/n and Daryl.” Her eyes flicked between the two of you, looking Daryl up and down far too many times for your liking.
You and Daryl had been in love with each other since the day you met, you shared a cell and everything but you still hadn’t technically made things ‘official.’ Your group liked to make jokes about how obvious your feelings were except you seemed to be oblivious to each other for so long.
You noticed Daryl’s breath hitch as her eyes slowly roamed his body, your stomach twisting in knots as you watched her practically undress him with her stare. You broke the silence, drawing her eyes back to you.
“How long you been out there”
“It’s been a while, since I lost my boyfriend I’ve been all alone.”
Her eyes flicked back to Daryl earning an eye roll from you. “Shame.”
Daryl cleared his throat, “Right, we better get started with the rest of em over there. Come on.”
You followed Daryl back over to the group, Mia standing close behind him like a lost puppy.
“Right, today we are working on getting out of someone’s grip. There may be times where someone grabs you, pins you, whatever, you need to be able to get out of it. Watch Daryl and I first, then buddy up and start practicing.”
You walked over to Daryl turning to face the group as he stood behind you, wrapping his arms tightly around your frame, trapping your arms.
“This is where you would kick their shins or slam your head into their face. The shock should be enough to throw them off their game to which you should be able to rip your way out of their hold then turn and kick them until they’re down and keep them down. Your turn, find a partner and get started.”
Everyone had a partner except for Mia, she was walking over towards Daryl before you stepped in.
“Excuse me” She looked passed you her sites still set on Daryl.
“Just practice with me, let’s see what you got.”
“Don’t you think it would be better if I had someone bigger holding me to see if I can really get out of this situation?” She batted her eyelashes towards Daryl as she spoke. Was this girl for real? Couldn’t she take a hint?
“You know what, you’re so right.” Sarcasm dripped from your words.
Her smile grew as she started walking towards Daryl again.
“Hey Tyrese, can you give me a hand here for a second?” Your words stopped her in her tracks, anger taking over her face.
You stood back with Daryl and watched as everyone practiced what you had taught them, all except Mia who just wasn’t getting out of Tyrese’s grip.
Then sun began to set as you wrapped up the classes. “We’ll see you all tomorrow, same time, same place as always.”
You and Daryl began to walk back to the prison as your stomach’s growled.
“Any idea what we’re havin’ for dinner?” Daryl asked you but your mind remained focused on the girl staring at him.
“Hm? Oh um, I think Carol made a stew.”
You ate with the rest of your family before making your way over to the showers, Daryl heading up towards your shared cell. While you were in the shower, Mia took the opportunity to head over to your cell and chat with Daryl.
“Hey Daryl.”
“Hey, Mia right?”
“Yeah, I was wondering if you run one on one classes? I feel like I’ve missed a lot of training here and I thought it might be good to catch up.”
“We usually just run the group classes.”
“Oh. Would you be willing to maybe just help me out a bit then, I promise I’m a fast learner and I’ll do anything you tell me.” She had a devilish look to her when she spoke. Daryl chewed his thumb as he thought about her question. She seemed like she really just wanted to learn and it wouldn’t hurt to have her learn a few extra things.
“M’kay, meet me where we had class today, after breakfast.”
“Thank you!” She squealed as she made her way to her cell.
You got out of the shower, drying off and dressing into your pyjamas before you climbed the stairs up to your cell. By the time you got in there Daryl had changed and climbed under the covers, his arm covering his eyes. You couldn’t help but let your eyes roam over his toned arms.
“I know ya starin’ at me.” You giggled at his comment before climbing over him onto the other side of the bed, rolling over and facing the wall. He rolled onto his side and wrapped his arm around your waist pulling your body flush against his. You traced circles around his arm that was draped over you.
“What do you think about that new girl, Mia?” You asked him, your eyes remaining focused on the wall in front of you.
“She seems harmless.”
“Yeah, you’re probably right. Goodnight Daryl.”
“Mhm, night.”
You squeezed his arm before letting your arm slide back down onto the pillow under you, drifting to sleep with your archer behind you.
You woke up before Daryl, his arm was still wrapped around you, loose enough that you could slide out of his grip and shuffle off the bed. He stirred slightly as you climbed off the bunk.
“Where ya goin’?”
“I have fence duty, go back to sleep. I’ll see you for lunch.” You bent down and kissed him on the forehead before exiting your cell and making your way down to the fences.
After about an hour of stabbing walkers through the fence you saw Daryl walk out of the prison, you waved at him and he sent a smile your way. You turned back around and continued to take care of the walker issue.
“Hey y/n” The southern drawl you knew so well caught your attention.
“Hey Ricky.” You smiled cheekily, he hated when you called him that but part of him loved it, it showed how close the two of you were.
“How’d that new girl, Mia go at classes yesterday?”
“Not great, she needs a lot of work. Plus, I think she has a thing for Daryl and that’s not on.”
“Well you’re not gonna like this.” Your stomach dropped at his words.
“What?” He gestured over towards the middle of the field where Daryl and Mia were sparring. One on One.
“You’ve gotta be shitting me.” You glared at the two of them, your stomach twisting repeatedly when you could hear her giggles whenever Daryl would go to grab her.
“Go handle it, I got you covered for a bit.”
You stabbed one more walker through the head violently yanking your knife back out sending blood everywhere as you shook it and shoved it back in its sheath. You could feel your anger rise every time Daryl put his hands on her, you could see her leaning into his touch.
————
“Alright let’s try again.” Mia said, looking at Daryl with a spark in her eyes.
“M’kay one more time.” Daryl went to wrap his arms around her from behind but at the last second she turned and was facing him, her hands pressed up against his chest which caught him off guard as he stepped back. “What the hell?”
“Come on Daryl, we should have a bit of fun while we’re here.” She started leaning up towards him before he took another step back. “Don’t tell me you’re not attracted to me, I know you want me and I’ll give you everything and more. More than y/n can give you.”
“You’re fucking crazy, ya know that?”
She took a step towards him, placing her hands on his shoulder before his eyes met yours, you were now almost standing directly behind Mia and she was oblivious.
“My girl ain’t gonna like this.”
“She doesn’t have to know, I don’t see her anywhere.”
With that, you grabbed her hair and yanked her so hard she hit the floor. “Now you do.”
“y-y/n I-” She struggled to find words before you stood next to Daryl, looking down at her.
“You ever try anything again, you even think about trying anything again, I will personally tie you to a tree and let the walkers finish you off. Do you understand me?”
She gulped, “Yes”
“Good, now go and find someone else to teach you how to fight. I’m sick of seeing your face.”
She pushed herself off the floor and scurried towards the prison building.
Daryl went to grab your hand but you pulled away.
“Nuh uh. Not letting you off that easy asshole. What the hell were you thinking?”
“She asked for a one on one session to help her improve, I thought she was bein’ serious but obviously not.”
“Mhm.” You started to walk away from him before turning back “My girl, huh?” Daryl rubbed the back of his neck. “I like it.” You started to walk back down towards the fence to return to Rick as Daryl’s eyes focused on the swing in your hips.
He smiled sheepishly at the ground before following you like a lovesick teen. He was completely under your spell and would never have done anything with Mia. You knew that but you needed Mia to know who he was with and that he was not fair game.
She understood that now.

100 ways to say I love you - TimKon edition:
Number 37: “Can I kiss you?”
Enjoy! :D
From the other side of the room, Kon unabashedly watches Tim as he trains. No matter how many times he sees Tim train he’ll never grow tired of watching it.
Tim moves his body with natural fluency as he transitions from one move into the next. Anyone who watches him for the first time would think Tim is a complete natural, but realistically Kon knows this fluency he has is thanks to years and years of training and perfecting.
As Robin, Tim’s fighting had been incredible, he was strong and certainly had a knack of using his smaller stature to his advantage. Thugs would see a kid in a bright costume and immediately think nothing of him until they were proven wrong seconds later. Tim had always worked extra hard in the physical aspect of this job as it didn’t come naturally to him, it’s something Kon really admires his boyfriend for.
However his fighting as Red Robin is completely off the charts, Tim had become a force to be reckoned with. Of course Kon picked up on the difference as soon as he saw Tim fighting for the first time since coming back to life.
While his fighting style still held that gracefulness as he had as Robin, as Red Robin he was more brutal. There was no holding back any punch, swing or kick Tim delivered. It made him more dangerous, a whole lot stronger too but it didn’t seem right, the style didn’t feel like Tim. At the time Kon obviously had still been learning what changes had happened while he had been gone so it didn’t make much sense, it wasn’t until he properly spoke to Tim and got his story that everything became clear, including why his fighting style had changed.
Today it’s just him and Tim in the Tower and both of them are in the training room. Or more accurately Tim is, Kon is on the side-line simply watching and admiring the view. Tim moves around on the mats, swinging his staff this way and that as he practices different moves, knocking down invisible enemies as he goes.
While Kon is drawn to the movements of his body, he is also drawn to Tim’s body itself. His boyfriend is currently shirtless and was only wearing loose shorts with bandages wrapped around his wrists and ankles. Kon stares as Tim’s abdominal muscles bend and flex with his movements, how his abs get highlighted in certain positions, how his biceps bulge with the bend of his arms, how his calves prominently show when his legs flex. It’s a shame he can’t get a real show of his thigh muscles…
“You might want to shut your mouth before you catch flies Kon.”
Kon blinks and comes back to reality. It takes him a second to realise that Tim has stopped training and is now looking at him with amusement. Realising that his mouth is in fact open Kon shuts it with an audible click and shoots a sheepish smile at his boyfriend, not at all feeling embarrassed.
“Enjoying yourself there Kon?” Tim asks smirking.
Kon shrugs, trying to act nonchalant. “Just admiring the view that’s all. Can’t help if I enjoy a good show either.”
Tim chuckles and gestures at Kon’s lower region. “I didn’t expect you to enjoy it that much.”
Not understanding what he meant right away Kon frowns and looks down at himself. When he catches sight of a slight bulge, Kon finally feels that embarrassment of the situation and his face flushes. He got turned on by Tim training. Was it that easy to get him hot and bothered now? Well, can anyone blame him, have they seen Tim and the way he moves, how flexible his body is and those muscles…
Kon feels heat rising up inside of him as he starts thinking about Tim once again and now he’s recognised that he’s turned on that’s all he can think about. It isn’t until Tim’s laughter sounds out that Kon breaks away from his thoughts.
He snaps his attention to his boyfriend who’s still stood there watching Kon. He’s brightly smiling and is clearly finding Kon’s predicament funny.
Rolling his eyes Kon pushes off the wall and heads towards Tim. There’s certainly a simple solution to this ‘predicament’ and Kon is going to go about and getting it sorted. Or rather get his boyfriend to do something about it, he’s the cause of it after all.
Tim stands there and watches Kon approach, he doesn’t move and is letting him come close, however as soon as Kon is in reaching distance of him Tim’s bo staff is suddenly there in his face stopping him from going any further.
Knowing exactly what’s on his mind Tim smirks evilly. “Ah ah ah. Not so fast. I haven’t finished training yet.”
Kon pouts feeling put out by the action. “This is your fault though. You should be the one to fix it.”
“I haven’t done anything. You’re the one who decided to get all yourself hot and bothered.”
Huffing, Kon mock scowls at Tim, feeling hotter and more bothered by the minute. They stand there with Tim’s staff between them for several beats and when they make eye contact it’s suddenly become a game.
With quick movement Kon grabs the staff and tries to twist it out of Tim’s grasp, but Tim had been expecting it. He follows the movement twisting his body as he goes and kicks his foot out towards Kon, in order to block it Kon’s forced to drop the staff. Their moves transition into good old fashion sparring, they dodge kick and fire shots at one another, each time trying to get the upper hand.
It isn’t long until Tim wipes Kon’s feet out from underneath him and drops him to the ground. Without wasting a second Tim clambers on top of him and pins him to floor. He sits on Kon’s chest using his weight to keep him down, his thighs are spread and hugging his sides while his knees press against his elbows keeping his arms down and Tim leans forward pressing his staff against Kon’s throat.
It goes silent between them and for several beats the only sound was their heavy breathing. Kon stares up at Tim, seeing his skin glisten with sweat and the way his pupils have expanded with excitement and how his chest is moving up and down with his heavy breathing. If Kon weren’t turned on before he certainly is now, especially with Tim’s weight pressing against him.
Kon moans. “Oh my god your hot, can I kiss you?”
Tim snorts and roll his eyes. “Like you even have to ask.”
Freeing his arms from underneath Tim’s thighs Kon reaches up and cups Tim’s head and not too gently pulls Tim’s face down to his and instantly connect their lips together. It’s rough, passionate and everything Kon’s been desiring.
There’s an audible pop when Tim pulls away from him and Kon goes to chase his lips but Tim pushes against his chest keeping him down. “We really shouldn’t do this here.”
“Why not?” Kon whines feeling impatient. “Come on Tim, there’s no one here, we’ll be fine.”
Tim gives him a hard look. “No, but I’ll tell you what…” Tim voice drops as he leans in close, his breath ghosting over Kon’s ear, “first person to my bedroom gets to decide how this is going to go.”
Kon’s brain short circuits at that and by the time he comes back online Tim’s figure is disappearing out of the room. Kon curses and scrambles to his feet before stumbling towards the exit. This certainly wasn’t the outcome he had expected while watching Tim train but he certainly isn’t complaining.

Three Times Jaskier Didn’t Seem Quite Human
(And one time Geralt asked too many questions.)
“Jaskier isn’t human,” Yennefer stated bluntly, swishing a wine glass in her right hand.
Geralt blinked, “What?” This gave Yennefer pause. She knew that her on and off again lover was oblivious, but she hadn’t realized it was quite to this extent. Jaskier gave her a pained, pleading look from the other end of the table. She ignored him.
“You seriously haven’t noticed?” she continued with a huff.
“...No?” Geralt’s brows furrowed together in confusion. The nerve of these idiots. Yennefer had half a mind to just state the obvious, to keep these two from continuing to dance around the subject, possibly until the end of time.
But it was much more fun to gently direct Geralt to the answer and watch his bard squirm. Yennefer took a sip of her wine, mentally cursing her high alcohol tolerance, You’ve been travelling with the man for decades,” Geralt’s face was blank, the puzzle pieces not fitting into place, “He hasn’t aged, Geralt.”
“That doesn’t mean anything,” he protested, though from the way his eyes shifted towards his companion he was clearly thinking it over. If they were not at such a high profile party Yennefer would have strangled him. He opened his mouth to say something else, but it was at that exact moment that Jaskier decided to pick up his lute and perform for the crowd - granted, it was what he had been invited to do, but Yennefer sent him a withering glare anyways. She was met with a cheeky wink. Oh if looks could kill.
“I could prove it to you, you know? A few well placed detection spells and-”
Geralt shook his head, “He’ll tell me when he’s ready.”
“You two are hopeless,” Yennefer sighed.
-@~*^*~@-
It had been after a particularly difficult hunt, when Jaskier had to dress his companion’s wounds for the umpteenth time. Geralt sat upon a stool in the center of their tiny room at the inn. He looked more irritated than usual as Jaskier gave him what was essentially a sponge bath around where a kikimore had stabbed his shoulder with one of it’s spindly arms. Jaskier winced, it was too close to important organs for comfort. Humming as he worked, Jaskier tried to stitch shut what he could and thoroughly bandage the rest. The wolf medallion on Geralt’s chest thrummed contentedly each time the bard’s delicate hands drew near.
“Where did you learn?” he asked suddenly, his gruff voice cutting through the peaceful quiet.
“Hm?” Jaskier hummed, ignoring the Witcher’s grunt of pain as he applied one of his many salves to his shoulder, “You’re going to have to be more specific than that, dear.”
“The salves, the stitching, all of it,” Jaskier raised an eyebrow at that, but Geralt continued, “It’s a very odd skill for a bard to have.”
A laugh, Geralt had to bite back a hiss as Jaskier’s touches grew less gentle. He clearly wanted him to drop it. “What? Do you think that I was helpless before you came along with your bulging muscles and witchery glares?”
The witcher shook his head, silver hair sending droplets of water in the air, “No it’s not that,” the bard had certainly proved capable and skilled many times over, “It’s just, were you a healer before you became a bard?”
Jaskier froze, seemingly caught in a memory, “Something like that,” he began to bandage Geralt’s shoulder, “This kikimore did quite the number on you, didn’t it?”
Geralt gave him a look of disbelief because obviously.
“Come on, come on, give me the details, I can’t write my ballads off of just grunts and intrusive questions now can I?”
-@~*^*~@-
Jaskier had tagged along on what was supposed to be a minor contract. Nilfgaard had stormed a small town, leaving destruction and countless corpses in their wake. Corpses that were perfect for every Alghoul in a three mile radius.
He and Geralt were engaged in their usual banter (which consisted mostly of Jaskier rambling about whatever was on his mind, punctuated with the occasional grunt from his witcher), when a sudden, piercing screech rang through the air. It was high pitched, shrill, and caused Jaskier to clutch his head as he let out a groan of pain.
Meanwhile, Geralt immediately leapt into action, drawing his silver sword as a pack of the necrophages surrounded them. He was able to take out several, his sword and the ghouls creating a smooth, gory dance. It all seemed to be going well before an Alghoul caught Geralt off guard, leaping onto his back while extending its spines. This sent Geralt off balance, and he was quickly overwhelmed. His sword got knocked out of his hands in the scuffle and he thought that this, however stupid it may be, would be what would kill him.
A cry of rage. Slashing, tearing. Suddenly the weight that was dragging Geralt to the ground grew lighter. He felt something wet and sticky. Geralt looked up to see Jaskier standing over him, holding Geralt’s silver sword, out of breath, and covered in Alghoul viscera.
The bard looked down at himself, annoyance on his admittedly handsome features, “That was my favorite tunic too!” The tunic in question, once baby blue (like his eyes which were now flashing gold, what the fuck?) was now stained red and black. Jaskier brushed a bit of entrails off his shoulder, visibly disgusted.
“Huh?” Geralt said, intelligently.
-@~*^*~@-
The pair was making their way north, Jaskier strumming on his lute and Geralt sat atop Roach. The dirt road was a tunnel bordered by a wall of towering trees, whose orange and red canopies blocked out the sun, casting the duo in dappled shade.
Jaskier strummed a few chords in the major key, before he spoke, “Geralt, are you doing alright?” His face was soft and forget-me-not eyes distant like they often grew when he was lost in thought. Geralt shot him a confused look. “It’s just that, you’ve seemed rather distracted lately.”
“Hm?”
“I,” Jaskier sighed, collecting himself, “It’s just with the kikimore and the alghouls, and just last week when you forgot your potions in Roach’s saddlebags. I’ve never seen you get like this before, what’s going on?”
“It’s nothing.” Geralt replied, gaze sliding to anywhere but his bard.
Jaskier reached up, intertwining his lithe fingers with Geralt’s own, “I’m worried about you, Love.”
Geralt huffed, he could never resist the man’s pouting lips and puppy-dog eyes, “Yen and I had a conversation at that party a few months ago.”
He felt the bard tense, “Is that so?” There was a long, uncomfortable silence between them. Jaskier must have realized Geralt, man of few words that he is, wasn’t going to elaborate any further, so he spoke, “What did you two talk about?”
“She said you aren’t human and I just thought about it more and… it makes too much sense,” Geralt began, feeling awkward as he tried to find the words to explain, “The way you don’t age, your medical knowledge (even of witcher potions!), how you know your way around a sword and how your eyes gleamed-”
“Geralt, as you know I have an impeccable skincare routine and-”
He frowned, “Don’t give me that shit, bard.”
Jaskier sighed, “You really want to know?” A nod. “Okay, well, here goes nothing.” The bard let go of the witcher’s hand, and pulled off a golden ring that, now that Geralt thought about it, he had never seen the man without. A shimmer fell over the bard’s body, like a statue being unveiled. The first thing Geralt noticed was his eyes, they were a sickening, piercing yellow. His face was marred by countless scars, from claws, burns, knives, and magic. Jaskier’s build underneath the glamour more closely resembled Geralt’s, though he retained his shorter stature. The bard smiled sardonically at the witcher’s shocked expression, “Like what you see?”
Geralt’s mouth opened. Then closed. Then opened again, “How?”
“You’d probably know me better as Julian,” Jaskier’s eyes got that distant look to them again, his face was downcast, an unusual expression for someone who typically embodied sunshine, “I was in the Griffin school, before we were attacked,” a joyless laugh, “I had never wanted to be a witcher, ya know? Wasn’t cut out for it. But my father, Viscount Pankratz himself, couldn’t pay a witcher for his contract, so he offered me up instead. I failed as a noble, so maybe I wouldn’t fail as a witcher. He was wrong, of course, I spent most of my time writing poems instead of studying Signs. Singing instead of sparring. After the trials I spent a few years on the path before I grew sick of it and returned to Kaer Seren.”
Geralt hummed, encouraging Jaskier to continue.
“I was made to look after the students, I had to patch up their wounds and keep them from blowing themselves up with alchemy. I loved the little rascals, which is why..” Jaskier trailed off, fingers tracing the grooves in his lute.
“It’s okay,” Geralt said, “You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.”
He shook his head hurriedly, “No, no I want to, I have to,” his voice cracked, “I left after the trials killed them. All of them. I couldn’t bear to be a part of it. A part of everything. So I ran, like a coward,” He spat out that last word like a curse.
The pair stopped. Geralt placed his gloved hand on the bard’s shoulder, a rare gesture of affection and reassurance.
“Eventually, I found a mage and spent my life’s savings on a well-made glamour and the lute the elves at Posada so lovingly destroyed. It wasn’t until I had graduated from Oxenfurt that I found out what happened in Kaer Seren.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Geralt asked, his voice gentle.
Jaskier’s face flushed red with shame, “I was afraid. Afraid of what you would think of me. That you’d hate me.”
Geralt frowned, “I don’t hate you. I could never hate you.”
At that, Jaskier laughed, “Just look at me! I’m an ugly fuck-up.”
“No,” Geralt said resolutely.
“Huh?”
“I said no. Do you know how many times you’ve saved my life? Made long nights on the path easier to bear? I wouldn’t be here right now if it weren’t for you,” Geralt continued, looking Jaskier directly in the eyes. He didn’t reply to that, just slipped his ring back on and hugged his arms to his chest.
The rest of the day’s journey was spent in silence.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed! Feel free to leave a comment, I love hearing feedback. I had one hell of a time writing this, I originally had only written the first scene, and it took a few months for my single window's screensaver brain cell to finally hit a corner and figure out how to continue and finish the story.

Po3 rewrite, Chapter 3:
Table of Contents | Chapter 2
Within days of the incident Hazelpaw’s apprenticeship was given to Brightheart to oversee, Mousepaw heard speculation that this was just for the time being and soon Hazelpaw would return to train under Spiderleg, but a half-moon had already passed, and this exchange has yet to happen.
To think that he had not even noticed the state in which Hazelpaw was pushed into by her former mentor was very shameful on his part; and when he had formally apologized to Hazelpaw for said actions his littermate had simply laughed, and smiled, and then brushed the conversation into another area of interest.
“Mousepaw,” The apprentice was then pulled from his thoughts. The image of his mentor came into focus. “Now is not the right time to allow your mind to wander, please pay attention to the lesson” Brackenfur advised lightly and at this Mousepaw became shy with embarrassment, a good apprentice would be attentive to every word that came from their mentor’s jaw. “I’m sorry, sir”. The senior warrior shook his head gently with a rather bemused expression to his features. “We’ve been over this already, there is no need for the formalities, Mousepaw. To you I am your mentor, above the fact that I am the clan’s deputy.”
With his statement Mousepaw was reminded in part of a few heated words that were spoken before the skirmish broke loose:
Any clan cat knows the bond between mentor and apprentice is deeper than that of blood.
“Sir?”
The smile on his mentor’s face had reluctantly grown in length.
“May I ask a question?”
The older tom nodded, moving to sit himself in a brightly lit patch of grass, for a moment Mousepaw had to squint as the golden pelt of his mentor glowed in the sun. The forest was relatively quiet this day and his ears could pick the soft sound of a mouse moving along in the undergrowth, or perhaps it was a squirrel, and he had thought wrong. “Is it true, that the bond between mentor and apprentice is deeper than blood itself?”
The clan deputy hummed thoughtfully, its pleasant tune echoed gingerly around him. After a few moments in what seemed like thoughtful contemplation Brackenfur spoke: “Well, yes, it is believed that the bond an apprentice has with their mentor should surpass the bond of family”. Mousepaw did have great care for his mentor but he wondered if he and the older tom would ever reach that point of familiarity, but then again, stronger than that of family? “Of course, not all those who mentor deserve the loyalty of their apprentice.” These words were spoken in a way that suggested his mentor’s apprenticeship was not the most pleasant one.
Curiosity got the better of Mousepaw and he pressed the conversation in that area wanting to know more. “Who was your mentor, are they still in Thunderclan?”
“No, not anymore. My first day as an apprentice would be the last day I would train under him; he simply fell in love with the secrets of the river.” The white apprentice’s ear flickered upon sensing a faint underlying bitterness to his mentor’s demeanor, one that had aged neatly without always showing itself. He knew there was a deeper meaning to what the senior warrior meant, but this time the young cat did not press further. “I no longer hold hostility towards him for in his absence I became the clan’s apprentice. The warriors of Thunderclan never discarded my training, they generously passed their knowledge and skill to me. Every Thunderclan cat, whether they sustain the title of warrior or monarch, I have learned from.” “Even Firestar?” Brackenfur chuckled, a low thing that was hoarse yet comforting, distantly, as he tucked the tune into the ends of his mind, he would assume this was how the laughter of a father should sound like. “Yes, even Firestar, as well as many cats that I have sadly outlived.” Who were those cats? Mousepaw could not help but wonder. Cats before his time, how were their stories written and what were they like? “Mousepaw, I may be your mentor but I wish for you to learn from every cat in Thunderclan. A warrior can have the talent to defeat those who are bigger than they may be but a true clan cat will come to understand the beauty of each and every one of their clanmates and appreciate it”. “How did you learn to appreciate it?” He asked shyly rather awed by the wisdom the older cat carried with his person. “Me?” Brackenfur asked before an even brighter smile lit his features “You see a very special kit taught me so,”
And this stumped him, no matter how hard he thought about it Mousepaw could not make any sense of the explanation he was given, even as the pair had now made their way further into the lush territory, he still continued to think upon it. It was not necessarily a bother that he could not understand how a kit alone could teach Brackenfur such a compound subject, but instead he was fairly intrigued by it. Perhaps he should speak with the kits of Ferncloud once they come into this world. Maybe then he would learn to be a refined warrior of Thunderclan.
The white apprentice bent himself down to properly sniff a tuft of grass. “Mousepaw, what do you smell?” The young cat took a few heartbeats to decipher what he had just smelled as he straightened himself. It was something most definitely nasty. An odor that had made his nose crinkle with disgust. “Something icky,” and Mousepaw had wiped his nose with his paw to rid the scent that had stayed behind; it did not work.
“I want you to remember it well, Mousepaw. This is the smell of dog”
“Is it still here?” He asked with fear gripping his words. He himself had never encountered a thing known as a ‘dog’ before but when he was just a small thing that could waddle his littermates and he would listen to the stories of the cats that had come to visit their little family within the nursery. Brightheart’s stories were the scariest in all the clan; she would tell stories of monstrous shadows that would gallop through the forest with teeth as big as young trees: dogs. The pair were far from camp but the scent was still within the territory, closer to that of the border Thunderclan shared with Shadowclan. “No, the smell is stale, but it is a matter that will be reported back to Firestar,” Brackenfur smiled kindly down at him “Just to be safe, one should never hesitate on matters such as these.” Mousepaw nodded, storing this newly given advice somewhere in the reaches of his mind.
“Well, well, well, look what we found here” A new voice made itself known and both toms’ heads turned to its source. Sorreltail emerged from the undergrowth, her dappled pelt camouflage her form well, she seemed to blend with a good number of shadows that surrounded them. Jaypaw was next to poke his head from the undergrowth, his large ears twitched and as the slender tom stepped forward, his long whiskers brushed against every plausible surface that was within reach. “Sorreltail, Jaypaw, what a surprise” The deputy greeted, having dipped his head. “Likewise, good Brackenfur, Mousepaw,” The she-cat meowed pleasantly, and a look was shared between the older warriors.
“So, Jaypaw and I just finished with our own activities, would it be any trouble if we were to join your little party?”
“Not at all, I see no problem with this, do you Mousepaw?” and the apprentice in question shook his head. Jaypaw was quick to voice his opinion however: “Do we have to?” the young dark grey cat bemoaned, “We’ve had no fun today, it’s just been lessons after lessons” Mousepaw looked to see Sorreltail’s reaction, Jaypaw was only some moons younger than him but he’d never dare to speak to his mentor in such a tone or manner. But, the molly wore a kind expression, one filled with affection at the other apprentice’s actions; the way she looked was close to motherly. “I see nothing wrong with having a break, Scruffy.” She meowed, “Actually, you’ve done well today so let’s just end class here. Mousepaw, could you take Jaypaw back to camp?” The white apprentice perked at his name and then quietly looked to his mentor for approval. Brackenfur opened his mouth, surely to say something on this matter, but with the way Sorreltail rose her brow at him the deputy was quick to push it aside with a heavy sigh, he smiled, “Go on Mousepaw, you boys get back to camp, alright?” The pair nodded, then turned to leave, and as they left they heard the friendly chatter of the older cats.
Now well within the heart of Thunderclan Jaypaw and Mousepaw had begun to make some small talk. They should have done some hunting, the forest was alive and full of prey, but both cats had done well in their lessons this morning and they really did deserve a much needed break. “Like I said, I would much rather have you as my littermate than have Lionpaw as my brother.” Jaypaw huffed aloud and Mousepaw sheepishly smiled, “I’m sure it’s not that bad, he seems like a good cat,” The white apprentice meowed, having made an attempt to defend his clanmate.
“Oh please Mousepaw, you’re always too kind, don’t give my brother so much praise it might somehow inflate his already large ego” and Mousepaw could not help himself by laughing at this statement. So much for trying to defend his clanmate. It was true however, Lionpaw’s ego, when it showed itself, could rival no other cat. Yet Mousepaw had no real quarrel with it or with the apprentice themselves, for Lionpaw was a strong and very skilled individual, even for his young age. As long as Lionpaw could continually beat every apprentice in Thunderclan then the red tom could keep his pedestal, it was well earned in Mousepaw’s eyes. Though, Berrypaw certainly did not think this way. His own littermate would wine and moan that Honeypaw would never think he was the coolest cat out there if he kept on losing to a cat that was younger than he was. Perhaps Mousepaw could kindly ask Lionpaw to go easy on his brother during their next sparring session, surely it would be a blessing upon his ears if that love-sick dolt were to shut his-
Jaypaw laughed and Mousepaw blinked from his thoughts, not having expected the sound. His brows were raised in question, not knowing what Jaypaw had found funny, the pair had just walked a good number of paw steps in comfortable silence.
“Oh,” Jaypaw’s head turned away from his line of sight in a shy manner, “Sorry, I was thinking about something funny,” Mousepaw flushed with embarrassment at the small misunderstanding, he apologized, but the awkward atmosphere had already hung itself over the pair. How silly of him, they were almost back at camp but Mousepaw wished to keep talking with Jaypaw; just a little longer nothing wrong with that, but his selfishness was a rather small part of him, it was not strong enough to ask if possibly they could idle longer. Additionally, with the delicate silence that had been created it was rather hard to strike up a conversation.
“Mousepaw?”
“Yeah?”
“I don’t want to head back to camp, yet. That’s too boring, let’s go have some fun before we return,”
Mousepaw smiled, “Ok”.

Never free of myself
Never free of my mind
Bucky Barnes x reader
Word count: 3840
Warnings: self harm, depression
Summary: Reader struggles with self harm and one day while training with Bucky, she gets found out.
A/N: I know I’m writing slower lately, but I’ve been doing a lot of preparation for college.
-------------------------
“Just stop,” you mumbled to yourself.
You hated crying. You hated how weak it made you feel. You liked being in control, and you could control your emotions for the most part, but sometimes it would just be too much. And when that happened, you were always angry. Your parents always told you not to cry when you got down, and you quickly learned to hide the tears until you were out of sight.
You had been battling depression for a while now, and you had gotten no support from your family. They hadn’t been at all empathetic, just told you to get over it and appreciate the life you have. You never really had a reason to feel so low, so you couldn’t really argue with them. You just masked the shame and pain inside so nobody else could see.
Years later, and you had it down.
You worked and lived with the Avengers now. You had been recruited for your ability to become invisible. When you first discovered your power as a young teen, you were freaked out and it made you feel even more alone than you already did. Soon after you realized it was a great way to escape a situation or avoid people all together.
You trained with them, Steve and Bucky helping you learn to fight so you could join them on missions. You were an extremely shy person at first, using mostly facial expressions and body language to communicate. But after a few weeks you began to relax around everyone, being more yourself than you had felt in a really long time.
You bonded well with Bucky in particular. The two of you liked to keep to yourself and didn’t really want anyone too close. You were both used to being alone, and you loved that someone finally seemed to understand you. The two of you became really good friends, him trusting you to talk openly about his past while you listened. But you had never told him about yours. You didn’t trust anyone with that information.
You let nobody in on your secrets. You pushed them down for when you were alone in your room at night, where no one could see or hear you. Back in your teen years, you would resort to hurting yourself as a means of coping since no one would listen to you. You didn’t know how else to handle it. And no one noticed that either, so you didn’t think it was much of a problem. You felt like you deserved it, and it helped to numb the pain for when it became too much to control.
It helped you take back the reins on your own brain.
You were currently in your room, sitting on the floor against your bed. The sun was long gone and the streets were busy with lights, the only thing illuminating your room at the moment. Besides that it was dark, but you could see enough to be able to do what you were about to.
You had a blade that was given to you for self defense in your right hand, left arm extended in front of you. You had had enough of your tears and you just wanted them to stop before they got so out of control that someone heard you. You brought the blade to your upper arm and sliced, breathing in sharply at the sting that came when the air met the cut.
You felt a little relief, but it wasn’t enough quite yet to help you feel as calm as you needed to. Angry at yourself, you brought the knife back to your arm to make a new mark just below it.
“Stop.”
Slice
“Fucking.”
Slice.
“Crying.”
Slice.
You said this through gritted teeth, gripping the blade tighten and pressing a little harder each time. You kept repeating your motions until you entered a silent peace, tears giving way to feeling numb and you could breath easily. Sighing, you put the blade down and looked at your arm. There were plenty of scars covering your body from years of this kind of release, some deep and some thin, some healing and some just memories, and some purple and raised and others white and faded. Your newest cuts were bleeding steadily, dripping from your elbow to the floor, and there was blood on your shirt as well.
You leaned your head back against the mattress and closed your eyes. You didn’t feel the need to take care of your cuts, you usually just let them clot and clean the dried blood after. You didn’t think you deserved to take care of them. You didn’t really care if they got infected. Things always worked out in the end anyways. So you waited in the blissful silence, the only noise being your breathing and heart rate which was pounding still from earlier.
You don’t know how much time passed, but eventually you stood and made your way to the bathroom. You decided that a shower would be the best and quickest way to take care of the dried blood. You turned on the water and threw your clothes into a head on the floor. You’d deal with the blood stains later. You stepped in and winced as the water hit the fresh cuts, slightly enjoying the secondary pain you were receiving.
You took your time in the shower, enjoying the warm water as it was washing over your sore body. You didn’t know why you were sore really, it just felt like your body was constantly aching. Eventually you turned the water off and stepped out, wrapping a towel around yourself and stepping back into your room and walking to your dresser to find something light to wear to bed.
You always wore long sleeves and pants when you were anywhere other than your room. You didn’t have a choice in the matter; no one knew about your little secret and you had no intention of letting it out. They’d never understand, know the voices in your head pulling you to the darkness. But, in your room alone, you were fine in a tank top and shorts. No one to hide from, no reason to hide.
You pulled on your clothes and laid down on your bed, careful to not lay on your left side. You didn’t want to have to wash the sheets again like you had a few times before. You stared at the wall for a few minutes, still numb. Eventually you were able to drift off to sleep, despite the negative thoughts still plaguing your mind
No one saw or knew about what you were going through. You would always say that you were just fine even though you weren’t. You were secretly dying inside. And not one person had a clue. Well, almost no one.
Bucky had noticed a few things about you. You were naturally a reserved person, but you seemed to have built these walls up around you. He was only able to recognize it because he had done the same when he had joined the team, scared to hurt someone or be judged. He just wanted to lay low. You had always listened to him talking about his past and everything that he had gone through, yet you never did the same. But a few times it looked like you really wanted to say something, but your walls would go back up almost as if you had never let them down. He would notice how every now and then you would drop your smile, but once again it was back as if it was always there. It made him wonder, and he wanted to help but he didn’t know what to say.
You were so sick of holding everything down, pushing people away before they got too close. You didn’t want anyone to see what you saw. You were never free of yourself. Sometimes you did want to reach out, you did want help, but you weren’t sure what people would do if they knew the truth. And you weren’t ready to risk them running away from you. You were ashamed and afraid. But you sure as hell weren’t going to let anyone know that.
The morning came much too soon for your liking, and you groaned as you sat up. You knew that this was a morning you’d be training with Bucky, and you didn’t want him to come looking for you because you weren’t ready.
Reluctantly, you stood and put on a long sleeve athletic shirt and leggings and pulled your hair into a ponytail. Your arm was still sore, but it wasn’t anything you weren’t used to. You made your way down to the gym in the tower to see Bucky standing, waiting for you. He smiled at you as a good morning and you walked over to him, doing a few warm ups before the two of you got started.
The two of you were sparing today, and the two of you were a sweating mess. You were taking a break, bringing a towel to your face and reaching for your water bottle. Bucky looked at you and asked you, “Why are you wearing long sleeves? You must be dying.”
You nearly choked on your water but played it off and shrugged your shoulders. “I dunno. Sometimes I run cold.”
He looked you up and down. He personally was overheating in his tank top and shorts, he couldn’t imagine how you were feeling right now. “Yeah, okay. Seriously, what’s up with it?”
You tried to look as innocent as you could and shrugged again. “Personal preference I guess.” He opened his mouth to ask another question, but before he could you stood and said “We should get back to it.”
After a moment he reluctantly said “Alright.” He was still unconvinced and curious. But he’d have to wait until later to learn more. The two of you moved back to the mat and began sparring again, him throwing most of the punches and you blocking. You were distracted though, and Bucky took advantage of that and grabbed your arm and turned around, flipping you over his shoulder.
You landed on your left side, crushing your arm in the process and couldn’t help the cry of pain that escaped your mouth. Immediately Bucky came over to you, and you grabbed your arm in pain as your cuts were reopened. Thank God your shirt was black and it wouldn’t show.
“Hey, what's wrong? Shit I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
You tried to breathe through the pain and shook your head. “Not your fault. I just landed on my arm wrong, no big deal.”
Bucky bought it at first, but then he realized that you were rubbing your upper arm. If it had something to do with the fall it was much more likely to be your shoulder, elbow, or wrist. But you were rubbing your bicep.
Swallowing, he asked “Y/n what’s really wrong?”
You looked at him, panic growing inside you but you tried your best not to let it show. You let out a nervous laugh that you hoped he didn’t pick up on and asked “What do you mean?”
“I mean what’s going on with you? What happened to your arm?”
You shook your head. “I don’t know what you mean. I just landed on it wrong, it’s fine.”
“Y/n -”
“BUCK IT’S FINE.” you yelled, surprising both of you. You were never the type to get angry, and Bucky had never heard you so much as get frustrated before. You never allowed yourself to be around others. You began to panic more, and stood up, but what you didn’t realize was that blood had seeped through your shirt and onto your hand.
But Bucky did
His eyes widened and he stood up with you, grabbing your right wrist and inspecting your hand. Your eyes widened too and you tried to wrestle your hand from his grasp but it was no use. You wanted to make yourself invisible right now but that would do nothing about him having you in his grasp.
“Y/n, why didn’t you tell me you were hurt?”
You sighed. “It’s nothing, really -”
“When did this even happen? You haven’t been on a mission in almost a week and you didn’t get injured. What happened?”
Tears were pricking your eyes and you said quietly, “Please just drop it.”
He shook his head and said “I can’t do that. Come on, let’s go down to medical.” He moved to walk towards the door but you stopped him yelling “NO. Please, no it’s fine I’m fine… It’s not a big deal Buck.”
Confused and concerned, he stepped closer to you and looked you in the eyes. You shifted nervously and looked away. “Y/n look at me.” When you met his gaze again he could see the tears building in your eyes. Slowly, he asked “What happened?”
You shook your head, feeling trapped. You didn’t want him to know, but you didn’t know what to say. “Buck, I… I can’t…” you said looking away again. Swallowing, Bucky said “Let’s go back to your room, where it’s more private.”
You, knowing it was worthless to protest, nodded your head and started walking to the door. He had finally let go of your hand and you crossed your arms, hiding your hands in case anyone else was around the compound.
You and Buck made it back to your room and Bucky closed the door behind him, leaning up against it. You sat on your bed, arms still crossed and eyes downcast, not wanting to look him in the eyes.
Gently, Bucky asked “Please tell me what’s going on y/n.”
You shook your head, “I don’t know what I’m supposed to say. It won’t make any sense.”
He crossed his arms and said “Try me.”
“Why do you even care? No one else does.”
A bit taken aback, Bucky furrowed his eyebrows together. “What do you mean no one cares? Everyone Here loves you and cares about you. And I’m your friend, y/n. You listen to me whenever I need someone, I just want to do the same for you.”
You covered your face with your hands, resting your elbows on your knees. Tears began trailing down your face. “I don’t even know where to start,” you blurted out. You didn’t want to hold it down anymore, and even if you did, you didn’t think Bucky was going to let you. Sitting back up, you clasped your hands together, staring at the wall. You shook your head. “I’m a fucking train wreck. Always have been. No one cared so I learned to hide it away, I didn’t tell anyone. Something bout attention.” you let out a bitter laugh. “I learned how to deal with it on my own so I never tried to talk to anyone. I didn’t want to bother you guys.”
Bucky remained silent, listening attentively. He was getting a horrible feeling in his stomach as he realized why you were bleeding. Clearing his throat, he hesitantly asked, “And how do you deal with it?”, knowing the answer already.
Taking a deep breath, you stood up. Bucky was confused as to what you were doing, but then you pulled your shirt over your head and dropped it on the ground. Bucky couldn’t help the widening of his eyes or the sharp intake of breath at what he saw. Your entire torso and both arms were almost completely covered with scars. Old and new, deep and shallow. But the ones that concerned him the most were the ones from last night.
They were deep, and probably needed stitches. But it was too late for that. He stepped closer to you, trying to get a closer look. He was speechless, and the color was draining from his face as he looked closer. “Y/n…”
“I’m sorry.” you choked out, sobs beginning to overtake your body. “Fuck…” you muttered, trying to turn away to hide. You suddenly felt like the room was much too small, and you did not want to appear weaker than you already did right now.
Bucky pulled you into him, despite your resistance. You tensed up and tried to push away, but Bucky kept a tight hold on you though, and eventually you gave in, melting into his hold and crying harder. It was no use trying to stop it. You were overwhelmed, you felt out of control, and you wanted nothing more than to run away and get some control back.
You kept sputtering apologies but Bucky kept shushing you, not having any of it. In his eyes you had nothing to be sorry for, he was worried, but he had no idea it would be this bad. He wanted to help you but he felt like he was in way over his head. All he knew was that right now you needed someone to lean on.
You were trying to get a handle on your emotions, but the more you tried it seemed to just get worse. Your breathing was getting shallower and your heart rate was getting faster. You felt trapped and you just wanted him to leave so you could take care of it.
Bucky had picked up on this and held you a little tighter, as tightly as he could without hurting you. “Breath doll. I got you, you’re safe.” He deepened his own breathing and rubbed your back, trying to get you to match his. “Bucky please, just...fuck I… I just need to…” you brought one of your hands to your sides, digging your nails into your skin trying to get some relief.
He hushed you again, pulling away your hand despite your whimpering. “I know you feel like you do, but you don’t need it. Let me help you y/n. Just try to breathe with me.”
You buried your face in his chest, feeling helpless in the situation. You needed to feel better but the only way you knew how was through hurting yourself. Which Bucky wasn’t making an option. You closed your eyes and balled your hands into fists against his chest, trying to focus on your inhaling and exhaling. You tried to slow it down, dragging out each breath like Bucky was. It took a long time, but eventually your panic fell and only your tears remained.
Now that you felt a little more in control, shame and embarrassment at what had just happened began to overtake you. How could you be so pathetic as to crack like this? You suddenly felt extremely exposed and vulnerable, and you wanted to hide away. Go back to the way it was. You tried to wrestle yourself out of his tight hold, but it was no use.
Bucky still held you tightly, afraid you would start again if he let go. “I’m sorry y/n. That I didn’t notice, tht I didn’t say anything when I did, and that no one else did. Those people in your past were wrong. You deserve so much more than this. You’re not a mistake y/n. I may not fully understand y/n, but I want to.”
You shook your head. “I shouldn’t have pulled you into this. You don’t deserve this on top of everything you went through. I - there’s no escaping this, and I’ve accepted that.” You looked back up to meet his eyes. “You don’t deserve to watch me unravel. Just… try to forget this.”
Bucky’s heart broke a little bit more for you. That you didn’t want help because you didn’t want to hurt anyone. That you truly believed that you were a burden. The hopelessness and the casualty of how you said that there was no escaping this...it scared him. Still, he tried not to show this and shook his head. Pulling You back into his arms.
“You know I can’t do that y/n, even if I wanted to. You don;t have to do this alone. You don’t have to hide from me, you can’t taint me. You are not and never could be a burden to me or anyone on this team. I know this helps and you feel like it’s the only thing that will, but you can’t keep doing this to yourself.” He felt tears pricking his eyes. “I can’t stand the idea of you hurting yourself. You’ve been hurting for long enough. Let me help you, please.”
You sighed, closing your eyes and shaking your head slightly. “I want to, I want to so bad,” you whispered. “How can you help me?”
Bucky tried to piece together a few ideas that would help you while not invading your privacy either. “Well, I’m always here to talk to. You know I’m up at all hours of the day y/n. I’m just a few doors down. I would like to take what you’re using but I understand if it’s too soon for that. Just please, tell me before you do this. And if you can’t, just...find me after.”
You pondered for a few moments before you asked, “Are you going to tell anyone?”
Bukcy sighed a little. “I won’t tell anyone you don’t want me to. But…” he started, speaking gently so as not to freak you out with his request, “I think we need to tell Bruce.”
You tensed and shook your head, and Bucky continued “Y/n some of these are really bad. You should have gotten stitches. They could get infected and make things a whole lot worse than they are now.” You had started crying again, knowing he was right but not wanting to admit it.
After a few moments of silence, Bucky asked “Do you trust me?”
You nodded your head slowly.
Bucky let out a small breath of relief. “Can I bring you down to medical?”
You weighed your options a little, coming to the conclusion that maybe this was best. “Will you stay with me?”
“Whatever you need y/n”
You took a moment before nodding again. Bucky smiled a little before saying “We all care about you y/n. Always will.”
“Thank you,” you said softly.
“Anytime,” he said, giving you a small squeeze before releasing his grip on you. You immediately grabbed your shirt and pulled it back on, crossing your arms over your chest as you met his gaze again. He gave you a soft smile which you returned shyly. “Why are you being so nice to me?”
“Because I’m your friend. And you would do the same for me.” he replied.
You looked down and nodded a little. After a few moments Bucky asked “You ready to go?”
You bit your lip nervously. “Yeah. yeah I think so.”

congrats on 800!! Can I request a jealous bakugo?? where he really likes the reader but they’re always with todoroki
UHHH FUCK YEAH I LOVE BOTH BAKUGOU AND TODOROKI LET’S DO THIS
warnings: cursing, unedited, shouto is your best friend, bakugou is a jealous dumbass. I had so so so much fun writing this i SWEAR
Todoroki was your first friend at UA
even while he was still very reserved and quiet, you made it a mission to befriend him. He didn’t talk a lot, but he seemed sweet, and you simply decided you wanted to know him better
so you did. At first, Todoroki didn’t understand why you were so set on being friends with him, but little by little you carved your place into his life and heart
you become best friends and he appreciates you so much! you’re always together and he invites you over when his dad isn’t around and his siblings absolutely love you
at one point they ask you if there’s something else in your friendship but you’re both quick to shut it down
“So… What’s going on between you two? Are you dating or something?”
“What? No!” “Of course not, sister. We’re just friends.”
“Oh, alright.”
you’re really close though and spend a lot of time in each other’s company because you simply like to
and then there’s Bakugou
you tried to talk to him and maybe make friends during your first weeks at UA but he shut you out so fucking fast
you were kinda hurt to be honest
but you quickly understood that he was like that to everyone, so it wasn’t personal, which made you feel a bit better
until the Sports Festival, that is
Bakugou can’t help but notice how well you fight and how hard you work
you’re on Todoroki’s team for the Cavalry Battle
and you’re so absolutely necessary for the team’s victory that he can’t help but start paying a little more attention to you
he always thought you were an annoying, stupid extra
but you’re proving him wrong, and he’s here for it. It’s nice to know there’s actual competent people besides him at UA
during the Battle Tournament you obliterate all your opponents you’re unstoppable
Bakugou is so fucking impressed he doesn’t even notice how Todoroki, the emotionless boy, is constantly cheering you on from the crowd
everyone is completely shocked because yes, they knew you were friends with Shouto, but they weren’t aware you guys were close enough for him to force his stoic expression from his face for once and actually smile and cheer and give out positive reinforcement
like what
you end up on the semi-finals with Bakugou
and you really give him a run for his money
he had noted that you were a lot stronger and smarter than you looked, and actually fighting you proved that even further
you only lost for a slip up, to be honest. For the first time in weeks, maybe months, you were paying attention to Bakugou Katsuki. and, God, you hadn’t noticed how good-looking he was
Shouto was the most beautiful boy you had ever seen in your entire life, that was for sure, but there was this moment during your battle when Bakugou smiled and your brain short-circuited
so he blew you off the ring, obviously
he was surprised he was actually able to get you. He thought you would somehow escape it, and he wondered what had taken your focus away
he wasn’t even aware of the small smile that graced his lips for that millisecond. He just stared at you, looking all powerful and strong and ready to destroy him without hesitation and it just happened
none of you talked about it
when he battled Todoroki, he heard you scream “Go, Shouto!”
and it made his blood boil
why the fuck were you cheering for fucking Half-and-Half?
Were you dating or some shit?
you certainly should be cheering for him, since he was the one who defeated you which meant you had to recognize his superiority
right?
but no. there you were yelling, “You can do this, Shouto! You can do this!”
you even called the bastard by his first name
ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous
when you saw him tied and muzzled to the first place you were completely livid
you tried to argue and stop it but no one listened to you
when they finally let Bakugou go, you came to him, eyes glowing with worry and anger.
“Are you okay? They shouldn’t have done that. How do you feel?”
“Get out of my way, extra. Don’t fucking worry about me.”
Todoroki’s ear perked up at hearing someone mistreat his best friend
but he knew you could handle it, so he stood close by, watching
on any other occasion, you would’ve felt hurt, sad even, but you could see the shame in Bakugou’s eyes. The embarrassment.
“Alright. See you, Bakugou. Hope you get home alright.”
and you left, walking towards Shouto with a soft smile before going away with him
Bakugou would never admit it, but he appreciated your words more than anyone else’s.
once more, that smile took a place on his face without him even noticing
after that, Bakugou became a lot nicer around you
he would quietly mutter a “hello” when you passed by his seat during the morning
and at one point he even let you borrow his notes to copy during this one day you got the flu
sometimes you would see him studying at the library and you would smile widely and sit next to him on the table he was occupying
if it was anyone else he would definitely yell at them to leave
but he didn’t really mind your company. Having you around was strangely nice. Not that he would ever say that out loud, of course, but yeah. It really was.
you were a part of the stupid rescue team that went after him when he was kidnapped
he was only made aware of that way later, since you stayed behind with Shouto and Momo
and it kinda made him mad because wasn’t fucking IcyHot your boyfriend or some shit? How could he let you get into dangerous stunts like this? Was he an idiot?
when you moved into the dorms, Bakugou noticed how you were always around Todoroki
he noticed how you were always in each other’s rooms and how you had lunch together and how stupid bitch ass Half-and-Half knew how you liked your coffee and always had it ready for you in the mornings
it made him see red, for some reason. He hated seeing you with Shouto.
he wondered why didn’t you want to be around him like that. Did you think he was ugly? Rude? Did he smell bad?
Not that it mattered, of course. He didn’t give a shit about some dumb extra like you
except he really did
couldn’t you be away from Todoroki for a single second? Did you really have to stay around him all the time? That’s some fucking bullshit right there
you shouldn’t waste your time with stupid IcyHot, you deserved better than that! You were powerful and smart and nice and gorgeous and Todoroki was an idiot
right? Right! You would have a lot more fun being around other people that weren’t Shouto!
so he suggested it, albeit quietly, to his friends. They were having lunch and Shitty Hair was spewing useless information like he always fucking did, and he muttered it. Bakugou didn’t talk a lot during lunch, so his words had heads turning to him almost immediately
“We should invite Y/N to have lunch with us someday.”
Dunce Face opened the biggest fucking smile and he regretted all the decisions he had ever made in his entire life
“Why, Bakubro? Do you have a crush or something?”
“Shut the fuck up, you fucking bastard!”
Shitty Hair giggled, “Calm down, bro, it’s fine. Yeah, I think that would be nice. Y/N seems like a really fun person, don’t you think?”
he shot you a quick glance. You were sitting with your friends (including damn Deku and stupid IcyHot), and you were laughing. You looked so beautiful when you laughed and he didn’t even notice the slight movement of his lips
“Wait, is Bakugou smiling?”
“I TOLD YOU TO SHUT THE FUCK UP BEFORE I—”
the next day you found yourself sitting between Bakugou and Todoroki on the Bakusquad table
Bakugou didn’t think inviting you meant inviting fucking Half-and-Half but that was a given, apparently
however
he figured he didn’t mind Todoroki that much if you kept brushing your shoulder into his when you moved, or if you kept laughing next to him
He invited you over his room to study one day because you had mentioned you were struggling with math during lunch
and then suddenly you were always hanging out. Study dates, movie nights, sparring matches, and he even cooked you dinner once or twice when everyone else went out to eat and you both stayed behind to work on some homework
honestly everything was going amazing and you were spending time together and Bakugou would never admit it but he was growing to really fucking love having alone time with you
and, God, how could you get more beautiful every time he saw you?
then
“I won’t be able to hang out this weekend, I’m going out with Shouto.”
He froze on the spot.
“What?”
“Yeah! We haven’t gone out in quite some time, so he invited me out to a date.”
“A… A date?”
“That’s right. We are just going to visit his mom, get some dinner, and then sleep over at his house, I think. It’ll be nice, I’ve missed him a lot lately.”
Bakugou felt his blood fucking boil
“Why would you even want to go on a date with stupid Half-and-Half? He’s an idiot.”
“What? Why are you saying that?”
“I’m sure you would be a lot happier going on a date with me. I’m a lot better than that dumbass, you hear me? I’d buy you those stupid sweet things you like.”
You were struggling to keep yourself from smiling at this point
“You mean chocolate?”
“Yeah, that bullshit. And I’d pay for dinner. We’d get whatever you want, and I wouldn’t take you to visit my fucking mom. That’s so lame and stupid, just like damn IcyHot. And we’d have a movie night, like the ones we always do. I’d even let you choose one of your dumb movies.”
“You’d let me choose the movie? You never do that!”
“Tch, whatever. Go out with your fucking boyfriend, I don’t fucking care. It’s your loss!”
You giggled and it sent him in a frenzy
“What the fuck are you laughing at, dumbass? I’ll kill you!”
You grinned and his heart jumped wildly inside his chest.
“Are you jealous, Katsuki?”
that’s his first fucking name. you called him by his first fucking name
he blushed SO hard
“No! Of course I’m not! Don’t say stupid shit like that!”
You giggled again
“You know, when I said I was going out for a date with Shouto, I meant a friendly date. We’re nothing but friends. Besides, I like someone else.”
“Tch.”
He was still blushing.
“Katsuki?”
He snarled, “What?”
“You’re the one I like, stupid.”
“Don’t you fucking dare call me stupid, you—wait, you like me?”
“Yes, very much.”
he somehow blushed even harder. With red cheeks and crossed arms, he stared at everywhere but you
“Well, then fucking tell Half-and-Half to fuck off. I’m the one who’s taking you on a date.”
you laughed and, God, the sound of your laugh and your voice and your giggles were things he absolutely adored
“Sure, Katsuki. I’ll let him know.”
once more, an accidental smile overtook his lips.

Futures past pt5 / on AO3
Nie Huaisang chats with Su She, and gets reminded of his mission
"I swear, if that shixiong of yours doesn't stop sneering like that every time he sees you, I'm stealing you," Nie Huaisang grumbled as they walked away from the training grounds. “And then da-ge will be happy to have another hard working disciple, and you will be happy to never deal with those stuck up idiots, and I will be happy to have a friend at home!”
Su She rolled his eyes, but there was a faint smile on his lips that pleased Nie Huaisang. He’d figured out pretty quickly that Su She liked being praised, reacting to it like a man lost in the desert who'd found an oasis. It was funny, and a little cute, and Nie Huaisang was only too happy to build up his new friend’s self esteem. When Su She was in a good mood, he was a little more willing to help Nie Huaisang with his homework, at least some of the time. He refused to actually do the work for Nie Huaisang, which was a shame, but just getting help was already something.
And it was help that Nie Huaisang desperately needed.
As weeks passed, it had become quite obvious that he was horrifyingly bad at studying, his grade plummeting down with each new test and surprise quiz. At least he could somewhat manage his homework if Su She or Lan Xichen were helping him, but… but he kept being punished because of his bad grades, meaning he ended up with very little time to spend with either of them. When he went to Lan Xichen’s house, he usually did some homework because that was easier than making conversation, but it didn’t happen that often. As for Su She… well, there were more fun things they could do together, and Nie Huaisang would fail his classes no matter what, so why waste time on something as stupid as homework now it was all obviously in vain?
“What’s the plan today?” Nie Huaisang asked.
"My mother sent me some treats from home and I don't mind sharing," Su She announced. "She figured I'd be sad, since I'm not able to go back for Qingming this year either. The teachers say my attitude isn't good enough yet, and going home might ruin all my progress."
"They're all too hard on you, I swear."
Su She shrugged. He was used to this. From what Nie Huaisang understood, most outer disciples were treated quite harshly until they proved they could be trusted to follow the rules. It might not have been so bad if Su She had been more the side to bend his neck and obey everything like some of the others, but he really had too much pride for a disciple of Gusu Lan. Still, being away from home for Qingming was harsh.
Of course, Nie Huaisang too was stuck in the Cloud Recesses. In his case, that was because the trip would have been too long when he couldn't fly on his sabre, and Lan Qiren had warned Nie Mingjue that it would be bad for his brother to miss any classes due to that. The other Nie disciples had no such problem though, so they'd left and he was currently all alone in the cabin they shared.
Nie Huaisang didn't mind. A little quiet was nice.
“Let’s go to my cabin to have some tea,” Nie Huaisang offered. “We can eat what your mother sent, and I should also still have some sweets, and I don’t mind sharing if it’s with you.”
It was, actually, almost the last of the candies he’d brought from home, and he hadn’t been able to get more. Students were allowed days off to visit the nearby town sometimes, but Nie Huaisang had been denied that privilege on account of his grades. He had thought of going anyway, but so far his fear of Lan Qiren still outweighed his desperate need for something fun. If Su She had been willing to come with him, perhaps… but Su She wasn’t exactly in a great position either, and didn’t want to make his situation worse by purposefully breaking rules, so they were both stuck inside the Cloud Recesses, the most beautiful prison in the world.
But it was a prison with decent company, and Su She agreed to that offer for tea. With just the two of them, they were able to get quite cozy in the Nie cabin. They dropped on the floor all the blankets in the cabin so they could sit in decadent comfort, at least by Cloud Recesses' standards. Half sprawled by the table, they drank the best tea Nie Huaisang had to offer at that moment (he promised, not for the first time, that one day he’d invite Su She to visit the Unclean Realm where he had access to much better leaves), traded treats much sweeter and tastier than anything usually available to eat away from home, and chatted quite freely, knowing there was nobody around to scold them if they got too gossipy.
Su She, who tried so hard to never say anything bad about his fellow disciples where someone might here, ended up spitting a lot of venom on all those other Lan juniors, sparring neither inner nor outer disciples and denouncing their treatment of him as unfair.
“After all,” he spat, “I’m a much better musician than Han Mingzhe and Bao Tong, and my swordsmanship is at least as good as Li Xiaoping, but they don’t get scolded as much. But Bao Tong and Li Xiaoping have parents who are rogue cultivators, and Han Mingzhe’s parents are farmers which is at least honourable, while my father is a merchant, and a rich one at that. Everyone says I just bought my way into cultivation!”
Nie Huaisang frowned, looking down at his currently empty cup. This, he thought, would have been a conversation better accompanied by some wine. Complaining while drinking tea just wasn’t as fun.
“It’s stupid,” he said. “I mean, sure you can buy pills and all, but that wouldn’t take you very far with Gusu Lan’s style, that’s more of a Jin thing.”
Immediately, Su She hunched up his shoulders and looked down, a spot of colour on his cheeks.
“Actually my father tried to get me into Lanling Jin at first,” Su She muttered, sounding ashamed of the confession. “But they didn’t want me because I didn’t know anything about using a sword and they said I was already too old to be taught. Then we tried Gusu Lan, because we’d heard they use music, and I’m good at that. They also said I was a bit old, but they still took me in because they said I might catch up if I worked hard enough. But some of the other juniors still heard about me trying for Lanling Jin, and they’re convinced I must have cheated somehow, and… Well, a merchant’s son, no way I can have gotten here on my own merit, eh? Merchants are all dishonest, right?”
Nie Huaisang grimaced, because he could just imagine the sort of things that Su She might have been accused of. Even his brother’s sect, which tried to reward merit and talent above all else, wasn’t always kind to anyone coming from a merchant’s family. It was a profession with money, but that didn't count all that much when the way they'd gotten that money was through the work of others, not like farmers or scholars who put such high efforts into their respective crafts. Of course, being descended from butchers, the Nie couldn’t exactly look down on others for their origins, and yet…
“Have you told the seniors about this?” he asked Su She.
His friend shrugged and scoffed.
“What for? Most of them agree, or they wouldn’t be so hard on me.”
“Then… what if I told Lan Xichen?” Nie Huaisang offered. “If he says something in your favour, then everyone else will have to be nice to you!”
“Lan gongzi despises me,” Su She muttered. “Sometimes I cross paths with him, and he looks at me like I’m lower than dirt. With everyone else he’s nice, but me… it’s like he hates me, personally. And it’s worse when I’m with you.”
Nie Huaisang's enthusiasm deflated at the reminder.
At least, this confirmed it wasn’t just his imagination. He also thought he had noticed that Lan Xichen appeared to harbour some kind of personal dislike toward Su She, but he couldn’t understand why. By all accounts, Su She had always managed to be perfectly polite around the sect leader’s sons, and while his personality wasn’t the most Lan-like, Nie Huaisang knew his friend had never done anything that cast shame upon his sect. It might have been about Su She’s origins then, but somehow that didn’t sound right either.
Lan Xichen was a little boring, but he put great value on his sect’s rules, and those rules said clearly that people should be judged by their actions, not their origins. Nie Huaisang had copied those damn rules often enough to know that. It really was so odd for Lan Xichen to react like this to Su She, and that made Nie Huaisang want to understand why. Everything else about Lan Xichen was so boring, but this detail made him feel like there might be some personality in the older boy after all.
“I could still ask him to do something,” Nie Huaisang insisted. “He can look the other way if nobody tells him, but I’m a young master of a sect too. I'm not very good at being one, but when I say something, he still had to listen. And if I tell him his father’s disciples are little shits, he’ll have to do something, or all of Gusu Lan will lose face.”
Su She’s expression only turned darker. “It will just make everyone hate me more, even the ones who didn’t care before. Please don’t say anything. I’m just going to work harder, and prove everyone wrong, and when I’m good enough I’ll…” he pinched his lips and dropped his gaze to the table. “They’ll see, they’ll all see. When I’m good enough, I’ll show them all, and everyone will regret that they didn’t respect me.”
Nie Huaisang nodded, and even patted Su She on the shoulder, feeling quite sorry for him. He’d never thought about it before, but the way things were was a little unfair. Su She was so hard working and getting results for his effort, but people treated him like dirt, while Nie Huaisang couldn’t be bothered with anything and would have failed even if he tried, but everyone still felt forced to treat him with a minimum of respect because of his brother.
It really wasn’t fair at all, but all Nie Huaisang could do was stand by Su She and make it clear he saw his friend’s talent, even if everybody else was too damn stupid to notice him.
Nie Huaisang couldn't do anything to help, but he made sure to give Su She the last of his candies, and hoped that counted for something.
-
It was always too damn quiet in the Cloud Recesses at night, and Nie Huaisang struggled to get used to it. Back home, there was always the noise of something happening somewhere. Disciples who'd decided to continue training after sunset, those on watch duty doing their rounds, servants going about their business... it was a constant reminder that people were around and the world was safe.
In the Cloud Recesses, there was nothing. If not for the snoring coming from one of his companions, Nie Huaisang might as well have been alone in the world.
Nobody was snoring that night. He was alone, and would be for at least two more, until the others returned from seeing their families and honouring their ancestors.
It was annoying enough to be stuck in this lonely quiet place in daylight, when he could at least see people, when he’d been able to pester Su She and feel less alone. Only Su She had long returned to the dorms he shared with other Lan disciples, and Nie Huaisang was alone in this deafening silence.
That was why he couldn’t sleep.
That was why he heard those footsteps coming near his bed, when there shouldn’t have been anyone else in that lonely cabin. It couldn’t be a demon or a ghost, not in the Cloud Recesses, which should have been a comfort. Once, before his father went mad, it would have been.
There were things against which no magical barrier could offer protection.
The footsteps came to a stop near the bed. Nie Huaisang silently shivered under his blanket, biting into his fist to avoid making any sound. If he was quiet, if he pretended not to be there, things would be fine. It had worked whenever his father went into a rage. Back then, as long as Nie Huaisang didn't move, his father seemed not to see him, a trick he'd figured out very quickly and shared with Nie Mingjue.
Maybe it would work here too.
Or maybe not.
Nie Huaisang felt a hand grab his blanket, and all coherent thoughts left him. He shrieked in terror as he leapt out of his bed, nearly falling face first onto the floor but caught at the last moment by strong, slender hands.
“What are you crying like that for?” he heard a strange yet familiar voice huff. “Do you really think anyone would dare attack you here? It’s only me.”
Blinking away a few tears, Nie Huaisang scrambled to stand up while his future self watched him with an unimpressed expression.
“Sorry,” Nie Huaisang muttered, trying to put some order to his night clothes. “I get scared at night sometimes. Well, you’d know. Do… Does it get better?”
“No,” the older man bearing his face said, opening his fan. It was a different one from last time, but just as gorgeous. “It gets worse. I don’t sleep much these days. Haven’t in years. It’s a waste of time anyway.”
Nie Huaisang, who often thought that sleeping was the best part of his day, as long as he didn’t start panicking over nothing, didn’t know what to answer to that. He had a feeling his opinion on the matter wasn’t required anyway.
“So, uh, aside from sleeping, how have you been?” he awkwardly asked. “Anything interesting happened to you? How does time even pass for you? Did you also have to wait for several months, or is it just after the last time we talked for you?”
His future self glared and sharply closed his fan, making Nie Huaisang jump and effectively silencing him.
"How is Lan Xichen?” the man asked. “Have you made progress with him yet?"
"We've talked here and there, but he's always so busy," Nie Huaisang muttered, wringing his hands. “It's really hard to chat with him, you know. And he’s got such boring hobbies, too.”
Not music and painting, those were valid ways to pass time, in Nie Huaisang’s opinion. And sometimes, serious people couldn’t avoid doing some amount of work, so he didn't even begrudge Lan Xichen that either.
But Nie Huaisang hadn’t taken long to realise that whenever they were spending time together, Lan Xichen wasn’t actually doing any sect work. After all, Nie Mingjue had tried to force his little brother to help with those things, so he knew what that looked like. And it wasn't calligraphy either that occupied the older boy, because Nie Huaisang loved that and would have struck a conversation about it if given a chance.
Instead, Lan Xichen had made a hobby of copying books and treaties.
Nie Huaisang had asked, once or twice, if Lan Xichen was trying to learn those texts by heart. The older boy had very awkwardly agreed that he was indeed doing just that, but he hadn’t sounded very convinced. He really was such a poor liar. Lan Xichen was going to be awful at politics if he didn’t learn how to conceal his thoughts. Then again, he wasn’t always like that, was he? With most people he was placid and radiating a sort of empty warmth. It was just around Nie Huaisang that he would get weird, and maybe around Su She as well, as if his disdain was just too great to be contained.
Just as Nie Huaisang was about to ask his older self if he’d ever found out what he and his friend had done to Lan Xichen to be so disliked by him, the man grabbed him by the collar and shook him.
"I thought I'd told you this was essential," his older self hissed, sounding too much like Nie Huaisang's father all of a sudden. "And you’re still only thinking about having fun! Do you want da-ge to die?"
"Of course not!"
"Then get serious about this,” the man ordered, shaking his young self once more before pushing him away with enough force that Nie Huaisang stumbled and nearly fell. “You have to earn Lan Xichen's trust, or he will choose the wrong friend, idiot that he is."
"Well, can't you give me hints?” Nie Huaisang mumbled in a trembling voice, trying again to straighten his clothes in spite of shaking hands. “You've got to know more about him than I do, can't you tell me how I'm supposed to get close to him?"
This, of course, earned him another disdainful glare.
"I don't remember the boy he was," his future self said, "and the man he became was never worth my attention. Figure this out on your own, and be useful for once."
It struck Nie Huaisang as very unfair that his future self was allowed to not have anything to do with Lan Xichen, but wouldn't extend the same kindness to him. It also worried him that the man before him disliked Lan Xichen so much. Nie Huaisang just found the older boy a little boring, but he didn't have any particularly strong opinion about him.
“You can’t do that!” he complained, clenching his fists. “You can’t… I’ve got to be told things! And if you can’t tell me about how to get close to Lan Xichen, then… then at least tell my why it’s important, and why… how does da-ge die, anyway?”
“Murdered, I’ve told you that already.”
Nie Huaisang stumped his foot. “There’s so many ways to murder someone, that doesn’t narrow it down at all! Tell me how, and tell me who…” He trailed off, a horrible suspicion hitting him. “Did… did Lan Xichen…”
Just thinking of it, Nie Huaisang felt a little faint and had to stumble against the closest wall, just to get some support. Whatever he thought of Lan Xichen, that was still his brother’s closest friend, Nie Mingjue's only friend. And besides, Lan Xichen didn’t strike him as a murderer. People changed, certainly, but how could a person have changed that much?
And yet his own future self, standing before him, was proof that such a complete transformation was possible. Nie Huaisang really didn’t see anything of himself in that man, nothing except his aged up face and perhaps a taste for fashion.
“Lan Xichen is too much of a coward,” his older self proclaimed, mouth twisting in disgust. “But he helped the murderer, willingly or not, and sided with him so many times that I’ve never dared come to him with the truth. I wasn’t sure he’d trust me, even with proof. I still have my opinion on that, whatever some others think he'd have done. But you…” he waved his closed fan toward Nie Huaisang. “You might change that. Da-ge’s opinion alone wasn’t enough, but Lan Xichen has no will of his own, he’ll be easily swayed if two people he trusts are denouncing the true nature of the man he protects. That’s all I feel safe telling you at the moment. I don’t trust you not to mess things up if you know too much. You only learned too late to keep your mouth shut.”
It still sounded odd to Nie Huaisang that Lan Xichen could ever side against Nie Mingjue. Not long ago, he would have called his older self a liar, because Lan Xichen was boring but honest and just. Now though, having seen how Lan Xichen looked at Su She who had never done him any wrong… maybe it was possible that Lan Xichen would turn into a bad man, since he was clearly capable of being unjust after all.
“I’ll work harder to get close to him,” Nie Huaisang promised, pushing himself away from the wall now that he felt steadier again. “I really will. Maybe I can ask him to help with lessons a little more… I really need it, if I want to pass.”
“You’re not going to pass,” his older self announced. “It’s fine. Da-ge will send you here again, and you’ll meet some useful allies.”
At the news, Nie Huaisang let out a deep, heartfelt sigh. Having to come back in this boring place for another year sounded like torture, even with Su She for company. And then, meeting more people his future self wanted him to befriend… weren’t these people going to be just as boring as Lan Xichen?
While Nie Huaisang despaired, his adult self turned to check on something only he could see, and huffed.
“I’m running out of time. Fine, let’s be quick. Did you bring with you the information I gave you last time about Meng Yao?”
“Yes, I have it.”
Nie Huaisang took a step toward the place he’d stored his qiankun pouch, but his older self stopped him with a gesture.
“That Night Hunt in Yunping should happen fairly soon now. You have to go,” the older man ordered. “One way or another, you have to go. I don’t know when else we’d have such a chance to alter Meng Yao’s fate, and it is vital that he doesn’t enter Lanling Jin. Do whatever you must do, take whatever risk you must take, but make sure Meng Yao cannot join the Jin.”
Nie Huaisang obediently nodded, half spooked by the edge in his older self’s voice whenever he said that Meng Yao’s voice. Hating someone was just too much effort in his opinion, but apparently he’d grow to hate that Meng Yao person. But if that person was fated to play a part in Nie Mingjue’s death… in that case, and that case alone, Nie Huaisang could imagine he’d maybe become enraged enough to do something about it.
“I’ll do my best,” Nie Huaisang promised, hoping he wouldn’t have to actually kill anyone. Murder was messy, and Nie Mingjue would be cross, even if it was to save his life.
“I know what your best is,” his older self snapped. “You’ll have to do better than that. Take care of Meng Yao, get in Lan Xichen’s good graces, and then… then we’ll see,” he mused. “Depending on how well you do that, there might still be a few loose threads to cut. Xue Yang and Su She didn’t need the Jin to make trouble, we might do everyone a service and…”
“What about Su She?” Nie Huaisang cried out, grasping the older man’s wrists.
He was roughly pushed away, and earned a nasty glare for his outburst.
“Don’t mind that yet,” his older self said, straightening his sleeves. “All that matters for now is Meng Yao and Lan Xichen. Focus on them, I’ll explain the rest when the time comes.”
“But that’s…”
“I’ll return in a few months. You’d better have good news for me next time.”
Nie Huaisang launched himself at the older man, wanting to grab him again and force him to explain why he’d mentioned Su She. His hands found only empty air and he stumbled forward, falling to his knees on the hard wooden floor. It hurt, and might even bruise later, but Nie Huaisang didn’t even think to rub them or cry.
He knelt there far too long in that lonely cabin, and wondered what might happen in the future that would cause him to treat Su She as an enemy.
