Hi anon! First up, I know how you feel-- to my knowledge I only know of like two other artists for this ship (both JP; people I'm friendly with) so when one goes missing, it certainly feels like a Void.

As far as people in the tags go; there's a very good reason why I never venture Into the tags, even at the start of my venture into KH. I don't even check my own Username tag because I saw something, once, and went "yknow what, nah". Some people are rancid for just the reason of having a squick towards a pairing with age gap-- despite most of their claims (Zexion being a minor; he's not, by an interview that lists all the Org minus Rox as 20+) (Aeleus being his 'father figure'; he's not. Ienzo has never listed Aeleus as a Father figure, when he lists his parental/mentors [They are listed as AtW, with a mocking commentary about Even's behavior towards him.]) just being headcanon. They spread this like it's canon, and use it as ammo to hurt strangers because they saw something they don't like and threw a fit, like a child being introduced to bitter vegetables. I never understood why they didn't just block, mute, move on. Rather, they'll openly vaguetweet, spread hate, and even screencap and go after users who don't use English as a first language leading to fear and hiding, with "is it safer if I just delete?" worries for their bullying behavior. [<- real situation! I had to speak a friend down from a metaphorical cliff over this!]

This kind of atmosphere does tend to kill a creative drive when someone is just enjoying a Kingdom Hearts fan-ship. I've never personally let these people get to me, but I'll admit I 'fell victim' to drawing for other fandoms and getting kinder commentary and reactions. (That's where I've been! Other fandoms crawled in and took over my mental space since it was kinder to engage in them.) (this also killed my urge to draw for KH at all. Not just the pairing I still love a lot and think of often, but in closed spaces with friends.)

So thank you for this message! It was nice to hear. I don't have any advice for anyone who wants to see more art from artists they love beyond "Support them", even if it's scary. If you support something and want to see more of it, openly support it.

See the thing is with streaming its going to die regardless, yes companies handing out less contracts is killing it further but its already dying at a fast rate? I'm not a stream hater either btw I really enjoy them but like. For example. 2020, 2021? When school was remote and I only ever worked mornings because of covid hours? I was clocked into that Philza 8hr stream DAILY. I was scheduling my classes around those streams so I could do homework while listening/watching. Went as far as to use my monthly speaking privilge to ask Phil what date British Daylight Savings began so I could keep my schedule clear. The second everything was no longer remote, and store hours went back to normal, I maybe caught 2, 3, maybe 4 streams in that year before I decided enough was enough about QSMP and I LOVE hardcore content.

From a company standpoint I can see why YT may not be interested in handing out streamer contracts anymore. Like Dreamie and a few others they're recognizing the Covid Number Boom is over- but unlike Dreamie, because theyre a corporation, they can't just "stick it out" and "recelebrate milestones". They have a "bottom line" to protect and they're not getting that same sweet sweet ad revenue from streams because of decreased viewer counts. Esp bc people don't just go back and watch vods unless there's a REAAAALLY good reason to. So no ad viewership there either. They're going to go back to relying on videos (and unfortunately probably shorts as well, I hate the tiktok-ification of every socmed site) to keep their ad revenue up, especially with the battle of ad blockers. I see more ad and monitization deals being handed out.

With streams (bc vod watching is lowkey practically nonexistant) not being in high demand bc of time constraints (happening while busy, timezones issues) the demands for videos will be higher as videos are ALWAYS readily available. Someone uploads at midnight your timezone? I mean it'll be there when you wake up, you won't have "missed" anything like you would have a livestream. Get a video schedule set out and you're GOLDEN- the first thing I do when I get home from work is check if a handful of youtubers have uploaded to put on to watch. If not, I rewatch some of my fav vids.

Also psychologically I actually think this is for the better of all CCs as a whole. Streaming, esp for some of the hourly requirements some of these ppl either HAVE to hit to get paid or WILLINGLY put themselves through (Tubbo) you have to wear your persona the ENTIRE time. You have to make sure you don't slip up that ENTIRE time. You have to be entertaining the ENTIRE time. You have to filter yourself because it's all live. To me this just sounds like what I do on a daily basis masking my audHD and that shit is so tiring and it's why I could NEVER be a streamer. If you're recording videos you can control what goes out. You don't have to wear whatever persona you decide to put on for 8hrs for a stream, you can record 3 hours of footage and then be done for the day, and that can either be one video or multiple depending on a lot of factors. Accidentally say your mom's name? Cut the clip. Bit isn't funny? Cut the clip. They will still have to actively filter themselves yes but for a much less amount of time. In the end CCs will have a lot more mind power that they're not using up to take care of themselves. I genuinely think it's psychologically better for them all.

It's unfortunate that the streaming industry is going to collapse this way. But also seeing how the communities heavily affected by streaming are more drama filled than communities w/o streaming, I'm lowkey hoping it's for the best. Pulling the plug like this imo is a mercy kill.

I appreciate the essay-andy-ing these are interesting thoughts! I don't think the streaming scene will collapse entirely but I do think that it will become more advantageous to be a youtuber because people have found that to be the most consistent for many years as a CC rather than streams which require a lot of additional things (like you mentioned)

And I feel like we are seeing quite a few people say they're going to prioritize youtube more in the future which seems to be the beginning of that transition

I am curious if twitch will ever try to keep certain big-viewer streamers on the platform with 'kick-style' ($$$$) contracts.

SUCH A FUN QUESTION!!!!!! out of courtesy i will put my ramblings under a readmore because (warning) there is a lot. sorry in advance but more than that THANK YOUUUU for granting me the opportunity to yap my little head off.. bows and curtsies

to answer your question (which season is my favorite): i am very very partial to third life (as evidenced by my username) !!! i think theres something sooo special about the energy of that season in particular, everyone still trying to gather their bearings, no one really having a handle on the general scope or severity of what's about to come-- there's such a fresh doe eyed feel to it that betrays the utter chaos we all know is coming. it's timelessly charming to me!

narratively too, there's so many plotlines that i adore beyond measure that come specifically from 3L. grian's arc in particular is like, the most beautiful poetic accidental masterpiece ever written to me (and everyone else lol) it makes me legitimately upset on a regular basis that it somehow wasn't scripted out in advance and just a whim of improvisation and fate. & when you have other just as equally thematically rich arcs (and foils!) with dogwarts, the altar sacrifice, impulse's original betrayal (and bdubs' to him!) etc. its just full of all these incredibly fun & deeply engaging story beats that make each and every single rewatch just as enjoyable (if not more!) than the last. third life my absolute beloved of beloveds

mechanic wise though, and just for value of pure entertainment, my technical "true" fave and/or close second is secret life!! i think SL's gimmick is by far the most unconventional but flexible out of all the seasons thus far, and by nature of its gimmick it got to bring back fan favorite mechanics (i.e. double life) in a fresh & innovative way. it's also the season that i think is most successful in providing extremely satisfying pov switches-- this goes for all the life installments really, but its especially pronounced in SL, where members are required to keep their respective missions confidential. watching a single person's pov only to find someone acting inscrutably strange & immediately switching to their video to find out the reason why is an Immense Amount of Fun & i can't think of another series that has kept me smiling so wide it physically hurt. everyone by nature is assigned their own mini-arc each episode so to speak & watching them each individually try to overcome their assigned challenges While Seeing Others Also Attempt To Complete Theirs In The Background (minus crucial context) leads to absolute golden hilarious interactions. i would not mind a rehash of secret life at all.

also, on a more self indulgent level, i love secret life for its inclusion of the watchers & the very direct level of interaction that season had with us as the audience. the inclusion of the watchers conceptually lends itself to a litany of metanarrative shenanigans that i am personally incredibly incredibly weak to and will leap at the chance to elaborate on (if. i can. in a coherent fashion. which i more often than not can't LOL) obligatory omniscient reader's viewpoint shill here BUT i have a very specific & personal to me way i like to interpret the watchers (based on orv) & secret life is tantamount to that particular interpretation. the watchers are us! but the watchers are also them! nothing can exist without observation (a witness) and thus, we bare witness to every single triumph and tragedy that they lay before our eyes. it gives their lives meaning. and it gives our lives meaning, too. smiles

OMG HAHA So here's the thing with a twist.

Imagine Kozume Kenma meeting his significant other for the first time on a special genshin Impact co-op stream.

Imagine you, how just happened to got home with the help of your relatives manage to got home safe from a family gathering that day.

Imagine going home sober enough to remember you haven't done your commissions and daily routine on genshin Impact. So you sat there in front of your computer, looking at the clock which says 9:00 pm. You still have enough time to do your routines.

Imagine leaning back in your gaming chair, sober enough to do your commission and routine as long as you don't stand up because might as well black out on the spot. Anyways!

Imagine farming for Cyno and Heizou, having one of your daily routine was to farm for those guys and their freaking scarab beetles and onikabuto. It was like hell, going through the desert, mountains and forest, it requires a lot of patience and which you obviously lack nevertheless you still farm for those two annoying materials.

Imagine farming those two hellish material and never just stopping at your own world, not till you manage to farm at least 50-60 per day so it goes without saying that you do co-op.

"Kozu- kodzuken??" You were tired, sober enough to do your commission but tipsy enough not to recognize your favorite streamer. "Kodzuken??? Why does this sounds so familiar. I swear to god I've heard this somewhere." You frown but eventually shrug it off, wanting to finish farming so you could just go to sleep in peace.

Puddin: Oh honestly nevermind that, can I have some of your scarab beetles? Please? This is literally the 6th world I've join and they haven't unlocked the desert region yet.

Imagine the way his super chat as well as the normal chat explode in laughs and disbelief as well as a bit of disappointment but as they say Kodzuken chuckle, no, laugh in surprise. They have all forgotten about you who looks like they don't even know what they were doing and to whom world they are currently in.

Kodzuken: No I haven't farm yet.

Kodzuken: And yes, I have unlocked all way points in the game.

Kodzuken: And yes again, you can go ahead and catch some scarab beetles.

Imagine the way he let out another laugh chuckle upon seeing your reply in which he find cute for some reasons. It looks like to him, as well as his viewers that you have no absolute idea what was happening on his side right now in which he find absolutely hilarious.

Imagine as his character watch you from afar in the desert. He could not help but to smile as he watch you going around looking for your materials in which doesn't seem to appear. Well, you aren't in the farming spot after all.

Kodzuken: Are you sure do don't need some help?

Imagine the silence after that, the way your character just stand in there. Eventually three dots starts to appear.

Puddin: Please.. Do show me the way hehe.

Imagine the way he once again let out a chuckle, his viewers taking a note of how many times have he showed that beautiful smile in this stream right now, the way his super chat explode when he does.

Imagine him helping you throughout the stream as the two of you wander your way on the desert, mostly because you seems to have forgotten where to farm as Kenma lead you the way to catch some beetles. It goes the same when you went to collect the onibakuto.

Imagine as time flies, both of you not realizing how long the two of you were in co-op until his alarm rings, it's time for him to end the stream, he does have an afternoon classes the day after.

Puddin: Awww really? Well I guess its a miracle I last this long.

Kodzuken: Hm? What makes you say that?

Puddin: I was just planning to farm on your world but we end up taking down a few weakly bosses too.

Kodzuken: You mean weekly?

Puddin: Nah it's weakly because they're weak

Guess who's gotten into Rottmnt/Tmnt 2012! Me!!

And you know what that means?

I've created an crossover AU between the two!

I've actually been working on this AU since September, and have been posting a bunch of art videos of it on my tiktok (demonwitchcat is my username on there too if you want to check them out, though I am going to try to post the ones I can here soon) I just haven't really gotten the chance to post it here since it requires me to type so much, lmao XD

Anyways, here's the first art piece I did for it! Some of the designs are a bit outdated, since I've changed them up a bit after getting the hang of drawing them, but for the most part it's all still cannon, lol

The AU is a ROTTMNT and TMNT 2012 crossover AU called "Wrong Home" and it takes place during the ending of the Rise movie & about a week after the first two episodes of the 2012 series. Age wise, this makes Rise!Raph(Rafa) two years older then the 2012 bros(17), Rise!Leo(Leon) & Rise!Donnie(Dee) both one year older(16), and Rise!Mikey(Angelo) the same age as them(15). This is kinda important.

So what happens is instead of Angelo being able to make a portal to bring Leon home, he accidentally and unknowingly sends Leon to the 2012 universe. The 2012 Brothers are alerted by some sort of tracker that Donnie has that some big mass of energy suddenly appeared in the streets of New York. Thinking it might be the Kraang, they go and check it out. They end up finding Leon passed out and injured in an alleyway. They take him back to their lair and patches him up. They also come to realize that Leon is from another universe, and is essentially another version of Leo. After Leon wakes up and the whole shock where's off, Master Splinter tells him that until they find a way to get him home, he can stay with them as long as he'd like.

Leon takes him up on the offer, and ends up become a sort of older brother to all of them, offering all sorts of advice and, once all healed up(atleat physically), helping out on missions and patrols. He makes sure to take a backseat role though, so that Leo can get the necessary practice he needs at being a leader so when it comes to making the harder choices, in the harder fights, he can.

Problem in the Rise universe though... They all think Leon is dead(or at the least they have no way to get to him in time before the Kraang kill him) and they mourn him. Over the course of the first month following Leons "Death", Rafa and Dee both end up isolating themselves in their grief, leaving Angelo alone most of the time. April notices this and convinces Rafa to let her, Cassandra, and CJ take Angelo out either to the hidden city or through New York in an attempt to help him. Rafa agrees, and this ends up becoming a common occurrence. April even gets him a cloaking broach with the help of Sunita.

However, a month later(2 months after the kraang invasion), while on their way to meet up with the Casey's, something ends up triggering Angelo and he has a panic attack so bad he activates his mystic powers and sends himself to the 2012 universe. Leaving April to tell the others that he's also gone.

Angelo's not as lucky as Leon though, and ends up getting found by the 2012 Kraang and taken prisoner. There, they experiment on him and force him to use his mystic powers. He's trapped there for roughly around four months before escaping on his own.

After escaping, he immediately goes into hiding, going undercover as a human using his cloaking broach. Not even a few hours after escaping though, he ends up meeting the Casey of the 2012 universe, who finds him in an alleyway coming down from another freak out. Thinking he was just some kid who had just been attacked by some gang or something, Casey takes him back to his place to get him patched up. After that night, Angelo finds an abandoned building and takes up shop there, getting most supplies/furniture from the junkyard and stealing what he couldn't(he'll later take odd jobs and similar things in order to get money to actually pay, but he can't do that right off the bat).

A week or two after meeting Casey, Angelo starts going to the same school as Casey. They re-meet and end up become close friends. Angelo even considers telling Casey of his mutant status, but decides he can't risk it.

Back in the Rise Universe, Dee and Rafa are devastated after learning about Angelo's disappearance. Having now lost two of their brothers, Rafa and Dee end up becoming extremely close and rarely ever leave the others side. They also rarely go out and fight crime anymore, both to scared to lose their last brother. They spend most of their time in Donnies lab. When their not in the lab, their out in the hidden city, not being able to take being in the rest of the lair as just about everything reminds them of their brothers. Splinter, April, Cassandra, CJ, and Draxum all try to help them, but they can only help so much.

ArtsyCrow46 isn't really my thing. It doesn't have as much of a mark on me as Luci Luck, it being my internet name for years(3 years more exactly) and it has some strong lore behind it. With that said, I'm currently only keeping artsycrow46 as my Spooky Month Username. It's going to come around every October :O, but it's not as permanent as luciluck2046.

I can make a rp blog for my crow Artsy tho :3 (I have no real crow, just a wool figure my bestie made) The lore behind the crow is wild. My bestie made a lil crow as a little meaning for my username on my bday and I FUCKING LOVE THE DESIGN. But I can make a human version for it (I suck at drawing animals TwT but Caraw was my best human-crow I made)
