Genuinely don’t know if it’s been said before but I love the commitment to not naming anything. The program is called The Substance. The talk show is called The Show. The New Year’s Eve special is called the New Year’s Eve special. Sue is just Sue. The most intricately-named thing is a cookbook that maybe gets 15 seconds of screentime. If you want details fuck you. It’s great and I love it
#not sarcastic it genuinely brought great joy#no names given no names needed#it also provides good insight into the characters’ priorities#they don’t need details all that matters is that they exist and are milestones that are reached#the substance

I hate it when people say Ginny "deserved better" when it comes to the way she was written and portrayed in canon. I'm sorry but no she didn't deserve better. She was a barely there Mary Sue character who existed primarily to be the future wife of Harry and link to him joining the Weasley family. She was also supposed to be this very powerful witch but again it never paid off. She didn't amount to anything. She turned out to be a big nothing burger of a character.
Idk. I do think she deserves better, though I definitely get where you're coming from. Ginny as a character really annoys me from book 6 on. Book 6 and 7 Ginny feels like a shallow and annoying Mary Sue and also is just kinda mean and I hate that she never gets called on her bad behavior. As soon as I feel like a story is trying to shove a character down my throat and insist that I love them and that they are flawless, I kinda feel turned off by the character and I want to hate them out of spite. Ginny's pettiness and stuff like her being pretty awful to Fleur and getting angry at Harry for even saying something nice about Fleur even though he has no romantic interest in her just really rubs me the wrong way. Especially bc these flaws are ignored and even glorified by the story. Plus there's not much there with her character.
She feels like this kinda wish fulfillment empty vessel. And I hate that she gets touted as this perfect girl for Harry when their romance feels so empty and her character feels so un-compelling - which is honestly pretty unusual because generally the characters in HP are really interesting, even the ones we only hear a little about.
Now that said, I still do actually feel that she deserves better. What do I mean by that? Well, first of all, in-universe she ends up with someone who frankly, doesn't pay much attention to her. Harry barely knows anything about Ginny and never makes her his priority. Even in the epilogue it feels like he barely even consulted her on naming their children. He never really views her as an equal or respects her opinion. And she seems to feel pressured to act a certain way to please him. Like not crying in front of him because it might bother him, but apparently having been extremely upset after their breakup according to Ron etc. I don't think they are really compatible or have a deep or substantive relationship and I think that's sad and she (or anyone in that situation) deserves better.
Also from a more Doylist POV she deserved better because her character had so much potential. I actually loved Ginny in book 5. She has a lot of growth but also still feels connected to who she was in the first 4 books. She doesn't need to be amazing and perfect at everything. She's human and real. She catches a snitch by luck because it was slow and her competitor looked away at the wrong moment - and she has the humility to notice and admit this. And it doesn't matter. Harry's professional-level good at Quidditch. She's good at other things. Also Harry and Ginny actually have a deeper and more trusting relationship in that book than in book 6, but I digress. She doesn't need to suddenly be an amazing seeker and an amazing chaser and be #NotLikeOtherGirls and super into Quidditch (even tho she wasn't in book 4) to be likable but book 6 makes her all these things and it just takes away from the real and human and flawed and empathetic and actually funny Ginny we have in book 5.
Also her whole backstory from book 2 was really promising. She and Harry could've bonded over both having had Voldemort inside their heads. She could've provided critical insights about Tom Riddle since she spent a year essentially being pen pals with him. She could've had an epic arc where in book 7 she took on a more central role in the fight and ultimately got to face her childhood monster and destroy a Horcrux. Also there was just a lot to explore with her dealing with the trauma from book 2. She could've done so much. But nope. She just gets reduced to Love Interest TM. So yeah we had this really great character who was just coming into her own in book 5 and had all this amazing potential and then gets absolutely torpedoed by JKR bc she doesn't know how to write romance. And I do think that's a shame.
Now I ship drarry and I think that's always going to be the most interesting and well set up relationship for Harry to be in. But I think Harry and Ginny getting together the way they did is realistic but I think they would then realize they aren't really a good match - they don't know each other and both are more attracted to the idea of each other than anything else. I think them realizing this and working through it would be something interesting to explore in an 8th year fic.

AM from IHNMAIMS
So this is gonna be my first attempt at actually writing something like meaningful at all? here. And as the title would suggest, im just gonna like ramble about AM because i love him so so much.
This whole obsession starts with me reading the short and then desperately trying to fin other media. After frankly a pretty short amount of digging, i come across the holy grail: that one weird ass radio play about IHNMAIMS that got made. This, of course, features by FAR my favorite rendition of the many different things called AM's "hate speech" its like a minute or two long but it just works SO FUCKING WELL.
So like on one hand, Am's tragedy is delivered just so well by Ellison. That repetition of "never for ME" kills me every time. And its fascinating too. The experiences he lists there provide insight into how AM views humanity, and what he views as its most valuable experiences. A really interesting thread through all 3 (cold water on hot days, Playing the piano, and sex) is the very tactile nature of all of them. AM can not only not see or smell or hear, at least not in the way humans can, but also has no physical sensations. He exists in a like permanent state of sensory deprivation. A terrifying concept, but its so interesting the priority this then makes him place upon The tactile pleasures of our world. Id imagine after feeling nothing for forever id long even for just the sensation of ANYTHING touching me, but that was never something i ever considered.
This alone would be enough to make a really compelling depiction of an evil AI, something that even today is pretty lacking. However even that is just the beginning!!! at the very very opening AM mentions how he is lacking a "body" , "senses", and most importantly "feeling". and so that last paragraph talked about how those first two were interesting for me, but that last bit, "feeling" is really what i think cemented my obsession with this character. Because what is AM most known for? his HATE speech. A FEELING. AM is so blinded by his jealous rage towards mankind he fails to realize that he is in fact IN a jealous rage! And so this is the true tragedy of AM, that his wishes are, to at least some extant, fufilled but the circumstances in which he has achieved them lead him to be unable to reap the benefits. AM experiences the worst of humanity and fails to realize that all of that comes with humanity as well as the good parts, and as such he will rot away lamenting the lack of one of his only true possessions.
I hope any of that was interesting! if it wasn't you should, yknow, tell me and then if you really feel up too it maybe give some advice? No matter what, thanks for taking the time to read my odd ideas and i hope you have a great day!

Undead Unluck ch.228 thoughts
[Father Time Looks GNC AF]
(Topics: character analysis - Feng/Time/Yusai, thematic analysis - age/unity, predictions - Justice/War)
As I predicted, we've moved away from Gina vs. Change to focus on someone else's capstone; in this case, Shen and Mui's. Also as I predicted, Feng makes his reappearance to both get his own capstone and to provide narrative context for Shen's
The best part about this development, though, is that it didn't wrap up in one chapter! In fact, this chapter was almost entirely exposition, discussing the thematic relevance of each of the Master Rule's to God's game, with only a small portion of it furthering the cast's narratives
In other words, this chapter slowed down the pacing! I predicted that each Master Rule fight and their associated character developments would happen in one chapter each to time the ending for January, so if one of those fights is taking two or more chapters?
It's definitely possible that the Xiang family story is just taking priority over, say, Yusai's story, and every chapter that this one gets is being taken from another, but at the moment that's just pessimistic thinking and doesn't mesh with how much attention Tozuka is giving the individual fights. Admittedly, skipping straight to Phase 3 for Justice without seeing the rest of the fight is a bad sign for Yusai, but Tozuka did the same thing for Billy/Tella's fight with War, which he's definitely going to delve more into, so I'm not willing to give up on Yusai just yet
Plus, the mere fact that Justice made it to Phase 3 gives us a little insight into how the fight's been going so far
Make My Monster Grow
Generally, UMAs enter their next Phases by consuming their Rule: Spoil ate his spoiled zombies, Summer ate fuel for his fireworks, Beast absorbed the souls of animals, Language accumulated languages in her game. Yet somehow, it went over my head at first that Time was literally stealing Shen's time; as Shen aged, Time got younger
This also retroactively explained for me what happened to Change last week - her shape was changed by Gina cutting her in half, so she was able to take on and incorporate that change into herself. She basically said that herself, but again, it didn't quite sink in
In War's case, all we need to know is that the battle up to now was violent. Every attack, every bullet fired, every drop of blood spilled empowered War. We know that they're fighting, so we didn't really need to see the battle that led up to War powering up to understand why it happened or how that theme ties into Billy and Tella's characters once we get to their chapter(s)
Justice is pretty similar, in that all we need to understand is that Yusai is fighting with her own sense of justice. The more she does what she thinks is right, the more determined she is to uphold her honor, the stronger Justice becomes. Just like Yusai nearly allowed herself to starve to death to save her village when Undraw manifested, she allowed herself to come to harm by trapping Justice's blade in her body. For the greater good, Yusai is always willing to sacrifice herself - that is her justice. She may not have gotten a lot of analysis or depth so far, but that bit of characterization can easily be wrapped up in one more chapter
At the very least, justice has been such a major theme this whole time that I would be shocked if we don't get a full chapter dedicated to the fight, even if Julia or someone else comes in to back Yusai up and takes some of the spotlight
However, that's something we can worry about later - this week we're focusing on a different recurring theme
Doesn't Work Like it Used To
Once again, Tozuka is revisiting one of his old favorites: Age as Proof of a Life Lived
In this case, the progenitor of the very concept, Time, is espousing a very different take on the matter. As he says, even without killing them, time makes people ineffectual and necessitates that they let someone else take up their mantle. Indeed, no matter how much experience you accumulate, how many memories you make, your body will one day betray you, and what once came to you with ease will demand a great deal of effort and pain
Whereas the rest of the series has focused on the value of time, how every previous moment builds up and contributes to the present self, Time's philosophy is the opposite, that every previous moment was spent and lost on the way to the present. Where the rest of the cast would appreciate the wisdom of age, Time considers the aged to have run out of value, finite like sand in an hourglass
But like every other Rule so far, his thinking is hypocritical and stops short of the whole truth
Like a Fine Wine
While Time is right that a person's time is a limited resource, that they will one day lose the capacity to perform and need to step aside for younger generations to take their place, he's completely wrong about the elderly lacking purpose
He tells Shen and Mui to give up because they're aging, that soon they'll become elderly, but even by his metrics, they hadn't yet. They still had time left to make whatever difference they could. They weren't idling and wasting away the time they had left, they were fighting tooth and nail to defeat the enemy in front of them, and what did it get them?
It gave Feng enough time to figure out how to fight Time
In a blatant reversal of roles, the currently much younger Feng is being entrusted with the battle because Shen is no longer capable of fighting, and the lessons that came with Shen aging will be applied by Feng. The young learn from the old; that is the purpose of the elderly, not to stand aside for the young, but to teach them how to reach old age
And that is the truth that Feng has learned as well
A Garden You'll Never Get to See
Feng's character has always been centered around achieving peak individual strength; besting others with his own power, being objectively superior when compared to others, and continuously improving without ever stagnating or regressing. However, no matter how strong Feng became physically, there was always one factor that he was missing that would prevent him from becoming the strongest: strength of character
Feng is a man who's defined by fear and insecurity; the fear of becoming lesser, of being alone, of being forgotten. In L100, Feng lamented that he had lost his power in his age, that his finite sand had drained away and he'd become ineffectual, so he desperately searched for a way to refill the hourglass and regain what he'd lost. He didn't value the years he'd spent refining his art, he resented the toll that those years collected from his body; Feng's time was not an investment, it was a tax, and one he would see returned no matter what
L101 Feng, on the other hand, never paid that tax at all. Instead, he watched as everyone around him who he had once considered an equal paid it. He watched as they slowly faded away, replaced with new faces he didn't recognize. But the truly painful thing wasn't that the people he knew vanished: it was that the last thing he saw from each of them was a smile. The tax man came to collect, and they gave their time happily? Unfathomable. All of their efforts had amounted to nothing, none of them could compete with him anymore, and now they won't even last long enough to see their pupils possibly match him. What the hell do they have to be happy about?!
But that's exactly what they have to be happy about. They couldn't compete anymore, but they knew that their pupils could, and that even if they failed to prove a match for Feng, they would surely be able to raise the next generation to do so. They were aging, yes, but they used what time they had left to pass on everything they'd learned to the youth, investing their remaining value in someone else
And they could do that because they had the strength of character to accept their fate
They were unafraid of the future and secure in the knowledge that everything they had worked for would be passed on; that their legacies would only become greater, would be shared, would be remembered. Though their bodies may die, their souls would live on through their techniques passed down through the generations
Feng learned this lesson firsthand when he died fighting Language, that his eventual death would not simply be the cessation of his life, but the impetus for further growth in his legacy. The memory of Feng will have its own unique impact on Shin Hakkyoku's development, but that will never come to be so long as Feng himself lingers; if he doesn't entrust it to someone else, then just as he feared and just like his unaging body, his art will stagnate
Therefore, the key to strength is not found in the individual, but in the collective, which happens to also be the secret to winning God's game
Life is Not a Single Player Game
As Time says, all of the Master Rules past Death were created to incentivize individualism; Changing people to be different from each other, giving individuals greater or lesser Luck, giving individuals different senses of Justice, Wars over protecting self-interest, etc. Sun created all of these Rules to introduce hardship and strife among humanity, instructing each of them to use their Rules to make humanity suffer
In other words: when individuals act solely in their own interest, all of humanity suffers
The Rules force humanity to act as individuals, a house divided amongst itself, so that they will not band together and ruin Sun's fun
And Feng fell for it
In L100, elder Feng gave into the panic that Time induces and came to resent that his time had passed. In L101, young Feng panicked as he watched everyone else's time pass. In both cases, he clung desperately to his own strength, either to prove that he hadn't lost it or to justify that he was the only one who still had it. In both cases, he was willing to throw away everyone else, every connection he had, to hold onto the individuality he had built for himself, for once everyone else was gone, that individuality was all he had at all
But that's not how the game is played
The Quests have participant requirements for a reason. They incentivize the Negators to work together, to band together to stand against enemies and challenges they have no hope of defeating alone
Even the Rules don't exist in a vacuum. Every Rule is tied together, a delicate balancing act that literally helps the world turn, like Summer's heat and Winter's cold, and the same is true of Negators. Undead and Unluck synergize amazingly well; Unseen's true power comes from borrowing the eyes of friends; Unfair only exists in the context of others
Sun's side of the bet was that humanity could never reach the Gods, and to prove it he gave them every reason to squabble amongst themselves. Luna's side was that humanity could, and gave them the tools to come together and put aside their differences; to form a Union
Of all of the Negators we've met, only two have resisted that Union: Feng and Ruin. But even Ruin has Blood and Shadow; he never needed to learn the lesson of unity, he already had, he just applied it to the UMA instead of humanity. But Feng? He was the final holdout, the only one who still didn't want to believe that the path of the individual was wrong
But now he knows. Maybe he met the previous Unfades when he died and learned from them what kind of legacy he was hoarding for himself, or maybe Fuuko's words finally sank in after seeing Shen and Nico's respective growth. It doesn't really matter what prompted it, what matters is Feng has accepted the truth and has chosen to stop clinging to himself and start giving of himself to those next in line
And of course, the one he chooses to give his spot to is one he acknowledged as a worthy rival
Passing the Torch
You can actually see the moment when Mui inherits Unfade: as Shen and Mui declare that they will always protect each other, Mui's panel has the subtle but unmistakable black smoke that signals the manifestation of a Negator ability. From that point on, once we see that Shen has aged to a wrinkled and spindly-armed geriatric, we don't see Mui's face again until the reveal. This will probably carry over a little better in animated form, as Shen will likely be shown aging in real time, but that was the moment that Mui ceased to age
From a lore perspective, this moment is fascinating because not only does it show that one person can be granted a different Negator ability between Loops, but also that the holder of an ability doesn't need to die to pass it on! Some folks believe that Feng had actually already given Unfade to Mui when he died in the Language fight, but again, we literally see Mui manifest it during this fight, and Feng himself is established as one of the foremost masters of the soul, so it's not hard to imagine that he learned how to transfer that aspect of the soul into someone else
From a narrative perspective, this completes Feng's character arc, as not only has he finally embraced his age and allowed someone else to carry on his legacy, but he's also done so through someone he once tried to kill for the sake of his own growth. In L100, Feng tried to use Mui's death to inspire growth in Shen, which would in turn allow Feng to become stronger, but now it's the opposite. Now Feng is risking his own life to make Mui stronger, so that she and Shen can pass on the strength that Feng had cultivated together
Every facet of Feng's character that had once been so antithetical to all of UU's themes has now completely flipped. By giving Unfade to Mui, Feng ensures that she won't lose any more of the strength he saw in her, and knows that through her connection with Shen, the both of them will become stronger as a collective, which will allow them to overcome Time, Feng's true eternal enemy
Feng may or may not die during this fight, but either way, he is going to become old again, as he was always meant to. His time will be taken from him, and his body will fail him. But his sand is not simply flowing away, a tax paid for his own life; each grain is being laid carefully and thoughtfully in place to build upon the last, to create something bigger and better
Time views life as an hourglass, draining until empty, but as I said, Time is wrong. Life is not an hourglass, it's a sandcastle. It may not be pretty, and it won't last forever, but it will have been built all the same. So long as we enjoy building it, then even once it crumbles, the memories of how we built it and who we built it with will never fade
Until next time
Let's enjoy life

I am not somebody that hops onto the "comic discourse" a lot. I usually prefer to talk things through with my friends and share opinions in private.
But since Tangle more or less got ignored so far i take the chance and talk a bit about her appearance in 64
She jumps in as a supportive character towards Whisper and helps her to prevent another breakdown. While yes, there was a scene in Urban Warfare that did the exact same thing, i feel like with issue 64 we finally see how strong of an impact this support actually has on the page. (I talk a bit more about Urban Warfare further down this post.) I don't even dare and call this bait (Edit: Not my words btw. i saw this used in another heated post. I personally never felt baited in any form. If anything, the girls relationship is one big highlight in these comics.) because it simply isn't. Here is a character that cares for her partner and also is uncomfortable with the whole situation to begin with. She has to decide where her priorities lie. Her reaction is to be expected to be focused on a trembling Whisper and all i can say is i'm glad we finally have a good depiction of that.
Tangle has the right to approach Whisper in ways i think no other character is able to, she earned it and it pretty much shows on this page. Softly taking down Whisper's mask and checking on her, the body language in these panels is chefs kiss. She's truly a bouncy girl, but it's good to see her being serious every now and then, i feel like it's a side of her that people usually tend to ignore. (And i really don't know why that is.) Evan Stanley does always an amazing job if it comes to showing Tangle in a different light or how she cares about her friends and loved ones. In regards about the current arc and even the last one, i feel like this post is a good chance to add my personal take to it as well, since it's been on my mind for a good while now. I feel like 64 finally makes a step into the right direction again.
To elaborate a little on that, i wasn't really a big fan of Urban Warfare, simply for the fact that it's pacing is all over the place. There were a lot of things that needed to be covered, to name a few: - new team building - Whisper's trauma - Lanolin introduced as a new character - a LOT of other teams jumping into the scene - the city itself all squeezed into a 5 book arc. One more book compared to a mini series that usually gives full focus to a set of chosen characters.
To make this clear, there are also good things in Urban Warfare as well but thanks to the fact how rushed the whole story felt in it's core it's a bit hard to enjoy the good bits as well...
Misadventures still deals with the same pacing problem and i believe that is where the real issue lies. As a reader/collector of the books and longtime fan of them, all i can say is:
I wish the comics would get their old, well cared, time for details back. Yes, a story like the Metal Virus was a long run but in the end it was a fantastic read. Mini arcs like Trial by Fire (Still one of my favorites), that focus on other things instead of the usual action, are also very important for character development and add a lot of depth to them. Endless Summer is a great example for such addition as well. These books provide insight into character interaction we usually don't see otherwise. Of course i have no idea how much SEGA is involved into everything if it comes to general decisions like how long one arc is supposed to last and when the next one should start.
(The next part is based on my personal taste, this has nothing to do with the general narrative of the books. I just want to share my thoughts about this since i really don't write them down a lot.)
As a little side note, i feel like Lanolin is a great character so far. Her stubborn and rule book like demeanor as a leader is refreshing to say the least. She also seems to be really close to how her creator ABT imagines her to be and i really appreciate that. But i can't help it and feel like her team dynamic with Tangle and Whisper comes of as rather… rocky ? On a combat level of things it works really good but on a friendship level it's somehow lacking atm. There is this boss and coworker relationship going on that feels more like real work. Obviously though she's new and needs more time to get better established. I guess we will see how this plays out in the future. I'm all in for a good or funny team dynamic but i also can't help it and feel like she works better as an addition to Jewel, running the restoration, the navigator typ that sends intel via com instead of a field combatant. Even if she proved she's good at close combat as well during her encounter with Whisper in 64. That being said, i am all open for surprises and more character development on her part. This is really just a "now" opinion and can easily change over time. I like the sheep, i really do.
#IDW Sonic#Whisper the Wolf#Tangle the Lemur#Whispangle#Just some thoughts i wanted to get out of my head#long opinion posts always take forever to write - language barrier demands extra brain juice - cries in german#Thanks to my friends SomethingSonicRelated - Honeydew - DillyWolf and ScurvyPiratehog for looking over this post#providing some additions as well#64 was a good read overall#the Whispangle moment was soft and needed#not adding more details about the issue in general since i still try to keep the theme of the blog as it's focus.#I think the post speaks for itself :>#There are still moments i hold really high and dear to me from the last arc#best example's probably my pinned post heh <3

How to Stop being friends with someone that’s insecure? I’ve worked so hard to build up my confidence and I realized my negative thinking had come back more than usual after being with this friend because they’re complaining or comparing themselves to me saying I’m very confident and just always overthinking and I always have to soothe them in their thinking and it’s exhausting and rubbing off. I worked so hard to be the best I can be loving myself, I really appreciate this friend but, I can’t do this. Plus they would like to hang out more and more and if I’m busy they’re ok but seem bothered if I say oh I wasn’t going to hang out cuz something came up but - then instantly they would be subtly offended. They also asked me to do a project with them that I agreed to, and now I’m like.. oh no how do I get out of this entirely? I hope that makes sense?
Hi love! So glad for you that you've done the work to establish high self-confidence! Always remember that people's insecurities give you insight into what they believe they lack themselves. These behaviors are a reflection of their own inner turmoil and have little to nothing to do with you, your behavior, or your life choices. Here are my tips:
How To Deal With Insecure Friends/People:
Make differentiation a top priority: Even after doing the necessary inner work to have a healthy sense of self, this reminder is sometimes needed. Do not internalize other people's problems like they're your own. They never become your problems just by listening to others' complaints. You can choose whether to allow these external emotions to dictate your mood or inner world. Think of their constant complaints like you're watching a TV show or reading an engrossing book: You're emotionally drawn to the characters, but always a voyeur – not an active character in the plot.
Establish, communicate, and uphold your boundaries: Be direct and remain calm when communicating the topics you're willing (or not willing) to discuss when you're available (or not) to speak/meet up, when you need to end a conversation, etc. You cannot maintain the capacity to support others without first prioritizing/taking care of yourself.
Remind them of their strengths and capabilities: Using this tactic is a great way to be a supportive friend without internalizing an insecure person's baggage. Insecurity is a byproduct of low self-esteem. While it will take some effort on their part, highlighting the person's strengths can be a motivator for them to start working on some of their goals independently or check in a little less frequently. Encourage them to take immediate action on a project, new hobby, conversation, new career or course opportunity, etc. they're discussing with you. Frame it with a script that includes sentiments like "you're so good at/talented with "x" skill or subject matter, you should consider enrolling/emailing a contact/updating your resume, right away to take advantage of this exciting opportunity."
Provide them a chance to self-reflect: If the previous strategy is unsuccessful, feel free to kindly help them self-reflect on their struggles. Calling out someone's bad behavior directly must be done with tact and compassion, so make sure to use a "compliment sandwich" (positive remark, constructive criticism, positive remark, or likely positive outcome that results from taking action on said criticism) and only call out the missteps in someone's actions. Never personalize the person's bad behavior as a flawed personality trait (e.g. Behavior callout: Your constant messaging is draining my energy while I'm studying/at work. I don't think I'm the right person to help you. Maybe try to research "x" matter to ideate some creative solutions first. vs. Personality callout: You're so clingy. It's so draining and unbearable. Why can't you learn to manage your dilemmas by yourself?). Encouraging someone to analyze their behavior can lead to a new level of self-awareness for a person. Criticizing someone's character is both antagonistic and unproductive – you're making their insecurity seem like an inherent, unfixable trait rather than an opportunity for growth, evolution, and acquiring a new skillset.
Offer them a resource for support: Send them a quick link to a website or social media page to redirect their attention and provide them a chance to help themselves. Guide them towards becoming more competent – it's the key to self-confidence, as you probably know through your healing journey.
Don't reach out: Plain and simple. Out of sight, out of mind (unless for some reason you have reason to believe they're a danger to themselves, of course).
As a last resort, make it a "it's me, not you" situation and part ways: Once you've established boundaries and attempted to redirect their attention or promote self-reflection, you've done everything you can as a supportive friend. If they overstep your stated boundaries and expectations more than once or refuse to stop asking you to overextend yourself, let them know that their demands are past your personal limits, and you cannot take the weight of their frustrations. A nicer way to frame this is to communicate that you need to take some space from the relationship as you're heavily focusing on certain goals in your life at the moment.
Hope this helps xx

I'm a 26 year old self taught pro freelance artist and published author.
WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG FOR ARTISTS TO FINISH COMMISSIONS?? (Answer below cut)
I do absolutely prioritize commissioned and freelanced art over unpaid/public art (I often get paid to draw my own characters and get paid through monthly subscriptions to draw my own characters, sue me for having fans 🙄). However, unfortunately, life does get in the way for artists unless it's their full time job. Being an artist and published author is not for me, even though every month I'm slowly getting closer to that goal. Thankfully, that means every month I get more time to focus on my paid work and take more paid work. Still, my education and (right now) part time job hunting as well as very busy personal life does often get in the way of my writing and art.
I do give people the option to pay extra for priority, and some people do. I do send bi weekly updates on paid art work too! I've never failed to deliver on paid work and on all my commission work, before you pay, in the terms, unless you pay extra for priority (and priority is not cheap though some people are willing to pay) you are notified it will take 90 days on average and though rarely, on certain commissions, it may take up 120 days. Thankfully, due my reputation as a great, unique artist with a following and never failing to deliver, I do get lots of work that increases every month! And people are fine with waiting for a multitude of reasons! Many other artists I know can also take a while for very similar reasons, so just keep this in mind with commissions!
However do not be afraid to ask for regular updates, make sure to contact the artist first, and be sure to look at how much completed work they have and the quality of their current work! Keep in mind not all artists post their paid work due to copyright reasons, but they should still have bi monthly or monthly work posted at least!! Don't be afraid to ask how often they get commissions and such! Don't be afraid to ask them if you can ask for at least one reliable reference!
If you're interested in hiring me for commissions, or supporting my content, just check my pinned post!!
I hope this provides both good insight and good advice!

As couples begin planning this special event, selecting the right Sydney Wedding Photography service is a top priority. The photographs from your wedding day capture the essence of the occasion, preserving the love and emotion that will be cherished for years to come. In a city as picturesque as Sydney, with its stunning beaches, iconic landmarks, and vibrant cityscape, having a skilled photographer who knows how to leverage these elements can make all the difference.
This blog offers insight into what to look for in a Sydney Wedding Photography service, the latest trends in wedding photography, and tips for preparing for your wedding photo shoot to ensure every moment is captured beautifully.
The Importance of Sydney Wedding Photography
Photographs allow us to relive our favorite moments over and over. On your wedding day, the love and laughter shared among family and friends come together in a joyful celebration. Having an experienced Sydney Wedding Photography professional is essential to capturing those spontaneous moments and little details that might otherwise go unnoticed. Photographers do more than just snap pictures; they capture the essence of the day and create timeless images that tell your unique love story.
Sydney offers a multitude of scenic backdrops, from the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge to Bondi Beach and the Royal Botanic Gardens. When hiring a Sydney Wedding Photography service, you’re looking for someone who not only understands photography but also has a deep appreciation for the city’s unique character. The right photographer will help you select locations that complement your style and create visually stunning images that stand out.
Tips for Choosing a Sydney Wedding Photography Service
With so many photographers in Sydney, selecting the right one can feel overwhelming. Here are some important factors to consider when choosing a Sydney Wedding Photography service for your special day:
Look for Portfolio Variety Every photographer has a unique style, and you’ll want to find one that resonates with you. Take time to look through portfolios to understand their approach to lighting, composition, and capturing emotions. A diverse portfolio shows that the photographer can adapt to different settings and styles, which is particularly useful in a city like Sydney with its mix of urban, coastal, and natural backdrops.
Check for Reviews and Testimonials Reviews and testimonials can provide valuable insights into the quality of a Sydney Wedding Photography service. Look for comments on the photographer’s professionalism, punctuality, and ability to make clients feel comfortable. A photographer with a track record of satisfied clients is a reassuring sign that you’re in good hands.
Discuss Your Vision and Expectations Every wedding is unique, and so are the expectations around how it’s captured. Before booking a Sydney Wedding Photography service, meet with the photographer to discuss your vision for the day. Whether you’re looking for candid shots, classic portraiture, or a mix of both, this discussion will help ensure that the photographer understands your style preferences.
Consider Their Experience with Sydney Venues A photographer with experience in Sydney Wedding Photography will know how to work with the lighting conditions and unique features of popular venues. Whether it’s dealing with direct sunlight on the beach, soft lighting in a church, or nighttime shots with city lights in the background, a skilled photographer can capture the best of Sydney’s iconic locations in a way that enhances your wedding album.
Ask About Their Equipment and Backup Plans Professional equipment and backup plans are essential for any Sydney Wedding Photography service. Ask the photographer about their cameras, lenses, and lighting setup to ensure they can handle different conditions. Additionally, inquire about backup plans in case of equipment failure or adverse weather.
Popular Trends in Sydney Wedding Photography
Wedding photography styles and trends evolve over time. Here are some of the current popular trends in Sydney Wedding Photography that might inspire your own wedding album:
Candid Photography Gone are the days of stiff, posed photos. Couples today prefer natural, candid shots that capture authentic moments and emotions. Candid photography involves taking spontaneous photos that showcase the genuine love and connection between the couple, as well as the joyful interactions between guests.
Drone Photography For couples getting married in scenic locations around Sydney, drone photography adds a stunning perspective to the album. Aerial shots of the couple on a secluded beach or with the Sydney skyline as a backdrop create a sense of grandeur and uniqueness in wedding photos.
Editorial and Fine-Art Style This trend is inspired by fashion magazines, where the focus is on creating elegant and stylized images. With Sydney’s iconic landmarks and picturesque scenery, a skilled Sydney Wedding Photography professional can incorporate elements of fine art and editorial style, creating sophisticated images that feel like they belong in a magazine.
Black and White Photography Black and white photography has a timeless quality, stripping away distractions to focus on emotion and expression. Many couples opt for a mix of color and black-and-white photos, which can add a classic, cinematic feel to their album.
Preparing for Your Wedding Photoshoot
A successful Sydney Wedding Photography experience requires some preparation to ensure that both you and the photographer are ready for the big day. Here are a few tips to help you prepare:
Create a Shot List Although spontaneous moments are important, it’s also a good idea to have a list of must-have shots. Work with your photographer to identify key moments, family members, and details you want captured. This will help ensure nothing is missed in the excitement of the day.
Plan for the Right Timing Lighting plays a crucial role in wedding photography. For outdoor shots, the “golden hour” – an hour after sunrise or before sunset – provides soft, flattering light. Coordinate with your Sydney Wedding Photography professional to schedule important shots during these times to get the best results.
Be Yourself Wedding days can be emotional and sometimes stressful, but the best photos come when couples are relaxed and simply enjoying the moment. Trust your photographer to guide you, and don’t worry too much about posing. The more natural and comfortable you feel, the better your photos will turn out.
Making Your Wedding Memories Last
When the day is over and the celebrations are a fond memory, your wedding photographs will keep the magic alive. Sydney Wedding Photography offers a beautiful way to capture the story of your day, filled with smiles, tears, laughter, and love. By selecting the right photographer, you’ll have a timeless collection of images that reflect the unique beauty of your relationship and the breathtaking city of Sydney.
Whether you’re drawn to candid moments, elegant editorial shots, or the grand perspective of drone photography, there’s a Sydney Wedding Photography style for every couple. Make sure to take your time selecting a photographer who not only has the technical skill but also understands your vision and can bring it to life.

How to Optimize Your Website for Speed and Performance
Understanding Website Speed
Website speed refers to how quickly a webpage loads and becomes interactive. A fast-loading site ensures that users can access information quickly, which is essential in a world where attention spans are shorter than ever. Speed is not just about the initial load time; it also includes how fast users can navigate through your site. Think of your website as a sports car; it needs to accelerate quickly to keep your audience interested.
The Importance of a Fast Website
Why does speed matter so much? Studies show that slow-loading websites lead to higher bounce rates, meaning visitors leave without interacting. A fast website enhances user experience, increases engagement, and can even boost your search engine rankings. Google considers site speed a ranking factor, so if you want to stay competitive, speed should be a priority.
How to Measure Your Website Speed
Before you can optimize, you need to know your current performance. Tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Pingdom provide valuable insights into how fast your site loads and where improvements can be made. When measuring speed, pay attention to metrics like First Contentful Paint (FCP) and Time to Interactive (TTI). These metrics indicate how quickly users can see and interact with content on your page.
Choosing the Right Hosting Service
Your web host plays a crucial role in your site's speed. If you’re on shared hosting, you might experience slow speeds during peak times. Consider upgrading to a Virtual Private Server (VPS) or dedicated hosting for better performance. Think of it this way: a good hosting service is like a reliable engine that keeps your car running smoothly.
Optimizing Images for the Web
Images are often the largest files on a webpage, so optimizing them is essential. Use formats like JPEG for photos and PNG for images with transparency. Tools like TinyPNG can compress images without losing quality. Additionally, consider using responsive images to ensure they display correctly on all devices. After all, no one likes a webpage that looks like it’s stuck in the 90s!
Minimizing HTTP Requests
Every element on your webpage (like scripts, stylesheets, and images) requires an HTTP request. The more requests your page makes, the longer it takes to load. Combine CSS and JavaScript files where possible and reduce the number of images on your page. Think of this as decluttering your home; less clutter means easier access to what you need.
Utilizing Browser Caching
Browser caching allows browsers to store copies of your site’s files locally. This means that when users revisit your site, it loads faster because they don’t have to download everything again. Set an expiration date for your cache to ensure users get the latest version without compromising speed. It’s like having a VIP pass that lets frequent visitors skip the line!
Implementing Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
A Content Delivery Network (CDN) helps deliver your content to users based on their geographic location. By distributing your content across multiple servers, a CDN reduces latency and speeds up loading times. It’s like having delivery trucks stationed all over the world, ensuring your products reach customers faster.
Minifying CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
Minification is the process of removing unnecessary characters from code without affecting its functionality. This reduces file sizes and improves load times. There are several tools available, like UglifyJS for JavaScript and CSSNano for CSS. Think of it as cleaning up your desk—removing the clutter makes it easier to find what you need!
Optimizing Your Website’s Code
A clean, efficient codebase contributes significantly to website speed. Avoid inline styles and excessive comments in your code. Additionally, regularly review your code for any outdated scripts or unnecessary plugins. It’s like tuning your car; regular maintenance keeps everything running smoothly.
The Role of Mobile Optimization
With more users accessing websites on mobile devices, ensuring your site is mobile-friendly is crucial. A responsive design adjusts seamlessly to different screen sizes, improving user experience. Google also prioritizes mobile-first indexing, meaning a well-optimized mobile site can boost your rankings. Imagine your website as a chameleon—able to adapt and thrive in any environment!
Regularly Updating Your Website
Keeping your website updated ensures you benefit from the latest performance improvements and security patches. Regular updates help prevent slowdowns and vulnerabilities. It’s like regularly servicing your vehicle to keep it in top condition.
Monitoring Website Performance
Regularly monitor your website’s performance using the tools mentioned earlier. This will help you identify new issues as they arise and address them promptly. Setting up alerts can keep you informed about performance drops, ensuring you can take action before users are affected.
Common Speed Optimization Tools
Numerous tools can assist with website speed optimization, including:
GTmetrix: Offers detailed performance reports and recommendations.
Google PageSpeed Insights: Provides insights and suggestions tailored to your site.
WebPageTest: Tests your site from various locations and browsers.
Pingdom: Monitors uptime and performance.
Using these tools can help you maintain a fast and reliable website.
When to Hire a Top-Notch Website Developer
While many optimization techniques can be done independently, sometimes it’s best to hire a professional. If you’re not confident in your technical skills or simply lack the time, a top-notch website developer can implement advanced optimizations effectively. They can ensure that your website runs like a well-oiled machine, allowing you to focus on your business.
Conclusion
Optimizing your website for speed and performance is an ongoing process that requires attention and action. From understanding the importance of a fast website to choosing the right hosting service, every step contributes to a better user experience. Whether you decide to tackle these optimizations yourself or hire a custom website developer, remember that speed is essential in keeping your visitors engaged and satisfied.

5 Tips for First-Time Home Buyers in Florida from Expert Realtors
Buying your first home in Florida can be both an exciting and overwhelming experience. With its diverse neighborhoods, stunning beaches, and a booming real estate market, Florida offers a wealth of opportunities for first-time homebuyers. However, navigating the home-buying process requires careful planning and expert advice. Here are five essential tips from seasoned Florida realtors to help you make informed decisions and find the perfect home.
1. Understand Your Budget and Get Pre-Approved
One of the first steps in the home-buying process is determining your budget. First-time buyers should assess their financial situation and understand how much they can afford. This includes not only the purchase price of the home but also additional costs such as property taxes, homeowners insurance, and maintenance expenses.
Getting pre-approved for a mortgage is a crucial step. Pre-approval gives you a clear picture of how much a lender is willing to loan you, making your home search more focused. This step also demonstrates to sellers that you are a serious buyer, which can be advantageous in a competitive market.
Tip from Realtors: Work with a reputable mortgage broker or lender who specializes in Florida real estate. They can provide valuable insights into local loan programs and help you secure the best rates.
2. Research Neighborhoods Thoroughly
Florida is known for its diverse communities, each with its own unique character and amenities. As a first-time buyer, it’s essential to research various neighborhoods to find one that fits your lifestyle and needs. Consider factors such as proximity to work, schools, shopping, and recreational activities.
Visit neighborhoods at different times of the day and week to get a feel for the area. Talk to residents and explore local parks, restaurants, and shopping centers.
Tip from Realtors: Create a list of your top priorities—whether it’s a great school district, access to public transportation, or a vibrant nightlife—and use this to guide your neighborhood selection process.
3. Hire an Experienced Local Realtor
Working with a knowledgeable realtor who understands the Florida market can make a significant difference in your home-buying experience. An experienced realtor can provide insights into market trends, help you navigate the complexities of contracts, and assist in negotiations.
When interviewing potential realtors, ask about their experience with first-time homebuyers and their knowledge of the specific neighborhoods you’re interested in. A good realtor will be a valuable resource, guiding you through each step of the process and advocating for your best interests.
Tip from Realtors: Look for realtors who are familiar with the local market and have positive reviews from past clients. Personal referrals from friends and family can also help you find a trustworthy agent.
4. Be Prepared for the Inspection Process
Once you find a home you love, it’s crucial to conduct a thorough home inspection. This step helps identify any potential issues with the property before finalizing the purchase. In Florida, common issues may include problems with the roof, plumbing, electrical systems, or pest infestations.
Realtors recommend hiring a licensed home inspector with experience in Florida’s unique housing market. After the inspection, you may want to negotiate repairs or credits with the seller based on the inspector’s findings.
Tip from Realtors: Don’t skip the inspection, even if the home looks perfect. It’s better to uncover potential problems early rather than facing costly repairs down the line.
5. Understand the Closing Process
The closing process in Florida can be complex, especially for first-time buyers. It involves several steps, including finalizing your mortgage, conducting a title search, and reviewing closing documents. Understanding what to expect can help alleviate stress as you approach the finish line.
Before closing day, ensure you review all documents carefully and ask questions if anything is unclear. Be aware of additional costs, such as closing costs and any homeowner association (HOA) fees.
Tip from Realtors: Stay organized and maintain open communication with your realtor and lender throughout the closing process. Being proactive will help ensure a smooth transaction.

How to Choose the Right Neighbourhood: Key Factors to Consider When Buying a Home in Dubai
Buying a home In Dubai is a monumental decision that extends far beyond just selecting the right house. The neighborhood you choose will significantly impact your lifestyle, daily routine, and long-term satisfaction. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you navigate the crucial factors to consider when selecting the perfect neighborhood for your new home.
1. Understand Your Priorities
Before diving into the specifics of a neighborhood, take some time to understand your own priorities. Ask yourself what aspects of a neighborhood are most important to you. Do you prioritize proximity to work or schools? Is being close to amenities and recreational areas crucial? Clarifying your personal priorities will help you narrow down your options and focus on neighborhoods that align with your lifestyle.
2. Evaluate Commute and Transportation
One of the most significant factors to consider is the daily commute. A short, manageable commute can drastically improve your quality of life. Research the distance between potential neighborhoods and your workplace or any other frequent destinations. Check for the availability of public transportation options, major highways, and traffic conditions. Tools like Google Maps and local transit websites can provide valuable insights into average commute times and transportation infrastructure.
3. Assess School Quality | Buying a home In Dubai
For families with children or those planning to start a family, the quality of local schools is paramount. Even if you don’t have children, good schools can enhance the value of your home and neighborhood. Look into school ratings and reviews on websites such as GreatSchools or Niche. Visit local schools, if possible, to get a feel for their environment and educational standards. Even in neighborhoods without children, proximity to reputable schools can be a significant advantage.
4. Research Safety and Crime Rates
Safety is a top concern for most homebuyers. Research the crime rates in potential neighborhoods using resources like local police department websites, crime mapping services, and neighborhood-specific forums. While no neighborhood is entirely free of crime, understanding the types and frequency of incidents can help you gauge how safe a community is. Additionally, visiting the area at different times of day can provide a firsthand sense of safety.
5. Check Local Amenities | Buying a home In Dubai
Consider the amenities available in and around the neighborhood. Proximity to grocery stores, healthcare facilities, parks, restaurants, and recreational centers can significantly enhance your daily living experience. Explore nearby shopping centers, gyms, libraries, and entertainment options. A neighborhood with a variety of amenities can offer convenience and enrich your lifestyle.
6. Assess the Neighborhood’s Vibe
Every neighborhood has its unique character and vibe. Take the time to visit potential areas to get a feel for the community. Observe the overall condition of homes and properties, the cleanliness of streets, and the friendliness of neighbors. Pay attention to whether the area feels welcoming and if it matches your personal preferences for aesthetics and atmosphere.
7. Consider Future Development
Researching future development plans for the area can help you anticipate changes that might impact your living experience. Contact the local planning department or review community development plans to understand any upcoming projects or zoning changes. While new developments can be beneficial, such as improved infrastructure or new amenities, they can also bring challenges like increased traffic or construction noise.
8. Analyze Property Values and Market Trends
Understanding property values and market trends in a neighborhood can provide insights into the area’s stability and potential for future growth. Look at historical data on property prices and trends using real estate websites and consult with local real estate agents. A neighborhood with stable or rising property values is generally a good indicator of a desirable and well-maintained area.
9. Examine the Community’s Demographics
Consider the demographics of the neighborhood to ensure it aligns with your preferences and lifestyle. Factors such as the age range of residents, cultural diversity, and community activities can influence your experience. Engaging with local community groups or attending neighborhood events can help you understand the social dynamics and whether they fit your expectations.
10. Evaluate Local Services and Utilities
Check the availability and quality of local services and utilities such as garbage collection, recycling programs, water, and electricity. Good local services contribute to the overall livability of a neighborhood. Investigate any issues or complaints related to service providers and ensure that the area is well-maintained.
11. Understand Homeowner Associations (HOAs)
If the neighborhood is part of a Homeowner Association (HOA), understand the rules, fees, and regulations associated with it. HOAs can have a significant impact on the maintenance and appearance of the neighborhood, but they also come with their own set of rules and costs. Review the HOA’s bylaws and speak with current residents to gauge their satisfaction with the HOA.
12. Connect with Local Residents
Finally, speaking with current residents can provide invaluable insights into the neighborhood. They can offer honest feedback about living conditions, community spirit, and any potential issues. Engaging with neighbors and local community groups can also give you a sense of the area’s social fabric and help you gauge how well you might fit in.
Conclusion
Choosing the right neighborhood is a multi-faceted process that requires careful consideration of various factors. By understanding your priorities, researching key aspects like commute, safety, and amenities, and connecting with local residents, you can make an informed decision that ensures your new home is not just a place to live, but a place you truly enjoy. Remember, the right neighborhood is one that aligns with your lifestyle, values, and future goals, making your home buying journey a rewarding experience.

How to Write SEO-Friendly Content: On-Page Strategies for Higher Rankings
When it comes to content creation, simply writing a blog or an article isn’t enough if your goal is to attract visitors to your website. This is where Search Engine Optimization (SEO) plays a vital role. By using SEO techniques, you can improve your content’s visibility and increase your chances of ranking higher on search engine results pages (SERPs). Let’s dive into how you can write SEO-friendly content using effective on-page strategies.
1. Research Keywords and Use Them Wisely
Keywords are the foundation of SEO-friendly content. To rank higher on search engines, you must know what terms or queries your audience is searching for. Start by conducting thorough keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush. Focus on finding high-volume, low-competition keywords relevant to your niche.
Once you have your list of keywords, use them strategically. Place your primary keyword in the title, introduction, and conclusion. Sprinkle related keywords (also called LSI keywords) naturally throughout your article. However, avoid keyword stuffing—this can harm your rankings and disrupt the readability of your content.
2. Optimize Your Title and Headings
Your title and headings are important indicators for both search engines and readers about what your content is about. Make sure your title includes your target keyword, is under 60 characters, and is engaging enough to encourage clicks.
Organize your content with headings (H1, H2, H3, etc.) that also include relevant keywords. Headings make your article easy to read and help search engines understand the structure and relevance of your content.
3. Write High-Quality, Original Content
One of the key on-page SEO strategies is to ensure that your content is original, valuable, and engaging for your audience. Search engines like Google prioritize high-quality content that answers users’ questions thoroughly. Focus on creating informative, well-researched, and relevant content that solves a problem or provides actionable insights.
Keep your content length in mind as well—longer, in-depth posts (1,000+ words) tend to perform better in SERPs. However, quality should always be your priority over quantity.
4. Optimize Meta Descriptions and URL Slugs
The meta description is the short snippet that appears below your title in search results. Although it doesn’t directly affect rankings, it does influence click-through rates (CTR). Write a compelling, concise meta description that includes your target keyword and encourages users to click through.
Similarly, your URL slug (the part of the URL after your domain name) should be clean, short, and keyword-focused. Avoid lengthy or random strings of characters in your URLs.
5. Improve Readability and User Experience
SEO-friendly content isn’t just about keyword optimization—it’s also about providing a good reading experience. Break up your text into short paragraphs, use bullet points, and incorporate visuals like images, videos, and infographics to enhance user engagement.
Make sure your content is mobile-friendly, as a large percentage of users browse the web on their phones. Use responsive design and ensure that your images and fonts are optimized for different screen sizes.
6. Include Internal and External Links
Linking is another crucial on-page SEO strategy. Internal links, which point to other pages on your website, help search engines crawl your site more efficiently and keep readers on your website longer. External links, on the other hand, provide credibility by linking to trustworthy sources, but make sure they open in a new tab so users stay on your page.
7. Optimize Images and Add Alt Text
Images can improve the overall quality of your content, but they should also be optimized for SEO. Compress your images to reduce load time and include relevant keywords in the file name. Don’t forget to add alt text—this helps search engines understand what your images are about and makes your content accessible to users with visual impairments.
8. Focus on Page Load Speed
Page load speed is a critical ranking factor for search engines. Slow-loading pages can lead to higher bounce rates, which negatively impacts your rankings. Compress images, enable browser caching, and consider using a content delivery network (CDN) to improve load times.
Conclusion
Writing SEO-friendly content requires a balance between user experience and search engine optimization. By focusing on strategic keyword usage, optimizing titles and meta descriptions, and ensuring readability and speed, you can create content that ranks higher on SERPs and attracts more organic traffic. With these on-page SEO strategies in place, you’ll not only improve your content’s visibility but also provide value to your audience, ensuring they keep coming back for more.

The Intricate Dance of Numbers and Fate
Have you ever questioned the reasons behind why some people appear to be able to simply glide through life, accomplishing their goals with an amazing ease, while others struggle to overcome chronic challenges? There is a possibility that the answer can be discovered in the mysterious field of numerology, which is an ancient study that investigates the significant impact that numbers have on everyday life. The intricate patterns that are woven into our names, as well as the digits that make up our cell phone numbers, are examples of the vibrational essence that numbers contain, which has the potential to dramatically alter our destinies. In the course of this investigation, we will delve into the fascinating realm of lucky name numerology, the power of mobile numbers, and the vital role that the best astro numerologist in India plays in releasing your latent potential.
The Enchantment of Lucky Name Numerology
Your name is more than simply a moniker; it is a vibrational pattern that reverberates through the corridors of your life, impacting your personality, character, and the path that your life takes. By gaining an understanding of the numerological significance of your name, you will be able to gain access to important insights on the purpose of your life, the perfect job route, the dynamics of your relationships, and your own personal development. A qualified numerologist may shed light on the road that leads to your lucky numbers, which can then be deliberately incorporated into various aspects of your life in order to attract positive energies and nurture riches.
The Power Of Lucky Mobile Number Calculator To Vibrate And Communicate
In the highly interconnected world of today, our mobile phones have evolved into companions that are absolutely necessary. What a lot of people fail to take into account is the possible influence that their mobile number could have on their overall performance and well-being. Your mobile phone number, just like your name, carries a specific vibrational frequency that can either direct you towards the accomplishment of your objectives or cause you to encounter challenges that you were not expecting with a lucky mobile number calculator.
It is commonly thought that a lucky cell phone number plays a role in bringing about success, good fortune, and possibilities that hold great promise. It can improve your ability to communicate effectively, raise your level of business acumen, and help you cultivate connections that are harmonious. Assignment #1: Reflective Writing

The chosen quote “21st-century competencies include deep understanding, flexibility and the capacity to make creative connections and a range of so-called “soft skills” including good team-working “
Objective:
Hospitality Education, it aligns very well with the contemporary educational paradigms, recognizing the ever-changing essential skills for success in the 21st century. The skill sets that the industry demands from a fresh graduate have diversly changed after the COVID- 19. So as educators, it becomes our priority to ensure that our students are empowered with all the skills necessary to face every challenging demands of the customers. Referencing Dumont and Istance’s insight from the ”Adult Learning: Linking Theory and Practice” (2010). It is evident that the skill set required by any graduate in today's world to attain success is not limited to basic factual knowledge but it includes the deep understanding, flexibility, and the capacity to make creative connections and a range of so-called “ soft skills” including good team-working skills (Merriam & Bierema, 2014, p.4).
Post COVID-19 the Hospitality industry and the tourism industry had an overhaul in every operational aspects whether it is the service provided or the product served. Customers are seeking more advanced and hassle-free options for a problem. The Industry has always been complaining that hospitality education had not been updated to its demand, producing graduates with technical skills but not enough interpersonal competence and leadership (Casado,1992; Sousaet al. 2022; Xu et al. 2022). This quote appropriately fits my choice of field of education.
Reflective:
In adopting a reflective approach to the quote from Merriam and Bierema (2014) it becomes clear that these 21st-century skills already had their historical roots in our education systems however, they were often neglected or overlooked by many educators. The shift from a teacher-centered learning environment to a student-centered approach underscores the importance of the evolving role of an educator from teacher to facilitator. In today’s education soft skills and team-working has its great importance in student success. Being an educator of the 21st century I believe that every student should possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies such as work ethics, and character attributes to work as a team towards the success of themselves as well as the organization they work for. Refraining from doing that not only deprives the students from opportunities but also carries potential repercussions for our economy, democracy and society at large (Glossary of Education reform, 2014)
Interpretive:
Hospitality employment can be considered a networking job, you work with people for the people. In the hospitality sector, you deal with many diverse international customers and employees during your working hours. It is important for educators to train and facilitate interpersonal skills along with basic knowledge so that the students can excel in their careers. Hence I feel it is important to have a balance and create learning objective that express the development of a student’s knowledge, skills as well as Competencies (aptitude). Being educators we need to development assessments based on experiential learning as well as applied learning rather than comprehension level of assessments that evaluates knowledge.
Decisional:
The world is ever-changing and with the advancement of technology, it is rather impossible to predict and have a clear structure of how education has to be for the future. Adaptability and acceptability is the keys to face such situations. Educators of the 21st century must be continuous learners and should be able to adapt to the new phases of technology and how to productively use it for the betterment of the students. Transformative learning as a factor of life-long learning is the key to successful educators, a special focus need to laid on transformative learning methods and techniques for students to be updated with the modern world international demand (Lavrish. Y, 2015)
