I keep trying to keep enemies for my RPG simple but instantly fail every time because the game has four health bars and I think it's cool how you have to manage different survival aspects and all but that means everything has FOUR HEALTHBARS

I need a more efficient way to abstract this down (especially since I keep wanting to split epic monsters into parts like some kind of videoghame bossfight, which means MORE HEALTHBARS) but haven't landed on something yet I can make universal. Maybe once summer is over and I actually get to sleep again...

Marching Band HeadCanon: Persona 5

Getting back from a competition, and decided to take a long damn look at which characters should be what. I’ll do more if y’all want me to. 

 Mmkay. 

Protag: Everything about this boi screams alto sax. He’s always brought enough sunscreen and water for his entire section and can be found playing licks and songs when not assigned to do anything else. A popular one is Careless Whisper or the Mario theme. 

 Ryuji is a trumpet. Any argument against it is incorrect and invalid. Not only is he a trumpet, he’s a “This p mark means Power, right?” trumpet. Never wants marching season to end, because he thinks concert music is boring. 

 Ann: For marching season, she’s Color Guard. For concert, french horn. Appreciates any and all solos, but thinks the makeup they have to wear is too gaudy. 

 Yusuke: this one’s a toughie, but I would have to say Color Guard as well, being a trombone in concert. He practices often and is inspired by the sheer dumbness of his section. As for the makeup, he sides with Ann. 

Makoto: Drum Major and Oboe. Being the director’s right-hand man, she’s just as much of a stickler for the rules as ever. Sae makes sure she practices daily and makes her practice more for every squeak. 

 Futaba: Percussion, specifically Front Ensemble (or Pit to others). She was encouraged to try for Drum Line but decided that is was too loud. And too much pressure. Sojiro goes to every game, sits in the same seat every time, where Futaba and Joker can see him give an encouraging smile and thumbs up. 

Haru is so much of a flute it’s unbelievable. She got private lessons since she was young, so she’s incredibly advanced. Gets the solo every time. Also the oddball of the section. The others think she may come off pretentious, but they’re the pretentious ones. 

Goro: If anything, clarinet. Not the most dedicated, but given he’s a detective, on top of an ace student, that’s not surprising. 

 Morgana: He wants to play the tuba, but it’s too big, so he has to settle for a baritone. He’s the Drill Instructor and is looking to be a Drum Major. In concert, he only knows one dynamic: Forte. He and Ryuji like to play ‘Who can play the loudest before their chops are destroyed?’.
