TF2 Sickfic Prompt

So we all know that Medic isn't actually a doctor: he never went to medical school, doesn't have doctorates for anything that we know of actually, and yet somehow was able to gain a medical license that ended up being revoked.

Majority of things we see the Medic due involve experimental surgery and healing physical injuries. People tend to assume that he would also know things about illnesses and whatnot but like...what if he didn't?

What if Medic knew jackshit about how to treat a disease? What if Medic happened to be the only "doctor-type" person around when a flu bug hits the base at full force? What would he do?

So in February I drew Eiko in a Sailor Moon AU (a.k.a. Sailor Blood Moon), art which I haven't posted here and have archived on Instagram bc it's sadly a little ugly. 😔 So here is the AU again but in the manga artstyle.

This AU remains a favourite of mine, and I've also had the itch to study Naoko Takeuchi's artstyle for a really long time, bc I honestly think her style is gorgeous. The way she colours and shades is especially beautiful imo, and I wanted to emulate her style for the comeback of this AU, instead of drawing in the 90s' anime artstyle like I did with the art from February.

I am begging the Sailor Moon fandom to stop sleeping on Naoko's breathtaking artistic skills and yes I know about the fuckass proportions but jokes on you I like the fuckass proportions. They're iconic atp

Also in the manga there is some art of the characters in this chibi style in some pages, so I drew some for Eiko too! I like the sailor senshi one, but the civillian one feels like I didn't get the style quite right. I'm too tired to try to fix it, so I'm posting it anyway.

I made solenear 20 years because 20 years is roughly 1040 weeks which is close to 999 weeks/cycles

This is assuming all RW creatures live WAY longer than normal creatures or just scaled for convinience

Cycle

One cycle is one normal week that consists of 7 days

Each day the rain increases in duration and intensity to the point it takes up the entire day or becomes strong enough to kill

So creatures CAN live through rain and make it to the next day until the rain becomes too strong to ignore and be forced to hibernate

Rain resets each cycle

Iirc your rain counter lights up when you're halfway in a cycle. I imagine this is when the rain starts to hurt

Tremors happen when the next rain will DEFINITELY kill

dont feel like drawing this currently but i've always had this idea of Vitus being fascinated with ferrus' and fulgrim's craftsmanship, especially forgebreaker and fireblade

the idea of fulgrim taking notice of vitus constantly staring at his weapon, eventually deciding he would pass it down to him

or perhaps making him his own piece of weaponry out of similar materials

i cant remember much but the main idea was that this weapon would be pretty much all Vitus had left of fulgrim after their separation on istvaan 5 (until ofc she's coherenced into rejoining)
