I wasn't gonna make an Indigo Park oc but then I started thinking about the theme park I went to as a kid and I got the idea of a beaver running a ride based on water flumes like Logger's Run or Splash Mountain :3

They're also based on wildlife education characters like Smokey the Bear and Ranger Rick!

#indigo park #indigo park oc #id imagine their ride would be close to Oceanic Odyssey so theyd be good friends with Finley :)#they also 100% sound like Velma Dinkley #this design was so fun to work on tho #and doing research on similar characters unearthed some Core Memories #like I completely forgot about Ranger Rick!!!#i used to love reading those and national geographic whenever I found an issue :)#i like to think theyre a really anxious character that tries to prepare for everything #but then their worrying causes things to go wrong #but somehow they manage to narrowly escape it every time #the name took a bit bc i wanted to name them after a tree but none of them sounded right #i almost went with Bramble but Baylee sounded better to me and wasnt as similar to Rambley #also their ride is based on Logger's Run from Michigan Adventure my beloved <3 #theres a little storyline about needing to transport the logs to fix a dam thats about to burst #and at the end you save the day and are rewarded with an honorary Ranger Badge! #basically yesterday night was chaharshanbe suri . which is a solar new yr tradition where we let go of the past suffering in our year #and like...start the new yr w fresh vigour . anyway so my friend was at the event and we were abt to leap over the fire #and she was like bro im im glad u blocked her (situationship) etc etc . and then. my phone started vibrating. and i look at it. and my f #friend looks at it. and its her. and were both like what the fuck?? i blocked her things r Over and anyway so i pick up the phone and shesl #acting like nothing happened (bc nothing DID happen for her) and she was like ohh ur doing chaharshanbe suri im not doing anything etc what #are ur new yr plans so i jusr .IDK WHY I DID THIS . but ig i didnt wanna come off as like lonely i said probably hanging out w family and #friends maybe reading poetry together . et cetera and she was like wait that sounds so fun why didnt u invite me!#LIKE WDYM YOUVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY MAKING IT CLEAR U DONT WANT TO BE IN MY PRESENCE . and i told her that after #everything i thought she didnt want to see me again and she was like you always think that 😐 . like. ?? ok anyway so she expects me to #invite her . and like. there is an above 0% but sub-5% chance she will actually show up . but the panic that gripped me #i started making calls to my friends asking them if they can come on the 23rd bc there must be an event and also i asked my mother #and she said actually yeah i am doing a thing on the 23rd :D it involves over 16 ppl (we live in a v small flat) of which like...7 are kids #so you wont have space to be in ur own room let alone invite others. which tbh like ...being around a bunch of loud kids doesnt seem fun fo #any of my friends or me etc so i thought maybe i should arrange things so that we all go out together and if she shows up she shows up 🤷‍♀️#but . im so. WHY DID I SAY THAT . i had to panic-call my research partner and ask him to get from oxf to where i live on the 23rd #and when he heard the explanation he like. the light in his voice disappeared 💀 but he potentially agreed so idk #THE ISSUE IS. 23rd im supposed to also have . a date #w this girl that i had a huge crush on when i was 15-16 (posted abt this b4 but id get shitty black coffee in the mornings just to spend a #few more minuted w her each day and she was the cleverest girl in school and she cared abt nothing but her academics but now shes very gay #scraggly homosexual etc etc shes cute) and YEAH IDK #like id have to go there on the date come back fast meet ppl POTENTIALLY (again under 5%) meet situationship girl #like is that even doable #but the thing is it would be so so so funny bc all of my friends dislike her sooo much #.........what if i invited the girl im supposed to have a date w over to hang out w us #god that would be so hilarious and chaotic . i wont do it tho im a mature person x #but it would be soooo funny #I HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT DUE TMRW 12:30PM IT IS 10:49PM RN I HAVENT STARTED IT bc i was rotting sadly in bed #popped a ritalin pill tho so here we go x #i have found myself in a state of such sheer agony and rage and sorrow and grief over this girl that atp i feel like #its just so entertaining . like i feel vaguely over it? ik nothing will come of it so its like just . have fun . vibe

Day 6 Past!

(no new art. my arm hurts. yall get grimm sketches instead)

So when grimm was born she was stolen n sold. Cause her parents pissed off agate at some point :/

Where she was sold to is a research facility that worked on cures for various diseases.

Yknow the episode of doctor who with the cat nurses? This one :

It's like that.

When she was 5 agate decided to rob the place she was at n took all the patients so they'd have to buy em back. She didn't know who grimm was. But she did decide to keep her so that's where grimms been since :3c

She n felicity got married when she was 12 cause ppl kept asking agate if they could n she got really annoyed so made grimm pick someone on the ship :/

When she was 16 is when ferris unwillingly joined the ship, she blinded him in one eye in the process but they quickly became friends after :)

Then at 20 she died. Then got kidnapped by cosmo n lauren. Then agate got her back n made cosmo n lauren also unwillingly join the ship! As one does :)

Now she is 23 (20(3)) and she is the worst girl in the universe!

She also is still sick and gets sick pretty often cause the whole labrat thing. And since cosmo n lauren are doctors that specifically work on sirens it's why agate decided they weren't leaving. Grimm makes their lives hell tho cause she is Terrified of hospitals/doctors/needles ect ect

Uhh let's see. She has 6 siblings 1 is human the others are all agates kids. The 5 that are agates all hate agate n want her dead. The 1 human is another kid agate stole at some point, he's currently on earth! He is 35 (not really important for bitten off but is for Sloan n Beatrices story)

Here's Apollo's family tree on his mother's side! We always talk about the Olympians, so I thought it would be interesting to look in the other half of the family. Here is everyone listed from top to bottom, left to right.

Coios: Titan of Intellect, and overseer of Heavenly Prophecy.

Phoibe: Titaness of Intellect, and overseer of Earthly Prophecy.

Perses: Titan of Destruction.

Asteria: Titaness of Shooting Stars and Nighttime Divination.

Lelantos: Titan of Air and moving unseen.

Leto: Titaness of Motherhood and Demureness.

Zeus: God of Storms, Justice, and King of Olympus.

Hekate: Goddess of Witchcraft, Magic, and Ghosts

Aura: Goddess of the Breeze and hunting partner of Artemis.

Apollo: God of the Sun, Music, Poetry, etc.

Artemis: Goddess of the Moon, the Hunt, and Archery.

Extra note: While researching to make sure I got this right, I found this little note that makes me giggle and kick my feet bc I have so many ideas surrounding it. LIke maybe a fic I don't know maybe probably that could be it but idk hahahahaha.

Clearly Coios functioned as the prophetic voice of his father Heaven, just as Phoibe was the prophetic voice of her mother Earth. Like Delphoi, navel of the earth, the axis of heaven was also guarded by a Drakon: the constellation Draco.

His grandson, Apollon the god of prophecy and light, divided his time between Delphoi, the shrine at the centre of earth previously held by Coios' wife Phoibe, and--during the winter months--Hyperborea, the land beneath the axis of heaven in the far north, represented by his grandfather Coios.

We never even touched heavenly prophecy in ToA. I wonder what that's all about hmmmmm???
