A small headcanon related to Cross: he looks quite intimidating and cold to strangers even though he doesn't mean it but when he's with people he's comfortable with he's loud and can't hide his emotions at all- he's easily excited, he can't keep that serious royal guard persona

Though now that I think about it even when he's trying to look intimidating he's adorable I'm SORRY I CAN'T TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY I LOVE HIM A LOT

btw tw for talking about abuse

I've seen a lot online about how the game never mentions Caterina's abuse of Lucanis while he was growing up (being beaten and starved, which is mentioned in the Wigmaker Job) and I think there's a small mention to it if you're a crow (when asked, he says it was torture training under the first talon and that he resented her for a long time)

And while I do think part of the reason why this isn't brought up is just due to how sanitized this game is when it comes to the crows, I think I do understand why in world wise it's not possible to just be like hey lucanis, fuck your grandma.

It's really hard, loving someone who hurts you. Because you know they're hurting you and yet, you still love them. It's even harder when they're family.

Because its not like Lucanis doesn't know that she hurt him. He says so himself - he hated her, he resented her, and althought I do think him 'justifying' it by saying that at least it prepared him for the life of a crow, at least he still admits that it happened.

But the thing is that despite all this shit, she's still his grandmother. And like, yes, blood shouldn't excuse justifing this behaviour, I feel like it's cultural. Idk how spain or italy works when it comes to family, but here in brazil, you'll hear so many stories of physical abuse happening in families, and its still a situation like Lucanis - i hate them, i resent them, i love them, they're my family.

It's a...complicated situation and I think Lucanis's situation is made worst by the fact that he only has two family members alive and that he cannot let go of.

She beat him, she starved him, he hated and resented her, and he was afraid of dissapointing her, even if in her eyes, i don't think he could. I mean, he comes back an abomination and she still tenderly says 'my poor boy' when you rescue her in the Villa.

All in all...it's tought and I think that it would not be Rook's place to suddenly make Lucanis want to kill his grandma bc he wouldn't. Sorting out those feelings is something he has to do himself, and i'l almost glad the game doesn't make rook do a therapy session with him to talk about it.

#IT'S SO WEIRD I HATE IT I HATE IT SO FCKING MUCH #I've had this weird relationship with numbers for years but it's gotten so much worse #I'm so obsessed with even numbers and odd numbers likeeee #I have even days and odd days?? that's what I call them anyways #where on even days everything has to involve even numbers and on odd days everything has to involve odd numbers #like those are my safe numbers for those days #and if I use the wrong number on the wrong day something bad will happen so I have to.I guess?? neutralize it?? somehow..#usually I figure out how in the moment but other times I just panic #likee for example today's an (I'm assuming) even day right now. so I have to have my tv volume on an even number #I have to eat an even number of food today #I CANNOT rb something on tumblr if I'm not on an even numbered reblog or I'm not an even numbered note... that makes no sense lemme explain #so I always have to like posts I reblog it's a rule I have for some reason. so in order for me to reblog a post #I have to land on an even number when I rb it #so for example if a post has 172 notes I'll like it which'll give it 173 notes then I'll rb which'll give it 174 notes #but if the post already has 173 notes before I liked it then I'll just like and not rb bcz if I rb it'll be 175 notes #which lands on an odd number and ahasbdhfbdsfaedw #it's the same for odd days just vice versa (it'd have to be on 177 though bcz 5 is an unsafe number for me rn)#YEAH 100% unsafe numbers for me are 3 5 6 and 9 and any number involving those numbers (so 26 and 13 are still unsafe)#basically no matter if it's an even day or an odd day I cannot land on anything with those numbers #and if I don't follow these rules my brain made up then something awful will happen or my day will go bad #or something I wanna do won't go well #thess numbers apply to EVERYTHING. and and it's SO ANNOYINGGGG. I thought i escaped sims 4 but it's dragged my dumbass back again.

I hate this game. I need so many mods just to be able to just to fix it so i can play without being frustrated. but no matter how frustrated i get, i keep coming back : /

Anyways! Like my new little me? (i forgot what they're called. Avatar? *Shrug*) I'll put some more stuff (and doodles) about them under the cut

They're a candle! The body and oversize hoodie are all the wax and the undercut ponytail is the little flame (like Ember from Danny Phantom lol). Her feet are kinda goopy and her hands never show b/c the sleeves of the hoodie drip over them (sometimes driping off completely.)

i got kinda bored with my old one (drawing me but purple) so they got a little upgrade for my silly little personal doodles.
