Plus, a few words from the artist about her Untitled # 96 and the series of photos Centerfolds: «In content I wanted a man opening up the magazine suddenly look at it with an expectation of something lascivious and then feel like the violator; that they would be looking at this woman who is perhaps a victim. I didn't think of them as victims at the time [...]» [Sherman Cindy, Cindy Sherman Biography, Art and Analysis of Works, The Art Story] «I think I showed this part of these people you see in centerfolds, the part that the photographer doesn't want to take pictures of.» [Morris Catherine, The Essential, Cindy Sherman, Harry N. The Book that Exploded https://www.behance.net/gallery/66883557/The-Book-that-Exploded
The Ticket That Exploded, is a novel published in 1962 by William S. Burroughs, which perfectly represents the author’s idea of a language as a virus. According to the writer, the language was not a natural code nor the shared air in which we all move making sense, but a devious opponent to be disarticulated, broken down and destroyed. Starting from this reflection, the project consists in revisiting the novel created with the aim to be destructed and altered through a series of physical processes.

Giusto un anno fa stampavo "12 ways to kill your enemy/brother". . . . #illustration #graphicdesign #book #graphic #illustrations #sketch #drawing #print #kill #your #enemy #isia #isiaurbino (at Urbino) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByPo_hRinFg/?igshid=4nfnd6ier5jj

"Meridiane. Scambi di culture radici linguaggi" is a research project about the identities of the places. The goal is create a connection between two cities very far from each other in terms of geography, history and culture. We chose Barletta and Urbino because they are the cities that we lived more. A cultural exchange aimed at the development of a local heritage to propose again. The theme of the project is the folklore and popular art, from theater to street songs and vernacular poems of local comedians. The second part of the research, that is the focus of the project, talks about two characters of the Twentieth century, Michele Genovese for Barletta and Bruno Betti for Urbino, two people almost forgotten today but very known for the past generations. They are the exponents of the two places, and the relationship of them want to create a new, temporary, shared identity. A special thanks to the Pro Urbino association for the contribution to the contents.
