GUHHHH once again thinking about how hard an apotheosis vs riptide fight would go mannn. i am imagining a choreographed fight in my heeaaadddd.

apotheosis vs riptide. its set up as a gameshow so non lethal but like go off and be as deranged as u want u know what i mean. when it starts the pcs are a bit disorientated because where the fuck are they?? help??? theyre introduced to the premise of the game. differing reactions. peter "no", exandroth "YES", gillion "sounds like fun!! i accept this challenge!!!", thanatos "what is the point of this", rumi "yeah exactly thanny we dont gotta do this i dont want to fight", chip "exactly!! (going to pee his pants at the sight of thanatos)", jay "yo but i could totally take them in a fight??" but you know they cant go home if they dont play and its not LETHAL so they agree. besides, both teams are relatively confident?

les go!! count down 3 2 1 and the teams are fighting. each pc naturally splits off to face against the best fitting match. chip vs rumi, peter+exandroth vs jay, gillion vs thanatos. they start off confident but very quickly things go WRONG... the godslayers are like strong WAYY strong and the albatrio are taking hits man. this one on one is going down and it really starts dredging up all their anxieties. chip doesnt feel like he's a good leader, he's not confident, he doesn't know what he's doing, rumi is tripping him up repeatedly and doesnt even seem phased. gillion thinks he's strong but he's getting SLAMMED by thanatos and gillion is freaking out because oh god he's not strong enough, he can't protect his friends, he's going to LOSE. jay she's fuckinnngg usually a good shot like she deals DAMAGE she's grown UP being the good shot, she spent her childhood training, but it literally just doesnt phase whatever the fuck she's fighting, it's not making a good enough dent.

shit aint working so the albatrio scramble and change their matchups. gillion vs rumi, chip vs peter+exandroth, thanatos vs jay. gillion is so brute force that rumi is forced back a bit. chip is. chip. exandroth is struggling to hit this little worm. jay keeps her distance from thanatos and is able to get some good shots in. they're chipping away at the godslayers it looks like they're getting up and. well. the godslayers are getting bitter abt it they got sensitive egos so they muster up enough coordination to knock chip and jay back, and they DOWN gillion. and holy shit the albatrio are gonna LOSE but half time is called. dear god. just in time.

jay gets gillion back up but evidently, they're not winning k? like fuck it sucked so bad that the godslayers started off kicking their ass, but downing gillion?? GILLION TIDESTRIDER??? that was an emotional blow so hard they're going to need to have a big cry after this. but you know how the albatrio are, they have the brain power, they're gonna scheme on how to take down these bitches.

and if you're wondering how the godslayers are doing at half time they're feeling pretty good about themselves. exandroth takes a nap after healing up thanatos and rumi, rumi fawns over peter like "are you okay???" "yeah rumi im okay" "rumi, stop babying peter he is fine" "i love you peter" "huh???"

second half starts up again and BOOM THE COORDINATION. the godslayers work okay together but we've plucked them out at a point in the story where not everyone is on the same foot... but the albatrio?? babygirl, they've been friends for a while!!! the point is friendship is fucking magic and with the power of their teamwork they strategise so good they take down the godslayers one at a time. i dont know exactly how but it's definitely a mix of something ridiculous and actual good observation and good planning. GOD SLAYERS KNOCKED OUT BABYYY.

in the bg i like to imagine that dm condi and grizzly were like commentating the entire time btw, and dm condi was so confident in his team. then he just starts crying at the end like "NOOOO HOW DID THEY LOSE" dm grizzly laughs "MWAHAHAH I KNEW IT I KNEW THEY'D WIN anyways that's the end of the game!! thank you for playing everyone!! bye bye!!" and every1 gets sent home.

I thought of posting this on my main but I don't really want that blog attracting pro ed content so I thought it be best here.

I don't even eat weirdly anymore. I haven't binged in months (bc I stopped the negative thoughts abt food, took a few months but its safe to say im clean) I'm healthier now, maybe even a little slimmer, because I dont have the side effects of starving anymore. I think I can say it's ended for a good 6 months now. There's just little things that remind me of it.

So, it might sound weird considering I'm recovered, but I have a thinsp0 folder. I didn't have that during the ed, I did it on pinterest but now I save pictures into a hidden file to use as thinsp0. I barely look at them, only when I add a new photo, but still, it proves it's still there.

If that doesn't strike you as strange, then what if I say I also saved pictures of my friends there. I use ppl I know as thinspo. I wonder about my friends eating habits and sometimes edge the conversation on to get them to share me details in a way that sounds natural. Well, its not malicious, but it's fueled by something they don't understand, and would likely feel upset if they were to know.

I should feel ashamed, but really, they should be flattered I aspire to look like them.

I love the eating disorder headcanon, I use it a lot. I never would have if I didn't have an ed before. I understand the desire to not eat, which I didn't understand before my ed. I didn't have any thoughts on food really, so I'm actually thankful I had that experience.

I'd like to add to that, my ed was mild in comparison to others, to other people I know. I don't use the term all the time, but for the sake of words I call what I had an eating disorder though internally I understand it was disordered eating, and a negative mindset. Bad but nothing compared to what some people have gone through.

Also, I try to keep healthy nowadays. I should exercise more, I want to do it not to hurt myself but cause it feels good and also makes me look slimmer. For example if you want your arms to look thinner lift weights cause they will look so much better afterwards. I want to lift again.

Now, a rant abt the thin aesthetic I like

Some people are so slim and oh it looks so good on them. I want that too. I also want to be taller, what's the deal with me being 5'4? That's boring. I should be 5'9. (This may be bc my best friend is rlly short and we both like the tall short dynamic) Tall and thin. Just like.. other ppl I know. Yeah, and small boobs. It would be GREAT if they couldn't be noticed with a t shirt on. I desperately want to have such small breasts that I don't have to wear a bra with cups. Also, androgyny. I think some people relate to that. Hell, I'm cis but I enjoy the aura of androgyny some people possess. I desire it greatly. Not to say I'm dissatisfied with my appearance, I'm recovered and fine with how my body fits, but oh, it could be just a bit slimmer. Like her. Like him. Hey friend, what kind of things do you eat? HI APOLOGIES THAT THIS TOOK SO LONG. im gonna be honest im not very good at convincing people to check stuff out But. whatever. also i know you said youre ok with spoilers but im probably not gonna say too much because, as with any honkai storyline in my experience, the Mystery is a large part of the charm.

what you gotta know going into part 2 is that it isnt original honkai, but its also not Not original honkai. sure, the cast is new [for the most part, at least, several part 1 characters make their way through the narrative from time to time], but at the end of the day it follows the same... vibe? format? i dont know how to name it. as in, for me personally i played it and was like Yeah, this is still honkai. so if youre worried its gonna be completely different from part 1 and 1.5, then dont, because its Not. the weird intrigue and overly complicated yet still fun lore and sudden comedic [and Genuinely Funny, i should say] moments thrown in the middle of serious action are all still here.

second of all. THE CAST IS VERY FUN!!! genuinely i love love love allllll of them [although, songque has definitely taken my heart I FUCKING LOVE SONGQUE!!!!!]. actually all of the seven shus are very good characters!! its very clear that this is mainly Their story, that this is their doing and their world, and none of them are dispensable, so to say. BUT THE ENTIRE CAST IS JUST AMAZING I PROMMY. theyre genuinely fun to experience!!! i love them so much!!! arrghgh. i also deeply love how the main group meets some random girl and decides Not only are we gonna undoom your entire world but were gonna undoom YOU too. none of that self sacrifice shit if they can help it [spoiler: they couldnt help it but sa knows they tried.]

i (now) use arch btw

after a few months of not posting anything here, i finally managed to get arch working with awesomewm :)

initially when i tried a few months back, it was going fine until i could no longer hear audio for some reason lol. after searching for a solution i eventually gave up and retreated back to mint for the time being. after getting my infamous itch to just nuke everything and start again, i reinstalled arch and tried once again and i gotta say, its been going REALLY well.

the first time i ever attempted an install of arch (before archinstall was a thing) i somehow forgot to install a network manager and therefore couldnt really do much else. i really enjoyed setting it all up manually, but the fact that in the end i didnt really have it working was very annoying. the next time around, archinstall was there to back me up and its made everything so much easier!!! for me its broken down the barrier of entry significantly. i simply chose the desktop setup i wanted, and it chose the relevant packages. i went with a window manager rather than a full desktop environment this time around, more specifically awesomeWM. i wanted to go with something more bare-bones and configure it from the ground up so i could learn what sort of packages go into a full de. in addition people often talk about how much more efficient they find using wms, both productivity and resource wise. i see why! my entire operating system on boot uses like <500mb of ram, which is baffling that its possible. plus, the use of shortcuts of navigating around has been great.

i ended up going with awesome as nvidia has been absolutely the biggest issue with this whole process. for some reason my graphics card just HATES wayland which eliminates some options off the bat. ive had soo many issues in the past with it, so trying to use xorg is probably my best bet going forward and luckily its still a very popular choice, no shortage of resources for me. i did have a few issues setting it up on arch, as i wasnt really familiar with how to configure it at first but getting nvidia-settings it made it much easier for me for now.

pacman was an interesting change to get used to. discovering that it didnt have some packages that i have usually was interesting, but then shortly i discovered the aur and yay. it opened me up to a wide range of new packages that werent even on some of the package managers i had tried previously, like dnf and apt. in contrast to those, i found pacman and now yay much easier and incredibly fast to use. there just becomes more and more reasons to use arch every time i open it haha.

one of the things i havent got around to choosing is a file manager. having to navigate my files entirely by terminal has helped build the muscle memory of commands i didnt know before. plus may even be faster than i found previously? i may get around to setting up some aliases if i feel like i could shorten some tasks. using cli packages in terminal over graphical packages has helped me to learn git some more as well, which im sure will be useful for me in the years to come. in regards to the terminal too, im looking into switching to zsh instead of bash which i currently dont know what the difference is between shells or what they do exactly but ill find out.

i have only been using arch consistently for a few days at this point. and awesome is still pretty ugly, so the next task for me is to spice it up a bit with some theming. i dont have much, if any, experience with lua, which apparently is the language that awesome uses to write its dotfiles (also took me a minute to learn what dotfiles actually were). the last time i used lua was probably in roblox studio at like the age of 10 or something, so its been a while. i have a few articles and videos lined up that i need to watch for an introduction, so i already have an idea of where to start. with that said however, if anyone has any advice or tips send them my way!

now the obvious question for myself after this is what project am i actually going to do next? i want to actually develop software but i find it extremely intimidating. so there are a couple options for me going forward. one of the big ideas in my mind is developing a longer form game project in godot. i have developed smaller projects in the past to get used to the engine, but i want to try my hand at doing something over the course of multiple weeks. i have poor time management skills and tend to get sidetracked with other projects but i really want something i can chip away at every day for a few hours. and i think a game could be just that! plus, it gives me a creative outlet as well. i can make the music and art for that and combine a few hobbies into one.

arch & awesome has been definitely an interesting change to get used to, but it has been so fun! learning how to do everything myself has been what i have been craving and every day i regret abandoning windows less and less. i cannot sing the praises of linux and its community enough for scratching my brain in the right places! at some point i want to make a post detailing my full journey with linux, so keep an eye or two out for that.

9) United Kingdom - purely and simply a bop, it almost makes me forget how much of a tamarrata* it is asdfghjk As for its chances in Liverpool, if the pre-parties are of any indication, there's no way in hell this will get a top10 like many seem to predict, more like it will be lucky to get out of the bottom 5 :'' (*tamarrata = something camp and cringy and excessive, that sometimes you like exactly because of that lol)

8) Czechia - I usually adore songs with a women-supporting-women narrative, this one is no exception, and it also has a double reading which makes it even cooler I was a bit afraid that if they kept the aesthetic of the video on stage it could end up looking messy and uncoordinated, but luckily they decided to make it tidier and in fact their performance on Tuesday was amazing

7) Austria - This, this is how you do clever and funny This could have ended up being an apocalyptic level of trash but, ironically, the nonsense narrative keeps its feet on the ground Thankfully it seems like it's not a Halo 2.0, though the performance could have used being a lil bit more whimsical and energetic

6) France - I love how this starts tango-ish and then catches rhythm! I have no idea how it will go, France was my winner last year and I never would have imagined an almost last place for them, so yeah :'' I don't think they can snatch the win but I'd be on board with them trying purely because that would mean a new Sweden vs France death match which, like, AAAAAAAAAAAAA

5) Norway - this is the first song from this year I listened to and I'm still bobbing my head from that first time ahah This sounds like a song KEiiNO could have sung, which in my book is always a compliment We'll give her a wagon of points as soon as the commentators let it slip that she's Italian lol

4) Finland - This is me having a drunken dream while also never having been drunk in my whole life :'' Look, I love this song, or it wouldn't be in my top 5, it's a banger, it's fun and it's been stuck in my head since the first time I heard it in the studio version (the live rendition sucks, I know you all know but choose not to acknowledge it c:), I actually like the way it has two very different styles and the moment it leaves the rappish part to basically become the Carameldansen makes me fall from the chair every time It does deserve to do well. Alex..may I ask for some advice?

I’ve been dating someone for about 6 months now, at the beginning of the relationship it was great..we spoke quite often, went out a fair bit, good morning texts etc the whole scheme that you expect during the honeymoon phase.

Now it’s like..im talking to a brick wall. they will say that they love me but some days we wont speak at all (which i understand is normal btw just one change i noticed), they’ll only text me late at night, say things like its no big deal that i havent seen them for over a month. I said i was upset at the idea of not seeing them for a month but i understood that they had other things to do. At one point I was stressed and busy and I did push them away a bit because I wasnt sleeping for days on end I didnt have anything to talk about. i’ve asked repeatedly if I’ve done something wrong to warrant this “cold” front but they keep saying we’re cool and that nothing’s wrong and that they love me.

idk whether i’m just making a big deal of things. but i don’t understand this change. its weird because i’ve never felt this way before, it’s a pain that hurts my heart. I’ve cried so much trying to understand and saying that its ok to give it time and maybe they’ll go back to normal. i really dont know tbh, my heart aches because it doesn’t seem like they care anymore. I dont want to leave them because truthfully they’re my first love and it took so long to find someone that I fear i might not find someone else. i dont think i want to find someone else either.

Unfortunately, we do have to run under the assumption that they are telling the truth about what they say. If you've encouraged them to open up about what is bothering them or going on, and they say nothing, we have to assume that is correct, as we can't force people to open up past what they're comfortable doing, especially if they are telling the truth. So, because of that, I would wonder if this is just what love looks like for them. If everything is okay and they think you two are are fine, it could be that they don't realize they need to keep putting in that effort. A LOT of people will put in more than they usually would for the first little bit of a relationship. Not in a manipulative way, but just because it is what is expected! But once they are truly in love with you, and feel secure in the connection, they pull away because they recognize that they can be their true self now. They have faith that you aren't going to leave, so they can relax. We all have different romantic needs, and different attachment styles, so it could be very likely that this is just their way of feeling loved. They may just genuinely not require the same things you do.

However, that doesn't mean you have to suffer and feel unloved. I know you said you don't want to break up, which is very valid, but please know you CAN find someone else with similar needs to you. If you would rather stay with this person though (which is very understandable! I would too!!) you need to have a talk. Let them know how serious this is for you. How the way they pulled away makes you feel. Let them know exactly what you told me. And ask them how they feel about what you said. It isn't an easy talk to have, but it will hopefully help some!

During our rough patch (which tbh we are still going through) I at one point had told Jayson "I am going to have to leave if this behaviour doesn't change." I told him straight up that whatever it was he was doing made me feeling unloved & like he didn't appreciate me anymore, and I could not stay in a relationship where I was feeling that way all the time. I didn't say he had to fix the behaviour immediately, but explained that I did need to see some improvement, or at least have him acknowledge me in those moments. It's scary, but sometimes we have to phrase it like that, so they understand how serious we are.

Gun was more than happy to return home to you with the good news that he had no work for tomorrow. And once he told you, he was pleased to see your shared excitement.

"We should plan a date for tomorrow," he suggested, "What would you like to do?"

He listened intently as you described the activities you had in mind. Whether they were staying at home all day or venturing off into the city, he didn't care as long as it was quality time spent with you. He couldn't wait to devote himself fully to you tomorrow, but for now he had other ideas.

Before he could say anything, you lead him right to it by asking, "What about you? Anything you want to do tomorrow?"

"No, your plans sound just fine. But, I was thinking that for tonight we do what I had planned ever since I got the news that I'm having tomorrow off."

"And that would be...?"

Gun held up a keyring with his car keys, dangling them. "A late night drive around sound good to you?"

"Why not?" His smile reflected yours as he began to lead you out of the house.

Dirving around Seoul and seeing all the night lights was beautiful. The hushed bustling compared to the loudness during the day was also refreshing. Not to mention, the general dark blanket that came with nighttime--it was all relaxing to Gun, and even more so with you by his side.

Not much talking happened throughout the ride, but it wasn't awkward at all. Just a peaceful silence as you both enjoyed the cool air that breezed through the open windows of the car. Of course, the occasional conversations did take place but they were more like lighthearted smalltalk if anything.

While driving, Gun didn't have a fixed destination in mind, but when his random turns lead you both to a quieter part of Seoul, he slowed down and looked for a place to park. It ended up being the parking lot of some abandoned store, or at least it looked like it.

"Late night drive over?" You turned to him as he finished up parking.

He nodded. "Let's stargaze."

"On what grass? I'm not laying on the asphalt floor," you semi-joked, looking around at the street.

Gun just rolled his eyes in amusement. "Who said we're even leaving the car?" He got up with a bent back as to not bump his head on the car's roof before stepping over the car's controls. He then sat down on the second row seats and reached an arm up, grabbing a handle on the roof and pulling it back to reveal a glass roof.

Your jaw dropped momentarily.

"Come on." He waved you over and watched as you moved from your seat to join him in the second row. Once you did, he adjusted the seats so they laid parallel to the floor and you both flopped down at the same time. The two of you glanced at each other for a moment before softly laughing together.

After that came more peaceful silence as you both stared up at the stars. At some point, Gun moved his attention from the sky to you, and he was reminded of another reason why he preferred nighttime over daytime--it was the way moonlight shined on you, the way it added a special charm that highlighted your features.

"I want to show them my appreciation," he thought, hands suddenly aching to touch you. If he wasn't showing you love through gifts, it was definitely through his touch. He figured he might as well express the latter since there were no gifts around to give. Plus he was going to be free tomorrow anyway, why not stay up a little later with his lover?

Gun turned to lay on his side and put an arm over your abdomen, hand resting on your hip. "Hey."

"Mm?" You didn't turn to look at him, too busy admiring the stars. Not for long though, because the words he whispered in your ear made you jerk your head his direction and made your cheeks hotter than the sun. "Gun, we're in public," you practically hissed.

"This is a pretty secluded area. And I don't see anyone around. Do you?" He smirked when you couldn't reply. It only widened when you didn't stop him from sliding his hand up your shirt. "I need your vocal consent before I continue, dear."

Your breath hitched, and slowly you murmured, "By all means, Gun."

ok so like, the mercs are isekai’d into the lands between. i am cringe but i am free fuck you. however everything goes wrong because it is a fromsoft game and no one ever has a happy ending in a fromsoft game (cept for patches, probably). ANYWAy the mercs leave that mausoleum and see Varre, and get that standard ‘you are maidenless you will die’ speech, and it takes heavy or engie telling scout to leave the alone hes just fucking with you to make scout stop yelling at him, but varre singles out spy. Varre tells spy that he looks different. he looks like the only one capable out of all of them. maybe not to become elden lord, but to survive the lands for more than a day. he seems like he has skills far beyond what the rest of the team has. while spy knows hes being buttered up, he also falls for it. varre seems just as capable and secretive as him. so the team ventures for a bit, they stick together cause judging by the sheer fucking SIZE of the erdtree, this continent is huge. eventually they encounter melina, who does her offer an accord speech, and scout immediately tries to hit on her, however he is told off yet again. melina is clearly miffed but brushes it off. she hands each of them a spectral whistle to call their own horse, whatever ‘tf2 mercs as horses’ post is what horse they get cause idk much about horses. either way they get horses to ride and they notice that guns dont exist in the lands between, if only they had their weapons. Demo finds a claymore and immediately uses that, and he teaches the rest of the team how to wear and maneuver in armor and how to use swords. Heavy says he’ll use his fists and they find fists weapons for him. Engie can’t get swordplay very well though, but they do find Sellen, and she elects to teach Engineer sorceries since he’s the sanest and the only one with common sense. Engie thinks sorcery is very strange, and he’d never see it, but while with mann co he’s seen stranger things. The mercs adventure a little more and meet more people and im thinking by now their clothes are rightfully ruined, so they get some armor. I’m thinking also of maybe Agheel or Smarag being the dragon that the team kills that soldier uses the heart of, and that sets him on the path of doing dragon communion. Eventually Melina grants them access to roundtable hold, and of course everyone dislikes them or is at least amicable. when they’re back out on the field they go to stormveil, and find roderika, to which scout hits on, until he realizes she’s way too depressed to reciprocate anything. they fight margit and its all neat and he probably gets his shit kicked in tbh. Pyro finds out about flame incantations somewhere and they have fun with those. Sniper finds a bow and arrow for himself. Engie is slowly going insane cause he can’t build anything or tinker with any mechanics cause the lands between tech level is at medieval levels. He does get a look at the big golems though, briefly, before they wake up and try to kill him. Speaking of dying, the mercs aren’t really sure if when they die, they die. And they don’t exactly want to test it out. They venture around stormveil, spy tries to do so stealthily until the rest of the team blows his cover, to which then they have to go in the hard way. When they finally get a bit of respite cause it’s a castle filled with knights and baddies they eventually find a way slowly under the castle, and there they find the Godwyn corpse. Medic, a lover of toying with things he shouldn’t and corpses, tries to experiment with it, and when he does so, he gets a bunch of deathblight vines going through him just like the animation. The team grabs him and runs, Medic assuring he’s fine, just a little tired. There aren’t any open wounds on him from where the deathblight hit. They rest at a grace and heavy asks Melina what deathblight is, to which she has no idea. Btw I wanna give her some character in this because in the game she’s a whole lot of nothing. Anyway she’s miffed at her not knowing anything but she sucks it up. The mercs continue through stormveil and meet Godrick, my sweet wet plastic bag of a man. Godrick goes ‘lowly tarnished, playing as a lord.’ until one of them brings up they dont really care about being elden lord, which surprises the shit out of godrick, who then just kinda goes. huh. and then he waits for the mercs to approach to which engie does cause he’s a nice guy and godrick rips his fucking arm off. however, its engie’s gunslinger, not his real arm, so grafting it does nothing for godrick. +1 hand for the collection. Obviously the mercs beat his ass and claim the great rune but this fight is MUCH harder for them than Margit. Soldier is devastated he couldn’t protect engie, no less some of his team during the fight. While the mercs are stomping on Godrick’s corpse with Gostoc Spy steps away and Varre is in the shadows with him, Varre says that he saw what happened, with spy nearly dying because his teammates were incompotent. Spy, again, knows he’s being buttered up, but he has to agree. Varre tells him that his skills would be much better elsewhere, and he knows where one of the great runes is because the great runes are how they’re gonna get home (they need all 7 of them and because godrick is now dead they have 1 of them). Spy is unconvinced to leave, and Varre notices how he keeps looking at Scout, and the rest of the team, and at the tops of the walls for the battle arena. Varre figures out that Spy, more than anything else, wants to protect his teammates, they’re family to him, and they’re family to each other. After this they explore Liurnia a bit, and they meet boggart cause boggart’s fuckin cool. they also meet rya cause she’s babey. While out exploring, Medic is struggling to ride his horse around, and it holds up the rest of the group, then when medic tries hopping down or walking somewhere he finds his feet have gone numb and they’re growing deathblight vines. he keeps it secret but there’s flies gathering around him and he smells like a corpse. They learn about Raya Lucaria and Engie, who has been the team’s spellcaster, decides they wanna go there, and they find Smarag and kill him and get the key. And Soldier, who has Agheel’s heart and his fire breathe, realizes the pattern- kill a dragon, get its heart, get stronger, protect the team. He does so, but he looks down into the swamp water while cleaning his face and sees he’s got dragon eyes now. he wears his helmet to keep it secret but also knows itll come out eventually. Demo gets some incantations, and he notices Spy looks like he’s got something on his mind, but he doesn’t pry. Medic’s walking slowly gets worse and he stays on his horse more often, but he can’t really hide it when he gets to the roundtable and HAS to walk, and he has a chat with D, who tells him straight on in his deadpan yet passionate voice that Deathblight is something those who live in death do and that when you mess with those who live in death youll eventually get deathblighted and there is no cure. he’s going to die. Medic laughs it off cause pssh he’s cheated death every day. He hears Sorcerer Rogier off in another part of the roundtable and actually does get along with him, unlike D. They share information they know and stories and eventually Rogier does say that yeah, deathblight has no cure, and he messed with the corpse too. He gets pointed in the direction of Ranni but she cant cure deathblight but she might know something. Sniper overhears some of this and is just ‘dude, what did you fucking do.’ and medic is like ‘hoh dont worry id didnt do anything im fine :3′ they get more incantations, and spells, and better weapons and armor and all, and even scout and sniper and spy have to change up their look cause their mercenary clothes are disgusting by now. They also learn what a tarnished is, and that marika likes to abduct people who died from where they died cause #justmarikathings cause she needs tarnished to become elden lord. engie talks with sellen a bit and learns about primeval sorcery, and how it’s better and more potent and ever the person who would gladly give up his body for research and advancement he goes along with what sellen needs, after all he’s lost his arm already. they explore caelid and learn fun things to do in caelid 1. leave. and discover scarlet rot and how fucking awful it is- no one wanted to go into the swamp until sniper tested it out with a squirrelrabbitthing he hunted and he dipped it in and saw it grew mushrooms and shit. they meet gowry and millicent and for once scout doesnt hit on someone!! because she is dying!! they get her the golden needle and she lives for now, engie is a bit happy to see someone with only one arm doing well in a place like this. Anyway by now they realize medic cant walk, and the deathblight vines and corpse smell are too big a problem to ignore, and everyone is like ‘dude why didnt you tell us’ and medic finally comes forward like ‘i didnt want to make you all worry, besides, its not that big a deal, i can just use my horse.’ and sniper just goes ‘no youre not’ and somehow the team convinces medic and sniper to share a horse so medic is guarded so he can hand out heals (prefumer potions and items they found) and cast spells and sniper can guard him and shoot with arrows. medic is unhappy cause he thinks he doesnt need to be babysat or anything and he hates that sniper orders him around (medic is at the reigns of the horse). they hear about the radahn festival and go ‘oh shit hey hes one of the great rune guys’ and they go join in and i like to imagine before the festival theres a feast and partying before fighting radahn so they’re partying for the first time in a while and oh hey another spy and varre conversation. also they meet blaidd and alexander here so they learn there are non humans that can talk and heavy is kinda shocked to see someone taller than him, not just that but much taller than him (blaidd). then they go fight radahn radahn is fucking. so cool. like holy fuck. hes just. wow. hes fucking. jesus christ, holy fuck. he is a fucking masterpiece of a boss. he’s insane. anyway yeah the mercs fight him and god just imagining the fucking, meteor. They’re fighting radahn and they see him jump up into the sky and shove his horse underground and they look up to see where they went but they have no idea where he is, and then the sky clears, its no longer red, and they can see the stars for the first time, and one merc asks another ‘what do you see?’ and then they all look up and fucking see radahn at mach 5 hurtling towards them as a fucking flame cloaked meteor, and they barely make it out of the fight with their lives, they were inches from death. when radahn dies and the comet falls into limgrave they all stop for a breather, as does the rest of the radahn fesetival goers. Blaidd mentions Ranni, and scout is grossed the fuck out by alexander the jar warrior putting corpses into his jar body. Sniper stares at the sky for a bit, because holy fuck. Spy uses one of his now rationed cigarettes. Pyro is happy to see the stars. while they’re chilling in the castle engie learns about Jerren and Sellen’s connections and the team finally learns about what eating dragon hearts does to an mf (Soldier). He swears that he is fine, and he will do whatever he can to get the team back to base and to home. the team explores around some more and gets some new weapons or whatever else, maybe meet Ranni, though they dont join her faction. no one likes Seluvis cause he’s an asshole. Eventually though, medic looks worse and worse, deathblight does that, they take him to Melina to see if she knows anything but she doesn’t and her healing spell doesn’t work. so medic dies, and that causes a big shift within the team. one of em’s dead and not coming back. Spy finally agrees to join with Varre, and Engie decides he’s gonna go to Raya Lucaria and see what Sellen can do when she’s got an entire academy at her disposal- and from the sound of it it looks like they got the strength of a nation. Soldier tries convincing everyone to stay but they refuse, they’ll grab the others before heading home anyway. Spy doesn’t say anything as he leaves, but Demo calls him out for leaving without a word, they’ve gotta stick together after all. Pyro discovers frenzied flame spells, they quite enjoy it. Now Soldier, Scout, Pyro, Heavy, Sniper, and Demo are together. Engie discovers a new prosthesis for himself through helping Millicent, and Spy becomes a war surgeon of Mohg. after splitting Soldier cant help but feel a bit defeated and feel like the split is his fault, but he cheers himself up and pushes the group through into Altus Plateau, where Soldier seems he can’t help himself with dragon hearts and getting more dragon communion spells. He just gets stronger.  Soldier starts misdirecting the group, cause he needs those dragon hearts to get stronger, since the radahn fight was kinda difficult and people nearly died. He focuses on himself more than he does the team, who are doing good, but soldier HAS to get stronger. He’s gotta. He can get them out of here. He’s the leader. they get some dragon hearts and Soldier gets more incantations but everyone calls him out for being a bit obsessed, and Soldier growls and finally agrees to not eat this one heart. His skin’s growing scales, his voice is deeper, he overall dont look too good. He decides to go meet with Engie in Raya Lucaria since it’s been a while and it’s not that big, so he should be done exploring and come back to the team right?? nope sorry Engie met the same fate as Sellen- shoved into a graven sphere. Soldier talks with Rennala and gets her great rune, but he’s lied to about who put him and Sellen in the sphere. Soldier decides he can’t leave Engie like this, so he puts him and everyone in that sphere out of their misery. The team leaves Raya Lucaria dejected, 2 teammates are dead and 1 is missing. They decide to go to mount gelmir, knowing a great rune is there. They dont trust tanith for even a damn second and someone calls out diallos for being a stupid bitch. They also get to see Zorayas :D They go through the volcano manor the hard way, and eventually get to the audience pathway with Rykard, and its a harder fight than radahn- i imagine the serpent hunter doesnt exist- because rykard is fucking gigantic and there’s a huge pool of lava surrounding him at all times. Soldier tries what he has but its not enough, Heavy cant get punches and Sniper’s arrows bounce off the scales and Scout can’t get close enough and Pyro’s fire does nothing to Rykard, so Soldier eats that last dragon heart and that is the straw that broke the camel’s back. he’s a huge magma wyrm now and roars and beats the shit out of Rykard but not without getting stabbed and injured as shit, but they do win! Soldier dies with a smile knowing he protected the team. Now it’s just Demo, Heavy, Scout, Sniper, and Pyro. Who are freaking the fuck out cause holy shit Soldier died. 3 dead 1 missing. Also they go to Leyendell and kill Morgott cause they gots ta. After that Demo decides fuck this, he can’t get the fact Spy just up and left them out of his mind, that bitch always does shit on their own thinking itll work. so he separates to go find Spy, and the rest of the team takes on the forbidden lands and mountaintops of the giants and fights the fire giant. Melina, whom i imagine would have more character moments given this is MY story and I write the women cause miyazaki is bad at it, game ends herself to burn the erdtree but the guys try to convince her not too. also Pyro learns about the three fingers and goes to give them a hug before the erdtree burns. so the squad is yeeted to farum azula and all that good shit and fuck that area it sucks its so cool but i hate it and everything there is hard as shit to kill anyway the gang makes it through there and fights the foreskin duo and eventually they get to maliketh’s door and go right on through there, making sure to take proper precautions cause the rest of the area is fucked. Then they fight maliketh, but AUGH ill confess idk what would be more cool or fitting- sniper dying here or sniper dying to malenia, cause Sniper knows what’s waiting for him after he dies, he knows he has no soul and he presumably is going to heaven where his parents are, and that if he’s gonna die it might as well be this. He’ll have died taking down the greatest beast of them all and making sure his friends are safe. but if he dies to malenia then its just ‘i made sure my teammates were safe’ and ‘i took her on because if not you wouldve died to her’ or something like that augh sniper needs more interactions and character in this au story thing. anyway they release the rune of death and the coolest cutscene in all of fromsoft games happens. while thats going on demo gets the medallion for the consecrated snowfields and gets to that one portal that goes to the mohgwyn mausoleum, and there he fights a LOT of things and eventually makes his way to the big building up top where mohg is, also he learns who mohg is. when he gets almost to the top he meets two war surgeons who are varre and Spy, but he cant tell who’s who. He fights them and it ends in Demo winning and Spy beginning to bleed out, regretting everything he’s ever done because he let himself get used by Varre and Mohg. Demo finishes off Varre and has a Conversation with Spy which is very Charactery and goes to fight Mohg, leaving Spy by a site of grace so he can decide what to do. Demo fights Mohg and all is going alright until Mohg’s second form, which nearly kills Demo and Mohg is like ‘lol fuck you’ until Spy joins the fight and stabs Mohg in his only remaining eye. Then they fight together but Mohg is a fucking hard fight and he nearly kills the two of them, and with their last bits of life they have Another Conversation and then they die looking at the underground stars. So now Pyro, Heavy, and Scout (and maybe Sniper) are left and they see Leyendell kinda became the site of a nuclear bomb. Heavy is the leader now so he decides they have to go out and find spy and demo, and the last great runes cause they need those to get home. They find Spy and Demo’s corpses and realize they’re the last 3/4 left. They then get to the haligtree and deal with the bullshit that is the haligtree and then find Malenia while somehow not getting rotted or killed. During this fight Sniper maybe dies?? idk lmao Pyro is growing a lil more infatuated with the three fingers and chaos magic and then they go back to leyendell and kill gideon and then oo, ooh ooh oooo fuck the godfrey fight, the coolest fight ever, my god this man deserves the title of OG tarnished, the elden chad. so its a fair but extremely difficult fight at first and heavy makes sure that baby man and pyro doesnt get their shit kicked in by godfrey cause godfrey could absolutely kick their shit in. Then Horoah Loux. he dives in to try and get scout and pyro in a grab but Heavy shields them and almost dies in the grab, like 1 pixel of HP left. He fights Loux in a fist fight until they both die and Heavy says Scout and Pyro should go home, they deserve it. They have people on the other side that need them. Scout and Pyro first freak the fuck out cause holy shit they have Responsibilities now, and everyone’s dead. Scout mans up and decides that since its just him and Pyro now, he’s gonna man up, be the adult. So him and Pyro go into the Erdtree after so so so long and they get to see Radagon, and by some fucking MIRACLE. they fucking survive that fight (not unscathed mind you) and get to the elden beast fight. during the fight Scout and Pyro cant help but just. look around. there are the bases of other Erdtrees around them and its beautiful, almost transcendent, and Scout and Pyro look at the beast jump into the air and gracefully fly and its so beautiful and Scout is the first one to notice that there’s a ring forming around then and he gets pyro out of the trance too and Scout notices Pyro lagging behind him as they try to run so Scout throws and pushes Pyro out of the ring just before Scout is fucking eviscerated by the elden blast and then pyro and the elden beast fight and its fuckin cool and i think pyro would know anything flame related but use mostly chaos. Then when the fight’s over, all great runes gathered, all bosses done, all mercs dead, and its just pyro. pyro has the chaos ending and the world is burned anew and the mercs all wake up in respawn. in the lands between its been god knows how long but in tf2 land its been like, 5 minutes.

basically yes i wanna write this or make a comic but 1. this would take a long, long L O N G amount of time and idk how many people would be interested in it. Also some story bits like id love if more elden ring chars got to interact and befriend tf2 chars. but also yeah this is my au i think its cool i want to draw more bits of it thank you and good night. to anyone saying this is cringe i am cringe and proud, its just if i didnt get this out of my system i would shrivel into a corn cob and die.

OH YEAH i forgot to send my season 10 thoughts. so like, not too much to say here honestly, because the season is like 4 episodes long. this season is definitely by far and away my most favorite season since the soft reboot. im so very delighted they brought back seasons one and two classics such as "living with evil lord garmadon who tried to kill us all last week and its really awkward and also he is the pettiest person alive" and "lets go crawling to garmadon to fix the problems which were too much for us to handle".

also garmadon has a conversation about the meaning of life with some complete rando and it is definitely the highlight of the entire season. the entire past three seasons combined, even. frankly all the suffering i went through back when i first started s8 was worth it for these like 45 seconds alone. i laughed so hard and am now obsessed with this concept.

im just going to copy paste my live discord reactions because i dont have that much to say. well i do have a bit to say but its more on irrelevant, tangentially related things as opposed to the season itself since it was relatively straightforward

also btw the writers really need to find a better way to make cole relevant than "killing" him. frankly. he deserves so much better than what these writers are giving him

this season. this season btw the writers did something that made me REALLY proud of them. i was so pleasantly shocked i was baffled i was FLOORED. okay so at the beginning of the season jay briefly brings up the tornado of creation that they used back in like seasons 1/2 a handful of times and then proceeded to never use again and frankly its been bugging me for the past few weeks that they just. never.... did anything with it, at all. and i was even MORE annoyed that they brought it up bc i knew that we werent going to use it because these writers hate spinjitsu now apparently.... but. i was wrong. they used it at the end to beat the snot out of all the oni and i was. i was losing my mind i was so shocked i was so surprised i was so proud. live reaction here

also, on other ninjago things i have been pondering for the past few days: how much, exactly, oni blood does garmadon have?

like ok because the fsm was half oni half dragon (despite having a human(? they never show his face but garmadon and wu look human so ……. ????? presumably) appearance) and then in the episode that they reveal the whole oni dragon thing in, its super implied that garmadon got the oni blood and wu got the dragon blood but 1) they both look human and 2) why doesnt garmadon have the horns/teeth. also when garmadon and lloyd go into the weird cloud stuff garmadon is 1000% sure he'll be fine because he's oni, but he says he doesnt know about lloyd bc lloyd is only part oni, but technically isnt garmadon only part oni as well ??? they also, notably, say that lloyd has both dragon and oni in him so that would mean that garmadon ALSO has dragon in him so clearly he isnt pure oni but also when everybodys beating the snot out of the oni army the leader dude seems to think that garmadon is pure (?) oni so. WHAT. also also did the fsm just like create garmadon and wu out of nothing (and, if so, bro why did you dump the evil blood into one of them you simply couldve Not Done That) or did they have a mom. i want to KNOW

also question number 2: …………………………. why does garmadon have four arms when he gets resurrected. one of the oni masks gives the user four arms but none of the other oni have four arms, and also in season 1 garmadon says he has four arms because he needs to be able to wield the four golden weapons. i think. maybe. it was something along those lines. either way when he was in the underworld he only had two and after he got out he manifested them out of nowhere so why the heck does he have four arms again

also. btw since this entire ask is basically just about garmadon i think its time to pull out this message i sent to goose right when i started ninjago again and like... yeah i know myself too well
