Isagi: i love that he's literally so fucked up for no reason. like everyone else has abusive parents or a traumatic injury or something, and he's over here being Fucking Insane despite his completely mundane and happy life. love that freak <3

Rin: oh my god he's so realistically sixteen years old. edgy, acts like he's an idgaf warrior but does, in fact, actually gaf, says shit like 'shut up I'll stab you'. 10 outta 10 teenage boy writing, no notes.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

Isagi: he should be playing midfield, why are he, Ego, and the narrative convinced that Isagi's mean to be a striker? mf should be in the midfield!!!

Rin: his fucking fashion sense, that outfit from 150-151 was like a lighthouse keeper on his way to a pierce the veil concert

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

Isagi: loved him pretty much from the get go, my favourite kind of characters are ones who fit the 'aw little guy!' 'oh he's a bit fucked up actually' archetype and immediately in chapter one he has his screaming in the middle of the street and 'I am a striker!!' moments so I knew he was deranged and fucked in the head

Rin: his introduction was really cool so immediately I thought he was interesting and intimidating, and as we learned more about him I found myself liking him more and more

Expansion on my Tokyo Ghoul x Blue Lock AU that no one asked for but I'm posting anyway because it's fun for me:

Itoshi Sae is considered the best ghoul eliminator of Japan so he's constantly out on missions. He's Director Mikage's favourite and go-to for the more complicated missions

Itoshi Rin is also a rising star among the ghoul eliminators, so he's fighting for the spot at the very top as well

The top-ranked ghoul eliminators are assigned different wards they're responsible for. For Shibuya, it's MC and Reo. In Kita ward, it's Otoya and Karasu. In Nerima ward, it's Rin and Isagi (because I want to make them suffer). They have squads that follow them, although Rin and Isagi tend to be more focused on their competition than looking after their subordinates lol

Ghouls in custody of the Association: Kuon Wataru (was kicked out of the Blue Lock sanctuary for being a double agent), Shidou Ryusei (captured by Sae), Wanima brothers (I just don't like them /j)

Director Mikage doesn't really care how the eliminators deal with ghouls, but he does have a rule he expects everyone to follow: no one is allowed to kill former Neo Egoist Project participants, who are being kept in the lab while researchers work to find a way to reverse the ghoul condition

This AU was a mixture of Tokyo Ghoul and Resident Evil. I imagined the Mikage Corporation taking the place of Umbrella, but I actually haven't decided if I want them to be the 'good' guys yet. I just like it when characters make bad decisions and deal with the consequences sometimes lol

I was also inspired by the consistent 'devouring' theme in the manga. I'm not an athlete so I'll never know if sports really does get that serious but if they're happy then I'm happy for them. Live ur life yk

No one knows where the location of Blue Lock's sanctuary is, but the Association guesses it either moves every couple of years or it's scattered all across Tokyo

Although it's called a sanctuary, ghouls in Blue Lock actually live by the survival of the fittest rule. Weak ones get consumed or left behind. Strong ones can continue to wreak havoc. yk, standard Blue Lock stuff
