update on my life is that i’m still stuck in class :,)

#ok but #this class is art history #and i genuinely love it so much #it just started this week #it’s a 5 weeks course #and the professor is so lovely #she’s been chatting with me in between #the class is literally 4 hours long :’)#so she gives 20 mins breaks in between #and she’s sooo lovely and chats w everyone #and the students in this class are so nice too #i been talking to a few #well 3 #there’s only 6 ppl in here including me #but omg i love this class so much bc it’s ab like women’s contributions to art #and it studies gender roles too and how women’s rights have been set up historically ofc #and how that affected women’s art #i love it #i wish this class wasn’t 5 weeks i wanna be here forever #anyway #ramble aside #i will be home so late today 😔#but ykw #i like it here so #i can’t rly complain

I had a lot more while I was drawing this but I guess I put them in the painting LOL #reading that soliloquy and being like damn this is just like vampires #the reality of course is that the soliloquy is a debate over suicide and ultimately making the choice to live #even if just out of fear of the unknown #and vampires are about dying and then in undeath choosing to continue to live #despite the fear of eternity and loneliness and hurting others #theyre not the same. but like let me thiiink come onnnn I'm allowed to thiiink and have incomplete thoughts #I would have to write like a proper essay about this to organize my thoughts. this is the tags on a tumblr post.#anyways finished episode 79 #working on patreon stickers for this month (and next month soon)#and working on book 4. taking a pause from episodes cause I've got 3 weeks of buffer now... UGH #I'm so mad that they changed it. it would have been 5 weeks before but it's fine it's whatever #anyways yeah taking a break from episodes to make my book now!#its good stuff.#and this painting is good stuff #banger after banger from me tbh #this was a little relaxing giving myself a couple hours to muse #it's necessary for my health and I always forget that til I do a painting...#I loved doing the little landscape in the background too I should do that more! A tangle of limbs in a nice Italian suit.#I have such fond memories of watching the Lupin III movies with friends.#Actually...It's really touching to be able to draw fanart for the series. A homage to a special memory.#Thank you for giving me this opportunity! Seeing your icon (Goemon) has been a true treat in my notifs this last year.#Yes I was a Lupin fan this whole time! I started with part 5 so I am not a particularly old fan.#(I had a little bonus comic to go with this of the rest of the crew but I ran out of time to polish it up...perhaps another day.)#For everyone else; I highly recommend watching 'A Women Named Fuijko Mine'. Mind the content warnings though.#It is very dark but a really *really* fantastic deconstruction on the femme fatale archetype. Not to mention visually stunning.#Castle of Cagliostro is a good recommendation if you want something more lighthearted.#And with that...raffle week has come to a close! #isat #in stars and time #siffrin #my art #doodles #the brothers doodle was two sifs staring into the void and i just put them together #i realized afterwards it could be sif and loop after the shiny mf materializes again as another siffrin #they do not know how that happened or what that means #fun time for everyone involved #this screenshot is already two weeks old #i started a new playthrough because of course #and it is quite funny #on my first playthrough at 23 hours i had 23 loops in act 3 #on my second one i had 145 loops at 19 hours in act 4 #NOW at the end of act 4 i am going through the house one last time for fun i have 198 loops at 26 hours #the little mf knows that banana peel and dagger better than the back of his hand #my og playthrough ended at 89 loops #and even after i came back to act 4 to get everything i could at that point i got only to 130 loops #what i'm saying is that #my second playthrough siffrin the moment he learnt they're in a timeloop #decided to split his skull open on a rock over 100 times before they even reached act 3 #god he needs help #someone take my siffrin away i am torturing them so much #anyway the reason i looped so much was mainly to talk to loop and get all the chats #also farm exp #getting to lvl 99 actually wasn't that bad #went quite quickly after 85 #also why does mira need so much exp #just so we can suffer #anyway act 5 siffrin at 200 loops let's go

something about max being dressed in lighter colors at the beginning of the game vs her almost being dressed in all black / just straight up dark colors near the end just scratches my brain so good
