i absolutely adored the constellations and the scars in Sunlight Streaming in Through the Windows and i had to at least get a doodle in as to that siffrin! so here's a half hour-ish doodle about it

Hhhey guys, wouldn't it be funny if after eating Cynessa's core, Uzi got fully possessed by Cyn.

Wouldn't that be so funny.

For clarification, I mean regular Cyn without the influence of the solver. The Cyn who lived so long as a puppet of the solver, watching the people she considered family turn against her.

But that's fine. It made sense, didn't it? Who would trust someone who has killed them thousands upon thousands of times. Death was her punishment, to which she accepted with open arms.

And yet.

She was still alive. Not in her own body, but still alive. Alive in a body that didn't malfunction, with legs that could stand up straight and a voice box that didn't involuntarily say her every action.

Her family didn't look at her like she was wrong. Like she was strange.

Like she was a monster.

Now, she is loved.

A chance to live the life she never had.

Was it so wrong to indulge a little?

Ya know, obviously Siffrin (whose name auto correct keeps changing to suffering, which is pretty fitting lol) went through hell and back with the loops. All the angsty art and fics around that I totally get and love to see, however I like to imagine the toll their whole journey took on everyone…

It’s brought up in the game how the King’s power over Vuagarde had a huge impact on Bonnie with their sister + with Mirabelle having the weight of saving a country on her shoulders, but I can’t recall if anything was brought up with Isa and Odile? (Oh nooOOoOo, how awful I can’t remember! Guess I’ll just have to rewatch a let’s play of the game again! What a shame… /j) So yeah :3 Nightmares for everyone! Though Sif definitely has gotten quite a lot more baggage from their journey (which I do intend to make art of eventually..)

My fanfic, Place Your Bets on Winning Hats, is an AU in which Loop wins the 2hats fight and is now adjusting to life as a human again. That includes relearning what it's like to have a mouth and taste buds.

Everyone quickly assumes "Siffrin" is acting strangely because they just got out of the loops, unaware that they just got out of being Loop! (ba-dum tish)

It's going to be a slow-burn recovery and guilt-filled adventure. Wish them luck -or, maybe don't. They're sick of wishes.

I don't know how everyone isn't also always constantly thinking about how burial rites seem to be potentially one of the few things Siffrin instinctively remembers about their culture. But rest assured. I am in fact always thinking about it.
