I, personally, think one of the grossest fandom misrepresentation is the fact that, collectively, I've seen people view Nico di Angelo as introverted.

He's not.

In fact, there's sufficient evidence that prove he's actually quite extraverted, and all three Greco-Roman series have plot points that are directly affected by Nico di Angelo actively seeking people out and becoming their friends (Nico & Hestia in TLO, Nico & Bob in HOH, and Nico & the Troglodytes in TON).

I think where this common misconception comes from is, most of the time, we see Nico from the point of view of someone else, and to most people in universe, he'd seen as being introverted, because of how much he isolates himself from other demigods (who we are getting this pov from), but if we look at him through an unbiased lens, it's pretty obvious that this is not a sign of introversion, but rather insecurity. Nico believes he's a burden and an outcast, and therefore doesn't wish to interact with most people because of that. He's afraid of being denied things as a son of Hades, and therefore doesn't interact much with demigods at the beginning.

But non-demigods? He'll yap all day long. He saw Hestia sitting alone and he approached without any fear or animosity because he saw someone lonely and marched over there so that she could have a friend. And he stayed her friend. Percy and Annabeth survived Tartarus because Nico actively sought out Bob after the events of The Sword of Hades and yapped to him about Percy and how good he is even if Percy never thought to befriend Bob until it was too late. The fact that Nico had befriended the troglodytes basically allowed to Apollo to become immortal again, and save Bob in TSATS.

Nico gets overwhelmed easily in groups, I believe, more has to do with the fact that he's neurodivergent and self-isolated for so long that he's forgotten how to act, and that itself is overstimulating. While I do agree Nico has some introverted traits (as does every extravert because it's not a one or the other thing) I think he is shown to be a lot more extraverted in the Riordanverse as a whole.

If you think Nico is far more introverted than extraverted, I'd love to hear your reasonings, but I think as a fandom people have strongly mischaracterized him, and want to talk about it.

Steve indulges you every now and then with old movies. You're obsessed with those musical movies from the fifties, soft colours, cool cat leading men and blunt heroines. Your very favourite are the ones with love triangles, though Steve hasn't ever thought you'd like to be entangled in one yourself. 

Entangled in him, absolutely. "That is ridiculous," you say softly, sitting entirely in his lap, an arm around his neck and another his waist. "She loves him." 

"She does." When the heroine of Young At Heart realised one of her love interests didn't have a present for the birthday party they were going to attend together, she bought one for him so he wouldn't feel embarrassed —yet she's planning on marrying the other man. "Poor Frank. He looks shocked." 

"I'd be shocked. Lucky me, you've never sprung a sudden engagement on me," you say, your fingers rubbing mindlessly into his side. Your affection is often thoughtless. You care for him like another must-do, in time and rhythm with your breathing. 

"To another girl, you mean?" he asks warmly.

You're skewed sideways, your legs laying across the rest of the couch, his legs kicked up on the coffee table. He keeps trying to force himself up for a shower and you keep leaning into his front or scratching your nails from his ribs to his hip, convincing him otherwise.

"If we ever… got engaged," you begin unsurely, eyes on the television to avoid his gaze, he's sure, "would we have a nice party like that?"

"When we get engaged we'll do whatever you want. We can have a party, send out ivory invitations with eleven point four Times New Roman font. All the trimmings." 

"Eleven point four." Your eyes soften with your smile. "What do you know about invitations?" 

"My mom had tons of stupid parties. She didn't always send out invitations, but when she did, she'd have them done right. I got to lick the envelopes." 

"Lucky Stevie." 

You shift backwards so your weight is on the couch rather than Steve, your back to the armrest and your thighs over his legs rather than on top of him. He can see your face better in this new position, and it's fitting: the love interest on TV starts spouting about how beautiful the heroine is, how her face is a tribute to the heavens if there ever were one. Smiling as you are, Steve has to agree. 

"What were they like, the parties?" 

Steve bites the tip of his tongue. "Fine," he says eventually. "They were fine. They'd set up buffet tables covered in hors d'oeuvres and everyone would walk around in their cocktail dresses and tailored suits drinking champagne and whiskey." His tone lightens toward the end, a put upon theatric for you to make it sound less snotty. 

"Did you wear a suit?" you ask. 

"Button down, usually."

"Nice! I bet you looked adorable. Do you have any photos?" 

"Honestly, baby?" Steve squeezes your leg. "I was miserable, then. You don't wanna see any photographs. I was never smiling."

"What?" 

"I hated my life. All my mom cared about was making us look like a perfect family, and all my dad cared about was work. I was happier when they started taking months-long business trips to Missouri."

"What do you mean?" you ask, putting your hand against his face. It's smaller than his but still big, still encompassing as you stroke his cheek and scratchy stubble. "You… what?"

He tells you because he knows you love him. It makes a hard thing easier, being loved. "Nothing, just, things were bad. My parents didn't even really like me, you know? They bounced me between little league and swim team and basketball when I was old enough. Track, cross country running, everything. Killer sun tan every summer." 

Any trace of a smile is gone from your face. "They didn't like you? What are you talking about?" 

"I was an annoying kid," he says. "You know how I was when we first met? Imagine that and worse." 

"There was nothing wrong with you when we first met." Your lip trembles. 

"Baby," he says quickly, on an exhale, the word half love and half apology, "don't be upset. I'm sorry, it wasn't as bad as it sounds. I'm making it sound worse than it was." 

Your eyes turn glassy. It's awful, being so close he can see the tears well, collecting in the corners of your eyes. You stroke his cheek tentatively and ignore them. 

"It was fine, sweetheart, really, I had everything. They'd leave me a fucking credit card when they went away, I never had to ask for anything. They gave me a car for my fifteenth birthday… I think they thought it was my sweet sixteen." 

Your face crumples like a wet paper towel. You try to fight it but you're a heavy crier and you always have been. It shocked Steve when you first met, how quickly you can fall into tears, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're extremely upset. He can maybe fix it before you give yourself a headache if he tries. 

"I'm sorry," he says again, dotting a kiss on the meat of your thumb. "I didn't tell you so you'd feel sorry for me." 

"I do feel sorry. I feel so sorry," you say quietly. 

"Don't cry…" Steve shifts into a better sitting position as the first tear trips over your waterline. Your hand falls to his collar. Your fingertips rub his collarbone. "I was lucky, I had everything I needed." 

"You just told me your parents didn't like you, Stevie, I wouldn't call you lucky. That they went away for months– How old were you?" 

He winces. "Fifteen?" 

"You were still a kid." 

"I was old before my time." 

"No, you weren't." You sniffle. "I didn't know about that, Stevie. I didn't know about any of this, I'm so sorry."

"Why are you sorry? I never told you." 

You bring both hands up now, placed gently against his chest, talking to him with a tenderness that makes his body ache, "If you think that it didn't matter, I'm really sorry. Imagining you that young, sitting there thinking they didn't like you? That breaks my heart." You're not overly dramatic despite the tears, but you say it with conviction. "You're not supposed to feel that way." 

Steve laughs quietly. "I know that, dummy. Why're you this upset about this? It was years ago." 

"Because it happened to you," you say, pouting at him sympathetically. "I don't know. I guess I figure how heavy that must be carrying around this whole time, thinking they didn't like you and that it was your fault." 

Steve tries to say something, his mouth dry as sand, but he supposes he had said that, in a way. It is what he thought, what he thinks. If he were better, if he were more interesting, more attractive, more talented, they'd stick around. He pushed himself in every sport they'd let him play hoping he'd see his dad standing in the bleachers one day. 

"You're not annoying," you say, wiping your tears. You square your expression into a steadier set. "You're amazing. If they couldn't see it then and if they refuse to see it now, that isn't something you did, Stevie. Maybe they gave you a car and an Amex card, but what you deserved most was–" Your determination to calm down wanes as your voice turns airy and scratchy, like you're trying not to sob. "You deserved to feel cared about. 'N' I'm sorry you didn't, because I love you more than anything."

Steve pulls you in for a hug. Mostly because you need one, but it doesn't hurt to hide his face from you know. His eyes burn, his heart pounding in his throat and between his ears as his arms climb up the length of your back. He focuses on that, the feeling of his hands and his bare forearms against your soft shirt. His chin goes over your shoulder and he presses the side of his head to yours with more force than he intends. 

"Don't wind yourself up over it," he murmurs. "I know it sucks, I promise I get it, and I love that you're sorry, I love you, but it's not worth crying over. They're not worth it." 

You tuck your arms behind his shoulder. Steve indulges in your smell, the warmth of your closeness. Talking about his parents is like poking at a purple scar. It's healed for the most part, but it's far from invisible. He usually ignores it all. 

"Is it weird that I'm kind of vindicated by your, uh, reaction?" he asks under his breath, as though someone might hear him and call him out for it. "I don't want you to cry, but…" 

"I'm in your corner." You pull him impossibly closer. "I'll always be upset for you. Even if you don't think it matters anymore, that's the kind of stuff that stays with you, you know?" You kiss his hair. Twice. A third time. "Sorry, I know I always make stuff about me, crying 'n' all." 

"That's not true," he murmurs, rubbing your back. 

He hates that you're crying, but he's glad, too. Glad all that pain isn't made up. Your reaction is proof he didn't just imagine how much it hurt to always want something he couldn't quite grasp. 

"You didn't deserve that," you say. 

"I know." 

"I love you." 

He knows that too. "I love you. You gotta stop crying, okay? You need your tears for the end of the movie when he crashes his car. How are you gonna bawl your eyes out for Sinatra if you've wasted them all on me?" 

You laugh wetly. "I think I've made a wet patch in your hair." 

Steve relaxes, reassured at the sound of your laugh, precious as spun silver even doused in waterworks. "That's cool. I needed a shower anyway."

After Percy fight with Loki, Shiva and his wives immediately take Percy back to their palace in Svarga and shower her with tons of affection. They also have lets just say plenty of sex with her, partly to make up for Percy not being around and to deal with the jealousy stirred by Loki’s actions. They also want to apologize to Percy in their own way for voting to destroy humanity. They try to show her how much they care and how deeply they regret their actions.

Unfortunately, one day, after they go out to hunt and kill Loki, Hera sneaks into the palace and uses her powers to erase Percy’s memories. She then takes him back to their home universe so she can complete the prophecy. What she forgets to account for, however, is that Percy is unknowingly pregnant and there are four extremely protective yanderes who love her that will literally destroy the world to get her back.

When Shiva and his wives return after failing to find and kill Loki, they immediately notice Percy is missing. They try using their divine senses to find her, but when they can’t, they begin to panic. They search everywhere across all the realms, but there’s no trace of her. Meanwhile, Poseidon, who has a platonic yandere love for Percy, also quickly notices his daughter is missing and begins to search for her. When he can’t find her, he blames Shiva, whom he’s always disliked, and he hates that his daughter is married to him. The two gods come to blows, and the battle between them threatens to destroy the world.

Thankfully, before the world is destroyed in the clash between the two supreme gods, Zeus, Hades, Rhea, and Shiva’s wives, along with their friends Indra and Rudra, manage to separate them. They remind both gods that they need to find Percy first.

Luckily for everyone, Platonic Yandere Beelzebub steps in. He admits that he placed a fly on Percy to keep an eye on her, and through that fly, he knows Percy is in another universe. Also using the fly like a camera, they can see Percy’s adventures in the Hoo and witness her bond with Anthonius. This drives Shiva and his wives absolutely crazy with jealousy. They all have one thought: Get Percy back, restore her memories, and kill Anthonius. However, they differ in how they think he should die. Shiva and Durga want to kill him slowly and painfully, while Kali and Parvati want him dead quickly so they can get Percy back faster.

The moment Shiva and his wives enter the Percy Jackson universe, its gonna take all of Percy’s uwu aura to prevent them from killing Anthonius and ruining the world.

About FS: Moon here is the emotions of your FS and how they deal with it. In Taurus, it means she is someone collected and pretty chill most of the times. hello anon! I did in fact stop making the list roman comic quite a while ago- while I did have a TON of fondness for the project and I still love all the work I put in I don’t think I will ever make those last few comic updates. (I actually had the next two-ish updates sketches out but I never finished the lineart)

But I will HAPPILY tell you the ending for the au!!! I really enjoyed the story I wrote and I’m happy to share the bit I had yet to turn into a comic! (And I’ll add this ask to the master post so this will count as the “official” ending)

So where we last left off Virgil decided that in order to sort things out he had to utilize Romans presumed affection to get close enough to figure out what’s wrong with him.

So Virgil’s goes to Roman’s room and inconspicuously asks if he wants to watch a movie together, Roman of course says yes and the plan is set into motion. While the two watch a movie in the living room he sends Janus and Remus to go investigate his room. Janus and Remus snoop around and end up finishing the bottles or ominous black liquid in his vanity and find a pile of mirror shards and an empty frame in his closet. But! Oh no! The two are caught in the act by the enthralled Patton and Logan!! And since things are getting desperate on lust!romans end the two have taser approval to give the two a little kiss and turn them into yet more servants to do Romans bidding. During the movie it is clear to Virgil that Roman is definitely unwell. He can’t seem to focus on the movie at all and despite the cuddled up position he is extremely tense. About halfway through the movie Roman even ends up falling asleep. So Virgil ends up tucking Roman under some blankets in the living room, and to make him a bit more comfortable he goes to remove those sunglasses. But the moment he touches the glasses Roman jolts awake with a little yelp that clearly implies he was pained somehow.

From here Virgil gets cornered by the newly “reformed “ Janus and Remus to discuss what they found. They don’t do anything to push him, but do emphasize that they are Running out of time.

Virgil now knows that something MUST be up with those sunglasses. So he devises a plan to ensure he has a chance to get them off of Roman once and for all. So he invites Roman to a candle lit dinner in the kitchen. The room is all done up and fancy, a beautiful meal has been made- and they setting and style of everything makes it clear that this trap is being staged as date. The two engage in a bit of tense conversation before Virgil starts laying it on thick- talking at length about how much Roman makes him feel and how much he wishes he could say. Lust!Roman obviously presses Virgil to elaborate- explain what he’s trying to say. Virgil simply responds that it’s too hard to put into words- but he’d love to show him what he means. Then BAM Virgil pulls Roman in for a passionate kiss. For a moment the two get lost in the emotion and comfort of being in each others arms before Virgil reaches down, cups the side of Romans face and rips the glasses off of his face- and to his horror finds that the glasses have somehow burrowed their way into Romans skull, and horrible fleshy tendrils hang limply from the ends of the frames. Roman looks up at him with a final look of heartbreak and betrayal, before collapsing to the floor- unconscious. We cut to black and we re focus on a dream sequence inside of Roman’s head- there Lust!Roman says a final goodbye, apologizes and explains that all he ever wanted was for them to not be alone- to be loved. But in the end they failed didn’t they? Roman responds and says that he understands that he was only trying to help, but even if they aren’t romantically loved they are loved. Roman explains that even if no one else ever has romantic feelings for them, he can still love and cherish themself. The two hug and Lust!Romans last line through tears is “I’m sorry about everything, now don’t keep your night waiting okay?” And Roman wakes up in a cold sweat in his bed.

He finds that Virgil is asleep at the foot of his bed, and startles awake when he notices Roman move. Virgil is EXTREMELY relieved and pulls Roman into a big before finally confessing that he does love Roman, more than anything. Roman reciprocates and as we fade out from the other room the other characters yell over about how they are all happy Roman is finally up(with a little gag of Logan muttering to himself “is that a hickey on my neck?” Followed by fluster laughter form everyone else.

And that’s how I would have wrapped things up!

I've always been really fond of the idea that you first come into this world, assume it's pretty straightforward "oh! Cats in the woods! Simple enough!" And then slowly the lore reveals itself to be like "ARCHIMEDES' CAT SUCCESSFULLY INVENTED LAZER BEAMS ERGO THE ROMANS NEVER STARTED A CONQUEST OF NORTHERN EUROPE"

Im just incredibly fond of lore that looks basic when you're first introduced to it, slowly drops wilder and wilder shit, and refuses to ever engage with it lmaooo

I would start tossing in OCs. I like the limitation I work with right now, it's a fun challenge, but I would be padding out allegiances significantly

Populations would get bigger, with more emphasis on Family rather than Individual. I would begin to give major bloodlines their own insignias.

Identifying with these insignias would be something cats grapple with. Everyone in Tigerstar's family, for example, would consider if they want to jump into their mate's families and modify their insignias or wear them with pride

A lot more would go into "aesthetic" production. Flax, leather, the fashion styles between the different Clans.

I'd mess around with more altars and hidden places where various cats go to worship.

For example I would LOVE to have a "dark library" which contains a lot of Ripplestar's strategies and battle plans, buried in the bog, that Runningnose uncovers through his channeling and Brokenstar goes to learn from

More magic stuff in general, a lot of it going back to Hollyleaf's Century. More types of curses and monsters, some of them just kinda showing up at times.

The ecology of Albion would be a bit wilder. Feral cattle, wild dogs, and horses, nothing too drastic.

Researchers would remain I love those guys. Might make some special "field guides" which are humorous journal entries and such. Occasionally they drop hints at the iceberg lore like, "this reminds me of the Great Egg Scramble of '24."

They'd mention some of the magic stuff and explain that humans have had a hard time researching it scientifically. Like Quantum Physics it doesn't like to work the same way when you observe it directly.

One of their specialists has a PHD in Alchemy or something like that

A completely unnecessary analysis of the flowers surrounding Bag End: sunflowers, snapdragons, and asters.

I got this idea after reading a ton of adorable Sam and Frodo fanfic involving the language of flowers and getting a little obsessed with floriculture. I went on a hunt to find any flowers that were actually mentioned in the books and found this very small passage in chapter 1 of Fotr, describing the flowers surrounding the outside walls and windows of Bilbo and Frodo’s home. so I took the different meanings and symbolisms of the three flowers mentioned, and found fun ways to relate them to either the story or the characters. Please enjoy this unhinged interpretation that absolutely nobody asked for!!

Starting off with the sunflower! These mean, undying loyalty and adoration. This symbolism originates from the Greek myth of the nymph Clytie, and her unrequited love for the sun god Apollo. When she realized her feelings would never be reciprocated she spent several days not eating or drinking, following the path of Apollo’s sun chariot across the sky, until she eventually turned herself into a sunflower, perpetually facing the direction of the sun and waiting patiently for Apollo to return to her. Alternatively sunflowers can also mean everlasting, specifically everlasting friendship, and obviously joy and happiness. Their symbolism at Bag End is particularly precious with the theory that Sam planted these flowers. I love the idea of him using these to declare his undying devotion to Frodo even if Frodo doesn’t notice it! It’s giving you want me and you just don’t know it yet. But if that’s not your cup of tea, then these could also symbolize devotion to the Baggins’s, Sam’s lasting friendship for both Bilbo and Frodo, or just good vibes. 💖

Next are snapdragons, which I think have the coolest symbolism! They can mean two things, either grace or deception, but the exact meanings are very specific. Snaps can thrive under really harsh conditions, they can grow in cramped rocky areas and survive in subfreezing temperatures, so they specifically symbolize grace under pressure or in difficult situations. And while they do mean deception in the language of flowers, they’re mostly used as an apology flower for deceptive behavior, or used as protections against it. During the medieval period which is roughly the timeline Lotr was set in, these flowers were seen as guardians against evil forces and were typically planted by gates and around wealthy residences like Bag End. I freaking love the idea of these flowers being symbolic of the bravery and perseverance of the Baggins’s, but it might be more likely that either Bilbo or one of the Gamgees knew about their protective qualities and either the gardeners planted them out of reverence, or Bilbo sweetly chose these for Frodo’s protection.

And lastly Asters! These were my personal favorite to research and play around with because they mean so many different things and literally have the perfect backstory. Asters got their name from the Greek word Astrea, which was also the name of the Greek goddess of innocence and justice who created them in myth. The most popular version of this myth is that Astrea was so distraught over the lack of stars in the sky, when her tears fell to earth they created the star shaped aster flowers. Shortly afterwards, she herself fled into the sky and became the constellation of Virgo. Virgo is, of course, Bilbo and Frodo’s star signs, and the Astor is an official September flower. These flowers symbolize faith and valor, but in the language of flowers they symbolize innocent love and undying affection. I am choosing to believe these were planted by Sam on purpose, purely because of their meaning, but there’s one more piece of backstory that literally connects these flowers straight back to him. Asters were also an emblem of Venus, the Roman goddess of love, and her planet is the ruling planet of taurus, which just so happens to be Sam’s star sign! *loses shit*

ok so I saw an angst concept a while back about how if Roman goes too long without positive attention, he starves and gets thin because compliments feed the ego and that's Roman.

but now I'm in a different mood and I'm like "what if Thomas puts out an absolutely brilliant video that goes viral and gets a ton of positive attention?" maybe Roman would get fat and just GLOW with how big and pretty and happy he is, and his partner(s) would give him lots of attention and praise about how big and healthy and happy he looks

I wonder if any of the bat kids are legacies or half bloods? Like, they'd be ripe for urgent adoption and training, given the inherent risk of monsters! Not to mention the specially bred deep rooted battle/hero instincts. Would only some be half bloods? Any? How would that affect the dynamics, to have some (or just B) be aware of and able to interact with this whole secret world complete with monsters hidden in plain sight?? There's got to be tons of secret pjo resource stashes like different metals, foods, weapons, armour hidden everywhere hehe.

Ooh, would a bat kid ever have accidentally eaten ambrosia/nectar (or gotten close) without knowing what it is? Is Alfred a legacy?? A satyr?!! That'd be so so cool. (and it'd be an explanation for how long lived he is lmao)

There are definitely stashes of demigod resources! most of the stock is in the Batcave, but they definitely have stashes in all the safehouses. They're basically like any other resource- medical supplies, celestial bronze dagger, batarangs, smoke pellets, ambrosia, etc. Considering that celestial bronze and nectar/ambrosia are pretty rare, i doubt they're using them daily, but everyone definitely has emergency demigod equipment on them. I'm also making Gotham a Land Beyond Gods, a la Alaska in SoN, so there's less of a monster problem than other cities. Gotham kinda like the trash dump of the demigod world- all the weird fucked up stuff ends up there for our intrepid heroes to get chased by.

Most of the Batkids are aware of who they are, eventually! Bruce, Cass, and Damian always know, Dick and Jason figure it out pretty quickly after living with Bruce, Tim figures it out himself before becoming Robin, and Steph only figures it out after she "dies" (poor guy). Bruce isn't very good with the Mist, and monsters aren't like, a huge problem in Gotham, so it's not really a big deal to them if they are/aren't demigods. Babs kept up just fine as a mortal, after all. Like i said earlier, ambrosia/nectar are in short supply in Gotham (bruce doesn't really have a consistent way of getting more besides through diana, who also doesnt really have a consistent way of getting more), so nobody's eating any by accident.

I have literally no idea what's going on with Alfred. I joked a while back that he's a minor god, which I'm not opposed to, I'd just have to work that one out a bit more. The satyr idea is fun and works really well, except imagining Alfred with goat legs and eating aluminum cans freaks me out and I don't know what to do about that. He could also just be a mortal blessed by [insert god here] to have a longer lifespan, or someone who made a deal with [insert god here] to be alive as long as Bruce/the Wayne family needs him. It'll be interesting to figure out, whenever I end up doing that!

Bruce and Co. are NOT aware of the other pantheons! As in, they are so unaware of the other pantheons that nobody can figure out who the fuck Tim's godly parent is. Bellona is on nobody's radar, everyone is split between Ares/Dionysus/Athena/????. They also haven't figured out he's a Zeus legacy, because his ancestor fled to Gotham during WW2 and then did their best to hide their heritage for their and their kids' safety. Poor guy doesn't know what the fuck is going on, basically. Bruce is actually pretty cut off from CHB, so he's not super up-to-date about the demigod world. He tends to focus more on the superhero side of things. His kids have varying levels of interest/affiliation with the demigods, but they're definitely not on the "first to know" end of news whenever things happen. It takes a hot minute for anyone to figure out the Romans exist, and considering that Percy and Annabeth try pretty hard to conceal the Egyptian and presumably Norse pantheons, we can assume the Batfam isn't aware of those guys for quite a bit after the Greeks learn about them.

A refined smell from a refined man

This guy smells the least like a vampire

Like, the Mukami’s in general smell a tad more human than vampire, but Ruki smells the most human out of the 4 of them

And humans would never think he was a vampire based off smell alone anyway

Now in case you didn’t know, Ruki’s favorite food is soup

Why is that important?

Well it’s cuz ya boi smells vaguely of garlic, herbs and spices

Most people will believe he’s an Italian man before the idea of him being a vampire is on the table 😂

Tbh it works out in his favor and for this reason, he’s the most human passing out of all the boys

However he does give old man vibes

Why?

Cuz he smells like he works in a library that was built during ancient Roman times

He smells so concerningly of old books that I don’t blame anyone that assumes his skin is actually made of paper

He also smells like he bleeds tea

To be fair…he probably does

Caffeine doesn’t affect vampires in the same way it does humans so you bet your bottom dollar he’s drinking tea every chance he gets

You have no idea how happy he is that tea and coffee don’t give him heartburn or acid reflux anymore (╯ ‿ ╰,)

But he does go overboard with his drinking sometimes…Kou and Yuma had to hide some of his tea so he’s chill out a bit

That day, they learned that vampires can in fact go through nasty withdrawal symptoms…

Thankfully he was able to take his mind off of that with his hobbies!

He has a few but the ones he tends to do a lot , outside of reading, is calligraphy and drawing

He specifically loves using charcoal as his drawing material!

His dad used to take him out for walks and they’d draw some scenery together

His mother was the one to teach him calligraphy

Doing either of these two crafts helps him feel close to his parents again

So he’s grown to love the smell of the ink and charcoal on paper

Sometimes he gets so into his work that his nails and fingers turn black by the time he stops

His brothers can tease him all they want, but he doesn’t mind it at all

He used to get much dirtier as a child when he worked on his crafts

So having the ink and charcoal permeate his skin in both appearance and smell gives him a sense of pride

He thinks his parents would be proud of him too

First of, he naturally smells like lilies

Those flowers naturally smell sweet but super subtle

He also isn’t allowed to eat lots of desserts sometimes so he found a loophole and eats a metric fuck ton of berries when his sweet tooth is acting up

He’s not picky about the kind of berries he munches on, he just wants them to be sweet enough to satisfy him

So he smells very much like the cast of the Strawberry Shortcake franchise

And to top it all off, ya boi has pretty good taste in perfume

His favorite perfume is Gucci A Chant for The Nymph Eau de Parfum

It’s a very sweet, clean smelling fragrance that he makes absolutely sure to buy every 6 months

So based off all that you’d assume he always smells nice right???

Well…not exactly

First off, he is a vampire now and he does drink blood sometimes

But he doesn’t even smell like blood because of his vampiric nature

He just claims that’s why he sometimes smells like blood because the real reason is kinda embarrassing

So he’s an idol right? Part of his job is to sign stacks and stacks of autographs

He’s gotten so many paper cuts that he just starts wearing gloves

He has very delicate skin for a vampire, not as delicate as someone else on this list but we’ll get to him

He also smells like cats

He just really likes them so sometimes he just goes to cat cafes and plays with them

He also brings in strays and takes care of them

He won’t force them to stay if they don’t want to but 9 time outta 10 they stay so he just kinda smells like his feline friends

This dude also smells of his favorite food, Vongole Bianco

If left unsupervised, he will eat 5 plates of the stuff and he will smell of the pasta dish for weeks

Not in a bad way, he’ll just smell like he recently has dinner XD

Why and why’s it so rare?

Well for one, he’s just a big fan of McDonald’s French fries as well as their sprite so he will get it every chance he gets

Now as for why he rarely has it, it’s because of his manager and Ruki

As an idol he’s expected to maintain a certain weight and figure so he’s been told not to eat fast food

When his manager catches him he’ll just scold him and give him a slap on the wrist

But if Ruki catches him…it’s on sight

If Ruki even catches a whiff of fries on Kou, he’s running at him at full speed with what we blunt object happens to be close by

Unfortunately for the other 3 brothers, Ruki is a bit of a health nut and bans fast food from the house

Kou suffers the most and Azusa is the only one who helps him sneak contraband into the house

Yuma is true neutral on this tbh

He has a garden so he doesn’t care 🤣

Kou and Azusa will share fries every weekend at the mall followed up by a trip to the spa to get rid of the smell

Man is a farmer to his very core!

Doesn��t matter if he’s human or vampire, he’s gonna be up at 4 in the morning tending to every single one of his crops

And he smells of the fruits and veggies he tends and harvests

This giant bear of a man is the poster child of a rugged country boy 🤠

He also smells pretty sweet!

He eats sugar cubes so often that everyone’s amazed he hasn’t gotten diabetes yet

He also smells of fennel and neem oil

Those are really good, natural bug repellents

He’ll eat the fennel to keep the mosquitoes off him

He doesn’t need to cuz mosquitoes tend to avoid vampires but he did this a lot when he was human and old habits die hard

He sprays neem oil on and around his crops to keep pests away

All of these smells permeate into his being and set the gold standard of what your big, strong country boy should smell like

There is one thing that kinda weirds humans out though

He smells a tad like blood

It’s no where near as bad as the Sakamakis or the Taukinamis

But it’s juuuuust strong enough that sometimes his classmates will stop and ask him if he’s feeling ok

Thankfully his country boy aesthetic can save him from suspicion

Sometimes he’ll show them a cut he got from when he tried to clean the shattered remains of a pot and they’ll immediately drop the issue

Of course the dude who tends crops is gonna smell like blood! Hard physical work makes you bleed sometimes!

But 9 times outta 10 he smells like blood because he gave himself a few fresh cuts

And it’s usually a concerningly large amount of blood

He has the most delicate skin out of all his brothers

I’m also convinced he might have been anemic when he was human and maybe even still is

So combine all that and Azusa is basically a gusher

Thankfully he always has bandages on him

Unfortunately he doesn’t do much to cover up the bloody smell…

He does like spicy food so he tends to eat quite a bit of curry

So he does smell like curry powder sometimes

He also smells like his favorite food, Shichimi Togarashi

It’s basically like a seaweed mix

But it’s not enough to change very the weird bloody hospital smell he permanently has on him

Ruki does use the “He has anemia” card to make people less suspicious…but then Azusa gives Ruki a heart attack

Hell ask people if they wanna cut him

That’s not exactly normal human behavior so his brothers will step in and prevent him from doing anything to blow their cover

He also just naturally smells like leather

It’s very subtle but it’s nice!

As stated in Kou’s second, he also smells of French fries

He really likes McDonald’s fries…when they’re cold…

It weirds Kou out but he’s getting fries with his lil bro so he does his best to ignore it

I am coming to the Roman Sionis expert and fellow Harvey Dent enthusiast to pose these thoughts:

I think Roman Sionis has no opinion as to whether he prefers his partner in a dress or a suit, but I think Two-Face has a slight bias towards suits. Lemme elaborate.

With Roman, dresses are nice. They’re classy and you can pair them with suits very, very easily. It’s the classic pairing for couples, there’s tons of resources for that, and there’s a lot of fun directions you could take it, like you could match your dress color to the color of his shirt, pocket square, tie, etc. There’s a million different styles and cuts of dress, there’s variety here that suits don’t quite have. (And if the dress has a thigh slit, that just gives him easy access to his partner’s thigh, hip, uh- really anywhere on the lower body, and that is a plus he’s going to make a lot of use of.)

On the other hand, suits are also very nice. It’s something he probably knows a smidge more about fashion wise, and you can easily match suits to each other. Same shirt color, shirt colors that go well together, same with suit colors… it’s just easy. He’s got a good tailor too, so he can he can just have you go to that tailor and KNOW they’re going to do good work on his partner’s suits and that they’re going to look stunning. Obviously he wouldn’t except any less when it came to them getting a dress fitted, but he has personal experience with the person who fits his suits. (I think he’d also be very into pulling his partner in and around by the tie. He wants to make out? Pull them in by the tie. Oh they’re trying to get up off his lap for a second? Pull them back in by the tie. Trying to sneak off to a closet or side room somewhere for a little bit because wherever they are got a little boring? Pull them there by the tie.)

Harvey on the other hand I think is slightly biased towards suits. They love dresses on their partner, don’t get them wrong, it makes their partner look pretty or cute or whatever look the dress is going for. But I think, at their softest, they’re the type to want to do the little things to help with their partner’s appearance. This could be either pausing before they go out so they can fix a partner’s crooked tie, or grumbling and fixing the buttons on their shirt sleeve cuffs because they “did it wrong”, all depends on the day and whether you’re getting more Harvey or Two-Face. They don’t even do it for their image, even though their partner looking nice does help that, they just do it because it’s a small act of affection they enjoy. And yes, I think they fall in love just a little harder if their partner does it back to them. (I also think that if you tried to wear one of their shirts to an event, you’d be at least ten minutes late because that would unlock something positively feral on them. Scratch that - at least twenty minutes, they’ll blame it on the two thing but everyone know’s that’s not really why).

Yeah. I think, given the opportunity, Roman likes to dress his partners, but ultimately, he has little preference one way or the other, so long as you look good and feel confident in it. The one thing he has little tolerance for is sloppiness. He’s not a fan of casual wear; even your lounge wear has to look put together.

And I do think Harvey would have a penchant for suits, especially if you’re mixing and matching with them, I can see the appeal. But, I personally have always pictured Harvey with a preference for traditionalism when it comes to fashion. That sort of old money style.

Don’t get me twisted, their partner doesn’t have to be a trad-spouse or anything, in fact, he’s drawn to strong people, mentally and physically, but I think they enjoys seeing his partners dolled up a bit. They like gifting their s/o’s with jewellery, diamonds and pearls that stand out. They like watching you do your hair and make-up, love getting the first whiff of you post-perfume before they help you roll up your stockings and zip up your dress.

what are 3 things you’d say shaped you into who you are?

#1 My parents: They really affected how I view myself and other people's behavior, and lead to a ton of trust issues.  I have my mother's unhealthy coping habits, a general distrust people, and I can get overly attatched to people that I feel genuinely care.

#2 My Nan: she's been a huge support and comfort since my parents kicked me out.  She's helped me start healing, come out of my protective shell, and grow as a person.  When we disagree, she tells me to stand my ground, prove my point, and not just agree to avoid conflict.  She's made me stronger.  I love her to bits.

#3 The Saints:  I'm Roman Catholic.  All my life I've been inundated with the Saints, as rolemodels and friends.  There's literally a saint for everything, to help me see how to grow and that if they could overcome, then why can't I?   I know not everyone understands it, but that's just how it is for me.

Tengen doesn’t have a favorite number, and if he does, it’s always shifting. You could ask him any time, any day, and one day it might be 4, the next? 404,236. He thinks it’s flashy.

Giyuu often saves drowning people. He never thinks much of it, thinks it’s an “act of service and protection”, and he doesn’t like to see sufferers. That plays into it much more than he knows.

Sanemi likes to summon things to fight. There’s been occasions where other gods have walked into his domain to see a wind monster running rampant, and Sanemi beating the everloving hell out of it.

Shinobu literally cringes when people don’t take her medical advice seriously. It’s downright horrible to look at for her, and finds herself ready to lose it when they come back to her shrine saying “My lovely goddess, it has failed me, the knowledge you have bestowed upon my shoulders.”

Rengoku (tengen, muichiro, and giyuu alike), prefer being talked to casually, instead of fancy words. It seems more welcoming, and a simple “good morning! How are you?” Is always better than a “how have you been faring on this fine date, my lord?”

Mitsuri has tried to play matchmaker with some other gods between themselves, and has also tried to get some of the shrine keepers together, it doesn’t end like she planned-

Gyomei puts divine blessings on stray cats to keep them out of harm’s way, it honestly works really well. Tanjiro watched a boulder fall only 1/8 an inch from a cat, leaving it shocked but unharmed.

When it comes to Obanai, when people (or gods *cough*Giyuu*cough*) Piss him off, he uses a trademark insult: “If you sssay one more thing, I will kill you with my snakes and watch you die.” It’s super effective!

Muichiro forgets a ton of things, but in his domain there’s a special mist that makes you forget things slowly, until you leave. It confuses everyone when they forget what the mist does, though they know they’ve been there before.

Tanjiro has a scar over his right eye, though it doesn’t affect him at all. “Just like a decorative object.” He says. Apparently he got it from an accident as a kid.

Nezuko likes to be in the flower garden of the shrines, and will pick flowers for the shrines, to put down.
