My favourite part about this episode is that it was a postmodern parody of itself. They were fully aware at this point (and pomo was in) of how troped and stereotyped their show was, so they had an episode where they leaned into the most extreme traits of both agents (by hilariously having each one unreliably narrate the other which fit the narrative of the actual episode) and created one of the best eps (and many scenes) of all time.

I don’t have the screencaps, but the tiny details of the climax are sending me.

The way Hunter glanced at Crosshair because he knew Omega had one last trick up her sleeve when she smacked Hemlock’s arm.

The way Omega waited until she saw Crosshair give her the tiniest of nods, showing her he was ready.

The way Hunter looked over at Crosshair again when Omega ran up to them, proud of his brother and quietly telling their kid, “Yeah, he needs this one more than I do.” before she went in for the hug.

It’s so good.

i just went to the cinema to watch the national theatre live recording of present laughter with andrew scott from 2019 and now i don't know how i'm supposed to just go about my day with all this feeling bubbling inside
