when terfs say they hate men they're saying they hate trans women. they do not hate cis men. they don't even mean trans men. they mean trans women. that does not mean trans women are men. it means they know what upsets trans women and are acting on it. "they see trans women as failed men" 1) no they don't, they see trans men as failed men they need to save 2) they see trans women as subhuman atrocities needing eradication 3) this doesn't mean they respect and coddle trans men/mascs, some are nicer to trans men/mascs than others, but overall they're horrible to trans men/mascs 4) even if they actually do see trans women as [failed] men, that's no reason to acknowledge that, all you do in your "actually they really do see trans women as failed men!!" is tell trans women/fems that they need to put up with being called men even by you.

Every single one of these and more is meant to make subtle jabs to make you associate trans women as men and trans men as women. Some blogger you're parasocial with says these things, you parrot them, the people that follow you parrot them, now they're completely disconnected from their source and just accepted as true, despite them being completely wrong. Bloggers like nothorses and genderkoolaid and genderqueerdyke are known to platform terf rhetoric all the fucking time, to platform outright lies about trans women, while also throwing in actual issues with transphobia or "we're all faggots in the eyes of the state!" kind of posts. and you take them seriously because you're not educated about feminism. About transphobia. About misogyny. About racism. etc. Your knowledge comes from posts on tumblr, facebook, twitter, you don't actually read anything about these topics, instead you get taken in by terf grifters writing their own medium articles and then reposting it on tumblr.

Then there's the fake intersexism element, like with dabwax (literal terf btw, barely even a crypto) and status-quo-hater who make a living out of demonizing transfem hrt and surgeries and say they need to be banned or harder to get under the guise that our medical needs are intersexism, they often misgender transfems (dabwax once called me a male and after i blocked her for it she refused to gender me correctly). But none of the transandrodorks notice that because they'll parrot things like "trans men face a unique kind of oppression that transfems could never understand" or something, self serving interests.

(why are you calling us faggots?), say you should be allowed to hunt trans women (do I need to say it?), stalk and harass and misgender transfems (seems pretty obvious, right?), call us pedophiles for literally anything - even calling a trans woman a pedophile for not liking Stardew Valley, call us "mentally ill ugly tranny," misgendering nonbinary people by calling them "cis men" to try and discredit them, say we can't be lesbians, say we have "AMAB privilege," say we were "male socialized" (VERBATIM TERF RHETORIC) and if you question any of this you get the pet transfems that have bought into terf ideology that then stalk you and harass you and try to speak over you and one look at their blogs you find they're unhappy conservative losers.

feeling sick thinking about Hawai‘i after its most recent tsunami watch. Luckily there was no tsunami but it is harrowing to hear about friends and family talking about the ordeal of trying to evacuate to safe zones while thousands of tourists and outsiders treat it like a joke while causing all the traffic and taking up all the space in the shelters.

Nobody thinks about the everyday harm of colonization, the exploitation and erasure of culture. But especially nobody thinks of the immediate danger of it either. Even after the Lahaina fires, nobody cares. People died and tourists took up the resources and locals were left with no home to be prey to predators who wanted to buy their land. Who knows how many people could’ve been hurt in a real life tsunami scenario due to overpopulation of haoles causing traffic and taking up space and resources that doesn’t belong to them.
