🤝: How did they meet in the first place? What was there first impression of each other?

I won’t say too much here for now since the comic i’m working on right now is about how they first met! Buut, I will talk about their first impressions of eachother!

Kyra thought Floyd was the prettiest, most interesting thing she’s ever seen. She was especially charmed by his smile, she’s never seen such sharp teeth! She thought it was the coolest thing ever!! Not to mention his eyes, too! She thought everything about him was just so interesting and unique, she couldn’t help but be curious about him! She felt sad when she and the other Heartslabyul students had to leave, a part of her really wanted to stay and talk to him more, but oh well.

Floyd, on the other hand, thought Kyra was really interesting too!! She looked so pink n’ cute, all sparkly too! And merfolk loove shiny things. At first he kind of thought she’d be a pushover. A poor, defenseless lil shrimpy that accidentally got herself trapped at NRC.

Well he was dead wrong, and he learned that rather quickly… In less than 5 minutes his opinion on her flipped immediately— honestly he thought she was a little weird, but thats what made her more interesting. More fun. Hehe, such a weird lil shrimpy! He thinks, and he can’t wait to know her more.

(Not really an opinion, but they both felt strangely familiar to one another. Like they’ve met before, somehow…)

🫶: Who ended up falling first? Which of them actually realized that they’d fallen in love first?

Hmm, honestly its hard to tell… I think part of them has always been in love with eachother, if that makes sense? Theyre js annoying like that smh

But Kyra was the one to realize her feelings first! And oh, she was a mess! She was so worried this would ruin their friendship. She was really confused and panicked, as shes never felt this way before, and the only “experience” of romance she has is from reading fairytales about it.

Oh here we go!!! Get ready its time for fluff!!!! I could go on forever about random lil tidbits about Floyra.

As theyre both avid collectors of odd trinkets and really just whatever catches their eye, Kyra and Floyd have gotten into a habit of showing eachother whatever “cool” thing they find throughout the day!

Kyra and Floyd have been kicked out of classes several times from them laughing too hard.

Kyra likes to leave Floyd random little sticky notes with sweet or silly messages and doodles on them wherever she knows Floyd will find them. Floyd started doing this too, and it eventually became a competition on who could find the most sticky notes.

Whenever Floyd has a rough day at work or is in a bad mood, he heads straight for Kyra. She brightens up his mood almost immediately all the time.

Floyd has left a LOT of his things back at Ramshackle with how much he sleeps over. (A toothbrush, random articles of clothing, leftover snacks…)

Kyra and Floyd both adore fashion, and they love to go shopping and thrifting together!!

Kyra teaches Floyd how to make jewelry out of random bits and bobs, usually bracelets.

Kyra loves to design and make clothes for Floyd. Loves seeing him in the clothing she made, it makes her really proud!

Floyd randomly gives Kyra gifts for no reason. And they can range to a flower growing from the sidewalk, to an expensive jacket from a designer brand. Whatever it is, Floyd loves to spoil Kyra. And Kyra loves spoiling him, too!

Floyd likes to sit at Kyra’s right side whenever they’re in classes because whenever they (Kyra) is taking notes, their hands always bump into eachother.

^^ They came up with a compromise, with Floyd sitting at her left side instead so they can hold hands during classes ♡

Can you give me a few art tips i want to be able to draw sin kiske too

I am not the greatest at explaining things or giving advice. These tips are just what many artists have already said and points that *I* personally agree with or have helped *me*. The reason why I am putting emphasis on myself is because everyone is different so what helps *me* might not help you. These things you will have to figure out yourself, BUT there are many MANY art tutorials from different artists with different styles so maybe you can find something there! Anyways moving on-

Don‘t think too much and just DOODLE DOODLE AND MORE DOODLING

I am serious, turn that brain off and start doodling. I had this mental barrier for sometime (that I am still struggling with) where I just didn‘t feel confident in my art and didn‘t even wanna START drawing, bc I felt like everything sucked ass. But just turning that brain off and mindlessly doodling is so SO great because it doesn‘t have to be perfect or anything AND through the repeating motions of sketching you‘re training your hand to become better at making nice smooth strokes. Sketching mindlessly is honestly very theraputic for me, cuz I just get to have silly fun. There‘s no pressure in doing things. AND sometimes doodling mindlessly can lead to great ideas.

Tracing/Referencing

Ik there‘s lots of discourse about tracing and referencing in the art community, but I can only tell you that this has been extremely helpful for me and getting my anatomy right. While tracing helps getting the placements of body parts and lines right, referencing really helps train your eyes what to look for. You‘ll start to recognize familiar shapes that are prevalent in almost all body types or certain things that are almost always there in nature. Tracing can also help you get more familiar in the way that you draw certain things. These techniques are all about familiarizing yourself with whatever you‘re trying to draw (bodies, faces, landscapes etc) and engraving it into your mind. Ofc if you decide to post something where you traced or referenced something it‘s always good to show your sources, but this is mostly something to do in private.

Take breaks, treat yourself with something nice :)

Art can be tiring, so be sure to always ALWAYS take breaks when you feel like its about to get frustrating and maybe eat something, do something else to replenish that art juice, yeah? Breaks can last however long you want. Whats most important is that you won‘t start hating the process cuz this shit can be mentally taxing so breaks are super important. Even if the break takes a year or something, art can always wait and its not like you‘ll immediately forget all your skills that you have gained yk? Maybe you‘ll get rusty but muscle memory is one hell of a thing. You‘ll get the hang of it in no time!

Get shiggy wiggy with it

What I mean by this is to just have fun. Art is supposed to be enjoyable, so I say go crazy, go stupid with it. Like who gives a shit if its stupid or cringe? Just have fun! Don‘t let someone ruin the fun in art for you, okay? These people stink anyway smh my head… they just don‘t understand the joy of creating a beautiful art piece about ur favourite charaters doing dumb shit or kissing each other. (Just uh… don‘t get illegal with it)

Get obsessed with something. I am very serious about this

Unironically, getting obsessed with a character or franchise has helped me a lot to keep being motivated to draw. Like a character that just makes you so so happy that you just keep drawing them (I mean, look at me 💀), which goes back to the first point. Being obsessed with something can keep you drawing something for a long time. And it gives you a big ass serotonin boost. However-

Try something new!

Drawing the same thing over and over again is great, but it can get stagnant really quick. So sometimes you have to try something new, stuff that might be difficult or things you aren‘t really confident yet (like hands. Yeah I know, its a nightmare). Doing this will make your skillset much bigger and may deepen your understanding on how stuff works cuz this art stuff is really interconected. Like, if you know one thing then maybe you can also do the other.

Take it slow. Be easy on yourself

There is ALWAYS this constant need to improve. Especially on social media, where artists are expected to improve in lightning speeds or post the perfect art pieces (and tbh some of these might be self imposed too). But you really, you don‘t. Just enjoy it at your own pace, be proud of the stuff you made. Save it, keep it and look back on it to see how much you‘ve improved. Don‘t view art as something you need to be perfect at, but just as something that makes you happy. An outlet for your feelings. Something to do when you‘re bored. Or stuff like that, cuz it‘s really not that serious UNLESS you want it to be like a job or something. So be patient, because art is a marathon, not a sprint. There is no need to hurry.

Aannddd if you wanna be able to draw Sin specifically then channel your inner whimsical creature, become jolly, be silly and get shiggy wiggy with it :)))

Sebastian (chupacabra). butcher who sold human dubiously sourced meat. kept animals to keep up appearances of selling meat that was not a person and abused them more or less for the hell of it. died after contracting rabies from one of the dogs he kept. doesn’t look half bad for 30 (he is 21).

Chul Moo (kumiho). a serial rapist and murderer. but like we stay silly. killed himself to escape arrest. died with that cigarette in his mouth.

Delun (qilin). medical prodigy who made several healthcare breakthroughs and tried to distribute medical care for free. died by sudden respiratory attack and didn’t get medical attention fast enough. autism creature.

Abayomi (pheonix) (as a tiny doodle). a recovered alcoholic who became a substance abuse counsellor. carried a lot of guilt and self loathing about his alcoholism due to a fear of becoming like his father, who was also an alcoholic, and abused him and his other parent. died due to liver failure induced by a relapse. gods saddest most miserable creature.

Aishik (abaia). the youngest character, only 18 when he died. he worked at an orphanage. died trying to save a child when the building collapsed. all of the evil people make fun of him for actually having taken care of orphans like some kind of good guy stereotype.

Anna (wolpertinger). an elementary/middle school teacher who was so so niceys and would never ever ever do something bad (child molester). died after being poisened by one of her victims. women’s wrongs etc.

Chiyo (baku). a religious and spiritual leader who upon creation my sister realized was accidentally a little cult leadery but like she’s good like imagine if there was a cult leader but genuinely a good person who improved people’s lives. died due to complications with a variety of chronic illnesses. i wont her.

Austin (dropbear). cannibal <3. he was raised by a single mother until he was 4, when his mother died suddenly and due to a concoction of shock, intrusive thoughts, grief, panic, and being 4, he started eating her. was in the foster system until he ran away age 12 and started living on the streets. ended up eating another person out of desperation and from there began developing an addiction to human meat. died by kuru (cannibalism induced prion disease). has tapeworms.

and these two are some of the Watchers!! the Watchers don’t have names but the characters refer to these two as Ouruborus and Dog respectively. Ouruborus is more heavily featured in an alternate version of the story i didn’t explain here (it’s a tournament arc) and Dog is more focused on in the main story. the two are the main speaker in their respective paths.

the other 4 characters not featured here are Chris (kelpie), Kal (hellhound), Chime (snow lion), and Daiki (raiju). Chris and Kal are the two other Evil Guys and Chime and Daiki are the other two Good Guys.

these guys are from my sisters oc story For Better Or Worse (fbow). it’s a story set in the afterlife, where after death, humans wake up with the head of the animal they are deemed most similar to in life. they spend time in this afterlife realm until they feel closure, and in this time they gradually transform into their creature until they have fully changed, and then they’re reincarnated as that animal. the realm is run by Watchers, unsettling non human creatures who, though not malicious, cannot truly understand human emotion in the same way humans cannot truly know how ants feel.

the story focuses on 12 characters who were so exceptional in life that they woke up with the heads of mythical creatures. 6 were exceptionally good and 6 were exceptionally evil. they can’t reincarnate in these forms because their creatures can’t exist, so the Watchers tell them that they need to either Better or Worse in order to change into real animals and reincarnate. if they fully transform before getting better/worse then they’ll be stuck in the afterlife forever.

I had a dream I bought tons of Acme Senkou albums. I kept five of them for myself and the rest I handed out freely to fans. The five albums on me I got the members to sign them and take a cheki with me. One album Chisa sign & cheki, one album Shogo sign & cheki, one album Rikito sign & cheki, one album Hal sign & cheki and one album they all sign & group cheki. The albums with their signatures & the chekis' with cute silly doodles. After that I didn't say or ask for anything. Acme looked really happy I bought so much of their albums and gave them to fans. As, a thank you they wanted to hang out more with me.... [THE END] Awww my dream didn't go further than that. Anyways it was cute. I think Acme will be cute silly dorks that'll keep you entertained. Hanging out with them sounds like so much fun. DREAMAGINATION I suppose.... I imagined Chisa in a magical school girl outfit a second after I woke up. I couldn't stop laughing.
