There are no words to express how much I love your Mario Animal AU 😭 Mario and Luigi wouldn't even let not being from the same species trouble them. They're brothers, and anyone who questions it will feel one of the brothers' fangs on their butt.

Thank you so much! Yeah, Luigi actually didn't even know he wasn't a raccoon until the differences between him and the rest of his family became a little too difficult to ignore. But it didn't matter much in the end. His family is still his family, and his brother is definitely his brother. There's a special bond between those two that transcends species.

I just noticed you had a Hunger Games AU, and Mario loses Luigi in one of the versions of this AU...

First of all, I'm very curious about all of it and would like to know more 👀 I only know the vague outline and roles of HG, who would you put as various protagonists/antagonists?

Tbh that was a spur of the moment idea. I haven't really put any further thought into other roles etc, just laid out the basic outline of both scenarios and allowed others to add on their own ideas if they wish.

I do however see Peach from District 1 or 2 (the richer Districts). I know originally I put her as being from the Capital, but I honestly just want her in the Games with the bros.

Bowser/Mario : I definitely see the appeal. So much snark I can only love between them "You insufferable little pest!" "You want to fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid" ! However, as much as I love the "enemies with benefits" or the "enemies to lovers" trope, I'm not really into the ship. However I don't mind it and I do enjoy seeing fanarts of them every once and then ^^

Bowser/Peach : heh, not my cup of tea. I can see why people ship them but this ship is not for me. I prefer to see Bowser with Luigi (and you know why) and Peach with Mario (they're so soft, so perfect together, they make my heart melt!).

Mario/DK : I don't mind the ship and, after seeing the movie, I definitely see the appeal. They're a pair fun to ship together, but this is not a ship I'll actively seek fics or fanarts for ^^;

Panoramix/Caesar : ... you're sick. Why, why, why would you ask me this ship if not to tease me?? No more sharing my Astérix fics with you! holy fuck...

I'm only one book into the Temeraire series and I'm already impressed by how well the Aerial Corps are taking to Laurence.

If my livelihood revolved around how well I'm taking care of my super powered cat/best friend to the point I was sneered at and derided by society for being a crazy cat lady, and then this guy who's never owned a cat and didn't even liked them, if that guy waltzed in and innocently pointed out I had been inadvertently mistreating my cat (the harness and bath thing) my whole career, especially after hanging out with the local cat-hater asshole, no offense but I would have tried drowning Lawrence at least twice before warming up to him.

What I'm saying is, all HMD is missing is a couple of hazing scenes.

Hi guys~! ⛅👋

Long time no see! Much longer than I ever intended, in fact. Truth be told, I wanted to make a public post sooner, but I've had a lot to catch up on in terms of notifications and messages since logging back in a few days ago. I've also made some changes that I will address shortly, but first of all I wanted to thank those of you who have reached out with so much care and understanding during my absence. Adjusting has been a slow and fragile process for me -still is-, and I sadly haven't responded directly to everyone yet because of it, but I wanted to say how much I appreciate your patience and support nonetheless. 🥹 🙏

Long story short, I was gone for five months due to a huge burnout, then progressively found my spark again somewhere along the way and have since mostly recovered. It was my wonderful friend @drones-of-innocence who reached out to me outside of Tumblr, and her sense of initiative is largely the reason why I managed to make this post in a somewhat reasonable delay. 😅💖 With that said however, I must also mention that I've deleted a lot of stuff from my page and have removed most of my work from the public eye as well. This may seem quite drastic and frankly a little unsettling, but I assure you that it was a thoroughly considered and reasoned decision! The thing is that I was still getting lots of notes on these drawings everyday and… To put it simply, I didn't want that anymore. 🙇‍♀️ Experiencing popularity was very detrimental to me in the long run and I needed to put an end to it for the sake of my own wellbeing; at least for now.

Which brings me to my next point.

After mulling it over for a while, I've decided that I would not be returning as an active creator in the Mario community this time around. 👐 Making fanart for this franchise (with such a high and continuously maintained degree of involvement) had a lot to do with my health's decline and I've come to realize that I wanted to direct my focus elsewhere going forward. For that reason, there are things which I know will never be repeated again in the future, both in regards to my art and online presence in general, but that's alright. Things change, as they do and should. I'm looking forward to reuniting with folks and would be very happy to stay in touch with those of you who wish to message me privately. Like my lovely pal @istadris said, what matters most about any fandom are the friends you make in it. ☺️

And speaking of which-

@ody-and-fanatu That's so sweet of you, thank you! 💗 I'm glad you've enjoyed my contribution to the fandom. It was fun while it lasted! 💫 My visual ideas may be gone from my page, but most of my written posts and replies are still there for anyone who wants to revisit those at least, so there's that! And I'd also like to answer some of the asks I still have in my inbox at some point. Knowing that you hold my art in such high regard makes really happy! 🥰 Unfortunately, the other account that I have is reserved for my professional work and I prefer to keep them separate from one other, but the good thing is that I intend to go back to this blog occasionally. @heiressofdoodles Thanks, I appreciate that! ✨ I'm honestly doing much better than I was earlier this Spring. Back then, I was running on empty and on the verge of crashing without even knowing it. Being in constant physical pain was one thing, but feeling mentally and emotionally drained on a daily basis was another entirely, and something had to be done. It took me a moment to really figure out what was wrong, but thankfully I realized very quickly what was causing it and applied the breaks with all my might. One of my main priorities now is to be more alert and respect my own boundaries to make sure that this never happens again. 🥲

@keakruiser Thank you. 🙏💐 I'm just glad to have found my footing again. Feels good to be able to create freely.^^ Hope you're doing well too!

Scar & Mufasa, Reverse AU (with good!Scar and evil!Mufasa >8P)

Tapi dans les ombres protectrices d’un creux taillé dans le Rocher des Lions, Scar contemplait la présentation de son neveu Simba au royaume avec la désagréable angoisse de jouer un jeu dangereux : en effet, il n’était pas présent à la droite de l’heureux père en ce moment et il savait pertinemment que son aîné lui ferait payer cet affront au centuple une fois la cérémonie achevée, car nul doute que son absence serait remarquée de tous.

De nombreuses fois, il s’était demandé pourquoi son frère continuait de lui laisser la vie sauve malgré leur relation houleuse ; Mufasa n’était réputé ni pour sa clémence ni pour sa générosité et Scar était douloureusement conscient d’avoir abusé plus d’une fois de la patience du tyran… nombreux étaient les malchanceux qui avaient perdu la vie sous les griffes du souverain simplement pour avoir osé se trouver sur son chemin ou respiré dans sa direction.

La naissance de Simba mettait fin à l’immunité de Scar, cependant, et ce dernier n’était pas dupe : la lignée de son frère ainsi sauvegardée, Mufasa n’aurait plus aucun scrupule à éliminer son frère et rival devenu gênant…
