According recent government announcements, gyms and leisure centres, could be closed until October 2020. Not everyone has access to gym or exercise equipment at home and those that do, don't always know how to use it effectively and safely. Those that do, don't always have the drive and motivation to do anything, without the instruction and guidance of a fitness professional. Schools are also not fully up and running, so many children won't have a chance to take part in P.E for a long time. Read 📝below 👇‼️ Some people are of the view that isometric training doesn’t help to build muscle mass because we don’t have the same soreness of the muscles the next day. Let’s first understand what’s isometric training There are 2 types of isometric training- Yielding isometrics which is also known as fighting gravity. As you can see in the above 👆picture i am trying to fight gravity by holding the 15 kg tyre for a period of 30-40 seconds Another type of isometrics if known as Overcoming isometrics - moving the immovable. In this type of training we load more weight then we can move and try to move the immovable weight from bottom to up. See 👀 also above 👆picture Isometric training recruits more muscle fibres and it gives us the vascularity of the veins and thus creates new muscle mass. Are you doing isometric training at home 🏠 ?
