Harry saw his lips part, and curled into a small smile as he removed his mask. Staring back at Harry were a pair of brilliant blue eyes, twinkling at him like twin stars. The stranger winked at him, and his head felt giddy.

But with the new dragon age 4 trailers and art, we see those evanuris symbols and we Know that 2 of them are going to feature, and Razikale and Lusacan are the only old gods left, who could be any of the evanuris really, but my guess is

Dumat = Falon'Din, killed in blight 1

Zazikel = June killed in blight 2

Toth = Sylaise kileld in blight 3

Andoral = Andruil killed in blight 4

Urthemiel = Dirthamen either killed in blight 5 or turned into Keiran

Razikale = Ghilan'nain

Lusacan = Elgar'nan

and honestly any could be any of them, I'm just kindof going off vibes. The last 2 are just more heavily theorized to be Elgar and Ghil.

I want to point out that Razikale could also be Dirthamen, since mystery and secrets line up fairly well, and Lusacan could also be Falon'Din, ala night and death. and I personally think Razikale could be Andruil and that Urthemiel may have been Ghilan'nain but I have no evidence other than Andruil's symbol of a bow kinda looks like the one headpiece and again, vibes. There's ALSO the constellation codex you can use to try and line these up but it's like, complica- ANyway, it could be any of them really

this image below also shows 2 figures, who we can kindof just assume are like, 2 other big bads

Given the shape of their heads/imagery, a lot of people theorize that the one on the left is Ghilan'nain, and the one on the right is Elgar'nan, but we also don't know for sure. The main points for these 2 has to do with Elgar'nan being associated with the sun, and Ghilan'nain being associated with monsters.

There's also This image where someone tries to line up all Evanuris names to symbols, from lysergic_fox on reddit

and now this from the new reveal trailer- 7 pillars with the evanuris symbols atop them, although we can only see 4 in the clip

so yeah i think a lot of signs are pointing in the evanuris = the archdemons direction and there's 2 left + maybe Kieran who used to hold the soul of one of them, but after DAI's ending of Mythal taking ~something~ (probably the old god soul) from Keiran and then Solas ??killing?? Mythal and that blue smoke, Solas may have both Mythal and the other old god baby soul, idk wtf happened there.

another reasoning for thinking evanuris = old gods actually comes in form of a codex in the Bellitanus constellation in DAI, where it shows Urthemial and the constellation looks like this; compared to one of the evanuris/bell symbols on the right

if this theory is true, it seems likely that the black city is also part of arlathan, and that the BAD (big ass dragon) in the trailer may be of the remaining evanuris. (it may also not be but again.)

So now, where do we think Titans and the blight fit into all this, knowing what we know about Lyrium being Titan blood, and red Lyrium having the blight and the titan mural?

I would guess these were all actually elvhen or whatever. But who wants to bet the Great Betrayal is when Mythal was killed?? 👀

I almost wonder if some of the archdemons/old gods are forgotten ones instead of evanuris? but the numbers for the evanuris line up so much better.

AND we got the Forbidden ones; a group of four unique and very powerful ancient demons. It is said that they are older than both the darkspawn and the Tevinter Imperium. Some scholars even believe they taught the Magisters of old how to use blood magic.

There's another codex or something that talks about how they were exiled from the evanuris lands but i don't remember where it was in the wiki. Interesting that they all seem to be spirits/demons however.

so like *total speculation here* but i think the forgotten ones may have been solas's old coworkers and might still be kicking and i *almost* think he's trying to save them, rather than the evanuris, and his "plans" consist of getting their help to deal with the remaining 2 evanuris/old gods

So anyone else want to go off the deep end and compare constellation codex notes?? theories? 👀

Oooh from that ask game, I was curious about both "She Burns with the Light of a Thousand Worlds" and "Spiderverse but with Danny Phantom" they both sounded really intriguing!

I’m going to start with “Spiderverse but with Danny Phantom”, because “She Burns with the Light of a Thousand Worlds” is a whole thing!

For “Spiderverse but with Danny Phantom” - you know that tumbl post that went around where some spider dude thought they had cockroach powers, and they made their whole shtick cockroach-themed, but then they got pulled Into the Spiderverse and realized, “oh no, oh no I got it wrong, this is so embarrassing, I am having a crisis” - etc.? So, that, but with Danny Phantom. All I have written in the doc is this:

“Let’s do this one last time. My name is Danny Fenton. I was bitten by a radioactive portal, and for three years I’ve been the one-and-only Danny Phantom. I don’t know what I’m doing here any more than you do - maybe there was a radioactive spider in the portal or something? Maybe it fused with me in the accident… oh no. Am I part spider???”

[Danny proceeds to have a crisis on screen, and we move on to Peter Porker]

And that’s what I got!

“She Burns with the Light of a Thousand Worlds” is a story that came to me in a dream. Literally.

One night, I had one of the strongest, most vivid story-based dreams I’ve ever had, and when I woke up from it, I had to write it down. I also had to hum into my phone the base melody of the song that was central to the dream, but it turns out the song was “Salut d'Amour, Op. 12” by Edward Elgar, so I don’t even have to go and create it!

Below is the beginning of the doc I have for this story:

This story takes place in a version of the DC universe. A weird, red and black spaceship (an egg, really, but not shaped like any egg we know) hurtles to Earth, and the Justice League goes to investigate. “Salut d’Amour” starts playing in the Flash’s head, shortly before the ship opens and disintegrates, releasing a beautiful golden bird. The bird flies almost impossibly fast, but Flash is just able to keep up, and finds her when she’s ready to be found, the Justice League trailing behind him. She appears then as a little girl playing a simplified version of “Salut d’Amour” on violin. She explains that the world of her parent was destroyed, and she is the only survivor, and she just wants a home - a place to build her nest. Her parent was wasteful, negligent of that world. They built their nest too big and intrusive, and the world paid for it. She does not want that for this world - she will be careful, and resourceful, and she will make sure her nest holds a symbiotic relationship with the world around her.

By this time, her simple song is playing in all their heads. She has tugged on all their heartstrings - she is a baby, an orphan, the last of her kind. She just wants a home - a place to build her nest. The JL agrees to help her. She hugs Flash, who was her greatest supporter here, and beams up at them all, and they all feel incredibly warm and fuzzy inside. This is the right thing to do.

Her nest, like the song she sings, starts out small and simple. As she grows, though, her song grows, and she needs to build a bigger, more complex nest. Rather than building a new nest separate from the old like her parent did, she incorporates the old nest into the new. As she promised, she forms a symbiotic relationship with nature, and with humanity. When her nest is big and complex enough, she lets the humans form a community college there - one which specializes in conservation, mutualistic architecture, and the study of aliens and alien worlds.

And that’s where things start! The story, the song, and the nest grow in size and complexity as this little girl grows into a powerful young woman. I won’t say more, because this is a WIP that I do really want to write! That dream I had really popped off, and I want my writing to match!

Just wanted to say that your idea of the backstory being in puzzle pieces is so good I kindda wanna know how would you do a one-ahot backstory comic for Eddie.

Alright, I'm definitely not as good at writing as you are, but I'll give it a shot.

This is a bit long so I'm putting it under a read more

Also, some warnings for child abuse, physical abuse, school trauma, bullying and brief mentions of ableism

One of my ideas is that there could be 14 different scenes or memories that he looks back on, as a reference to the 14 pieces in Elgar's Enigma Variations because I just think he'd love them. Each section is a double page spread, with some being like typical comics with panels, and others being like single illustrations.

We could start with him being an adorable baby in his mum's arms, his dad standing next to her. Their body language seems happy, but there's something in the eyes that could hint that not all is well.

Edward is in school. These pages can be a montage, in the shapes of different jigsaw pieces. I'm probably projecting here, but I think maybe he could start off excelling academically, being top of the class, but finding himself too terrified to do anything less, his grades only starting to slip once he decides he's above grading systems of lower intellect. So anyway, the panels are of him getting good grades, but struggling a lot socially. There can be whispers amongst the students, rumours that he must be cheating.

Edward gets hit by his father. His mother tries to protect him but to no avail. Near the end, the panels dissolve into being a crossword with the words "moron" and "liar" over and over.

One of his teachers gives him a book of riddles. There is then another jigsaw montage thing of him reading it whenever he can: at break, at home, hiding it under the desk in class. He is getting very absorbed in it.

Edward is a teenager standing lonely at high school (middle school in the US but like Year 7 over here), with the silhouettes of people mocking him. The silhouettes can have crosswords inside, maybe with some insults (although realistically they would definitely be saying slurs and I wouldn't want to put ableist language in it so it would have to be toned down)

Edward's father destroys his book of riddles. He snaps at his father, who proceeds to beat him much more, berating him the worst yet.

Edward is growing up. The background is a jumbled assortment of jigsaw pieces in different colours. He looks miserable.

Edward is an adult now, and leaves home.

Edward is reading the newspaper. On one page is a crossword, full of words relating to Batman but also intellect, like "Genius", "Greatest" and "Detective" being connected to each other, "Hero", etc. On the other page is a picture of Batman. Perhaps Edward has annotated the newspaper article and drawn on it.

The Riddler finally meets Batman, and fights him. It is clear that he is in awe, even when he is defeated.

Edward is behind bars, looking miserable again.

Edward is out of prison, and meets Query and Echo

Query and Echo are now working with him, wearing themed spandex as well. He looks so happy to finally have friends who care about him, but then the police sirens come, and everything turns to blue, and all you can see is black lines of his face full of dread and fear of losing everything.

The last scene, as the Finale, is him looking at the future, sprinkling in a little bit of existential angst. He is in the front of the page, with jigsaw pieces in the background, all jumbled up, and showing different possible futures of him; we could see glimpses of him as an old man, and him wearing a crown, and him covered in blood dying. There are also some of him being happy, this is very important because we need hope and he deserves to be happy. One of The People took the form of a dragon. This is a big No No bc that form is considered a gods-only thing and we can't have the 'lessers' trying to achieve godhood all willy-nilly, now can we?

He was punished for it by Elgar'nan. Idk ab everyone else but when I read this I assumed he was incinerated sun-god style. (💥🔥) But I've been poking my head into fan speculation/tinfoil territory and it appears a lot of people think Elgar trapped him in a demi-dragon state instead.

But here's the thing. The jump from "some guy got turned into a dragon thing" to "there's an entire race of people that descended from this guy" is an odd jump. If it was the one guy, it wouldn't actually be a huge deal in the grand scheme of things.

Unless it wasn't just One Guy.

So there's two paths we can deduce:

Guy is made into demi-dragon. He's set loose, exiled perhaps, or maybe he runs away. So he sets out to try and undo it. He ends up meeting a nice Monster Fucker and has kids. OR...

Elgar'nan, being the asshole he is, decided to punish the entire Family Line. So now there's a higher stake: An entire Group of people cursed with this form! Forever!

One Guy is a drop in the bucket, genetics wise.

An entire population? That's an impact.

Now at the time of this event, there wouldn't be much urgency. Plenty of fear and despair, yes, but they could all work together to figure out how to undo this and they'd have all the time in the world!

But then the Veil happened.

And the elves started to die of old age.

And suddenly there was a time limit.

So now they have to find another way to undo this curse, and they have to do it knowing that the first generations would never get to be free, but maybe, just maybe, the future generations would.

First paragraph of the last entry from The Forgotten War:

The Scaled Ones had set up a camp at an intersection in the Deep Roads. In the center there was a golden altar fashioned in the shape of fire. A chill swept through me. On the tip of each flame hung the corpses of those we'd lost—including Father and Drohg. They'd been drained of blood, leaving only bone wrapped in grey skin. A robed Scaled One stood before the altar. Its voice was different from the others: softer, almost feminine. It chanted and raised a basin of blood towards the altar. The other Scaled Ones bowed low. The robed Scaled One produced fire from its palm and mouth and ignited the blood.

My guess is that somewhere down the line, they discovered Dwarf blood had magic-weakening properties (or stone-magic is resistant against sky (elf) magic). The reason they couldn't use elves? Well. *waves at Alistair and the whole "elf DNA gets dominated by every other DNA" shtick* It was useless. They'd just get more dragon babies.

So they went hunting for Dwarves, because that actually put a dent in the curse over time.

Do this for several generations, and eventually you'll have a group of dragon people who look almost-human. Qunari.

It would also add to their extreme distrust of Mages and Magic, because while everyone used to technically be able to use magic, it was a very powerful mage that cursed them in the first place. (The Ariqun and/or the Temassaran could also be hiding the historical practice of blood magic.)

I could also speculate that Magic could disrupt the work that's been done to break the curse; agitating the spell running through the DNA causing it to "flare up" again. Like radiation and grapefruit mold except the mold is the dragon curse. I hope that makes sense lmao.

Anyways that's my new tinfoil on this subject I hope there wasn't too much reaching lmao.
