I will finally draw yuugi #ygo has been in my dna for like close to a decade at this point and yet. I have never attempted to draw anything for it #until now. my audacity has finally reached quota #wishshipping saved my ass this lunar new year and its not even an exaggeration. thank you kazuki takahashi for the boys. rest in peace #mutou yuugi I love u.... u r my son #not mentioned in this stack but dsod's decision to thin yuugi's choker is the funniest shittiest character design decision on earth #like as a detail its so nothing. when u zoom out it just looks like a shadow dropped wrong somewhere. I did start this whole blog with the dreams of one day being able to draw better equines. So Yes. I did need this.#The true benchmark of my art progress is actually the quality of how I draw Little Apple.#(no seriously go look back at my little apple tag. Then come back here).#Hey welcome back! I know right! What was I even doing at the start? That was *not* a donkey!!!#That aside - I really am thrilled that I can draw her more. Even if she's only *really* in two more comics for season 2.#I wish I had more thoughts here. I'm so distracted by the donkey rotating in my brain. I missed her so monch.#Oh! Yeah I really like the parallels here between WWX and Little apple.#Specifically the sense of how we get a nod to how he's changed.#Little apple and WWX have both grown a little less lean and hungry (one literally the other metaphorically)#This whole episode is basically about WWX's desire for something peaceful and domestic in his life.#and here is little apple - his first companion from the start of his new life - changed to something softer.#Very much a 'look how far we have come moment' that is rather subtle but enjoyable.

Ok ok hear me out: it could end in tragedy,, AND have a happy ending. The attempt(s) on Machete’s life force him to flee, he doesn’t even have the chance to find Vasco. Cue gay longing for at least a few years while Machete despairs over the loss of his love, his life, his status. He and Vasco only reunite (again) in their later years. Their relationship is forever flavored with loss and loneliness, but that only means they savor every moment that much more

I also I would like to see them as old men. Vasco would be so droopy :)

#Vasco would go white and gray in the face like an old golden retriever and get wrinklier #his golden fur would get shaggy and gradually lose it's shine #at some point he wouldn't be allowed to ride horses anymore which would upset him greatly #he'd get rheumatism and bad back and his hearing would worsen but he'd be an active and jolly type of grandpa #Machete would mellow out considerably if he managed to retire #I'd like to believe he'd be able to find some sort of inner peace in his later years #even in his prime his eyesight was bad and he spent his entire life fearing going blind so if he eventually got cataracts and lost most of #his remaining vision he'd probably be relatively fine with it as it was something he knew to expect #and he would have Vasco to look after him #his left ear had trouble staying upright when he was a pup so it would be kind of funny if it started drooping again #answered #anonymous #Vasco #Machete #own art #own characters #this isn't canon or anything I'm just musing

OLLD drawing I can share now of Timmy after recovery and care from staying on double life and being looked after by the box boys~

He’s healthier, happier, his hair and wings have grown back out and have a pretty blue-black sheen to them (that he never knew he had bc in hels his diet and environment only let them be dull) and he just heard the sound of a portal opening for someone to come visit~!

#I’m still gonna draw scraggly Timmy most of the time bc this version is only after a LONG long road of peace and health on double life #BUT LOOK AT HIM!!!!#my fave bit is that he still gets to have his long hair like he likes but he’s confident enough #to push it out of his face with ren’s glasses when he wants #the glasses also let him flip them down and protect his eyes which he needed a LOT when starting out #the sun is so warm and pretty but his eyes have known mostly darkness of his cave in hels so he needs some light reduction here and there #anyways I’m so happy to share this I will always love and explore pathetic creature Timmy and DONT GET ME TWISTED—he’s still very pathetic #even when healthy but he’s learned and growed and gets to put meat on him bones #gets a bit more of that Jimmy broadness in his shoulders and stands up a bit straighter so ppl realize even more that he kinda tall!!!#ok enough yammering BAM HITS U WITH THE TIMMY SMILE RAY HAVE A GOOD DAY #hels to pay au #htp art #Timmy #htp spoilers

#*this also applies to the not-ladies among us #y'all deserve a good pensive ramble across a moor in a really cool greatcoat #just be sure you don't turn it into anything vigorous #this is not the time to be Aragorn we are looking for Jonathan Harker pre-Dracula at best #in regards to the moor: a wind-swept cliffside would also be suffice #it would NOT do wonders for my health of course but hey #fortunately the bestie and I have plans to go hiking next weekend and if we don't have another option I'm gonna beg for the hemlock trail #I'd also take the cedar springs #I just need Nature that isn't the beach #in other news I am happy to report that the week is smoothing itself out somewhat #we're all still on edge but it's not as bad as it was and we've effectively kicked loose the pebble in the the shoe #my darling sister sent me a gift and told me to treat myself so I may get bubble tea after work #and I begged for tomorrow off so I can sleep and then spend the day coughing in peace #(this is such a bizarre cold. I didn't get any of the preliminaries outside of some sneezing)#(and then it was straight to my chest. not even a sore throat first! usually I get a lot of build up and can often get ahead of a bad cough #(thankfully my nose is not congested. I actually love how gunslingerpro, badwatervideos and interloper were created around tye same year with a strangely similar theme about them.

Ooh the gmod ragdolls are alive and the player tortures them!

OHH the whole source engine is a living organism the species of which try to hide from unknown entity but most importantly players. There's so much about this hidden world we don't yet understand if we ever will.

I'm pretty sure no one's copied no one but it's like in 2020s several creators felt like they must make a story about sentient AI, raising the moral questions about what it means to be alive, ethics of deciding what is allowed to live and whatnot, seeing yourself, the player, as a danger, and just playing with the idea that the characters of your favourite game are actually alive.

It's like people needed that. Because it's true. I do!!

Quick question for the Touchstarved fandom!! As much as we love Ais calling us 'Sparrow,' I have to ask - if you had to decide, what other bird nickname do you think he would call you/your MC? :O

For example, Ais would my Unnamed MC Daniella 'bluebird,' while he'd call my Alchemist MC Edgar 'crow' (and another OC I'm planning, Shinju, 'woodpecker!')

#Ais calling Mhin 'that dove' has made something click in my brain and I had to ask this orz #Ngl it made me wonder- Does Ais base his bird nicknames off of appearance or personality?? Or both?? Or something else??#Doves mean peace and pacifism and uh *looks at Mhin* Peace and love to them but they don't exactly remind me of either of those- Mhin's hai #has the same color as doves though so that makes me think back to appearances.. But maybe peace is something that Mhin yearns for? Idk #Sparrows mean resilience; adaptability; joy; and freedom- I remember someone saying that freedom is something that Ais wants due to Ocudeus #But also that sparrows are one of the most common birds in the world- So to Ais (at least at first) you're just another face to him #and he tries to distance himself from you by calling you a common bird. I'm not sure where I'm going with this but it's probably something-#I personally like to think Ais's nicknames are a combination of personality+appearance but I could be very VERY wrong DKLSFJNS /lh #Tbh I doubt Ais is super focused on the deeper meaning of his nicknames (since he gave us our sparrow nickname upon his first impression)#But still!!
