college!sukuna masterlist
after almost a year of living together, you and college!sukuna are so accustomed to one another that you naturally slip up in the otherâs conversations. maybe it's because you're both homebodies, or maybe it's because you've reached the silent agreement to keep the activities you do with yuuji hidden to preserve his innocent childhood (you learned that rumors run a long way inside your campus), or maybe it's because you started to ask sukuna less private questions, since he now seems to want to answer them even before you formulate them.
either way, the two of you always mention the other in conversations, and you don't even seem to notice, but your friends do.
"how about your house, man?" suguru asks sukuna from across the table, sipping his soda. they're sitting outside with satoru for lunch break, slouching on white plastic chairs, waiting for practice to start in less than ten minutes. days are getting longer the more summer break gets nearer, and the breeze flowing through the newly green leaves of the trees is a nice change from the humid stench of the locker rooms.
"dunno. the woman of the house is gonna bake cookies today," he shrugs, scrolling through his phone. he finds himself on a blurry zoomed in photo of a kitten covered in milk, and he smirks, hitting send after having selected your contact. you're going to love it.
"and?" geto asks, confused.
"and i don't know if she wants me to help her or not," sukuna continues, not bothering to look up from his screen, acting like he's not going to pester you until you let him help. and steal some of your cookie batter, too.
"it's the finale, bro, we've been talking about it since december. are you really not going to watch it for some cookies?" his raven haired friend exclaims, baffled. satoru only lowers his glasses on his nose, crossing his arms on his chest.
"oh, i'm going to watch it. got her hooked up on it too," the pink haired man says, a certain tilt to his voice matching the tilt of his head, as if he's saying are you crazy? i'm not missing it. "i don't know if she'd want you there, though."
geto rolls his eyes and satoru snickers, shaking his head. "we just want to watch the game on your tv. are you afraid she's going to feel uncomfortable with us there, my lord captain?" he mocks, sighing. lazily, sukuna glances his way.
"it's not her i'm worried about," he says, raising one of his eyebrows, maroon eyes squinting on a spot behind his friend's back.
"what does that even mean?" mutters geto, even more confused. itâs not like theyâve never seen you or have never been inside your house when you were there, so whatâs different this time?
suddenly, sukuna grins like a madman, uncrossing his legs from on top of the table and standing up with his helmet under his arm.
âwhere are you goi-â his dark haired friend starts, but satoru puts one of his hands on the otherâs shoulder, effectively stopping him, whispering just wait.
sukuna takes a couple of steps, getting out of the gentle shadows of the trees above the table, still grinning.
âhi, baby. did you miss me so much you had to come to see me at practice?â he asks your nearing figure. youâre wearing a dress, the breeze soothingly flowing through your hair, and he takes a second to admire how graceful you look in the middle of the green garden. are the flowers you picked with yuuji the other day still fresh? maybe he should get more. maybe youâd like that. maybe youâd smile. maybe you'd thank him.
âiâm here because i knew you were never going to bring sunscreen with you, dickhead,â you huff, blowing your hair out of your vision, frowning. his grin only grows before he forces it away. typical.
âi donât need that shit,â he rolls his eyes, turning on his heels and going towards the stadium. he knows youâre going to follow him. and you do.
âput it on! iâm not joking, sukuna,â you whine, trying to fall in step with him. âitâs going to be so good for your skin, come on.â
âitâs sticky and i donât like feeling like a pussy,â he growls, going faster toward the benches inside the stadium and plopping down on them.
âyou like pussy, though,â you shrug, forcing yourself between his parted legs, rummaging through your bag.
âi like you too, baby, but that doesnât mean youâll let me stick it in your pussy, does it,â he asks you smugly. you punch him on the shoulder, bewildered.
âyouâre so disgusting,â you scoff, opening the little spf tube you brought in your purse just for him. "and don't tell me you like me when you never listen to me in the first place," you playfully add, caressing his face to smooth it out, and he lets you get his unruly hair off of his forehead. maybe he likes how you don't take the things he says to heart. maybe he just says them because he knows he's getting a snarky comment back.
âyou didnât say no, though,â he chuckles, closing his eyes and letting himself bask in your presence. your touch on his features is relaxing. he honestly thinks he could fall asleep if you were in any other setting.
âiâm letting you talk just because iâm in a male dominated field and even if i donât agree i donât want to die,â you deadpan. you smear the white cream on his nose, on top of the horizontal tattoo, and massage it into his skin. then you do the same thing with his other markings, making sure theyâre protected enough to shimmer in the blazing hot sun.
âi wouldnât let you die on me anyway,â he mutters. he gets both of his hands on your exposed thighs, keeping you closer, softly rubbing his thumbs in your muscles. "are you fucking finished? i hate this," he bites, frowning. you hum, lazily smiling down at him, rubbing his frown away with your fingertips.
"you're going to be the prettiest girl on the field," you coo. you can feel his mean glare from beneath his eyelids, and you almost shiver. "you're so going to thank me in a couple of years," you add, resting your palms on his cheeks and turning his head up. he opens his eyes slowly, staring into yours intently. his thumb catches on the fluttering hem of you dress while he draws little circles on your legs. he hears his coach screaming for his team to start running, but in this moment, he doesn't care that much. maybe the heat is getting to his head. maybe the soft smile you're looking at him with is making him a little bit weak in the knees.
"wanna make cookies today? we can watch the match together, perhaps ask the brat if he wants to join too," he says, rough voice kept low, almost as if this was a you and him kind of thing. maybe he already planned to ask you to do something with him when he was talking to his friends just a couple of minutes ago. maybe he lied, telling them you were the one who chose to do something, when it's not true. maybe the way satoru is patting suguru on the back with an "i told you so" look on his face isn't casual. maybe the one he was worried about all along was himself.
"wouldn't you prefer to watch it with your friends?" you ask him, tilting your head, positioning your thumbs on the fake tattoos on his cheekbones. almost as if you could cover their pupils and make him see less.
"wouldn't you prefer to watch it with me?" he genuinely responds, a somber look on his features. you think it's the first time he doesn't have a mocking grin on his lips. you ruffle the pink hair just above his left ear.
"maybe."

Sorry to Meet You
Carlisle Cullen x Reader
Summary: The moral dilemma of the patriarch of the Cullen clan finally meeting his mate after 350 years.Â
Warnings: Angst, death, blood, accident, surgery, not betaâd, turning, grief
Word Count: 5.8k (sorry, I got a little carried away and Iâm getting used to writing one shots again)
Masterlist
I rounded the corner within the halls of my fatherâs hospital, heading towards his oh so familiar office. I Â had spent a good portion of my childhood playing in the office halls of the hospital so as to not get in the way of an emergency. Every take your child to work day, every early dismissal, random day off from school, and every weekend he had to work and couldnât find someone to watch me, he brought me here up until I was about 12.
Now I was in college, studying biology as a pre-med student at Johns Hopkins University. But today I was returning to Forks for my summer vacation in between my freshman and sophomore year. He was supposed to pick me up from the airport tomorrow but I had wanted to surprise him at work so I left a day early.
Reaching the door to his office, I entered. Embarrassingly, I had been so eager I hadnât even checked if he was busy. As the door swung open I was met with the golden hair and eyes of the most gorgeous man I had ever seen. Given his youth I assumed he was a student or a resident but one look at his badge told me he was an attending.
âY/N? What are you doing here?â my fatherâs voice broke me from my trance.
âHi!â I smiled at my father, ripping myself from the mystery manâs enchanting gaze. âI wanted to surprise you,â I explained, returning his hug. âI was so excited I didnât even consider that you were busy. Sorry,â I apologized to both men.
âDonât be,â the blond said in an almost melodic voice. âTrust me I understand the importance of family.â
âYeah Dr. Cullenâs kids are here all the time,â my father laughed.
âThis guy has kids?â I thought. âPlural? He looks no older than 25.â
Seemingly reading the confusion on my face he explained. âAdopted kids. My sister and I were foster kids so we always agreed weâd adopt as many as possible. So far weâve adopted five teenagers, hoping to give them a new shot at life.â
âWow,â was all I said, unsure of how to react. âWell this guy was definitely out,â I noted to myself. âNot only is he your fatherâs colleague, he had five teenagers.â âWell I should let you get back to it,â I said shyly, already backing out of my fatherâs office, embarrassed. âIâll be at the house and weâll get dinner after?â I suggested to my father.
âSounds good. See you later sweetie,â he called after me.
~
Carlisle tried his hardest to focus on Dr. L/Nâs words but he couldnât, he was so focused on his colleagueâs daughter. When she entered the office he had sucked in a breath he didnât need. He had heard that some mate connections hit you like a brick but he hadnât seen it with anyone except presumably between Rosalie and Emmett when she demanded he save him.
So as soon as he was done with his meeting he hopped into his Mercedes and headed towards Dr. L/Nâs house. Once he reached it he found no cars in the driveway or any indication that there had been a car there recently, only wet footprints leading up to the porch and inside the door, presumably from Y/N getting out of a cab.
Continuing past the house he parked about half a mile away before running back to the house, a feat that only took him a couple seconds.
Taking a page from Edwardâs book he began creeping along the side of the house, trying to spot Y/N through a window. But when he couldnât find her he was forced to climb up some trees until he found her in what was presumably her bedroom, unpacking a suitcase full of clothes.
He watched, admiring the girl as she sorted through the clothes, tossing some in the laundry bin and others in piles to be sorted in the closet. He realized that he could watch her all day, admiring the quirks of her expression as she reacted to different situations. He hadnât understood the other Cullensâ obsessions with each other until now.
He continued to watch for hours. His eyes sometimes drifting to the delicate curves of her body but always scolding himself for thinking of her like that given that she didnât even really know him. But a small part of his mind whispered that sheâd be his one day.
He only left when he heard her fatherâs car approaching, swearing to come back to learn more about her so he could strike up a conversation about her favorite things the next time they âaccidentallyâ ran into each other.
~
The next time I visited the hospital wasnât just to visit my father, it was because I had managed to slip in a puddle, earning myself a gash on the forehead.
I was sat in the waiting room going on two hours with a blood soaked rag pressed to my forehead. I truly didnât mind waiting seeing as I knew there were far more injured people getting treated. But as I continued to wait I started to get more and more light headed. I began to make my way to the desk in hopes they could give me some answers when I got a head rush, stumbling into a very cold, hard chest.
âY/N?â I heard the melodic voice again. This time dripping with concern. âWhat happened?â
âOh nothing,â I dismissed, reluctantly pulling away from the grasp he had on my arms. âJust slipped in a puddle and my head kind of ate it,â I chuckled.
âHow long have you been here?â he asked, more concern ebbing into his voice.
âI donât know about two hours?â I shrugged, trying to not make a big deal of it. âPlease donât tell my dad, heâll just get all concerned and angry and wonder why I wasnât immediately treated.â
Inside, Carlisle was already feeling all those things I just described. âWell you shouldnât have to sit there for two hours, bleeding out of your head. You shouldâve been brought for a CT. Câmon, canât have Dr. L/Nâs daughter bleeding out in the waiting room.â
I smiled shyly as I felt his strong, cold hand be gently placed on my lower back as he guided me towards an exam room.
~
All throughout the exam Carlisle had to hold his breath. He has excellent control, itâs what many believe to be his special ability and it allows him to do what he loves but Y/Nâs blood? The faintest smell alone made venom flood his mouth. And the blood soaked rag along with the fact that he had to bandage up her forehead didnât help.
âOkay, that should do it,â he smiled, thankfully pulling back from his mate as he finished taping a bandage onto her head. âYouâll have to keep it bandaged for a couple days but your father should be able to help with that. And you most likely wonât scar.â
She breathed a sigh of relief. âThanks Dr. Cullen. I owe you one.â
He shook his head, breathing a laugh as he looked down at the girlâs chart. âPlease, Iâm happy to do it. And you can call me Carlisle.â
âCarlisle,â she repeated, nearly melting the vampire right there, âthatâs an interesting name, never heard it.â
âWell my parents were a bit old fashioned,â he explained. âSo your father tells me you finished your first year at Johns Hopkins? Thatâs very impressive.â
He admired her blush as she looked down at the ground. âThanks. I think I was the only one of my graduating class to go out of state.â
âYeah, Iâve figured out Forks is a very small town. Not many people leave,â he chuckled. âDo you know what you want to study?â
âUm Iâve always kind of wanted to be a surgeon. I know itâs the most difficult specialty but I enjoy the precision of it,â she shrugged.
Carlisle felt a sense of disappointment at the news that his mate wanted to be a surgeon. Being a doctor was hard enough as a vampire but having to literally cut people open? Even he didnât think heâd be able to focus surrounded by so much blood. He was already dreading having to tell her that she couldnât be a surgeon after she turned, not at least for decades while she learned control. He was suddenly snapped from his fantasies realizing that this human barely knew him and practically everything he knew about her came from his lurking outside her windows.
Dragging himself out of his thoughts which had no doubt created a long, awkward pause he spoke again. âYes, well if you made it to Johns Hopkins then Iâm sure you can do it.â
âThanks Doc- Carlisle,â Y/N corrected before standing up off the table and heading for the door.
As she exited, taking most of her intoxicating scent with her, Carlisle sucked in a breath he didnât need. As much as he hated watching his mate leave he needed a break from her blood. No one had tempted him the way Y/N L/N had, even when he was a starving newborn. And he realized that he would have to figure out a way to get close to her and get her to love him before he even told her about the mate bond. A difficult feat considering her fatherâs place as his colleague.
~
When Carlisle got home that evening he immediately went to his room, tipping off the family that something was different.
As he collapsed backwards onto his sofa he let his mind wander to his mate. He could picture her face so clearly, and more frighteningly he could still imagine the smell of her blood with eerie accuracy. He imagined all his future endeavors to keep her safe as a human. Heâd watch over her, always be within reach to step in when she needed. He pictured their love story. Itâd be slow and start with glances and fleeting touches until he invited her out to dinner once she became more comfortable with him. Heâd kiss her goodnight on the porch and then make sure she got into the safety of her home before leaving. Their relationship would develop from there with more dates, with Y/Nâs fatherâs approval of course. And when she uttered the words âI love you,â heâd tell her about him and his species because he knew he had earned her love. And as much as he didnât want to damn her to a life of hiding and being a monster, he couldnât help but imagine her turning. Heâd gently bite into the soft flesh of her throat, injecting his venom into her veins, cementing her as his forever. But the thought of hurting her and turning her into a monster made him hesitate.
As Carlisle continued to immerse himself in his fantasies, his sister entered. âCarlisle?â Esme called softly. âAre you okay?â
âYeah,â he agreed, sitting up. He wasnât sure whether or not to tell his family that he had met him mate, considering they were already dealing with the human mate to Edward, Bella, who they had just moved back to Forks for. Of course no secrets stayed secrets for long thanks to Edward and Aliceâs gifts. Edward could be counted on for discretion but Aliceâs overeager nature wouldnât allow that. He was surprised that Alice hadnât already planned a party but maybe she hadnât seen his mate in her visions yet. He had also wanted to keep her his own little secret for a while but clearly that wouldnât be happening so he relented. âI- uh met my true mate.â
Esmeâs eyes widened as she gasped. Of course living in a house full of vampires everyone heard and immediately began rushing in.
âYou met your mate!â Alice practically screamed, nearly knocking over Esme.
âWhatâs she like?â Emmett asked with a grin. âOr he?â he added hesitantly.
âItâs a she,â Carlisle confirmed. âItâs very new. She doesnât even really know anything about me and everything I know about her comes from lurking outside her window,â he groaned in embarrassment.
âWell that worked with Bella,â Jasper laughed.
Edward shot his brother a glare before looking back at his adoptive father. âJust find an excuse to be around her, ask her on a date.â
âThatâs the thing, sheâs 19-â
âYouâre physically 23,â Alice cut in.
âHer father is my coworker,â he elaborated. âBesides they think Iâm 31 at the hospital. And she just finished her first year pre-med.â
âSo youâll see her around the hospital!â Alice insisted, still trying to convince her adoptive father that everything would be fine. âSuggest that she comes to the hospital more to observe or do an internship! Then you can get to know her and ask her on a date.â
âThatâs not actually the worst plan,â Edward admitted.
Carlisle thought for a second. That could actually work, heâd just have to figure out how to bring it up to her and her father naturally.
âSo whatâs she like?â Rosalie asked suddenly.
If vampires could blush Carlisle would be bright red. âWell um she has H/L, (hair length) H/T, (type) H/C (color) hair. She actually looks a lot like her father, Dr. L/N. She goes to Johns Hopkins. Look can everyone just go back to what they were doing?â
âBut we want to meet her,â Alice practically whined.
In his frustration with everything Carlisle blurted out, âYou may not even get to meet her.â
That dampened the mood. âWhat?â Esme asked softly.
âNothing is decided yet but sheâs human. Weâre already dealing with Bella, the Volturi are already keeping their eyes on us, and I donât want to doom her to this life if I donât have to.â
âBut this is your mate,â Alice insisted. âYouâve been alone for 350 years!â
âHe has a point,â Rosalie cut in. âWe canât afford to have another human know about us especially with the Volturi sniffing around us. And we shouldnât be turning people unless theyâre actively dying.â
âBut sheâs his true mate!â Alice maintained, practically stamping her foot on the ground. âHe canât just turn his back on her.â
âLook nothing is decided,â Carlisle tried to calm Alice down. âI have to be back at work in a few hours and I need to hunt so if youâd all please let me be.â
Everyone shuffled out of the room reluctantly except for Edward. âIt will break your heart to let that girl go.â
Carlisle paused. He knew that, the idea of letting her go live her life and potentially fall in love with someone else broke his heart. âI know,â he admitted. âBut the thought of having to hurt her and make her like this hurts just as much.â
âSo love her for the duration of her mortal life.â
âJust to watch her age, live in pain, and die? I couldnât handle that.â
âBut youâre doing it for her,â Edward pointed out.
âBut if Iâm doing it for her shouldnât I just let her go live a normal life?â
Edward shrugged. âI donât know the right answer here just that no matter what you choose itâll kill you in some way. Thatâs the unfortunate truth about loving a human.â
~
A few weeks went by and Y/N became a routine part of Carlisleâs day. Heâd usually see her at the hospital, working as a secretary. (A job she acquired even without Carlisleâs suggestion.) Because of that he had gained a reputation for hanging around the nurses station, flirting with Y/N. Not only did he learn about her through actually talking to her, he would make frequent trips to her house to watch her through the windows, even occasionally going into her room, which he felt wrong about but being surrounded by her scent dismissed any doubt from his mind.
âY/N,â he greeted like he did every morning, bringing her a coffee.
âYou must be spending a fortune on coffee,â she commented, taking the cup. She had protested several times, insisting that she pay him back but he refused every time so she just began to accept it.
âItâs nothing,â he dismissed. âBut if it was itâd be worth it,â he flirted, earning a blush from the girl. Carlisle had learned a lot about flirting in these few weeks. At first it was a bit clumsy but he picked it up fairly easily with a little coaching from Rosalie and Emmett.
âYeah well you wonât have to spend like $4.50 everyday for much longer, one of my professors is starting a research project a month before the semester begins and he invited me as a fellow,â she explained, a glimmer of disappointment behind her bright, casual expression.
If Carlisleâs heart wasnât already frozen it wouldâve stopped beating. He tried his best to hide his shock and disappointment. âOh, well congratulations. Getting invited to stuff like this is really good for med school applications.â
âYeah, and I like being here but it was too good of an opportunity to pass up, yâknow? Plus itâll be nice to see the sun again,â she awkwardly laughed, sensing the doctorâs unease.
âYeah, um well I have to go get some labs. Congratulations, Iâll see you around,â he rushed out with a forced smile. He didnât stay long enough to hear her response, rushing out of the room as fast as possible without being suspicious.
He couldnât think straight. He of course had thought about her just leaving but now that it was actually happening, as well as happening sooner than expected, he didnât know how to deal with it.
~
Carlisle had no clue what to do when it came to his mate leaving. He couldnât stop her, that wasnât fair to Y/N, so instead he kept his distance. Which was easy considering that he could smell her from a mile away. Until one day at the hospital when the scent of her blood was particularly strong.
â19 year old female, car crash. Resuscitated once in the field, three times en route,â the panicked voice of the paramedic echoed through Carlisleâs sensitive ears. He rushed into the ER, spotting her through the window of the trauma room. He mostly recognized her through her scent but would know that H/T, H/C hair and S/T skin through purple and blue bruises from a million miles away. But the next words from her attending doctor only confirmed the worst. âPage Dr. L/N, itâs Y/N!â
It felt like Carlisle had been sucker punched in the gut. It took everything in him not to stagger back and let out a dry sob right there in the ER. When her heart monitor flatlined he wanted to slaughter every person in that room in his grief. It was ridiculous, 350 years of self control would be gone just because of a girl. But not just any girl, his girl.
When they finally got Y/Nâs heartbeat back they wheeled her up to surgery, just as Dr. L/N entered the ER. âWhereâs Y/N? Whereâs my daughter?â he demanded, trying to launch himself at the ER desk.
âD/N, D/N,â Carlisle tried to calm the distraught father. He had to physically hold the man back with vampire strength. Fortunately the ER was too chaotic for anyone to notice. âThey took her up to surgery, sheâll be fine.â
âSurgery? Oh god,â the man began to cry. âBut thatâs my baby, sheâs all I have.â With those words Carlisle began to feel guilty. Just a few weeks ago a part of him had been so ready to basically just kidnap this poor manâs daughter and completely shatter his world without a thought. âOh god, surgery here is a death sentence.â
Carlisle began to protest before really thinking about it. Forks Hospital was small, their surgical staff consisted of two surgeons and whatever nurses that had completed the surgical nurse program. No one came her for surgery, they all went to Port Angeles and their non-emergent traumas went there too. The only people who came here were on the brink of death and unfortunately the two surgeons here werenât exactly outstanding in their field. They were good enough but nothing remarkable and they usually lost their patients due to the circumstances.
~
Carlisle tried to carry on his day as if the love of his life wasnât dying in a surgical suite right now. But the ordinarily smooth, confident doctor was distracted and constantly messing up. Until finally his shift was over and he went up to his mateâs room. He had orchestrated the nursesâ charts so sheâd be placed in a secluded room should Carlisle need to intervene to prolong her life.
When he entered the room he was met with the most heartbreaking sight. Y/N was laid on the bed, an intubation tube sticking out of her throat. Her entire face was black and blue, some bones in her face looked like they had been broken. She hardly looked recognizable. On the only chair in the room sat her father looking like a worried mess. âOh, hey Carlisle,â Dr. L/N said dejectedly.
âIâm so sorry, D/N.â
The man shrugged. âSheâs tough. She managed to claw her way out of this place. Sheâll survive this.â
âI hope so,â Carlisle agreed, staring longingly at his mate.
He didnât want to arouse too much suspicion from Y/Nâs father so he reluctantly went home to change and hunt.
After his quick hunt he re-entered his home finding Alice. âCarlisle, Iâm so sorry,â she said softly. He wasnât sure what to say to that but fortunately he didnât have to come up with anything because she spoke again. âBut you have to stay with her at the hospital if you want any shot at survival.â By now Edward had joined them.
âWhat?â Carlisle asked.
âShe wonât survive this. Youâre a doctor, you have to know that. So youâll have to change her.â
Carlisle would be lying if he said he hadnât thought of the scenario where Y/N was severely injured and he needed to change her. He looked up at his oldest son. âThereâs nothing wrong about saving her life if sheâs already dying.â
Not wanting to waste another second Carlisle sped off. He almost ran to the hospital but realized at the last second he should take the car. So he floored it, doing 150mph practically the whole way there. And finally parking in the back so heâd be able to bring her home unseen.
When he got to the hospital his ears were bombarded with thousands of sounds, something he was now used to, but because of his experience he was able to tune into his mateâs heart monitor while he got his plan ready.
Heading to the morgue he found a body that was a similar build and coloring to Y/N. Carlisle was by no means squeamish but it felt weird to break her bones and watch bruises form over her skin until her face was unrecognizable. He then scraped up as many ashes as possible to make it look like someone had cremated her so no one would go looking for her body. Setting the body aside he headed back upstairs finding Dr. L/N slumped over in a chair.
Carlisle hesitantly shook the older man awake. âHey,â he said softly, willing the man to take his suggestion. âYou should go home and rest. Get changed. Iâll watch over her.â The man hesitated, still staring at his fragile daughter. âShe'll be fine, Iâll call you if anything happens.â
He reluctantly agreed before heading out, making Carlisle promise to call him even if her heart rate changed by two points.
Carlisle sat for a while, waiting for the hospital to calm down a bit before enacting his plan. First he went to the nurses station while no one was there, turning off the monitors that connected to his mateâs room. He then went back downstairs, using his hearing and sense of smell to bring the body up without being detected. Finally it was time to turn his mate. He stood over her bedside, observing her mortality for the final time. Through the black and blue of her face he admired her beauty, reminiscing the unique, flawed beauty of mortals.
This would be the most difficult transformation of his life. He was more nervous than when he had turned his sister who was his first turn. Y/Nâs blood smelled so sweet he wasnât sure heâd be able to pull away. He took a deep breath through his mouth before lowering his head to her throat, biting quickly. It took everything in him to pull away. He had never killed a human but he had tasted blood when he turned them and Y/Nâs was like nothing he had ever tasted before. He knew he had to hold on long enough for the venom to inject into her bloodstream which made it even harder to pull away but he did it.
When he pulled back he could see blood seeping from her puncture wounds telling him he didnât kill her. He quickly began disconnecting her from the machines before the venom could wreak havoc on her system. He then swapped her body for the one from the morgue, connecting the machines once again. Running down to the car he placed her unconscious figure in the backseat before going upstairs to reconnect the nurses station, alerting them that Y/N L/N was dying.
But by the time they reached her room with a crash cart Carlisle was already escaping with his prize in the back seat.
~
It took three agonizing days for Y/Nâs transformation. Carlisle spent every moment he could at her side. He had to go to the hospital in order to not arouse suspicion where he unfortunately had to deal with her grieving father. He had called him on the way home to tell that he had gone to the bathroom and when he got back she was coding. But it didnât seem to make anything easier for Dr. L/N as the man tried to tackle Carlisle when he walked into work. Fortunately for his secret a nurse stopped him. âYou left her!â he screamed. âI lost my baby. I didnât get to say goodbye because of you!â
At first Carlisle had been elated to finally have his mate (among other conflicting feelings) but now he was confronting the grief he had created. He realized that even if she was going to die anyway, if he hadnât intervened her father wouldâve gotten to say his final goodbye.
Meanwhile at home Y/N was laid on the soft couch in his room. She had spent the first two days sleeping fairly peacefully to the point that Carlisle was afraid he had killed her but her slowing heartbeat was assurance that she was okay. The third day was the hardest, he learned from Jasper that he could feel her pain. He was at work when the pain started and Alice had called him since she would be awake soon and Carlisle had wanted to be the one with her when she woke up.
Carlisle had been sitting by her side for a few hours, admiring her now clear skin, pure from all the bruises and broken bones she had received. In his own cold, stone hand, he now felt the same in her hand, all the warmth having been drained from it now as he played with her fingers adoringly.
~
Even before I opened my eyes I could hear so clearly. I could hear the rustle of clothing, the sound of skin rubbing skin as I realized a cold hand was playing with my fingers. As I became more aware I realized that my throat felt so dry it felt like it was burning.
Peeling my eyes open I was met with what seemed like the brightest object in the universe. I was half convinced I was staring directly into the sun except I could heat the hum of electric lighting.
âIs it too bright?â a voiceâ Carlisleâs voice asked.
Turning my head I met his warm, golden expression. When I nodded in agreement he ran towards the switch faster than I had ever seen anything move. Weird, but maybe I was just really groggy, but strangely I didnât feel groggy, I felt more alive than I ever had.
Carlisleâs face reappeared in my field of vision, I could now more clearly see the flawlessness of his skin and the flecks of gold in his irises. Unbeknownst to me he was was also now observing the smoothness of my skin and the deep red hue of my eyes. Something about him felt safe and warm, like I never wanted to leave his side again. âCarlisle?â was all I could think of to say.
His adoring smile widened when I said his name. âHey, Y/N. How are you feeling?â
âGoodâŚâ I answered hesitantly. I felt better than I ever had but his question made me think I shouldnât feel good.
âThatâs good. The transformation can be rougher for some people,â he explained, pulling away slightly to allow me room to sit up.
As I pushed myself up I moved so fast the couch slid to the side. My eyes widened, realizing what happened. âWhatâs going on? What transformation?â
He took my hands in his, now kneeling on the ground in front of me. âThis is going to be strange and you wonât believe me but bear with me, okay?â he asked, looking up at me. One look in his eyes and I was melting so I just nodded, allowing him to explain. âIâm⌠a vampire. And I made you one too.â Laughs began to wrack my body, this had to be a joke. But one look at the grave sincerity on his face told me he wasnât joking. âItâs true. Itâs why when you sat up the couch moved. Why youâre probably really overwhelmed with all the sound, smells, lights, and feelings. Vampires are the most dangerous predators. We have better senses, are faster, and stronger than anything else.â Seeing my lost expression he rushed out the next words. âI know itâs a lot and Iâm sorry I did this to you.â
âWhy did you do this to me?â
âHow much do you remember?â
âThe last thing I remember is driv-â I suddenly realized what mustâve happened. âI was in an accident wasnât I?â
Carlisle nodded his head regretfully. âYou werenât going to make it. Thatâs why I turned you. I didnât want to do it. I was going to let you live your life as a human whether that be with me or with someone else but I couldnât just let you die.â
âSo what? You just turn every dying patient in the hospital?â I asked, trying to wrap my head around his words.
He shook his head no. âYouâre the first Iâve turned in nearly 70 years. I couldnât let you die because⌠well you see-â Carlisle was struggling with the best word choice to keep from scaring his mate off. âWeâre mates⌠I knew the instant I saw you. Humans canât feel it as strongly and itâs rare to meet your true mate but thatâs what we are.â I didnât know how to react, I didnât even know exactly what I was feeling. âYou donât have to stay, you certainly donât have to accept our bond but I thought you should know about it. Before you got hurt I was planning to hopefully be worthy of your love the old-fashioned way but given the circumstancesâŚâ
Before I could say anything the door swung open, revealing three more vampires. One had blonde curls, another with a brunette, short pixie, and the third had caramel hair and had a strong resemblance to Carlisle. âHi, Iâm Alice!â the bubbly brunette introduced.
âUm, girls-â Carlisle attempted to dismiss them so as to not overwhelm his mate.
âSheâs probably thirsty,â the blonde insisted. Everyone looked over at me expectantly. Remembering the burning in my throat I nodded. Alice approached, opening a cup allowing the most appetizing scent to permeate through the air. I took it eagerly, frowning when I looked into the cup to find a thick, red liquid. Blood.
âIt takes a bit of getting used to,â the caramel-haired one empathized.
âTrust me, youâll like it,â Alice encouraged.
I gingerly brought it to my lips. The more I could smell it the thirstier I got so I downed the drink. The second the blood touched my lips I couldnât get enough as I began to down the drink. Once it was all gone Carlisle gently brought the cup from my hands. âCâmon, you should meet the others,â he said, gently taking my hand in his. He led me out of his room, the three women following us into what looked like a very modern living room where there were three men waiting for us. âY/N, these are my adoptive kids,â Carlisle explained as the blonde and Alice went to stand with their⌠brothers? âThatâs Alice and Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie,â he pointed out the couples, âEdward, and my sister, Esme.â
~
The Cullen clan welcomed Y/N with open arms, including Bella when she eventually met the new vampire. It took a day or two of warming up but soon enough Carlisle and Y/N began to behave just like other mates. They were constantly together, and the rest of the Cullen clan were happy to finally see Carlisle so happy with his mate after 350 years.

I Gave You My Heartâ¤ď¸đ
One Shot (Complete) ||| Main Masterlist Dieter Bravo x f!Reader x Lucien de Leon
đSummary: You and Dieter attend his parents annual Christmas party where you unexpectedly run into your ex, Lucien de Leon. As events (and drama) unfold, you're soon wondering if you are making the right choice about your future.
đWord Count: 9.1 K
đ¨Warnings: Angst, smut shenanigans, alcohol consumption, brief mentions of past drug abuse, shitty relationships, family drama, mentions of unplanned pregnancy. Dieter & Lucien come with their own warnings.
Shout out to my love, @morallyinept, for her wonderful character dialog database. It was nice to have that as a reference for this fic. đ
I glanced at my watch. We were supposed to be leaving in twenty minutes, but Dieter hadnât made it home yet due to being stuck in LA traffic. From the string of expletives included in his text messages with his ETA updates, I could tell he was beyond frustrated that filming had gone over schedule.Â
He burst through the door of our Sherman Oaks home in a flurry, kicking his shoes off and undressing as he made his way upstairs toward the bathroom to shower. He was still covered in grime and fake blood from whatever gruesome scene he had been filming that morning.Â
I followed behind him, picking up his clothes and biting back laughter as I watched his bare ass quickly disappear down the hallway into our bedroom. It wasnât an unusual sight, but he typically didnât move at a speed that would cause his ass cheeks to bounce the way they were. He was already in the shower when I entered, vigorously rubbing at his face and hair under the spray as he cursed about the water not warming up fast enough and making jokes that his dick was now shriveled up to the size of an almond because it was so cold.Â
I shook my head and laughed as I threw his clothes into the hamper, âDee, would you relax? I told your mom we might be a few minutes late. She was cool with it.â
He huffed loudly, âI know, Iâm sorry. Iâm just a little nervous. I havenât been to one of her Christmas parties in years. Thereâs gonna be a lot of family there that Iâve been avoiding.âÂ
As I did some last-minute hair and makeup touch ups, Dieter stepped out of the shower. I glanced over at him, doing a double take as I noticed there was still a tinge of red in his hair near his temple. I pointed toward it, âYou still have fake blood in your hair.â
He huffed out a quiet âfuckâ as he threw his towel at me and stepped back into the shower, dumping more shampoo into his hand to scrub at the spot while he muttered expletives under his breath.Â
By the time he stepped out again, I was pulling on my dress for the party. It was solid black and very fitted with a boat neckline and exceptionally low back. I could feel his eyes on me as I adjusted the straps to sit properly. His hands gripped my hips from behind and squeezed at the meaty flesh, âWell, the almond dick issue is solved. You look so fucking sexy in this. Think we have time for a quickie?â Â
I scoffed jokingly, âNo. We donât, actually. Save it for later, lover boy.âÂ
He whined, âOK. Fine. I wanna fuck you in my old bedroom anyway. That bed has never seen any action. Itâs time.âÂ
I rolled my eyes at him, âYouâre so ridiculous.âÂ
He gave me a quick peck on the cheek then grinned, âI know, but thatâs why you love me.â
He wasnât wrong, I loved his playful and carefree side. He made me smile more than anyone else ever had. We acted like a couple of big kids most days, always having fun and not taking each other for granted. We had both finally reached a point where we were happy, healthy, and ready for life-long companionship.Â
We had come into each other's lives at just the right time - him having hit his one-year sober anniversary and me finishing out therapy to deal with all of my childhood trauma. We met in the self-help section of a Barnes and Noble of all places. Both of us were looking for the same book with only one copy being found by him. After several minutes of looking for another one and coming up short, he offered to let me have it, but only if I gave him my phone number. I was hesitant at first, but it ended up being the best decision I had ever made. A year later we were still going strong and planning our future together.Â
I could feel my nerves bubbling up as we got into the car. I hadnât officially met his family, but I had talked to his mom several times when she would call. That didnât make me feel any better though.Â
I dug around in my purse, pulling out my phone to see if my best friend, Delia, had texted me back yet and found a notification from her.
Delia: Sorry, Iâm just not feeling up to coming tonight. You two have fun. Iâm sure they will all love you.Â
I sighed and shoved it back in my purse. Dieter glanced at me from the driver seat, grabbing my hand to lace his fingers with mine once it was free.
âSomething wrong?â he asked with furrowed brows.Â
I shrugged, âIâŚdonât know, honestly. Deliaâs been kind of weird lately. I feel like sheâs avoiding me. I was really hoping she would come tonight. Having someone else there that I know would have been nice.âÂ
His hand tightened in mine, âSheâs probably just busyâŚshe does have that new job.â
I sighed again, âYeahâŚtrue. Maybe youâre right.âÂ
He pulled my hand to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on my fingers, âJust relax, love. Youâre letting the nerves get to you. I can tell. My mom is gonna love youâŚshe already does.âÂ
I laughed nervously, âShe hasnât even met meâŚâ
He smiled, âDoesnât matter. She knows you make me happy and keep me outta trouble. Thatâs all sheâs worried about.âÂ
We were quiet the rest of the way, but that didnât stop Dieter from giving me reassuring hand squeezes and kisses. With him now focused on me, it seemed like his nerves had dissipated some, which was a good thing, at least.Â
As we parked outside his sprawling childhood home in the Hollywood Hills, I couldnât ignore the bad feeling taking root in my gut and I didnât know why. I finally shook it off as he reached into the backseat to fetch the Christmas bouquet he had purchased for his mom. From the looks of it, we were some of the first guests to arrive as Dieter had planned. He wanted to spend some time with his parents before things got too hectic. I wasnât sure if that was a good or bad idea.
We were greeted with smiling faces and hugs. Mr. and Mrs. Bravo were nothing but kind to me and mostly gushing about how well Dieter was doing and happy he was finally getting his life together. Dieter sat next to me with a shy smile and flushed cheeks as his mom doted on him. He would never admit it, but I knew it meant a lot to him that his parents finally saw him as something other than a failure.Â
As guests began to filter in, Dieter took the opportunity to take advantage of his parents' distraction, citing that he was going to show me around. The minute he checked over his shoulder with a smirk as he pulled me upstairs by one hand, I knew what he was up to.Â
We were both giggling like a couple of teenagers as he gave one last glimpse over his shoulder before pulling me into a room at the end of the hallway and locking the door behind us. It was like a time capsule. His parents had obviously not touched it since he moved out. The wall space was covered with 80âs movie and band posters. There was floor to ceiling shelves on one side of the room filled with books and old VHS tapes. It was very Dieter.Â
I could feel his eyes on me as I inspected the room. I suddenly turned to meet his gaze with a mischievous smile, âSo, where do you keep the dirty magazines and porn videos?âÂ
He snorted out a laugh, âWellâŚthat all went with me when I moved outâŚbuuut, I used to keep them buried at the back of the closetâŚin one of the many boxes labeled as comics.âÂ
I chuckled, âThat sounds about like what I expected.âÂ
He suddenly pulled me into his arms and smiled against my lips, âWe probably need to be fast, so mom doesn't get suspicious.â
His lips trailed down my neck as he backed me up against the dresser. I laughed before responding with a conspiratorial tone, âWe canât have that now, can we? She might ground you from your video games.âÂ
He groaned against my shoulder before spinning me to face the dresser, meeting my gaze in the mirror as his fingertips ghosted down the exposed skin of my back. I could already feel the arousal drenching my underwear as his thirsty eyes drank me up. His hands moved to the straps of my dress, slipping them over my shoulders, allowing the dress to slide down my body and pool on the floor at my feet.Â
He licked his bottom lip as one hand reached around to gently knead at my breast, then pinched the nipple between his fingers. I moaned quietly at the sensation, leaning back against him as I grasped his hand and raised it to my mouth, sucking on his middle and index finger before placing them at my center. He wasted no time pulling my underwear aside to rub at the small bundle of nerves, eliciting a much louder moan from me. He chuckled against my ear, âImma need you to be quiet, love. These walls are thin. Never know when somebody might walk by.âÂ
His fingers dipped lower, first one, then two disappearing inside of me to expertly massage at that blissful spot that he knew so well. I gripped his arm with one hand, while the other tangled in his messy curls.Â
He hummed against my ear in that deep baritone voice of his, âSo wet already, youâre always ready for me, arenât ya honey?â
I nodded; my head dropped back against his shoulder as my eyes pinched shut.Â
âOh no, love. Keep your eyes on me.âÂ
My eyes met his reflection, he tucked his bottom lip between his teeth as he fought a smirk. He always looked so fucking sexy when he did that. I could feel his bulge pressing against my ass as he continued to work me over, grinding into me as his hot breath came faster against my ear. He had me coming undone in his arms within minutes, never taking his eyes off mine as he worked me through my release.Â
He held me around the middle for support, lips grazing and nibbling at my neck until I regained my senses. I chuckled, turning my head toward him to capture his lips in a heated kiss. He pulled away slightly, just far enough that he could suck his fingers into his own mouth to taste me. All while never breaking our eye contact. I needed him immediately.
I turned in his arms, nimble fingers moving to the buttons on the front of his black dress shirt to unfasten them. He smiled down at me as I worked to remove his clothes, allowing me to take charge now. Once he was undressed, I pushed him back toward the tiny twin bed.Â
âLay down so I can fuck you like you want me to, lover boy.â Â
His brown eyes rounded as he took in my words, turning giddy and scrambling onto the bed - his cock erect and bouncing as he went. I had to bite back a laugh at his excitement. His enthusiasm for sex never seemed to wane.
After he got situated, he patted at the tops of his thighs with a lopsided grin that caused his cheeks to dimple. âAlright, mount up and ride me, baby.âÂ
I couldnât help chuckling as I peeled off my underwear then moved to straddle his hips. After notching him at my entrance, I quickly sank down all the way, causing his jaw to fall open from the feeling. His fingers dug into my hips, holding me in place.Â
âFuck, baby. Youâre about to revert me back to my sixteen-year-old self and make me come after six seconds by doing shit like that.âÂ
I leaned down, giggling against his scruffy chin before placing a kiss on the bare heart shaped patch in his beard. He let out a steady controlled breath before loosening his grip and nodding for me to continue. I sat up, placing my hands on his chest for leverage and began to move. We were met with a high-pitched squeaking sound. I paused, rolling my lips together in an attempt to hold in my laughter.
Dieter huffed, âItâs not that loudâŚkeep going.âÂ
I nodded and began to move again. Every time I sank down onto him - squeak, squeak, squeak. It only seemed to get louder each time.Â
My right hand flew to my mouth to hold in the giggles. I couldnât help it.Â
Dieterâs eyes slid closed in defeat as he huffed out, âI guess thereâs a reason this bed hasnât seen any fucking action.âÂ
I finally lost it, leaning down to bury my face in his chest as I burst into laughter. My movement caused the bed to squeak again which set us both off. It continued the incessant noise as our bodies shook from the hysterics, which only served to make things worse.Â
Dieter finally collected himself enough to wrap his arms around me and move to a sitting position, then twisted to hang his legs off the side of the bed. All while it continued to squeak with every movement.Â
âFuck this. Iâm a big boy now. Watch me make this work.â
He stood, wrapping my legs around his waist as he did so while I tried to stifle my giggles. He moved back toward the dresser, perching me on the edge of it as he repositioned himself at my entrance and sank in. The sudden sensation of him filling me caused our chuckles to turn to a deep groan. He stood there for a moment, allowing me to adjust to the new angle.
He smiled against my lips, âSeeâŚI got this.âÂ
I gave him a teasing look and nodded, âThen get to it Bravo. Show me how itâs done.âÂ
His hips began to move, slowly at first so I could feel every inch of him sliding against me. It was already creating a delicious sensation that would soon turn me into a quivering mess in his arms. He began to snap his hips a little faster which resulted in a thumping noise from the mirror smacking against the wall. The faster he went, the louder it got, which caused me to lose it all over again.Â
He stopped moving as his forehead tilted forward to lean against my shoulder, âOh for fuckâs sake.âÂ
When my eyes finally met his, he was fighting a smile. âI just wanna have sneaky sex in my old bedroom, is that too much to ask?â
I snickered as I pushed at his chest for him to back away, âOk, itâs my turn. Watch and learn.âÂ
I hopped down off the dresser and turned my back to him, leaning forward to place my hands on the top of the dresser to brace myself as I arched my ass toward him. I turned to look at him over my shoulder with a teasing smirk, âMount up, lover boy.âÂ
He chuckled as he came up behind me, one hand grasping my hip as the other gripped the base of his cock to slide back in. I gasped at the feel of him as he leaned flush against me, lips brushing my ear as he spoke. âYou think youâre such a clever girl, donât ya.â
I nodded as his hips snapped against my ass, now panting as I muttered out some teasing words. âI know I am.â
His hands snaked around to my front, one pulling me flush against him as the other rubbed tight circles on my clit. âI guess that means you deserve to come again. Come on, love. Give me another one.âÂ
That was enough to send me over the edge again, causing him to grunt against my ear as my walls constricted around him. After a few more thrusts, his groans turned to soft whimpers as he spilled inside of me. His arms tightened around me as he buried his face into the top of my shoulder. We stayed like that for a couple of minutes, attempting to catch our breath and come back to reality. Â
I felt his lips against my skin, placing gentle kisses before he raised his head to look at me with a blissed-out expression. âYouâre so fucking perfect. I love you. Have I told you that today?â
I smiled up at him, âYou have, but you can tell me that as many times as you want.âÂ
He captured my lips in a brief kiss before pulling out with a groan. âLemme see if I can find something to clean you up with.âÂ
I stopped him, âNo, leave it. I wanna keep you close tonight.âÂ
His brows arched as he smirked at me, âSuch a dirty girl. I fucking love it.âÂ
I gave him a quick peck on the lips, âI know you do. Now get dressed. Weâve probably been gone too long as it is.âÂ
He nodded as he turned to search out his clothes, tossing me my underwear before picking up his pants. We spent a few minutes getting decent. After touching up my makeup and sorting out Dieterâs messy sex hair, we finally made our way downstairs.Â
Dieter had his hands on either side of my waist as he walked closely behind me, leaning in next to my ear to whisper about how he was going to take this dress off of me again later. Neither of us paid much attention as we rounded the corner to the living room, causing us to nearly crash into a broad figure. I felt Dieter stiffen behind me as I began to murmur my apologies until my eyes met the chocolate ones peering down at me. With a smirk that was still sexy as ever, Lucien de Leon spoke in that deep raspy voice that I knew so well, âSorry sweetheart, didnât see you coming.â He did not seem the least bit surprised to see me.
I felt like I was going to be sick as I wondered what the hell he was doing here. I felt Dieterâs grip tighten as he pulled me closer to him, âLucien, I thought mom said you werenât gonna make it?â His voice sounded off, almost like it was a warning more than a question.Â
Lucien shrugged as he glanced at me, âIâŚchanged my mind.âÂ
Dieter sighed, now peering down at me, âI guess I should introduce youâŚthis is my brother, Lucien.âÂ
Brother? What. The. Fuck. I was struggling to breathe as I gave Lucien a nervous smile, reaching my hand toward him to shake and giving him my name like it was the first time we had ever laid eyes on each other. He hesitated, still with that smirk before finally reaching out to take my hand in his to play along.Â
âSo, youâre the one thatâs turned my brother into a good boy, ehh?â he finally said in a teasing tone.Â
I gave him a tight smile, âNo. Your brother did that himself. He worked for it.â
Dieter was beside me now, eyes shifting between Lucien and I with raised brows.Â
Lucien gave me an amused look before his eyes shifted to his brother, âWell, good for him. Iâll be shocked if it sticks.â
Dieter scoffed, âFuck off. You donât know meâŚIâve changed.âÂ
Lucien rolled his eyes in response before changing the subject. A smug look suddenly forming on his face, âI got a call back on that new Scorsese film. Itâs supposed to be a big deal.â
Dieter gave him a very unimpressed stare, âListen, Iâm sorry. Iâm trying to care, but itâs hard. Besides, they offered me the lead and I turned it down. I have a prior commitment. I already have my Oscar, so whatever.â Â
I stifled a laugh as they exchanged a cold glare. Lucien seemed to break first, âWell, Iâll let you two get back to the party. I think mom was looking for you.âÂ
He walked away without another word, ending the childish pissing match between them for the time being.Â
Dieter huffed, âFucking asshole. Come on.âÂ
After taking my hand, he pulled me through the tightly packed crowd in search of his mom. I could feel his calming warmth radiating through my skin, but mentally I was somewhere else. Ten years in the past to be specific, where I first met Lucien.Â
Lucien and I had been cast as the two leads in a play at one of the local theaters. Our relationship was all consuming, passionate, and toxic. We were right for each other in so many ways, but too broken to make it work. In all the ways that he was sweet, sexy, and charming he was equally as stubborn, selfish, and sometimes cruel. Not that I had been any better. Both of us were guilty of saying things we didnât mean to purposefully hurt the other. We really did bring out the worst parts of each other. Though I still maintain most of our problems stemmed from his constant drinking. It was only ever bad when he was drinking. It turned him into another person that I eventually learned to hate and resent.
We tried being together several times over the years. It never failed. We would randomly run into each other in some public place, immediately fall back into bed and swear to do better, but it never worked. The same issues always inevitably reared their ugly head. I willingly gave him everything, and he broke me again and again.Â
Knowing our history and how easily we always found ourselves back together was igniting a fear in me. We were like magnets. It was damn near impossible for us to stay apart from each other. I ruined many good relationships for him, but I couldnât do that now. I couldnât do that to Dieter.Â
Dieter was amazing. He was all the things that Lucien was never able to be. He was all of the best parts of Lucien plus more. Dieter gave me his love and affection so willingly. With Lucien, I had to fight for scraps. Each little morsel kept my hope alive just enough to make me believe that he loved me as much as I loved him. Those little morsels were what kept me going for years, but in the end it wasnât enough.Â
As Lucienâs star began to rise in the film industry, we finally hit a wall. He was pictured kissing some model at a Hollywood party, which made it into the tabloids, and inevitably into my hands. It was my last straw. I hadnât seen him in person since the night I confronted him about it and ended things. He eventually became fairly well known in the film industry. It didnât take long for him to establish his reputation as a womanizer and Hollywood fuckboy. As far as I knew, he still had that reputation, even if he was now considered to be a D-list actor.Â
It was a massive effort to keep myself in the present as Dieter and I mingled with his family and friends. It didnât help that I kept catching Lucienâs gaze from where he wandered on the outskirts of the crowd. I knew exactly where he was at all times because I could feel his eyes burning into me. It was making me anxious. I knew him and I knew he wasnât going to make this easy on me. We had played this game too many times.Â
I needed a break, so I excused myself to go to the bathroom. Upon finding a line for the downstairs bathroom, I made my way upstairs since no partygoers were permitted up there. Once I was finally alone, I let out a sigh of relief. Now focusing on my breathing to try and get my heart rate back to normal. Being away from Lucien was doing me wonders, allowing me to ground myself and fully come back to the present. I had to remind myself that I wasnât the same person anymore. I could resist him now.
After finishing up, I opened the door to exit but was suddenly crowded backwards into the small room. My nose was assaulted with the familiar smell of Lucien's musky cologne as he turned to close and lock the door behind him.Â
âWhat the fuck are you doing?â I hissed.Â
âI need to talk to you,â he answered with pleading eyes.
I shook my head, trying to push past him. âI have nothing to say, and I canât be here with you.â  Â
He held out his arm, grabbing me around the middle to stop my progress. âBaby, please. I just wanna talk, I swear.â
I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest as I moved to the opposite side of the room, âDonât call me that.âÂ
âWhy are you with my brother?â he asked. Not even acknowledging my demand.
I let out a sardonic laugh, âI didnât know he was your brother.âÂ
His brows furrowed, âHow the fuck did you not know weâre brothers?â
I scoffed, âYou told me your brother's name was David.â
His brows raised, âIt isâŚlegally. Didnât he tell you that?â
I rubbed a hand down my face, âYou donât even have the same last name! How the fuck was I supposed to know?âÂ
He looked amused now, âYou didnât think it odd that we look so similar?âÂ
I let out a controlled breath, âNo, I didnât actually. I have a type, OK. I know this. I just figured you guys looked alike in the way that Elijah Wood and Daniel Radcliffe look alikeâŚor Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean MorganâŚor Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen.âÂ
He chuckled, âYou do know that Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen are brothers, right?âÂ
I sighed, âNo, I didnât. Maybe you fuckers should keep the same last name to cut back on the confusion.âÂ
He was smiling at me now, âYouâre still feisty I see. God, Iâve missed that.âÂ
I held up my hand to silence him, âDonât say shit like that.âÂ
âCome on honey, you know you miss me.â That ridiculous smirk was back on his lips as I glared at him.Â
âSo, I take it you havenât told my brother about me after that little stunt you pulled downstairs.âÂ
I rolled my eyes, âNo. Not by name anyway. All he knows is that I had a problematic ex that fucked me up.â
He sucked air through his teeth, âThatâs harsh. You know you canât blame all that on me.âÂ
I stared at him for a beat, âNo. Youâre right. You just added to it and took it over the top.âÂ
He came closer, causing me to back up against the sink as he looked me over from head to toe.Â
âYou look beautiful tonight. I havenât been able to keep my eyes off youâŚâ
I refused to look his way as he leaned in closer, âI noticed. You need to stop it before someone notices.âÂ
His curved nose grazed the shell of my ear. I had to force my thighs not to clench together from the contact.
âI miss you ya know? Iâve been trying to get in touch with youâŚbut youâve been hard to track down. Now I know why.âÂ
I jerked away from him, âWhat do you want, Lucien? Your little game isnât gonna work this time. Iâm not falling for it. I love Dieter.â
His eyes widened, âLove? Well, thatâs a development. I donât remember you saying that about any of the others.âÂ
I rolled my eyes, âYes. I love himâŚIâm happy. WeâreâŚgetting married.âÂ
He scoffed, âYou realize heâs been married twice alreadyâŚright? This isnât new for him.âÂ
That hit a nerve, and he knew it.Â
âThat may be true, but he wasnât sober then. He is now. Heâs got his life figured outâŚunlike you.âÂ
He feigned offense, âHey, I went to rehab too you know. Iâm trying here. Which is why I wanted to talk to you. I need to tell you Iâm sorry.âÂ
His energy shifted. I couldnât tell if this was another one of his games or not. I was taken off guard as he turned away from me, seeming almost pensive as he continued.Â
âI knowâŚIâm a large part of the reason that we never worked. I was emotionally unavailable, and I let what little fame I managed to gain go to my head. I broke a lot of my promisesâŚyou deserved better.â
I let out a steady breath, attempting to control my emotions. I had waited years to hear those words, eventually accepting that I never would. Yet, here we were.Â
âWell, I appreciate the apology. Thank you for that.â
He gnawed at his lip for a beat before turning to meet my gaze, âDo you thinkâŚmaybe we could try again?â
Anger flooded through me. He was giving me whiplash from all the different emotions he was pulling out of me in such a short time period. I shook my head, biting back a disdainful laugh. âYou have got to be fucking kidding me right now.â
It was his turn to shake his head, âNo. Iâm not. Iâm still in love with you. It was always you. I was just too stupid to see it.âÂ
I felt near bursting into tears, and I wasnât sure if it was from anger, pain, or something else. âIâm not doing this with you again.âÂ
His brows pinched together, âYou really think he can make you happy? Heâs nothing but the knock off version of me. Youâre attracted to him because he reminds you of me. Admit it.âÂ
I scoffed, âYou two may look similar, but Dieter is nothing like you. He and I have connected in ways we never will. If you wanna compareâŚheâs the name brand version that I should have started with. You were a bad decision, a waste of my time and money, and I canât even get a fucking refund.âÂ
He pursed his lips, allowing time for the words to sink in. That hit a nerve as intended.
âNow, if youâll excuse me, Iâm sure my fiancĂŠ is wondering where I am. I canât have him finding us in here together.â Â
I brushed past him to unlock and open the door. He didnât stop me this time. I felt strangely liberated as I made my way downstairs, never having been able to deny Lucien in that way before. I wasnât weak anymore. I was the one in control.Â
It didnât take long for me to find Dieter. His tea kettle laugh could be heard over everyone else. All I had to do was follow the sound. As I approached, he wrapped his arm around me and placed a quick kiss on the top of my head before he went back to his conversation. I loved seeing him like this. His happiness from reuniting with his family after so many years of being ostracized over his bad behavior and drug habits helped ground me.
Dieter was attentive as we continued to mingle, making sure to include me in his conversations while keeping physical contact at all times. From the way he kept glancing at me, I knew he could sense the lingering tension from my interaction with his brother. He probably just assumed it was nerves from meeting his family and hopefully didnât suspect anything, but I knew I would have to tell him the truth. And soon.Â
Though I made a point to keep my attention on Dieter, I could still sense Lucienâs presence. It seemed like the harder I tried to ignore him, the more taunting he became. He worked his way through the crowd, becoming louder and more boisterous as the evening went on. With each pass around the room, I found him getting closer and closer. Eventually, I found him chatting in the groups near us, positioning himself where he was in my direct line of sight or close enough behind me that he could brush against me in some way. His proximity was affecting me in ways I didn't want to admit. There was something sort of thrilling about our secret and his audacious behavior that was arousing. However, the moment I looked at Dieter, it all disappeared. He was my life now. He held my heart carefully. Lucien never did anything but smash it into a million pieces.Â
I briefly stepped away from Dieter to grab us a bottle of water from the kitchen. As I stood with the refrigerator door open, I was surprised to feel strong hands grip my hips, then slide around my waist to pull me closer. Plump lips trailed down the curve of my neck, causing me to suck in a breath. I knew instantly who it was from the way he touched me and the feel of his mouth. My body betrayed me, reacting on instinct as it melted into his embrace. My mind finally caught up, causing me to abruptly turn and push him away.Â
âWhat the fuck is youâre problem, Lucien?âÂ
His cocky grin was back, âIâm just reminding you what youâre missing, baby. I can tell; you're questioning yourself. Youâre not sure what you want. Iâm here to make sure you know your options.âÂ
I scoffed, âYouâre so fucking delusional. Leave me alone.âÂ
I grabbed a bottle of water, then slammed the door closed as I moved away from him. Once back with Dieter, I felt distracted. I couldnât stop thinking about the way Lucienâs lips felt on my body or the way his stupid gold chains used to gently graze against my skin as he moved above me. The thoughts caused that familiar ache to form at the apex of my thighs. I hadnât seen or sensed Lucien since leaving him in the kitchen, yet he was still having this effect on me.
I suddenly felt hot and claustrophobic at the realization. I didnât understand what it meant. Dieter noticed, leaning in to ask if I was feeling ok as his hand rubbed soothing circles on my lower back. I nodded, âYeah, I think I just need some air.âÂ
He moved to come with me, but I stopped him. âNo, you stay and talk to your uncle. Iâll be fine. Iâll be right back.âÂ
I soon found myself on the back patio, inhaling deeply to catch my breath as the chilly night air instantly cooled my burning skin. It was a relief and allowed me to calm the storm that was brewing inside of my mind. The reaction I was having to Lucien was purely physical. It meant nothing. I didnât love him anymore. This would feel differently if that wasnât the case.Â
Suddenly, I felt that magnetic pull. My attention was drawn to the shadows, seeing the glow of a cigarette before Lucien stepped into the light. He came closer and offered it to me.Â
I shook my head, âI donât smoke anymore.âÂ
He shrugged, âSuit yourself.âÂ
There was an awkward silence that stretched between us as he puffed away until the cigarette was done. His mood now seemed a little more somber than it had in the kitchen.Â
He finally spoke, âYou knowâŚI was just watching you two togetherâŚfrom out here. Youâre different with himâŚand him with you. I can tell you really care about each otherâŚand you lean on each other for support. Thatâs good. Iâm happy youâve both found that.âÂ
I was taken aback by his words, but I couldnât tell if he was being sincere or not.Â
âMaybe one day Iâll find that too. I think it would do me some good.âÂ
I gave him a soft smile, âIt always helps to have a support system.âÂ
He pursed his lips in thought, âDo you remember how we used to go to the video store and rent like five movies and stay up all night to watch them in bed?âÂ
I nodded and smiled at the memories. It was some of our happier times together.Â
âYou used to get so mad at me for eating chips in the bed because of the crumbs, but then I would always find stray peanut m&mâs a week later.â
I laughed, âChip crumbs are way worse to clean than peanut m&mâs though.âÂ
He nodded and chuckled, âYeah, maybe.â
His brows furrowed, âI donât think Iâve eaten or watched a movie in bed since you left. That was our thing. I canât do it without you.âÂ
I sighed, âLucien, donât do this. Please.âÂ
He held his hands up in surrender, âJust wait. I-I-I real- I-I really have to do thisâŚI need to get these unresolved feelings out. I fucked up. A lot. I know this. I was selfish and mentally checked out before the good parts, the houseâŚthe kids, the Christmas cards. Iâm sorry for that. I just felt so much pressure about it all. I needed to accomplish too much to get us there and I didnât think I could do it.âÂ
He moved in closer, cupping my cheek as he gave me that baby cow eye look that always bent me to his whim. I couldnât move or breathe.Â
âI do still love you. I meant that. I would do anything to have you back.âÂ
He leaned in further and paused, giving me a chance to rebuff him again, but I couldnât. I was still frozen by him, his words, his voice, his touchâŚI could feel that small ember that burned for him slowly igniting into a flame as I got lost in his soulful eyes. I felt confused. I couldnât distinguish if it was my heart or cunt talking, telling me to at least see where things go.Â
When I didnât immediately pull away, he closed the distance between us, capturing my mouth with his. His kiss was commanding, confident, and sensual. It stirred something inside me that I admit I never felt with anyone else, not even Dieter. It was feral and uninhibited in almost an unhealthy way. He broke the kiss, both of us panting as our gazes met. My resolve was quickly crumbling, and he knew it.Â
That cocky smirk returned to his lips as he took my hand and pulled me toward the side of the house that was hidden in the shadows. It was like my brain had switched into autopilot, entering the submissive state that he loved so much.Â
After caging me in against the side of the house, his lips crashed into mine as he dipped lower to grind his hips against me. I could feel his hard length pressing against my center, and God I wanted it. I wanted him.
His lips began to trail downward, nipping and licking down the curve of my neck.
I sighed, attempting to gain my resolve as I managed to say, âLucien, we canât do this. Itâs wrong.âÂ
My actions did not match my words as my fingertips knotted in his hair and held him tighter to me. I could feel him smiling against my skin, continuing to place small kisses between his words as he responded.Â
âItâs not really happening. Weâre just finishing unfinished business in a parallel universe.âÂ
I chuckled, âYouâre so fucking ridiculous.âÂ
His lips were hovering near mine, smiling as he replied, âI knowâŚthatâs why you love me.âÂ
His words made me think of Dieter. That was always his response too. Lucienâs hand reached for the left strap of my dress, beginning to lower it off my shoulder before I stopped it and forced him to meet my gaze.Â
âWhat about your brother? Your mom? If we do this, itâs gonna hurt them. I donât think thereâs any coming back from that.âÂ
He shrugged, âI donât care. They donât matter to me. I need you in my life. Please.âÂ
âYou think I can hurt them like that?â I asked. His spell over me was quickly fading.Â
âYouâll have me, baby. Itâll be ok.âÂ
As my eyes drifted over his stupidly beautiful face it was now obvious to me, he hadnât changed. Not really. He might or might not be sober, but he was still a selfish asshole who only ever thought of himself. He still had a way to go before he actually had his shit together and learned to be a better person.Â
He obviously couldnât read the shift in my mood as he leaned in to suck on my neck.Â
I moved my lips closer to his ear, âYou know I just had sex with your brother less than three hours ago in his old bedroom upstairs.âÂ
He pulled away with a confused look. âWhat? You wanna fuck me in my old room too?âÂ
He was missing the point. This isnât me. I donât do this anymore.
âI can still feel his cum dripping out of me. Does that not bother you?âÂ
His brows furrowed as he turned away and pinched the bridge of his nose, âFucking hell, do you have to be so crass about it? Thatâs not exactly what I wanna be thinking about right now.âÂ
I scoffed, âCrass? Thatâs ironic coming from youâŚand yes. If thatâs what I need to do to get my point across, then so be it. Iâm not that person anymore, Lucien. Iâm putting an end to this now. I will not do this to DieterâŚI love him too much. Iâm not ruining my life for you ever again.âÂ
His jaw clenched, âWho says you would be ruining your life? Iâm ready to settle down and have a family, a house⌠all the things I promised.âÂ
I had to bite back a laugh, âThen why donât you do that with one of the five women you already have kids with.â
His brows arched, âExcuse me? I only have two kids.âÂ
He paused and grimaced, âThere may be a third one, but Iâm not sure whatâs happening with that, yet...âÂ
My mouth dropped open with that news, âOh and when were you gonna tell me about that? Youâre seriously out here professing your love to me when youâve knocked up someone else? Youâre a real piece of work. Youâre obviously still a hot fucking mess. I canât believe you seriously think you can offer me more than Dieter.âÂ
He laughed as he crowded my space again, âIs that what itâs about? Money?âÂ
I pushed him away, âFuck you. You know thatâs not what I mean. He loves me and he makes sure I know it. I donât have to beg him for affection or an emotional connection. He gives it willingly.â
He rolled his eyes, âRight, he must not give you everything you need if youâre melting in my hands so easily.âÂ
We were already sliding back into old habits by slinging insults at each other. This is why we didnât work.Â
âDid you miss the part where I said we just had sex? Heâs much more attentive than you ever were. Iâve never had to fake it with him.âÂ
I could tell that was his final straw. There was no questioning Lucien de Leonâs skill in the bedroom. In his mind, he was a sex god. He wasnât wrong. He was fucking amazing in bed, but he didnât need to know I thought that.Â
His jaw clenched as his face flushed with anger. He looked like he was considering his next words before he spoke. Obviously deciding he was going for maximum damage.Â
âI got Delia pregnant.âÂ
I felt like a bomb had just detonated in my face, swallowing the world around us and leaving nothing but ringing in my ears. Once I regained my senses, all I could manage to get out was a strangled, âWhat?âÂ
He had his cocky asshole smile on now, suddenly playing it casual.
âYeah, I saw her out at a bar several months ago. I wanted to ask her about you⌠and we just started talkingâŚhad one too many drinksâŚthen went back to her place and spent all night fucking. Weâve seen each other on and off a few times since then. So, yeah. I knocked up your best friend.â
I hated him. I hated him for the way he had treated me and for whatever way he was about to treat her even though she should have known better.Â
I scoffed, âYouâre unbelievable.â
I pushed past him to go back inside. I could hear him apologizing as he followed behind me, realizing he finally took it too far. I was telling him to âfuck offâ just as Dieter stepped outside. Lucien and I stopped short at the edge of the patio when we realized Dieter was there, eyes shifting between the two of us as he worked out what he was seeing.Â
I sighed, my eyes closing in defeat and shame realizing there was no way to get out of it, but I didnât want him finding out like this.Â
Dieter approached; lips set into a tight line as he continued to look between us. âYou wanna tell me whatâs going on?â
Lucien looked at me with wide eyes. For once in his life, he was keeping his damn mouth shut. I inhaled deeply; my mouth opened but no words came out. I didnât know where to start.Â
Dieterâs brows furrowed, âYou slept with my brotherâŚdidnât you?âÂ
The look on my face must have told him all he needed to know as he pursed his lips and nodded in understanding. âI meanâŚitâs not the first time this has happened with him and someone I was dating. So, I shouldnât be shocked.â
I stepped closer to him, âDieter, it was years ago. Before I knew youâŚI didnât know he was your brother or else I wouldâve told you. I meanâŚI kind of told you, but I didnât say his name. Heâs the one that fucked me up so badly.â
I could see anger flash in his eyes as he shot daggers toward Lucien, realizing all the terrible things he had done to me. âI always knew you were an asshole, but damn. You need some serious help.âÂ
Lucien had the audacity to look offended by that before Dieterâs attention turned back to me. âAnd youâŚhow the hell did you not know he was my brother? Everybody knows that.â
I scoffed, âYou told me your brother's name was Richard. And you fuckers donât even have the same last nameâŚYou know what, Iâm not having this conversation againâŚâÂ
Dieter shrugged, âHis name is RichardâŚlegally. He didnât tell you that?â  Â
I huffed, rubbing at my temple, âFucking hell, you two. Maybe youâre more alike than I realized.âÂ
I couldnât help the giggle that suddenly escaped as I peered up at Lucien, âYour name is actually Dick? Thatâs fittingâŚshould have stuck with it.âÂ
Lucien rolled his eyes, âFuck off with that.âÂ
Dieter snorted out laughter as he pulled me into his side, âI love you. Your so fucking perfect.âÂ
I sighed in relief as our gazes met, âYouâre not angry with me?âÂ
He shook his head, âHow can I be? It was years ago. Besides, I know how he isâŚalways been more charming than me. All the ladies fall for him at some point. At least youâve already gotten it out of your system.â Â
Lucien suddenly looked disgusted as he muttered, âI canât fucking believe thisâŚâ
My eyes narrowed at him, âLucien, you really need to get it togetherâŚreevaluate your life. And it sounds to me that you have someone else you need to work things out with. Do right by her, please.âÂ
His brows pinched together as his eyes met mine. An understanding seemed to pass between us. We were done. For good. I gave him a tight smile as I nudged Dieter toward the door to go inside. Lucien didnât move to follow, but I could feel his eyes on us until I closed the door behind us.Â
A short time later, Dieterâs mom announced the news of our engagement to everyone. She didnât hesitate to pull us in for tight hugs as she congratulated us with a wide toothy smile. I could see Lucien in my periphery, jaw tense with a slight frown on his lips and a bottle of something in hand. Then, in the blink of an eye, he was gone. Even with all the bravado and posturing, I could tell he was hurt. I didnât doubt that he had feelings for me, but they were never enough to make him change his ways.
After Lucien left, things felt more relaxed. Dieter and I enjoyed the rest of the evening together, smiling happily as we told his parents goodbye to head home. We soon found ourselves snuggled up on the sectional next to the fireplace as we admired our first Christmas tree. Our conversation eventually turned to Lucien and our history. I helped fill in the gaps and answer any questions Dieter had, making sure he knew I was committed to him and him alone.Â
âI know heâs your brother, and it may make things harder between you two, but I can never fully forgive him for how he treated meâŚbut I do wish him well. I hope that he can get his life together and find peace.â
Dieter sighed, âHe's such an almighty fuck up. And I love himâŚbut he makes it hard. I miss who he used to be. We used to be so closeâŚuntil the Hollywood lifestyle started getting to us. Everything became a competition and we both sort of spiraled out of control in so many ways. Maybe one dayâŚIâll get my brother back. I canât forgive him for everything, but I can try.â
I squeezed him a little tighter, âMaybe you should offer an olive branch? Maybe he would let you help him get sober?â
Dieter pursed his lips in thought, âYeahâŚmaybeâŚâ
Lucienâs POV
As I sat and watched the love of my life and brother announce their engagement to the family, a lot of thoughts and feelings were swirling around in my head. After seeing them together, I couldnât deny they were both happy. She had chosen the better man. I accepted it at that moment, deciding it was time to move on.Â
Not wanting to stick around and further wallow in my pain, I found myself outside Deliaâs small studio apartment with a fresh bottle of bourbon in hand. I had been in denial about her for weeks. After our time together I was beginning to feelâŚsomething for her. She wasnât the one that I wanted in my future, but that didnât mean she was a bad choice. If she decided to keep the baby, she was going to be part of my future anyway.Â
We spent some time discussing things and I assured her I would be supportive if she decided to keep the baby. Personally, I wanted her to. I had a sudden urge to try and make things work with her. As I laid next to her sleeping form on the bed, staring at the small christmas tree illuminated in the corner and nursing a glass of bourbon, my phone vibrated on the nightstand. I was surprised to see that it was my brother calling. I sighed, my thumb hovering over âignoreâ before I finally decided to answer.Â
I quickly stood, moving to the bathroom to avoid waking Delia, then answered.Â
âWell, well. Hello brother. To what do I owe the pleasure?âÂ
I could hear Dieter suck in a breath on the other end of the line, âI uhhâŚjust wanted to check in and make sure youâre good.âÂ
His words and tone stirred something inside of me. This was the old Dieter talking. The one I cared about before things went to hell between us. It caused a rush of emotions that I had to fight back, inhaling deeply to collect myself before I answered,
âYeah, Iâm goodâŚyour girl really knows how to bring a man to his knees, but Iâll live. I can see that sheâs happy and thatâs all that matters. Iâm moving on.â
Dieter chuckled, âThat she can doâŚbut that doesnât mean sheâŚthat weâŚdonât care about your wellbeing. I want you to know that. If you ever decideâŚto tryâŚto wanna get sober, I wanna help you. I want us to move past all the shit we did to each other and try to be brothers again.â
I couldnât believe what I was hearing. I was shocked, but I didnât hate the idea. Deep down, I did miss my brother. I tried to cover my emotions with a snicker, âWell, isnât this a Christmas fucking miracle. I guess this means the Bravo brothers are backâŚMaybe Iâll change my name again.â
Dieter laughed, âLetâs not get too crazy nowâŚone step at a time.â Â
My brows furrowed as tears formed in the corners of my eyes, âDo you think you could uhhâŚsend me the information for that rehab place you went to?âÂ
I could hear the smile in his voice, âYeahâŚIâll send it right over. If you decide you wanna goâŚI canâŚtake youâŚif you want?â
I nodded even though he couldnât see me, fighting back the tears that were threatening to fall. I had to clear the lump in my throat before I could respond, âUh, yeahâŚI think Iâd like that.âÂ
âAmazingâŚwellâŚjust tell me when youâre ready and Iâm there, brother.âÂ
He sounded like he was fighting his emotions just as much as I was.Â
âI willâŚIt wasâŚgood to talk to you.â
âYou too. Merry Christmas, Lucien.â
A small smile formed on my lips, âMerry Christmas, Dieter.â
After hanging up with Dieter, I didnât think twice before seeking out the bourbon I had arrived with and pouring it down the drain. I could feel it. This was a turning point for me. A new path that I had to choose to take because I wanted to, not because it was expected. If Dieter could do it, then so could I. It was time I moved on with my life and found happiness too.Â
As I snuggled up next to Delia, I could faintly envision our future together. If she was willing to try, then so was I. Maybe she was meant to be my happy endingâŚwith the house, the kids, and the fucking Christmas cards.
A/N: Hello my lovelies! Thanks for stopping by!
I've gotta say...the speed at which I busted this out (less than 48 hours) has to be a record. And here I was worried it wouldn't be done by Christmas. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed. Happy holidays!đ¤Ł
đIf you're a Dieter lover (like myself) and you're new to my work, I have lots more for you to enjoy HERE. Including my mystical Christmas fic from last year. I've also got a little Frankie thrown on the masterlist too. Happy reading!đ

heeseung's blood was boiling. the guy that was talking to you in front of HIS locker was obviously trying to get to you. the way his eyes looked you up and down, how he licked his lips every time he looked at the shorts you were wearing, his hand trying to reach yours.
heeseung's locker was the checkpoint after school where you two would meet to hang out after classes. sometimes it was with heeseung's friends, sometimes it was you two alone. he walked with a steady pace, his jaw clenching.
his gaze softened for a second when you acknowledged his presence, only to go back to a dark look towards the man in front of you. "hey, heeseung!" you greeted with a soft smile. "hello, love." he replied back.
you and heeseung were often mistaken as a couple due to all the skinship and nicknames you had with each other, but in reality, you both were childhood friends.
"it would be nice if my locker wasn't filled with annoying people."
the man ignored heeseung's words, still trying to reach your hand. "so, are you free later tonight?" your best friend scoffed, not letting you reply for yourself. "i said, it would be nice if my locker wasn't filled with annoying people. and no, she's not free. she has plans with me."
you gave the boy an apologetic look before waving him goodbye, turning to heeseung. his muscles were tense, and his jaw was still clenching as he watched the dude walk away. you laid a hand on his strong arm, trying to soothe him. "is everything okay?"
heeseung relaxed his body, sighing and pulling you into a hug. "he was all over you. did you not notice?" you face was buried in his chest. you shook your head, taking in the scent of the cologne he was wearing. "he was eating you with his eyes. it made my blood boil."
heeseung was always overprotective when it came to you and other men who weren't him or his friends. it made you slowly fall in love with him. he treated you just the right way, but you were afraid he didn't feel the same. it is a hard world for women, after all. maybe he's just being cautious.
-
some time passed, and you were both at his house for a sleepover. heeseung didn't like the idea of leaving you alone after the man hit you up in the middle of the day. he offered to walk you to your classes, even if it meant being late to his own.
everything went smoothly. you both baked some cookies and even played some games together. it was starting to get dark outside, and you decided it was a good idea to watch a movie.
heeseung was setting up the living room while you were in his bedroom bathroom, changing into something comfy. you had brought an oversized shirt you bought a while back along some shorts.
you walked out into the living room again, seeing your best friend laying on the pile of blankets that were on the floor. heeseung invited you to sit between his legs to cuddle, and you gladly took the spot.
-
half of the movie had gone by by now, and you were deeply into the plot. you were way too concentrated trying to figure out what would happen to notice heeseung shifting behind you. having your almost bare ass grinding against his crotch every time you got excited got him painfully hard.
without looking away from the tv, you put your hand behind you, trying to reposition yourself in your best friend's arms only to be greeted by something that was rock solid.
heeseung let out a whimper, biting the back of his hand as he threw his head back. you looked down to where your hand laid, noticing it was his dick you were touching. "oh my god! heeseung, im so sorry!"
you apologized, getting up and standing in front of him. his posture and the way he was breathing so hard made you get a weird feeling in your tummy. "it's okay, princess."
"i- did i do that?" you asked, pointing at his hard on. heeseung chuckled, "yeah, kind of." your face flushed bright red, looking away from him for a second. you sat back down, this time facing him. heeseung only smiled.
"does it hurt?" you asked again. you knew such things happened to men, but you couldn't help asking such stupid questions. "it does, pretty."
"is there a way i could help you feel better?"
his head shot up, using his elbows as support to look at you straight in the eyes. he was trying to look for some kind of hesitation, but all his eyes could see was your face staring down at his crotch, biting your lips.
"there is a way," he said, "but you have to trust me."
-
it took him five minutes to have you laying in his bedroom bed. you had decided to keep the oversized t-shirt on to which heeseung agreed. the least he wanted to do was make you uncomfortable.
he knew you were a virging, and that just added to the amount of horniness he was feeling at that moment. he positioned himself right between your legs and aligned his tip with your hole. "this is going to hurt, but i'll go as slow as i can, mkay?" you nodded, shutting your eyes closed.
"let me know if it gets too much."
he started going in slowly, stopping for a minute so you could adjust to his size. your mouth hung open, tiny gasps leaving you as he moved. your eyes couldn't stay shut, they were wide open staring at where yours and heeseung's body connected.
him, on the other hand, was fighting the urge to ram into you with no mercy. the way your pussy swallowed him, so tight and warm was driving him insane. once he was all the way in, he stayed there for a minute without moving at all.
" 'm gonna start moving."
heeseung started thrusting slowly, grunting and groaning at how tight you were. you held onto his srtong arms for dear life, gasping for air every time he moved. "h-hee, there's a strange feeling in my tummy."
heeseung's pace started picking up. "let it go, princess. don't hold it in."
your eyes rolled to the back of your head, screaming loudly as you felt the knot in your stomach come undone. the feeling of your warm juicies added to heeseung's pleasure. he was bearing his own climax, holding your hips tightly as he kept fucking you.
the pleasure started turning into pain on your side, the sensation being too much for your (no longer) virgin self to take. you tried kicking and pushing him away, but it was no use. he was stronger.
"so sensitive and so fucking mine."
with one last thrust, heeseung pulled out and cummed right on your tummy. your body was shaking hard, reaching yet another orgasm.
"you did so good for me, love. so perfect."
he kissed your temple, grabbing his shirt from the floor to clean you up. "what does this make us?" you asked between breaths. "boyfriend and girlfriend," heeseung replied. "don't worry, i'll ask you again properly, but let's enjoy this moment for now."

Winter Melody
Childhood best friend!Heeseung x reader
You were just taking a casual walk, when all of sudden, you spot someone you were the least expecting to see.
Genre: fluff, kissing, aloootttt of fluff, fluff hi, did I say fluff?, little suggestive at the end, oh and also fluff ;3 | wc: 2.2k
The first snow of the season had come early, blanketing the city in a soft, untouched white. You tugged your scarf tighter around your neck, pulling your hands into your coat pockets as the gentle crunch of snow beneath your boots became the only sound in the quiet park. Holiday lights strung across bare branches sparkled with a warm glow, casting a magical light over everything.
This walk was meant to clear your mind, a brief escape before winter exams and family holiday plans took over. You were so lost in thought that you almost didnât notice the figure standing under a streetlight up ahead, leaning against a tree with hands in his pockets. Something about the way he stood looked familiar.
Then it hit you.
âHeeseung?â you called out, voice breathy from surprise.
He looked up, and a slow, easy smile spread across his face. âY/n? I didnât expect to see you here.â
You took a few steps forward, hardly believing your eyes. Heeseung Lee, your childhood friend whoâd moved away years ago, was standing right in front of you. He looked older, his face sharper, but his smile held the same warmth you remembered.
âWhat are you doing here?â you asked, still half-convinced this was some winter dream.
âVisiting for the holidays,â he said, shrugging. âMy parents missed the quiet life here. And, I guess I missed it too.â
You both laughed, an unspoken nostalgia in the air. There had been so many moments like this when you were younger, wandering the neighborhood together or building snowmen in your backyards. It felt surreal to see him here again, like youâd stepped back in time.
After a beat of silence, Heeseung spoke. âHey, how about some hot chocolate? Thereâs a cafĂŠ just down the street. Letâs catch up.â
You agreed, and soon you were sitting across from each other in a cozy corner of a small cafĂŠ. The two of you fell into easy conversation, sharing stories about high school, family, and all the things you hadnât told each other since heâd moved away. Heeseung told you about his life in the cityâhis school, new friends, and everything heâd missed about this place.
Hours slipped by as you talked. The cafĂŠâs warmth, the comforting hum of soft music, and the flickering candle on the table made everything feel just right. You laughed and reminisced, falling back into that old familiarity, yet something felt different now, too. There was a tension between you, something you couldnât quite name.
He looked at you, his gaze lingering. âYou know, I thought about calling you so many times, butâŚI didnât want to be just a voice from the past.â
You looked down, heart racing. âI thought about you too, Heeseung. I guess I didnât think youâd remember me.â
He chuckled softly. âHow could I forget? You were always there for me.â
The days flew by, and meeting Heeseung became part of your routine. You explored the townâs winter markets, tried seasonal treats, and found yourselves wandering through snowy paths and taking in the holiday lights together. Each moment felt like a gift, like you were getting to know each other all over again.
One afternoon, you decided to go ice skating at an outdoor rink. Heeseung laughed as you stumbled onto the ice, gripping the railing tightly. He skated over to you, holding out his hand with a playful smile.
âNeed some help?â
You nodded, feeling your face heat up as you took his hand. He guided you around the rink, his laughter filling the air whenever you wobbled. Eventually, you managed to skate without holding on, the both of you gliding side by side, snowflakes catching in his dark hair. You stole a glance at him, heart fluttering. He seemed so at ease, so genuinely happy.
As the sky turned a soft pink with sunset, you both left the rink and wandered back to the park. Heeseung stopped, looking up at the holiday lights hanging from the trees.
âThis place really hasnât changed much,â he said, his voice soft.
âNeither have you,â you replied, feeling a mix of nostalgia and something more. âItâs like youâre the same Heeseung, butâŚalso not. In a good way.â
He looked at you, and for a moment, the air between you felt charged. âIâm glad we met again, Y/N. I didnât realize how much I missed this.â
He took a small step closer, and you could feel the warmth radiating from him despite the cold. You both lingered there, inches apart, your breath visible in the night air. Just when you thought he might say something more, he smiled softly, stepping back.
âI should get you home. Itâs getting late.â
In the days that followed, you both grew closer. Heeseung became a comforting presence in your life, someone who understood you in a way that felt deeper than before. But the feeling growing in your chest, a warmth that stirred every time he looked at you, made you wonder if this friendship had changed.
One night, you couldnât keep it to yourself any longer. You invited Heeseung to the park and met him near the same streetlight where youâd first run into each other. Snow fell gently around you, blanketing the world in a peaceful quiet.
Heeseung walked up, his breath fogging the air. âYou sounded serious on the phone. Is everything okay?â
You nodded, gathering your courage. âI just⌠I wanted to tell you something.â
He looked at you expectantly, his dark eyes full of warmth.
âThese last few weeks have been amazing,â you began, your voice soft. âI didnât realize how much I missed you. And I thought maybeâŚâ You took a shaky breath. âMaybe this isnât just friendship for me anymore.â
There was a beat of silence, and then, without a word, Heeseung took a step forward, closing the distance between you. He reached out, his hands gently framing your face, his gaze searching yours.
âI was hoping youâd say that,â he whispered.
And before you could respond, his lips met yours. It was a gentle, warm kiss, one that felt like the answer to every question you hadnât dared to ask. Snowflakes fell around you, the world fading into a quiet, beautiful blur as you melted into his embrace.
When you finally pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours, a soft smile on his face.
âI came back for the holidays, butâŚI think I might stay a little longer,â he said, his voice full of promise.
You laughed, feeling lighter than you had in a long time. âIâd like that.â
As you stood there together, snow drifting around you and holiday lights twinkling in the background, you knew this was only the beginning.
The days after that kiss were a blur of laughter, stolen glances, and small moments that felt bigger than they were. The holidays were in full swing, and with every shared coffee, every walk under the twinkling lights, you found yourself falling deeper into Heeseungâs presence.
One evening, the two of you found yourselves sitting by a window at a cafĂŠ, the soft glow of the lights outside casting shadows over the table. You had just finished a light dinner, but neither of you seemed in a hurry to leave. The snow continued to fall gently outside, the world muffled in white silence.
You took a sip of your hot chocolate, your fingers lingering on the rim of the cup. Your eyes met Heeseungâs across the table, his gaze warm, unwavering. There was something in his eyes, something more than the playful teasing that had marked your earlier conversations.
He smiled, but there was a softness to it now, an intimacy that hung between the two of you, unspoken but understood.
âIâm really glad we found each other again,â Heeseung said, his voice low and steady. âI didnât realize how much I missed having you in my life until we started talking again.â
You placed your cup down, suddenly feeling the gravity of his words. The world outside seemed to pause as you sat in that moment, your heart racing as you stared back at him. There was a connection here, something undeniable that you didnât want to ignore anymore.
âIâve missed you too,â you said, your voice a little softer than you intended.
The silence that followed was comfortable, full of quiet understanding. Heeseung leaned forward slightly, his hand reaching across the table to rest near yours. You didnât pull away.
The warmth of his hand so close to yours sent a spark of electricity through your chest. The air between you felt charged, and for a moment, it felt as though everything else had disappeared. Your pulse quickened as you instinctively moved your hand closer to his.
Heeseung gently brushed his fingers against yours, the light touch enough to send a flutter through your stomach. He leaned in, his voice barely above a whisper.
âI donât want to rush anything,â he said, his lips close to your ear, âbut I want to make sure you know how much I care about you.â
Your breath hitched, your heart pounding in your chest. His words were everything youâd been hoping for, yet still felt surreal, like something out of a dream.
Slowly, you turned your hand over, offering it to him. Heeseungâs fingers entwined with yours, and you couldnât help but smile at the way it felt so right.
He moved closer, his face just inches from yours now. His breath was warm against your skin, and his gaze flickered down to your lips. You could feel the tension building, the sweet anticipation that hung in the air.
âYouâre everything Iâve been looking for,â he murmured.
Before you could respond, he closed the small gap between you, his lips pressing gently against yours. It was soft at first, tender, almost like he was testing the waters, unsure but hopeful. And when you kissed him back, it was like everything clicked into place. It was a kiss filled with all the unspoken words, the confessions youâd both been holding onto for far too long.
His hand moved to cup your cheek, deepening the kiss just slightly, his lips moving with yours in a slow, deliberate rhythm. The world outside the cafĂŠ ceased to exist. All that mattered was the closeness, the warmth between you, the way his lips felt against yours, the way your heart fluttered at each touch.
When you finally pulled back, breathless and smiling, Heeseung rested his forehead against yours. The soft, quiet sound of his laughter filled the space between you.
âYou donât know how long Iâve wanted to do that,â he admitted, his voice a bit breathless, his hands still holding yours.
âI think I have an idea,â you teased, a smile playing on your lips.
âIâm serious,â Heeseung continued, his voice quieter now. âIâve wanted this for so long, but I didnât want to rush it. I didnât want to mess things up with you.â
You shook your head, a small laugh escaping your lips. âYou could never mess things up with me, Heeseung.â
There was a long, peaceful silence between you, the two of you simply holding hands across the table, the warmth of each otherâs touch enough to silence the rest of the world.
Heeseungâs thumb traced small, comforting circles on the back of your hand, and his eyes softened as he looked at you.
âWhatever happens,â he said quietly, âIâm glad itâs you.â
You smiled, squeezing his hand. âMe too.â
And for the first time in a long while, you felt like everything was falling into place. The season of change, of rediscovery, had brought you both togetherâand nothing else seemed more perfect than this moment, with him by your side.
Okkehyyyh ANYWAYYYYSSSS THAYS ALL I rushed this because I was bored in tech class⌠:$
Iâm debating wether to make this a series or not

Points Have Been Made - Charles Leclerc/Reader/Max Verstappen
Words: 3,363 Summary: Max and Charles find out something happened to their girlfriend. Note(s): Thank you Mak for commissioning this! Mentions of medical stuff, infertility (not reader). One German word, one Dutch word, some French words. Jenson Button appears in this fic, because uh, well, I love him and honestly, Iâd like to think (write) him having a weird soft spot for Max (and Charles) after seeing him more recently around Logan.
Masterlist | Support Me!
âMax.â
He lets out a hum, his focus on the car and racing line into turn nine.
âBox box.â
âWhat?â His eyes flick up to where a yellow or red flag would be waved but there isnât anything. âIâve only done three laps on these tires.â
âBox box.â
His brows furrow beneath his helmet and balaclava at the non-answer.
Pulling off the track and into the pit lane, his fingers tap against the wheel as they pull his car back into the garage. He sits there expecting the mechanics to make some sort of adjustments but instead they start doing what they do at the end of a session, cooling the car down, prepping it for its next use.
He feels a slight pressure to the top of his helmet and then GP is in his line of sight, leaning into his space and car, perfectly helping to cover him with the mechanics and engineers, so the camera canât see inside. âSomething happened, Max. Session is over for you.â
His heart starts thudding in his chest, panic threatening to overtake him. âWhat happened?â His voice is muffled by the helmet but he knows that GP hears it from the way his frown deepens.
âOut of the car, Max. Weâre doing our best to not let cameras see in, but who knows how long that will last.â
Max looks at the mechanics and engineers and only now takes note of how theyâre standing. Itâs a carefully constructed wall, not allowing the cameras to see him at all. âAlright.â He murmurs.
He focuses on his hands as he disconnects the steering wheel, resting it on top of the car before pulling his gloves off. He doesnât know why but he expects them to be shaking, but theyâre perfectly still, like always. Jaw clenched, he stands, bending at the waist to grab the steering wheel and put it back on before hopping out of the car.
Itâs odd to take his helmet off, passing it gratefully to Annie who whisks it and his gloves away.
âWhat happened?â He asks GP again.
A hand is pressed against his back, pushing him to walk and he does. Undoing the near too tight collar of the race suit as he walks. Itâs only once theyâve nearly disappeared behind the wall, where outside cameras arenât allowed that GP speaks. âItâs about Y/N.â And the rug disappears out from underneath his feet.
â
âIâm okay, mama. I promise.â She says, tucking the phone between her shoulder and ear as she rubs at her head.
âYouâre sick. And I know that neither Max or Charles is with you.â
âI will be okay, Iâm a big girl.â
âYou're my baby.â
Her heart clenches at her momâs words. All of her friends growing up and even some now all thought of her mother as overbearing, with the weekly phone calls, daily check-ins and texts, but she was her motherâs only child. She grew up knowing that she was supposed to have siblings, that she was never supposed to be an only child, but it hadnât worked that way for her mother and it had made her protective of her only child.
âI know, mama. But Iâm okay.â Her words nearly flatter as a wave of dizziness hits her, but she pushes it away, clutching at the counter with her left hand as her right rubs at her temple. âThe weather just changed here in Monaco. Yâknow how that goes.â
Her mom makes a noise, not believing her.
âPascale will be coming over for dinner, to check on me. Charlesâ orders. Will you believe her?â
âOh, kindchen.â Her voice is soft, so reminiscent of her childhood. âIt is not that I donât believe you. It is that you are always the last to notice when you are unwell.â
âI will be okay and she will text you to update you. Now go to your book club. I know that it is today.â
âItâs not a book club!â
âItâs a book club, mama.â She laughs, wincing immediately at the way the movement makes her feel unsteady.
âIâll call you first thing tomorrow alright?â
âAlright.â She agrees. âLove you.â
âI love you too.â
As soon as her mom hangs up, she takes a deep ragged breath. Her hand on her forehead, thatâs damp now with sweat which makes her nose wrinkles, grasps at her phone before setting it on the counter.
Itâs only when it knocks into something she realizes sheâs had her eyes closed and she doesnât know for how long. Opening them, she blinks at how bright the kitchen is. Turning her head slowly, her nose wrinkles up again at how the sun is positioned in the sky. No wonder it was so bright.
Letting go of the counter and taking a step towards the living room, she swears when a wave of dizziness rushes over again and sheâs clutching at the counter again. The edge of it digging into both of her palms.
âFuck.â She breathes when itâs passed. She watches as a bead of sweat drips off of her onto arm. She needed a shower. She needed to shower before Pascale got here. With the reminder of Pascale coming in a few hours she takes a few more deep breaths before letting go of the counter and walking.
Only it isnât just a wave of dizziness that hits her, but a tidal wave and before she can catch herself, she falls to the floor, head hitting the tile hard and knocking her out.
â
âWhat happened to her?â Max asks, feet seeming to be glued to the floor as GP tries to push him deeper. âGP, what happened?â
GP looks around before leaning into his space, a hand on the back of his neck pressing, and Max lets him push his head down. âPascale found her passed out, she hit her head on the way down. Theyâre still waiting for test results.â
âBut,â His mind is whirling, trying and failing to understand what is happening. âWhere is Charles?â
If GP is surprised by his next question he doesnât show it. âHeâs still out there. He just about told Xavi to fuck himself when Xavi told him to abort his lap.â
Normally that would make Max smirk, chuckle but he canât be bothered. âI need to tell him. He canât hear it from Xavi or Fred.â
âAndrea was going to tell him.â
Max shakes his head. âSheâs in Monaco. Charles canât find out by himself.â He looks at GP pleadingly and the older man nods.
âI know, go and get out of your race suit and you can go right on over. Fred is expecting you.â
Max quickly claps GP on the shoulder. âThank you. Thank you.â He rushes to say again as he moves quickly to his room.
â
Charles is grinning as his car is pulled into the garage. He doesnât know what Xavi was thinking, telling him to abandon that lap. It was amazing. And yes he knew that his session was over, cut short due to a new setup that they wanted to try out, but it was fine. This track had always treated him nicely and with this car, it would hopefully even treat him to a win or he mused considering Max, second place.
Climbing out of the car and pulling his gloves and then helmet off, he doesnât notice the way the engineers and mechanics are blocking the cameras from seeing anything, or the worried looks from Fred and Xavi. He just notices the worry on Andreaâs face when he catches sight of Max, standing just out of sight if you look into the garage, close to where the drivers rooms are. And he does notice the look on Maxâs face, it makes his stomach drop and he rushes to him, not even murmuring a thank you to Jean who takes his helmet and gloves from him.
âMax,â he breathes, hands fluttering before they rest gently on his face. âWhat happened, mon coeur?â
âCharles,â his name is broken up by a stuttered breath.
âDid something happen to Sophie? Vic? Luke? Leo? Jos?â
Max shakes his head at every name.
Dread fills him even more. âY/N?â
Maxâs eyes close and he nods.
âNo.â
âCharles.â Andreaâs voice is in his ear, ushering him forward. âLetâs get you both somewhere private.â
He nods, letting his hands fall away from Maxâs face, though he canât help but to grab Maxâs hand, intertwining their fingers, needing the touch, and Max clearly does too with the way he squeezes his hand back.
As soon as his driverâs room door shuts, Andrea speaks again before Charles can ask anything.
âPascale called me maybe ten minutes ago. She went over to yours for dinner, to check on Y/N and found her passed out on the kitchen floor.â
Charles makes a wounded noise and his already tight grip on Maxâs hand grows worse and the barely older man doesnât even wince or jump. Doesnât seem to notice.
âTheyâre at the hospital.â Andreaâs voice is somehow even gentler than before when he says it.
âThey are at?â
âYes.â
âOh, maman.â He murmurs, feeling tears prick his eyes and Max drops his hand, wrapping an arm around him, bringing him close.
âThey are waiting for test results.â Max says. âGP made me box. He told me and I rushed over here.â
âI,â Charles shudders. âIs she okay? I mean she passed out on the floor. How?â
âI donât know. They only just got there or at least thatâs what it sounded like.â
Charles nods.
âThank you, Andrea. For getting a hold of GP.â
Andrea sends Max a look. âOf course, Max.â
Andrea leaves the room, leaving them alone and Max as soon as the door shuts, wraps Charles completely in a hug, holding him tight as he tries to comfort himself with at least having one of his partners healthy and safe in his arms.
âI,â Charles struggles again. âI should call someone to go be with maman. She shouldnât be there alone. Not at least till I can get there.â
âCharles,â Max starts to say and Charles shakes his head, pushing away.
âNo, Max. I know it is a race weekend. But it is just a two-hour flight away, I can be back before qualifying if it is not too bad.â
âCharles,â he tries again.
âI have to go. I canât just be here while she is unwell.â
âCharles,â and this time Max is holding his face, making him incapable of speaking. âI am going with you. Fuck the race. If it is bad, it is not like we will lose our spots in the championship. Everyone else is more than forty points behind, we will be fine. Let me call my pilot, the jet will be ready by the time we get to the airport.â
âMerci, Max.â Charles breaths, pressing their lips together. âMerci.â
â
âPascale?â She mumbles when she opens her eyes and sees the woman sitting beside her. âDid I fall asleep?â
She tries to sit up but her head aches, making her groan, and Pascale is gently pushing her back down. âLay down, sweetheart.â
âWhat?â Her eyes wander around the room as she realizes this isnât her, Max, and Charles shared place. Itâs far too clean, sterile. She tries to lift her arm and winces when thereâs a tugging sensation. Her eyes fall to her arm and more confusion builds as she sees an IV. âPascale, what happened?â
âI found you passed out on the kitchen floor.â
âBut,â she couldnât have passed out. Right? Her mind struggled to remember it. She knew she had been feeling dizzy, but enough to pass out. âAre we at the hospital?â
âWe are.â Pascaleâs hand pats hers. âI will be right back. Iâm going to get the nurse, okay?â
She nods and as Pascale darts out the room, her eyes land on someone sitting just outside her room. âJenson?â
â
âAnything new?â
Charles shakes his head, frowning at his phone. âLike before, they knew that she was dehydrated as soon as she came in but they are still waiting for everything else to come back.â
âWhat is taking so long? Is it money?â Max runs his hand through his hair, before he looks at Charles. âCall them, the hospital. Throw your name around, prince of Monaco.â
âMax.â Charles hisses. âI am not the prince of Monaco. And I canât call them. Nothing will happen if I call.â He huffs, slumping back in his seat.
Itâs silent for a moment.
âAre you,â
âYes, Iâm sure, Max.â He reaches over and squeezes Maxâs hand before tangling their fingers together, lifting them to give him a kiss. âWe will be there soon.â
â
She tries her best to focus on the doctor as they examine her but her eyes keep going to Jenson. Now inside of her room and standing in the corner, arms crossed over his chest as he watches intently.
âYou have a mild concussion from the fall. The back of your head will be tender.â
âBut why did she faint?â
The doctor frowns, âNormally Iâd have the answer for you. But our lab is abnormally backed up and we are down to one lab technician. As soon as the results are in, I will be back to give them to you.â
âTake your time.â She smiles.
Jenson shakes his head when the doctor leaves. âHow does Monaco, of all places, have only one lab technician working?â
âJenson, what are you doing here?â
He smiles at her, coming closer to her and bending quickly to press a kiss to her cheek. âMax texted me. Asked me to keep you and Pascale company. I was already here in Monaco.â
She smiles at the older driver. He and Maxâs friendship wasnât too well known, but they talked often. Then she frowns, because Max had asked him. âMax asked you?â Her eyes then look over at Pascale.
âI texted Andrea.â
She nods. âCan you tell them Iâm okay? There is no need to worry.â
âSweetheart.â
âPascale, Iâm okay. I havenât felt dizzy since I woke up, my head hurts a little from the concussion thatâs all.â
Before Pascale can respond her attention is drawn away by the sound of the room door practically being thrown up and two voices on top of each other.
âChĂŠrie!â
âSchat!â
â
âWe were so worried.â Charles murmurs, holding her face gently.
âHow is your head feeling?â Max asks, sitting beside her on the bed, arm wrapped around her.
âIâm okay.â She smiles at both of them. âMy head hurts a bit, but that will go away soon enough.â
Charles frowns, fingers gently brushing over her cheekbones, before he drops his hands to hold both of hers. âAre you sure? Iâm sure we could get you some meds.â
âIâm sure, Prince Charles could get you some meds.â Max whispers in her ear making her laugh while Charles sends him a dirty look, though a smile is playing on his lips.
âDonât listen to him, chĂŠrie.â
She smiles at Charles, carefully leaning forward to press their lips together. Before being even more careful as she turns her head to kiss Max.
âThank you both for coming.â
âOf course.â
âWouldnât want to be anywhere else.â
Charles and her both look at Max, eyebrows raised.
âOkay, I can think of places Iâd rather we be.â He admits.
Charles shakes his head, âso silly.â He murmurs, leaning across her to kiss Max. âNow, why donât we have your test results back yet?â
âThereâs a backlog.â Jenson says, grinning when Charles jumps at the sound of his voice. âMax sent me over to keep them company as soon as you guys figured out the game plan.â
Charlesâ entire face softens and Max flushes at the look their boyfriend sends him.
âAnd they only have one lab technician.â
Max lets out a curse. âDid you try bribing them?â
âI could go try if youâd like.â
Max starts to nod, but a knock sounds on the door and it opens.
She watches as the doctor blinks at the two new people in her room but ignores them, focusing on her. âIâve got your results right here. Hypoglycemia. Low blood sugar and I mean very low blood sugar. Whenâs the last time you ate?â
Her brows furrow.
She remembered eating Tuesday night with Max and Charles before they left. A nice dinner that her and Max made, Charles pouring them more drinks or chopping and stirring things. But she had eaten something the next morning hadnât she? Her head throbs as she thinks, but she ignores it, trying to remember and winces from both the pain and the realization that she hadnât eaten anything since Tuesday night.
âTuesday night. I was going to eat breakfast on Wednesday but we were out of my breakfast bars and then I got so busy and I just wasnât hungry.â
âAre you not hungry often?â
âSometimes. But even then I make sure to eat at least one meal a day, I snack throughout. Iâve never done this before.â
They nod. âAs long as this isnât a normal occurrence, I donât see an issue. But, you need to make sure you are eating often. You donât want to be back in here because you forgot to eat and it made your blood sugar drop.â
âOf course. Thank you so much.â
They nod. âIâll get your discharge paperwork done and as soon as youâre finished with the bag, youâll be free to go.â
â
âWhen are you guys flying back?â She asks, Maxâs head in her lap, her fingers combing through his hair as she leans against Charles.
Max makes a face. âWe wonât be.â
Charles and him had both talked about it as they got Pascale home and she settled in. Their teams would be unhappy, but it wasnât like they could be overtaken in the championship. They could live. And they had two weeks after this with no racing. Two weeks where they could make sure she was eating, taking care of herself. And sheâd be going to the next race anyway. This had been a sort of one-off due to all the things that had piled up at home.
âWhat do you mean you wonât be?â
âWe can miss a race. Max is twenty points ahead of me, I am forty-seven points ahead of Oscar.â
âI have so many questions about that.â She murmurs, because god what was this season. Checo barely hung onto fourth in the championship with George hunting him down, Lewis and Lando hunting down George. Barely fifteen points collectively separating third to seventh.
Charles snorts. âMany people would like to know the same.â
âYou should go though. Put more of a lead in the points.â
Max and Charles share a look, a bit hard with their positions but they manage. âNo.â They both agree.
âI can survive not even two days. Iâll go stay with Pascale. Have Arthur stay with me. Or Jenson since heâs here in Monaco.â
âNo.â They say again at the same time.
âYou are far more important than another twenty-five or eighteen points.â Max continues.
She sighs, looking at them both. âThree stubborn people is way too many people in a relationship.â
âI think itâs perfect.â
âSuck up.â Max coughs and Charles flicks him on the forehead.
âSays you.â
âBoys, settle down.â
âLove you.â They chorus.
She shakes her head, sighing. âIf you will not go without me, I will just go with you.â
âYou have a concussion.â
âA mild concussion. And we all know that you have flown before with a concussion, Charles.â
He pouts, âit was just once.â
âTwice.â Max coughs and Charles flicks him again.
âI will go with you tomorrow. Just please make the flight later than eight am.â
âDone.â Max says, already texting his flight crew.
âThank you.â She starts to bend to kiss Max, when her face is redirected to look at Charles and he kisses her.
She expects Max to whine but as soon as Charles is done, Max is turning her head the other way, no longer laying in her lap, to kiss her as well.

Melon didn't stand a chance.
One moment he's staring the end of their journey over the horizon, and the next he's sent plummeting into the awaiting maw of the trench he stood over by a hearty smack of a claw.
He yelps as he tumbles, twisting in the air for a heartstopping moment before his back meets a crag. Mario's cries are muted by rushing wind as he slips again, falling falling falling--
A heavy thud echoes as he collides--bounces-- off another rock face. His ears rings with the rattling in his skull---
A sharp thwack of his head hitting a jutting ledge, and suddenly Melon doesn't hear-- or feel-- much of anything the rest of the way down.
A metal tang coats his tongue red, and the sting of the air bites against his bruises.
No weight on his back anymore--Â
Everything hurts.Â
--the boy...Mario. Where's Mario? D-did he fall too--
Can't move.
--he needs to get up. His human cub, he could be hurt o-or--- get up--
Stay down.
--get up get up GET UP--Â
Melon stays down, can't muster the strength to listen to the mantra in his head. Instead, all he hears is the desperate wails of Mario, and it's enough to force his eyes open just a sliver. He blearily looks up.
At the edge of the cliff he tumbled from stands the silhouettes he can only barely make out; three huge, three smaller, all laughing and pointing and grinning toothily at the heap of him. The leader- and he must be, with how he leers cockily over the ledge-- sneers down at him.
"Thank ye for the delivery, lad! We've been lookin' all over for this little bastard," he says, and without a care he swings a hollering Mario over the ledge by the scruff. The boy twists precariously in his grip --one slip from falling-- and reaches out for Melon with terrified tears in his eyes. He wails some semblance of his name, and Melon feels his gut twist.
no
"Come now, lad, I see that long face from here; ye nothin' to worry about! Brat may've been a pain in the arse to get, but it'll be worth it in the end. Pirate's Honor: we'll take real good care of 'em," The leader gloats, ugly grin stretching wider as he flicks the boy's nose with a sharp claw. "Just like we have his snivellin' flake of a brother. They'll fetch a fine cut yet."
No no no give him back
"I reckon ye wanna say g'bye at least, aye? I could grant that much, bein' a frog of honor and wot-not." The captain holds Mario high above his head, like an angler would his prized catch, and grins down at Melon from his spot above.
"Go on then. Tell 'em 'afore I change me mind."
Something twisted and ugly clogs Melon's throat with bile and copper. He bares his teeth and tries tries tries to bark, to roar, anything to demand his human cub back to him.
GIVE HIM BACK, his mind screetches. But all that crawls out of his mouth is a rattling, broken whimper. It drags his strength with it by the scruff, spilling in a tiny puddle of spittle and grime and blood as his vision begins to waver. His eyes glaze over and fall closed against his will.
And within the canopy of booming laughs and grating cackles, the last thing Melon hear is Mario's cries.
--------------------------------------------
AND HERE IT IS.
Part 10 of Melon's Adventure, FINALLY COMPLETE, and with it Arc 1 of this story has come to a close!
I'm glad I managed to finish this arc even with it being forced into a hiatus alongside my burnout months back; I had an absolute blast revisiting my childhood and telling the story in a way I've always imagined it as a kid.
Now, given that it's been a while since the last part, I've taken the liberty to compile all of Melon's Adventure into the #melon's adventure tag for ease of access if you'd like to read it back from the beginning!
Despite this marking the end of Arc 1, I'm hoping to make this the start of me delving back into my Super Mario AU, albeit in a slightly different way. There's still plenty of stories there I'd love to share with ya'll. :>
In fact, in related news: I'm actually planning on opening an online store, and my first planned launch will be themed on Melon's Adventure! More information to come on that relatively soon as more work is done.
At any rate, I hope ya'll enjoyed this story! More to come soon! owo

god ur horny coryo fics are literally giving me life
horny coryo jerking off thinking about reader? perhaps his best friend đ and like he feels so guilty but thinking about them is the only way he can actually finish ??
nsfw | mdni | fem!reader
please the horny coryo agenda is my fucking favorite thing ever! this may be a bit rushed so i apologize but i hope you enjoy!!
i feel like you and coryo wouldâve been like childhood friends. your fathers were quite close so therefore the two of you were close as well. but your family has always been well off while coryoâs obviously struggled. you never ever judged him for it though. always being there for him when he needed it, letting him stay at your house when nights were just too cold, always giving him extra food because heâs a growing boy.
so naturally, you guys are best of friends.
when you guys hit puberty together, coriolanus couldnât ignore how attractive you had gotten. and by the time the two of you were eighteen, he couldnât deal with how attractive you had become. you guys would attend a party at the Academy together and you were dressed in this beautiful silk dress that hugged your curves so beautifully and exposed a good amount of your clevage.
coriolanus couldnât help it when his cock just started straining so tight in his pants at just the sight of you. he felt guilty about it, dirty even. youâre the person he grew up with, the person he had seen at their worst and lowest point and vice versa. but when i say he ran to the bathroom and into a stall, he ran into a bathroom, into the stall, locked the door, and immediately unbuttoned his dress pants enough to shove a hand in there.
his cock was so hard and leaking that he just couldnât help it. your beautiful plump red lips, your long gorgeous legs, your smooth skin. he leaned his head against the bathroom stall door as he stroked himself fast, needing that relief. he thought about your curves and how your tits were almost showing in that beautiful dress.
he brought his other hand to his mouth, trying to stop himself from moaning as he fisted his cock. his movements were hard and fast, desperate to release. he wanted nothing more than to bend you over and take you in front of everyone, to feel your velvety walls around his cock.
and with a sharp inhale, coriolanus came in his hand, spurts of cum coating his underwear and hand. he took a few minutes, breathing heavily in the bathroom stall before taking his hand out of his pants. he buttoned them back up, walked out to the sink and washed his hands. he composed himself before walking out of the bathroom and back to the party.
âhey, where were you?â you asked as you spotted coriolanus, walking up to him and putting a hand on his arm.
coriolanus simply looked at you with a smile. âthe posca had gone right through me. i was in the bathroom.â he said, looking down at you with his piercing blue eyes. he felt the guilt buried within him. but honestly, is it really so bad to want to fuck your best friend?

Call Out My Name
pairing: hero!joon x villain!reader
genre: angst, hero au, 18+
summary: Local hero, RM, calls out your name, not your alias.
wc: 1k
warnings: crimes (mostly theft), fighting, violence, reader has fireballs that shoot from her hands, mention of death
date: September 12, 2024
Three years youâd been fighting the irksome RM, in his black hero costume that showed off his amazing pecs.
Three long years of fighting over your crimes, your desire for more, your desire to win.
Time after time RM had come to stop you. It seemed heâd find you at the drop of a dime, always there even before the cops were called or the alarms blared in annoyance to ruin your scheme.
You paid it no mind. Your eyes were set on sparkling jewels, loaded bank vaults, and the jets of the rich and famous. Stacks and stacks of cash fill one of your homes by the sea, a secret destination only you knew about.Â
RM arrives at the rooftop as the blades from your acquired helicopter make it hard to hear anything except the blaring of the alarms from the bank store ten floors below. Youâre so close to your escape, your sidekick sitting in the helicopter waiting for you before he takes off. Time is ticking, he wonât wait forever.
You toss the money bags toward him, ignoring RMâs shouts for you to cease.Â
âThat doesnât belong to you!â He shouts and you barely make out the words over the helicopter blades.Â
âEverything can belong to me if I take it, sweetheart,â you grin as you prepare to step into the helicopter to your escape.
RM throws his rope with the grappling hook at the end and catches your villain suit, tugging you toward him.Â
What a fool.
You knew better than to turn your back on an enemy.
What a rookie mistake.
Your body soars through the air but you spin and catch yourself on your fingertips, much like a cat landing on its feet. Youâre agile, able to slink unnoticed most of the time but RM is always at the right place at the wrong time.Â
Something about him has always struck a chord inside you. Thatâs possibly why you did your best not to harm him too roughly. He had a strong physique but his heart seemed tender, especially when it came to you. He always softened his punches when it came to a fistfight.Â
âYou always have to ruin my plans, RM! This is the last time you do,â you announce as you rip the hook and toss it over the edge of the building. Your heels click as they cross the distance between you, your eyes locked on his.Â
RM huffs, his arm blocking the punch you try to land. You curse, immediately going for another punch before the two of you fight and land blows against his concrete chest.Â
âIs that the best youâve got?â RM goads as he dodges a punch and then a kick to the shin. You growl, ducking and diving to avoid his hits.Â
You flip back twice and then forward once. You need to distract him long enough to get into the air.Â
RM approached you but you flipped forward as he took steps backward to avoid your kicks and the fireballs aimed at him.Â
He teeters on the edge of the building, losing his balance and falling off the roof.Â
You watch in horror, frozen in your spot. You never meant to kill him.Â
Your name fills the air in a terrified shout. Not your villain alias, your real name. Your heart thunders in your ears as your name is called out once more.Â
You approach the edge of the building. RM grips the edge, his body dangling as he looks up at you with a pleading look. His grip loosens, he looks down, his fingers slipping off the edge as he meets your gaze one last time.Â
His hand lets go.
You catch him by the hand before he can plummet.
âYou know my name,â You state as you pull him over the edge and onto the roof. The helicopter blades grow louder as your sidekick takes off leaving you behind, but you donât give a damn as you stare at those deep brown eyes that make your heart flip.
âIâve always known your name,â Namjoon responds as he removes his mask. âHow could I not?â
Your childhood friend stands before you, his dark hair falling over his eyes. Those familiar dragon eyes that make your heart skip a beat.
âYou knew,â you whisper as you fall to your knees. Your hands tremble as you place them on your lap. Your crimes had almost led to your best friend's death.Â
Namjoon watches you intently, approaching you. He throws his mask as far away as possible. You canât face him. You wonât.
You rise to your feet, running away from him.
Namjoon calls out your name, but you donât stop running. You jump from one building to the next with him hot on your tail.
âPlease,â he grips your arms when he finally catches you. âDonât run from me.â
âYou could have died!â you screech, tears rolling down your cheeks. âYou almost died! I almost lost you, Joon!â
âBut you didnât! Okay?! You didnât. Iâm right here,â Namjoon holds you tighter, pulling you into his broad chest as you sob. Your arms wrap around him as he rubs your back. âIâm right here.â
âIâm sorry,â you cry. âIâm so, sorry.â
âShh,â Namjoon hushes you as he holds you.Â
âHow long did you know?â you ask in between hiccups as you wipe your eyes.
âSince you first ran out of the house with your mask in your hand. You stole that black diamond from the museum downtown.â Namjoon shakes his head.
âWhy didnât you stop me?â
âBecause I love you,â Namjoon answers honestly. âIâve always loved you.â
Youâre left speechless.
Namjoon doesnât expect an answer from you as he takes a step back.Â
âYou canât have your life of crime and me. Itâs one or the other,â Namjoon states firmly as he heads to the edge of the building.
âNamjoon!â you shout, chasing after him.
Namjoon smiles, âJust call out my name when youâve decided.â
âDonât go!â You yell, new tears pooling in your eyes.
He doesnât stop, instead he throws himself over the building. You scream his name as you race to the edge, your heart dropping to your feet before you see Namjoon land on his feet and take off down the road.
âNamjoon,â you whisper. âI choose you. Iâll always choose you.â

Hello! May I please request Richard sterling x childhood friend reader!!
Absolutely my love<3 if Iâm being honest I feel like I write for Richard better than anyone else, but you all can be the judge of that! This was from November and Iâm so sorry I only got to it now.
-Angst-
"The place where it started and ended."
Contains; fluff; angst; bad ending; reader doesnât make it; Canon Richard;
Richard met you by the creek as a young boy, from then on you have been best friends. Friends share secrets, but some arenât always meant to be told. Now he must tie up some loose ends.
Richard loved playing by the lake before he was brought into the family.
Thatâs how he met you, after seeing how lonely you were sitting by the waters edge skipping rocks.
After that fateful day, youâve been attached to each other.
Even after he was taken in by that rich family. He would still make time for you.
Sparring, walking, talking, anything you wanted.
That lake would be the meeting spot for a lot of late night rendezvous.
Whispers and silent laughter would be forever embedded into the water.
But after a few drinks and a slip of the tongue, Richard had told you his terrible plans.
When he realized it was too late, he now had to do what he feared.
â___! Get back here. NOW.â He yelled after you, chasing you across the moist grass.
Your heart was pounding in your ears, trying to get away as fast as possible.
You never believed he would hurt anyone, he was always so gentle. Or maybe youâve been a fool.
The truth hit hard, and it started to make sense.
How his step-sister would often get injured, or worse deathly ill. How his step-family would sometimes not be heard of for a few days.
The cruel things people would do for money. How far heâd go just to make sure he achieved his goal was despicable.
He was going to kill you.
With no remorse.
And it broke your heart.
You loved him, and it was even more of a slap in the face because all the things youâve gone through was just dumped down the drain.
The years youâve wasted. The time you spent. If only you could have seen what a manipulative, heartless, man he was behind that beautiful facade.
The thin snow crunching under your feet as the wet grass made a splat sound under you was loud. But not enough to draw attention.
Richard grunted and ran faster, lunging at you and tackling you to the ground.
A hand over your throat, and another digging into the ground next to your head.
âIt didnât have to be this way. We couldâve worked together, but knowing you, youâd blab to the police.â He huffed out, breathing heavily.
âI could just tell them that youâre insane, that youâve lost it. Though, there is the off chance that theyâll believe you, so Iâm not going to risk it. This ends here.â
Your fingernails dig into his wrist, pleading with him, while your vision blurs from the growing tears. âRichard please, what about us? Do I mean so little to you? Has greed clouded your judgment to the point of blindness? Where is your rationality?â
He grips a little tighter, âBefore I was a replacement I was a poor little boy with nothing to my name. Now I have an opportunity, a big one. And I will not let it pass me. Even if I have to make sacrifices, even if I have to do the worst thing imaginable. Just know, this hurts me more than it will hurt you.â
Your eyes widen as you realize what heâs about to do, legs kicking and hands tearing at his clothes while you scream for mercy.
Yet instead he takes a deep breath and the care in his eyes is gone. He looks at you like another bug and lifts your neck up only to slam it back onto the ground repeatedly. Letting the sickening crunch of your skull being smashed into the snowy surface fall on deaf ears.
He didnât stop until he recognized the familiar feeling of blood splattering onto his face.
Blinking a bit until he regained his senses.
âIâm sorry, my love. But it had to be done. In our next life, I will find you. And I will fix this.â He mumbles while dragging your lifeless corpse to the lakes edge and dumping you and the evidence in. Leaving only a small blood trail that will melt away in the morning.
This was definitely a bit dark, but I feel like itâs fitting. Nothing with Richard is nice, at least not on the surface. Thereâs always an underlying darkness to the things he does. Which makes it hard to tell if heâs being genuine.

The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable
This is one of my favorite episodes of season 3! I love the spencer family dynamics, i love thats its not a whodunit but more a wherebeit haha and its so funny too and much more.
We know Shawns not really psychic so how exactly did he do this?? He must have seen them somehow?? Or properly deduced exactly when lassie was going to be doing this and in which direction??? Idk
This was clearly bernson getting back at james ;)
Shawns ADHD is at an all time high this ep and specifically this scene
Totally tracks that uncle jack would take his whiz kid nephew to the tracks to place bets, but also i can kind if get why henry would be kind of pissy with Shawn that he would go with jack but not him now.
Ernesto âagapito garces con y a de abelarâ is just nonsense btw unless it was supposed to be like âagua pinto garces con y a de avelarâ which is roughly âwater i paint heron and to revealâ which is still nonsense haha
I love how much of a kid Shawn (and gus) becomes around jack. And i love that little scene when jack tells shawn âdidnât i always tell you youâd be great?â And you see Shawn soften and how much that meant to him growing up, especially since we know how henry was with him. So, i think that makes it hit even harder that one of the few people who believed in him and made him feel good about himself, turned out to be a selfish prick.
That being said, I think i might be the only one that likes uncle jack, and of all the characters they could have brought back, im the saddest they didnât bring him back. Jack could have brought so much more depth to henrys character and backstory. They could have mentioned, for instance, that because their dad wasnât really around, Henry was the one who practically raised jack on his own. He had to be the man of the house at a very early age. This would explain his tumultuous relationship with his own father and why henry is so strict (though, personally i headcanon that henrys dad was in trouble with the law a lot and one of the cops that knew about their situation took him in and became a father figure, which is why henry holds them to such high regard. They brought order to his chaotic life.) but jack never had to deal with that. He got to be a kid for the most part. So even though henry looks out for him still, a part of him also resents the fact that he didnât get the same carefree childhood.
I also, wonder though, if something happened when they were adults. Like, did jack use henrys influence as a cop to wiggle out a of tight spot and risked his job? Something must have happened that would make henry not trust his brother and i cant believe it was never explored. Theres so much spencer family angst potential there haha. I mean, i could have settled for even a short scene between jack and henry where theyâve both dropped the act and henry pretty much tells him not to get shawn in trouble and jack argues that hes an adult who can make his own decisions and to stop micromanaging everything. It could even sound exactly like an argument between shawn and henry and pull in their theme of henry not wanting shawn to turn out like him. Im just going to say it, they didnât let this character live up to his full potential.
He just looks so disappointed here đ. clearly he knew way before this point that jack was always using him, but all the same, jack straight up took the gold and ran. And lets say shawn actually did give him the coins-theres no way he would have paid that ransom. henry would have had to have forced him. (Also, would they have taken gus too, or would shawn have dragged him along because he didnât want to be a hostage by himself haha)
*sighs* this is peak james roday rodriguez for me
P.S is this kid okay?

â.ŕłŕż*:シđ A DATE AT THE AQUARIUM -- SAM WINCHESTER X FEM!READER
a fluffy fic for once !! i've been wanting to go to the aquarium for a while now , and what better way to fill that piece in my heart than a cute , fluffy sam aquarium date fic ?! i hope you all enjoy this one :)) thank you to riri (@rrylies) for beta reading and helping me with my fishy madness -- ILY !!!
my requests are open and if anyone wants a part 2 , let me know ! :)
sam winchester x fem!reader (romantic)
summary: reader has been on non-stop hunts for a while and needs a break . she loves going to the aquarium , so what better way for sam to cheer her up than an aquarium date ? :)
warnings: none !
word count: 914
the aquarium was always her favorite place to go. there wasnât much normalcy in the hunter life, but a trip to admire the fish always restored a little sense of peace in her heart. something about the aquarium always made her feel calm, and ever since her childhood her love for marine life had been as wild as she was.
after four months of hunt after hunt, that feeling had once again started to disappear. itâd been a long time since she last got to take a trip to the aquarium, and she was starting to miss it. she missed the dark environment, the subtle noise of the water sloshing around as she shivered and rubbed her arms from how cold it was. she missed it so much, yet didnât expect to be going any time soon because of how many hunting trips she and the winchester brothers had been taking.Â
so when sam, her most loving boyfriend, told her to get ready because they were going out for a while, to get out of the continually shrinking walls of their motel room, she thought nothing of it. she assumed they were just going for a drive, maybe theyâd stop and get something to eat along the way. and when she realized sam was pulling into the parking lot of an aquarium, her eyes absolutely lit up.Â
sam looked over to her, noticing how she shifted to sit straighter in her seat. her hands were clenched by her side on the seat in excitement, and she was grinning from ear to ear. he couldnât help but smile at how excited she looked, the look in his eyes overflowing with love.
âplease tell me this is real and not a dream,â she blurted out. sam chuckled at her response, taking one of his hands off the steering wheel to lightly pinch her.
ânot a dream, sweetheart. weâre going on an aquarium date,â sam said, only to hear y/n quietly squeal.Â
they pulled into a parking spot, y/n practically jumping out of the still running car after sam hit the brake. sam turned the car off as fast as he could, locking it and walking towards y/n near the sidewalk. she was bouncing on her heels, smiling up at her boyfriend as he stopped next to her. he held his hand out for her and she rose up on her tip toes to kiss him. he leaned down, his lips meeting hers, and she smiled once again to break the kiss.
âthank you,â she whispered, her eyes sparkling as they looked into his.Â
âanything for my girl,â he murmured back, pulling her along towards the aquarium. they bought two tickets, and got their hands stamped with a blue fish to allow them to enter.Â
as they made their way through the exhibits of fish, y/n couldnât stop looking around her in awe. she would stop and watch as the fish swam by, pointing at certain ones and telling sam what kind of fish they were. at one point she saw a shark, one of her favorite marine animals, and pulled sam away from the fish they were looking at to see the shark. he laughed at how giddy she was.
they reached a smaller exhibit of fish, admiring the coral and all the smaller fish that swam in and around the coral. at one point, y/n noticed a small orange and white fish â a clownfish.
âsam, look at that one! itâs aââ
ânemo!â sam finished her sentence, though that wasnât at all what she was planning on saying. she giggled, shaking her head.
âa clownfish! nemo is a clownfish, though, so you got that one right,â she said, turning her head back to look at the fish again.Â
this time, sam pointed at another fish, coloured with red, yellow, and orange. its face was spotted two shades of red and its body had orange and yellow stripes. three black dots traced the middle of its body back to its tail.Â
âwhatâs that one called?â he asked her, looking intently at her for the answer.Â
she kept staring at the fish before saying, âthatâs a blackside hawkfish! theyâre actually really popular in aquariums, and itâs mostly solitary. it eats crustaceans, so like shrimp or krill, and small fish! itâs also a really cool predator, itâs an ambush predator, so it sits and waits until prey swims by, so it can dart out and eat it! and theyâre sequential hermaphrodites, so the adults are all females except for one, and if that one dies or something then the largest female hawkfish becomes the male. theyâre such cool fish. and isnât it pretty?â y/n said, ending her long-winded rant about the hawkfish.Â
sam kept looking at her, his expression soft as he watched the way her face tipped up and the way she stared in awe at every fish that passed by.Â
âyeah,â he said, still looking at her, âthe prettiest.â
in that moment, he realized he wanted nothing more than to marry her.
he wanted to put that ring around her finger, hear everyone call her y/n winchester, have her officially be his. he was already thinking up the plans â where to buy that proposal ring, where to get down on one knee.
soon, he promised himself, soon. perhaps theyâd hold the wedding by the sea, so he could watch her face as she glimpsed at the fish in the water. Â

A New Kind of Love: Chapter II
Genre: Non-Idol college au, slight enemies to lovers (more like they annoy e/o at the start), friends with benefits, smut, angst, romance, drama
Pairing: Minho x F!Reader
Warnings: Drinking, Cigarette Smoking, Mention of Weed, Nonconsensual touching, Cussing, Spanking, Rough Sex, Physical Violence (Minho punches a guy), Degradation, Reader is a bit of a brat. Let me know if I forgot anything! MINORS DO NOT INTERACT.
Word Count: 2,979
Summary: You didn't grow up with great examples of love. Your parents were always at each other's throats. As a result, you have struggled with expressing your true feelings and can come off cold or defensive. After your boyfriend of 2 years cheats on you during freshman year with your childhood best friend, you decide to swear off love for good. Now in your second year of college, you move into the basement apartment of a house full of college boys. Inevitably crossing paths with one of them, Minho quickly gets under your skin in more ways than one. Despite your differences, you can't stay away from him.
A/N: I struggled a little with this chapter compared to the others I finished. Sorry if it's not great. Also, to spare my anxiety, Iâm going to refrain from creating deadlines since this story has expanded from what it was originally meant to be (a one shot lol). I will have part three out as soon as I can. Again, any feedback/thoughts are welcome!
Chapter II: Keep Your Voice Down Prev | Next
A ringtone jolts you awake. Blearily, you look around your bedroom for the source. Stumbling, you reach for the discarded purse on the floor and fish out your mobile. Squinting at the bright light, you see the name Baddest Bitch đ flash across the screen. You slide to answer.
âHello,â your voice sounds rough.Â
âBitch, did you really just ditch me last night?â Your best friend, Yuqi, shouts through the phone. You move it a few inches from your face before speaking.
âWhat are you talking about?â
âI went to find you and you were gone.â
You take a moment to recall the party, the memories slowly coming back. âWait, didnât you ditch me last night for some guy?â
âI mean, yeah, but-â you cut her off.
âLook I am super hung over right now and desperately need a shower. Can you save your scolding for later?â
âSure, Iâm going to head to the diner. Meet you there?â You look at your phone to see the time.Â
âI can be there in like, 30 minutes?â
âSee you!â
âBye.â You hang up the phone and very slowly make your way to the shower.Â
The warm water feels like heaven cleansing away all sins from last night. While washing your hair, you suddenly remember meeting your neighbor, Minho. You struggle to remember the conversation. Was I that wasted? You can only recall that he was a bit of a dick. Shaking your head, you erase him from your mind.
Dressed comfortably in jeans and a black turtleneck, you grab your long coat and keys before heading out the door. You pause to take out your sunglasses as the sun hits. As you round the corner, Minho spots you from the porch and greets you.
âGood morning!â You jump out of your skin, nearly dropping your phone. You look up to see Minho leaning over the railing smiling at you.
âHowâd you sleep, princess?â Minhoâs cheeriness makes your brain hurt.
âCan you keep it down? Itâs like 10 in the morning. Chill.â The sun shines right into Minhoâs chocolatey eyes and you can see every variation of brown in his irises. Theyâre stunning.Â
âNot feeling so well, huh?â Youâre completely flabbergasted by his presence.
âHow long have you been waiting there for me?â
Minho doesnât expect you to ask. âNotâŚlong.â He looks down at his hands and picks at some invisible dirt under his nails. Jisung appears behind him and slaps Minho on the back. He falls forward with an oomph from the force.
âHey Hyung!â Jisung looks over Minhoâs shoulder and sees you.
âOh! Morning, Y/n!â His gummy smile on full display.Â
âIs your whole household on uppers or something?â Placing your sunglasses on top of your head, you look around questioning if this is the twilight zone. Jisung takes in your appearance and notices how tired you look.
âRough night?â he asks with a wince.
âSomething like that,â you give Minho a pointed look.Â
âWhere you headed?â Minho asks.
âCoffee. Meeting a friend.â
Jisung slaps Minho on the back again. âWell, that is perfect!â Minho stands up straight and looks at Jisung angrily. The younger boy ignores him and continues, âWe were just about to head that way. Want some company?âÂ
âOh, um-,â the boys donât give you a chance to answer, instead joining you on the sidewalk. Jisung loops his arm into yours.
âę°ěâ
âWhat?â
âHe means letâs go,â Minho answers for Jisung.Â
âOkay, then, Ka-cha, I guess,â you try to repeat back. Minho and Jisung smile at your attempt.
You arrive at the diner and see Yuqi in your usual booth. She spots you and waves. Pulling you into a hug, she notices two guys standing awkwardly behind you and releases you.
âUh, did you adopt some strays on the way here?â Jisung takes in the sight of your best friend and stares at her with big heart eyes, his mouth slightly agape. You notice Jisungâs expression and giggle.
âJisung, Minho, this is Yuqi. Yuqi, Jisung, Minho.â You gesture to each person to make introductions. Minho leans in to shake Yuqiâs hand, but Jisung jumps in front of him, taking hold of her instead.
âHi, Iâm Jisung,â he practically shouts.
Yuqi flashes both boys a smile. âItâs nice to meet you.â She points for the two of them to sit down. Jisung eagerly takes the spot next to Yuqi leaving you and Minho on the other side of the booth.
âSo how do you three know each other?â Yuqi asks.
âThey live above me.â
âDo they now?â Yuqi gives you a flirty look that you refuse to entertain.Â
After placing your orders, conversation flows easily between the four of you.Â
âAnd what about you two? How do you know each other?â Yuqi motions between Jisung and Minho.
Jisung smiles and says, âWe met in high school. He punched a guy who was bullying me. Heâs basically my soulmate, isnât that right ě기?â
âShut up, Ji.â Minho laughs.
You look at Minho, âJa-gi?â
âIt means something like darling.â
âI see.â
âHeâs just joking though,â Minho shrugs unconvincingly.Â
âWhat are you talking about, ě기? Donât lie to them!â Jisung pouts, making Yuqi laugh.Â
Heâs not one to go out of his way to connect with people, but heâd practically been taken hostage by Jisung and Felix. Whether it was Stockholm Syndrome or the balls of sunshine finally wearing him down, they eventually became his closest friends. Through Jisung he met Chris and Changbin. As a dance major he met Hyunjin who eventually introduced him to Jeongin and Seungmin. Minho grew up often feeling alone. His gruff personality could rub people the wrong way, but for whatever reason, his seven friends held onto him making him feel a part of something. A family.
Minho changes the subject and turns to speak to you, leaving Yuqi and Jisung to chat alone.
âFeeling any better?â
âYeah, actually. A lot better.â
âGood.â He fiddles with his coffee cup as a comfortable silence falls over the two of you. You both smile watching your friends across the table flirt.
âThose two seem to be getting along.â Minho says quietly as he takes a sip of coffee.
âYeah, theyâre pretty cute.â Right on cue, your friends laugh at something amusing on Jisungâs phone.Â
âYou two close?â You look away from your friend to Minho.
âWe are. I guess you could say sheâs my Jagi.â Minho smiles at that.
âWas she at the same party as you last night?â
You lean back into the booth and nod, âShe was.â
âShe seems to be in better shape than you were this morning.â
âYuqi doesnât drink.âÂ
Minho nods. âSo that makes you the drinker?â
âExcuse me?â
âSorry, Iâm kidding,â he says quickly to diffuse you.
âIs this fun for you?â Too late.Â
âWhat?â
âGetting under my skin.âÂ
âDonât make it so easy then.â He says teasingly, but you donât take the joke.
âDude, I just met you like yesterday.âÂ
âWhy are you getting so mad? I was just joking. Relax.â
âRelax?â
He throws his hands in the air, defeated. âWhy do you make it impossible to get to know you?â
You scoff and stand up. âYuqi, weâre leaving.â
Yuqi looks away from Jisung, the two of them completely oblivious to your disagreement with Minho.Â
âRight now?â
Minho leans back into the booth and crosses his arms.Â
âYes, come on.â You stand up from the booth and reach out for your friendâs hand.Â
She looks at Jisung before reluctantly taking your hand. âOkay.â She waves goodbye to Jisung. You give him a wave as well, but ignore Minho who looks away from you.Â
Jisung stands up and shouts, âI-Iâll see you around!â The door chimes as you both exit.Â
âHyung, I think Iâm in love.â
Minho sighs. âYou just met her.â
âDid I? Or have our souls been searching for each other across centuries and have finally reunited?â Minho just groans as he picks up his coffee cup. Jisung clutches his chest looking at the glass door before turning to Minho.
âYou seem to have taken a liking to, Y/n.âÂ
Minho snorts into his coffee. âAbsolutely not.â
Jisung just shakes his head. âAnd yet you waited on the porch for fifteen minutes until she finally left her apartment.â
âI-well, that was-â Minho stumbles over his words.
âUh huh.â He throws the elder a satisfied smirk. Jisung could always see through Minho.
-
While walking back from class the next day you look up to see Minhoâs window slightly ajar. A cloud of smoke forcing its way through the crack. Before you can stop yourself, you find your body standing at the threshold knocking on the front door. The door flies open and you're greeted by a beautiful blonde boy with freckles painted across his face.Â
âHello!â the beautiful blonde boy speaks, but it takes a moment for his words to register.
âUh, hi!â You finally shout out. âIâm your neighbor from downstairs.â
Recognition flashes in his eyes. âY/n! Iâm Felix. Iâve heard so much about you!â he says as he pulls you into a hug.
âYou have?â Your voice muffled as you speak into his chest. He releases you and holds you by your shoulders to look you over.
âWow, youâre beautiful.â You feel your cheeks warm at the compliment.
âOh, thank you. You are too.â He smiles and invites you in.
âSo, Y/n, to what do we owe the pleasure?â You look over and notice heâs in the middle of a video game.
âSorry, I didnât mean to interrupt.â Felix follows your gaze to his paused game.
âDonât worry. I wasnât reallyâŚwinning.â He grumbles as he scratches the back of his head.
âWell, I was just looking for-â As if summoned by your subconscious, Minho makes his way downstairs before you can even get his name out.
âY/n?â You turn to see Minho at the base of the stairs. Heâs shirtless wearing only gym shorts. His briefs peeking through. You force yourself to not look at his chest or lower and maintain eye contact.Â
âMinho, heyâŚâ
Felix watches the exchange, amused. âYou came here for Minho, hyung?â People donât usually make house calls for his grumpy resident cat.Â
âYeah.â You continue staring at Minho.
âWhat are you doing here?â He looks at Felix. The two exchange a silent word and Felix nods.
âI am going to check and see if my brownies are done.â He gently squeezes your arm to get your attention. âYouâre welcome to one, if you would like.â You smile at him. Felix disappears into the kitchen leaving the two of you alone in the entrance of the house.
Minho closes the gap between you since you seem planted in your spot. He tilts his head. âWell?â Heâs standing directly in front of you now. Before you can answer you notice a scar just below his ribs. Without thinking you trace the line with your finger. Minhoâs stomach tightens beneath your touch and he lets out a strained breath.
âWhat happened?â
âItâs from when I was a baby. I had to have a procedure done.â You look up at him concerned, your finger still lightly touching the end of the scar.
âAre you okay now?âÂ
He affectionately laughs at your question. âYeah, Iâm okay.â Minho moves your hand away before the electrical current from your touch reaches any further south. He doesnât let go of your hand though and instead stares at where your fingers are intertwined. The atmosphere shifts.
âHey, hyung, can you help me with-â Jisung suddenly walks in, breaking the tension. âY/n, hi!â You look at Jisung and shake your head ending the spell.Â
âSorry, I have to go!â You push past Minho after giving Jisung a wave and head to leave.Â
Felix calls out to you from the kitchen, âY/n, your brownie!â
âNext time!â You rush out and close the door behind you.
Jisung looks at Minho blinking. âWhat was that about?â
âI have no idea,â he says in disbelief. He walks over to the window and watches as you hurriedly walk down the street and out of view.
-
Minho sits at a table studying when he spots you entering the library. It had been a few days since he last saw you. Your touch now seared on his scar. He felt you every time he closed his eyes and despite himself, he craved your nearness. As if possessed, he abandons his books and follows you into the maze of the stacks.Â
It takes some time to find you, but when he does youâre at the end of an aisle at the very back of the library. He can feel his heart beat into his ears. Sensing a presence, you look up from your book and are surprised to meet Minhoâs eyes. He stands at the opposite end of the aisle waiting for a signal. You place your book down and face him. Minho takes a tentative step in your direction, then another. You take one too until you're both rushing to close the gap. It probably doesnât make sense to an outsider, but the two of you were drawn to each other like magnets. Maybe it didnât make sense to you either. Did you even like Minho? Did it matter? It didnât, not as he crashed his lips against yours and pushed you into the bookshelf. Electricity crackling between the two of you.
Minho grips the shelf behind him to steady himself. Your hands immediately begin exploring his body. You could feel every outline of his muscles beneath your palms and his skin ignites from your touch. He pushes his hard length into your center as he kisses down your neck. Minho starts sucking and you know it's going to leave a mark. You donât care. What you didnât expect was for him to bite you. The pain sends pleasure through your middle and a cry escapes your mouth. This elicits a growl from Minho as his hands begin to hurriedly pull up your jean skirt. You feel his Adam's apple bob as you lick up and down the length of his throat. You then graze your teeth along his jawline. It was your turn to leave marks. Your skirt now up to your hips, Minho completely exposes you to him. You lift your head and look around.Â
âWhat if someone sees?â
âJust look at me.â And you do. Everything around you, the books, the shelves disappear. Itâs just the two of you alone. He can feel your arousal as he cups your sex.
âSo wet for me, princess. And here I thought you didnât like me.â
âI donât.âÂ
He raises an eyebrow and smirks.
You smack his chest. "Shut up.â He lets out a husky laugh as he places his lips on your shoulder.Â
âBite me again and Iâll kick your nuts.â
âNoted.â You felt him smile against your skin. Minho pushes your panties aside and slides two fingers in without hesitation. You let out a breath not realizing you had been holding one in.Â
âFuck.â You clench around his fingers as you take him in.
âYouâre so warm,â he moans. He starts pushing in and out of you as your wetness quickly coats his hand.Â
âKiss me.â He brings his lips to yours and you bite at him needily.
âBut I canât bite you?â
âI swear to god if you ruin this right now with that mouth of yoursâŚâ
Minho removes his fingers from you and drops to his knees. âWhat? This mouth?âÂ
âMinho, what are-â before you could protest, he licks up your wet folds making you shiver. The tip of his tongue pushes at your clit.
âYes, more!â Minho slowly circles around before sucking harshly. âOoh, baby. Like that,â you purr. That nearly sends him over his edge. He palms his bulge with his free hand to adjust himself before he slides his fingers back in. Minho now pumps relentlessly and you can hear your wetness squelch with every movement.Â
âToo much!â But Minho doesnât relent.Â
You grip his hair pulling and pushing him further into you. He groans, sending a vibration through your pussy and you moan loudly.Â
âKeep your voice down,â he whispers.
âF-fuck you-u,â Minho chuckles as he resumes eating you out. He hikes your leg over his shoulder and the new angle gives his long fingers better reach. Minho can feel the ribs of your walls enclose him tightly and he knows youâre close. Your breathing becomes shallow as your orgasm rises through your body and stars dot your vision. Minho tongues your clit harder and forces a third digit inside of you. You grind against him as you finally come into his mouth. You have to use all your strength to hold in your cries and grip the shelf behind you to stay grounded. Minho doesnât let up, letting you ride out your orgasm while he laps up your ecstasy. You whimper as you shake from overstimulation.Â
Minho finally releases you and stands. He puts your panties back in place and pulls your skirt down. His lips, nose, and chin are covered in your essence making your middle tighten in pleasure. Minho licks each finger individually, not letting a drop go to waste.
âSo sweet.â
He wipes his face with the back of his sleeve once he finishes. Still coming down from your high, you donât realize how closely you're leaning against the bookshelf. Your fingers gripping the shelf so hard your knuckles are white. Minho notices and takes hold of your hands to help you upright. Tension leaves your fingers as he places feather light kisses across your knuckles. All you can do is stare into Minhoâs brown eyes. He smiles at your blissed out state and leans into your ear. âSee you around, princess.â Minho releases your hands and disappears, leaving you absolutely stunned.
