Well, it’s still Sunday, so I’m here to share! Thanks so much for the recent tags and shout outs @rimeswithpurple, @roomwithanopenfire, @the-beard-of-edward-teach, @monbons, @fiend-for-culture, @prettygoododds, @orange-peony and @nausikaaa! Things have been going pretty well for me all around, and I’m pleased to have had some time to be working on Pull Yourself Together, the fic I’ve been writing for Arianna’s birthday this year. It’s been a month now, but I’m closing in on finishing this unexpectedly long only-one-bed fic.

Excerpt under a cut for Mature (for a value of “mature” 😒) content:

I’m lying on my side when I wake up with Baz curled around me, pressed against my back. His chin is resting on my shoulder, and he feels as pleasantly cool as ever.

I’m hard. This can’t be happening—I just took care of this in the shower last night! I know it’s normal to wake up with an erection, but it hasn’t happened in the week that I’ve had to share a bed with Baz, and I suppose I’d been trying to put the possibility out of my mind. I’m so fussed that it takes me a moment to realise that Baz is hard as well, and then I really panic. He’s going to think I think it’s because he’s gay. Of the two of us, I’m in the better position since he won’t know I’m in the same condition.

Baz sighs against my ear and tightens his arms around my waist. I really can’t do anything, can I, except pretend to be asleep. Once he wakes up, I’ll play as dumb as I can while he extricates himself.

Aaaand that’s as much as I can share, except for the fact that Simon then actually does go back to sleep 🤣 Disappointing!

gojo: it happened when he returned back from a mission- a particularly tiring one, and was greeted with one of those unmistakably comfy hugs geto provided- the reunion and his exhaustion made it easy to slip so quickly, and with a little less shame then if he’d had to walk his partner through the ins and outs of things, but suguru was always good at learning by doing.

geto: it happened when he let his hair down, nevermind the reason- gojo quick to comb his fingers through it, wrapping strands around his fingers as he went along- his hands were so soft and inviting- coupled with the forehead kisses from time to time satoru managed to sneak between giggles and sweet nothings there was an undeniable fuzziness he felt must’ve been what his partner had described as regression- he slipped slower, taking the time to savor the smaller headspace as it overcame him, and acknowledge that he too deserved to be taken care of.
