Everybody say thank you to the m3 plushie page for FINALLY ending any future kumatora age discourse

#i got into m3 around uhh March? and by mid March I was already sick by anyone bringing up her age #what’s even worse is that people got actually mad at the fact someone Interpreted a character with a vague age as a different age from them #it was WILD.#It’s one of the first times I saw something that seemed up to interpretation be a topic where people insisted it’s not #though some ages I saw were . odd #mother 3 #Kumatora #earthbound #if you still don’t see her as an adult after the description I wont try to change your mind. you do you man #just please don’t get mad if someone else does

i dont think anyone knows this. but when i used to play fgo, i was plauged with nightmares of cu alter before he was released in the gacha, despite eagerly waiting to roll him.

ones of him surrounded by corpses, and of him being isolated in the ruins. then when i got him and heard his voice lines for the first time, i dissociated so hard that i became physically ill. it was like my body was screeching in despair at the mere sound of him (idk why lol), and i felt as if my reality had been destroyed. the level of discomfort was immense, but inexplicable in nature.

then the next day i logged back in and was like "wow cool guy" "huhu so seggsy" as if nothing happened 🤣🤣🤣

he is the only fate character whose arrival impacted me so intensely.

At the company retreat, one extremely drunk girl asked what my pronouns were. (Eventually, it took her a while to word the question.) After the whole conversation was done, she goes- "YEAHHH GURL, Get on with--with THY bad self! See what I did?? They/them/thy."

I was almost holding back tears from trying not to laugh as I told her yes that's great you nailed it honey. Thank you very much I am feeling the love.

“Are you the witch who turned eleven princes into swans?”

The old woman stared at the figure on the front step of her cottage and considered her options. It was the kind of question usually backed up by a mob with meaningful torches, and the kind of question she tried to avoid.

Coming from a single dusty, tired housewife, it should’ve held no terrors.

“You a cop?”

The housewife twisted the hem of her apron. “No,” she muttered. “I’m a swan.”

A raven croaked somewhere in the woods. Wind whispered in the autumn leaves.

Then: “I think I can guess,” the old woman said slowly. “Husband stole your swan skin and forced you to marry him?”

A nod.

“And you can’t turn back into a swan until you find your skin again.”

A nod.

“But I reckon he’s hidden it, or burned it, or keeps it locked up so you can’t touch it.”

A tiny, miserable nod.

“And then you hear that old Granny Rothbart who lives out in the woods is really a batty old witch whose father taught her how to turn princes into swans,” the old woman sighed. “And you think, ‘Hey, stuff the old skin, I can just turn into a swan again this way.’

“But even if that was true – which I haven’t said if it is or if it isn’t – I’d say that I can only do it to make people miserable. I’m an awful person. I can’t do it out of the goodness of my heart. I have no goodness. I can’t use magic to make you feel better. I only wish I could.”

Another pause. “If I was a witch,” she added.

The housewife chewed the inside of her cheek. Then she drew herself up and, for the first time, looked the old woman in the eyes.

“Can you do it to make my husband miserable?”

The old woman considered her options. Then she pulled the wand out from the umbrella stand by the door. It was long, and silver, and a tiny glass swan with open wings stood perched on the tip.

“I can work with that,” said the witch.
