The thing about the hospital scene being cute from certain versions of The Nigerian Job is like, that's the scene that made me fall in love with the show! I was honestly a little on the fence about it until that scene! It's so good! And there's people out there who have never even seen it!

some things in genshin fandom really just don't make sense to me. ie somehow the most controversial ships at least have canon material, whereas some ships are decently popular but literally only eyecandy with 0 substance. like why are you doing this, they don't even have mutual voicelines or story mentions, they've NEVER interacted, would have 0 reason to even in future storylines, the only reason you like them is because they're lesbians together or smth

I am (technically, even if it's been a few days) writing a thing about the birthday Insta Story mishap from last week. All that needs to be written for it is an opening scene.

I just got home from a bit of a writing weekend I had for myself, wherein I really only focused on one of my bigger projects for efficiency. I'm about to involve myself in completing an eight-week milestone in my degree in the next month and a half, so I'm trying to finish this Carlos/Lando fic rather than attacking smaller Martin/Lando ideas right now. Unless of course, the Martin/Lando itch resurfaces before the longer fic is done, but for now, my project priority list looks like: -Carlos/Lando artist!Carlos part 3 (2/3 way finished) -Martin/Lando hiding in plain sight thing (1/4 finished) -Crackpot Martin/Lando/Carlos thing (1/? finished)

With the random drabble interspersed here and there pending events that happen/inspiration. All that being said, I have thought about a phone call following Lando's win, so I'm noting it down to be sure I don't forget.

Dishonored has a special place in my heart bc i first played it while still learning english. back then, gameplay-wise i wanted to play some stealth game like this (first i tried Thief but it was too scary and the controls were confusing), that also has collectibles with bits of text that aren't too long and explore the game world — not too tiring and not affecting the main plot too much. so on my first playthrough i ended up searching every corner for collectibles (the "gaming ocd" which i enjoyed and still enjoy doing) and was rewarded with a small language lesson (which i also enjoyed).

it was years ago, i now read books and watch films & videos just fine — and video games helped me get here.

it made me remember how i played Mirror's Edge Catalyst two years ago, when upon discovering the load of various collectibles with text i went "i'm not reading any of this bs" and just collected stuff bc i could lmao
