bonus little notes:

it was my first time designing an outfit for stolas! given the drawing idea is set in a future where he's perhaps "free" from his royal duties, i wanted him to have a more casual look, and dropped some layers (the undershirt, gloves and tights... or whatever they are) - but! i kept the drama of the cloak + got inspired by his outfit in apology tour and gave him a darker color palette! also his little shorts are very special to me.

my favorite parts to draw are stolas' legs, while my mortal enemy is blitz's tail - looks amazing but so hard to draw, for some reason.

i particularly love their glowing eyes, which the show emphasizes way more in more recent episodes!!

FORMER BEST FRIENDS WHO WERE PRESUMED DEAD, GOT AMNESIA, WERE MANIPULATED INTO A ROLE, ANTAGONISTS, HOMOSEXUALS, SEEKING REVENGE FOR SOMETHING THAT WASN'T WHAT IT SEEMED, MASKS, STUBBORN ASSHOLES WITH LOFTY DREAMS WHO ARE HURTING, VICTIMS OF DECEPTION, HOMOSEXUALS

There are so many similarities in their characters between the two of them. I do like [TGAA] more than [MM] though (I don't like him to begin with), but they are pretty similar. Intense, ambitious motherfuckers. Both tricked by a higher power into blaming someone innocent, someone who was, too, hurt by the same tragedy. Still grieving. Both faced with the protagonist and their unwavering faith in them, which is what eventually pulls them out of the shadows the manipulator concocted. The best friend got into their career to honour them, to continue what they started! While grieving them!

There are some key differences in them, though, I'm not saying they're the same character – nothing further from the truth. But they seem to fit a very specific archetype. The whole "we were best friends, you are my enemy now + you forgot me + i thought you were dead + i continued your path" thing. Quite the mouthful.

Just finished my first playthrough of BG3. Romanced Lae'zel, but ending up turning into an Illithid because the idea of making Orpheus or Karlach do it didn't sit well with me (or my character).

I told Lae'zel to leave with Orpheus in the end (I heard she wouldn't stay with a ghaik anyway, which she's valid for, but also, it doesn't feel right to ask her to stay when I know how much her people mean to her). And like-

A FELLOW PURVEYOR OF GOJICHISM… it was a joke when i first found out about it for me but it’s not a joke anymore like i’m sorry but satoru saying he trusts ijichi the most out of everyone… him having ijichi by his side for a decade… telling him to get strong or he’ll slap him (i think gojo also just didn’t want to see another person he cares about die + he needs all the help he can get so he NEEDED ijichi to be there for him in any way that he could) and i just kinda think about how out of everyone that gojo probably spent the MOST time with ijichi… that’s his little pet that he enjoys bullying/playing with :3 but he loves him a lot……… likes teasing him and all <3
