I've been listening to Taylor a lot recently (what else is new?) and prepping for the tour, and I decided to do some rankings, so anyway, here is my top 10 TS songs as well as all 10 of her albums ranked from least favorite to top favorite:
10. Blank Space
9. cardigan
8. Treacherous
7. champagne problems
6. Wildest Dreams
5. Sparks Fly
4. Would've, Could've, Should've
3. Lavender Haze
2. Anti-Hero
1. Don't Blame Me
All 10 TS albums ranked, keep in mind I love songs on all of these and don't think she ever really misses, but this is just my personal ranking based off of the overall vibes, how much I relate to the songs, the general sound, and which ones I find myself going back to most often:
Me when the narrator is an external entity with its own motivations and agendas and the script it makes you follow is not the one you are confined to but be well aware that all folly has its limits and all relationships might sour
drop the link on that fic of Zeus being a good dad?
Absolutely my friend!
As you can see, it's called Trials of Fatherhood by the lovely @z-eusie and in-between my agonies and right now, she's actually updated the fic and now the Apollo chapter is live!! Everyone should go read this fic, actually! It's a wonderful little compilation of moments that allow for showing both the ugliness and beauty of the gods when taken from a nuanced, compassionate perspective and it's always been one of my favourites to go back to every now and then just because of how fond I am of it. I'm especially fond of the Athena and Dionysus chapters myself but I hope everyone finds their favourite one. <33
"dean winchester only listens to music on cassette tapes or vinyl he would NEVER use an ipod or an mp3 player"
excuuuse me but season 2 dean has an lg chocolate cell phone (a phone that was SUPER popular in like 2006/07 and was advertised as being an mp3 player that's also a cell phone) AND he's literally shown in 2x13 houses of the holy listening to led zeppelin on it:
i think Sailor Moon's monsters tend to be more iconic than, for example, Precure monsters because you really can't go wrong with the hot lady+object/concept formula. like "cunty jigsaw puzzle catgirl" is just guaranteed to be a banger no matter what. but Precure monsters generally have to be large-scale and not humanoid because it's just better for the show's emphasis on physical combat and powerful punches and kicks -- you want to see those girls knock a modestly sized kaiju across a football field and you don't want the second graders in the audience to have to grapple with the implication of the Cures killing what seem to be sentient people, unless they're finishing off a midseason miniboss who is probably getting "purified" instead of killed anyway
Käärijä is ready to let cha cha cha go, I hope he can soon. Let Häärijä wear the yellow or green bolero, so that Käärijä can put more focus on his usual music, while also having the opportunity, time, and creative freedom to experiment to his heart's content. That way he can compartmentalize cha away into its folder, still perform it because it is the song that rocketed him into fame, and not grow to hate it.
part of the problem is that a lot of hugo's politics are really well thought out & considered & good but then some of them are like. entirely vibes-based to the point of feeling muddled & inconsistent & even straight up Bad sometimes. which is annoying
