the malinda family

a while back i did one of these for the quinn family so i wanted to give the malindas the same treatment. i don't have faceclaims for all the members out there but i included everyone i did have and some spouses too. additionally, acacia malinda is now canon, good for her!

founders’ era: fergus and iseult

the origins of the malinda family trace back to fergus, the bastard son of godric gryffindor. he met and fell in love with a norman witch, iseult, during the tumultuous years of conflict after the founding of hogwarts.

iseult was the daughter of the rich and powerful mage, richard of caen, who proclaimed himself witch-king of the franks in the power vacuum left by eadric spinebreaker’s death and the disappearance of his most fearsome weapon, the dragon thorog.

fergus and iseult weren’t allowed to marry due to their different stations, so they eloped and lived in a hamlet near hogwarts. iseult’s father died by assassination a few years later. it was said he was killed by a shadow shaped like a woman but such things were the stuff of blood magic, were they not...?
