To some, peace is the sound of the ocean beating against the shore, or the sound of rain pounding on their roof. Maybe its the way some people grow in chaos, or the way chaos has been more constant in their lives than peace, or people. And perhaps they even think there is peace in their chaos. It's possible that those who grow up in the storms and waves and downpour are the ones who see the eye of the storm more clearly than the others. They can see it ftom miles away, they can see it with their eyes closed. It's like the storm has become home to them, having held them in its arms for so long and cradled them in its uncertainty. Maybe the storm even birthed them and now they have a gift, they are the ones who walk on water, laugh in the rain, and find the calm in the storm. Guys, as you know, I'm currently writing and uploading chapters of Nothing in the Mirror. But in the meantime, I'm writing on Remnants of Time, which will be much bigger than NitM and hopefully, accepted and loved by you guys.

I know that you don't know much about it and I can't give you guys much on it yet, but I wanted to offer you a way of participating in the process of writing such a long and detailed story. I have a scene in mind where a detail is mentioned about a character that I would love to let you invent. (Or, if there is any comic book reference that I don't know of, please, tell me so I can include it.) Out of all answers, I'll choose one that I think fits most to Clint's character.

Work in progress! For such a long time I would look out the window at the shops in Mascot (aesthetically my favourite suburb in the whole of Sydney) and would just have this longing to try and capture the cute, miniature but also somewhat edgy and graphic scenes of the suburb. I’ve also been longing to try and draw a scene from life for the first time on MS Paint but have been immensely put off due to my HSC coming up REALLY soon, body of work hangover, thinking about how I should actually be studying instead of attempting to do any new art and also dwelling on how detailed and almost intimidating this scene kind of is to depict on MS Paint and whether I would do it any justice. Neverless, I have to start somewhere - cliche but I won’t hone my skills in MS Painting unless I actually give it a go. I can thank the fact I had a whole room to myself for a free period (I have a Mac at home = no MS paint) and my sheer boredom for the fact i’ve actually overcame my anxieties about starting a new piece of art after completing my major work and giving it a go! I’m not quite sure when exactly I will finish this - but I think I like the way it’s headed.

Another progress pic for the Tomb Raider piece. I'm usually not a fan of doing super clean pencil line art before inking (I focus too much on tracing which tends to lead to stiff images D: ) but in this case I'm glad I did since every Lara needed to be distinct and recognizable with her outfit. It's easy to tell the difference between them if you see a screenshot and the 3D rendering/style difference in each game, but since I pulled them into a similar universe (the "my art style" universe, huh huh) the only real distinctions I had to work with were the outfits.
