Chat noir is hiding just as much from Ladybug as she is from him, and they are both doing it just so the other is kept safe and unburdened because they both have a flawed understanding of the other, which leaves them both at fault for the ladynoir fall out.

Okay, yeah, I genuinely think that we will once again go back to this time period after the season 5 finale and before season 6

There are too many crucial things the special either left out or even contradicts with information we get in the last scenes of season 5 which takes place right before the new school year, whereas the special is right BEFORE the summer break. In France that break is 3 months, but even if it's not that real life number, then its was still the summer break and we obviously still need answers to unanswered questions.

Let's start with the most obvious thing:

1. How did Cerise get the Butterfly

We didn't see when or how Cerise got the Butterfly Miraculous and what on EARTH she did in the Agreste Mansion if she supposedly didn't watch the last battle and therefore SOMEHOW still doesn't know who Ladybug is.

Say "it's bad writing" all you want, but not explaining that AT ALL is a new level of neglectful. They didnt had to have her be there for almost the entire end battle. And SOME explanation is due to HOW she got the Butterfly.

Especially because

2. We never saw Marinette looking for it

At the end of season 5 Marinette explains that she turned into Aquabug and looked for the Butterfly, but couldn't find it.

I know its easy now to just say "Marinette is lying through her teeth", but this is something where it makes no sense for it to be a lie. A moment like this HAD to have happened, and I think it was hinted at in the special:

I think THIS is where her searching as Aquabug must have taken place, too, and it's why she afterwards runs crying to Nathalie.

It must have because right afterwards Marinette holds the press conference where she already states that the Butterfly is lost. AND Marinette at no point in the special is shocked or confused about the Butterfly being gone. We never get the moment of Marinette realising she forgot to look for the Butterfly and then her not finding it.

The special just smoothly transitions into her already knowing it's gone and not being surprised when it's already somehow in a villain's hand.

Combine this with us not having seen what Cerise did in the Mansion and how she even got the Butterfly, then yeah, I'm fully convinced that we'll be coming back to this, even if it's maybe gonna be in season 7 bc the show is frustrating like that.

Then of course:

3. Cerise's wish

We never got an explanation what her wish was. We know it was fundamentally changing the course of this time-line, threatening to end this one and creating a new one, but that doesnt mean you can just write it off as "Cerise wanted to nuke reality"

Cause Alix explicitly says that its not THAT dramatic. This wasn't Chat Blanc who almost wiped out all of reality. So Cerise's wish must have been something big, but not reality-shattering.

I would even go so far and say that the point of her using the wish was for the story to already get through with that for her character right away because she won't be after the wish in the show proper the way Gabriel was. That she had to realize that she cant just use the shortcut, because she's supposed to put her head into it and try to accomplish her goal herself. That this is what changed history, her using a shortcut. So her plan from here onwards will show us what she wished for.

As of right now, I would even make the argument that Gabriel's wish actually caused Cerise to loose her memory and this was her attempt at getting it back hence why she freaked out the way she did in the end.

Cause remember, she has known for ALL OF SEASON 5 that Gabriel was Monarque. Him being dead should not be the disqualifying factor here. She already KNOWS that. And it makes no sense that she didnt find out who Ladybug is in the Mansion.

So what I've already speculated for a year now is that Gabriel's vague wording of his wish will be the deciding factor here.

Because Gimmie is an individual, too, like all the Kwamis. The all-mighty personification of Reality and yet they're not allowed to actually be part of reality besides for the wish-granting (which Gimmie COMPLAINT about) and even there in their eyes people are asking for a mere grain of sand of the vast potential of Gimmie's power:

Meaning in short: I'm pretty sure we're dealing with genie logic now and Gimmie (aka God, I guess) used Gabriel's AMATEUR mistake of wishing something in the vaguest way possible (Gabriel, you fucking MORON!) and used the massive wiggle room to flex their power a bit and change reality into what they think is fun and interesting to watch play out.

Cause that's what Genie logic is. A genie doesnt fuck people over for no reason. A genie is an ancient and all-mighty being that's locked away, can't use its magic freely, and is dependent on the puny, young, and stupid humans who cant ever see the forest for the trees. Of course they grow bitter and deceitful to be able to live out any individuality and freedom in their awful prison.

Plus, I also find it the fitting route for the show to go that in the end we have to understand and help the abused Kwamis and powerful, but enslaved entities of nature, too. Gimmie is not wrong for being pissed and bitter about their awful prison, we just need to find a better way so Gimmie doesnt do shit like that anymore because of their exclusion in the reality THEY PERSONIFY

4. We never saw Marinette give Adrien back his amok rings

This even contradicts information we got at the end of season 5:

Adrien EXPLICITLY says that when Ladybug gave him his rings, she that this and that. But we SEE her saying it to him but not giving him his rings. So this doesn't check out. Adrien getting his rings is one of the most important moments too that just like the other ones was just skipped past with not so pretty implications.

Not to beat a dead horse, but people are really underplaying the head-fuckery Marinette is doing to Adrien with her STATED INTENTION of changing his memory to something better she decides for him, and especially when this isn't the first time she did this.

Sorry to break it to you guys, but it was already established in "Pretention" that Marinette's go-to solution is telling Adrien lies to make him believe his abuse isn't real and Gabriel is better then he is:

The scene has both Marinette and Adrien acknowledge that Gabriel is being controlling and doesn't allow Adrien his free time anymore so he can't see Marinette anymore. But once Adrien is sad about not being able to stop his father, Marinette does a 180 claiming that his father totally changed and allows him all the freedom he needs. Which he objectively DOESNT and she just pointed that out, too.

This is not some out of character thing Marinette is only now tragically being "abused" into doing by a dead Gabriel. She already did this before. This is nothing new. Its now just taken to a new level.

Combine this with Marinette being the second biggest liar in Miraculous (check out Flightfoot's post about it for more details) and how much she's for example still burring and isolating Chat Noir in lies and secrets so she doesn't feel uncomfortable in what she continues doing to him, even in the special when she just leaves him to believe his absence caused the death of an innocent man who's son is now an orphan

People are really too willing to keep ignoring or downplaying that lying, secret keeping and twisting the truth to her needs has already long become Marinette's default way of doing things.

No, she isn't ill-intentioned, but what Marinette does is incredibly harmful. You dont HAVE to be ill-intentioned to be able to genuinely hurt a person in a way that crosses the line. This is one of Miraculous' worst messages yet through Marinette herself. Saying "I meant well" automatically means the damage doesn't get to count because you felt bad for having done the bad thing so it actually getting to be BAD would be "mean" to YOU.

You can be toxic and hurting someone without meaning to or being "evil". That's why victims end up stuck in such relationships, it's because the person harming them is a 3 dimensional individual. And right now Marinette is pretty much borderlining doing just that and has shown the same tendencies long before the finale and special. This isn't new and was already harmful back then.

And PLEASE stop getting hung up on word definitions. You sound just like an abuse apologist who talks their or a friend's way out of accountability by a damn technicality bc you dont wanna face that you or a person you like can do a genuinely bad thing with no way around it. That it's not just some vague theoretical OTHER person who can do it, but a person in your life.

Now this of course doesn't mean that Marinette is an irredeemable monster (I literally just said that she's a 3 dimensional individual and not il'intentioned) but here is to hope that these ugly sides of Marinette will FINALLY be held to proper standards, so we can finally move past them.

Cause the way this end scene now reads is that after 3 months of summer break Adrien has started to seriously suppress his memories of the finale the way Marinette did in "Derision" because of all the insane trauma and loss he experienced. If Marinette suppressing her memories in "Derision" is valid, I dont wanna hear shit that what Adrien was put through "wasnt bad enough to warrent it". He lost his home bc his father send him away as punishment (yes, sending your child away means the child doesnt get to be in their home. DUH), he was seperated from his girlfriend and friends for what was supposed to at least a year, he had no idea if he would see Nathalie again because of her worsening sickness, his father was sick too, he has no choice whatsoever in his future, and he had nightmares of nuking the world blasted in his brain while being locked and watched in a white cell to be forced into submitting to control.

If Marinette suppressing her memory because she was bullied by Chloe is valid, then dont you dare imply that this isnt. By the end of the summer Adrien's memories could easily have been like a pile of playdoo and Marinette is out here spinning a web of lies that gives her validation in having done the "right" thing because he takes it and smiles.

By all mean, Cerise has all the dirt on Gabriel ever since "Revelation" and now the finale too. Let's just hope that the situation at hand will be taken care of properly instead of insisting that the situation doesnt exist at all. Cause that's not helping anyone.

Marinette's IS an opportunistic comfort liar and maybe if people would stop acting like that makes you a 1 dimensional demon we could actually acknowledge how realistic it is for Marinette to have continued changing how Adrien remembers things here so he's "happier" and Marinette herself can keep telling herself the same lies until she believes it too. Because Marinette does that a lot. It doesn't make her evil, but this is what happens when a person only gets free passes and isn't actually asked to work on themselves:

They get worse and so are the consequences of their actions on other people. Just like it should be with anybody else, it takes A LOT to actually cross the point of no return, but you cant just say "I'm a complex human being, so it can never be me". Cause that's actually the quickest way for you to end up acting in a way that no one should have to forgive you for. No matter the good intentions.

I've come to accept the solid likelihood that now Marinette and Cerise have switched roles in their established dynamic. Now Cerise is going to try and out the liar and Marinette will continue lying to cover herself.

Cause you also have to remember that Marinette just left the new villain with every other information in the notebook. She just took out her name, that's it. It is now unfortunately very likely that we'll get the dynamic from Ladybug and Chrysalis (if that's still her name) that Cerise will publicly try and reveal Ladybug's lies but Marinette will just assumes that this person can reveal the truth however she likes and Marinette as Ladybug will just claim something else everytime because she knows that most people will blindly believe Ladybug as authority and greatest hero ever.

Dont act like this hasnt been consistently built up for the last two seasons now of how Marinette uses her position of power. This is not out of nowhere and even the special only goes further in that direction with that "Only Ladybug will hold the truth and decide for the world what it is" speech.

You do you, but I will not ignore what I'm seeing. I'll instead try and figure out how there can be a happy ending despite of this being the direction of the show.

1- Plag knows Misterbug's identity. Will he share it with Bread? She already knows how to get around no-naming rule right? If he doesnt then why? (Wait Tikki knows it too... oh well.. will she share it with Adrien?)

2- I remember reading a theory about how Bread slowly absorbs powers from kwamis/miraculouses. We know from Early Discovery au there is a way to remove magic from people. Can't she just use that to cure herself? (assuming theory is correct)

3- (from chapter 37) [After all it was like his father and his mother used to tell him, lies never really hurt anyone.] If Lila makes her permenet appearance that will be what keep Adrien from acting in Mari's defence right? Or maybe Lila will just stay as annoying background noise or MAYBE Adrien will grow up enough to realise taking the high road is such a shitty idea. If Mari is forced to deal with both Lila and Cloe girl is gonna get crushed within hours.

4- (from chapter 37) [“Is it alright if we hurry this up? My sister somehow figured out I was a hero and now I have a forced bedtime.” Alya jumped in with a sigh.] HAH i remember asking something about that. Thats why i shouldnt rush reading that much lmao sorry

5- Childhood dream idea was cute and all but what about Sandboy? What would be Bread's biggest nightmare? She sure has quite a few but i vote for kwamis turning against her.

1: Plagg will probably wait to let his Bread know about the bug's identity. He wants to talk to Tikki and make sure she won't also reveal Marinette's identity.

2: Marinette would fist need to worry about herself and take time to realize just what is wrong with her. But the second thing is that the magic has already changed her more than the macaroons she made in the ED universe could fix.

3: Adrien sees nothing wrong with lying but he will not deal with Marinette being bullied. Adrien is fully intending to deal with Chloe so as long as Lila is near the girl then she won't be able to affect Marinette. At least directly.

4: Not much to say here, just that I like payoffs

5: Sandboy... now that is something... The effect would be either her losing the miraculous, as in the miraculous disappears. She loses Plagg, she loses his miraculous, and her best friend is gone.

Because ive given Nathaniel and Marc the ladybug and cat miraculous, they get to distribute the other miraculous. They share responsibility for this and choose based on their own experiences with their friends/classmates.

The reason they share responsibility is different to canon because they learn quickly the importance of trust and teamwork (will be explained soon).

The moment the box was passed over to Ailes Rouges and Veilleuse, they discussed it together, without names and shared the miraculous between the two of them to look after until the time came for the appropriate hero.

Creation Box:

Butterfly + Peacock: Same as canon (right now anyway, considering giving Adrien the Peacock, something something angst), following same beginning point anyway.

Bee: Juleka - Nathaniels choice. The first choice for Juleka was actually the tiger (explained further down). But shes chosen as the bee officially. I know this girls got pent up rage shes too scared to show or let out without a mask. The bee will be good for her :)

Fox: Marinette - Marcs choice (His first choice would be Nath if its after theyve met and become friends outside their alter egos, but is either declined or unable to be found (for obvious reasons); though Nath would likely choose the same, torn between her and Alix). If youre looking for creativity, someone with a strong enough imagination to create and spin stories strong enough to convince another person its real? Marinettes perfect for the job. Especially creating illusions of people.

Turtle: Ivan - Nathaniels choice, if youre looking for defence, someone strong to help protect people, Ivans your guy. Hes seen it first hand, particularly with Mylene, but after years of being in the same class as him, hes experienced his protection too.

Zodiac Box:

Rooster: Markov - Nathaniels choice. This one was a bit of a gamble. Markov cant see kwamis, but if he can be akumatised, it stands to reason that he can be a hero. Despite being a robot, he still only gets one use of the roosters power, as hes not human the magic has to draw from his power and since hes so small, he only has a small bank to draw from. Despite this, being small gives him more leeway into where he can go, as my roosters power is rejuvination, its important that they can get around to other heroes easily.

Goat: Alix - Nathaniels choice. The goat in my au is all about movement, and who better for than than Alix. Not to mention, theyve been friends for years, Nathaniel would trust them with his life.

Rat: Nino - Nathaniels choice. If youre looking for someone to multitask, Ninos got experience. Particularly with herding people, experienced with his brother, and occasionally his own friends. Nathaniel used to be close with Nino in previous years but drifted apart before canon present. He still believes Nino is responsible and trustworthy enough for the job.

Ox: Luka - Marcs choice. (Nathaniel would choose the same). Who else could be calm enough not to flinch at the sight of oncoming danger. Hes the older sibling of Juleka (not twin), and often cool and laidback. While he may not be super close to either hero, he knows their identity, a magical suit doesnt change a persons heart song. Luka is the perfect candidate for the Ox, he trusts the magic enough to know it wont fail him. Its just a hunch but dont you think hes already experienced with this worlds magic?

Horse: Sabrina - Nathaniels reluctant pick. There is no other person Nath has seen who is so co-ordinated. Someone who knows exactly what is going on and when and where. Despite her dubious alegions in the classroom, she can be trusted to keep a plan on track. Also shes a horse-girl, dont @ me.

Dragon: Aroure/Mirelle - Marcs pick. A dragon is experienced in the elements, and who else is more experienced than Aroure and Mirelle. They both are aware and skilled in the weather area, this experience leads to incredible skill with the dragons power. They are rarely apart these days but are very busy with their jobs, so they both become the Dragon, they swap out with eachother when one or another is busy, and it works.

Snake: Max- Nathaniels choice. Max is a person who thinks in numbers. Hes able to keep an exact time line in his mind, able to run numbers and percentages on the spot. Max is simply the most efficient Snake. His ability to think logically lends to his skill, he can effectively keep track of whats happened and whats the best course of action. Nathaniel trusts his judgement and his silence, Max is smart enough to understand the concequences and risks of an alterego.

Pig: Kim - Nathaniels hesitant choice. Now honestly, Kims the obvious pick for a superhero, hes like.. classic superhero build and attitude. However, Nathaniel hasnt always had a particularly friendly attitude with him. So despite the present situation he will always be slightly on edge with Kim. Either way, hes a straight forward kind of guy, perfect for the hunt of the pig. Nathaniel can only hope he doesnt get too much to handle, maybe he'll see Kim in a different light after. Or maybe not.

Dog: Rose- Marcs pick (Nathaniel would choose the same). The dog is all about loyalty, friendship, lowering someones guard. Who else would be perfect for the job than Rose? She is able to see the good in a person no matter what, she can keep a persons attention long enough for a job to be done, if getting a job done through affection is not an option.

Monkey: Zoe.. or Adrien - Marcs choice, Zoe, once shes transfered from abroad, becomes a quick friend of Marcs. They both have bright senses of style and well like-calls-to-like. Shes pretty laidback and adaptable, she can work on her feet which works well for the monkey. Nathaniels choice, Adrien, is also fairly new to the social scene but Nathaniels hung out with him enough by proxy that he can get a grip on his personality. He, like Zoe, is pretty adaptable, maybe less laidback from what hes seen but always willing to try something. He doesnt give up, thats important for a monkey too. Also i dont want to leave Adrien out :(.

Rabbit: Alya - Marcs hesitant choice. Shes been seen around akuma attacks before, always with her phone out and recording. Despite this shes always able to help a citizen run away or hide. Shes also friends with Marinette and from what Marcs heard, shes fairly reliable. Theyre not close to eachother for Marc to be certain, but shes around attacks enough to be reliable, shes consistently helpful, and is fairly knowledgable in akuma related activities; she'll work.

Tiger: Kagami - Marcs choice. The tigers original holder was Juleka (chosen by Nathaniel). Who else would be best for going unnoticed than the invisible girl. However after using it once, she declined to use it again. Its not what she wants. Nathaniel understood, he could see it wasnt good for her. So, Marc chose Kagami next. Kagamis sneaky, able to sneak up on someone and not hesitate. If Juleka was like a rouge, Kagami is more like an assassin.

this isn’t hate for the finale,

this is more, me reveling in the Angst of what they Chose Not To Put and screaming and wailing about how ladynoir has me in a chokehold

Im coming to terms with the s5 finale and finding bits of hope for my Ladynoir heart, etc. And i have decided that the finale has a ton of very very cool potential.

But i still can’t stop imagining… what if Adrien had gotten the messages from Ladybug??? What if he was About to give up being Chat Noir and give in to hopelessness and nightmares and terror and the cage he was trapped in and THEN (probably via Plagg, they could make it work) he got the frantic terrified messages from ladybug that were like “hi where ARE you?!?!?! Kitty cat come in NOW i NEED YOU!!?!? Hawkmoth knows my identity i think i am going to die i am all alone please please please show up i need you pick up pick UP.”

What if he was like. “Oh.” And his world just. Shifted. He thought his worst fear was ending the world as chat or being trapped even further by transforming in front of his father and being Caught but now Neither of those matter… now the only fear is just… not being Enough for ladybug… the fear of losing her or letting her down or making her feel as alone and abandoned and hopeless as he does right now????

What if he just????? Transformed without a moment of hesitation??? What if he was there taking to her on the phone coaching her through breathing and telling her he promised she would be okay and he promised he would be proud of her no matter what happened???? What if his own nightmares and fears started slipping through on the call and SHE turned around and reassured HIM that she trusts him fully and if he can’t trust himself he can at least trust HER judgement????? What if they both managed to avoid the mind control by being Each Others’ alliance?????

What if Ladybug found out that Chat Noir was in London ,,, because if Her identity’s been revealed to Monarch and she’s In His House than it’s Already going to hell and secrets don’t matter anymore, it just matters that they trust each other??? All they ever WANTED was to be open and trust and now its all they have left??? And theres not identity reveal or speculation bc it doesnt MATTER right now it just matters to SURVIVE or at LEAST be together for the end.

What if she told him not to come to Paris because it’s too dangerous to be in the same spot and he was like “im so sorry but i Cannot do that i cant leave you there Alone” and she was like “i know. and i love you. And id do the same. And that’s also why i cant tell you who monarch is or where the house is because i KNOW you’ll come here and i cant stop you. We cant both be in his grasp i just need you on the phone”

What if she fought in the basement for her life while getting support from him whilst he rallied all the other heroes and the resistance across the surface of paris???? What if we had ladybug and chat noir fighting the same battle on two different fronts, both Very Aware of each others’ situation nonstop,,, working as a Team despite the distance????? What if chat was just nonstop doing everything he could to reassure ladybug that they were doing okay and everyone supported her and he Trusted Her to do anything because the nightmares were STILL debilitating for everyone including them and they couldnt afford for either of them to get akumatized or even DISTRACTED and they just told puns and reminded each other when to use their powers and when to breathe?????

And chat could be captured or whatever and have to call out to ladybug and she could be like “send me your kwami its okay you did so good, i’ll be okay ill see you again”

Bug noire could still happen but it would be a strategic choice BOTH of them made TOGETHER with pain and love mixed together rather than the result of major decisions that they both were forced to make Independantly with no communication only fear and guilt and lonliness???

I dont know how to explain this but this is not salt this is not hate towards the episode this is just,,,, UGH this show has made me SO INVESTED in the dynamics and they had a CHANCE to do stuff and make it so fun and they DIDNT ,,,, they CHOSE to make it darker and grittier this time and i think it’s probably going in a cool direction,,, i think that ladybug and chat noir are gonna have some Fun (for me not for them) things to Discuss after this and some brand new abandonment issues combined with weird bits of Hope that Apparently they can survive on their own, all in a messy weird blurry pool of fears and relief and guilt and lonliness!!!!! And there’s so much to explore

But ALSO i miss my ladynoir goddammit i miss when it was the ladybug and chat noir show and i feel a little bit hollow seeing how ALONE!!! BOTH OF THEM were!!! this entire finale!!!!!!!!! Why are they ALONE those are my LADYNOIR they are PARTNERS do not SEPARATE THEM!!!! Stop doing PLOTS and HARD DECISIONS and IN CHARACTER MISTAKES to them and PLEASE just let them be perfect and together anyways aaaaaaaaa

working on wrapping my head around the timeline rn here are my notes from the miraculous wiki

it looks like s1 is the most nonchronological out of all the seasons- dark cupid is said to take place on valentines day, later in the season theres a couple (retconned) references to may, and santa claws takes place on xmas eve. i'm choosing to ignore it because idk how to make it make sense, and pretending everything takes place early in the school year, september-october ish

adrien turns 14 in the bubbler in s1, and marinette turns 14 in befana which is in s2. theres rlly nothing in s2 to tell when it takes place.

in chat noir in s3 rose + ladybug say it's st. athansius day which is on may 2nd, another thing i am ignoring because it doesnt make sense.

christmaster is the middle of s3 and thats when christmas is (and when theyre 1/3ish of the way thru the school year) HOWEVER. im on the timeline section of the wiki rn and apparently three kings day is on january 6th. which means EITHER 35 episodes and a movie took place between december 25th and january 6th (funniest option), OR the three kings day episode should really chronologically be in like . season 3. or very early season 4 (option i'll believe for my sanity), OR that the writers just really didnt think that hard about it (option that is probably the actual reason)

thomas astruc says that 7-8 months have passed by the beginning of s4, placing us in april-may, which makes sense.

multiplication says that hawkmoth disappeared for a couple weeks, so everything btwn christmaster & pre-multiplication took place from december 25-probably sometime in may, which i know bc in the kwamis choice (transmission/deflagration) its been 286 days/9mo 12d since adrien came to school. french 2015-16 school year started sept 1 meaning it is currently june 13, 2016.

the 2015-16 french school year ended on july 5 and adoration took place 2 weeks before the end of the school year which would be june 21. im guessing s6 is going to take place in the 2016-17 school year so that means the next 10 episodes will take place in the last 2 weeks of school

I'm not sure a power that creates life through emotions by use of magical god jewlery is supposed to make complete sense. They're creating life with a feather standing in for the soul, its not as simple as 'touch thing and it breaks', its a complex power thats not fully developed in the world because it was broken for half the show and had dogshit users for the second half.

Also in order to explore the 'emotions' side of sentimonsters you need sentimonsters that aren't just completely controlled by their user, which there are few of but more than just feast i would argue. Guiltrip comes to mind, wanting to spread Juleka's feelings of guilt after she drops the amok item. Even if it was a 'packaged deal', it showed the idea of sentimonsters acting as emotion based beings. Red Moon was a clear showing of how emotions can affect the potency of a sentimonster.

The problem isnt that we only see sentimonsters alongside akumas, the problem is that most sentimonsters we see are just puppets. Sentibug showed that sentimonsters can show more emotions than what they were created with because she showed releif when Ladybug spared her life, dispite the face that she was created through Nathalie’s determination or dedication to help Gabriel or whatever. Also Kuro Neko, litterally just a cat tho.

Of course the peacock looks terrible because Gabriel was a shit user, and Felix is shit too. Nathalie was alright, but she was too busy killing herself to feed Gabriel's savior complex to get anything cool done, and she killed Sentibug, which was the show's best window to build out sentimonster rules yet she was killed to make Nathalie seem so evil or whatever.

Despite being in the show longer, the peacock has kind of gotten the same treatment as the rooster or the goat, heavily underutilized by it's users and not shown for it's full potential. The two best users of the miraculous we know about are both dead from that busted emotion god magic radiation, they litterally created full human life. Also maybe Tomoe, but it's a tad unclear in her case.

Also you cant compare the sentikids(Felix, Adrien, Kagami) to the other sentimonsters because the kids have been alive for 15 years and have lived lives, while the rest of them are still just newborn puppets. And Feast doesnt count either, it was asleep and encased in hardened magma while the kids were developing parental traumas.

The entire point is that the miraculous aren't supposed to be used for evil and so when they are used for evil, they look like shit. Glaciator with the tiger power could blast building apart and put some craters in the floor. Meanwhile, Purple Tigress punched a pirateship into the upper atmosphere and blasted a hole in a cloud formation. Who knows what an actual capable peacock user looks like? We've never seen one!

I love the lore in miraculous but that's because I love conceptual, loosely spiritual, bullshit power systems like the kwamis because im a huge fucking nerd. Vast and powerful gods with certain aspects and powers which mortals can channel in limited ways? Fuck yeah. Slay the princess, Rick Riordon's works, Undead Unluck, Miraculous Ladybug, i eat shit shit up. Its so fun to get lost in the lore sause of this stuff and i defend it to my dying breath.

Did... Did Nathalie stealth use That Guy's emotions to make Animaestro or does she just have such perfect control over the Peacock that he didn't need to be anything more than inspiration?

Honestly, does anyone really get how the Peacock works on it's own? I just assume that if Emilie can make An Adrien based off her own or Gabriel's emotions, it's not unthinkable that Nathalie wouldn't even need the director to be involved in creating a Sentimonster from his emotions or just in his likeness.

Unfortunately, all the examples we physically get to see In Canon has Mayura channeling through an akuma or through Hawkmoth himself, making them packaged deals.

Miraculous Rant

Actually, you know what, while im still mad from the previous post I made, lets go off on a rant. No punches pulled. Lets do this.

The lovesquare is the most terrible ship in this fandom. One girl is a hyper obsessed stalker who tracks her crush with her planner for 3 whole seasons, while the boy couldn’t learn to take a hint and stop flirting for 3 whole seasons until he decided to move on with another girl. Ironically that makes them perfect for eachother, but its in a creepy kind of way, not a loving kind of way.

Adrigami and Lukanette in the S3 Finale were wasted events and never should have occured because they were immediately axed in the first few episodes of the next season. I feel sorry for those that were hoping their ships could be real for at least a short actual while, and it makes me want to curse the writers for their story-boner for the status quo of teases

Despite what I said earlier, none of the girls are good for Adrien. Marinette’s stalkery and a borderline yandere, Kagami’s somewhat controlling and too similar to Adrien help him grow as a person, Chloe is a queen bee beyotch and honestly too much like a sibling to Adrien, and Lila is garbage. Fuck it, have Luka date Adrien and they can play some sweet music together (not like that you pervs, I meant they both play instruments).

Nino needs more love. Not only that, but there needs to be more Adrien/Nino bro moments. If Marinette and Alya can have moments together, why not the bros?

Chloe’s character is a mess, and is neither redeemable, nor notably evil. Her role as a villain in season 1 is very hamfisted, such as in the episodes Mr Pigeon and Kung Food. Not only that, Chloe also lacks any of the qualities that makes a good “bully villain” or rival to Marinette, and her sympathetic moments (which are Written by Sebastien) are mostly overshadowed by the fact that Astruc wants her to be a bully, so it just makes her bipolar and confusing when her character is tugged between two writers.

Chloe should not have joined Hawkmoth in Miracle Queen, see my other post as to why I think so. TLDR, its kinda ooc  for her to go full on 2d villain like Hawkmoth especially after Miraculer, plus Lila was being build up to be the main antagonist of S3

Chloe got kicked from the Team in Miraculer because people know her identity? Fine. Kagami gets to be Ryuko again despite being known to Hawkmoth in Ikari Gozen? Not cool. Ladybug shouldn’t be a hypocrite and be willing to break her own rules just because “Kagami is my friend and Chloe’s not”. Same goes for her breaking the rule with secrect identities with Alya, only for her to go on and on about the rules to Chat when he pries.

Zoe is a bland character who’s only notable trait that she likes Marinette, which automatically makes her worthy of a miraculous after two episodes and no actual development.

Astruc is a petty frick who makes episodes that give the finger to fans of the show that have a different opinion than him. Queen Banana, Miracle Queen, and Reverser are good examples of this (Reverser did Nathaniel dirty).

Master Fu is a shit guardian. Read my post for more.

FRICK THE FEAST EPISODE. Not only did is ruin Fu as character, it ruined all the good theories as to why the order fell, and wasted the idea of a new villain being introduced or even taking over as the main antagonist! Speaking of Feast, despite the sentimonster destroying an order when he wasn’t even big, he still go beat by 2 kids even when he was supersized!

Marinette is not a good Guardian. Her ability to choose heroes does not make her capable, and just because “tradition is stupid” doesnt mean that Marinette shouldn’t be tested like others before her!

Despite the Kwami’s being ancient magical buildings, they seem to act like kids a lot, and that annoys me when in S1 they are supposed to apparently be mentors to their wielders, like how Tikki was before she was mentally de-aged.

Lila is trash and should be removed from the show. The only reasons her lies work is because the writers dumb down every other character in the show and ignore the fact the people have smartphones with google.

The “Miraculous” Ladybug spell should require both Ladybug and Chat Noir to cast, because not only does the power have nothing to do with creation, but it also “destroys” anything created by the akuma, which thematically makes no sense. Also it would place more emphasis on the two heroes being equals and “two halfs of the same coin”

On that note, Ladybug has too many powers. Not only is she the only one who can purify akumas, and can cast a spell that can fix Paris time and time again like its no one’s buisness, but she also now gets a new suit and the ability to nullify Hawkmoth’s akumas. Like COME ON! Give Chat some powers too.

Mayura’s feather’s shouldnt be able to be purified by Ladybug since they have no dark energy, and (thematically speaking) Chat should be given an ability that allows him to “vanquish” the energy in Mayura[’s feathers similar to how Ladybug can purify Hawkmoth’s akumas. At least it would develop a rivalry between Chat and Mayura, and would make Chat necassary against Shadowmoth rather than being replacable with any other hero.

The are too many temporary heroes. They should have just stuck with the 3 heroes from s2 and leave it at that. Sure, new heroes were cool, but the overuse has made the whole hero thing feel less special. It made sense for the first 3 to have them, but now it’s just like Oprah where everyone gets a miraculous. Except Gabe.

Chat Blanc was a stupid reason as to why secret identities cant be revealed, also Chat could have told LB who Hawkmoth once he returned back to normal was and the show would be over.

Hawkmoth should not be Gabriel. Frick the lore about Gabriel’s wife dying and him going evil to get her back, it makes the story feel too much like a star wars/Darth vader reference and leaves Gabriel acting bipolar, flipping from wanting to save his wife and doing this out of necessity to being a power hungry madman wanting to take over the world ( which is said in his canon music video). Having Hawkmoth be his own character means he can be an actual maniac who wants world domination and not just have villanous plot that rely on obtaining magical jewellery (perhaps doing other evil things/taking a more active role), while Gabriel being his own character means he can be a father that has become estranged from his son due to the lose of his S,O, and thus can have a plot about him reuniting with his son (I liked the end seen in Simon says, ok?)

On that same note, I think Mayura shouldn’t have been Nathalie. Considering Hawkmoth’s plans were repetitive as heck for most of the show, when I heard about the Mayura leaks back in Season 2 (when she was called “le Paon”) I was theorising that Mayura would actually being Hawkmoth’s boss, the villain the was responsible for giving him his Miraculous and the one who destroyed the Order of the Miraculous, and would take over as the main villain in season 3 due to Hawkmoth’s failures. However, that turned out not to be the case.

Not only that, but Mayuras power is a copy paste power with some modifications to make it complement Hawkmoth’s power, by basically giving his akuma’s magic pokemon.

Speaking of Hawkmoth’s power, for a miraculous that is supposed to be used for good, how can his power mind control people and make them become evil? More importantly, for a miraculous that is supposedly weaker than the main heroes of the show, having it be able to multiply and posses people to create an army is kinda strong.

Fuck the Maribat ship that the salt fandom came up with. Its trash, it was made to bash most of the Miraculous cast sans Marinette, and anyone thinks it is good are either those same salters or are the same people who think that Rey-lo and the Twilight Saga are masterpieces of romance.

Just Another Class Trip :) Part 5

If you don’t get to fight Batman on your class trips I feel sorry for you because Marinette did and she had a great time. Besides from the fact the miracle box went missing that was kind of a downer.

“Marinette Dupain-Cheng!” Chloe yells at her, Marinette pops her head up through the trash, “Just what do you think you’re doing?!”

“I’m looking for something Chlo,” Marinette tries not to betray the panic in her voice.

“You did not ditch us today to search the trash!” Chloe practically screeches, stomping her foot.

“Chloe! I just really, really need to find this ok?!” Chloe actually recoils at Marinette snapping at her, guilt claws at her, adding more scratches to her conscience, “Sorry, I’m just stressed,”

“You need to relax Mari,” Chloe sighs, she cant, she cant! She cant! “I will only forgive you if you come upstairs and have a shower right now ,”

Marinette glances to Tikki, who nods. They’ve searched the trash here three times over, the Miracle box isn’t here. She lets Chloe lead her upstairs, the ground feels like it's swaying under her feet. The pressure like she’s about to vomit has persisted for hours.

“I will be standing right here, so don’t even think about leaving before you are rid of that smell,” Chloe pushes her into the bathroom.

“Tikki what am I supposed to do,” Marinette curls into herself, as soon as the door closes “I looked everywhere, it-it’s gone ,”

“It’s alright Marinette I’m sure you’ll find it, you just need to think things through,” Tikki pats her arm, not blaming her even once, making everything so much worse.

“Exactly, so chin up,” Kaalki commands, Marinette listens looking at the hovering Kwami with swimming vision, “Now make a theory and we’ll work from there,”

“Only Adrien was in the apartment but he didn’t take it,” Marinette works through her thoughts, “I know he wouldn't have,”

“Good,”

“He was gone for two hours talking with Chloe and Kagami,”

“Exactly,”

“So someone stole it during that time,” Marinette had already concluded that but it was nice to lay it all out, “I thought it was Lila, but she would have just thrown it out,”

“Or,”

“Or kept it,” Marinette gets the picture, formulating a plan, “I have to search her room, as Starling they can get away with it,”

“Good I’ll transport you in there,” Kaalki nods, dipping into her bag to get a sugar cube, “Now change,”

Marinette listens and within minutes they are in Lila's room. The shower running back in Chloe's room. Starling pokes around the room, searching under the bed and in the closet. She spreads out to the whole apartment since Lila isn’t sharing with anyone.

She is opening the oven when the door opens. She freezes, coming eye to eye with Lila. In a split second Starling darts into the bathroom.

“Come out of there!” Lila bangs on the door, “Who are you! I’m calling the police!”

Marinette doesn't give her the chance, teleporting out of the bathroom.

Chloe fights to make her come to dinner that night. Marinette doesn't have the strength to argue and so is dragged along, glaring at Lila from across the table. Lila just looks smugly back, she has to know where the Miracle box is, she just has to.

“Is that the new Wayne?” Marinette hears someone across the restaurant whisper.

Wonder who they’re talking about

“The one with the pink scarf?”

“Take a picture!”

If Marinette could summon the energy she would go over and ask what they meant. Or tell them they had the wrong person. Instead she just hides her face in her arms, lying on the table.

“Head off the table,” Madame Bustier chides, Marinette listens, but doesnt bother answering.

“Oh Marinette,” Lila’s voice is so grating she is ready to send her head through the table, “You look just terrible, what happened?”

“Are you ok Marinette,” Rose asks, she was actually nice to Marinette either unaware of the divide or not caring, “Do you want to go back?”

Marinette supposes Lila never had to lie about her to Rose. As she was already running around after Lila trying to make sure she was comfortable, Marinette just fell by the wayside. Either way Marinette can see that changing in the near future with how livid Lila looks that Marinette got the slightest bit of positive attention.

“I know jetlag can be bad, with all my travels,” Could you get to the part where you antagonise me already? “But don’t you think you’re being a bit dramatic?

“Sure Lila,” Marinette sighs, actually getting a few shocked gasps from the class.

They all probably thought that if Lila said the sky was blue Marinette would disagree. Well she would probably double check. Plus the sky is black at night. And multicoloured during sunrise and sunset. You know what? Screw it, Marinette would not trust Lila if she said the sky is blue.

“So Lila,” Alya speaks up, “ What's the worst jet lag you’ve ever had?”

“Well..”

Marinette doesn’t bother listening. She does get the side eye from Alya.

However it does allow her to lean against Kagami for the rest of the night and doze off. Marinette doesn't pay anymore attention to Lila’s lies the rest of the night until it comes to getting back to the hotel. They are all piling into taxis when Lila weasels her way into getting her own. Covertly Marinette slides a hundred to the driver and sends them to a less than savoury part of town. Now it’s just up to Starling to keep up.

Luckily for her Lila decides to be an idiot, and actually gets out of the car. So Starling drops in front of her when the taxi drives off.

“You!” Lila backs up into the alley, really ?

“You stole something,” Starling stalks forward, appearing every bit of threatening as a sleep deprived guardian of the miraculous can be, which is pretty fucken scary when the Miracle box is on the line, “Where is it!”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Lila tears up.

“Do not lie to me ,” Starling punctuates the threat by bending a discarded metal pipe in half.

Lila squeaks, as she backs up against the wall, Starling cages her in.

“WHERE IS IT!”

The absolute terror on Lila’s face is so gratifying for a moment. Then a cold terror runs down Marinette as Lila smiles. The same smile that promises to ruin her life every day.

“Help!” Lila cries, her voice quavering in a poor imitation of the actual fear she just saw, “Please anyone!”

Anyone turns out to be the hand on her shoulder that rips Starling back. They go to grab her arm but she flips out of their grasp, getting enough distance to come face to face with The Batman!

Before she can even think about formulating a response Batman lashes out, going straight for her gut. Starling side steps, twisting around to stand in Batman’s blind spot, making him turn to see her.

“Why are you attacking a civilian?” He demands, a knife she dodges barely grazing her cheek.

“She stole something,” Marinette drops down as he swings a punch at her head.

“That’s not true!” Lila cries, huddled up against the wall, “They broke into my hotel room today! And then they attacked me! They’re trying to kidnap me!”

“She’s lying!” Apparently that’s not convincing enough as she dodges a kick, having to roll away, thankfully towards the exit.

She tries to make a run for it, getting halfway up the fire escape of the next building when a Batarang pins her cape down. She tears it out, throwing it back at the shadow who hangs in midair.

Wow that is not aerodynamic at all

She watches as it tapers off to the side, falling to the ground. Batman swings onto the staircase of the fire escape. She dodges, she slips on a stair, losing her balance. Batman aims a punch for her sternum she has no choice but to block. It hurts getting an armoured glove full impact onto her relatively light arm guards. In her defense she never prepared to fight The Batman.

He seems to be taken aback that she is able to block his punch, or is re-planning. She takes the opportunity to use her bit of super strength to push him off the fire escape, double checking he still has his grappling hook. He falls down as she bolts up the stairs. By the time she reaches the top he is already on the roof

She has no weapons to defend herself against another Batarang. She can’t slip away like she did last time so has no choice but to dodge.

“I don’t want to fight you!” She yells, rolling out of the way of another Batarang.

“I’m sure you don’t,”

“Not like that!” There's no reasoning with him then, he made up his mind and is going to beat her before asking any questions, “You know what never mind!”

She sprints to the edge of the building. He doesn’t particularly try to stop her, after all he thinks she has no escape route. Which means he was not expecting her to jump right off the building.

“Kaalki, Full gallop,” She says quietly to her Kwami, putting on her glasses.

She transforms, opening a portal inches from the ground, she lands in her hotel bedroom. Dropping the transformation, she collapses onto the bed. She pants lungs burning, soon she realises she hasn't been taking any air.

What does she have to be stressed about? So she lost the Miracle box, an ancient treasure able to harness the gods? So it was all her fault for shirking off her duties for fun. So it was all her fault that she technically attacked a civilian without any proof. So it was her fault Batman attacked her and she’s probably a criminal now. So what?

She chokes around words, apologies to her Kwamis, to Master Fu, to everyone she has failed today. Instead her vision blurs and she has to take gasping breaths, shuddering in the warm room. She curls up on top of the blankets tucked in too tight to provide her with comfort. Too perfect, too well done, everything she isn’t.

Tikki nuzzles into her cheek, Marinette shudders out a breath, curling more into herself. Kaalki comes to rest near her heart. The magical thrum of the Kwami calming her heart beat. There are no words. There don’t need to be. There’s no one here to send Akuma after them. For once Marinette can cry, let her emotions run rampant. Then she’ll harness everything she has into protecting the Miracle box.

• Percy, Harry, and Marinette have been internet friends since Mari first received her miraculous.

• The boys are one year older than Mari. So they were 14 and she was 13. So start of Titans Curse, and the Goblet of Fire. This is set during the summer. Before Percy heads for camp, he convinced one of the Hephaestus kids to make him a phone to keep in contact. When Harry returns to school he finds the room of requirements amd finds out his laptop works in there.

• They meet on Mari's vlog where she is complaining about how the adults in her life always let her down.

• Harry agrees whole heartedly Percy says the only person that doesnt let him down is his mom.

• Soon they are best friends and always in contact with they others, Sally and Paul meet them after summer is over and gain two more kids.

• They all tell each other their secrets and try to help each other the best they can.

• They become Instagram famous together and are seen as a trio always posting screen shots of them video chatting.

• Percy and Mari are helping and supporting Harry through everything that happens while he is at Hogwarts.

• Around this time Lila comes into the picture, at first the boys encourage her to fight back. However after she sends them screenshots from her 'friends' they encourage her to drop them all together.

• Mari distances herself from the class and focuses on learning more from Master Fu, while also growing her clientele. She goes from Jagged and Clara, to multiple celebrities from all over. She even designs for some youtubers. She meets the Wayne's when they commission her for one of their galas. She hits it off with Tim when she chugs a pot of coffee infront of him before doing his final fitting.

• Percy takes a quick trip to Gotham once the Wayne's return and interrogates/threatens Tim about Mari.

• Mari and Tim's friendship continues to grow as they text and call all the time.

• Harry and Percy support Marinette when she becomes the Grand Guardian. Percy asks Chiron about the Miraculous and discovers multiple books on them. He convinces Annabeth to copy them and has Hermes send them to Mari. While Harry finds a former Guardian in Knockturn Alley and informs her of the new Grand Guardian he gets Mari the potions she needs for the Kwami.

• Percy and Mari in courage Harry to discover more about his family and to start at Gringotts. Harry discovers his families position in the wizarding word, and how much has been kept from him.

• Harry and Mari encourage Percy to learn even more about his powers. Soon he has control of small storms and has learned how to travel in an instant through mist.

• Harry becomes emancipated at 15 and takes over Lordship of Potter and Ravenclaw. He was surprised to find out his mother was actually adopted into the Evan's family after her parents were killed. Petunia didnt know she was adopted.

• After Kronos is defeated they make plans to finally meet up, boys are 16, Mari 15, they agree on Paris because Mari doesn't feel comfortable leaving her city in case of attack. They meet up a few weeks before school is set to start for Percy and Mari.

• Harry floos to his family home in Paris and opens the wards before messaging Percy saying it safe. Percy mist travels in to his house and immediately drops his bags hugging Harry tightly. Before they both hurry off to the Bakery.

• Mari's parents are very nice and loving but they expect their daughter to be an adult and handle things without them.

• They are surprised when two boys rush into the bakery and their daughter squeals throwing herself at them in a hug. Completely ignoring Alya, Adrien, and Nino.

• Mari completely ignores her old friends refusing to even let go of her boys. She quickly introduces them to her parents before dragging them up to her room.

• For a short while they just pile on to her bed cuddling together happy to be with each other in person than through a video call. After half an hour they finally get up and let Mari pack a small bag.

• She says goodbye to her parents telling them shes going to be spending the night at a friends before they all hurry to Harry's house. Once Mari puts her bag in the living room they change into fancy clothes and head off for dinner reservations at Le Grand Paris.

• They enjoy a quiet dinner together and while they're eating dessert Chloe comes to their table to say hello to Mari. She warns Mari that their class plans on ambushing her at her parents bakery to guilt her into catering their end of summer party, because Lila's baker fell through.

• All four of them laugh at it and Mari pulls out her phone sending her mother a quick message. Telling her to not give her class a thing unless they pay.

• After Harry pays much to Mari and Percy's annoyance they say goodbye to Chloe and leave the restaurant. While walking back to Harry's they are all hugging each other. Mari is in the middle and Percy and Harry's arms are around her wasit and she has hers around them. Lila sees them passing and is quick to take multiple pictures.

• The next day she has the entire class convinced that the three are in a relationship. Lila also convinces them that Mari pushed her down and the boys threatened her.

• Alya is akumatized through her anger, Paris is surprised when two new heros join Ladybug.

• The two new heros are Anaklusmos, Percy using Kaalki because once Kaalki saw Percy he knew that he was the son of his favorite God, and Chimaera. Harry using Ziggy.

• Percy's hero outfit consisted of tight black pants and a long sleeve black shirt. Underneath a dark brown breastplate and greaves. His hair was slightly longer and even wilder than usual and sunglasses hid his eyes from the world. His weapon is a sword.

• Harry's hero outfit was black and white. He wore a white sweater with black assents, black jeans, and the outer coat to battle robes that was black on the outside and white on the inside. He has a mask in which one side is black and the other white. His miraculous transform into small goat horns when in use. His weapon is a staff, because he is a wizard he is able to use the staff as a wand, and it is untraceable.

• Ziggys transformation phrase Ziggy lets climb. Ziggy lets rest.

• Kaalkis transformation phrase Kaalki lets gallop. Kaalki halt.

• Ziggy will be the miraculous of terrian. Harry will be able to use unbreakable vines to either hold akuma or stop larging things from falling.

• They are quick to defeat Alya taking her down before Chat even finds a place to transform.

• Once defeated the trio returns to where they were relaxing along the Seine. Both Mari and Percy giggle at Harry who readjusts his new hair clips blushing slightly. While Percy simply pushes the glasses up to rest on the top of his head.

• They get lunch before Percy mist travels all three of them to Disneyland, where Mari pays for them all to get in.

• There first picture together at Disney is post on each of their Instagrams and their fans go wild after realizing the trio finally met in person. Soon their Instas are filled with different pictures of all of them.

• Meanwhile Alya is blowing up Mari's Insta demanding answers as the class is on the way to the bakery. They try to convince Tom and Sabine to cater but are brushed off by them. The class is upset and demands answers and are not happy to be told that they wont cater because Marinette isn't going to the party and asked them not to.

• The trio finish the night with a picture of them hugging with fireworks in the back. Percy is wearing little mermaid ears, Mari is wearing Ladybug ears, and Harry is wearing sorcerer mickey ears.

• They spend the entire week together and Mari introduces them to her friends in Paris with a promise of coming to their home countries to meet their friends and family next time.

• When Percy and Harry are set to leave they have a long conversation with Kaalki and Ziggy and decide to allow the two Kwamis to stay with their holders. Kaalki is very attached to his new foal and wishes to remain with his chosen. Ziggy is also attached to her kid and wishes to help Harry in anyway possible. Percy and Harry not just swear to protect their Kwamis, they agree to start a new Order of the Guardians. Mari agrees and soon they are planning lessons so she can teach them the language of the Guardians.

• When Harry returns to England he seeks out the former Guardian and infroms her they are starting a new order. The former Guardian takes Harry under her wing and teaches him things, which he teqches Percy and Mari inturn.

• The trio is happy until one day when instead of Percy answering the call its a crying Sally. Sally explains that Percy went missing and no one was able to find him. On top of that Olympus is on lock down.

• Mari and Harry go months without a word from Percy and everyone around them notices their drop. Tim flies out to Paris more often just to keep Mari company when he can. While Harry closes himself off from everyone but Mari.

• A full year passes and in that time Mari has stripped Chat of his miraculous and found a temporary holder in her friend Marc. Harry watched Dumbledore die and is getting ready to fall into hiding, when they finally hear from Percy who had just won his second war.

• The entire time Percy is asleep Kaalki is protecting him and when he wakes up Kaalki informs him of his name and tells him some of his past. Kaalki doesnt have to stay hidden around the demigods because Kaalki is a god himself and the demigods know this. Many Romans are surprised to see Kaalki never leaves Percy's side.

• At first Percy wants to immediately alert his friends but he can barelt find the time and o ly managers to tell his mother that he is alright.

• When the war is over he wastes no time traveling to England and tackling Harry in a hug before taking both of them to Paris. He leaves so fast her doesnt even return to Olympus for the rewards. So in the middle of their hugs and tears Zues/Jupiter transports them to Olympus. Right after he has to deal with a very pissed of Kwami of creation. Everyone watches Tikki tear into Zues while Mari Harry and Percy simply sit in front of Posiden's throne hugging each other tightly.

• For Percy's wish he once again turns down godhood and requests that the roman and greek camps to work together, and makes a personal request to Hecate for both he and Mari to be given Magic. Hecate agrees under the condition that Percy helps Harry take down Tom Riddle and that Mari helps once she is done with Hawkmoth. Posiden pulls them aside and informs Mari that Gabriel is Hawkmoth Nathalie is Mayrua. Once they are done Percy introduces Mari and Harry to the 7 and his cousins before they head off to meet Sally and Paul in person.

• After meeting Sally all three head to Gotham and meet with the Waynes and Mari and the boys find it funny that the only people that knew of Mari and Tim were Bruce and Alfred.

• Mari tells Tim the complete truth and how within the next few months she may die. Tim takes it and in turn tells her about him being Red Robin, then asks her to marry him. She agrees and they have a wedding at Wayne manor the next day.

• Harry meets Kara and his attention is stolen by the blonde. They gets along amazingly and exchange phone numbers. Harry even introduces her to Ziggy who also likes Kara. What really causes Harry to fall for her is when she wraps her arms around his waist and flies up into the air. Both of them bonding over their love of flying while Harry tries to stop out his blush over he lifting him like it was nothing.

• Percy returns to England with Harry and they go in the hunt together while Mari takes a final stance against Hawkmoth.

• Mari defeats Hawkmoth and Mayura unmasking them on national tv right before the battle of hogwarts happens. Once she is done she infroms her parents that she finished her last year of Lycée online and was traveling to England.

• Mari arrives in England after Percy and Harry sneak into Hogwarts. With the help of Tikki she finds her way to Hogwarts and finds her boys.

• Mari is heartbroken when Harry says goodbye to Ziggy and places one hair clip in Maris hair and the other in Percys. He tells them how much he loved them and asked them to say goodbye to Kara for him.

• Percy forces himself to stay strong but breaks when he sees Hagrid carrying Harry's body. While Harry jumps up both Mari and Percy are crying as they fight harder.

• The next day on the front page of the Prophet theres a picture of the three of them in the great hall after the battle curled together and hugging each other.

• After the war the trio goes to Gringotts and Harry has Percy and Mari officially adopted into the potter family before they return to Gotham. Mari and Tim had a bigger wedding for the public announcing to Gotham that they were married. It became known as the wedding of the century because both of them wanted to keep the Wayne families persona. Marinette drops Dupain-Cheng and becomes Marinette Potter-Drake-Wayne.

• Percy walks her down the aisle before sitting down and Harry is standing as her 'maid of honor' Percy takes Annabeth as his date and Harry takes Kara.

• After their honeymoon traveling the world Percy and Harry reveal that they both moved to Gotham. Both are going to catch up on their school work and then go to college. Meanwhile Percy begins campaigning for a cleaner Gotham. He uses a Sanddollar to clean the waters and instructed the Water nymphs to immediately alert him if someone attempts to dump. That when Gotham gains a new hero Anaklusmos. A few months later Chimaera and Ladybird join the scene as well. They focus more on the petty crimes and keeping the city cleaner while the Bat fam focus on the really bad guys.

• Mari joins with Wayne Enterprises and grows her own Fashion empire, while Percy gets his degree in marine biology and Harry in teaching.

• A few years later Mari has all but forgotten about her old class until she takes a trip to Pairs with time to visit her parents and Chloe and they find a class reunion at Le Grand Paris. Lila and Alya try and put Mari down, and are surprised when she laughs. She kisses Tim cheek softly before turning to them, and introduces herself and Tim. Leaving the entire class in shock. They watch Mari walking away with Tim as Chloe walks through the doors to them a bounce in her step.

What if in origins, Master Fu still gave Marinette the Ladybug miraculous. But gave Adrien a different one, like the Bee or The Fox?

I mean even if he didn't know the intentions of Hawkmoth in the beginning. It would stand to reason the he could potentially want to combine the Miraculous for the wish. So it would've made more sense to not have both out.

I mean obviously they need Ladybug's to purify akumas and reverse damages.. but.. it probably would've been safer to give Adrien a different one in Origins.

So I thought about this carefully,

What Miraculous would Fu have given Adrien if it wasnt the cat.

The Answer?

Probably the Bee or the Tiger.

While Adrien is good at protecting, I dont think that Fu would give up his kwami BFF.

As for Illusions, Adrien is Clever but he would make very straight forward illusions.

The Bee is pretty close to what Adrien would use, and out of the original, would make the most sense for him to have outside of the cat miraculous.

Plus, if he had the bee miraculous, Pollen could have went out to stun Style queen. Ladybug wouldnt have lost the miraculous and Hawkmoth would have given up there and then.

Then there is the tiger

But the closest Miraculous to Chat noir's is the Tiger.

With Collision, it is the most fitting in terms of direct destructive power.

But as stated in canon, only the cat miraculous can break other miraculous.

So Queen wasp would win regardless of attempts UNLESS Fu let the Cat out of the box. Which then erases the whole point of the cat miraculous being out.

But here is the truth, the cat's miraculous is arguably the most versatile but also is easy to compensate for in most scenarios.

Cataclysm does 3 things

Destroys, causes things to go haywire, or stops (via breaking)

There are 3 miraculous that do similar, but can only do one

Tiger: Collision/Breaking

Bee: Venom/Stunning

Monkey: Uproar/ Haywire

Its possible that Hawkmoth will assume that the cat miraculous isnt in Paris. But he didnt even know the guardian was a thing until season 2.

Its possible he might give up OR try to make akuma to specifically draw out a cat miraculous.

But that is speculation.

In season 1, its possible that there are some changes based on which miraculous Adrien recieves.

I assume almost none if he has the tiger. Roarr seems pretty chaotic and would likely be just as encouraging to Adrien's rebelious phase (if not MORE so)

As for Pollen, She might be a bit more respectful of authority, but Adrien would likely just be a bit more responsible which doesnt move the plot much.

Maybe I can do seperate what ifs for either, but regardless i dont see much changing

HC: what if Su-Han went after Fu to like, berate him and stuff? He struck me as the type who would go out of his way to yell at a guy bc he can. Like, either just before he tries to get the Miracle Box he makes a stop by Fu and Marianne's place to be a dick (and gives the couple a chance to shoot Mari and the team a heads up message about the incoming asshole), or he plans on going to bitch at Fu after and mentions this to Mari and the team and gives them a chance to be all 'hey, they guy made mistakes and wasn't the best mentor, but maybe of you guys had been better mentors to him and like, didn't use child abuse as a training method, none of this would have happened in the first place, so maybe do some soul searching before you go yell at an old man trying to enjoy retirement!'

I was never a fan of Fu, but Su-Han grinds my gears in a way that makes me like Fu by comparison.

Tbh he would but he has no idea how to locate Fu and like fuck is Marinette handing out his new address.

Seriously though while I've been salty at Fu in the past he's better than Su-Han because like.

Despite his mistakes, Fu mostly had a reason for this sort of thing. Usually it was a paranoid "the less people know the better" reasoning. So while he made choices that fucked over LB, CN, and even himself in many ways, I could at least see where he was coming from in terms of decision making.

I still disagree with said decesions, but I understand. Especially because Fu was sympathetic to the situation. I make jokes on him not caring about CN but he was pretty "I understand this isn't the best situation but for the safety of the Miraculous it has to be this way. I will do what little I can without risking too much". He also is a bit easier to learn that he might be wrong about things.

Su-Han shows up and his reasons for doing what he's doing are a bunch of arbitrary rules. It's not about protectjng the Miraculous, other than "if they're in the Temple they can't be used for evil". It's just... Rules and control for thr sake of trying to contain things beyond his understanding.

Su-Han doesn't give a shit about the Kwami, seeing them as tools. He doesn't care that Ladybug and Chat Noir are protecting Paris and that he should probably find Hawkmoth first before getting rid of these two. He doesn't even fucking care that giving up the Miracle Box will erase Marinette's memories!!! I bet your ass that if Mari didn't already know he wouldn't have told her! Bullshit!

Fucker also sees an actual fight going on and just goes "eh. Not my problem. I'm here to collect the Miraculous, not deal with the Akuma problem. It doesnt matter to me if you lose. Just makes it easier to get your Miraculous away from Hawkmoth instead."

Idea (Yee another one)

Soulmate AU where the two (or more) souls connected romantically share each other’s injuries. Ex: Person A runs into a table and person B wakes up with a bruise, but they spilt the pain evenly, so it might just sting for the two of them instead of hurting badly for one person. (Broken bone would resolve to the pain of a bruise for both)

Interesting to explore as a Jasonette or Joninette fic

Jasonette Verision:

Marinette wakes up with bruises and sometimes even broken bones (this can occur if Jason gets seriously hurt)

Jason wakes up with bruises sometimes, mostly just things that would show up for somebody clumsy.

When Jason is being beaten by Joker Marinette is in class, she’s holding on for dear life but she ends up passing out.

Both Jason and Marinette die

When Jason is brought back by the Lazarus pit Marinette comes back to life as well.

Because she was the guardian when she died nobody took her miraculous off her, so she had it when she “woke up”

Tikki was able to help her get out of her coffin and stuff because kwamis don’t die and they can phase through objects (obvi)

Marinette has a fury burning inside her because Jason’s emotional pain bled onto her when she was revived

Marinette hides away so no one knows she’s alive again

She becomes Ladybug once more and Hawkmoth became active again when he realized the miraculous was back into circulation (which causes Adrien to be active again)

Marinette has major bloodlust as Ladybug (thanks to Jason) and she finds out who Hawkmoth is and brutally beats him, Chat stops her from killing him.

Chat falls out of love with her, she was never the same when she came back

With Hawkmoth defeated and the butterfly miraculous back in her hands, Marinette knows she must leave Paris or else somebody would find out she was alive (she can’t have that happen, it was a miracle nobody realized she was Ladybug when she died, that would seal the deal if Ladybug was active the same time Marinette came back, besides she didn’t even know how she came back)

Fate brings her to Gotham, since she has all the miraculouses she has Kaaliki open a portal to somewhere in America, far away from France

Jason is in his angsty Red Hood Phase when Mari arrives

Red Hood protects her when some idiots tried to rape her (his strict moral code that women should not be taken advantage of, etc. etc)

He realizes that she’s his soulmate because she when the idiots hurt her he gets hurt in the same place

He starts to keep tabs on her

Marinette goes to Gotham University

Jason enrolls too (he protecc)

Less blood and angst in this version, they meet when Mari visits her uncle in Metropolis for a month in the summer (Hawkmoth is defeated, but she still wields the LB miraculous) (spoiler alert her uncle be Lex Luthor and the Light knows about miraculouses and reallllly wants them, and of course he knows LB is his niece he’s not blind)

Jon runs into her first as Superboy, they both get crushes on each other

Lex realizes he won’t be able to get her miraculous in the span of a month (this things take delicate time and care)

Lex offers for her to stay with him when school starts up so Mari can go to an American high school (thinking she’d either be a junior or a senior here)

Mari and Jon meet at Metropolis High and Mari finds Jon a great friend but Jon still crushes on her (obvi she doesn’t know he’s Superboy)

When Clark finds out his son’s new friend is Luthor’s niece (Jon doesn’t know but Clark finds out cuz reporter things) he basically forbids him to see her

Well that pisses Jon off cuz he doesn’t care who she’s related to.

When he starts to frequently visit as Superboy and they eventually start a relationship Lex be like “well I can use this to my advantage and kill two birds with one stone” (get rid of Superboy, get the miraculous)
