Bad thing that happened to my yesterday while being an extra on a small no-budget film shoot: I saw that there wasn't really anything happening that would require me for a while, so I found the person I thought was responsible for the actors, told them about my sleep disorder and that I would like to take a 20-minute nap, but they can wake me any time there is something for me to do. They said that it was fine, but didn't wake me, so I woke to find everyone gone and the meeting about the blocking in the shoot having started without me.
Good thing that happened to my yesterday while being an extra on a small no-budget film shoot: I waited for a quiet moment during lunch break, and approached the person I'd talked to tell them that I had felt very excluded because of them starting that meeting without me. They agreed that it was a mistake for them not to leave me a note where everyone had gone to, and it was quite clear that it wasn't anything done on purpose, just a lot of time pressure because of the nature of the project. They also opened up to me about some health issues of their own, and we had multiple lovely conversations. I think that I made a friend. :-)
I also got to play a vampire and spent the entire afternoon memorising Latin poetry, so it was really nice. And I was awake for TEN HOURS in one go, which... I'm always shocked to see what my body is capable of if I pump it full with drugs. (Said drug in question being coffee, and I didn't even drink that much of it.)

Hiii
I wanted to requst confort Bakugou in which his girlfriend relapsed in selfharms.
Okay so this is kind of a emergency request because i have been kind of low and i relapsed in selfharm yesterday after five months with out doing it.
Thanks so much 🩷🩶
Bakugou Comforts Girlfriend Who Relapses From S.H
| Pairing: ProHero!Bakugou x Fem!Reader | Genre: Comfort, Angst | Post-Type: Headcanons | Word Count: 980 |
Warnings: mentions of self-harm, blades, blood, scars, cuts, mentions of death (no actual death), self-blame, please don't read if these topics will bring you more harm than good.
Note: Hey, hope this is able to bring you some comfort. Even if you've relapsed again, don't blame yourself. Keep trying until those five months turn into a year and so on, even if you fall again. I'm here if you ever need me <3 (also thanks for requesting this, kinda forced me to write something after 2 months of no writing and Bakugou always gets my inspiration flowing. Sorry if it's bad though, I'm a bit rusty FHJKEBAF)
Bakugou walks in on you cutting after barging into the bathroom without any warning
You were a couple, there wasn’t much privacy between you both any more after years of being together, so this was pretty normal
However seeing the blood on you with a razor in your hands, he freaks out
He runs over to you and snatches the blade from your hands quickly, cutting his hand in the process as you begin to struggle
“What the hell are you doing?” He repeats over and over again, as if trying to understand what it is he’s witnessing
His heart is hammering in his chest and his palms get even sweatier than usual, he’s scared
He’s a bit explosive, running his hands through his hair as he looks down at you, getting blood in his blond hair from accidentally cutting himself, but he’s less worried about his mess and more worried about you
He washes you off and treats your wounds while mumbling to himself
Truthfully he’s putting a lot of the blame on himself
He had known about your past with self-harm, yet became a little lax after you’ve been clean for so long
As someone obsessed with keeping his loved ones safe, he feels like he’s failed from keeping you safe from yourself when you’re always beside him, wasn’t that his job as a hero? If he couldn’t keep you safe, how could he keep the country safe?
He might be a little harsh with his words, because he is upset, but he isn’t upset with you, he’s upset with himself for not noticing your struggle sooner
Surely you had been trying to avoid doing this but he’s been so preoccupied with hero work, returning home exhausted that he never noticed
Brings you into his arms in a tight embrace once he’s calmed down a little bit after seeing your tears and hearing your persistent apologies, coming back to reality and giving you the comfort he had failed to provide you with before
You feel him trembling slightly as he holds you, knowing how easily he could have lost you today, not from a villain, but from your own hands, the thought alone terrifies him to death
He helps you up (might even carry you because why not?) and brings you to bed, pressing kissing to the top of your head as he continues to hold you, not caring for the blood that was still dried up on his hands and hair from the wound he still hadn’t taken care of on his own hands, or the sweat still lingering on his body from a full day of patrolling and catching random villains on the street
You have to push him to leave you to go clean himself up so he can finally relax, not that he would relax after seeing all that
He refuses to have you tend to his own wounds, reassuring you that he was fine and would clean it up himself, he’s very self-reliant like that, not wanting to burden you with that or blame yourself for him also getting hurt
He feels a little anxious though, deciding to shower with the bathroom door open and talking to you about his day, making sure he hears a response from you every now and then
You’re his everything and he’d never see you hurt like that again
Moving forwards he’s very attentive, calling you throughout the day when he has a spare moment, and is uncharacteristically enthusiastic when you mention stopping by the agency to bring him lunch through the week, not that he’d ever tell anyone that, but you see him visibly relax when you enter his office and that gentle smile of his that only you have the honor of seeing is stamped across his face
You felt a little guilty for worrying him so much, yet you were grateful for his support after that terrible night and the fact that overall, he hadn’t treated you any differently and still cared for you deeply
At home he notices you hiding your scars from him, but he rolls your sleeves up and presses kisses to the tattered skin, showing you the countless scars he had on his arms, chest and face from years of hero work
“You gotta accept them to move forward, hiding them away just continues that internal battle inside you. If any idiot has the balls to comment on them, I’ll handle it. So don’t go covering them up”
He’s always been protective of you in his own special way, but that heightens after your relapse, though he does it in a way where he won’t be suffocating because he knows that would annoy him as well if someone did that to him
But he’s a little extra clingy when he’s home and his voice is a bit softer when he speaks to you
Because the worst thought suddenly crosses his mind after a few sleepless nights; what if he had been the one behind your actions? What if he had caused you to relapse by accidentally neglecting you due to his busy schedule or maybe he snapped at you accidentally after a long day–the thought made his heart clench
Even if he wasn’t the number one hero, he wanted to be the number one in your life, to be there for you and protect you, but what if he was the villain?
Noticing his distress, you immediately shut those thoughts down, you had your own problems you were working through in your head and with the things you went through each day, he was your only safe place
Though things got hard at times, you knew with his help that one day you’d never feel tempted by a blade anymore, and with Katsuki by your side, you knew that day would be a lot closer than you thought

Cedar Smoke
Sebastian x Reader
Author's Note: Another practice drabble! This one was loosely inspired by a plot post I saw on tik tok that was so cute it stayed in my head rent free. Also wrote this one gender neutral and I think I did pretty okay if that's chill to say.
Synopsis: Neither you or Sebastian sleep well, so you decide to spend the nights hanging out together since there's nothing better to do. It's just a way to kill time, right?
CW: Fluff mostly!!! They aren't in a relationship. Swearing bc it's a Seb fic so of course there is. Mentions and descriptions of anxiety and mental health problems. Oh also cigarettes because - Sebastian <3
Word Count: 2k
Tick. Tick. Tick.
It was enough to drive a person mad. An incessant reminder of every second you weren't resting.
You were tired, of course you were. Operating a successful farm and carrying the needs of a small community on your back wasn't for the weak. Every part of your body and mind ached for rest at the end of every day.
Each night followed the same routine: get home, bond with your dog, eat dinner, shower and head to bed. At the end of it, you always felt like you'd be able to fall asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow. However, when your head would finally lay and you'd begin to drift off, the last second before the sweet release of your dreams was met with what felt like a hammer to your chest. Knocking the wind out of you, you'd shoot upright upon being greeted by your old friend, anxiety. It wasn't the normal kind you dealt with on a daily basis, manageable with medication and some methods Harvey had taken the time to teach you. It was much worse and much heavier in your body. You weren't sure what the root cause was, just that it had been happening every night for months now matter what you changed or how you tried to cope.
You'd been lying there for hours, the clock finally hitting your last nerve. Sighing, you rolled over in search of your phone, finding it shoved under your pillow from when you gave up on a video or a game helping you calm down. The screen illuminated far too bright as you turned it on. Noticing you had a text notification from 20 minutes ago, you already knew who was trying to reach you at such an hour.
Seb: sleeping?
Of course he wasn't either. Though he would never fully share what was on his mind, you knew similar circumstances kept him awake well past most people too.
nope 🙃
Seb: same. wanna chill again?
yeah, you can come over here if you want
Seb: cool, be there soon
Standing up from your bed, you started fumbling around in the dark looking for something to change into instead of your pajama shirt. Settling on a sweatshirt, you threw it on and left your pajama pants for your bottoms before remembering that everything would've been easier if you'd just turned a light on. You really weren't sure how you were able to get about your day anymore with the effects of sleep deprivation in full swing.
The first time the two of you had spent the night in each other's company was accompanied by a symphony of frogs surrounding the lake by his house. The familiar pang of nighttime anxiety pushing you to search for any solution, you'd taken a walk under the stars to try and work through the tightness in your chest when you stumbled upon him smoking in search of similar relief. Since that night when you'd both realized you had similar luck around sleep, spending the dark hours together had become common, happening most nights of the week.
Padding out to your living room, you turned a single lamp on and plopped down on your couch while you waited for Sebastian to arrive. You began to scroll through instagram to pass the time, only making it through a handful of posts before you heard a knock on your door.
"It's open!" A half shout left your throat.
Creaks filled your ears as the programmer swung the door open letting himself in. A smile crept across his lips as a greeting.
"Hey, are you cold?" His nose was covered in a flush of red, reflecting the chill beginning to settle in for the upcoming season.
"Always. We can start a fire?" Your head tilted towards the stone fireplace his mother had carefully installed in your home during your last renovation.
"Thank god, it's fucking freezing out there" he let out a low chuckle while shutting the cabin door.
"I can make us some coffee too? Decaf, though, unless you want to commit to this whole 'awake when we shouldn't be' thing?" You poked, hopping up and striding towards the mug cabinet in your kitchen.
Sebastian glanced up from the fireplace where he'd already achieved a successful kindle over to where you had sat two of your favorite mugs. "Decaf is fine, but only because we should be sleeping. Don't give me that shit during the day."
The two of you locked eyes, the emo giving you a snarky side smile.
"I wouldn't dream of it."
With your mugs full of your shared favorite beverage, you returned to your spot on the sofa and pulled out the giant, chunky blanket Emily had knit for you last Feast of the Winter Star. Sebastian followed not long after, the fireplace crackling with the sounds of warmth.
"What's the vibe for tonight?" Your usual cheery tone coated your words even at this hour.
"Mmhm, we could start The Witcher over again? It's been awhile." Fabric slid across your legs as he tugged the blanket lightly to join you in bundling up.
"I'll never say no long-haired Henry Cavill!"
Taking a swig of his coffee, he snorted a laugh and shook his head at your thirst. You met his gaze with a giggle, reaching for the remote on the table beside him. The familiar dum dum of the Netflix intro sound filled your living room as you flipped on the series you'd rewatched a dozen times now.
Feeling a familiar cramp start up in your thighs from the hours of labor you put into your work each week, you decided you hadn't picked the most comfortable position to rest in having sat cross legged on the couch. Sebastian caught you wincing out of the corner of his eye as you adjusted your legs for any alleviation from how taught your muscles had become.
"You okay?" It came out almost a whisper, so quiet you weren't sure if he meant to ask at all.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah. Just sore from the farm. Sitting like this isn't helping either" a light laugh followed your words as you attempted to deflect from how unpleasant your pain had actually become.
He studied your face for a moment, your eyebrows had begun to furrow at the burn throughout your body while you continued to squirm in search of comfort. How you had overworked yourself to this point of exhaustion and still were wide awake with him he both did and did not understand. You should be passed out by now, but mental health was a bitch that took no prisoners, he knew that well.
"Would it help if you laid down?"
Shaking your head while giving him a tired smile, you returned "no, I can't watch the show from my room and I can't sleep either, remember?"
"No, on me" the emo blurted out so quickly he didn't realize how timid he should've been. "I meant, would it help if you laid on me. Out here."
Your mouth parted in shock briefly before finding the wit to respond. "Oh no, I really wouldn't want to do that to you I'll be f-"
"I don't mind. Promise" his face was straight aside from the worry lines on his forehead, giving away his genuine concern for you as he cut you off.
"Here." He gently helped you stand up before positioning himself horizontally on the cushions, resting his head on the arm. Once he had settled, his hand tapped against his chest beckoning you to him.
"Okay, fine, but this is better for your neck," you sighed a small laugh before tossing a throw pillow at his face. As you moved to crawl on top of him, he adjusted the pillow behind his head and moved to bring the blanket back over the both of you.
Stretching out, it was as if your body began to melt into his. Scent overwhelmed you in the best way. The air smelt of cedar from the fire, while the smell of tobacco smoke lingered on his hoodie. You weren't sure what cologne he wore, but something spicy and warm enveloped your head. Beams of light danced on the walls as the fire flickered around. Moment by moment, the ache in your chest grew lighter.
Geralt and Stregobor had just begun speaking in the illusion of the mage's tower when your eyes started to flutter shut. Sebastian's heartbeat thumping in your ear with the comfort of your favorite show in the other was enough to finish lulling you off with the anxiety now at bay. Once you allowed yourself to surrender to the exhaustion that was now your biggest worry, waking you up wouldn't be possible until morning.
"Want to watch the next one?" Sebastian quizzed as episode one came to a close.
Silence. Not even a twinge of movement left your body. He pushed your hair out of your face while he peered down at you in hopes of getting your attention. Greeted with the most peaceful he'd seen your face in months, the reality of the situation washed over him. You actually fell asleep. The corners of his mouth crept upward, relief brought to his mind that one of you was able to rest after all.
Seb pressed play on the next episode. Checking the time, he decided he'd put you to bed after this one and head home. His thumb mindlessly rubbed circles on your back and in your hair. Tension grew on the tv, but he found himself yawning when he should've been paying the most attention. Shit. He was about to fall asleep too. Realizing he wouldn't be able to make it through the rest of the hour, a wave of guilt hit him - he wanted to stay. Your body felt like the kindest weighted blanket on his own. The smells of amber and vanilla from your shampoo had been filling his nose as he played with your hair. His brain was quiet, and he couldn't remember the last time it was.
No. It would be wrong to overstay his welcome just because both of you had found peace in this moment. You weren't awake and able to ask him to stay and he wouldn't let himself cross any unspoken boundaries you may have had.
His elbows found the bottom cushions. He began to push both of you up in an effort to carry you to bed. As he slowly started moving, so did your head. Your arms wrapped around little tighter around his back. He froze, hearing you grumble something incoherent while your eyebrows furrowed together. Fuck. He wasn't sure how to get out from under you and keep you asleep.
Pulling an arm out from under him, he began to stroke your hair again.
"Hey, I need to get you to bed" he cooed.
You lightly shook your head, your brows still knit together. You muttered a small no along with it, but it was quiet enough to leave room for doubt.
He wasn't sure what to do. If he kept going, you were bound to wake up fully. You weren't actually awake enough to make a sound decision, but the small gestures you did manage made it seem like you wanted him to stay right there and stop moving. It went against everything in his moral code to stay without welcome, and he didn't want to put your friendship at risk. But god, his brain was calm and you were so comforting.
"Fuck it" he whispered to himself. If this was the wrong decision, he would gladly pay the price in the morning. His head met the pillow you'd given him as he wrapped his arms back around you. He swore he saw a smile tug at the corners of your lips in response. Hitting play on the show again, he let the quiet of his mind and the serenity of the moment soothe him away.
For the first time in years, he got a full night's worth of rest in your company.

Glorified Assistant (Iridescent, Part 2)
A/N: This is more for Maeve and Spencer!! And honestly I hate writing enemies to lovers, I believe in makeout on sight, so enjoy me trying to make a believable hatred.
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Fem!BAU!OC.
Summary: She’s been given paid leave to basically be Spencer’s assistant, and it almost isn’t worth it.
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: swearing, spencer is an ass™
Parts: Pt1, Pt3
Let me stress, this is not Maeve from the show, but my own Maeve just named the same to send Spencer into hell whenever he thinks about it.
Here is more of Maeve and Spencer.
Maeve thought she was home and free.
She hadn’t been fired (score!), and now Spencer was going away for his mandated thirty days off. Apparently he was doing some teaching at the local college, good for him, it also means they won’t have to interact and hopefully he gets his head out of his ass so that she doesn’t cry when they work together.
They’d left on a particularly sore note, considering that she’d been the one to drive him home and he made it very clear how much he hated the entire interaction.
Of course, he didn’t say a word, struggling to fit into her little, gorgeous dark blue mini and then clenching white-knuckled to his knees for the entire journey. He, actually, didn’t say a thing until he got out of the car, slamming the door shut and turning to scowl at her.
“You’re a fucking maniac. Take some more damn lessons.”
As he stormed off into his apartment, annoyingly only five minutes from her own building, she grumbled under her breath. She’d only grazed maybe one curb, and that wasn’t even her fault, it jumped out at her.
Whatever, she’d been able to sleep easy knowing that she wouldn’t have to see him for several more weeks, giving her time to prepare.
…
Until she was woken by her phone ringing at 5am, answering it blindly because she’s used to work calling her at stupid hours. It was her boss.. however, she was asked to take thirty days of paid leave - which she’s surprised the Bureau can even afford - to be the one to take Spencer too and from the college and just kind of shepherd him around for whatever he needed.
Apparently his car, old and vintage as it was, had been idle for too long and wouldn’t start. Since Spencer can’t be bothered to sort it out, and Maeve lives closest, and she’s his partner, obviously this falls to her to deal with.
Maeve, forever a pushover and unable to say no to any figure of authority, agreed and practically threw her phone across the room when she was done.
Understandably, she didn’t get any more sleep, getting ready for the day with the only solace that he looks like an idiot in her car. Making them both a coffee and putting them into her reusable travel cups, trying not to listen to the little voice telling her to drive into a wall.
After about ten minutes of calling him and getting no answer, she gets out of her illegally parked car and storms up. Although it’s really hard to storm anywhere in an elevator.
Hammering on his door, it took all of two seconds before it flew open and he barged past her, causing her to scowl over at him.
“Damn! Watch it! What’s your problem today?”
He barely looked at her, locking the door behind her as he struggled with a bunch of papers in his hands. A harsh frown on his face that matched his equally-pissed voice.
“Fucking coffee machine broke.”
“I got you one already, Christ..” Sucking in a breath and following after him as he goes for the stairs, thankfully he only lives on the third floor. “What’s with the papers?”
Spencer went ahead of her on the stairs, and she found herself rushing after him and his stupidly long legs. Cursing him with all the colourful words that she knows on her way after him.
“Car insurance, I’m driving today.”
Insurance? He got insured on her car without telling her? All to avoid her driving. This man is a level of petty that teenage girls aspire to be, and she has to resist the urge to pout as she trailed out of the building after him.
“But why? My driving wasn’t--”
“Stop asking so many questions and get in your little clown car.”
Quietly fuming, she didn’t even thank him as he held open the passenger door for her, sliding into the seat and picking up her coffee. Drinking it and trying to squash the thoughts of throttling him.
As he gets into the driver seat and immediately starts rearranging everything, her mirrors, seat, radio, she wonders just how long it would take for someone to realise that he’s missing.
Before he even drove off, gripping the wheel far too hard for her liking, he spoke lowly and glared ahead. As if he was stopping himself from glaring at her.
“Don’t come up to my apartment again. I will come to you. I expect you to be ready by six thirty, and since you have a working machine, you can make the coffees.”
“.. just drive already.”
She’s going to kill him by the end of this.
Considering she got paid to leave to, essentially, be Spencer’s glorified assistant, she decided to make the most of it.
Plus, annoyingly, his lectures are actually pretty interesting - as much as she tried to stop giving a shit. Between running to get him more coffees, again assistant, and handing out things to the students, she gets to sit and just listen to him talk about whatever content he chooses.
Psychopaths, mainly, their brains and behaviours, which she enjoyed immensely when she studied psychology and criminology. Damn, but.. he’s really good to listen to.
By the third lecture of the day, she was sat at the desk to the side of the platform, usually reserved for teaching assistants, scribbling in a pretty lilac notebook she bought from the student store. Taking actual notes for his lecture, thoroughly enjoying the content of the lecture and not the fact that it’s Spencer.
Spencer had noticed, immediately, of course, and hated it.
He doesn’t know what she’s hoping to achieve, or prove, because it definitely isn’t impressing him, and he can’t fathom the idea that she’s doing the work to just do the work. Why would she, after he’s purposely been an ass to her purely for existing.
There’s no way she’s actually just paying attention.
So, to test her, for his own morbid curiosity and the need to try and embarrass her in front of all these people, he decided it would be fun to throw random questions to her. Not even related to the topic he was covering. To him, she doesn’t seem like the kind of person to handle stress well.
As he proposed hypothetical questions to the students, he turned to Maeve with a grin on his face, which she finds much more unnerving than a scowl. Hands clapping together as he brought all the attention onto her.
“And for my.. assistant.” Oh, yeah, she absolutely hates that, even more than his smug little grin. “What are the disadvantages of Mary Ainsworth’s study when examining infant attachment?”
Now it was time for her own smug little grin to settle on her lips, which he certainly didn’t like the implications of.
It was clear that he hadn’t expected her to know the answer, or even have enough of a knowledge base to even remotely know what he was talking about. Thankfully she had always been a pushover, and when her friends begged for her to sit in on their presentations in college, she learnt a lot. Especially the ones who presented developmental psychology.
Also, a few times she opted to speak in front of lectures purely because she felt bad for the lecturers when no one would volunteer, which meant she was quickly forced to grow out of her fear of public speaking. Leaning back in her chair and crossing her arms, getting comfortable.
“Mary Ainsworth was American. And she made an American based model, off American children and families, testing it solely in America. It cannot be generalised to other countries.”
“But-”
He tried to cut her off, but she wasn’t done yet. That wasn’t nearly enough to feel like she’d finally won something between them.
“And. When it was, by Kroonenberg and Ijzendoorn, it was proven to have terrible generalisation. Because other cultures and countries have very different ways of rearing children that don’t fit her American guidelines.”
Spencer looked like he wanted to vault the desk and strangle her, and if it weren’t for the crowd of whispering students, he probably would’ve done. Giving him a soft smile, which only he knew was completely fake, she picked her pen back up and tapped her notebook.
“If that’s all, Doctor Reid, I was enjoying your lecture on psychopathic brains.”
And as she looks back down, he has to force himself to continue lecturing to curb the rumours he can hear being created by suddenly-dejected female students. Trying not to sigh at the knowledge that people are going to think they’re sleeping together.
Throwing one last glare her way, not even needing his profiling to know that she so gets off on calling him ‘Doctor Reid’. The simultaneous irritation and begrudging admiration was making him dizzy, wanting nothing more to chuck something at her head.
Whatever, on the way home, he’ll take the longest route he knows to run her petrol down to nothing. Anything to get another mental tally on their growing rivalry.
Want more?! Good!

the drowning motif in utena is so interesting because of how consistently it shows up across the different iterations of the story, while also being distinctly different in each one.
in the manga utena is saved from drowning by dios. she falls in the river when running away after learning her parents died, so i assume its meant to symbolize her grief. dios saves her, literally by getting her out of the water, and symbolically by inspiring her to be a prince and giving her the will to live again, much like in the show. although there's no anthy this time. and like the drowning in the other iterations of the story, the hero dies (i think?? i'll be honest i had a hard time following parts of the manga especially in regards to dios and akio and what the hell happened with them. dios might have died earlier and this is his spirit helping utena like in the duel at the end ? i don't really remember.)
and then there's the show where, during the final duel, juri tells the story about the boy who drowned saving her sister, and a parallel is clearly being drawn to utena who is trying to save anthy. like the boy, utena will succeed*, but "die" and be forgotten. this time, she is in the role of tragic hero.
(*she doesn't succeed in literally saving anthy, just in helping anthy save herself, but you know this)
the show also has the kitten nanami drowns. it is obviously symbolic of a lot of things in nanami's arc, but i also think a less direct parallel can again be drawn to utena. in the same episode there is the scene where utena thinks anthy is talking to her, when really she's talking to a kitten, after all. and like the kitten nanami pushed into the river because it took her brother's attention, so too does anthy "kill" utena when she chooses to side with akio over her in the final duel (although, of course her motivations for doing so are nothing as simple as jealousy, which doesn't even factor into it at all.) utena is the boy and the cat, the "hero" and the victim.
the movie has a sort of remixed version of juri's story, where she is the victim (not her sister) and touga is the tragic hero. utena is just a witness this time, but really, it's still about her in the end. when she remembers how touga died, that's when she can finally let go of the entire idea of the prince. of the saviour. the movie centers the drowning motif the most out of all the versions, and i think it's supposed to really hammer home what the show was saying about not being able to help people by throwing yourself headfirst into "saving" them. you'll get hurt in the process, and your sacrifice will be forgotten. in juri's story, the boy's sacrifice didn't even help her sister; she was rescued by an adult, someone who probaly had a better idea of how to actually meaningfully help. the boy just recklessly threw himself in the water, and ultimately his death had no meaning at all. since the stories are so similar, i assume the same is true for touga in the movie.
(although, saving someone from drowning doesn't really work as a one to one allegory for saving someone from an abusive relationship, because you kind of do have to pull someone out if they can't swim. or they'll, you know, die. there's a lot less nuance there about what the right thing to do is. but i think the point is that you have to know how to help, what works, what the person you're helping needs from you. you cannot just do whatever you think makes you look bravest or the most like a hero.)
#you could dive a lot deeper (pun absolutely intended) into all of this but i'll leave it at this for now#analysis#juri#utena#anthy#touga#manga#adolescence of utena#m

A Sign Of Affection Episode 4: What Kind of Voice
Boy oh boy there is a lot to talk about with this episode. Incredible production, incredible boards, incredible plot and character developments- it's got it all. So much so that it's hard to really put it all into words, but I'll do my best.
First off, let me talk storyboards. Yuta Murano has been insane with this series, boarding every episode so far- and he's been killing it, hell, even carrying it on his back (since he's the series director as well).
Anyways, point being that Murano has been incredibly intelligent in regards to boarding with this episode. How, you might ask? Spacing. The whole episode really hammers home the idea of space, both around characters but also between them. Murano leans heavily into the wider layouts like you can see above, but similarly uses first person perspective to create a strong awareness of the space between characters to help provide more feeling to Yuki and Itsuomi's relationship.
One super easy example is Kyouya and Itsuomi's late-night interaction. The combined use of first person perspective between the pair, as well as the wider shots between to show the empty space around them, really highlights their nature as friends incredibly well. He also really likes using doors and whatnot to frame the characters, and I love it.
Hell, I'll take it a step further too. See how Itsuomi is able to see Kyouya's face, but Kyouya can't see Itsuomi's? That's intentional, and shows how open Kyouya is vs how closed Itsuomi is. Very very great work.
And then there's this example with Shin and Emma. It's really subtle, but we never get a first person shot from Shin within. Even with Emma's singular first person shot he's slightly off center. The whole interaction is framed as Shin being there for a reason other than what Emma feels he's there for. His body language and demeanor, the way he reacts to Emma's words, there's considerable distance between the pair, and that gets illustrated very easily with the table in front of them.
Of course, my favorite pieces of this are with Yuki and Itsuomi. No barriers, no space between the pair, all of their shots really sell the idea of the empty space that exists around them as a pair.
I also just love that Murano has Itsuomi's personality down so well. He always strikes the exact same pose when focusing on talking with Yuki
Speaking of him, I love how catty he got with Oushi earlier on in the episode. Really fun addition to his very playful but reserved personality.
But lets rewind and dig a little deeper into that whole sequence.
Oushi, once again, really shows off his true colors a little too blatantly when talking with Yuki. The easiest comparison to make is the fact that Oushi is hitting Yuki's head while Itsuomi only ever pats it. Combined with the sign language for "cute", you really get a grasp on the challenges that face Oushi. Does he not pat her head because he knows what it means in sign language? It's hard to say, but paired with how he plays with her hair I think it's pretty easy to say that he does have some awareness of those things, and it probably comes from Itsuomi.
Anyways, moving forward again. While questionable behavior that does highlight Itsuomi's more... challenging side, I might say, the interaction between him and Oushi is really really great.
Firstly, because Oushi tries to use his familiarity with Yuki and sign language to put down the people around her so that he can take the top spot, but also because Itsuomi claps back and completely destroys him.
Of course, when it rains, it pours, so there's plenty of other character interactions in this episode.
Really, it's something that I'm incredibly critical about with my slice of life and romance series. The world itself is very wide, and people have more than a few friends. Being able to express that while preserving the core intent of the series can be challenging, but it makes a massive difference in overall quality and breadth.
And A Sign of Affection aces that aspect. Kyouya and Rin, whatever Emma's got going on with Itsuomi, then of course Oushi as well. There's a solid cast of characters that exist to surround Itsuomi and Yuki, and even more that exist in the periphery. It makes it feel so much more alive, and creates far more interesting dynamics that can ebb and flow based on which characters appear and where.
Though obviously, the main focus is Yuki and Itsuomi here, so that's where the majority of the effort goes, and it's entirely worth it. Just even simple things like Oushi only being seen in a crowd today vs Itsuomi being isolated when with her.
You might say that's just how the visuals shake out, but obviously a Costco isn't ever going to be that quiet so the idea is that because of Yuki, the focus is on Itsuomi so we don't really see much of any background characters.
Add on top the incredible sound design, and in this episode voice acting, and it's just a flawless experience. We as viewers experience the world in a surprisingly different fashion to Yuki, and the episode highlights that with things like the tone of Itsuomi's voice.
Incredibly simple and small details pepper this episode and the story at large, but they end up insanely important to comparing and contrasting the viewer's experience against Yuki's, challenging us to think and view things through her (very cute) eyes.
Anyways, let's put the icing on the cake here with animation and other work.
We know that this production is hand-obsessed due to the sign language, but that quality extends to other aspects. Being a very reserved and casual series there's not a lot of room for impressive animation, but the episode still finds way to show off with cuts like Shin cutting hair here.
Similarly, 2D vehicles? It's really a whole other flex. The requirements for keeping such a detailed object on model, all while in motion is really really incredible. And there's a surprising amount of those cuts in the episode.
Overall, A Sign of Affection continues to hit home run after home run with each episode, and delivers an experience that is only possible because of the medium. Creative to the max, it does everything in its power to elevate the source and create and entirely unforgettable experience. Saturdays really have been great this Winter season.

Question: I got to ask Jensen this a few years ago, but you were not there [?] -
Jared: Well that sounded judge-y.
Question: Because Supernatural was on the CW and a regular network, there were standards and practices. How do you think Sam's character or storyline would be changed or been different had it been on, say, HBO?
Jared: That's actually a better question than I think it sounds like. Sorry I wasn't there years ago -
Jensen: What'd I say?
J2: [crack up]
Question: You were onstage with Misha and you both looked puzzled but you went, I'm just trying to say that we're not having sex.
Jensen: That tracks.
Jared: That's the opposite of what I was gonna say -
Question: The entire panel went downhill from there, and I've been blamed for that for years.
Jensen: That also tracks.
Jared: You know what's funny is that I've thought about this, and I wonder what Ackles thinks. We've kind of talked about it here and there over the years, but I - and we talked about this yesterday in the Meet & Greet - I kind of really enjoy that there are guidelines. It's sort of - if you can just do anything? There was a funny interview with -
Jensen: You get The Boys. That's what happens.
Jared: Which is great, but - You kind of have to be more creative within boundaries. That's how I parent, these are the guidelines, these are the rules, this is the box you can't leave, play within it. As opposed to just do anything and everything. And I think you can lose some of the art - and The Boys is amazing. Like The Boys wouldn't work on the CW and -
Jensen: [laughing] No.
Jared: But that's what it is. And, you know, that's what it is. Like, I don't know if, when we come back, I wanna say fuck on a network. But I dunno. It's gonna be a discussion, between he and I - he and me - and among whomever else, but I don't know there's something magical and universal. And, I mean, there were probably a dozen or two dozen children here yesterday that if we're running around naked or saying this that and the other, it might not translate. And hopefully parents wouldn't show that to their kids. Yeah, I don't know. I'm happy, I'm happy with the CW, and also because we have y'all and because of the CW and they let us work through our growing pains, we did fifteen years and I think anywhere else we would have been dead in the water. After Dead in the Water, as a matter of fact.
Jensen: That's right. I think if anything it would be just maybe an elevated gore version of Supernatural. There was a lot of - like I don't think necessarily, y'know, more colorful language or, yknow, more skin or anything like that? I don't think that that would really benefit the story, necessarily. But I think what we could and couldn't show in regards to scare and blood and, y'know, that kinda stuff, we had to temper that. So I think maybe we'd probably elevate that to an extent if we were on a network or a streamer that allowed that to happen, where there weren't standards and practices. But there were - we pushed the envelope. The writers definitely pushed the envelope, like one thing I remember is we couldn't say prick. But we could say dick. So they wrote an entire season with a guy named Dick Roman just so we could hammer that home. And I think that was -
Jared: Wow. We could say hammer as well. [hits forehead on mic repeatedly]
Jensen: That's right. So it's like Jared said, there were ways of trying to push the envelope a bit with staying in the parameters that we had to and those guidelines. And I think as a show that was on a broadcast network we probably took a little bit more of a risk and took some chances, moreso than I think most network shows? And I think that was exciting for us, but I think if there were no parameters and we were able to do just whatever we wanted to, I'm not sure it would be that much different, because I don't know that it would serve the story as well.
Jared: Yeah, if the puzzle has no rules then is it really a puzzle? Y'know? That's a strange question, sorry.
Jensen: [exaggeratedly reacting] What?!
Jared: Have a happy Sunday. I'm saying if someone just gives you a thousand pieces of a puzzle but anything goes anywhere, then who gives a shit? If it's like -
Jensen: What?!
Jared: [exaggeratedly reacts] I love puzzles.
Audience member: We get it!
Jensen: You don't understand! Stop placating him!
Jared: Thank you for your question. Oh, you're still going?
Question: Basically Jensen many years ago you had mentioned at some convention that maybe Dean had had a history of sex work as a child* -
Audience: What.
Jared: You did what?
Jensen: [baffled] Huh?
Question: Someone said it to you, that maybe as a teenager with John being gone a lot, Dean may have resorted to sex work.
Jared: That was probably in jest, if he ever said that, I'm sure it was not a legitimate, like, character backstory.
Jensen: Yeah, no.
Jared: Just speaking for him here, because I think he's a little -
Jensen: [sarcastically] It's too bad we're on a broadcast show, I really think he would have done some teenage sex work. Yikes.
Question: I'm a writer so it sparked ideas -
Jensen: [flatly] Great.
Question: but you know like drug use, other things that maybe you would not mention in the show -
Jared: Thank you for your question.
Jensen: She has a high regard for Dean Winchester, clearly. No, thank you.
Jared: Thank you.
*Someone brought this up as a thing they vaguely remembered a while back here on tumblr and there was a discussion attempting to track down a source. Which eventually only came up with this quote from a 2008 interview [X]
“Dean’s a bit of a pool shark and also a bit of a gambler. It doesn’t really show it all the time, but it’s definitely implied that there are poker games and pool matches that they can win some money on. And who knows? Dean’s a promiscuous kind of guy. Who knows how he drums up the funds that they use?”
Which seems more than a little facetious, and while suggestive? Is not equivalent to what fandom wanted to remember it as. Putting aside how weird it is to ask about an off-the-cuff remark from fifteen fucking years ago even with a source? She's clearly repeating the source-less fandom rumor since she claims it was at "some convention" - because as we all know, fandom is always both accurate and honest about things like that! Even putting all of that aside, which we really shouldn't? It's such a questionable topic to bring up in a convention hall full of people, to J2 who have made it clear several times they want to talk about canon not fanfic. Who literally just finished answering your first question by saying they weren't interested in making the canon any more salacious! Just ... woof.

So I like thinking about franchises that disappointed me in some way
and after watching too many reviews I redesigned the High guardian spice characters (and thought of how the plot could work way too much)
Rose in this version isn't a complete idiot, and may not be so book smart, but she is very good in combat because she's kind of a fangirl. Like, "she studies attacks and can probably name pretty much every guardian" fangirling. While she is still kind of a dumbass, she's the one that always brings Sage down to earth whenever she gets too stressed. Although she is mostly the source of that stress. Her mom was taken by the rot, but she isn't really sure what it is, so when Thyme mentions it devastating her home she's like "!" so they can actually have something that might bring them together. She decides to take on forging and weapon enchantments so she can have a moment where she steps out of her mom's shadow to do her own thing teehee Sage here is still kind of an ass (her sexist discourse to snap was NOT a Girlboss Moment) but here I think it would be interesting if it was something that other characters think its weird too. Like its a belief ingrained into her together with the more traditional upbringing by her family (thus her only knowing old magic) so it can be part of her character development learning how those thoughts should be changed and that not everyone thinks like that, But she still tries her best to be respectful and kind. (also, her parents sent her to the academy because new magic is VERY new, so the fact that it was being implemented in the curriculum was not widespread, specially in a small town like where she was raised in.) she's an overthinker to the core, so sometimes she needs her friends to calm her down, although sometimes that anxiety is what prepares them for something they weren't even expecting.
Parsley is honestly well written enough in the original show, so the only things I would change is that the progress with the conflict with her parents is stretched a little through episodes, and the conflict is that while her parents want her to be a blacksmith and take on the family business (and help take care of her three thousand simblings) she wishes to go out and do something for herself as a warrior, because she wanting to go to school to become a blacksmith and her parents fighting her on it because they want her to become a blacksmith is kinda dumb. also her short ass hammer feels so weird to watch in the series, so I think that a longer handle would make it a little better. also tiny irony of her weapon being taller than her. Thyme feels like she should be written better because shes the only one that actually has any correlation to the plot, but she kind of... isn't?? I like her backstory of being ran out of the woods she lived in because the rot was devastating it and her dad staying behind to try to solve it, but I think it would be more dramatic if her dad was killed in the conflict but she doesn't know so dramatic moment when she finds something that belonged to him (maybe a little charm she made? for protection? in the way children do that stuff for their parents) and she connects the dots. Also the rot here is because the overuse of the power new magic is able to draw out without the control of old magic is taking too much energy from the earth, and woodsy areas thrive on it, thus the root like structures of the rot. The trees are basically oysters for the magic energy of the world. When its bad, they turn bad too. Also make her more of a "expresses affection through favors and actions, not words" person. She, Rose and Sage took wayy too long to become friends. Amaryllis stays the same because she is perfect and I love her and if you disagree to talk to the wall I personally think Snapdragon is good too but I would make him genderfluid instead. I think that the idea of Caraway THINKING he might be a trans girl but that ending up not the correct answer would reinforce his "there's always more options than you think" speech. And someone needs to point out how he's drawn to women that scream at him. Also we need a better arc with his dad instead of the raw carrot that was the canonical "his dad reinforces toxic masculinity hurr durr" thing we got (that wasn't even well made btw) NOW TO THE SIDIES
Slime boy is now named Slime boy because of an accident he had in potions class the previous year (he's one year older than the main cast) which caused him to continuously produce a slime like substance instead of stuff like spit and sweat. It doesn't inconvenience him a lot other than him making bubbles when he speaks every now and then. He's just an assistant in the terrasphere shop, and the owners are Alloe and Anise (wow they actually do something else in the story!!) but he's mainly just a more experienced student that sometimes knows things the main cast doesn't like secret entrances and cool rooms and stuff. He's a full on bard because that was barely explored in canon and music based attacks are cool. He has the tiniest little crush on parnelle cuz I thought that would be fun Parnelle is ENBY because I SAID SO (and cuz cal is stablished as transphobic and I like payoffs) and since whatever they're doing at the academy is never really clarified, I made them kind of an animal whisperer, like they call on animals to assist them in battle and other stuff. (Maybe then we actually get to see the trixies again after their prolongued mating dance that lead to literally nothing in episode 1) being an animal whisperer is a very rare "old magic" hability thus why they entered the academy one year earlier than expected. They sew their own clothes and are still the generally weird little guy they are in canon, except this time its explained as them preferring to communicate with animals ever since they were a child. They are still very polite and friendly tho, always happy to help. Cal is (his full name is calamagrostis and like if I was named that I'd be an asshole too) still parnelle's cousin, but he doesn't outright bullies them. in fact, he isn't an outright bully, he just tends to look down on other people that don't follow what he believes in, which is a more traditional view on the world, kind of like sage, so I thought of him maybe being a catalyst to her being like "wow I can see why my way of thinking may be bad now, I don't want to be like him" which pushes her to grow and stuff. And I want him to grow as well, so I thought, maybe he and Snapdragon used to be friends, but recently they drifted apart and he started to kind of resent him after he came out as genderfluid, but deep down he still misses his friend, so maybe that pushes his character development. And other people saying that hes kind of a prick. idk I just really hate the trope of a bully character just being there to be the mc's punching bag instead of getting development.
In general, the lore would be (I think, I'm not the best at lore) that Guardians are generally like soldiers, but in a more captain america type of way. they're more like beacons of hope and symbols or power and peace than soldiers are, (thus rosemary knowing a bunch of them as they're usually famous) but they are still required to know combat. High Guardian Academy is known as a guarantee to become a good soldier, and a high chance to become a guardian. They VERY recently implemented new magic in the curriculum, but are experimenting with mixing its high power output with old magic's control of it, (thus why caraway knows how but why none of the students are being thaught it. It's a fairly new tecnique they'd rather get a good grasp on before teaching a bunch of children how to use it) because since they're expertly trained guardians they can tell that a terrasphere takes too much energy above what would be considered okay. They just aren't aware of how much tho, the extent of the rot is a secret held close to their chests by witch country, which is where the terraspheres come from, which has brought them tons of profit and advancements. So when someone knows about the extent, or tries to stop it, they are eliminated, (thus why thyme's dad died. People that stayed in the fairy woods and knew how bad new magic could be were all "silenced" so they could keep profiting out of it.) (Any letters or research about the rot, or from the people that knew, were burned and interfered with, thats why no one else knew about it.) idk what else to talk about cuz this show had such little things to explore but there's so much filler that almost none of it got explored but I think it had potential, even if I prefer to focus on character interactions and how they change eachother. Again, I'm not very good with lore. and plot.

There's something more going on with the Tanizaki siblings.
When I first watched the show I thought their weird pseudo-incest was just gross anime humor, but after reading/watching as much as I have its clear bsd isn't really like that.
I can't think of many examples of bsd being typical anime gross for no reason, even with Mori, its used to hammer home just how disgusting of a person he is and make him seem even more sinister.
Also its not just some background detail, its central to Junichiro's character and a lot of effort is put into showing that. When he's not around Naomi he acts nervous and shy but still kind and just seems like a normal guy.
however the moment Naomi is put in any kind of danger he switches completely, turning into someone so sinister that even mafia enforcers are shocked by his blood lust.
This isn't just determination to protect his family, its an overwhelming urge to destroy everything that might be a threat to her.
Naomi herself is also interesting, when she's not around or talking about her brother, she's clever, kind and determined. she keeps a cool head when her and Haruno are being chased by the guild and even is able to outwit them a few times, she also picks up on Steinbeck's love for his sister and immediate try's to manipulate him into letting them goby exploiting it.
She takes a lot after Dazai, using observation and manipulation. in The Untold Origins light novel they even work together. I wish we got to see more of this side of her, but the moment she's around her brother she is completely fixated on him in a really creepy way.
They're almost defiantly not related by blood, Atsushi even points out that they look nothing alike, they also are heavily implied to be sleeping together which makes the whole pretending to be siblings thing even weirder.
I don't really have a conclusion here but I just wanted to put all the evidence in one place.
maybe Naomi is a manifestation of Tanizakis skill since we have seen him create solid holograms before. (like when Hirotsu was able to touch one and activate his ability) so maybe she is a secret aspect of his skill.
who knows, what do you guys think?

i must say your take on Non Nocere was genius thank you so much for it!
It truly makes so much more sense for the characters! I would love to hear some more of your ideas!
What would be another part of the story that you would change if given the opportunity?
HI! This is my first Supergirl ask, I am honoured and excited :D (apparently a little TOO excited because this got kind of long and rambly, but I'm going to post it all anyway because you've started me off now. I am however resisting the urge to add yet more 'and another things', which I absolutely could).
Thank you so much! I feel like there were so many ways they could have taken Lena’s post-reveal arc that would have made more sense than Non Nocere. I think it would also have been interesting to have something with more genuine moral ambiguity than ‘brainwash the entire world’ which, while framed in a way that had clearly good intentions is still… brainwashing the entire world. Lena just seems too much in favour of personal autonomy/individual rights to make that decision for the entire planet (and frankly too smart not to see the glaring flaws with that plan?). I *could* see her inventing a device that does what Non Nocere does, but on an individual scale. Ie you can put this thing on and be freed from your worst impulses.
Her fear of her own darkness and her struggle not to be like the rest of her family would tie in well, and could even help justify the decision to work with Lex again if he claimed to want to wear one when it was done. It would be a way for her to (think she could) have her family back but to get it RIGHT this time, and Lena craves affection so desperately, whatever she claims, Lex would be able to feed her the spin she needed to believe it (but unbeknownst to Lena would find a way to make a fake that gave off an apparently genuine reading but doesn’t do anything, so he could use it to manipulate her into believing his intentions were genuinely good and get her to help him with something that turned out to be Extremely Nefarious). The wearing of the device would be like a badge of trustworthiness to let her mark out people she could get close to without fear of betrayal.
She’d make them a requirement for her staff. Her friends. Anyone who wanted to be in her life. It’s something that could be horribly abused and no doubt would be in all sorts of ways that would make Supergirl & friends oppose it, but that would bring in the conflict, and the resulting fight would make more sense to me.
You could even have a scene where Lena goes to Kara all tentatively excited and hopeful and says that she has found a way to forgive her and they can be friends again! She just has to wear this, because then Lena will know she can trust her. And Kara refuses. Of course she has good reason to refuse – Supergirl can hardly wear something that won’t allow her to lie or hurt anyone when she has a secret identity and her whole thing is beating up villains… but Lena takes it as an admission that their whole friendship really was a lie and spirals further into heartbreak/anger/despair/Lex’s clutches (because HE wore one for her. Her murderous, Superman obsessed, apparently irredeemable brother did this for her and yet her paragon of hope shining example of integrity and goodness supposed best friend refused. And now Lena is questioning everything she thought she knew about who is really on her side).
ANYWAY you asked what other part of the story I would change and I just gave you a really long splurge of a DIFFERENT change for the SAME part of the story. Sorry!!
Honestly there are so many bits I would change...
The very first one that comes to mind is Kara’s big identity reveal at the end, because what WAS that? After they repeatedly hammered home how dangerous it would be and how it would inevitably lead to everyone she loved being targeted, suddenly all of that is just… fine? No need to address it at all? Even though there is now a small child involved who just got kidnapped and used against them REALLY recently?
I would have loved to see her embracing her Kryptonian heritage and living much more authentically with the people who are important to her instead of making a big public announcement. Like actually talking about where she came from and teaching her friends/family her language and culture so she can participate in things that are important to her with people she cares about, which feels far more genuinely meaningful than having strangers recognise her as Supergirl in the street (for example, trying to replicate food she misses from home - food is Kara's love language, this is something that could be such a wonderful way for her to reconnect with her past and have fun introducing her new family to it. Teaching them Kryptonian songs and getting them all to try them out at karaoke night! Hilarity and mispronunciations and a blending of all the things that have come to make her who she is ensue. Telling Esme bedtime stories and teaching her games she remembers from her own childhood, so she feels less like those family traditions are lost, because they don’t HAVE to be. And also Lena being super interested in learning about Kryptonian courtship rituals for... no particular reason...)
I could even see her coming out more generally as an alien, but she could do that without coming out *as Supergirl*. If nothing else, I feel like she would really struggle with having that much fame in her day to day life, because rather than letting her just live freely as her authentic self, announcing herself as Supergirl would put her under a microscope. Every single aspect of her life would be open for public scrutiny and judgement, and she’d find herself with far less freedom than she has as just Kara Danvers. It would be devastating to her life. It would put her and her loved ones in danger. It would be a really, really bad idea.
(also the fact that Cat made her editor in chief when before that she was probably one of the least experienced reporters who was hardly ever even at work because she was constantly nipping off to save the city, citing herself as a source etc… but that’s a whole other issue and is at least something she could have got to in time, after actually doing the work).
This is getting long now, so… probably enough for now? Thank you so much for the ask!!

J2 having a thriving the best solo career out of any of them but also ending up being arm candy but also like. Maybe covert pull as an industry producer is something so personal. And I am convinced his new manager that’s his endgame is also kinda Portercoded but if Porter was normal actually and people STILL can’t help but infantalizing j2 like. Did you know j2’s husband is 30 years older than him? I think we should kill that guy w hammers. And it’s like. Ok but they met when j2 was like 30+. You guys do understand this is a grownup w a career who said I wanted to fuck the old man and then did right.
YEAHHHHH j2's never escaping the infantilization. once a large contingent of the fanbase has been convinced youre babygirl you cant even get hitched to a hot generationally wealthy DILF who spoils you and eats you out within an inch of your life every night without everyone having something to say about it.
j2 kind of grows to resent and hate his fans after a while. like it's a gradual but NOTICABLE shift from the extremely parasocial "i love my fans so much you guys are my REAL family!! im gonna have my team handpick a bunch of you to invite to my home in fallinel for a secret listening session for my new album every album cycle!!" to cold detached (jace-like) "honestly dont even bother putting out a PR statement responding to these entitled cunts, just let them say whatever they want and it'll blow over. enough of them will still come to the shows and buy a tshirt anyways"
and then he retires from music to his home with his husband, only occasionally working as a producer for close friends like lucilla, j3, and j4 (i think j4 takes a long time to let him back into her life after how everything went down. and he gets it. but it hurts until she does).
and j2's husband is soooo portercoded but like you said he's normal. he's not cheating with j2, hes not comparing him to jace constantly or making him feel small and unimportant and idiotic. he just thinks j2 is sooooo hot and very sweet and he needs to be Inside him. and j2 with lots of therapy is able to severe the connection in his brain between "being cared for" and "being someone's caged pet"

Request about Chris Evans falling for camera girl in the movie of avengers 2
Falling for you
Pairing: Chris Evans x reader
Word Count: 1.3k
A/N: Hi! I hope everyone is having a good day/night! Thank you anon for sending in that request, I really liked writing it. I hope you enjoy it!
Masterlist
“And action!” You heard the director shout beside you while pointing the camera at Chris Evans who tried to lift Thor’s hammer. It is such an honor for you to work with Marvel and be able to film with such talented actors. You love to watch the movies and you’re a big fan of the actors. It was your dream to someday be a camera girl in such a popular franchise.
“And cut!” The director shouted and then you could have a break. You decided to go to the coffee shop near the set. When you were waiting for your coffee to get ready you looked at your phone to see where and with who the next scene will be. Ah, cool it’s a scene with Elizabeth Olsen. You have seen her on your first day on set and she was so kind and sweet. When the barista said that your coffee is ready you wanted to grab it when suddenly someone else’s hand reached for it.
“Oh, I’m sorry.” A guy beside you said. When you looked over to him you could see that it was Chris Evans.
“You are Y/N the camera girl, right?” Chris said with a smile. You never talked to him in person you only saw him from a distance and filmed him.
“Yes, and you’re Chris Evans.” You nervously said.
“That’s me.” He said with a chuckle when the barista interrupted you and said that his coffee is ready.
You both grabbed your coffee when Chris said. “Do you want to sit down for a bit?”
“Sure.” Chris went ahead and sat down. You took the chair across from him and you took a sip from your coffee. You got a little bit nervous because you didn’t really know what to say to him. You didn’t want to say anything wrong or make him uncomfortable and with that thought your leg started to bounce of nervousness.
“Do you always wanted to be a camera girl?” Chris broke the silence.
“Yeah, it all started when my dad bought me a camera for Christmas when I was eight years old. At first I was just taking pictures but after a while I started to film our everyday life at home. The years passed but the camera stayed. I studied photography at college and I have already done a few photoshoots but filming is something that has always fascinated me.” You paused.
“Sorry I didn’t want to bore you.” You began to get nervous.
“Oh, no you didn’t. I like to hear more about other people instead of talking about myself.” Chris smiled and you were glad.
“And I find it really interesting” Chris added. You talked about a few other things. Chris asked you about your filming skills. Chris started to ask some random questions and you had a lot of fun.
After a while you looked at your phone to see what time it is. “I’m sorry I have to go now the next scene starts in 15 minutes.”
“It’s okay I also have to go and change clothes for my next scene.” Chris said. You both paid your coffees and left the shop.
“Bye Y/N, see you” Chris smiled at you and went into his trailer.
…
After the last scene you are about to go to your car to drive home when you heard someone calling your name. When you turned around you saw Chris holding your bracelet.
“This is yours, right?” He said and you were so relieved that he found it.
“Oh my god, yes. Thank you so much Chris. I was searching for it everywhere.” You could see how he began to smile.
“Of course. See you tomorrow Y/N” Chris turned around and went to his car. The entire drive home you had to think about Chris. About how sweet and kind he is. He was so interested in hearing about how you started working with the camera. He even wanted to see some of your pictures and that you bring some with you the next time. You are so exited to see him again.
…
It was early in the morning when you went to the set. On your way to the trailers you saw Scarlett coming out of her trailer dressed as Black Widow. When she saw you, she immediately greeted you. The day went on very well. All scenes didn’t take long to shot. There was one scene that you really loved to film. It was the one were Black Widow comforted Hulk in the woods. Later you went to the coffee shop again. You were about to leave when Chris walked in fully dressed as Captain America. When he saw you, he began to smile and you could feel butterflies in your belly.
You walked up to him “Hey Captain” Chris chuckled.
“Hi. You are about to leave?” He asked and you could see a little sadness.
“Yes.”
“Oh, man I thought I could see you here and we could talk like yesterday, it was really fun and I liked talking to you.” Chris scratched his neck.
“You came here because you wanted to see me?” You nervously asked to make sure.
“Umm yeah.” Chris began to blush.
“I could give you my phone number and we could chat or meet up.” Chris smiled and took his phone and gave it to you. You tipped in your phone number and he puts it back into his pocket.
“So now I really have to go, bye Cap.” Chris laughed.
“Bye.” He said and you walked out of the shop.
…
You are finally home when you got a text message from an unknown number.
Hey Y/N it’s me Chris! I hope you had a good day.
Hey, my day was good how about yours?
Mine was also very good. I went for a walk with Dodger earlier.
After texting with Chris for an hour you went to bed and hoped to see him tomorrow. The days went by, some days were good, others were just okay and then there were some that were bad. Today is one of the bad ones. It all started at morning when your car suddenly didn’t work, and you came too late to work. Later one scene didn’t go as planned and the director didn’t like the way you filmed it. While you were waiting for your taxi to arrive, you got a call from your sister that she can’t visit you this week. You couldn’t take the day anymore, you could feel tears building in your eyes and began to sniffle. When you looked up you could see Chris and you immediately turned around. You didn’t want him to see you like that.
“Hey Y/N.” You looked at your phone and didn’t answer him.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Chris asked you. You whipped some tears away and looked up to him.
“Oh, Y/N, what happened? He said in a soft tone.
“This day was really shit.” You sniffled.
“Can I do something to make you feel better?”
“Can I have a hug”
“Of course, come here sweetheart.” Chris pulled you into a big warm hug. After a few minutes you broke the hug and thanked him.
“Do you want to come home with me? We could watch a movie and you could meet Dodger.” Chris asked you.
“Yeah, that would be nice and I’m finally going to see the cute dog from your profile picture.” He gave you a smile.
In the car he handled you his phone and let you pick out some music that you like but he also gave you some comforting looks because he wanted to make sure that you’re alright. When you were at Chris home you watched a movie, played with Dodger, ate some pizza and told Chris what was bothering you. He was so sweet and made you feel better.
“Thank you so much for making my day better.”

First of all, you have given me so much to work with, thank you so much. Second of all, I’m really glad you could see where I was going with Grant’s real test not actually being about killing Slade. Third of all, I absolutely love what you’ve suggested with the powers and I am currently designing met gala esque outfits for the trio and Tara’s specifically is really fun to play around with. I’ve been thinking to show they’re becoming more divine I’ll change their hair and eye colours but not their faces for the most part. I was drawing robin Jason with Natalia and decided he should have brown eyes and a crooked nose from breaking it as a kid but once he returns his eyes get weird (eg go blue and occasionally other colours), a patch of his hair went white and he lost all of his scars. Also, I think the closer they get to divinity I’m gonna draw cracks on their body that glow with their specific colours just to hammer home how they’re shedding their mortal forms.
With Tara being able to see the strings of fate, I though it’d be fun to give her a harp and then with Jason having the see no evil trait I thought it’d be fun to give him weighing scales since lady justice wears a blindfold. Idk what to give Grant though. I mean probably a weapon of some sort or maybe a Shepard’s crook that he can turn into a scythe to play into the sheep, wolf, Hunter thing.
With Jason and Tara’s splintering, I love the idea of them making fun of Grant for being the baby god. He hasn’t even had a cult yet, gosh he’s so young. Also them being besties just holds a special place in my heart.
And I just came up with this, of course they have parallels to the trinity but in universe rumours of their existence have been around much longer than Bruce, Clark and Diana. They’re the big three of the justice league but these guys are justice gods. So they start calling themselves the justice trinity but then people get confused about which trinity is which because the justice leagues’ trinity sounds awfully close to the justice gods’ trinity. The new all caste is certainly more distinctive branding but the point isn’t to be distinctive, it’s to be petty.
I'm so glad my unmedicated rambling helped!!! And I'm so excited for the outfits!!! I love when characters start becoming less and less human, when they're stuck in that uncanny valley spot of not quite human but not entirely Other, when they lose control and the cracks start to show...um I should probably give a warning for slight body horror elements. Not in the gore sense, in the "this body is not made of flesh and there is something divine clawing it's way out". Uh also there are teeth. Just. Teeth. I dipped into a little bit of cosmic horror at the end there because I wanted to cover my bases with mixed mythologies
Jason, with his defined splinters, is usually depicted with three faces in ancient texts. The Child, gaunt and dark colored, is said to appear before the downtrodden and impoverished. The few stories remaining tell of kindly people who give him an offering, and in exchange he reveals his true form, with his crown of golden ivy and beautiful strong wings to gift them bounties of food and water and riches. Other stories tell of not so kind encounters, where The Child witnesses an injustice - typically against women or children - and again reveals his true form, one with clawed hands and a mouth dripping with blood. Scholars argue what the wings looked like, but whichever All-Caste member annotated it before has compared their likeness to either a Robin or a Shrike.
There's also The Ghost, He appears young at first glance, but his hair is wirey and gray, his eyes milky and unseeing, in bloodied armor he greets the souls of the damned as they're delivered to him, and with scarred hands he wipes the tears of children taken too soon. Accounts of this face are few and far between, but all of them are entrenched in sorrow.
Finally there is The Soldier, scarred and still smoking from the ruins of battle he emerges, giving voice to the weak and resources to the needy. He champions revolutionaries and philosophers first, a strategist who delights in the liberation of the people from corrupt systems. Accounts of him usually come from times of famine and war, and he was particularly popular with poor villages, who would mark the graves of their dead with the symbol of his sword as offerings. For some reason or other, he got particularly popular with the youth, girls and boys both seemed to pray for him and leave him offerings.
The way these manifest on Jason is subtle at first. I could go the body horror route, but I won't. Yet. Instead I think his splinters show up as reflections, shadows, imprints. The faint echo of bell-like laughter when Jason does a move he learned as Robin, the image of a younger him with longer hair and unblinking eyes staring at him in the mirror. It gets worse when he gets the blades, the white streaks his hair, the swirling mark covers more of his skin every time he uses them, he trails the scent of smoke and blood behind him like a signature. His scars...they should disappear. They have for everyone else who used the pit, but instead his skin starts cracking. Any place he's ever been scarred glowing cracks break up his skin. He can't feel them, but he's always aware of them, the meaning behind them, the divinity literally leaking through his body. His eyes aren't brown anymore. They aren't even green. He looks in the mirror and they are copper, molten and burning. He tries his best to keep his mask on.
What do you think of when you imagine the word divinity? Probably something like Tara. Something with skin carved from stone, with moss and fungus crawling up her legs and snow laden shoulders. They say her hair is made of swirling clouds and the sun and moon are her eyes.
Some say she's a nymph although no one knows what kind. You're just as likely to see her name among the naiads as the dryads. Whether flowers bloom where she dances or waves crash when she sings, she's known to be more vicious towards suitors than her sisters.
Others have said she's a faerie, who takes the faces of lost daughters and lovers, slipping into their places seamlessly, forcing unruly men to pay their dues. Others say she's a shifter of a different sort, with a shawl of feathers and a crown of twine and gems. Stories range from men trying to steal her coat (and paying dearly) to lost children returned safely home on the back of a swan.
Tara doesn't think about it at first, the way gravity tends to cede to her, she doesn't notice how sunflowers turn their faces towards her instead of the sun. She doesn't notice the way her face...shifts. it's imperceptible really, and it's not like she looks in the mirror all that often. But everyone around her notices it, on some level, the way her expressions are off. A little too exaggerated. The way her limbs bend just a little too oddly. The way she never looks quite the same as she did the day before, the way she picks up features from the people around her the way she picks up rocks from ground to add to her collection. Clay molded subtly into the image of those she loves, a museum of everyone she's ever met. She does notice when her hair starts going white at the ends, the strange way her hair starts to curl unnaturally, almost floating. She's not so upset about her eyes, the deep blue of her father that has glared down at her day after day, she has changed her hair, her face, her language but she could not change her eyes. It seems she didn't have to, when she wakes up with one a little too silver to be gray and one a little too gold to be brown. And then her skin starts splitting, a cavern made from a broken rib and ravines made by the slashing of knives. She doesn't even bleed anymore, they never scab over. They crystallize, amber like ambrosia, like ichor. Her body a geode waiting to be cracked open to let the thing within finally break free.
They know the least about Grant, whatever he used to be. Half written scrolls, torn or burnt or simply stopped abruptly, illegible journal entries with symbols never recorded in any known language, half finished sketches where the details are never quite clear. A few things are usually consistent though, signs that he's been there, usually from hunters down on their luck or the particularly old and sickly. First, the howling. Like a wolf or a storm, although later accounts would add that it occasionally sounds like a mechanical whirring. Then the rabbits, dead and gutted, but not a trace of blood. Piles of them left in heaps on doorsteps or windowsills. Some have reported knocking at strange hours or finding teeth in their homes, a mix of human and animal. There is one photo on record, the most recent thing in the archive most likely, of claw marks on the side of a barn, too big and oddly serrated, certainly not from anything native to the area. Elderly that report these phenomena typically pass from heart problems within the week, according to some of the old medical files.
Grant came back wrong. Physically, at least. He knows that he's still himself for the most part, dying didn't make him a selfish asshole he did that all on his own, but...but something is wrong with him. It's the way lightbulbs flicker when he's mad and how cameras, no matter the quality, never quite get a clear shot of him. The way Joey can't ever grasp his features, not fully, the details slipping from his mind like water. The way eyes on his face slide right past, unable to look directly at him. It's in the gray spreading from his roots and his eyes too wide and dark to belong to something human. It's the way death clings to him like a second skin, sickly and pallid turning the tips of his fingers gray. His teeth are starting to feel too sharp for his mouth, and he hears things no one else does, whispers of voices that Are Not and Can't Be. The worst part is the orange, liquid candlelight under his skin, lighting up all of his veins and scars, webbing together like the world's worst game of connect the dots. No, there is no mistaking him for something human, so there is no reason to try. If this is his fate then he will take it, because he is not a sheep and he will not be a wolf, he is a hunter, and he is hungry.
#Jason as a Christ like figure is funny to me#Imagine growing up with a Catholic mother going to church praying for her health#and then you find out your soul predates the mf AND he plagiarized you 😒#that's more sad than funny but you get the picture#I also wanted them all to be represented by prey animals that are actually known for being really aggressive#like birds are typically seen as Docile but Shrikes are vicious assholes#and Swans which are coveted for their grace and beauty but are actually FERAL#it also marks Grant yet again as the odd one out by not giving him a bird#I gave him a rabbit because while I did consider a sheep it didn't work as well#Rabbits aren't dangerous to humans but they are aggressive to each other and won't hesitate if you push them#but they're also very sought after for hunting and as pets#I think Tara should have a very Changeling type vibe#y'know a little bit of fae energy#Grant is very much like a cryptid to me#cryptozoology is pretty new and people are still spreading stories about them#so it feels appropriate for a younger god to be associated with#there's also every chance he DID exist before the recorded records of him#but for some reason or other there's just less of him mentioned#Jason Tara and Grant have always been three after all#So what's obscuring Grant's mythology? fun little mystery 😉#dc#jason todd#tara markov#grant wilson#New All Caste au#also I have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to Tara and fancy clothes for her#because she has SO MANY INTERESTING AESTHETICS#I also really like your skin cracking idea so I tried to individualize it a little 😊#Grant's did get kind of body horror though

Monster Spotlight: Mountain Giant
CR 18
Chaotic Evil Gargantuan Humanoid
Bestiary 6, pg. 153
There's a great many giants in the world who view humanity as little more than cattle (at best) or pests (at worst), but when those giants need a reminder that they're not at the top of the totem pole, it's these giants who deliver it. Mountain Giants are the boogeymen of giantkind, so awful that even normally nomadic giants like Hill Giants and Taiga Giants give wide, wide berths to any mountain or canyon they so much as suspect might host one, because even one is too many for most tribes to deal with. Only the threat of starvation or death can motivate a tribe to potentially tread into Mountain Giant territory, and even then they only stay as long as they absolutely have to, fleeing it as quickly as they can the moment they're no longer in danger.
Unlike many tall tales told to scare children, the fear giants have of Mountain Giants is 100% warranted. Mountain Giants don't just see humanity as cattle, but everything except their own kind as their playthings, hunting and killing anything they see for the sake of food and entertainment. Easily bored with just spattering victims with their giant hammers over and over, sapient creatures captured by Mountain Giants are often tortured for several hours before they're killed, butchered, and devoured raw... but this is good news for a party who gets captured alongside a caravan of disposable NPCs. They'll probably have a chance to escape the thing's lair as it messily toys with the other captured victims! Another bit of Paizo's mercy is that they've made Mountain Giants so territorial and their appetites so fierce that they don't form tribes like most giants do, with the maximum number of Mountain Giants encountered in a given stretch of territory (outside of DM interference) being 2.
Even one is more than enough for most parties, though. Mountain Giants are not dumb brutes who walk up and Full-Attack whatever they see like their lesser Hill Giant and ogre kin, they're shockingly smart ambush predators who have earned their place on the top of the food chain. They have extremely potent innate magic, able hide their 45ft tall frames with at-will Invisibility and an already-high +29 to Stealth to get the drop on creatures who may be expecting them, appearing directly next to a party and trapping their victims in their 40ft threat radius (20ft space, 20ft reach).
When that's not enough to give them the advantage, they can use Deeper Darkness at will to plunge sections of their homes into total blackness, which they can easily peer through with their See In Darkness ability to pull one over on full-darkvision parties that forgot how Deeper Darkness works. They're smart enough to know their reputations precede them, so they can draw out enemy resources ahead of time by using their 1/day Mislead to create a duplicate of themselves to absorb the first round of enemy fire while sneaking up behind the party with the Greater Invisibility granted by the spell... but if the monstrous giants don't think their prey can hurt them at all, they may just Dimension Door right into the middle of the party to get right to brutal business.
And I do mean brutal; Mountain Giants come armed with +2 warhammers sized for their Gargantuan frames, able to swing them up to four times a round for 4d6+17 damage (except not really, because Power Attack can add +8 damage). They critically strike on a 19 or 20 and deal 3x damage on a crit, and if the crushing blow doesn't kill the target, they're ALSO subject to a Staggering Critical to prevent retaliation. They have some investment in the Two-Weapon Fighting tree to also let them use the +1 dagger in their off-hand effectively, adding an extra 2d6+16 damage to their Full-Attack... or 6d6+16 when it uses Improved Vital Strike.
But why use Improved Vital Strike with its comparatively piddly dagger when it could slam its hammer down for 12d6+17 damage? Because if it uses Vital Strike with a piercing weapon (ANY piercing weapon, not just their dagger!), the victim is Impaled by the weapon, shishkebabed and held in place as though they were grappled. Any victim speared in this way can then be swallowed whole next round, shoveled right into the horrid giant's gullet to take 3d6+11 damage each round until they escape or die. No stranger to eating their victims raw and in fact rewarded for doing so, Mountain Giants can Devour any Humanoid corpse of Large size or smaller as a full-round action to gain Fast Healing 10 for one round per HD of the victim, a bonus they also get if a creature dies in their stomach.
Though they have no DR, Mountain Giants can take enormous amounts of punishment through more indirect means. If the party can't dispel the humble Deeper Darkness or even the playing field with Blind-Fight or similar, it's an uphill battle through the concealment as the Giant's health ticks up through the Fast Healing it's getting as it chows down on the party's hirelings, NPC escorts, or just some poor souls the Giant brought with them in their pocket. They're immune to Cold damage, which isn't especially surprising, but what WILL absolutely catch the party casters by surprise is the fact the Mountain Giants are immune to fear AND mind-affecting effects, something that you KNOW caught at least one Runelord in the past by surprise when they tried to do their usual "enslave the local giants" schtick. Any Enchanter hoping to gain one of these towering juggernauts as a pet to stomp all over the rest of the campaign through Dominate Person is in for a very, very unpleasant surprise. Maybe if they're lucky, the giants will at least kill them quickly for their hubris.
You can read more about them here.

Aleksander Aamodt Kilde on Lindmo (x) - English Transcript
AL: Aleksander, it's so good to see you.
AAK: You too.
AL: It's so terribly painful to see the pictures of the horror fall you had in January. Do you remember what happened?
AAK: I remember parts of it. I was a bit in and out. It was very... I remember the entrance of the fall and falling on my back through the gate. Then I don't remember much until I'm leaning forward and feel that something has happened. I feel like I've really hurt myself.
AL: You really cut your leg. Did you notice it?
AAK: That's what I wondered most when I was lying there, how my legs were doing. But I could only think about my shoulder, because it was really dislocated. It was just the thing that was hammering in my head, that there's something wrong with this shoulder.
AL: So it was dislocated.
AAK: Yes, dislocated. It was dislocated that way. It was kind of hanging forward a bit. I was leaning forward, then I "blacked out" again. When I'm lying on my back, I only look down at my legs. Then I see that something has happened to the leg. There's some film blood spurting out of the leg. Then I'm just like... Now I have to lie on my back or breathe calmly with my stomach. Then I just have to try to stay alive. Then it's straight to the hospital.
AL: You'll get stabilized there. When do you wake up?
AAK: They flew me down to the ground and back into the helicopter. Then it was flying to the hospital. My shoulder hurt so much, but I was still conscious. Then I said, "You have to do something now," and in one second I was gone. Then I woke up after the operation, when it was around nine o'clock in the evening. I really had no idea what had happened. The first thing I thought of was that I had to tell my family, Mikaela, people, that I'm here. "It's okay, I'm alive."
AL: But they had gotten the message, right?
AAK: They knew everything.
AL: Mikaela was there and told you, then?
AAK: Yes, that's how it ended. So she was there, and that helped a lot.
AL: You've fallen down before and hurt yourself. But how would you compare what happened there with the other things you've experienced?
AAK: I tore my ACL. It sucked, and it sucks. It's a big injury. No offense to ACL injury patients, but it wasn't even close. There's a trauma involved in what happened now that I've never experienced before. It's tough both physically and mentally. In one second, you go from going 150 km/h and living off your body to just being struck down and being in a wheelchair for eight weeks. It was very, very special and quite tough. When you end up in a wheelchair, you can often roll forward and get places. In the shower, you can shower by yourself. But it was difficult. I was like this and that.
AL: With one arm...
AAK: Then you just go in a circle. So it's a bad arrangement.
AL: It was an intense few days and weeks in the hospital, then home. Then you were also in need of care. Who could help you then?
AAK: It was my mom, then. She got on the plane and was there right away.
AL: And she's a nurse.
AAK: She's a nurse. That helped a lot. She has worked in the emergency department at Bærum Hospital, so she knew a bit about the big picture. She's seen a lot of terrible things before. But it's a bit different when it's your son. She's been a hero. Without her, I don't know what I would have done.
AL: Now there's an arm that needs to be fixed. You have the deep cut. Your body is scarred. But what about the head? What about the mental? How has it been?
AAK: It's been really tough. I've probably been at the deepest of the deep blue in my career and in life in general. I've been thinking a lot about everything. I've thought that I don't want to go through that again. I don't know if I want to do this again.
AL: Have you realized why you fell? Have you been able to see it?
AAK: Yes, I've looked at it a lot. I think it's part of the process. I think it's important to accept that it happened.
AL: Do you think you shouldn't have been skiing?
AAK: Yes, I actually do now. But I've gotten back on my feet. You learn from it. It's a process.
AL: Are you scared now? Is there an enemy now, that you're going to have fear? Can you have that?
AAK: That's a good question. I think I have to try first. I have to try and see if I can actually stand on the start, that I have no problem with this. But I hope and believe that it will go well.
AL: But have you ever thought that I won't do this again?
AAK: I have, several times. And I've told those closest to me that this might be the last time.
AL: But have you made up your mind? Can you do more? Are you going back?
AAK: Yes, I'm going back. I'm going back. I got a little emotional here.
AL: What you're saying now is that it's been pretty dark, but you've made sure to create something extra special and cozy in the middle of all this, I know.
AAK: You know?
AL: Yes, I do. Someone has been gossiping a little bit. Why don't you tell me about it?
AAK: Yes, I can. There have been many ups and downs. One of the ups has been the closeness to family and Mikaela, especially. So I was lying in the hospital in Innsbruck and thought that this is it, in a way. Then I called and ordered a ring from Norway, so... I'm engaged.
AL: Look at her! What a happy lady!
AAK: It's a victory.
AL: She's so happy. I have a thousand questions, but first things first: With your bad leg, did you manage to get down on your knees?
AAK: I did, actually. It wasn't easy. No, it went really well. Adrenaline, you know. I didn't feel any injuries then. Then it was just a matter of going for it.
AL: That's a winner. Down into a beautiful kneeling proposal. Congratulations!
AAK: Thank you so much.

HAMMER TIME
(if you don't want to see my personal posts, my tag for then is "Dat Rambles")
Okay
OKAY
So this is me shamelessly talking like a first grader who just got handed money to buy whatever the hecc they want in a candy store
This hammer
THIS. HAMMER. (Continued below cut)
Is the draw hammer i learned to forge my first blades with by my friend and mentor who has been teaching me his blacksmithing skills and i can't even tell you how much it feeds my silly little soul to now possess it.
Especially since i was unable to find one just like it; i am so excited to start my forge up in the nearer future. I have a lot to do yet tho set up my workshop and continue working on my body's physical condition so I'll be ABLE to do smithing
Anyhow
Yeah
I just wanted to squeal about this because it's kind of a huge life moment for me. Actually no not kind of, it just plain is. I'm very, very happy and excited and holy heck I've wanted this for so long and now i have everything i need to start my own blades and armor workshop space and AAAAAAAAAAAAAH
There was also something very sweet and get soothing; while I knew i would be getting the hanger this week, i managed to completely forget about i for several days after much eagerness ensuring the delivery would happen.
i found one of my Mjolnir necklaces the night prior, and then my mom came home telling her sorry of the week and showing pictures and telling me how their drive home was very blessed because they drive in the eye of a very, very big bad storm system most the way home and had a perfectly safe drive and even saw the coolest super low to Earth Rainbow. Then she plopped the hammer in my hands.
Anyhow yeah it felt like a very important piece of my life taking into place alongside other pieces and i just feel like I'm exactly where i want and need to be right now.
#Dat rambles#Draw hammer#Blade making#I'M SO EXCITED GUYS I LITERALLY CANNOT#I STARTED SHAKING AND JUMPING UP AND DOWN IN THE HYPE WHEN MY MOM GAVE IT TO ME OR WAS GONNA VIBRATE MY MOLECULES APART#AAAAAA#HAMMER
