In a rare moment of inelegance, Roxy flapped her arms up and down, exasperated at Eggsy’s sheer bullheadedness. “If you don’t call that being head over poison-tipped Oxfords for you then what else could it be?”

Eggsy, the lovable idiot, just shrugged. “Indigestion? Or maybe diarrhea, I think he had the runs this morning.”

Roxy stared at him for a long, hard moment. When Eggsy started to squirm underneath her gaze, she whipped her phone out of her coat, pressed a few buttons, and brought it up to her ear. “Merlin? Merlin, we have a problem. I can’t deal with this.”

The phone’s speaker crackled with a sigh. “Ah. It seems like we find ourselves in the same circumstances, Lancelot.”

“Harry too?”

“Yes.”

“Goddamnit.”

“Um, Rox? What--”

She snapped her hand up and raised her index finger threateningly. Eggsy shut his mouth.

Roxy sighed. “Alright, then. Should we proceed with Plan B?”

“I believe it would be wise. Will fifteen minutes be enough?”

“Let’s make it twenty to be sure.”

“Fine by me.”

Roxy ended the call. She sighed once more and pinched the bridge of her nose, sensing an incoming headache.

The headache shuffled close to her, unsure of his welcome after Roxy’s admonishment. Before he could utter another word, however, Roxy grabbed Eggsy’s sleeve and began herding him away (more like dragging, if you asked Eggsy, but he was currently spluttering as his best mate started herding him someplace.)

“Roxy! What the hell is going on—stop that, you’re wrinkling my suit!”

“Shut up and follow,” Roxy growled.

Eggsy wisely shut up and followed.

“He thought that Eggsy was blushing because of indigestion, Roxy. Who blushes because of that?” Merlin groaned, thumb and index finger coming together to massage the aching area between his brows. Roxy could relate.

“Oh my God. Eggsy said the same thing.”

“I don’t know what to do anymore with these oblivious idiots.”

Bug Dewi (Mining Bee)

Many people have asked what Dewi, from the HK comic, would look like as a BUG. (The design is very loosely inspired by the Mining Bee). Here's a lil bit more art. And here's Dewi's dad as a bug.

I have also learned too much about this bee and will now infodump about why this is a cute bee for Dewi.

Mining Bees are solitary, but they commonly nest close by one another in "bee cities". I thought this would fit since Dewi is a Human, a social creature, but not a hive mind.

As a rule, Mining Bees are non-aggressive and their stingers are too fragile to sting humans. Much like Dewi, these bees do not want to fight.

Male Mining Bees are covered with shaggy patches of hair, which I thought would fit Dewi's signature fuzzy head.

Hi it's just to let you know that the official romanization of Revaan's name is Raverne ! Also they have romanized Baul's name to Baur !

Twst coming back at us again with the least expected romanization! thank you everybody (oh god my inbox) (no it's great, I literally asked for this and the reactions have been INCREDIBLE, thank you all!)

I do like Raverne though, I think it's got a nice fancy sound to it! (I had kinda suspected it was going to be an R instead of an L, so the fact that it's SO close to Laverne except for that is hilarious to me personally.) and Dragoneye Duke is honestly probably the best translation for his title, I wasn't envying the localizers that one. :') Baur instead of Baul I was NOT expecting, but in retrospect I think his name's supposed to be a reference to the Bauru crocodile, so that actually makes way more sense!

someone else also said Meleanor has become Maleanor, which is the REALLY weird one to me, because I was so surprised it was written as Mel instead of Mal in the first place?! oh god no I can't decide which one I like better. 😭 (I wonder if they might change it to Mal...they have made romanization changes before) (like I remember House of Distraction being corrected to House of Destruction in Playful Land) (I did check and she's still Mel for now, but I dunno, they might Mal her up and some point and save me from having to make a decision about which one to use) (HECK I CAN'T DECIDE)

his fingers twitch at his side. you brought something… just for him? his lips curl downward as he tries to imagine just why you’d go and do something like that. perhaps it’s a mocking gesture, a show of pity, something of the sort. but the smile you’re wearing makes the answer clear—it’s the same reason you gifted them to nahida, because you’re simply happy to have seen him.

he takes the flowers from your hold, rotating the collection bound by a pink ribbon in his hand. soon, violet eyes like the night sky are staring deeply into yours. “i have no use for these.”

the words scratch at your heart like a cat’s claw—quick and painful, but you try to ignore the way it stings.

“oh, well, you don’t have to keep them.”

you reach out to take the flowers back but the gloved hand tightens around the bunch of stems, and you’re almost certain that the wanderer pulls the bouquet closer to his chest. “it’s rude to ask for gifts back, is it not?”

“i suppose you’re right.” the scratch he left behind on your heart is quickly bandaged, the lingering sting disappearing like it was never there to begin with. you can’t help but smile, let hope sprout in your heart at the thought that maybe you’re making your way into his. “in that case, i hope you find some use for them.”

Prompt 203

Another Hydra prompt! Because I am enjoying the designs I’ve made lol. And perhaps it’s a bit inspired by @radiance1 ‘s different dragon prompts too. 

So they’ve succeeded! They’ve managed to combine their powers- with a bit of shapeshifting helped along by so many ghost allies- and become a giant duck-you dragon! Well, originally they were going to do something else, but they couldn’t agree on an animal, so dragon it was! 

And how mighty they are! They’re giant, absolutely massive- dwarfing the couple of skyscrapers still in Amity. Damages via ghost attacks and general sparring made it where people really didn’t want to rebuild those types of buildings. 

But anyway, dragon! Them! They’re absolutely stunning! And did they mention powerful? Because boy oh boy, are they powerful. The GIW’s guns do practically nothing against their combined might, and barriers shatter before them! 

The uh, issue is that they erm… can’t turn back. Which is fine, they’ve all sort of outlived most of their generation- thank you possessions and ecto-contamination, it’s just a tiny bit of an adjustment. But really it’s not too bad, and someone needs to stop the GIW from trying to poke their heads into Amity. Like it’s been a solid couple of generations, it’s time to stop, thanks. 

Actually they’ve been a bit quiet. Meh, that surely isn’t a problem. Probably. Honestly they’re all going to use the opportunity to sprawl out where the school yard once was, their favorite place to sun their scales. Huh. Usually more people are around now that they think about it- or really, as Paulina points out, sharpening her fangs on one of the rocks.

How long had they been sleeping, because it couldn’t have been that long. One of them was always awake, they slept in shifts after all! Yet there are things missing now as they patrol the skies, both Wes and Tucker pointing out specific buildings that the others didn’t particularly notice usually that now lay empty. 

Hm. 

Oh. That is a… strong barrier there. A really strong barrier actually. Pfft, they can take it! They’ve shredded every barrier together before- Ow.
