I really hope to do more of these. This project is a perfect way for me to get character design studies done. I simplified their appearances and made some of their outlines blocky for the purposes of cutting them out easier. Even so, some areas are tricky to cut. I plan to work on another bunting of triangles next, again reflecting Dragon Age: Origins themes. If folks are finding these characters are too tricky to cut out, I hope the next designs will be more accommodating.

I initially wanted these to be double-sided, so you could have each character facing either facing/looking left or right. The first character I worked on was Morrigan, who has a asymmetrical appearance lol. Immediately after inverting her sketch to inspect the other side, I realised I can't flip her shoulder feathers to the other side. So the double sided idea was scrapped, and instead I thought they could be a silhouette of the white and bloody box art cover (without the dragon). Lazily I used the splatter pattern in Clip to cover their silhouettes on their reverse sides.

Lastly, wanted to apologise for only providing a Ko-fi link. I'm trying to boost traffic there, so I won't have the google drive upload for now.

I need to put myself out there, and honestly, I don't know how to do that on tumblr. I'm okay with my tumblr just being a small blog that I'll treat more as a progress journal, while the professional sounding stuff can go to Ko-fi. I plan to make an insta this month, which I'm not 100% about doing. I've been working on pieces and designs, but I have no eyes on it. I have to market myself T_T so I'm awkwardly rolling up my sleeves and going for it. I'm going to be making some mistakes, which sucks, but thankfully I get so much shame out of every tiny misstep, which means I try to not do it so much.

now this is a question i like to see

so here's a few i really like :

The Green Creek Series by TJ Klune - now when I tell people that my favourite book series is about gay werewolves. they presumably judge me. but this series is one of the most well written things i have ever read. It doesn't follow typical A/B/O dynamics AT ALL which makes it really interesting and is written by a queer author also. everytime i thought the last book i read would be my favourite, i was mistaken. there's such a sense of brotherhood, family and community in it. its one of my all time favourites.

All For The Game by Nora Sakavic - this series is absolutely insane. it is one book series that i absolutely LOVE but rarely reccomend to anyone. its somwhow about a made up sport, a mafia organization and also is somehow gay. its also so good. i read this when i was about 15 and it has had me in a grip ever since.

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi - I read the first shatter me book when i was in the 8th grade and i borrowed it from my best friend. I got in trouble that day for staying up till 5am to finish it. i will admit, I have not read all the books, but i have read most of them and i love them. Aaron Warner is the ONLY blond man i will ever love and i mean that.

The Lightning Struck Heart by TJ Klune - there's a gay unicorn. that's all i have to say

This Savage Song by V.E. Schwab - I analyzed this book for a book report and then presented it to department officials at an English moderation. when i tell you i could tell you VERY DETAIL of this duology (the duology is called Monsters Of Verity). I absolutely loved the characters. there were some weak points but just. overall. I really like this book.

The Mark by Edyth Bulbring - I wasn't going to include this book on this list initially, but this book was my setwork in the 10th grade and I absolutely loved it. it was the first and only time in my life that i throughly enjoyed a setwork.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - yes i know this is a popular book. yes you've probably read it but this book means so much to me. the hunger games is the first book i bought with my own money. I bought it from a little second-hand bookshelf in a vintage shop and it's one of my most treasured possessions. the books themselves were absolutely brilliant and i adore them. katniss everdeen will ALWAYS be that girl btw.

I didn't like blade at first for some reason. too edgy and emo and seemed generic like a sasuke (I never liked sasuke lmao) when I learned about yingxing, I really liked him but still didn't like blade. now I like both for some reason even if yinxing is a dumbass who did this to himself. but blade grew on me somwhow, and someone really needs to gently hold him or something. that poor man. he's so broken. give him a break 😭

Do you think Aemond and Myrah are good at comforting each other when the other is upset?

Honestly Aemond is the only husband material characters in asoiaf because you just know he would be incredibly caring and considerate. Like he genuinely seems like the type of husband that would make sure that Myrah is tucked into bed properly every night and always treats her with respect and genuinely cares about her option 😭which is just so important in the asoiaf world where men can literally lock their wives in a closet or never let them see their family the way Daemon did to Leana.

Yeah I think once they figure out each other’s attachment styles and their argument styles, they would have a good rhythm. They know when to give each other space versus when to press something. I would think they have a pretty healthy dynamic for the time period (think nedcat but minus one party thinking the other cheated lmao). Honestly the homesickness thing is something I plan to cover. Bc someone like myrah, who is close to her parents/sister, would have a hard time adjusting to knowing she basically has to make her own family now. She’s already voiced some anxiety over the idea of dropping everything to become a wife and a mother.

Aemond takes a lot of cues from myrah, which is a bit surprising/usual not only for the time period but also bc of how Aemond is. I was thinking about it in f&b terms, where almost every woman in villainized somwhow. I can imagine what would be said about myrah essentially ‘taming’ Aemond. Though honestly, he’s the same. Just has a wife and kids he doesn’t play about. The witch allegations might be in full force I fear. Mind you, she just has en effervescent personality.

I'm reading Renegades and there's a whole 33 pages missing from the book!!! Like is this normal ???? And also after page 310 it repeats itself from page 279 onwards. My English teacher thinks it's a printing error but my friends think it's supposed to be this way (which make no sense but then again either do they) and idk what to do. Tbh the 'squeaking defeats choking' hc came from a small AU I have where the crystal somwhow de-ages SkekSil(only him) to like baby form & now Zok is basically given the task of parent while SkekTek figures out different ways(his age will slowly get bumped up/not a normal aging process) to bring Sil back up adult age.
