Firstly, "delusion" is not a bad word. a delusion isn't "somethign stupid someone believes in, what the fuck is wromg with them", it's a (symptom of) a serious mental illness, often seen in schizophrenia and psychosis. it's an unshakable belief that contradicts Reality (= in this post, Reality with a capital R refers to the reality that is generally shared by all people and can be seen and experinced by everyone - aside from those who may have delusions). "touching grass" won't do anything to help that, it is reality for them and absolutely nothing and nobody can change that. at worst, telling them they're wrong and should just "touch grass" will make them suffer even more.

so, yes, you could say that all p-shifters experince delusions, because nobody but them can see their transformations. at least, there hasn't been any proof at all until today and their beliefs absolutely clash with science and Reality. but here's the thing: there is a condition called clinical lycanthropy or clinical zoanthropy, which describes exactly the experience of believing you can, have turned or will turn into an animal. there are quite a few of them here on tumblr, having their own community which also often kinda overlaps with alterhuman spaces. those people are not p-shifters! p-shifter is not a medical term or anything, instead it is a term that has evolved here on the internet and has a history of cult-like behaviour, lots of manipulation, malicious people, etc. the "original" p-shifters also oftentimes had a lot of ableistic opinions, openly shitting on clinical zoanthropes, using delusional as an insult, etc. the term p-shifter was never ever meant to describe the experience of clinical zoanthropy. it was invented to create the feeling of belonging to an elite group, to put yourself over others. it's even questionable if the majority of p-shifters actually believes they could transform or if they just wanted power over others, promising them to teach them how to turn, knowing all to well it can't work.

nowadays, some clinical zoanthropes try to "reclaim" the term p-shifter - which is a problem, because you can't just take a term that was NEVER meant to describe your experinces and also never used as a slur against you. a different example in alterhuman context would e the word kinnie - originally made by trolls and to shit on otherkin, it always directly addressed otherkin, even if in a deregatory way. it was meant to be used for otherkin. p-shifter was never meant to be used for delusional people. p-shifter will always have its ties to manipulation and cults, it will always be a harmful term.

TOPIC 1 : CHAMPAGNE MAMI

Megan must have been pregnant during the VMAs and the Met Gala. The mention of 'future baby daddy' on VMAS, their unusual 'maternity' pose together while she was wearing the nude dress and the song 10 weeks one day would include mid september as part of pregnancy term.

These are some options I thought about on why A PREGNANT WOMAN would mention champagne and at least (let's give her the benefit of the doubt) pose holding spirit it in a vid:

1) The woman was never actually pregnant to begin with 2) the woman planned to abort anyways so she drank it, twice? 3) The woman was carrying a baby but really didn't care that much: some experts allow up to a glass, not the first months tho, later on during the pregnancy, on special events. Some women go on with their bad habits because they just don't care enough for their future baby to take a break from their lifestyle. 4) Megan actually never drank but made sure to mention alcohol twice in order to deny any rumors that could have possibly came out because a) the pregnancy was at risk, b) it was too early to have people know about it c) she was yet to make up her mind about it and wanted to keep her options open.

In megan's case, she already have three kids, an auto-immune disease that would make a pregnancy very difficult to live, a has-been career she needs to revive and a body she invested thousands and thousands of dollars in, allegedly.

Soo I was thinking about making a small tutorial for F2P players for love and deep space. It's definitely a grindy game, even more than genshin especially the version prior to the recent 2.0 update (version 1.0 and after)

Like I deleted the game before because of two reasons:

1) Not enough storage, I played it on my phone so it's very laggy too

2) It's not F2P friendly and I remember the limited banners only lasted less than a week.

3) The micro transaction was crazy as well. So like I don't have enough time to save a lot of gems for even a 15 pull. And I didn't know a lot of stuff that you can do in game 💀 (aka clueless af)

It's like you HAVE to spend money on this game if you have a FOMO 😭. So I just don't gaf anymore (low-key petty, but that's just me)

Now I downloaded it back on my tablet and I can see some improvement. Such as:

Now it's easier to grind for materials, they included a skip button which consumes 8 or 80 stamina depending on what you choose

Giving out (back to back) free 5* memories - Now is the Sylus Memory (Immobilized card) which you can obtain by completing the event that's ongoing right now and the upcoming Rafayel memory card.

Even so, there is still one problem that I wish the devs would take into consideration and hopefully fix/improve them; The gacha system. This is also one of the main reasons a lot of people spend tons of money or have to break their F2P streak. Like bro.. it's so much worse than genshin, mostly the pity. Cause wdym more than 5 people I saw reached 90 pity but still didn't get the memory 💀 not even one 5 star. I mean yeah, there are people who are lucky but most I've seen is that they had 1K ish gems reduced to dust but didn't get the card they wanted. I hope they do so as the game progresses.

Oh the moment I tried to block the Miguel tag (which DIDNT WORK, btw), the Miles G reader stuff showed up and I had instant regret 😭 but I haven't seen much for him outside of that. I'm glad I haven't, now.

Tbh, I wasn't really into Fandom when ITSV came out, so I (gratefully) missed all of the bullshit I heard happen with that one.

What's really pissed me off about Miles' seeming depiction by fandom, at least in the sections I've seen, is...idk if I'm saying this right.... To over simplify him? Like it frustrates me that a movie, both movies, the existence of Miles Morales himself, ALL have to do with themes of race, representation, and belonging. Yes there are plenty of other messages that are important, but all of them connect back to that identity too.

And people are just... Glossing over that. In this desire to go "oh he's so precious"- in what I'm sure is white ppls well-intentioned attempt to not be seen as a racist that doesn't care about Black children- they are still managing to completely ignore how his identity is symbolic in the storytelling. It's colorblindness in a movie where seeing race is essential and if you're gonna ignore it you might as well not even watch it at all bc at its core it's HIS story.

Like yeah, you think he's queer allegory, yeah you recognize how it feels to not belong, how to fight the status quo, fantastic, I love it, are you actually engaging with the race aspect that affects his experience of all of those things? Are you processing that when Rio said he might not be accepted in spaces, just maybe you have brown friends who feel that way in white spaces, fan and otherwise (esp now with affirmative action lmao, but always with Miles in the comics and dealing with fans). It's easy to think a multicultural movie with a Brown antagonist, well it "can't have to do with race" and that's just not true.

That's why people fixating on Hobie mildly disturbs me too; he TOO is a BLACK punk. That makes a difference, in his solidarity and what that meant for Black viewers. Or how they're ignoring Margo altogether despite her crucial role in his escape. Or how they're refusing to engage with Jessica Drew with understanding (you don't have to agree with her! I don't! But to understand where she stands in that spectrum from Hobie to Miguel, she is not nearly as bad as fandom wants to believe; she's actually comparable to Peter B but misogynoir prevents that conversation).

Like I am so happy we are finally entering an era where Black and Brown people are seeing themselves more on screen in roles we've yearned for, I am. But that also means it's time for white people to start engaging with what that means, and that means unlearning and learning.

So i dont think im controversial when i say that gwen and Frederick arent in any real danger here? Like! They've talked! There's still are some things that would benefit from being talked further, but the heavy communication lifting is DONE. Those kids are, despite everything, still in a position where it's going to take all of one (1) conversation for them to make up and hopefully make out.

Tho i say that but Gwen is going through some serious emotional damage rn, so those crazy kids might decide to still take a break to rethink their relationship, which i mean. Good! For! Them. I dont have any doubts they'll rekindle even in that case, however.

Well. I say that but actually, i think that they still stand an okay chance. Blaine has NOT been showing the best of himself out here, and im still waiting to know how much of that was just an act before giving my FINAL JUDGMENT, but if there's some good intentions in there, then not everything's lost. Those two have been communicating, after all. Blaine has made a scincere effort to get to know Maria, and he has shared some of his doubt with her as well! That's good that's a good base ! Of course then he betrayed her and attacked her castle, she used his insecurities against him, and we still dont know how on board with The Plan:tm: he actually is, which does put a damper in my optimism.

I would be really disappointed if they just got back together immediately after the final arc. Those two NEED to take a serious break. It would be very good for Maria to consider some other options, and it would be GREAT for Blaine to get some therapy. I think that they need some time away from each other to reconsider. And if after that they wanna try again? Great! I really do think that those two can work together.

Lorena and Lance tho i really cant say the same thing. Of the three, i think that they have the highest chances of breaking up for good. They never really learned anything about each other deeper than surgace level, they have very conflicting life goals, and i think not enough deep affection toward each other to work through it. Plus, Lorena being the "warrior" amongst her sister, and aiming to take over the military, i just dont see her forgiving the man who INVADED HER KINGDOM.

Now, i do think that those two would be amazing besties, and i wish them a long and fructuous friendship. But it would take a LOT of legwork in a VERY short time for me to buy them as a romantic couple.

maybe I’m being overly pessimistic, but I feel like I have to put down these thoughts, and just let them be.

I feel like dcc is making a very clear choice of what kind of people they want to attract and maintain to support dc, from the content they’ve shifted to on their notes, to now this new app where you pay a subscription fee to “chat” (because you don’t even actually chat with them since they apparently see all fans messages like a group chat??) privately with the members... yes capitalism and what not, but there’s a lot of other options dcc could go for (*cough* reprinting albums, hell even investing on an app like superstar sm but for dc only, even if it’s a big investment at first would totally pay itself off and profit given the time), than this type of thing that does nothing but feed even more delusional fans.

also while it’s cool dcc wants to collaborate with smaller companies to also help them grow (even tho a lot of stuff has been shady as fuck but whatever), they kinda need to actually look at what the big companies do right and idk try to copy the things they do right? how is it possible that there’s been no brand deals, or mc spots, or even acting opportunities for some of them? I’m not saying these opportunities are easy to come by, but at this point they’re a six year old group, and it doesn’t feel like any of them have enough experience to have a career outside of it? like what’s going to happen to them when inadvertently they can’t pull comebacks or go on tours as often and tirelessly as they do now? like yeah it’s good to live in the moment but dcc really needs to start working towards their future too.

and honestly since deja vu that dc have been losing their signature horror concept and I get that things can’t stay the same forever or it gets stagnate, but for a group that was so praised during nightmare era for their narrative and world building, it really sucks that we haven’t had that built properly since then. I gave the benefit of the doubt for dystopia era because it was the first since nightmare and it could just be that they needed time to adjust (music wise the concept was pretty solid for scream and boca at least but there really wasn’t much of a narrative on the mvs like nightmare era had), but apocalypse era is being even messier. from where I’m standing it feels like dcc doesn’t really care anymore about giving them interesting concepts because they know the fandom is gonna buy into it regardless. but it sucks that even on simple things like photobooks and season’s greetings, the horror concept that set them apart from other groups just isn’t present anymore. even if they kept the lighter and fun versions, the og fandom at least are still people who appreciate darker concepts so I don’t get why they’ve completely started to dismiss that.

it’s just getting tiring for me. I love their music, and I think I’ll definitely keep coming back to see what they’ve released, but everything else genuinely isn’t fun anymore. and it hasn’t been fun for a while now. I still care a lot about the girls and dc, reason why things being like this bothers me so much, but I also don’t think dcc will change anything in the future and actually do something right so

first and foremost! focalors!! furina! she looks SO FUN. huuuuuge contrast to nahida of the previous arc but i'm into it! i love her irreverent attitude, not *really* taking justice seriously, probably mostly oblivious to the problems of the people... if sumeru writing quality holds that arc is gonna be DELICIOUS. so excited for this contrast! (that was set up LAST YEAR when neuvilette was nahida's drip quote talking about how serious she was comparion to a "certain someone" being prone to hysterics....)! and speaking of neuvilette! i'm pretty sure he's nonhuman, maybe an oceanid, and i REALLY want him to be an ally of the previous hydro archon who's trying to keep furina in check! i think that could be SUPER interesting.

other characters: did not give a single fuck about wriothesley until they gave him a fun potential dynamic with adorable sigewinne and now I Love Him (my weakness is dadguys lol), Did Not expect a third sibling for lyney+lynette but i love all three of them! lynette in particular seems like she'll hit all my buttons character-wise, so i'm super interested to see what she's like and how they're gonna play the fatui/(probably) house of hearth connection. im expecting gendou ringo 2: more exciting and i'm Very delighted about it, i loved that quest!! navia and chlorinde look super interesting as well - i'm REALLY hoping they add gun as a new weapon type that would be SO FUN and the schneznayan cast would super benefit from that in the future..

so far the plot looks super cool too! from what i can tell, there are some super interesting parallels being set up regarding illusion/truth (the magic show/the lie behind it, the spectacle of trial/the lack of justice resulting from it, the pure waters/the pollution corrupting it, the glamorous society/the suffering that lies beneath) and i LOVE Themes and Motifs so IM HYPED FOR THAT! hoping they knock it out of the park with the writing again!! designs all look super solid so far tho im kind of disappointed about some freminet concepts that did not last...

if i had to choose one thing im most excited for tho... there's rumors of a hexenzirkel character in fontaine and i'm a longtime hexenzirkel fan so i REALLY REALLY want that to be true i Love the hexenzirkel and they've been getting more story relevance recently so i think fontaine would be a great place for them to enter the main plot!!

gameplay-wise: obvi we'll have to wait for more info to come out, but looks super promising! super hyped about underwater exploration, the setting design leaks i've seen knock it out of the park as always, i'm sure they'll have some super fun world quests and puzzles for us to scratch our heads over - i've got 0 doubts it'll be fantastic in that design lol. will it top sumeru's rainforest in sheer fun? we'll see but i'm feeling optimistic! my only criticism is that it's right above the newest desert expansion and there's a giant hole in the map which Bothers Me but... historically we can expect 4 map expansions total in 4.x so i'm sure that will be temporary.... (i hope so at least!)

i definitely have more thoughts but this is all the big stuff i could think of... maybe i'll post a full analysis/crumbs i noticed of the teaser, but overall- SUPER excited, i think the story is heading in a good direction, and i'm ready for it to be 4.0 already!!!!

The Riku vs Terra Discussion

Hey y'all. So as you can see, I didn't choose violence today.

I've already spoken about this in my Terra video, but I'll reiterate my talking points here bc it's quicker to consume than a video.

So because Riku and Terra have similar story arcs related to darkness, a lot of us are naturally inclined to compare their stories and their behavior. However, I feel like some folks compare them with the added context of Riku’s redemption arc as ammunition against Terra. It’s comparing the life of someone who’s struggling to someone who has already succeeded, so that wouldn't be fair. So if we’re gonna play the comparison game, it’s only fair to start by isolating Riku’s behavior in KH1 and Terra’s in BBS since that's where these two made their starts.

This isn't me trying to say that one is better than the other. They both come from different lives, have different insecurities, and have different personalities. They are both flawed in their own ways. This is just a compare and contrast type of thing.

Riku was far more problematic at the start of his journey.

He actively antagonized Sora and co., worked with Maleficent (albeit it was to try to find a way to save Kairi, but still), was manipulated by Maleficent, was later possessed by Ansem, and attacked Sora while he was possessed.

Not to mention that he was selfish. He was totally fine with never returning home or seeing their parents again. Zexion calls him out on this in Re:CoM; that he was the reason why Destiny Islands fell to darkness.

I guess to give him the benefit of the doubt, the situation was more dire, as one of his best friend's heart was missing, and he was willing to do anything to help her.

Terra showed a lot more self-awareness and restraint. He was trying to do what Master Eraqus told him to do while simultaneously trying to figure out how to control his darkness. However, the desperation combined with his own insecurities made him vulnerable to being tricked by villains, like Hades.

Sadly tho, I don't think that he exercises discernment with some of the villains; Cap'n Hook in particular. And with Xehanort, he doesn't realize that he's been fooled until it's too late (which isn't his fault, Xehanort was playing 5D chess).

Beyond KH1, Riku had a lot of time to self-reflect and come to terms with his darkness, and he also had a good support system in Mickey. Mickey was someone that was genuinely curious, compassionate, and open-minded with him. He was willing to stand by him and support him no matter what. That’s somebody that Terra needed.

This might be a hot take, but Terra didn't have the best support system to be able to deal with his darkness issue. Eraqus was Eraqus-ing and Aqua assumed the worst about him after seeing the aftermath of his actions. Ven still supported him, but I think the distrust from Eraqus and Aqua had way more of an impact on him.

Honing in on Aqua for a moment, she always arrived in the worlds after Terra. From her perspective, it looked like Terra was doing a lot of fuckshit. He did leave the worlds pretty unresolved, so I understand why she was suspicious of him, especially with Terra’s lack of communication. BUT at the same time, she also didn't ask him what really happened. But anyways.

Terra and Riku were both manipulated and possessed at one point. They also both protected their friends from their possessed bodies; Riku protected Sora from himself in Hollow Bastion and Terra tried to protect Aqua from Terranort in the realm of darkness.

Riku is able to succeed where Terra couldn't. Riku was lucky to have Sora when he was possessed, otherwise he might've ended up being possessed for who knows how long. Like I said, he has a year and some change to grow as a person, whereas Terra has that opportunity taken from him.

Currently, Riku already has gone off to rescue Sora. Terra's story arc from this point forward has been undetermined and I have no idea what they plan to do with his character. In terms of the Wayfinder trio, Aqua will be training Kairi (and maybe they'll explore new worlds together?), and Ven might embark on a new journey based on his forgotten memories of the Age of Fairytales. Maybe Terra will help Aqua in training Kairi. Maybe he'll go on his own healing journey. Or maybe he'll eventually retake the Mark of Mastery exam and become a master.

I don't have a conclusion to this, I just like talking about things. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Huge rant on a book I'm reading. These are impressions, bear in mind I've read no biographies on the authors and never studied russian lit (not yet), so yeah, take all this shit with a pinch of salt and bear with my silly thoughts for a while.

I'm currently reading "The wives — the women behind Russia's literary giants" and man, is it painful.

I know that I cannot expect authors to be saints, with all due respect to their genius and creativity (I love their works and plan to read their books nonetheless), but MAN where they absolute dicks...

Okay, I've only read Anna Dostoevskaja and Sophia Tolstaya's chapters, so it was definitely predictable to expect quite some (to us intolerable) abuse and crap in the 19th century, but it still leaves me utterly speechless.

Dostoevsky was...err, quite a burden to deal with because of his gambling and his jealousy (i mean, he did Anna so much wrong 🥲). She loved him either way (I don't know how tho) and just when I thought she was way too yielding with him, she finally resorted to manage his income and start to publish his books. And that, my friends, is really fucking badass, she did so on her own, with no knowledge whatsoever.

I'm now halfway through with Sophia's chapter and man... MAN.

She too is super badass, she's got such a practical sense too and decided to fucking take the reins, she really said "gotta manage this motherfucker's shit or else we gonna starve, all thirteen of us". So she started publishing Tolstoy's works too, right when he decided to give everything away and criticize every one that had money and the church. Now, honestly, i'm not saying he shouldn't have, some of his ideas may be interesting, but PLEASE he took that to such an extent that he became a fucking prick and made that shit unliveable (like, he criticized the church but then he himself forced his own ideas on others like????? contradictory af).

Anyway.

and then this. Upon reading she bore their thirteenth child I choked on water. And I doubt she ever consented to that, but okay, shall we give it the benefit of doubt? Idk she seems so fed up with children, I wonder if she ever pondered on why the Almighty (or nature) bestowed the fucking power to procreate on her? I think she thought about it.

But going back to the passage: Tolstoy repudiating sexual love? him? really? the one who did the deed and had his wife pregnant for 13 times?

I know I'm viewing things from a modern perspective, but really, was there no thought on all this? I'm complaining because it's sad and it almost sounds made up to fill in a stereotype (but of course it's not like that, this is all true).

I mean

I thought he was a better person but oh well. But I'm still going to read War and Peace and other works, nonetheless. After all, nothing can be done, it's the past, we don't study Tolstoy, or Dante, or Hugo, to mimick their personal lives do we? we study them for their values, culture and creativity.

But let me say that it's still sad to read these stories, maybe because from a great genius you expect an equally great man.

I hope you don’t mind the novel but hey you wanted to share thoughts so here I am!

Rationalize is a big word but me thinks this is happening for various reasons, you tell me what you think about these options:

- Louis has this persona of “not wanting to grow up��� so a younger girlfriend fits what everybody knows about him. She also seems to be tailored to the het audience who wants to “date him” and might identify with her. You know, sort of what El 1.0 was in 2012, the girl next door sort of thing but still “a fashion model” (who does no modeling, lol). But these pap pics feel precisely planned to make her look like a fan, so the message seems to be if she can date him, all fans can too! He’s a normal dude dating a normal girl who looks just like you! Buy tickets to his concerts and you might get lucky (because I can pretty much guess she’s gonna disappear real quickly and he’s going to be *available* and party boy during tour 🥲)

- There’s extra gayness in the documentary so having a son wasn’t enough. Seems unlikely but who knows? Rainbows can’t be erased from his tour shots, so I guess it’ll have to be addressed in some way.

- Also having a new romance in general helps with publicity, so for him to be talked about before the doc release. I still would have picked a higher profile, maybe another musician girl, if you really needed to sell a certain image AND benefit Louis and expand his audience, but again let’s be real I think his PR is incompetent. If I have to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe the fan, down to earth girl angle is what they actually wanted to achieve with picking a good-looking nobody (back to point 1). It’s clearly benefitting her more than him (she went from 5K followers this morning to what, 35K now?)

- last wild though, maybe there was something with Eleanor wearing his clothes and still posting from his house that didn’t sit well with someone? So they needed to make a point? Wild but we’ve seen worse so keeping all options open.

I genuinely don’t know, but a mix options 1 and 3 seem the more rational. What do you think?

Last thought: I really hope she was ready and well informed before agreeing to this, but the whole shitshow with the Pinterest pins and Spotify playlists tells me there was a level of naivety on her end which is alarming. She was probably guided into this by a reckless agent with who knows what promises and it scares me. I don’t mind the age gap (my parents started dating when she was 18 and he was 29), but I do mind the fact that she’s likely too young to handle the hate she’s getting, regardless of the economic gains she’ll get from this it’s going to be traumatic if you don’t have the right support to handle it/maturity.

1. The forever young boy is interesting, bc Louis comes off as the loud hyperactive guy sometimes. Unfortunately I think they burned this option out when they gave him a fake kid lol

2. I think feeding such a dream to his fans is a huge underdevelopment, but it’s loyal to his fanbase origin. Still. It’s so cringe for me that a 31 yo man with a kid goes out with a young girl who pins tiktoks and random tattoos researches on Pinterest. It’s counterproductive, dumb and lazy. I don’t look at them as examples and I don’t expect them to do smart shit. we’re talking about rich people growing up as completely detouched from normal world since they were teenagers. Me and them, you and them? We’re not the same as them. I hoped he was smarter than this tho. Of course this can be useful as promo for the doc… will it tho, we know how his team and the media treat his content and projects, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they wouldn’t get any coverage not even with these pics. I don’t think that’s how you expand a fanbase or get more people curious in his work.

3. I think Eleanor simply wanted to be out for whatever reason. I think they replaced her with a new one bc E wasn’t going to engage with bg. She has never and she won’t (so far). I hope this new girl did her homework because fandom is hard to manage.
